    It had breakfast with waffles. Parking was free. It was very close to a grocery store. The microwave and fridge both worked. The door to my room did not close completely and had clearly been broken before and poorly repaired. The tub didn’t drain much at all. The water tasted bad. The only working ice machine was located on the complete other side of the hotel. The apple juice and orange juice machines didn’t work at breakfast.

    Late arrival and was given an occupied room. I had to go two times to the lobby until the occupant called. Second try, the door to the room was open. Third try I was downgraded to only one bed, first floor with a broken window taped together. The room had trash from previous guest inside. I also saw two or three non—guests wondering the area. I should request a full refund!

    The hotel was nothing like they advertised. Locked gates around the whole property, female workers going up to vehicles all hrs of the night, leaving with them and returning. Our room was on an inside corridor that was exposed to a significant amount of foot traffic in and out of rooms by guest and people not staying there. The room itself was dirty and locked windows without the ability to get fresh air. A dark red or brown stains on the bathroom door and wall. Appeared to be a blood color. Homeless man parked in a torn apart RV in the back parking lot that was causing a seen in the lobby over breakfast. It was just a bad experience of the hotel. The workers were very nice and the only good part of the stay.

    I booked this room for my parents to help spend time with my son who is a CRMC Fresno. There are alot of random people and homeless in the area. Someone tried to break into their room late on a Friday night. And again at 3am in the morning someone came banging on the door. My mom was so scared she left the following morning and didn't use the whole 2 nights I booked. When they tried to get there stuff out of the room after complaining to management it took them 2 times walking back and forth to get the key to work on the door. The help was horrible, and I would not recommend this place to anyone, and would be cautious on what you keep in your room and your car.

    We arrived around 11ish pm that night. The front desk lady was not helpful and very rude. We reserved the room like two months ahead of time for funeral home visit. When we got there, the front desk lady said she has no room for us. Only room available for two beds is one with the broken fire alarm and one with king bed. I asking her if they overbooked us since our reservation was two months ago for two room with two beds. She said she doesn't know, she clocked in her shift and already been crazy to her. She told us that either we take the room and try to fix the alarm ourselves or no room. We have no choice but to stay the night because have no where to go to since it's almost might night plus this is our first time there and we don't know the areas well. We ended up check out the next morning because the alarm beeping all night and my room was smell cigarettes from the neighbors. I have always been good customer with this hotel, but this one has been one of the most bad experiences.

    Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in our stay. I could smell smoke in my room, even though it was smoke from outside. The bathtub looked dirty. And the TV didn’t work. When I brought it up, he tried to tell me how to fix it, but that did not work. When I went down again, they basically shrugged their shoulders, and I was forced to try to fix it myself. Two other people were also complaining about the TV. The fitness center was just a treadmill and a multiple workout station. Unfortunately the workout station had a broken cable with no signs saying not to use it. This could’ve easily been a hazard, waiting to happen. Also, I reserved my room weeks ago and when I tried to check in, they could not find my room and told me they weren’t sure they had one. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and check-in took almost 15 minutes. I have stayed at La Quinta Inn before, but I will not stay at this one ever again

    The only thing we enjoyed was the pool! Cockroaches as big as quarters. Didn’t get a new room till the second night ….. the tv did not work, we could not hook up our Xbox, half the outlets didn’t work. The radio was broken and the phone in the room didn’t work. No help from anyone!!!

    The staff was great The first room was run down, air conditioner didn’t work, TV didn’t work, floors were dirty, and it had a lingering old smell, and dirty walls. The second room was similar, however, the air conditioner did work while the rest was the same. I would also like to mention the people who linger in Vehicles outside all day and night.

    The problem was that we requested the room to be cleaned while we were out. Didn’t happen. Ok, we’re grassing to dinner. Please clean the room. Didn’t happen. Ok, please get housekeeping to come up. Didn’t happen. Ok, find them. Good. Still didn’t happen Ok, let’s change the room. Fine - until they assigned the new room to someone else! They banged and yelled, and went away when I called the desk. Not a good experience.

    I would not recommend this hotel front desk. People are rude. The rooms are not that clean. The property is filthy. I did an early check-in and got to my room and there was no light in my bathroom area. I had to wait 45 minutes to get a lightbulb replaced. I’ll never stay here again.

