    The pictures that they post online of their site is misleading. We're entering the room. The first thing that I saw was a huge stain on the chair. It smelled old and musty like there was mold in the room. The phone did not work the. TV Volume was low and you could not hear anything anyone was saying.The toilet was jammed and did not flush. This was supposed to be a surprise for my sister's 40th birthday which I put balloons in the room and cafeti. They said they were charging me $20 to vacuum the cafeti which I found outrageous since half of the things in the room did not work. The staff was very rude and uncooperative. I asked for corporates' number so I can call them.The staff proceeded to tell me they do not have corporates number, which is a lie. I would not even send my worst enemy here. The worst experience in a hotel which I have had seen by far. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

    Do not stay here! It is super run down smells like mold and looks nothing like the pictures. Random people were hanging around and it is not in a safe location. Did not stay here even one night and the staff were not helpful.

    In the current economic environment, it was a decent value. It was basic amenities, no frills but basically clean and servicable. the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The "included" breakfast was minimal: a couple of cold cereal choices, some oatmeal packets, some bananas; not much but I suppose not too bad considering the room price. I would also mention that the following morning but prior to check out - around 9:00 am - the room key no longer worked. I believe I overheard another guest at the front desk mention the same issue. Also, there were 2 of us staying but we were only issued 1 room key; that is inconvenient. And I would add that after the shower was used, the water continued to have steady drip, no matter how hard we tried to shut off the tap.

    This was the first and last time I will stay in this hotel! The bedding was stained and discolored. Had to sleep in my cloths. I had 2 beds in the room and picked the lesser of two evils. My room was in the back of the property where all the meth and drug addicted people were. They were up all night talking in the breezeway. Turn on the light and they scattered like roaches. This happened again at 4 in the morning to where I finally just got up and left. The entire room smelled like wet feet, spider webs on the ceiling, and stains on the toilet and shower tub. I made sure not to touch anything inside this room. When leaving it appeared to have mold around the front window. My room was a dump and the hotel shut down until inspection is done by the health department!

    When we checked in we had to try 4 rooms until we found one that was clean. They limit towels like they are valuable. Over the three days we were there they didn't empty the trash. The toilet seat was broken. And the people next door were smoking, which made our room smell of smoke. It was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in, all the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

    Unfortunately I cannot say our stay was pleasant. We had a non smoking room. Apparently my idea of what a non smoking room should smell like and what the hotel operator thinks a non smoking room smells like are quite different. The wall of smoke smell as you walked into the room was just disgusting. When we came back to ask if they had any other rooms, of course they had none. Then I had to convince the lady who checked us in to go to the room and smell the smoke for herself. As she left she grabbed a bottle of air freshener. When she came back down, she tells me that the room was all good to go. I politely told her thank you for going to check the room however, I do not believe spraying some air freshener was going to help. And of course there was no manager on duty to do anything else. On top of the horrendous smell, they also added in all of the lovely other patrons that think partying out side there rooms until 2 am with no regard for others sleeping was exceptable. Safe to say I will never stay at another Days Inn ever again. If I could give them a zero I would.

    Parking wasn't bad. Room was decent. Staff was okay. Breakfast was not as advertised. Unfortunately we didn't have hot water the entire stay and when we notified the front desk we were told the hot water was turned on and to let it run for 10+ minutes if needed. That didn't fix the issue and when we told them again, they said it's on.

    I made the reservations online for one room three adults. The app gave me a price. I paid it with my credit card when I arrived at the hotel they tried to tell me that they only allow two adult adults and two children per room. then they tried to charge me an additional fee for having the third adult in the room. I said absolutely not. It didn’t say that on the app I already paid for everything in full and I was not paying additional when I made the reservation for three adults in one room. They then decided OK well I wouldn’t have to pay that fee but they charged me $100 deposit for incidentals in the room then they only had two towels two washcloths and two hand towels I had to go ask for more for our third person. Everything in the room was OK. Our stay was OK. I hit excellent by mistake when I was starting this review.

