Great rooms, everything was cleaned. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of everything. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean facility. Conveniently located near the freeway and some restaurants that are open late at night. Quiet area. The parking fee is ridiculous. Your hotel room prices are already higher than other hotels and on top of that you hold your guests hostages with mandatory parking fee of $12 a day. That's shameful. I would NOT stay here again during my next visit. In addition, the staff is so BLAH. Not greetings. No smiles. Just direct talk and they hush you away. Great new facility. Terrible staff.

It was my first time here and I'm really happy with the stay. The suite was very clean with plenty of space. Good breakfast, too. The gym has a lot of cardio options, but the weights area is a bit cramped—fine for a light session, though.

I have an issue with my charges as we had a change in travel plans and needed to check out of the hotel a couple of days earlier than anticipated. I am still waiting for the charges to be cleared up. Hopefully they will be

Everything was very clean. The room was very spacious and it didn’t feel cramped for 3 people.

Overall stay was good, however, there were pretzels below our beds from previous visitors.

We had a room with 2 king beds and a couch that was as big as a twin size and a pull out trundle. The room had a nice big walk-in closet and the bathroom was huge! The room was very clean and very updated. It was nice that the kids had their own tv and the adults had theirs as well. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash that smells amazing. The staff was super friendly and very helpful and check in was so quick and simple. The pool was supposed to be heated but unfortunately the heater was down but that didn’t stop the kids from swimming in it one bit, it was so nice. The buffet options for breakfast varied each day and were delicious and full of protein and lots of nutrients. We had asked for more towels and more bedding and they were quick to bring it to us as well. Overall this was a great place to stay that is conveniently located and clean and well kept up on. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Room layout was perfect for our 5 member family Parking was paid. This seemed totally unnecessary given there was so much room for parking and it was not like downtown San Fran where traffic volume is so high that it needs to be rationed.

Bottled water should be made available in each room instead of a water filler in the lobby. And the allotment of one toilet paper roll per day is a bit stringent. And the room should have a closet safe for valuable belongings and a full length mirror.

I asked the front desk to change the sheets and clean the room while we were out, and they said it would be taken care of. When we came back, nothing had been done. The front desk then told us there was no one available to assist and asked us to change the sheets ourselves. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, broken AC, and poor service made this a very disappointing stay.

Wonderful people

This hotel was quite nice. The breakfast was great, especially the little jalapeño cheddar muffins! Everyone from the breakfast staff to the housekeeping was super sweet. The only thing I would knock was the AC. Sometimes it would shut off at night and I had to turn on because it was too warm in the room. Other than that my stay was great. I appreciated the reasonable parking charge compared to downtown SF.

Was a nice hotel but had to be in the room with no internet or TV all of it was down

It’s clean due to it being a newer hotel and the location has easy access to the freeway. The tv and WiFi did not work at all during our stay. We contacted the front desk staff about it and they said there was nothing they could do. They told us that if we wanted to watch tv we can come downstairs to the lounge and watch it. Also there were lights in the room that flashed and stayed on all night which was really annoying.

Not enough food, fruits looked old, crowded, they should make a bigger space for the food. People were bumping into each other while getting food. Service, staff at front desk and the bad experience of seeing a snake in my room.

I usually like staying at SpringHill suites and normally have no issues. The breakfast really lacks at all springhills I been to. I like that it’s quiet. Easy check in. I did have issues with the tv connection and the room could have been a bit cleaner. There was also an ant issue that was annoying.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean. Spring Hill is by far the best hotel stay. It's pretty much home away from home. I have been to the San Jose airport location. San Jose Fremont is great as well. Free parking and breakfast is so good.

The stay here was amazing. The beds were so comfortable as well as pillows. The room was clean and very roomy for my family. The bathroom was huge and very clean. We loved that the room had two tv’s one for my littles and one for my husband and I. We also loved the fact that check out was at 12, so we were not rushed and we slept in, all of us. Breakfast was provided and it was great and everything was very clean. This stay was awesome, would recommend and stay here again.

Parking space

Our trip was 1,500 miles by car, round trip, to visit Winchester House in San Jose. We paid $300 for two nights at Springhill Suites in Fremont, myself and my three 20-something sons. We swam in the pool both nights, we enjoyed the breakfast both mornings, we slept well, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable.

Cons: Pillows were too soft, TV channels did not work the second day, no enough hooks in the bathroom, bathroom door was translucent (not good if you are with friends as it is right in front of the bed), lobby was small and very noisy, one elevator was not working so it too ages to arrive, A/C (fan) went off at 4:30am and did not come back until 6:30am so room was very hot, also friends said their room was not cleaned after a day despite several requests.

Nice hotel, clean. 1 of the elevators did not work, bad water pressure, breakfast was mediocre. You Definitely get what you pay for and you have to pay for parking. The housekeepers were amazing though!

