    This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. Many things were dated and in need of maintenance. This is a five story hotel but the elevator is unreliable. My family got stuck inside after checking in and going out to dinner. The firefighters had to come rescue us after the staff was unable to reset the elevator and get the doors opened. We checked out and to their credit satisfied my request for a refund. I’m thankful for the girl at the front desk for being responsive to my calls from inside the elevator and keeping me and my family updated while we waited for help.

    Room was was properly stocked. Missing ironing board . Some lamps didn’t go on. They should have usb chargers most places have them in room now. Saw a huge bug in bathroom on lobby .Breakfast was good but they didn’t keep up with demand of food needed That is one of te reasons I go to La Quinta. Other than that it was fine.

    Just don’t book it, more than half the time you have to fight to open the door because the old lock mechanism doesn’t work (our next door neighbours each hall too) dirty af and old and broken, and staff just hate their job there. Breakfast is cold and gross, a convenient store is better. Save the stress

    Cockroaches, family of three. When we arrive, the king size bed had four tiny travel, airplane sized pillows, the pullout couch our child was meant to sleep on. I had absolutely no bedding. This means no pillows no blankets. She had to sleep with a sheet and clean clothes for a pillow. We went back four times and they never had any pillows or extra blankets.There was no amenities no toilet paper no tissue no shampoo or conditioner lol and literally one towel… the room smelled like pee do you have asthma? Breathing is awful. When I asked them to fill the shampoo and conditioner, they have the audacity to give me one sample size shampoo, one conditioner, one towel for makeup, remove remover, and one bar of soap lol remind you we have three people two grown-ups and a 13-year-old geez. There was literally hair in the bed and the last day we found cockroaches that’s when I finally was like I need to say something now on a review let me continue rewind upon checking in they were two hours behind sunny and a large female were very rude and shouldn’t be doing customer service. They forgot to give me my parking pass as well. I asked to speak to your manager, but they said Nothing could be done because I booked through a third-party even though I’ve purchased insurance with the hotel so I hope this helps somebody I don’t ever complain much but I had to hear this was ridiculous. Don’t come here. I wouldn’t bring my pet either.

    Because the bugs kept crawling on me, I couldn’t sleep. We showered, packed our belongings, and checked out early at 6:00 a.m., then searched for a laundromat because the hotel’s machines were dirty and did not accept quarters. I request a full refund and immediate corrective action -- the entire hotel is unsanitary, not just our room, and this must be addressed promptly.

    staff at front desk are very nice. house keeping not cleaning rooms thoroughly. Appliances not being wiped and floor carpets are very dirty. Never been carpet cleaned for years from what it looks like. Lots of pets hair dander, urine smell, poop stains on the floor. Friendly reminder, bathroom faucets always leaking even if reported to front desk a few times.

    Location and access Not clean, carpets are all soiled, staff are not friendly, poor support from Maintenance. My door was locked inwards and had to wait more than 45 mts. Still maintenance did not come. Only the front desk girl was available and no help from anyone. Breakfast is not coordinated well. Poor service as well. We stayed 2 days and the room service was never done and the toilets were not cleaned. Not recommended for stay.

    The morning staff was great It had roaches and the guy(stocky Latino) on the evening staff was not helpful, very lazy, and didn’t care. He said the manager was too busy to contact me(2 weeks). I got nothing. I’ve stayed there several times over the years with all good experiences. Until this year on 3 separate occasions I was put in roach infested rooms with not a word from management

    If you’re booking to take a bath don’t even bother! They have no tub stoppers so your tub won’t be able to fill up, the tv remotes didn’t work, repeat breakfast, swimming pool is dirty & not heated, the doors to the hotel don’t key code lock, they stay opened/unlocked or even propped open all night long! Definitely not a safe space or clean space. I also was charged a smoking fee even though I haven’t taken a smoke since last year! Absolutely insane. Definitely don’t stay here there are better hotels

    There is paid parking at a motel, can you believe it! Also, the carpets were musty and dusty, the elevator was 30 years too old. The decor was straight out of the 1970s. The keycard for the doors would reset after every use and need to be set to the room by the staff. Lights in the room did not function. There was a box of condoms in the cabinet. There were living cockroaches in the washroom too. The breakfast was pain inducing and barely edible.

