The staff in the reception needs to be trained how to speak with the customers and probably a cultural and attitudal thing. In this hospitality business one cannot be a straight talker but needs a diplomatic and supportive type of answering person at the front.

A lot of noise from freeway and just hotel guest in general. Doors don’t close softly, they SLAM shut! Front desk was ok…not the friendliest but did help me with a little discount. Overall I might stay again being that it’s the cheapest place in the area and I’m only here for work. But it’s definitely NOT my first pick if something else is reasonably comparable in price.

The bed was ok, but the sheets were not soft! The lighting was atrocious! I checked in late due to a work event, and the staff put me on the 3rd floor (no elevator)! The young person was speaking to me through a window with a microphone and her voice was so high pitched and she had a heavy accent so she was difficult to to understand!

Clean room. Phone didn’t work in room which wasn’t a big deal as we had our cell phones. We had to have our keys reprogrammed twice during our three night stay. But all in all if you need a clean quiet room, I would stay here again. Super convenient McDonalds a few feet away.

I liked the front desk lady everything was perfect

Room was nice and clean. However, the property outside have people roaming around all day. It seemed like people were living out of the hotels, which is fine but it would be uncomfortable to step out and have clusters of people everywhere. Also, we would walk down to the car and there was a man sleeping naked with the door open. We accidentally ran into this occurring twice. Outside of the room were people sitting and standing around. We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never stopped by. We don’t know if we were supposed to request that. The check in person did not mention anything about this at all. Overall, the room was nice but the environment around feels weird.

Been staying for a few times now for work purposes. Came in after work to check in and said they cannot find my reservation. I showed my reservation and the person said he cannot find it. He said they have been sold out since yesterday. Well ok then, but I still have the confirmed reservation. He was no help, so I had to look for another reservation. Called hotels.com and after talking to Good Nite Inn l, they claimed I was a no show. I said clearly, we can rewind cameras and check that I was indeed there. They wouldn't refund my reservation. Hotels.com did though.

The room was so dirty, looked like they never cleaned it and they just give it to us, they give us new room, but still it was very uncomfortable, I was itching the whole night, also so much noice around the room we couldn’t sleep at all, we had to leave the hotel next very early morning because we couldn’t be there anymore!!! I asked for refund, and the manager was nice and give the refund but still I don’t get my money back. Never going there again.!

Water leak in the wall from upstairs unit and black mold on bathroom ceiling; I tried calling front desk multiple times without answer. Email address on website bounced. Was also charged $100 for who knows what, no invoice received and can’t reach anyone to find out.

The room was me and very clean. Wasn’t too noisy. The property wasn’t sketchy no other sketchy people. This is like my seventh time staying here. I have any issues worth noting.

Rooms are fine. Only problems are keys frequently quit working and night staff is always asleep and difficult to get to respond. Also night staff doesn't verify who you are before granting access to keys. ANYONE could have picked a key off the ground and just wandered up to the window and said a room number. And he just does it. This guy's only apparent concern is getting back to sleep ASAP.

I know this is a budget hotel & you get what you pay for so even with the roaches, people smoking in front of their room (when this is a "non smoking" facility), the people hanging out drinking & getting high in the parking lot (the back side of the property where unfortunately my room was), and the disgusting mini fridge, stained tub, & dirty carpet... I was going to leave a 3 star review. BUT when I learned the last night I was there that there are ZERO cameras in the whole place just one camera facing the main office.... I was shocked & didn't sleep. I couldn't. It was just me & my 11yr old son for a whole week & every night we felt unsafe going into our room because all these intoxicated people kept staring at us until we went inside our room. Some of these people were not even guests in the hotel! I went 2x to complain about the smoking & the girl in the office (super sweet btw) asked ME to tell my next door neighbor that smoking was not permitted. Um NO im not about to risk my safety THEY should handle their guests & their behavior. The last night I was there I asked for roach traps because it was getting worse & the same sweet girl said she can switch my room. Honestly thank you for the kind gesture but that whole building has roaches! You can spot them in the elevator & hallways. Also, the hotel said our trash will be taken out daily. I was there 6 nights & they only took it out ONCE. I took my own trash out & used my own bags. NO STARS!!