    I like the fact that the Hotel was walking distance to and from the train station. What I didn't like was being told one thing to extend my stay over the phone and then a half an hour later told that the representative over the phone was not telling me the correct information and having to find emergency shelter because of it. The person at the front desk was unapologetic in her delivery and the entire trip to Fresno was a disaster thereafter. I don't know who's job it is to train the people on the phone or in charge of the people physically there at the hotel but both areas should be examined and focused on. There should be no discrepencies between associates within the main frame of the hotel and further if there happens to be an issue, the person who is in charge of letting the guests know that bad news is on the horizon, they should have a tone and graciousness about them because giving someone notice that what they were told was wrong, and that they will have to leave the room immediately, is devistatingly so wrong I will never stay at that hotel again. And it will be a long time before I can send anyone I know to that hotel, as a reference , I don't care how close it is to the train station. It was totally unacceptable and I hope there is some major training happening soon.

    After a long day of driving, we were met with a room door that barely functioned. The handle had to be jiggled and turned several times before it would open/close (not to mention the key card worked about 50% of the time). The toiled ran and I had to open the tank and help it along, and there were no bath towels. Luckily though, we had 4 trash cans.

    At one point, we were unable to open the door, which felt both frustrating and unsafe. On top of that, there were intoxicated guests running around the hotel with beers, creating a chaotic and uncomfortable environment. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and absence of staff support made this stay unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The bedroom was clean, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean The wifi was not very strong There were gates all around the property which made us feel as if we were in an "unsafe" area. ALSO, and the worst part was that there was a GIANT roach in the cup of coffee we got from the decaf "urn". Needless to say that was a HUGE turn-off. AND part of what anyone can control was that the nearby clientele were loud and vulgar.

    The rooms were disgusting. The first room we were in. We had to switch rooms because nothing was working at all the Phone the wi-Fi nothing so we switched to the second room and it was disgusting as well but everything worked it was dog food, and dog hairs everywhere it’s like a dog hotel. There’s dogs in every room people walking their dogs all around the hotel and I’m talking about huge dogs not little dogs and a lot of them. People had 2 or 3 dogs and under the bed was disgusting like nobody had mopped in months I pushed the bed to the side to find my ring and it was so dirty.

    The property itself was also in poor condition. The exterior looked dirty and run down. It’s a three story building and none of the elevators were working. We walked around the property trying to find one that worked and even found a transient person sleeping in one of the stairwells, which was concerning. Once we finally made it to our rooms, things didn’t improve. The rooms smelled strongly like over-washed carpets, and the carpets clearly weren’t very clean my kids’ white socks turned filthy just from walking on them. One room had a mini fridge while the other had no fridge at all. The walls are extremely thin. I could clearly hear our neighbor singing in the shower, and there was constant noise from the parking lot throughout the night. The only positive is that it’s close to downtown, but that’s about it. If you’re coming for the wrestling tournament, just be aware that this motel is pretty rough and there’s nothing particularly nice about it.

    I didn’t stay for breakfast I left before it started, the room is okay it wasn’t too bad because I’ve seen some worse. The AC didn’t get cold at all had it on the whole time and room did not cool down, shower was stained and honestly it needs a major repair as far as sockets. Our remote was broke the power button was broken off

Also was not happy that we paid for the room in full and then when checked in online the disclosure said that there will be a small fee. No where did it say it was going to be a $100 deposit. So i was really shocked when my card was charged that was not in my budget. Neddless to say we will not be staying at that hotel ever again.

    To start the parking lot was sketchy, then when we got to our room, we noticed our window was broken! There was clear tape placed over it, mind you this wasn’t a small crack in the window. Staff gave us another room with no problem. The following room was ok but it had a funky smell to it. The outside smelled awful like dog pee & there was poo one room over. This is very much the first and last time I stay here.

    I liked that the room we stayed in was big. Parking was great. The only thing I would say is there should be more sugar for the coffee in the room as we did not have any and the lobby wasn't open so I had to go to Starbucks down the street for coffee that's the only complaint. Easy check in.

