    The location was perfectly fine right off the highway next to a gas station that we needed and it was close to our event. There was no clear sign to show where the front of the business was. We drove around the entire building to find the entrance. The room I booked a double room was giving away to someone else. We were forced to get a roll away caught. My other friend book herself a separate room that night. The rooms weren't clean the carpet was dirty. Front desk could not explain to us why. They said there was no staff. Try to reason manager on the phone she was not helpful.

    Dirty, dated, broken or missing items. Really old mattress, mold in bathroom, stained sheets and towels, dirty carpet and furniture. Way overpriced for what you get. Was in town for a doctor's appointment, will need to come back to area for a week next month and will be looking elsewhere for a place to stay.

    This hotel is so awful, I wouldn't recomend staying here to anyone. It is very run down and poorly maintained. The walls and carpets are very dirty. The first floor smells like stale garlic and old cooking oil, and the fourth floor had the very distinctive smell of a rats nest. The smells were so bad that it stayed on my clothes after I left. I'm very disappointed in this stay. I paid $158 for the quality of a $50/night crack hotel.

    Traveling as a single female the location was awesome. Easy to get to food, gas, shopping and easy access to the interstate. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved that they had smoking rooms available, so I didnt have to leave my room. Cleanliness of the room was ok. The kitchen area was the dirtiest. Leftover food and drink was left in the fridge, microwave was very dirty. But bathroom and sleeping area was good. Kitchen area needed to be cleaner.

    Had to cancel. Call the man at the front desk and was told I would receive a full refund just to wait 3-5 Business days. Called back three days later, as I still had not received the refund. When I spoke to a representative they said that no such refund was going through. The representative also had an aggressive attitude with me even though I was polite and calm. DO NOT STAY HERE. Management lies and does not keep there word. I would not trust my financial information with these people. I didn’t like being told I was going to receive a full refund, and then being told I was not receiving a refund. Clearly there is a culture and character issue at this place of employment. If a promise is made it should be kept plain and simple.

    Good pillows. Hot water. Roaches. All over the kitchen counter, side of the fridge, down the side of the cabinets and even the door. The corner going into a closet. Disgusting. Room smelled like sickly cinnamon. Elevators and hall like cigarette smoke. Carpet was coming up in corners. Box spring frayed like a cat used it as a scratching post. Stains on the floors and ridiculously uncomfortable furniture.

    Well, I got off work around 9 PM ordered a Pizza. Around 1 o'clock in the morning. Left it out on the table because I was going to take it to work with me when I woke up at 5 in the morning. But, to my surprise, when I woke up to 8 or more roaches, helping themselves to my Pizza.. I'm very disgusted

    Rachel was the front desk staff on duty on the second day of my stay. My room needed to be changed due to a lamp not working and the toilet seat coming off. Maintenance staff was not in on this day to help further with repairs, but she was quick to action. Rachel helped me and addressed me with kindness and genuine customer care. She provided everything I asked for and even went out of her way to check the new room for me, print documents for me, and treated me to cookies and snacks as a courtesy for my troubles. She was outstanding!! The hotel itself was okay. I like that the rooms were suite style with full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top, and kitchen sink. They have washers and dryers for free and free coffee. There was a gym and business center as well. I hung out in the outdoor seating area in the back of the hotel it was small but comfortable. The hotel is located right off of 95 so it is very convenient for travel.

Seconds later I saw the Initial roach and several others coming out of the cabinet and from on top of the refrigerator. We went downstairs to request a new room and we were able to change. Just to realize there were baby roaches on the a/c unit, on the walls, in the bathroom and still in the kitchen. What made it even worse as we were leaving the room to go back downstairs to the front desk there was a roach crawling on the wall in the hallway. We notified 2 of the front desk receptionists so they both were tracking each incident through there shifts andwe were told if weleft when we left we would get a full return due to the incident. And later found out the general manager was not aware and said she would issue a refund and we have yet to see it.

    Was told the room was unavailable and they tried calling me. Next offered a smaller room. I looked at the room and it was filthy. There was no refrigerator, when I opened the dishwasher there were many love roaches crawling throughout. The room was dirty. The smell was horrific. I let the front desk know and he was not surprised. He actually said he was aware but they are only on the fourth floor.

    When I got there to check in the receptionist was very rude and said they did not have me with a reservation. She then found me was very rude. when we got to our room my husband turned the tv on and it said no signal. I called them and they said that TV does not work so there is nothing I can do there is no technician. I called the following day and they said I told you it does not work no care in the world to make us comfortable. Again very rude and confrontational. I would not recomend staying there.

    this place is strickly for homeless people. Guest have big size Pit bull dogs on ropes, Hallway & elevator smells like marijuana. The guest dog jumps up on other guest. You have guest who are just hanging out in the lobby just loitering. For the price of these rooms you would expect it to be clean, speaking about clean the hallways have dirty linens laying outside of rooms and housekeeping door. I have plenty of trouble getting my overcharge for the room back. I am still waiting for my incedential deposit back.. This place needs staff changes real quick because only the General Manager can do refunds . This one hotel i wont ever stay at or tell anyone about . This hotel is not for tourist. The front desk agent was outside smoking more than doing her job.. which she aint even good at, she knows not enough to be left alone on a shirt alone..