    I was in this area for a 3 day certification training class for my job and found the rates to suite my allowance for sleep accommodations. Price point wasn't terrible, however the establishment looked ran down from the outside. The exterior photos were minimal on the listings but the interior photos looked very nice. I was wrong. After checking, i dropped off my things to the room and headed to grab some food, drinks and snacks for the week. After returning, i unpacked and put the food in the refrigerator which was lacking in temperature. I noticed bugs on the nightstand which looke like bed bugs. Took photos and exited as fas as i could. Totally disgusted, I turned my keycard in and informed the counter associate of what i found. The look on her face let me know she wasnt surprised. I asked for a refund but was informed the 3rd party (Hotels.com) would need to be contacted for this. I couldn't get a live person on the phone, so i had to start a chat style conversation. Keep in mind its now 930pm and my class begins at 8am and i have no place to stay at this moment. I spent another 45b minutes locating a place with vacancies. I did find a place by 1030pm and continued expressing what transpired with the chat agent and was informed an email would be sent out to me about my refund. 2 days later I was told no refund could be given. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with this whole experience. Ill never use Hotel.com again

    I didn't even get to stay in the room I booked. I booked a 2 bed room for 3 people and upon showing up to check in I was informed that there was an extra charge for the 3rd person and an additional $100 room service charge. I was also informed they couldn't cancel my booking and directed me to the app which still wouldn't let me cancel my booking so there goes my hope of getting my money back for a stay that I didn't even get to enjoy.

    The room was clean and well organized. However, thecoating on the tub enclosure was peeling quite badly. The parking lot had not been properly cleared of ice and snow following a major storm. I am a senior with major mobility issues, and I found it very difficult load and unload my car.

    The room was clean enough, but it had a musty smell. When we arrived, there was a suitcase outside by the trash, along with a duffle bag of clothes that was still there when we checked out. The breakfast included left much to be desired. I do not see how this hotel had a 7.2 average review on hotels.com. It scored a few 10s; there was nothing about this hotel that garnered a 10.

    While checking out , in order to get my security deposit back the front desk had housekeeping check the room. In front of the entire lobby I was admitted for cleaning pizza up with a washcloth and hand towel. Shown pictures of it and threatened to have my $100 security deposit garnished. It was embarrassing and I will never be back. I would hate to know what they would do if they knew what people normally clean with wash cloths.

    First of all the roaches were outrageous, the front desk staff are so rude and argumentative, they had me pay 60.00 for my dog for two days, keep in mind that when I called the customer service number and asked how much it was for the dog to be there I was told that it's 35.00 a stay. I was then called me the next day being askied for 5 days more pay for my dog, who had only been there with me for not even a whole 24 hours, when I refused to pay they put me out, a day before my check out, they did not refund me for the last day, told me I would not get my deposit back and called the police on me because I refused to open my door and argue. This girl came to my door knocking demanding that I open the door. She was very aggressive I honestly thought the girl wanted to fight the way she was coming at me and she had the nerve to call the police. So if your looking for a roach holiday, looking to get robbed by Days inn and some nasty customer service Days Inn in Frederick Maryland is for you (not)

    When we went to room the tub was running. The desk told us they were testing the hot water. It would not have been long until the tub overflowed. Fortunately neither of us took a shower last night. When we checked out the front desk told us the hot water was fixed at 5am this morning.

    Heating unit noisy and runs all the time. I booked a room for relative and they were turned away because I did not arrive the same day so we lost the cost of the room. If the room has to be booked in that persons name it should be on the information on Expedia. The room was prepaid! Not staying there again unless there is new manager

    This is a basic motel at a rate to match. Good for short stays. The TV is basic, and the refrigerator was ok as the microwave. It is a two-story building without an elevator. Read the print, the free coffee and breakfast ITEM means that you get coffee, cereal, yogurt, bagels and muffins. Very bare bones

    Paid early check in fee. Still had to wait for the room to be ready. Once in the room the curtain was broken and did not close all the way so I had to use the lock to try to hold the curtain closed while I changed in a first floor room where people had to walk by to get to their rooms. Room was supposed to be freshly cleaned but there was a phone on the floor beside the bed that I brought to the front desk.

    When I called for fresh towels, I was told I had to come to the front desk to get them. Once I arrived, the clerk insisted I bring my used towels to exchange for new ones, forcing me to walk back and forth between my room and the lobby. When I returned, “Raj” again asked for my room number and how many guests were staying with me—questions he had already asked multiple times. He then stated that providing towels wasn’t his job and that I needed to speak with housekeeping, who he said had already gone home (it was only 6 p.m.). He eventually brought out fresh towels but practically threw them at me. I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. I don’t understand why I received such poor treatment, but it certainly left a negative impression of this hotel.

