Everything was clean, the pool was great and the A/C worked well. That's all I needed.

This hotel probably wouldn’t be this low rated if it wasn’t in Fresno. The building is beautiful. The pool area is very nice. The rooms were run down. There was less than half a roll of toilet paper in the room. The breakfast was nice, but the room they serve it in a room without any AC. When we were checking in a man was claiming someone with a mask on came into his hotel room, which kind of set the tone for the rest of the stay. I probably will never return to Fresno. The staff seemed very nice and doing the best they can with what support they have.

Looks unappealing from outside. Older lobby but staff was great. Parking lot is fenced but there was still broken window glass in one of the spaces. Grounds were clean. Stairs to second floor had a loose step. Hall and carpets need to be painted and redone or put laminate. Room was clean. I was happy with air,water flow and room quality overall. Lots of food close by.. Starbucks in same parking lot.

Replace the couches in the rooms, make the rooms look a bit more modern they look like motels!

To say we were dissatisfied after 8 night stay would be a massive understatement. The photographs of this property are dramatically misleading, our floor was so dirt oil soaked it stained our sandals and shoes. Any time my toddler did what toddlers do and get off the bed to touch the floor I had to scrub the tar off her feet - necessitating full time shoe wearing like it was d-block in your local county jail. The so called breakfast is always scrambled eggs with waffle machine cereal and pastries. No potatoes, meat, yogurt, oatmeal, or fruit of any kind. Every hour or so a shady tinted out sedan blasting music comes and goes and times the entrance gate opening from a legit paying customer - likely indicative of narc sales. The pool is the only decent amenity here , but the tents are shredded from sun and wind exposure. Finally, our next door neighbor decided to blast music so loud it shook the walls till 3 am in the night - with the hotel staff offering to switch us out to a new room rather then have any conflict with an out of line customer. So if your staying a night for quick transactions and access to highway 41 while blasting your music with no repercussions and enjoy simple breakfasts items just bring your throwaway shower shoes. If refund was an option on the first night we would have been all over it - Definitely not ever staying at a Ramada again - would post photos if they allowed it - they should be scored like a 3 out of 10 not a 7.4

The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and the area surrounding the pool and Jacuzzi were clean and free of debris and that's important when you have children or elderly family members with you! I really liked the Ramada! Oh and breakfast is free, good and from 6 am - 9 am. Don't be late!

Location is great. Property very clean. First thing the keys didnt let me in. 2nd thing there was no ice bucket. Not a real big deal.But the gentleman at the front desk asked me to walk all the way down to the office to get it. Instead of just saying, I will bring it right up, they did, of course, but not what he wanted to do. There also was no towels, and I told him that when he brought me the bucket, as I walked down to go get ice with him. And he once again, doubled down on the why don't you come get them instead of bringing them to me? So I had to go get towels, and in my opinion, that's just something that they should have automatically said we'll bring them right over to you.Not, can you walk all the way down to the office?Which was two buildings over. But it's the world we live in these days.Customer service is almost non existent.

The rooms were not deeply cleaned. The grout in the bathrooms were black, the mirrors were smudged, the crevices had black grime in them. The couch did not seem clean. The carpet felt grimey. I did not feel comfortable in the room at all due to its lack of cleanliness. Also, the shower head is old and not adjustable so it sprayed water outside of the shower making the bathroom floor soaked. The air in the room did not feel fresh it felt stagnant and thick. The sink faucet also fell apart a little bit. It’s a pull up sink faucet which is hard to manage with wet hands.

The hotel is very run down. Not worth the price paid. Breakfast is very minimal and the pastries taste old. I have not stayed in a hotel, more like a motel, in 20 years or so. My friend reserved the hotel for us and said next time she will double check the hotel or ask friends for recommendations. Pictures are deceiving.

The gates to the secured parking areas within the motel have all the charm of a minimum security jail. One look at the free breakfast reminded me there was McDonalds across the parking lot, so we went that route. A/C was loud and vibrated alot, but did cool the room, but constantly cycled on and off every 10 minutes.

The pool and Jacuzzi were nice and clean which was very nice after some of the previous ones I have had the misfortune of seeing at other hotels. The staff are courteous and very nice too. Oh and the maids were very nice as well. I needed to exchange 1 towel and I have been put through the ringer over asking for this type of stuff before but not at this place and it was actually a relief!

For a $100+ a night, this is a scam. Rooms are extra old, furniture all wonky and over used, sheets are definitely a few years old with stains on them. Cleanliness is questionable: still finger prints on mirrors and tv, hair in the bathroom floor and even found a opened water bottle in the fridge. Pools are actually gross, not sure when they cleaned it for the last time but so much is debris and sh*t is floating on the water, which would explain why I have not seen anybody in it at day/night. Breakfast is inexistant: basic premade scrambled eggs, dry bread (has been out for a few days for sure) no meats, no sides, no hot sauce, no fruits, no yogurts, no bagels… absolutely not coming back.

