Attentive staff and very clean and simple place. Excellent value and comfortable beds. Parking lot spaces were rather narrow when it was full of full size trucks.

The hotel itself seemed fine at first, and the room appeared reasonably clean, but after staying there I came home covered in bedbug bites. I then had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning my home, washing my belongings, and worrying about whether I had brought bedbugs back with me. This completely ruined the experience and created a lot of stress after the stay. I would not stay here again, and I would strongly caution others to avoid this hotel unless they can confirm the bedbug issue has been fully addressed.

Amazing, i love the staff and the yummy breakfast, no roaches and there WAS coffee in the room. The door also locks unlike others have said. Pool is full of water and refreshing but not cold. Shoutout fresno

Went to an event close by, was only given one room key which a friend lost. When we got back to the hotel the lobby was closed and a note on the window to call a 24hr number. When we called the number kept disconnecting. Had to go stay at another hotel, when we went back in the morning and showed the call logs, the employee said they received no calls. Told them to check the cameras as well. Contacted management, they never returned my call and still won’t answer me in regards to a refund. Horrible service.

Unfortunately, my handicapped father was sick the first night and soiled a sheet, and 2 towels. The staff would not take the dirty linens and told me I would be charged for the fitted sheet and 2 towels ($100). I had to call to have the trash removed, and towels replaced on the second day, as no one came to clean the room. When I returned to the room on the 3rd day, the room had not been cleaned again, so I checked out a day early. It is hard to take care of someone in a wheelchair with dirty towels and trash piling up. The first day, the cleaning people gave me 3 rags so I could clean up. I used them to mop the floor. The water was black coming out of the rags, and I had to go over the floor twice to get it cleaner, but at least I was not sticking to the floor anymore. I do not believe they mop the floors at all. Very disgusting! The only person who was at all helpful during the stay was the front desk clerk. He brought me a clean, fitted sheet and towels the second day after the room was not cleaned, and took the soiled linens. He also helped me with the doors so I could get my handicapped father in an out of the doors. I was charged for the night I did not stay. Very disappointed as Best Western used to be a decent hotel chain.

The service was great the front desk employee was very friendly. The rooms were clean and had no bad smells.

Everything was perfectly organized and exactly as shown in the photos, which I really appreciated. The staff truly made the difference — incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The location is also fantastic, just a few blocks from the train station and an Avis rental car office, which made everything very convenient.

The breakfast was ok and the price was the cheapest I could find in Fresno. It was not very clean the pool was not swimmable, the microwave and fridge smelt like something died in it, I saw bugs in the room, and although I got my full security Deposit back it was higher than normal and took a long time to process.

I didnt like anything about it. I changed my reservation from myself and son to just my son. I was charged for 2 rooms when I wanted one........ And told them so when I called to change the reservation.......... You suck!

It's a very old but somewhat renovated motel. Ok for one night, but happy it was only one night. The bed frames are made of metal and every time you get up or lay down on a bed, it makes loud metal noise. Such noises come from your own bed as well as you can hear them from other rooms. Very annoying. The walls in our room were dirty with some brown splashes - not sure what those were. Microwave in the room did not work. The iron wasn't working property. The front desk guy was nice. Would not stay there again.

The door to our room had so much light coming through all around the edges that I thought I could feel a breeze from outside.

check in was easy , the water pressure in the showers was great and the bed was so comfortable.

There is no bathroom counter space and transits hangout in and around the parking lot. I immediately checked out the next morning, which was a day earlier than expected. I booked a hotel around the corner which was 1000% better and had parking lot security. I do not suggest staying at the SureStay by Best Western in Fresno and wish I could get my money back.

Clean the floors between patrons. Make sure each microwave is functioning. Create a barrier between the shower water and the rest of the bathroom, especially the toilet. Place a counter around the sink. Place the sink in the bathroom.

There is no outlet in the bathroom and no mirrors in the main room, so I had to use my computer camera to do my hair. The floors were so oily from cleaning product that I left visible footprints. There is such poor ventilation in the bathroom that the wood on the bathroom door was splitting apart. There are no sheer curtains, so your lighting options are "blinds open for everyone to see" or "dim horror movie lighting." But it is in a convenient spot.

The room had a funky smell to it. I looked down and my feet were black, so my guess is they're mopping the rooms with dirty water. The shower came with a dirt ring around the tub. And the guy at the desk acted like he didn't understand english when i asked about it. The smell in the room got better after I bought a Fabreeze air freshener. I was charged 100$ deposit, I should get it back and some kind of compensation for the conditions of the property.