    There were people walking around the property standing on the corner of where our bedroom is for 45 hours straight they even had BB guns in the backyard. The room smelt like wet dog there was animal hears on the chairs crumbs on the floor. The place was smelly and dirty. I’ve been going to this Candlewood suites for six years and never saw it like this before.

    "Warning domestic violence" The room was clean the area around the hotel was very dificult to navigate though that is not why i am leaving such a bad reveiw. I have genuinely never had an experience like this at a hotel and i do not understand why the issue was not handled at all. I booked my stay for 2 nights but left at 4 am the first day after hearing major domestic violence that shook the room all night to the point i could not sleep and i am a heavy sleeper. We had began calling about this distubance at 11:pm and nothing seemed to have been done at all about it. Suposedly they called the room and they said everything was fine but if anyone had bothered to listen on the floor we were on at all let alone the floor above us they would have realized it was not fine. I shared with the front desk that i heard loud banging that shook the walls and chairs being thrown across the room and women screaming to stop and to get out of their room and that they were hurting her and a man shouting awful things at them. This was not normal and i regret that i didnt think to call the cops myself. I was refunded for my second night but i didnt receive anything for the night i wasted there not being able to sleep i gad to get another hotel about an hour away and was too tired after not sleeping all night to attend the ren faire as i intended too so i really just wasted alot of money on this and i highly regret my stay.

    We stayed here for about 6 weeks while waiting to be able to move into our new place, it was really nice for those who need temporary housing. They had a lot of things most hotels don't, like pots and pans, a dishwasher, a stove, a microwave, plates, bowls, cups, and silverware. In general, it was probably a better place for us to be than a more expensive hotel would have been just for all these extras. My one big complaint is that the floors are always so sticky, I believe it's due to how they clean the rooms but we always had to wear shoes and even then the shoes would stick to the floor. Regardless, I would stay here again if I was in the same situation.

The room was the last available room in the queen category but it was a smoking room. The smell was unbearable even after I Febrezed the entire room twice. (Febreze supplied by the hotel staff). I would never recommend that anyone stay in a smoking room unless your are desperate or have no sense of smell. Otherwise, I have complaints regarding the staff.

    This hotel has really gone down hill. They put me in a smoking room, without even warning me ahead of time. It smelled terrible and there was nicotine all over everything. When I tried to switch rooms, they told me that there was none left that were non-smoking. When I got into my room, I had no towels. I didn’t plan on showering until the morning anyway so I figured I would go down to the desk and ask when I woke up. I went down at 7 AM the next morning and asked for a towel just be told they had none left. I was handed a hand towel… To shower with! Then I was told that if I found a housekeeper in the halls, I could ask for one. So I was supposed to search the hotel to find a towel?! Isn’t that their job??? So I just went back to my room and use my hand towel. When I checked in, I had asked for a late check out so I was given a 12:00 check out time. At 11:45 a man was knocking on my door asking me why I was still there. This man did not look like an employee with the exception of a piece of paper in his hand. He wasn’t dressed well and was chomping on a toothpick.

    Easy to check in - very friendly staff- beds were comfortable- requested a king size bed or two queens but only one queen available and it was fine. Bathrooms were very clean. Really liked the sound machine that was in the room. Helps to block out any noise so my dog doesn’t bark - keeps her nice and calm. Thinking about buying one for us.

    We have always searched for candlewood when we traveled as we loved these hotels. As of late, not so much, to the point we probably won't stay at another. When we went to go in our room the door would not work. We had to get a different room, and the only king room they had was a smoking room. We do not like all of our belongings smelling like smoke, but I wasn't paying for something I'm not getting, so I agreed. The room reeked, had stains all over the floors, chairs, and couch. The toilet seat was basically falling off, to the point you had to be very careful or you would end up on the floor using the restroom. Then in the morning we discovered the coffee pot did not work either. We couldn't even notify anyone upon checkout as your to just leave your room key in a box on the desk and there was no one there when we left. My fiance was furious and I was also upset, as these hotels used to be very luxurious and comfortable. Like a little home away from home. Anymore they have become a "what will be wrong this time." We've stayed at others last year that we additionally had issues

    Booked a room with two beds. Said they didn’t have two beds when we arrived and couldn’t get one. Walked into the room with a damp carpet and the strong smell of mold and mildew. Main light in the room can’t be turned off because the light switch it broken. Had to duct tape it to get it to stay off. Desk light is broken. Bathroom door doesn’t latch and the lock is also broken. Told me they couldn’t give me a discount or any type of refund because I booked through Expedia.