For the price, this is a great deal for the area. It isn't high-end, but for that price, I would stay again. It is hidden behind a strip mall but that makes it feel more secure. Room was spotless with updated furnishings. Entire place was clean. They have coffee in room and in the lobby in the mornings. They have vending machines, but there are several decent restaurant and the best coffee shop I have ever been to just steps away. It is convenient to the 880 and a relatively short drive to locations in the south bay. Unfortunately, Bart is a mile away. I did not see a bus that comes by.

I used the inn for work. TV is not the best, remote control didn’t work but it’s probably just batteries. My biggest “complaint” about everything is that there’s no staff on site during the night, so if there’s a problem I can’t call anyone.

The hotel is not bad. It’s low budget so keep that in mind. The rooms are fairly clean, but they could definitely put more effort into keeping the property cleaner. The real problem at this hotel is the service from the front desk. They will shut down the front desk at random unspecified times. So if you’re having issues getting into your room or you’re checking in, be prepared to wait for at least an hour for someone to come help you and don’t bother calling the phone number because no one will answer the phone. There will be no one there to help you.

Seems to be exact same number of parking spots as rooms. Lot can fill quickly. Stayed four days. Housekeeping checked in with me in the morning then never came back each day. Trash wasn't emptied and towels weren't replenished. I usually have an excellent stay here. Hopefully this was an anomaly.

This motel is on par with Motel 6. The front desk clerk made it appear as it I was interrupting him when I checked in. The cover on the pep hole on the door would not close completely and made me feel creepy. I could hardly sleep with one noise after another (motorcycle, ice machine, sirens, coughing through paper thin walls). You name it, I heard likely it. The shower didn’t work properly with most of the water running into the tub and a small amount spraying me. The towels were small and very thin. The floor was sticky but not sure with what since I did not bring any food into the room. I would not stay here again and definitely would not recommend it.

No frills motel. Room was clean. Lower price than other comparable level motels in the area. They do a lot of business and the hotel was at full occupancy, which is due to the lower price they offer vs competitors. Due to full occupancy, we could hear other guests walking and talking in the hallways until late hours. Not a big deal, but may bother lite sleepers. Plenty of outside parking. Near a little shopping center with late night coffee. Overall would stay again if they continue to offer better rates than nearby hotels.

No Wi-Fi, Property felt very unsafe and hallways were dirty and poorly lit. Office was not well signed and difficult to find. I waited outside for 22 minutes for someone to unlock the lobby doors and check me in.

The Wi-Fi is unsecured, so don't do anything important while online. You are told upon checking in that trash pick up is everyday and housekeeping is every third day. Nope. My trash was only picked up once during an 11 night stay. The bed was never changed and they only replaced the wet towels once (and that was because I saw the housekeeping girl in the hallway. Otherwise, who knows. Not much in the way of amenities, but the air conditioner worked well.

Somehow masters seclusion despite being next to a freeway. You can't even tell. It's very impressive.

The room had maintenance problems and was not as clean as I am used to. The building was rundown and dirty outside. The elevator didn't work properly. There were no carts, so I had to make a dozen or so trips to the car to unload and load. I would prefer not to stay there again.

Bathroom and shower are modern so that’s the plus. However, the below-the-window AC unit will need upgrade next. Please check the AIR FILTER!!! There are dust/dirt pieces like half inch in diameter blown everywhere. We couldn’t use the AC so I tried to open the window and then the window frame separated/detatched. We couldn’t change room because the hotel desk computer is down. I think a lot of people give you similar feedbacks so please keep the momentum going. The front desk clerk (Jackie?) has been very patient and helpful and I do appreciate her efforts during an impossible situation when the computer system is down.