    I went back to the front desk and informed the staff that the room was occupied. The male clerk asked if the room was not made up? I replied that it was occupied. Her stated that it should not be. He and the female clerk began checking a printout sheet and the computer and asked me to have a seat. After 10 mins, they said they found a room and it was Room 325. The male clerk escorted me to the room, which was far from the elevator. I asked if I could change rooms the next day and was assured that I could. The following day, Friday, 24 April, I asked to be moved to another room that was disabled accessible or nearer the elevator. He asked if I was extending my stay. I replied that I had reservations through Sunday. He said, "No, we are all booked up." Later that evening, I found the motel was not full and observed someone check in that did not have a reservation. On top of that, the bathroom was not clean.

    The room wasnt ready when we got there, even though it was a couple hours after check in time. When we got in the room, there were nasty stains on the carpet and hallway. There was also mold in the bathroom. The tv remote didnt work. The elevator didnt work for a full day. There was no hot breakfast either morning we were there. There was garbage left in the hallway for 2 days. It was one disappointment after another.

    I requested and paid for a room for 4 people, the room had a king suze bed and a 2 seater sofa that wiukdnt fit 2 people , very unconfortable . Had only 2 towels , which i complained to the frint desk and never git other towels , so i dropped off my daughter and grandson at fruends house so they coukd be mire comfortable.

    It says no smoking but you can smell weed in the halls. It is definitely pet friendly but I guess the person left the dog alone or something because the dog didn’t stop barking for over an hour. The elevator door shakes when opening or closing and the elevator feels scary to ride in. The breakfast was not that great and didn’t smell great either.

    This hotel does not let you check in early even though I called and the staff gave me the indication that I could check in early. When I got to the hotel they went back on their word and forced me to pay an early check-in fee in order to check in early. Overall summary, this hotel does not honor its words with their guest. They don't manage their rooms. If you call in after 6 pm, there is no technician around to service any rooms and you will have to wait until the next day to get service so if you're only staying there for one night then you are totally screwed. I used to hold La Quinta Inn with high regard but after this experience - never again.

    I am a Wyndham time share owner and Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with property, this building is old, in need of serious upgrades, sinks back up, bathtubs water doesn’t shut off (waste of water) carpet is filthy and the cleaning of the rooms is lacking, found Taco Bell packaging behind bed, pleas revisit breakfast options for Silicon Valley better choices should’ve offered.

    First I requested to be on the first floor with Service dog when I arrived I got the fifth floor and the room. The toilet was totally taken apart. The bed didn’t have bedspreads one was missing pillows. It was filthy so I had to go all the way back down the front desk then they gave me a room on the third floor. They said that nothing on the first and every day we were there the elevator didn’t work so we had to log our stuff up and down the stairs, it was dirty. It was smelly and when somebody tells you they’re bringing a service dog and need the first floor, they should be prepared to accommodate you. I will never stay there again. I’m even disappointed that Hotels.com allows them to advertise on your site.

    Parking was very limited, lots of trucks parked at the front instead of the back. No disabled people rooms. Room smlled funny like someone vaped. Carpet was very dirty and stained. No eggs or meat for breakfast. No fruit. No housekeeping performed on the third day; not even clean towels wete provided. Elevators were broken down. No hand soap on cafe restroom. Lots of garbage left behind on halls and linens. Laundry broken and not working properly. No on site manager. Limited front desk staff in the evening. Slippery bathroom. Difficult to access the building only at the front. Pool area was closed with no explanation cannot use spa.Fire drill intrrrupted day activites, no hearing protection provided.