This was a perfect stay for us with what we were doing at the Save Mart Center. The staff was amazing and friendly. The breakfast was very good as well.

This is an older property right near a couple of convention centers. So if you're looking to stay somewhere cheap for the night, this is the place. Not much to get excited about. Just a basic place to lay your head down. It appears that the area is pretty safe, however there are limited dining options to walk to.

the beds were on some sort of metal plate that makes a very loud noise when you turn over. our car got broken into while we stayed there, the attendant promised to send us a video of the security footage and we have not been sent it nearly a month later.

It is very convenient to government offices and many fast food changes as well. Nothing special. If amenity like drinking water bottles are provided, it will be excellent.

The friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure I had a room for the night and wasn't left sleeping in the freezing cold. What I didn't like is that I had to check out. I wish I had the funds to be able to stay another night.

Wanted to check in at 5 and room wasn't ready. Went to store and came back. They said the room was ready but it wasnt clean. There was hair everywhere. Bedding didn't appear to have been changed. Shower sprays water everywhere and there is no curtain just a half divider.

The property is located to accessible areas, but the property itself is a bit needs repair. My room had to go to the front desk because I had to restart a breaker to get my heater going in my room the room smelled a faint smoke very noisy with other patrons playing music in their cars outside my bathroom needed repair. It seemed spin a little bit more money to get a better room. I was just passing through.

Air conditioning was too noisy to use consistently and there was a very strong, strange smell in the room. Room appeared clean but very dirty floor - our socks were black very quickly, advise not taking off your shoes. Bed very noisy. Cockroach in the bathroom.

Clean and decent, comfortable rooms. Free breakfast. One gets the impression new owners have a few things to take care of. Broken phone, ice machine out of order although they can give you ice at front desk, saw a few little roaches, no recycling. But bottom line: when I come to Fresno again, this most likely is where I will choose to stay.

It was terrible, we booked a king size bed, but it comes with two queen only, and asking us not to use the other bed. The bed has sound also everytime you get off from the bed. The fridge is broke as well.

This is an older facility in downtown Fresno. Room was clean. Bed reasonably comfortable. Bath towels were very small (2/3 the size of a basic bath towel) and stained. The pool and surrounding area was filthy and not well maintained. I spent an hour cleaning the pool so my daughter could get in it. Pretty disappointing.

It’s my little getaway so I can have PEACE. Only thing is the pool needs to be cleaned, been there twice within the last month and still needs cleaning

The room was OKAY but the window literally had bullet holes in them. We found sex toys under the bathroom sink and the cleanliness was just not acceptable. Sketchy part of fresno, very noisy and lots of homeless and drug addicts wandering the streets.

For the price this was fine, and about what I expected. I needed to be near the Yarts station, and this was very convenient. I would stay again given the same needs.

Property was ok. It was clean but the rooms were hot when arriving. Air conditioning is not kept on in empty rooms. After turning it on it went out twice and we had to switch rooms. The staff was very nice and quick to accomodate. The rooms were clean. This is not a fancy hotel but it was all we needed. Clean rooms, safe and close to the Chuckchansi Ball Park.

Late night check in was easy and fast. Rooms were clean. Wore headphones to minimize the noise coming from room above. Parking spaces are very narrow. I have a compact car and barely fit in between a lot full of SUVs.

My lock stopped working but they fixed pretty quickly. Room was clean. But did not have ice.

The picture shown on the Expedia site is of the pool and not the hotel. The hotel is a two story structure.

The layout of this motel room was very weird: the toilet and shower were in the bathroom, but the sink back in the bedroom - but, then, the towels were back in the bathroom, with no towel rack by the sink. So, to use the toilet you'd have to walk into the bathroom, then back to the bedroom, then back to the bathroom, then back to the bedroom. This didn't seem to have been thought through at all: the soap dispensers weren't over the sink, but off to the side, so you'd risk dripping soap onto your bedroom floor (again, with the towels back in the other room). The walk-in shower had barely any lip and was built on a slant, so the water would stream across half the bathroom; I had to use all my towels to mop up the water from the floor. Overall the room had a barren feel, with no decorations except a broken mirror. The bathroom especially had a bit of a prison cell vibe.