The room looks nothing like the pictures. The staff showed us 4 room that all had mildew smells in the carpet and curtains and one room with a nasty tub. We weren’t there more than 30 mins and they still charged us for a day even tho every room they showed us was horrible. I didn’t even feel safe

parking was affected by construction, a better paved main driveway and signs pointing to office would help. Had a lot of night time activity in parking areas. I called and asked if I could get an early check-in. They asked what time I would like to come and I asked how early a room could be ready. They replied "3 PM" which is the standard check-in time which I pointed out and asked if early check-in was possible. It's like they didn't want to tell me no? But then answer was no? So we had a little back and forth on that before I finally got a clear 'we're busy/booked today and can't do early check-in' which was frustrating. I would have rather been told no up front. When I got there and was given my room key, the front desk person pointed me in the wrong direction and it took a while for me to find my room. The rooms doors all face outside and the numbers are a little confusing and hard to follow. They should have given some kind of map. The room was fine, I would not recommend staying more than 1 night

It was a great location & the room was nice, clean, and modern. It’s not as nice as other branches I’ve stayed at in SoCal, but it definitely is still on brand especially for the discounted price I scored on a rainy day. The only reason for less stars was because my room’s heating system did not work and I had already checked in past midnight. I didn’t want to request a new room and the sheets were warm enough to weather the storm, so overall still a good experience and I definitely would stay here again but will aim to check in earlier to correct any problems early on.

I am a working professional and I stayed at this property for over a week. Overall, everything was perfect. My first review was about my room not being cleaned. However, there was a misunderstanding and it got cleared up quickly. I would most defintely stay at this room again. I felt safe. It was cleaned and it was very convenient. Thank you.

When I booked my room, they never mentioned about holding a security deposit. They said once I check out, my deposit will be returned back to me now it’s one week passed. I still haven’t got a refund for my deposit.

I’ve been here for six days and requested room service three days straight and still sleeping on the same dirty sheets. Went to get towels. This is sad.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and easy access from the parking to my room, which was on the ground floor near the pool. The desk attendant was very helpful. She asked me if I had a preference, and I asked for a ground-floor room near the parking as I'm a senior citizen and it's not easy for me to lug my stuff around anymore. Lots of food choices in front of the hotel. One minor complaint, put a sign up so it's easy to find the office!

Below average and smelly rooms.

The hotel claims to be 100% smoke-free, but my room clearly had a lingering smell of smoke. There was a designated smoking area, but other guests ignored it and smoked wherever they wanted, making it impossible to avoid the smell. The room itself was uncomfortable. The bed was extremely hard, and the "bedding" was just like three thin sheets. If you get cold easily, I highly recommend bringing your own blanket. Additionally, the door trim looked like it had been pried open, hanging off the door like it hadn’t been properly repaired or maintained. The bathroom wasn’t any better. The shower faucet leaked continuously. The elevator was dirty and in poor condition, with a missing cover around the buttons and random spackle on the wall. The pool area was another major disappointment. The jacuzzi had clearly been "filled" with a tree, but it looked like a half-baked attempt—just a tree surrounded by muddy water. It was both unappealing and concerning. To top it off, both nights of our stay, we were woken up around 4 a.m. by loud water running through the pipes, which was impossible to ignore. Overall, this hotel was a huge letdown. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

It was raining and there was a significant ceiling leak in the office area, but the staff member was pleasant despite the chaos. Elevators are dirty. Bed is comfortable. Mixed bag for sure.

The room's ac unit was broken and I did not realize it until maybe 2am when the room was stifling, there was no air flow even with the window open. We were on the first floor and the carpets were matted and when walking barefoot they felt slightly sticky. The room was clean, bedding clean but there was a lingering musty smell. The hotel itself is clean from the outside, the building is well kept but our room was a bit questionable. The staff was friendly, the check in/out was easy.

Good property for price. I stayed in first floor, a lot of foot traffic not as quiet as I would have liked. I had fridge in room but no microwave.

Enjoyed our stay for the most part. Comfy beds, cold fridge, very clean. However, the rooms are not even remotely quiet. Spent a very uncomfortable night being stuck listening to the neighbors enjoying... adult time, anxiously hoping the noise didn't wake my son. Both nights we were also woken up to yelling outside the hall multiple times.

1. Noisy garbage collection around 5 am. 2. Bath tub did not drain well.

I was optimistic given the reviews but the room was very dirty. We had to ask for towels and a hair dryer. We stuck it out for one night then moved to a big brand hotel.