    Requested non-smoking room, got a room with ash trays and residual cigarette smoke smell. Due to time constraints I did not request a room change, as I had to be at another venue shortly after checking in. Toilet seat nearly fell off of commode!!! Dangerous! Bed spreads had cigarette burn holes in them. Place is in need of repair!! Will never stay there again or recommend it!

    We arrived 2 hours early and they wanted $35 to check in. I get thats policy so we declined. Got back to the room at 11 and clerk delayed getting our room key. Go into the room and multiple roaches were on the tv and dresser. Went to the front desk who was not surprised at all. Was told there's nothing she could do until morning.     The hotel is conveniently situated. The room was clean, modern and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little compact but was functional. Parking was easily available and very convenient. My biggest complaint was with the free breakfast. Very limited choice of breakfast items like bagels (not fresh, a plastic bag), small muffins (in a plastic bag), cereal (limited choice), and the coffee was mediocre at best. For the price, the breakfast was a let down. We were just there for the night, we arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so it met our needs, except for the disappointing breakfast. Otherwise, I slept well in the clean, comfortable bed.

    It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The sheets were torn, there were cockroaches. When I made the reservation, it said there was daily housekeeping, but it was only once because I had to ask for it. The room stank. They changed my towels twice. It smelled like marijuana. I can say I don't recommend this place to anyone

    My recent visit I was given the same room. I noticed while I was away the pictures were still hung incorrectly. I was able to SWITCH the 2 end pictures and made the scene on the wall corrected. The wall picture looks MUCH better than before. Thank you.

    The property need a lot of upkeep. The paint is peeling off the walls and tubs. There is stains on the curtains, wall, ceiling and chairs . There is also roaches in the rooms. I cleaned off the desk chair with a cloth and it was discolored after. I checked out early after changing rooms the first night.

    This location should be shut down. The hotel is on its last leg! The rooms are dated with 10+ year old, stained carpet. The bathtub was stained. I found a dead beetle in the corner and NO WIFI. Terrible experience!!

    Room was filled will smell of cigarette smokers den. I do not smoke. when I asked if I could switch rooms during check-in my request was denied. Didn’t want to change clothes because the smell of nicotine was unbearable and I was worried that people would smell this odor on me.

    Breakfast was a muffin (there were three in the bowl) bagels or a few yogurts. We had a huge one inch beetle crawl between the two beds. It was not dangerous but creeped me out just the same. I had to wash the ice bucket before I could use it. They place a 100$ hold on your credit card for incidentals and have big signs about damaging or taking linens and the fee you will be charged. I felt that it was not the most friendly place.

    For the price, it was fine. I felt a bit catfished by the photos thinking the room was more updated than it was. There were lots of patched holes (from general wear and tear) and the door hinges were rusted. Despite this, the bed was comfy, the room was quiet, and the AC was great. I stayed in one of the four days I was there and there were only 40 channels to chose from and no movie channels (e.g. HBO, Showtime, etc.), which I thought was odd.

    Checked into a room that apparently was a smoking room. I honestly didn’t know that a room like this existed but I was informed of this once I arrived. Against my better judgement I said well I will try it and that the room couldn’t be too bad. Reason being they wanted $50 more for a non smoking room! Walked into the room and it was horrible. My eyes were burning and I turned around and had to pay more for an another room as all the rooms in the area were full. I frequent this area a lot and will avoid this place from now on. Being charged more for a non smoking room is insane.

    Soon as we checked in, our room was pretty disgusting. All types of stains on the bed, lamp, sofa. Called for bedding to be changed immediately and housekeeper refused to change bedding. She said her boss said it’s “normal”. Spoke to front desk again. He said he’d send housekeeper back to my room. It took an hour and 4 phone calls for them to come change the bedding after going back and forth about it. Will never stay again.

    I arrived 1 hr before check in time. The staff allowed me to check in early. The room was very clean and cozy. The only complaint that i have is that the shower ( after a full minute of waiting for water to reach is max temp) did not get very hot. It would only ajust to luke warm water. I am not sure if they had it set that way or i just didn't know how to adjust it 🤔 overall i would stay there again.

    Room had a particular smell, not pleasant. Due to the amount of lighting around the property, the room were very lit up at night to the point that the illuminated inside and did not make it dark enough; therefore, it was very difficult to fall asleep. The front desk staff was reluctant to let me use the bathroom in the lobby. Bathroom was locked and I had to beg him to unlock it for me because I had my bladder really full. He was not friendly at all. I will never make a Daysinn reservation ever again.
