The hotel is OK if you need to stay overnight, but definitely needs some touch and the breakfast needs more attention in the morning.

Breakfast was good, they had your usual scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, breakfast sausages or bacon, biscuits, white gravy w/sausage, bread, bagels, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and a waffle maker and juices. Rooms were clean and can accommodate up to 6 people if you get the family rooms. Beds/bathrooms were clean. There was plenty of parking on the property, front and back but the parking room were kinda tight squeeze if you have a big car.

Everything was great but the double beds were not comfortable for a family of five even though there was a pull out bed but no one wanted to use

I was disipointed that they did not have a lugage rack for our suitcases, wasn't very keen on the carpet. Ceiling height of the room was good and was dissipointed that the two bed version were only full or double size beds.

The location is close for working downtown, and it is close to nice areas for dining. The room has a lot of room and is clean. I've stayed before and retuned because I thought it was good. Last time I was on the third floor. This time second floor. You avoid a lot of foot thumping noise by being upstairs. I suggest asking for it. My bathroom door (room 205) was poorly hung and would flop open and crash into the front door. Then it would be hanging open blocking the front door. Seems like that would be obvious to anyone caring for the room and needs to be fixed. No one wants to make a maintenance call when using a room. I did not call because I had a lot of work to do and didn't want the interference.

Have stayed many times at this property. Good location, several eat options nearby. If on W Hendron side you may hear the traffic in the background, but won’t disturbe your sleep.

I was a little sketchy when I first pulled up but the minute I walk in I knew I made a good choice! Staff were very welcoming when checking in and out! Great spot for a family to stay. Just down the street less than 5 minutes they have an outdoor mall.

When I went to check in, there was a gentleman there who wanted to stay there paying cash they asked him to put a deposit down and he was so obnoxious, rude, and I would say very demanding and not respectful to the woman whatsoever. The woman checking me in, was very courteous more patient than I would be, and did her job very well. She apologized profusely and she did not at all need to. I enjoyed my stay very much we live in a neighboring town and my husband was having surgery the next morning early so found it very convenient to stay in Fresno rather than wake up two hours early to drive up 45 minutes.. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious..

This was the second time we stayed here and the first time was wonderful but this time I was much less impressed and our room wasn’t cleaned well.

I was there because my Mom was in the hospital close by it it was great to get to wash my clothes . Also the breakfast hot food was real food .

We usually have a good experience with this hotel and stay when visiting family. Good continental breakfast, coffee availability, comfortable, safe accommodations. This time our room disappointed us. There was animal urine smell and warping on closed doors near carpet. We had to keep window open and fan on to try to get the smell out.

The gentleman at the front desk was super kind and he had prepared our room keys ahead of time which made check-in super easy! Lovely rooms and nice atmosphere. The Colorado Grill next door was close and the best hamburger I've ever had..

Comfortable and spacious room. Calling the area "River Park" isn’t very accurate, as it is some distance to the north Fresno highly regarded shopping area, but it's true it is closer to River Park than the vast majority of Fresno hotels. The bed was great for a good long sleep.

Check-in was really quick and easy, but it is important for the desk clerk to remember to tell guests about the wi-fi. Room was clean and spacious. Security on site in the parking area at night. I felt quite comfortable and safe. A/c worked great as did heat. It was quiet and in a convenient location to my doctor's office

We arrived about 11p and the front desk person was very nice and helpful. We did not get our bags from the airlines so we asked if they could let us know when our bags were delivered. Since our bags did not arrive till about 3:30p the next day, the shift had changed but the person on the new shift was notified about our bags so we were happy that the information was passed on. Very happy with the staff and the room. I was also happy that the parking lot was very well lit during the night, it made us feel safer

Not easy to find the hotel, hidden off frontage road. Tall fence all around the hotel, parking limited, kind of a scary area. Front Desk check in/out staff were amazing, sweet, nice and courteous. Breakfast was fine, just enough items to get one going for the day.

The room is like a mini suite. Love it, the beds are comfortable rarely do I find a hotels beds, comfy. Really impressed. Was t the original hotel I thought we were going to stay at but I’m very happy with it. Check in was smooth, and the guy at the desk was really nice. Will stay here in the future, as we are buying a new home near by. So we are coming to visit frequently.

