DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center

This hotel has everything: a bar, in house dining, and Starbucks. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bartender was great! Friendly, helpful, and just fun to be around. Hotel was centrally located to why we stayed there, easy access to highway for Sequoia National Park / Kings Canyon and airport. We didn't explore much in the area immediately around the hotel, we didn't feel comfortable nor did we see much to do. Parking seemed secure with security present. The only negative I have is room cleanliness. Bed was clean but high touch areas were not (doors needed wiped down, light switches, stools for propping feet). I moved the shower curtain back and there was about 6 make up remover pads???? That were black sitting on the tub edge. I didn't not feel very confident in the room cleanliness.

Great, easy to park EV. I would just be concerned that late arrivers may not be able to get a spot with only 3 chargers. We were lucky.

The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Not much noise pollution which is conducive to restful sleep. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. Free self-parking. Breakfast is not free, but if you sign-up for Hilton Honors, you and all in your party get a complimentary (very delicious) sit-down breakfast. Best of all, they give you a free cookie when you arrive and the same at departure. What a great unexpected treat! Makes me feel like a kid again. Great time had by all!!

Main hall smelled like bleach because of water feature. Super nice receptionist. Good dinner! CLean room with nice smelling amenities. All very practical and thoughtful. Not the best finishing job in the decoration, but can’t complain. Would definitely book again.

Me and my son stayed for a baseball tournament and it was a great experience. First the check in was extremely easy and we had PLENTY of room to park which to me is fantastic. Second, our room was very organized and we had an already setup TV, our beds smelled great, the bathroom overall was nice and slick. Our towels were nice and comfortable. We were able to pick our own room so my son can stay next to his friends and hangout. The pool was big and the hot tub was pretty hot. The staff were also respectful and housekeeping cleaning our room while we were at one of the games. Check out was easy. Great Hotel!!!!

We asked if we could get in the room a little early, and the front desk woman warned us that the only room available was right next to the elevator and vending machines and would be very noisy. I was so thankful she was honest about that, and we were happy to wait! The only downside to this hotel is the area. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is rough, and there are a lot of homeless people. However, they are clearly trying to solve this problem, because they have fences around the parking lot and security talking to every car that enters.

The bar was open and I was able to order a drink quickly and head to my room. I enjoyed my beer and unwound by watching Apple TV on my own account. I slept great. Worth the money. Tried to order room service in the morning but my call was not answered. It was ok. I went downstairs and grabbed a starbucks. All good

It was really nice a bit old school feeling but still very nice. We came to town for a comedy show and some of the celebrities actually stayed at the hotel. The cookies were delicious and warm. We didn’t get a chance to use our breakfast vouchers because we had to leave early.

Top tier. I would catch the train there once a month just to sleep. The restaurant was good with great price point.

Location to the convention center within walking distance. Security in the parking lot was a bonus. Starbucks in lobby.

Great customer service. Front staff was very accommodating. I had chosen a room thru the app, however after getting to the room, we realized that the ac unit was next to our room and too loud for our liking. Front staff immediately changed our room for us and made sure we were comfortable. Room was also very clean and organized. Highly recommended.

Expedia listed the property as pet friendly. This was WRONG!!!! Expedia made a terrible mistake and we were left without a place to stay. We took turns sleeping in the car with our dog as it was too late on New Year’s Eve to find another hotel and we had paid for the room here. Expedia owes me a full refund!!!

The reason I am writing a bad review is because the restaurant. Food was really good and the service wasn't bad except for when we clearly told our servers that my wife had a gluten allergy and we needed something for dinner that was gluten free and they still managed to bring food out that was not gluten free causing my wife to have an allergic reaction. This is absolutely unacceptable and could have dire consequences to somebody with a food allergy.

I ended up having to find last-minute lodging elsewhere late at night at additional personal cost. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and have never experienced this level of inflexibility or unprofessionalism. Travelers should be aware that this hotel may not honor prepaid reservations and the staff may not offer any support when issues arise.

We stay at Doubletree most times we visit cities that have them so we already expected a good experience. Very happy with the cleanliness oh the hotel. Great location. We test drove a jaguar that day since the dealership was next door. Overall, a very nice stay and another great experience with Doubletree.