Me and my party had a really great time. Room was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. I felt safe as a female traveler. A better lit parking lot wouldve be nicer but overall we had a good stay.

Our room smelled like urine, they did shampoo the carpet but that didn't help. They would not give a refund or switch rooms, the AC unit also has mold in it, I'm glad the window opens.

The check in was terrible. The lady had zero customer service skills and could care less that our room was not ready past the check in time. We came back 30 minutes after the check in time and it still wasn’t. She didn’t offer us an upgrade or anything, we had to ask. She was rude, unaccommodating, and unprofessional. Will not come back. The bed was also horribly stiff and uncomfortable.

The young lady that checked us in was great! So personable, we enjoyed talking with her. Even though we got in relatively late, she was super sweet.

kept area around the inn. Upon entering the room, there was a funny smell. We tried opening the window to air it out and found the window lock didn’t work. There is an Indian restaurant by the property and the kitchen door was open. Loud singing was blaring out for about an hour. The mini fridge did its job, but it was dirty. There was a used Kleenex under the bed. The AC worked well and the shower water pressure was good. The tub itself was not clean and I nearly slipped and fell stepping in.

What I didn't like about this property is I requested for change of bed sheets and pillow sheets due to hygiene concerns. They didn't do anything for my request. I found moulds on one bed. I stayed there for 3 whole nights and no change of bed sheets whatsoever. The beds were not EVEN made every night after we came back. Unsatisfied with their service.

A/c unit was not working but Front desk changed our room right away. Soap dispenser was not working in the second room but we were given extra soap. Great service. I always stay here and definitely come back again.

I like this property - its not my first time to stay at GNI hotel. Its just this time i noticed there is a very musty body odor smell in the room and the window was not operable to air the place out. I would not stay there again even though the price and the location and the hotel itself are not bad at all. I just can not tolerate a smelly room. By the way, front desk staff are amazing.

It was fine. Close to airport and fast food. No thrills, but safe.

We had a good rest in the middle of a long journey

While I was there, my reservation was canceled due to resale of the room.

Only one microwave for the entire property which is in the laundromat room in the ground floor and dirty. Staff services are good.

However, surprisingly, Hotels.com only has a virtual agent with no option to request a refund. There’s no phone number to call and no human support available.

We have to get ready for wedding. We have to left early morning. We found shower not working. It’s was so frustrating. We left without shower . I have to go 20 miles from the place to my friend’s house to get shower. I don’t recommend this hotel to stay .

We made our reservation online when we got there the hotel had canceled our reservation and then they wanted to sell us a smaller room for more money never going to this hotel again, and when we asked about how the refund process was they said it wasn’t their problem to contact whoever

Very clean, bed very comfortable, they answered phone quickly, front desk staff very nice. Shuttle excellent, very prompt. Frint desk response to my phone call request answered fast and pleasant, reacted very quickly to my call request for shuttle. Nreakfast provided in am very organized, fresh, great selection. It was good, customer service was great! Cleanliness not so great, bed had stuff between the sheets like the sheets didn’t get switched out for new sheets. I hope that wasn’t the case. Because that’s unacceptable and unhealthy.

First room was dirty. Hair and urine on the toilet seat. Hair in the mini fridge. Smelled of cigarettes. Not vacuumed. Staff was very apologetic and moved us. But the second room was also not vacuumed.

It was fine. Old room. Stained carpet. Seemed clean.

The dirtiest inn and stay , I doubt they ever clean the rooms. Bathroom smelled. I was charged comparable to Marriot across the street. Expedia , I am losing trust in you.

Not a “bad” hotel just set your expectations. Other hotels in the area are much newer and cleaner considering it’s a business area.

Also expect very very minimal service. The front desk in morning ladies seem like they had a bad day, though the gentleman at night was so much better. There was noise and water shut off during my stay too

I think it’s a really good hotel for the price you payed, only problem is my bathroom was a little bit dirty and the AC wasn’t working properly sometimes but it’s not that bad. That would be great if they had microwave in the room. And the front desk lady was sooo nice and helpful!