I had a great stay at the Comfort Suite Fresno River Park. The staff were so friendly and helpful in accommodating our event boxes in their store room. The whole staff were excellent and even brought us more fresh towels on our second day. An excellent stay in a very clean and safe facility.

Everything when great. Wish the beds were queens not Doubles. Was a little tight for 2 with no stretching space.

The hotel was okay because we spent most of the day time at the national parks. We were disappointed that they did not alternate their breakfast. They served the same items each day. It would have been better if they changed out their protein (breakfast sausage everyday!!!)

Was a bit upset about 2 things, 1 no pool (a must when traveling with kids) and 2, double beds. These were booking mistakes on my end though. O just learned too that double beds does not mean queen double beds. It’s full size beds. But aside from that, we had a restful night, breakfast was great, all the staff was friendly and sweet. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was nicely kept up as well as the inside with friendly staff. The surrounding area had unhoused people walking about the area and made it seem unsafe to walk. Other then that we had no issues and the jolted and area was quiet.

Bed was very comfortable, shower had solid pressure and very hot water. Aesthetic holes/stains/repairs in the room & bathroom need fixing but was nothing of major concern. The worst part was that all of the room doors to every room are so heavy, they all slam shut. Which made my stay the opposite of restful -being jolted awake everytime someone came & went. Sadly, I can't expect others to be considerate.

The property is conveniently located right behind a Costco Wholesale and Gas location. There is also shopping within walkable distance, and plenty of dining options around.

The chair in the room seemed old and rickety. Hotel seemed like it was going through renovations in the lobby. Only problems I had.

During our stay, we encountered a frustrating situation with our car, which needed to be shipped home. The constant changes in the pickup schedule were incredibly stressful. Patrick went above and beyond by allowing us to stay until 4 pm, something we've never experienced at other hotels. Pete was also incredibly helpful and friendly, as were all the other staff members, each offering a warm welcome. Beyond the exceptional service, the hotel boasts a lovely lobby with a pleasant ambiance and a spotless environment. An added bonus is its convenient location right next to Costco. Overall, we are absolutely delighted with this hotel and extend our sincere gratitude to the owner for creating an environment where guests truly feel at home. Without a doubt, it deserves a 5-star rating!

This was a no‐fuss hotel experience. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The location was great for what I needed. The eggs were cold but there was a micro 5 feet away, so no worries.

Now property review. We had kids ages 10- infant with us and appreciated that the room was clean & it was very quiet both inside and outside. They were renovating the main lobby but it wasn’t an issue for us because we only came during the night to sleep and were gone by morning. They provide breakfast and coffee but we didn’t dine there. Check out was easy. I will note that there were some homeless around the area but not by the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again!

Staff was amazing! Really loved their breakfast so much! The guy who checked me in and my family i think it was pete or peter he was really great!

The hotel was clean and the employees were friendly. The ceiling was thin as I could hear people’s footsteps. Other than that the room was clean and roomy.

The staff was excellent! There was an issue with my HVAC and they dealt with quickly and were very sensitive to taking care of me.

The room was wonderful. Everything worked as it should. There was plenty of light and charging outlets. The sofa area was comfortable and the extra space was enjoyed. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was great! Except, 1pm resetting of WiFi so anything you have set with tv, gets erased. Start all over. Yes, it takes a lot of wasted time:(. Also, my first experience where my card to enter my suite, didn't work! No phone to desk available, I had to continuously go to front desk for them to reset my key card each day( really bad ). Completely inconvenient and since it was during Christmas trip, my arms full, had to keep carrying my stuff up & down the elevator ride. Breakfast great, if you go down early. I did and enjoyed it.

The manager is courteous and respectful. I've stayed here before I know who he is. He treats all the customers with respect and dignity. This is my number one place. He is a nice person. Neatly kept hotel everything's in order and everything looks beautiful

The surrounding area is not the best, but the hotel is tucked away off the main road so the location feels safe. Definitely not a walkable area; you would need a car if you need to get food or go to the store. Lots of stores and restaurants along Blackstone Ave. Normally we stay in Clovis when we have to come to town, but if you need to be closer to Fresno, this is a great spot and I would stay here again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Like the look of the rooms, modern but homey feeling not sterile.

Only I do have a minor warning. The beds are advertised as 2 “queen” beds…which should accomodate 2 “people”, but I feel its more of a full-size bed. So if u planning on using them for 2…make sure they are for 2 children insted.
