Breakfast was fresh. Staff in the afternoon was excellent when we checked in. Went to turn my key cards in the next minute ringing and the guy at the front counter was too busy on his phone to acknowledge me.

The staff was very friendly and there was hot coffee as you enter the lobby. It was very clean as were the rooms and facilities. They also provided hot breakfast along with continental. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

The hotel was generally clean, and the staff was courteous and professional throughout my visit. Check-in was smooth, and the location was convenient for accessing nearby restaurants, shopping, and the interstate. On the downside, some areas of the property felt a bit dated and could benefit from maintenance and updates. The room was comfortable enough, but there were a few details that kept the stay from feeling exceptional. The breakfast was decent, though the selection and quality were fairly standard. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for a night or two, this hotel will get the job done. While it didn’t exceed my expectations, it also didn’t create any major issues. I’d consider staying again if I was in the area, but I would likely explore other options as well.

Everything about our stay was exceptional.

The door to my room was rubbing against the door frame I had to put my shoulder into it pretty hard to get the door closed. I left them next morning with a sore shoulder.

My room was not ready upon our arrival. After waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes, I requested a king room just so we could shower and get ready for my son’s second soccer game. We left after two hours, and our room was still not ready. This was a very inconvenient situation.

Just opened. I will not be staying here again. The cost and the $25.00 added fee was ridiculous and then the refund was 7 to 10 days refund. You took the money right away and it should be refunded the same. I deserve a full refund and you all need to do better, if you want people to stay.

We stop at this property 6x-8x annually. During our last stop the young man of the desk Saturday a.m. thought that a full hotel [related to a series of VA soccer tournaments] justified NOT providing requested towels, including choosing NOT to apologize either for failing to have the towels sent or for failing to notify me that housekeeping told him they had no towels to send. We have never had this type of service previously at this venue. Although previous interactions with this young man had suggested his unhappiness with his lot in life, something that never previously diminished our experience, which only made us feel sorry for the young man's personally destructive attitude.

If you need somewhere for a quick overnight it was fine, but I wasn't pleased with the room. It wasn't dirty but it wasn't as clean as it could have been. BUT the manager and staff were great. Very accommodating and when she learned we weee not happy with our stay, she went above and beyond to compensate us. Not the best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in, but the staff was attentive so nothing bad to say!

Breakfast was decent and the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff accommodated us and let us check in an hour early. The TV was hung completely crooked, the bedside lamps were flickering and then didn't work at all. The bathtub faucet was extremely loose and the shower head looked unclean.

After coming from across town at the Motel 6, which should be condemned..we were so very grateful for such clean accommodations. Very price friendly too, the breakfast in the morning was delicious as well. Very friendly staff!

staff was helpful and responsive. The room was clean and very big. One issue we had with room 405 the door did not shut properly. I think maybe it is warped. You had to slam it shut from the outside from inside you had to lift the door slightly to close it.

Your hotel rooms and overall hotel aesthetics left a LOT to be desired. Unfortunately we spent more time at the hotel than planned as my husband was ill and we could not attend the family events. In that time here are what we experienced... - The door was VERY difficult to open, the locking mechanism sticks or jams, needed to kick the door to open it - no toilet paper holder?! - We do not have children but if anyone does, they would not be able to reach the soap on the wall at the sink or the in the shower. - Whoever installed the counters left all the sink cut marks on them (did not impact our stay but lazy on their part) - the floors did not look clean, there was a lot of dust and particulate along the edges - Your hallway walls are sadly VERY dinged up and overall look dingy. Breakfast was efficient, standard but open early which was very appreciated. Coffee dispenser with hot water in the lobby - love this! not the best flavored coffee but well maintained and a great option. We booked through Expedia, looked for an affordable room at a brand we know and trust. We got a decent rate, but would not book there again. Again, your staff was wonderful!

I spent 5 days without gaming which is bad.Your gym needs more equipment and services… Besides that I loved everything.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. Cleanliness wasn’t bad but did not like the fact that my feet stuck to the bathroom floor and same with carpeting. (I've found carpeting is that way in most hotels so I always bring a pair of flip flops for walking around room) staff was very pleasant. Was disappointed that pool was not open.

Loved the room, loved the staff, but the noise from both outside and inside kept me up almost the entire first night of our two night stay. Also loved that our dog, Ruby, was treated so kindly by guests and staff as this was her very first family trip.

Staff was welcoming. Property clearly underwent recent refresh. Room was newly appointed. Room was very dark. Recessed area that contained coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge was enveloped in darkness, no light at all. Bathroom, not good....tub was dirty and paint peeling, no toilet paper holder. roll was just set on counter. Light switch covered in dirty fingerprints. Swimming pool closed for maintenance. :-(. "Hot Breakfast" fair....Hot items were cool at best.