    There breakfast. Water and mini muffins on top of a microwave. No fridge no microwave No pool no hot tub No elevator on our side of the hotel that worked No gym No palm trees Not that pictured hotel/pool. Clearly not the interior. Hall way- stench so strong you have to cover your face to your room each way reeks of rotting trash Trash up and down all hallways Old not updated very creeky elevator as noted in photos The room itself: Requested handi capped and was placed on second floor. Room had visible rust falling from the hand rails in bathroom as well as a shelf hanging off of the wall noted in photos. Dozens of visible wires lined the walls noted in photos unlike the stock photos provided in the Expedia website Neighbors doors loud slamming all night the single night i did sleep in the room along with no room service avaiable for towells when the shower curtain was too short to protect the floor from getting wet. I was left to air dry. Overall I would rate the staff a 4/5 due to some minor communication issues however their overall demeanor was appropriately distributed in the hotel to its guests. The hotel itself is a 1 star motel. Not hotel. It did not include any commentaries such as hand soap for in the bathroom or washcloths or other simple comforts hotels have to ensure the comfort of its guests. I think I would have been more comfortable at most neighboring hotels and was very pleased at the Hilton blocks away for the remaining two nights of my stay in Santa Clara.

    the room we stayed in had a stained comforter (probably blood stains.) i brought it up to the manager and was just given another comforter, instead of having the blanket replaced. in addition, the bathtub had rust stains from the handicap rail in the shower, and other stains i’m not exactly sure what they are. we were told breakfast began at 7am (on sunday), but we had to wait until 7:20 because it wasn’t finished being prepared. the staff member in charge of breakfast was rude to me and my sister as well. we (obviously) weren’t aware breakfast hadn’t began yet, and started utilizing the waffle machine, only to have the staff member tell us rudely, “i’m not done making breakfast yet, jesus christ.” i usually stay at la quinta, but this particular one was not it. definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

    The 1 bedroom suite with a pull out sofa in sitting area, is listed as sleeps 4. Unfortunately the pull out couch could not even sleep 1. Metal bars running across all three sections making it impossible to sleep. My husband is in town for medical treatment, which requires this type of sleeping arrangement for 2 adult guests. The room smelled of dog urine, multiple stains in sitting area (room 331) the side exit door that had a sign that said it was locked 24/7, use room key, was not locked ever. Lock non functioning. The front desk staff was very nice, and the lobby and breakfast area was well stocked and clean.

    The room was in OK condition. The bed was done. Everything was clean with the exception that the restroom was not wiped down and trash from previous guest was not thrown.     No hot water But … The biggest problem is that my truck was broken into and several valuables were stolen. I've always been a good customer of the Quinta Inn, but I'll think twice about returning, especially to that area.

    The “Continental” breakfast is anything but continental. It was just toast, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt cups, Cheerios, oat meal, coffee and water. Yes it’s a variety but all carbs and yes I am grateful we had that option if it was needed. They never room serviced our room in the 5 days we were there. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper everyday. Also no warm blankets. The bathroom had mold in tub and sink. The elevator was broken AGAIN just and I use a walker so it was dreadful!!! They did fix it the next day…yay! The staff was nice but looked unhappy. They did semi-decorate for holidays which can make some of us happy to see that. They price is good for the California Silicon Valley but it does not measure up to some of reviews. I have stayed there twice now and price and safety was good. I did not enjoy the fact we had to pay for parking if we were already told in hotels.com there was free parking. The amenities not the greatest but at least it’s an option. Would I stay there again? Yes!!! Due to price, safety and location.

    The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. I like their continental breakfast a lot. The hot waffles really hit the spot. Very reasonable nightly rate. Got a lot of bang for my buck. Overall, my family and I had a pleasant experience staying there at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fremont/Silicon Valley, CA. Thank you so much for taking good care of me and my family.

    The bathtub was not draining water and it’s very uncomfortable to change room when you kids tired and sleeping and you unpacked your bags. Also we traveled with other friends and they reported bathroom sinks not draining water too.