    I arrived to the hotel and headed to the room while taking a shower the knob for hot water was leaking so bad and the shower head was really rough on the body. The tv kept pausing and unpausing out of no where. We were offered to switch rooms but decided not to take the offer due to arriving after a 33 hour drive. No one really wanted to move after being so tired. The next day the toilet wouldn’t even flush so I went to the front desk and they decided to switch my room and said they would compensate 50% off my first night and upgraded my room which I didnt ask for that and I never got my 50% off. The breakfast was limited and everyday the same thing was being served. The hotel itself is terrible and never will be staying here again. If you book a room at this hotel you’ll definitely regret it.

    Looks can be deceiving. I walked in my room feeling good and then noticed the dirty bathtub and hair on toilet. I had clorox wipes so I did my thang then went to the bed and noticed the cheap bedding, I slightly sunk into the bed, so I slept on other bed since I got me a double just incase the came up lol, they have cheap pillows as well. I wanted to clean everything before I touched it once I noticed the dirt. Seemed like someone was in there before i checked in which was rather late but still it was someones shoe prints in the tub that made me feel that way. I expected better from here since I did book it last minute and reviews smeed well, but I just needed a nights rest and I got exactly that. I missed the breakfast but when checking out it looked like a good amount of people. They all smeed to be enjoying it. I even noticed the wffle maker. Customer Service was well. Noticed the gym on sight too, didnt get to mess round but still smeed like a nice work out if did. Directly next to the Hotel is a IHOP in the next parking lot ♡.

    The room was so dirty I had to stay the night somewhere else. There were left behind items from the previous guest. No towels in the bathroom. countless things broken in the room. Including the remote for the TV and the telephone. The exterior of the property is just as bad.

    While checking in to this hotel the lady at the front desk was rude to customers. I asked for a luggage cart amd she told me the only 1 they have was broken. She was also taking personal phone calls while helping customers. The room looks dated and beat up. Shower needs to be updated with new fixtures and there were no bath towels in the room. Next time ill pay 70$ more and just stay at a holiday inn. Wont be staying here again.

    First the picture of the room on the site and the actual room are night and day. Very old dirty stained. Mattress had no protective cover. Very old fixtures and a low toilet. The outside areas were filthy and very unkept. Lots of homeless wandering around. We were very disappointed since it is a Wyndham property.

    The cleanliness was a concern. Stains on the carpet, tub, sheets, mattress, ceiling along with little mystery hairs. The staff at check in was not helpful. Upon arrival we had to wait outside for 10 mins for her to come and assist us, the keys didn’t work as the door was “dead”. It was just a hot mess, if it wasn’t so close to the hospital and out r loved one was let there I won’t not have stayed at all.

    front desk is so rude, booked 3 rooms one time, we just requested to give all the three rooms at one place, that would help us ,to get closer all three families, but staff said it is not possible, we did not know that even if we book all three rooms by one time, still not get it at the same place ( that is acceptable if the hotel rules are like that), but response is so rude while answering/responding to my questions

    after a long day of travel I arrived at the hotel around 12:00am. After a unnecessary long check-in process, I was given a room that I had to drive to. fine. I got in, the AC was broken and the telephone did not work. I trekked back to the front desk. Given a new key and a new room in a different part of the hotel. This time, the key didn't work. It's now 1:15am, I go back to the front desk, given a new key to yet another room. Thankfully the key, the AC and the telephone worked. There was quite a bit of hair on the vanity in the bathroom, staining in the shower/bathtub and markings on the comforters. It was a inconvenient evening, grateful I only had to bare with it for the night. I do have to travel back to the area again - I will be avoiding this property.

    Was horrible, dirty, nasty pee on the side of the toilet that looks like it has been there for probably over a month conditions of the whole hotel are running down to get ice was almost impossible. My car ended up peed and scratched the evening manager was rude.

    Upon arrival we weren’t greeted with friendly staff. We killed a cockroach on the bathroom sink within 30 seconds of walking into room 105. We were unable to lock the room as there was a washer jammed into the deadbolt. We were transferred to another room, but made due for the night. Upon checkout we were not asked , “how was your stay” , or “thanks for staying with us”

    I booked two rooms, for 4 days. The first day we arrived we noticed the tv remotes did not work. When we went to turn the lights on, the light blew out. We also had a lot of trouble with our keys to the room, each time we went to use to the key to get into the room, the key did not work. Which meant we now had to carry our 1 year old baby and 5 year old child back to the lobby so they can reset the key. It was very inconvenient. The front staff Maritza was understanding and stated she would refund us for our last night which was Sunday, due to us checking out Sunday morning because of the ongoing issues we were having.