Location is great. The building is new and breakfast is quite nice (it even slightly varies day over day in 3 day periods altogether). 1. The room is poorly designed. The bathroom door is a glass door. Meaning if there is any light in there - the whole room is illuminated. There are no night lights either. So tough luck finding anything there with kids sleeping. Oh, it also is right against the bed, so anybody else sleeping there will get the most of the unwanted light. 2. The service was really unstable. One day there is no soap and "we will only get it next Monday". The next afternoon the soap is available when asked for on the reception. One day extra towels are available if I call, another day they are only available at the reception. Then another day they were supposed to be available when I asked at the reception, but should be brought in - and were not. Then we got like 3 extra bags of towels.

We will definitely be back.

First time visiting this location in Fremont. they put me in the wrong room it wasn’t the one I’ve booked at all. Dissatisfied I should get the room I’ve payed for. But I was in a rush already i visited the city because of my first time concert that I was attending so most of the day I wasn’t even in the room. they do charge you $25 for early check in that’s the first time I’ve heard Marriott hotel does that I was surprised. The only thing that’s listed is $10 parking fee. I’m not sure if I’m going to be staying/booking with Marriott anymore after this visit. Or recommend it to my family and friends either.

It's alright. Check-in was great and the breakfast was nice. This is the first time I've been to a hotel that runs out of hand soap though. Our AC unit was also extremely loud, so we didn't run it at night which made the room stuffy. I will be letting the staff know about that so they can get it fixed for the next guests who stay in this room. Oh, and the entrance to the parking lot was not done well. It scrapped the bottom of my mini van, which I am not happy about.

New hotel with big well layed out room. Problem/complaint, the bathroom sync is the smallest I've ever seen, seriously looks like it came out of a pre-school bathroom. Throwing off the whole experience, just weird.

They marketed the room can sleep for 4, but the bathroom can only use by 1 person at a time. They should add a door for the toilet, so 2-3 person can use the bathroom at the same time.

Overall it was a nice stay, but house keeping needs lots of improvements.

This property is clean and really good. Hence rated as high rating. There are a few things that hotel designers need to keep in mind. Sinks need to be bigger in hotels and they should be such water can flow into it, not stick out, when it is a full bath, a mirror outside is really helpful and bathrooms need exhaust for obvious reasons, no brainer there. Property is new and is clean, but the above minute details taken care of for long life of property and upkeep.

Booked a 2 king bed suite for 2 nights. Room was very nice nice. TV connection was poor. Front desk offered to switch rooms but we didn’t want to go through the hassle of packing / unpacking. Water pressure was low in shower. Not the world’s biggest problem for sure but expected better. Breakfast was mediocre. Overall I would stay again and give them another chance.

Room was spacious and well decorated, but it was dirty. Fitted sheets on one of the bed were inside out and top sheet upside down. Candy wrappers and food on the floor, clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. Obvious dirty handprints on the glass bathroom door and on the headboards. We booked through hotels.com and they did not fix the problem, and it was too late at night to change rooms (kids fell asleep as soon as we arrived). Expected more from a nicer hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel looks and feels new. Very clean. Spacious, we booked the room with 2 king beds and sofa bed. The room temperature is perfect. The beds are comfortable. The closet is a mini walk in closet. The bathroom is spacious and the bathroom door has a lock for privacy. Outdoor heated pool is great. It is near to a freeway but not close enough that you can hear the cars. It also near to shopping, dining and movie theater. Breakfast is included with very good selection of food. Parking is very reasonably priced. It’s 10/10.

We decided to leave and returned later at the standard check-in time. The same staff member checked us in with no professionalism. While we waited, we noticed she offered water to the client ahead of us but didn’t extend the same courtesy to us. It felt like we were treated inconsistently and with a lack of basic hospitality. I expected better service and professionalism from this hotel. This experience really put a damper on our stay.

We were in town to visit a sick relative. This hotel was about 6 miles from the facility and absolutely stunning. The King sized beds were actually king size & not the typical hotel king which is usually a queen. The staff was awesome and accommodating with our special requests for medically necessary things.

Check in took a while, and the persons behind the counter were not that personable, but the room was clean and newly built. Breakfast was pretty basic - and self-serve, but better than nothing. They said they had 24 hour coffee, but sometimes it was cold and not fresh. It was ok, but nothing to get excited about.

This was a clean, modern hotel in a safe area. I was disappointed that there was not a bar/lounge. My husband and I were wanting to grab a drink but it seemed to have limited hours. Otherwise, great stay!

Love the rooms. Bed is comfy & like there’s a couch to sit & relax. The bathroom sink is like a mini sink so a bit difficult to wash your face. Very unsure why it’s so small because the bathroom is huge. Poor planning.