I did not stay in the room at all. The bed had bed bugs and i had been scratching my legs. Also, when getting into the shower, there was insects/ants. I did not feel comfortable and left the hotel immediately. I was clearly disappointed. Never staying here again!

Staff treated us rudely, gave us conflicting information, and forced us to wait for hours before finally giving us a room that smelled like smoke and had stained carpets. We were overcharged for an early check-in fee as well.

The front desk area was ver nice and well maintained. However, the property is older and seems to need upgrades. The room we rented was decent and comfortable for the night we stayed. There were a couple of repairs that needed to be completed, the shower had very low pressure and difficult to take a shower. The outlets were loose and unusable. Overall a nice stay to rest, but the hotel needs to be upgraded.

WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BREAKFAST. WEB SITE INICADED THEY SERVED 7-11. WE MISSED IT! THEY SAID HOURS WERE NOTED ON OUR TICKETS, BUT WE CHEKED IN AT 2 IN MORNING. SINCE I READ IT ENDED AT, AND CHECKED AT 2 AM I DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING BUT MY BED.

The door would not latch unless it was bolted shut. The pillows were lumps of fluff in pillow cases. There were cracks in the toilet and sink. But the worst, we couldn't get the water to run clear. Not in the sink or shower. We brushed our teeth with bottled water. When I went to check out, after night one of our multi night stay, there was no one at the counter to check out with, or tell why we were cutting our losses and heading out.

The night clerk was a complete ass. He refused to give me my room voting the price was too low that I was charged. When I questioned him, he used very foul language with me and told me that I was being aggressive. Just for questioning him about why he was refusing to honor our reservation. It was midnight, my little kids were in the car tired and wanting a bed. This guy was from south of the border and had a major attitude. The drug dealers have invaded this hotel. Too bad it's so poorly managed. It's a complete dive now.

I have no idea how they opened the door. I was very scared and could not sleep the whole night. This is a serious safety issue. Room 277

The Lack of accommodations rooms for Disability. I had to walk upstairs after having surgery and was told that the bottom rooms ONLY had double beds which I found out wasn't true because when leaving the property I went to look in room #130 first floor which had one bed and a ramp for Disability. And I felt lied to.

The staff was pleasant and attentive. I didn't get to enjoy the pool which looked inviting nor breakfast due to my schedule. The bed was comfortable and adequate for my visit. The property appears aged and could use a makeover (deteriorating wood, paint peeling, etc.) Other friends & family stayed there as well and expressed similar reviews. Not necessarily a bad place to stay but less than what I expected for a Ramada/Wyndham property.

Check in time was 3 PM and I showed up at 2:45 PM. They wanted to charge me $25 just to check in 15 minutes early. I knew at that point this experience was going to go nowhere but down. There was a time many years ago when this hotel was actually a nice hotel, that is nowhere near the case in 2026. The free continental breakfast is free for a reason because it would be a crime to charge anyone to eat what they call breakfast. The room is about as basic as you can get for a hotel room. It seemed very dated and a little dingy and dirty. There are way too many options in a city as big as Fresno and when I go back, the Ramada will definitely not be where I choose to stay.

staff was nice, room was decent, but the bathroom could have better work. i stepped out the tub and water was all over the floor. me & my partner also saw bugs in the bathroom. it felt like an ampm bathroom with a tub. the AC was amazing it kept the tool cold all night.

The outdoor pool area is pretty, but again not clean. Trash all around. The pool is not heated and was ice cold. We asked for pool towels and they only had 2. We were told they would bring us 4 more, but never did. We had to go asking again. The breakfast was meh: a pan of scrambled eggs was the only protein option, the a couple pastries, toast, stale cereal, and a waffle maker. You have to turn in a ticket to get breakfast and eat it all in the dimly lit, Irish-themed pub/restaurant attached to the hotel lobby. It smelled so awful in there, like some kind of industrial cleaner, that it was hard to eat.

The pool was looking beautiful and inviting but i came for the Jacuzzi spa and it was in a beautiful setting but to my disappointment the spa temperature was not warm enough and the jets are in need of repairs as they were each just spouting and blurping plumes of water splashsand itmade ot very noisy.

This was the worst stay I have had in a long time. The noise was insufferable and the beds were rock hard. We didn’t even want to shower because of health concerns. I would not recommend staying here even for a significant discount.