    They did not tell us they were charging $100.00 deposit and in our 5 day stay they only cleaned our room once. We had to file a complaint with corporate to get it cleaned once. We had to clean our bathroom. We reported this to the hotel over and over again. Also, the photos don’t represent the property. It’s in the process of updating but is alittle run down and on edge of downtown so there is a significant homeless population around the hotel.

    Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Stay – Would Not Recommend I had one of the worst hotel experiences during my recent stay at La Quinta by Wyndham in Fresno. When we arrived, the outside temperature was a scorching 105°F, and unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room was broken. The thermostat was flashing an error message, and the room was unbearably hot. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk, only to be told that the staff member was working alone and couldn’t do anything about it. I asked to be moved to a different room, but was told the hotel was fully booked. Interestingly, when I checked online at that exact moment, it showed there was still at least one room available. Despite multiple requests, no one came to fix the AC, and no alternate arrangements were offered. My children were so overheated they couldn’t sleep and even started throwing up due to the extreme heat. It was a miserable and frankly unsafe environment, and the lack of response from hotel staff made it all the worse. This was not just poor service—it was a total failure in guest care and basic hospitality. We have stayed at many hotels over the years and have never experienced anything like this. I do not recommend this location and hope management seriously reconsiders how they handle guest concerns, especially in high-temperature conditions.

    I was given a room with dirty walls and holes in one of the curtains. When I asked to switch rooms I was told no other rooms were available. Housekeeping was sent to wipe the walls but the curtains were left as is.

    The first room we were given 338 had a super loud air conditioning unit and no microwave or fridge. The awesome night person at the front desk arranged for us to move to the room next door 340. That unit had a much quieter air conditioner and a fridge and microwave. We didn’t need the fridge and microwave, but it is odd that one room had them and one did not. The staff was great and breakfast had more options than I expected.

    The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot water came into the shower quickly and the breakfast was just right. There were all sorts of people in the dining room. Everyone was vey friendly. The pool was crystal clear and it was great to lounge on the pool deck.

    The property is in unsafe area, the staff was very nice and helpful, but the first room that was given to us they air condition did not work, and there was a lot of suspicious people walking around the hotel grounds. Loud guests. The clerk was very nice to us and moved us to a room with a working condition. The sheets were dirty in the bathroom. Need major update. This hotel should not be three stars. It should be only one star rating.

    The room is in terrible condition. Not just old, but badly maintained and dirty. Bad smell as you walk in, stains everywhere, walls, doors, even bedding. Hair fragments were found throughout the room even stuck on doors. Door Lock itself fails half the time. Just Old, Dirty and Smelly.

    stayed for 2 nights and it was the worst two nights of my life. The bed was like a rock! There was blood stains on the pillow. The sheets were yellowish and looked like they don’t wash them every visit. And floor had crumbs everywhere like they didn’t vacuum.

    Its a terrible spot in the city, the room smelled like cigarettes and the hotel just tried to mask it by spraying something that ultimately made it worse. The window curtains didn't close all the way, the deadbolt was weird and felt like that door was not closed at all. There was a homeless person who approached us while we were trying to check in at night, ultimately it felt unsafe and the room was not clean. I didnt even shower there becasue the tub was not cleaned properly and it was just not ok.

    When I checked in, there was no toilet paper or toiletries in the bathroom. Did not receive room service from Thursday night through my stay on Sunday morning. Asked for a wake up call did not get one. Just noisy and issues with the front door closing. The staff was really nice. That’s about the only positive there.

    The rom smelled good when we walked in and that was pretty much the only good thing about it. The bathroom smelled like mildew, the tiles were dirty, the floors were sticky. The mattress needs to be changed cause you can feel the springs and the beddings were stained and dirty. Thank goodness I saw it when we were leaving because if I would have seen it sooner, we wouldn’t have stayed. There was a cockroach walking on the light fixture. We only needed the place for sleep and shower. I am definitely not coming back.