    The body wash bottle dispenser in the shower was empty. When I informed the lobby staff about it, they just gave me soap packets instead of having somebody refill it. The ice dispenser and vending machine was relocated from the second floor to the ground first floor but the information signs on the second and third floor did not update this information. It was still a decent experience staying here for the price but the minor annoyance is the reason for the drop from a potential 5 stars rating to a middle of the pack 3 stars review.

    Stayed here in the past and tried it again, the quality has gone down. Hotel was dirty and showing wear and tear, rooms dirty, breakfast was "cleaned out" by other guests with no items left or very limited selection. It requires more attention to cleaning and upgrades. For the cost I would not stay here again.

    The property was not very well maintained. The carpets throughout the hotel were extremely dirty, as if they have not been cleaned in years. There was times where you can smell weed throughout the hotel. The key cards constantly needed to be re assigned as they would constantly not work for the hotel room door. The breakfast was ok, just cereal, breads, and waffle maker. If you are looking for a very basic cost effective stay this isn’t a bad choice, but just be prepared that it is far from being a great stay.

    I don’t even know how they can give any stars to this place or how are they still allowed to rent out rooms. First of all I had called before to request adjoining rooms with my pregnant daughter and granddaughter who came down from Germany. This already should tell you all she wanted to was take warm shower , eat and relax after a 11+ flight with a toddler & being pregnant. Upon checking in I ask about the adjoining room kid at the front says they don’t have any!??? Ummm the girl at the front desk most certainly said they do & to just requested upon reserving the room. So I said fine something next to her please plus I am ADA already so I needed and expected accommodation. He gives my daughter her keys she’s room #407 or 408, he gives me my key it’s room 425!!! I didn’t say anything we go to her room this room looks outdated and dirty. I go to the bathroom because I needed to use it first thing I see upon turning on the lights is a cockroach crawling on the toilet paper!! I freaked out told her I’m not sure if it was a bed bug or cockroach. My 5 y.o. Swapped at it so u could not take a picture of it. I run to the beds to check mattresses the beds skirts are stained all around , sheets have traces of hair 😫. She calls the front desk she is told they would change the room ( I just wanted to not stay at all!!!) so we go check my room which is all the way to the far end of the hall, we open the doorand right away get a whiff of a nasty smell STALE ANIMAL PEE and cigarette

    Breakfast was extremely limited. Front desk service bordered on unfriendly. No eye contact was made with me and no words of welcome on arrival or thanks upon departure. The tissue box in the bathroom was missing. I had to call front desk and ask for one to brought to me. I bottle of water cost $6, whereas when I stay at the Marriott Courtyard, water bottles are provided in the room and additional ones are provided at no cost. I also was told I had to pay for parking. The carpets in the hallways and room were littered with small bits of debris, and contained multitudes of stains. I would never rebook a stay at La Quinta. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable.

    The room was a nice size but not very clean; the couch in the suite had a few stains, the sheets had a small stain and when we requested additional towels they left them on a pile on the floor outside our front door.     The outdoor pool was very dirty. The spa was out of order, which was not properly disclosed at the time of booking. We booked the (rather expensive) motel mainly because of the pool and spa for the kids. We arrived at 1am, and all parking spots were taken (some trucks/trailers were parked horizontally). The receptionist shrugged off all responsibility. There is no nearby outdoor parking.

    Another family there , upset that the AC in thier room didn't work, was told that they could just "open a window" He grudgingly gave them a new room after stating "I don't know what you want me to do. I guess I could give you another room" The hotel has dirty stained carpets, an elevator that sticks and sporadically works. Despite our previous stays at other Wyndham hotels we will likely not being using this chain again.

    Place is dated. Needs a update. Walked into the room found a bottle cap on the ground. The light switch turned on all the light one wanted on one of turned off the switch it turned a the plugs off and couldn't have just a lamp on. Mold in the bathroom no hair dryer. A lot of damage the the the furniture like a big hole on the chair and to fix it all they did was flip it which showed the zipper that's how I found the hole. Everything was just dated.