Most of the staff is pretty good, very basic check-in and they didn't really seem to care. They just gave you your room key and that was it. Only one problem was, that I had to do not disturb sign on my door when I left in the morning, and when I came back, my room was clean and the sign was removed from my front door. I had some valuable items that I didn't want anybody in the room during the day and they came in anyways. Second issue, was there is a sign in your room that says if you want to use the pool, get a towel from the front desk do not use your room towels, but when I went to ask at the front desk, the lady seem bothered that I was asking and drilled me if I was staying there, even though I had my key in my hand. There wasn't anything too bad that would stop me from coming back to this hotel, great location for your needs. Nice pool area, and not a lot of street noise!

Pictures very deceiving, bathroom door couldn’t close, it’s definitely a MOTEL and not a Hotel. The front desk stunk like hell, the bottoms of the every door was chipping off

Staff was friendly, breakfast is far from good. Night desk doesn't understand English well, and seemed upset to be disturbed in the morning. Room was clean enough, but as a person who suffers from aromatic allergies, I had issues. There is a full time air freshener in the bathroom covering up God knows what. Pool is surrounded by parking lot. So no privacy, ick! But for the price, I may be a little too picky. Very reasonable for money out out.

Very dirty but in line with being in Fresno. But the owners should have pride. Floor was dirty. Nothing clean. They just change the bedding and sweep the floor. I don’t think they mop or actually clean. Beggars can’t be choosers, the cheapest near the arena.

Great hotel

There was no ice machine, no hairdryer, no plug in the bath tub. Room was clean-ish but shows its age and crappy renovations. The room smelled heavily of mildew and not sure if it was just this room or all of them. The breakfast was underwhelming but I guess better than none, just avoid the coffee.

Checkin time was 2pm we arrived after 5pm and the room was dirty and had no towels. We had to go to the front to ask for towels. Clerk seemed frazzled and overwhelmed. Day 2, we left and came back about 10 hours later and the towels had been taken from our room without turn down service. (Fine but why take our towels). We had to again ask for towels! Second day no breakfast was out so that was an additional bummer since it’s listed as “free breakfast”.

Only good thing was walking distance to fresno convention center.

The place was remodeled so it looked nice but bathroom was small and the deadbolt lock did not work (no hole in the frame for the bolt) and the chain lock was barely hanging on. It was mostly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a late check-in and as tired as we were we had to wait for towels because there weren’t any in our room. I asked enough for the 3 of us and I was only handed enough for 2. When I asked for a 3rd I was told they were “rationed” but could have more in the morning. I insisted on a 3rd and eventually got it. There wasn’t any hand soap in the dispenser either but that was replenished without issue. Aside from the security of the door, the towel issue and limited parking I would consider staying there in a pinch. We only used the place to sleep and get ready so it served its purpose.

Parking was small. Everyone parked horribly. The rental car got a big scratch from the person parking next to me is what i assume. The towels were dirty. Please bring your own towels. There was no hair dryer. The bed was uncomfortable as its those older beds with sprang. If i recalled, I thought there was breakfast but nothing of that sort. Overall, i will not stay at this place the next time i am around the area.

We had terrible issues with the key. The place was dirty Broken parts Very noisy No full body mirror.

Clean and ergonomic rooms

They don’t tell you about the 100$ deposit until I got there. So heads up!

They set me up with an end room nearest the road. The room reeked of cologne. The only windows were teeny tiny and above my bed nearest the road. I had to climb on my bed to open them and try to air it out. Windows and ledges caked with dust, blue paint, torn screens. The front desk guy appeared very unsociable and unwelcoming. I asked him how his day was going and he abruptly replied, “busy”. There were openings in the walls with wires sticking out, no fan in the bathroom or caulking in various areas. Much debris strewn in the parking areas. Large gap under my entry door where a bright stream of light peered through at night.

It was more basic than Motel 6. Sterile. But most of all I was freezing because there were soome vents high on the wall, no thermostat or dials. The next morning the hotel clerk said the dials to turn on the HVAC were on top where you couldn't see or reach. Really stupid

Bath towel is old and make feel it’s not clean; breakfast is not that fresh and very limited…

There was no hot water the night we arrived or the next morning. We told the front desk clerk of the issue and his response was “ok”. The flooring in the room was starting to separate.

It appears that the rooms have just been renovated, fresh paint, new floors. The room we were in could’ve used some decoration as there was nothing on the walls.

Close to downtown

The place was decent for an overnight stay but the ice machine didn't work & there was no other option available. Breakfast was only packaged croissants, coffee, toast & gummy waffles with juice. It is what it is... other than that it was ok for the price.

For this one night stay, the heater / AC was a bit noisy which made it difficult to sleep. Also I discovered that the liquid bath soap dispenser had not been filled.

Not special motel and kind staff