Booked incorrectly with Expedia and Expedia was willing to make the date change by one day as I choose 25-26 and it should have been the 24-25. The manager at Double Tree refused the date change saying it was against company policy. When checking in for the second night with Expedia the hotel did not use the Expedia reservation and so I was charged for both nights from Expedia and Double Tree. I am a loyal customer of Fresno Double Tree but not any longer. Also, that last time I stayed there (5 weeks prior) Expedia charged my card and so did Double Tree. What made this last trip worse is that we were there for a funeral.

I did not appreciate that there was no water at all and we were not warned about the shut off. We had to be showered for the conference taking place there. We had to miss part of the conference to go shower since it was turned on after it had started.

The property is great! The area around the property is light industrial, dark at night and not well frequented by people.

Had some issues with my ac and fridge for the first time and I stay here regularly. Staff was on it immediately, offered a new room but I was happy to wait for a tech. Got it going ASAP! Only place I trust over night. The cookies they have are always so delicious too! 10/10 recommend. Great option for beer if you’re into it, right down the street from a great brewery!

Our stay was great. The pizza was nice however the nachos had no flavor and the guacamole had mold.

We had amazing time. Everybody was kind and helpful. Love the pool area, the bar area, and the view from the doorway.

it was ok not like the other hiltons security approached me asked if i lived therr i showed them my key and room number in the packet and they followed me up to the 7th floor and kept repeating its only because you look lost it was offly embarrasing and akward they watched me go to my room and i just didnt feel like hilton was the same there wasnt 24 hour meals and i checked out early if they did me like that theres no way they wouldnt do any girl i brought like that i really didnt even spend 4 hours there i rated 5 stars because I have company stock invested in hilton I didnt want my stock to go down but if anybody thats ever been to hilton is reading this, that one is called a different name like double tree for a reason its nothing like any of the other ones i even asked if there was anything to eat at night and there like call uber eats i did i ordered ralleys and the burger didnt come in my meal it was replaced by an apple pie i ordered a long island cost 15 dollars to add another shot would have made one drink 25 dollars i ordered one long island and wings it was 30 the wings hurt my stomach alot, this hilton is good to rack up hilton rewards points but if your looking for a nice treat family kinda regular hilton experience i would highly advise picking a different one

The room smells like mold. We have two kids one of them has breathing issues. Asked the front desk multiple times to either change our room or do something to take care of the smell but nothing was done. Stay away from this hotel!

We were a group of 10 staying for a graduation across the street. Super convenient. The rooms were clean and updated. Nice having a restaurant that was able to easily accommodate our large group, even for Mother’s Day breakfast. They even gave each of us mothers a giant muffin to go. Nice touch! None of us would hesitate to return.

I used the E key check in for the first time and it went very smooth. All we had to do is show our ID of the front desk. They gave us a couple of cookies and our room key and we were on our way. What I really love about the E key check-in was the ability to pick our own room. I love the Hilton. We are customers for life.

Great place to stay if you are in the Fresno area for an event or nearby Chukchansi park. Staff is great, were able to accommodate me and some friends to stay next to one another. The cookies are amazing that they provide after checking in. Staff is great, location is great and overall it is a recommendable place to stay!

This is a lovely, secure property. Clean and centrally located.

Doubletree always has great service and accommodations. The area was a little seedy.

Nice hotel with nice hot tup

The shower gave no hot water so cold showers. The AC in the room never turned off yet the room was hot. The staff is great however for the price the stay isn’t worth it

I have stayed at this hotel twice before and each time I got a fee breakfast, but not this stay because I booked through Expedia. I am disappoined!

Very old hotel and staff weren't friendly.

The staff is incredible at the front desk. The whole staff was kind the hotel was great. Perfect location if you need to walk downtown, this is a great hotel. My only gripe is that the shower was clogged however that was an easy fix. There’s nothing for me to complain about. Great products in the room for cleaning, shower body lotion, conditioner, more expensive than the cheap stuff you find in most hotels.

It's one of the only nice hotels in the area. It's definitely worth it! The inside is beautiful. The rooms are clean and decent sized