    To be honest, I did not like how the person in the front desk treated us. He treated us like we were criminals. He didn’t want to take our money or deposit until 12 3012 almost almost close to nine 1 o’clock almost time where I was gonna be like you know no-show. We had to wait in the lobby for a very long time and then in the morning they they were new people so the lady or the girl in the front was pretty nice.     The food was standard and the bed was comfortable. Overall the room wasn't horrible it just needed work.The carpet desperately needed to be cleaned in the room and in the hotel hallway. It was just unmaintained, holes where patched but not painted, plaster in the ceiling falling off, parts of the bathroom handles literally falling off. All of these things were not major but they added up and became noticable.

    Worst hotel we’ve stayed in ever, the key cards were not working, we had to change rooms multiple time because it was so hard to breathe in them, almost all the sheets were stained, the pillows felt like rocks, the shower heads were rusted, the tubs were filthy and to top it all off we found a dried up puddle of blood behind the couch with dead roaches. The staff needs to actually look in rooms before the let people sleep in them because these rooms were extremely neglected and dirty. Absolutely disgusting!

    We had a good stay, only downfall was we were next to a family with a child who would try to open the joining door to our room.     Old place, bathrooms and carpets are dirty and not maintained or upgraded, dint see any improvements in the last few months. Average place to stay.

    When we first got the first room, they put us in after I had paid for an upgrade of a deluxe king with a sweet. I thought that’s everything I was getting. They walked me up to a double twin which the floor was wet the whole carpet so we had to go to a different room on a different floor. My room key had to be reset over 10 times the two days I was there I was locked out of my room numerous times I had to continuously reset my key and they did not offer room service or give me clean towels or anything unless I went down and asked for it. I had no service whatsoever

    We arrived and checked in, went to our room when turn the ac on it smelt like cat pee. Call down and they offered to change us rooms went and grab the key and the second room wasn’t as nice as the first room it was as small as a motel 6 room. I went down and complained and got no resolution from the front desk and was just given a email to complain to the manager. The continental breakfast had very limited options no juice nothing to drink basically the first day, very basic breakfast. The pool was cold and dirty the hot tub was broken.

    Was great for the price. The pool did not seem well kept, but it was also pretty windy so I'm sure that made it a bit difficult to keep clean. The breakfast was disappointing, but at least it was offered.

    I was on the sode of the freeway and there was a constant roaring noise. I couldnt sleep. This room was on the 3rd floor. I moved to a different room at LaQuinta on tge first floor. She said it was facing the pool but it wasnt. It was a back parking lot for big tractor and heavy machinery. At 4am, I heard beep, beep, beep (backing up) then Boom...something dropped. I even had a construction worker look in my window. No, not a good fit. I immediately checked out.

    I liked the location of the property. I DID NOT like how dirty the hotel is overall. When we checked in, the room we were assigned (on the 2nd floor) had a strong smell of urine. We notified the front desk and they reassigned us to another room (on the 5th floor). This room was very dirty/disgusting. There were roaches coming out if the bathroom sink, the sofa bed and carpet had disgusting stains. Also, the description of the room said that it was for up to 4 people. I chose this room and paid extra, because it was supposed to be bigger than a standard room. The disgusting/stained sofa bed was very small, my two children wouldn't have been able to sleep on it comfortably. Once again, we notified the front desk. They reassigned us to a smaller room with two beds. This room was better, but smelled like cigarettes and the carpet was very dirty. We asked to speak to a manager several times, but she was never available. We were assured by staff that she would contact us when she was there and available. This didn't happen until 3 days later, and only because we continued to insist to speak with her. Also, the staff said that there were notes that she had spoken with us by phone, which is not true. When we finally spoke with her, she seemed to be bothered by our complaints. She said the the strong smell of urine is probably because they allow pets in the room and that they can't discriminate against pets. We were awakened at 3 a.m. by a dog in a neighboring room the was barking.