The security gate to the parking lot and the security doors into the buildings were all open to any who tried to access them. Room is decent at best. Breakfast was fair. No meat or potatoes

The receptionist Dolores wrongfully deducted $30 from my deposit because a towel was dirty and I had to clean the bathroom floor because housekeeping never showed up! Since it is not my fault, the housekeeping never showed up and I stayed in two days, then I want my $30 refunded. I should not be having to clean it myself, especially because I am disabled. Dolores and Windham Ramada violate the Americans With Disabilities Act by failing to provide adequate help and cleanliness, especially since housekeeping did not show up and did not change the towels and the towels that dirty because housekeeping has been failing for a long time to mop the floors. They say they do what they did not. Imagine how dirty the whole hotel must be especially in the bathroom, sir if I don’t get my $30 back, I’m calling the health department.

The room was in terrible shape. The bathroom was awful. No heat into the bathroom. The sheets were very thin and the pillows weren’t even real pillows.

The hotel was very secured; gated hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good, too. My only complain is that service in the room was not done properly. We found a lot of hair strands on the restroom’s floor.

Room was ok, breakfast had limited options, area around hotel felt a little sketchy which I guess this is why they have an automatic gate to get in or out, but no need for key or anything. Just pull up to gates and they open automatically. Not exactly secure, anyone could come thru.

Had an elderly person with us and was placed in a 2nd floor room that had no elevator. She was unable to climb the stairs so unable to access the rooms. We had to go to another hotel because the hotel was sold out. They would not credit that night's stay despite multiple calls. How can a hotel not be ADA accessible. The hotel was VERY dated and appeared to have section 8 housing on the lower floor.

I would’ve gave 5 stars until I received a call interrupted my sleep by one of the clerks saying one of the cleaners knocked on my door to bring me towels which I received already by two lady’s, and he went on and said my service animal barked at him which is not true, she barked to alert us that someone was at the door, but he got no response due to me being sleep but he goes on and say the dog was barking at him when I didn’t even go to the door so I’m very annoyed that he would go and say that and for the clerk to tell me that service animals don’t bark. Don’t know where any of them got their training but a service animal is still a dog and they bark to alert not talk. So please don’t ask someone if the dog would attack when I didn’t even open the door for the guy and she bark to alert us that someone was at the door. Very upsetting and now don’t want to stay due to this guy that I don’t know what he looks like cause I didn’t answer the door. It’s sad that you had to lie but don’t do that because you make this place look bad and people with service animals don’t want to stay. Especially when you get a call and they’re questioning you which that’s not supposed to happen but more training for service animals cause they do bark to alert.

Breakfast is always good and fresh the breakfast attendant lady is always so sweet. Parking is always safe. I’ve been staying at the Ramada off of Shaw since February. When my granddaughter was born and in the nicu. We travel to the children’s hospital often. I’ve never had a bad experience until last night. Unfortunately, we was checked into a room that the tub would not drain. The floor was disgusting stains all over the towels and a staff that checked us in was very rude unfortunately, the Front Desk lady had to come check the room to see if we were lying we had a bad experience this time. I myself is a supervisor at a navy gateway ins end suites in China Lake where we don’t question our guests we make sure everything is up to par up to their standards to provide a good and satisfying stay.. if a guest request to change rooms, we don’t ask questions. We make sure we have another room to move them to and do it to satisfy our guest.. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this Ramada in and never had any bad experiences. I hope my next visit here will be more pleasant. If not I will unfortunately have to find a different hotel. But most employees here are very friendly and respectful. So I will give them another try.

Good place to stay over night. Not much for parking but it is gated. Close to fast food and coffee. The breakfast was a little disappointing. There could be more variety of choices for breakfast.

Never got to use the pool, but we loved the lighting and atmosphere around it! Plan on using it next trip for sure! Room was amazing and we had not even the slightest nitpicking about it! Kudos to Ramada for having adjoining services with Tilted Kilt...had a couple drinks without leaving the property! Hands down using Ramada for every Fresno stay!

Room was clean, staff was excellent. The door entrance to the room needed to be repainted. The door also needed a security door latch repaired as it was missing. The frame to the bathroom needed repainting and was missing a door. There was a stain on the carpeting that needs to be removed.

The property is old and could use some upgrades. The room was clean and comfortable but does show wear and tear. The door showed damaged to the door frame as if someone had tried to kick the door in, so the deadbolt wasnt that secured. Secure parking and security visible. The courtyard and pool area are nice.

The pictures on the site made the room look nicer than what they were. The rooms have a weird smell probably due to old outdated carpet. Stayed because of the location it’s convenient. The area is nice and close to the university.

An older property and showed signs of it age. Maintenance could do a better job. Some of the previous repairs showed the lack of skill or care in their work. The property had a fence around most of it for extra security for parking your car. Which is good on one hand but also say the neighborhood is not that great. The staff was very friendly and polite. The pool was nice. The breakfast for not worth eating. And not very many option for breakfast. Definitely could of done better with that.

It was an ok hotel. The pool area was nice. The room was rather run down and the bedding stained. The furniture was drab and the whole room looked like it needed a a deep clean. The hairdryer in our room wasn’t working and the walk around the entire complex meant it was super inconvenient to try and find someone to get a replacement. Was ok for a one night stay.