The two people at the front desk were not very professional upon our arrival. Both were on their phones and seem to be bothered by us.

I booked for my mom so I was a bit worried . But she told me hotel was great , even type fancy and the surrounding areas were safe !

A hand towel was used to clean up a spill the next morning a charge was put on my card for $25 when I asked about the charge they said it was due to a stained towel I asked to see the towel they said it was in laundry . I asked them to give it to me since I now owned the repeated it’s in laundry and would let the manager know. No solution . I blocked them from making future charges on my card!!! Take your own linen!!! Very unprofessional and rude.

at 1:08 am on May 17 our room was 77 degrees. The a/c was not working. After multiple attempts to use deficient equipment, air, fan, etc..we called the front desk. someone arrived not capable of fixing the issue. On top of that gave us an attitude at 1 a.m. that somehow it was our fault. After check in we left for dinner, placed a do not disturbed sign only to return and find someone entered without out our permission. We arrived closed the blinds after 5 minutes of trying remote, set the a/c and found them back open and off upon return. The room was a handicap accessible room that we did not need but was not properly set up for anyone with a disability. There was no tpaper holder, the floors were dirty, the TV remote did not work. The street racing outside was loud and disruptive. There was no lighting in the beverage center, which was set up wrong for the disabled, as well as the soap dispenser at the bath sink. Usually, we tip the cleaning staff but did not due to accessing room and making changes...changing the blinds and a/c settings. Asked for a refund, but staff copped an attitude and pushed us to the manager who was not onsite. Room 315 should not be offered to the public. And local law enforcement should enforce quiet time around hotels.

So conveniently located, pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast a real perk

The new beds and pillows were very comfortable. I like the fact the coffee pot is a keurig. I was there for 4 days visiting family and still don’t know how to work the remote for the TV. Breakfast was as usual and good for a quick bite before your out for the day. Will go back but I will check on the renovation next time.

The property is under renovations. It was quite area. Right off parkway convient to everything lots of restaurants. The manager couldn't locate my reservation but he went all out to find so I appreciate his customer service above and beyond

When we got to the hotel, I told the manager what happened. The manager was WONDERFUL as was the young man who checked us in. The hotel was very nice. The room and fixtures were modern and elegant. It was clean and very comfortable. Love the Dove bath products. Breakfast was very good. Nice variety of foods and dining area. It is a shame that a rude person was our first impression of the hotel. Everyone else and the hotel were a delight.

Very disappointed to find that the pool area was under construction. They had it on their website but it wasn’t on this one. I would never have paid this price for hotel without pool.

Very disappointed. I was called the day before asking if they could upgrade me at no additional cost. I agreed. The room was ok but the bathroom was horrible, the tub looked like they had used it to do work, the bottom had ruts and no glaze and the drain had green gunk on it. I placed a full bath towel down to take a quick shower. No exhaust fan so the dew dripped off the top ceiling header as you brushed your teeth.

This hotel was much better than the one across the parking lot by far (Comfort Suites)!

Understand property is under renovations. But still charging going rate? Come on! No place to sit

Small TV, Small refrigerator and microwave oven on a high shelf!

When I arrived, I was very dissatisfied to find out the hotel was under construction nowhere on Hotels.com did it say that this hotel was under renovations , and one of the main reasons why I booked there is because I wanted to go swimming. The pool was closed and when I got into my room, there was the chair missing from the corner of the room like there always is the only thing that was there was the office chair at the desk and the bed you could sit on .. I was offered a chair from their dining area where the breakfast is served to sit in in my room , and there was a exposed wire that was coming out of the wall at the end of where my bed was .. I definitely did not like my stay while I was there. I wanted to move properties to the one off of Warrenton Road but when I called Hotels.com, they only wanted to give me a refund for three of my nights not all four .. so I just stayed at the property .. I most definitely will not be staying here again. I was very dissatisfied.

Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and highway if travelling. Good value.

Clean room except bathtub was dirty and rusty.

Property was right off !95 and clean and plenty of restaurants in walking distance .3rd time there love the cleanliness

It was very loud in the area at night

We was to stay for 2 days for a soccer tournament, us and the rest of our team checked out after the first night. There was bed bugs and roaches in all the rooms. The housekeeping cart was fill with roaches crawling in and out. The ac/heat was not working either. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless you like sleeping with critters.

The property is doing renovations (wish it said that when booking) some of the amenities were closed ( and those were partially why we chose to stay here). It was a lot going on all over the place. The elevator closest to our room was out of service. The TV in the room was small and sitting on the desk so you could barely see it. The property is in desperate need of upgrading just wish we knew it was happening now during our stay. Would have stayed elsewhere.

