Comfort Inn & Suites Frisco East - McKinney

Stayed here prior to a medical procedure. Everything was fine. Did not use amenities, but suited our needs well.

Good location, staff was helpful, not overly friendly, but worked with me on issues. Smells like they are covering up a bad smell via a commercial odorizer. Second floor room was above pool and felt damp. Cheap cologne smell permeates the lobby and carries across the building, especially second floor - super strong and quite unbearable. They switched my room to fourth floor where it was better but given lobby/second floor issues I would not stay again

N/A Ac unit leaked every day and made my room smell like mildew.

There was the most beautiful spirited young lady there by the name of Ella who stated she was with hospitality . She was very warm and pleasant answering all and all questions about the area and things to do. Nothing.

room keys kept failing. bed and pillows were sub-par. only one person at desk so had to wait 15 minutes to re program room keys. light switches were faulty. Air conditioner was great!

The staff was so so kind to me! I came in from work and key card wasn’t working and the gentleman could tell that I was stressed out. It was a small but MEANINGFUL act. I greatly appreciated how sweet ever was.

The going down elevator button on the third floor did not light up so didn’t know if it was working. I had to press going up button to get the elevator to get to me then press floor 1 when going down. However the cleaning ladies were fantastic and very friendly.

This hotel exceed my expectations. The room were clean. Staff were super nice and professional 24 hour front desk easy to move around the area and the breakfast was wonderful.

Very clean room and hotel overall. I loved having a bathtub!!! The only thing that bothered us was that the exterior doors were not on a key to open system. Didn’t like knowing anyone could enter the hotel at anytime. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, there is a walking trail very close to the hotel. We will definitely stay again.

For the price of this room, it was amazing. The rooms were clean and stocked. The indoor pool had plenty of towels for drying.

The staff is always available and they have a very relaxed vibe but they are there to help you whenever you need. You can tell that the staff work really hard and that they are prompt and fair. The pool is okay. It works, but it's a little old. I liked that the pool was inside because we went during the beginning of spring. The hotel rooms are clean and they provide a lot of towels. I thought it was odd that we didn't have tissue paper though. It was close to the highway and conveniently located to where I needed to be. I brought my own pillow.

I didn’t really care for the breakfast. However, the staff was extremely nice! The facility was very clean and it smells amazing when you walk in.

Everything was good. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only "negative" was hearing the cars from the highway nearby, but it wasn't that bad. It was a convenient location, safe and kept up well.

5 night stay, key cards needed to be reset often, room was nice, pool was cold, could hear the people in the next room so not able to sleep very well, breakfast was good, room refreshed daily.

We needed a hotel near our home while we were waiting for repairs. Very impressed with this little gem. It’s a basic hotel - not fancy but all that is needed. Appreciated having plenty of nice towels and a laundry on site. The front desk staff was kind and welcoming.

My grandson had a 3 day basketball tournament we stayed at this hotel . The staff was great I can’t say that cleaning staff was the best the 2nd day of coming back to our room looked like the beds where made by a toddler it was half cleaned but I didn’t complain just dealt with it . But other than that it was great .

Room was fine, felt clean, but the entire hotel had a VERY STRONG smell that was overpowering and off-putting. It was some sort of cleaning agent/perfume/air freshener, but it was EVERYWHERE and it was serious. Way too much - in the lobby and halls was stronger, but it seeped into the room as well. Will not stay here again because of it.

Due to the polar ice blast travel was not possible so I never even made it to the hotel. I made multiple attempts to cancel the reservation without success.

No hot water in bathroom despite complaining multiple times to front desk. Couple of maintenance guys showed up but did not do fix it till we checked out. This in spite of the temperature in the lower 30s outside. Also, very less items in breakfast and not stocked on time but they ensured to remove all items by 9:30 sharp

For the most part the stay was ok until I went to take a shower in morning before leaving and no hot water in the shower nor sink. Very disappointed. When mentioned it to front upon check out all that was said was "oh, sorry"

Lots of hallway noise coming into room. Even after 11:00 pm, staff did not ensure people were respecting the quiet hours. Woke up in the middle of the night to grab something and found a baby roach crawling near the bed, so cleanliness is an issue here.

For some reason I checked out early I have booking for 2 days I asked them to give the check out paper so I can check with Expedia to give me refund for extra day but they still show me in their system that I didn’t check out I asked them to give me the paper work that I check out 1 day earlier but matin assistant manager he told me we can’t give you and hang up call on me

Everything about this hotel is great. Location, staff, comfort, amenities are all great. However, on this most recent visit, I believe another guest deliberately punctured my vehicle tire and caused a flat tire on my brand new vehicle.

The location is good and centralized to Frisco McKinney and Allen areas with 15 minutes. The staff could use so.e training in customer service etiquette and the bed linens could be reviewed for replacement as there were several nicked up sheets and some with permanent stains that were in the bed when Initially check in.

The check-in was extremely unsafe, especially as a woman traveling alone. The screen at the front desk openly displayed my name, address and room number that guests standing behind me could see. The room had a rancid smell of urine, I could hear the toilet next door flushing very loudly. The water only got luke warm.

The only bad thing about this hotel is that the pool was freezing no bedbugs but I hate the fact we can’t bring pets room was clean

I'd stay here again just for the Shower! Comfortable beds (between Too soft and firm --I prefer more firm though). Good sized TV, and nice to have hairdryer & ironing board/Iron. Quiet room. Also elevator doors close like a whisper as do stairway doors. Breakfast was good with protein options (eggs, sausage) and Waffle makers, but with cereals only had fruit loops and cornflakes (missing Honeynut Cherrios & Raisan Bran). Indoor & Outdoor Pool areas were clean. Exercise room clean AND had Dumbbells for free-wt training!! (though the 15 lb and 25 lb dumbbell pairs were apparently stolen..). Room had a weird odor upon entering, but A/C and nasal habituation eliminated it in less than a minute. Convenient access to Highways (Free & Toll) as well as restaurants, medical clinic, hospital and huge churches. Very safe location, nice part of town.

Overall room was nice. Air conditioner was slightly loud which kept waking me up. Breakfast wasn’t bad and at least there was sausage! Great Texas waffles! Will definitely stay here again and request a quieter AC.

We had a lot of difficulties open our door. The key lock system at the hotel can really use an upgrade. We had to get help several time to get our door to open I. Which they had to rapidly slide the key and try to open the door. It was crazy.

Overall, the stay was not bad, but I will warn you that there are repairs that need to be made to the hotel. Such as the sink in the bathroom, the handle spun around and around, so you had to figure out where it stopped to actually turn the faucet off. The stopper for the sink, I don’t know if it worked or not because the knob was broken off. Also, it has weird lights above the bed that took me close to 10 minutes to figure out where the switch was in order to turn them off. The floors in the elevator had a lot of dirt on them. It’s not a bad hotel. It’s just needing some renovation and a little more communication.

We originally booked the Holiday Inn down the road After our town was hit by a tornado and we suffered power outages and damage, but when their online booking left us without a room and rude staff who would not refund us, we moved down to this hotel. We had an excellent experience. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We got to our room quickly and were very pleased. The next morning the included breakfast was so good! They had eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes, plus also the waffles, cereal, fruit, and a variety of breads/bagels. Needless to say we would def stay here again.