Convenient location; i was offered a room downstairs facing the courtyard and it was surprisingly quiet. I think the only negative is the breakfast. It was very limited, no fruit, no meats (sausage or ham), but great if you're carbo-loading for a marathon.

Property was just average. The hallway door to the rooms didn't close well and smelt like weed. Checking out was horrible, it seemed like the cleaners and front staff couldn't wait to kick you out right at the top of the hour.

The room is outdated. A chair in the room was stained and unclean. Lights by the beds did not work. No fan in the restroom. The room was not what I expected from the pictures on the website. The price was ok, but I won’t be scheduling another stay there.

Breakfast was on time and convenient

Fresno was a short stop on our road trip, and we were not expecting much. The hotel itself has a lot of room for improvement, our room was clearly cleaned with clean sheets and clean bathroom. However, the room needs attention as the floors, walls, and baseboards all had permanent looking black smudging, dots, and staining throughout. The toilet leaked out the bottom resulting in standing water, and with the bathroom having no ventilation or fan caused the room to get very humid after each shower. The hotels checkin process is very lengthy where each guest took 20 minutes or more to complete checkin, the front desk staff were very nice and accommodating despite this. Also, the hotel lobby has no restrooms, not something you want to encounter after traveling on the road for 5 hours. The staff were wonderful, the hotel itself needs work.

I found the hotel thru Expedia and filtered out the hotels to one with good reviews etc….. the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Homeless surround the area. Seems like some people live there full time. The alarm clock going out at 12.00 am is very creepy and the alarm making a statically noise along with beeping made me run outa there. The room felt uncomfortable to be in and the bed had brown/reddish stain marks.

Bad overall experience

Took me 40 minutes minutes to even get into the hotel room door was jammed could not get into the building with key security. Had to come after 40 minutes to open the door for me. Staff said it’s a incurring problem and that I had to just keep messing with the door.

We were only able to stay for around 6 hours until a major brawl broke out next to our room that included a gun at 12am. I tried to call 911 but our phones didnt work to reach 911 had to use my cell phone. Tons of police came including a helicopter. 2/3rds of our outlets didnt work, had to put microwave on floor next to an outlet to get it to work.. my kids were screaming out of fear. The hotel wanted me to have my kids to walk across the property to a different room at 1am. Asked for a refund which they refused. Horrible!

I made the mistake. The staff was friendly, otherwise the room was dirty, the desk chair was broken, there was hair and i believe sunflower seeds in the toilet, homeless around.

Morning breakfast wasn’t great , and not allowed to take coffee or food to the room? But yet there’s a coffee maker and I ordered food to my room. , small children unsupervised , no adult with them, swimming in the pool that’s extremely dangerous and running through hotel areas and parking lot

The restaurant closed at 9pm. The air did not work in the initial room we were in and we had to switch rooms to make sure we stayed cool/comfortable. Staff was good and accommodating.

The most frustrating part of our stay was that there weren't plugs that worked near the bedside and that there was only one bedside table.

We found a couple bugs in our room. When we found the first bug, the front desk assured that they would spray the outside of the room. We found another bug that night, a different kind. Additionally, several things in the room didn't work. We only had one working electrical outlet. All other outlets did not work. Our microwave didn't work. The lamp on the desk didn't work. The water in the shower did not come out of the shower head all the way, and the water only got warm, not hot. The ironing board also worked inefficiently, and almost damaged my work shirt. The sheets on both beds did not smell the best, and all three of my pillows had half of the "stuffing" in them, so I did not have a sound sleep both nights I stayed. The front desk staff was helpful, but I was overall disappointed in the cleanliness and presentation of the room.

Our tub tap was dripping, wasteful for water. The grout in the bathroom needs a good bleach cleaning. One of our beds had a misaligned base. The AC unit was super loud. The area around the hotel had multiple old pallets laying around & we had to go through an automatic fenced gate to the parking area. Outdoor pool area was nice, hot tub was big & good for meeting people. Check in staff were nice.

Hotel is old and not clean. Definitely needs some TLC. Found hairs on pillow and towel in the bathroom. Needs a good deep clean and some upgrades. Would recommend spending the extra $40 for a nicer hotel.

Location access is convenient for freeway if traveling to Yosemite nps. Good for one night stays not extended stays .

Dirty and roaches

Dirty, smelled like cigarettes.

I have a heart and lung condition and they gave me a room facing the parking lot. It was dirty. The refrigerator smelled like old food. The bathroom had a little mold on ceiling. These things are not good for her health condition. I asked for a room facing away the parking lot. They just moved next-door at least it didn’t stink, but there was a problem with opening and shutting the door. I did not feel safe on the last night of my stay say some unknown person was knocking my door at 4:30 in the morning. I will never stay here again.