I stayed here previously and it was much better than this trip. The elevator was sketchy and needed maintenance. The bathroom specifically the bath tub was not clean had to clean it myself. Also, the television in the room was small maybe a 32" and they did not have ESPN or HBO. The breakfast was not that great either. I will not be staying at this property again. Maybe you will have a better experience.

I booked this hotel for my sister and her husband, who came from Spain. On the second day of the stay, they canceled the rest of the stay because the Manager stated they were smoking in the room. The Manager never approached them or me to give them a verbal warning about the smoking situation and evicted them from the hotel. On top of that, they charge an extra night to my credit card and $225 for the cleaning fee of the room. They did not have personnel who spoke Spanish, and all the signs were in English. The Manager, very aggressively and without any knowledge of hospitality, evicted my family from the property without taking any corrective action to resolve the problem or to manage the situation differently. Also, the hotel is under renovation and is full of concrete dust, even in the breakfast area, and is noisy during the day. Recommendation: if you are from another country, don't stay in this hotel because Management and personnel appear to not have hospitality training, only speak English, and do not have empathy for foreign travelers. They just care about Americans.

Good place to stay overnight. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Hotel undergoing updates.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our early check in. They had renovations going on but it didn’t interfere with our stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel several times. Bathroom could use some updates.

It started out clean and nice. No help from staff to offset sleepless night with cockroach in bed room

Indoor pool was closed, remodeling going on and only 1 elevator was in service.

I stepped into a dark bedroom to see a duct-tape wrapped wire hanging out of the wall where the lightswitch should be. Knowing this is a luxury room, I figured it MUST be like this to make guests go to sleep faster. What a great feature! I got dressed down and in bed quickly in the dark, though didn’t realize why I could still see well enough to do so until I noticed the seedy red light district directly across the street from my room was shining through the sheer curtains. Thinking Las Vegas level brightness wasn’t conducive for sleep, I got back up to close the heavy curtains that were pulled to the side, only to realize they weren’t made to close. No, they were on little half foot tracks, giving the illusion of functional, but completely useless. I attempted to sleep, but the 3rd time the same noisy staff vehicle slowly crept past my window with a driver looking in, I figured I should do something. I pressed my asscheeks to the window, gave the finger, and tied the heavy curtains together to block the window with my belt. I KINDA slept. Bed was comfy, but stunk. Got up extra early thinking if I can’t sleep, I’ll workout. Elevator was broken. Gym was closed for repairs. Pool was closed. I just checked out at 6am and waited on the comp breakfast, which I can say was delightful. 2/5 stars, better than sleeping outside. Breakfast was 5/5.

The room was clean, but needed a little maintenance. It appears there is some updating going on, so hopefully the few issues are being handled.

Property was not in the best of shape, but is in the middle of renovation. Or being in the middle of a renovation it was overall a good experience.

Ypon arrival I had to qait several minutes for the attendant to come instead and check us in. The outside ligting was minimal and the hitel smelled like cigarettes. There was only one 8ce machine which 2as licated on the first flior. We were on the 4thfloor. The check out person was friendly, quick and very plesant.

Air quality of room was a bit mucky, had a moldy smell.

It’s was close

Well, they had no breakfast, no manager showed up to get the breakfast going. They gave us an option to go next door to Macdonalds and bring back the teceipt for crefit. The hotel is going thru renovations which might explain some of the shoty look. Staff was however very friendly and courteous.

Loved loved loved the bed!!!...hated all the renovations and ambulance at the building at 6am with their lights on and no way to shut the curtains!!! So we just got up and left...before breakfast and everything!

I liked everything, just pool needs updated, and needs ventilation system in pool area. Was very stuffy. Other than that was a very nice stay.

They were renovating this property. There were several dogs there which i didn't care for. There was a cord going across the desk to the plug in instead of having something on the wall to plug the lamp, fridge and microwave.

I liked the convenience of the area, all the shopping areas and also the cleanliness. The pool was nice, breakfast was okay. The only issues we had were spotty wifi, no toilet paper in room, and power went out the morning we had to check out.

Hotel wasn't bad, however the air-condition never got cool.

Hot water wasn’t available for shower or sink. Called front desk. Neither maintenance nor a manager was available. The hotel is under renovation . Wish I had known. Waiting for manager to respond.

Property was under maintenance at the time and plumbing was just done but for the most part it was clean and quiet. The staff was good. The only issue I had was the door to the room was hard to open. You had to push real hard like you was breaking in once it turned green and the AC was real loud when it kept turning on so I would fixed those two issues especially for people staying a longer period of time then one night.

Friendly Staff

They were doing renovations, the old furniture and mattresses were piled up outside my window. The dumpster was being picked up at 2am, and was extremely loud.

Continental breakfast cold and damp.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean. Some renovations currently underway.
