If you arrive late, be aware you'll need to ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in. Key cards are required for entry to the building even through the front lobby. We waited several minutes for someone to arrive.

Room was fine but walls were very thin. I couldn’t sleep because there was a lot of noise in the hallways and the toilets flushing in other rooms were extremely loud.

We needed a decent bed and modern amenities after a week in a 1960's motel that had NEVER been renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful, this hotel is clean and quiet.

The hotel was clean and has a new feel after being refurbished. The staff is responsive and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay.

No freezer in fridge, we had 5 BIG spiders in the room and bathroom. On the last night of our stay we woke up with a bunch of spider bites. Room smelled moldy/musty. The tub wasn’t draining well.

Service was lousy. After telling them was using a different card to pay for room and not the card used to reserve the room. Charged the card anyway. Ordered food at the bistro and after 20 minutes and seeing others after us get their food asked about our order. They forgot about us. Ordered bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for $11.50 and hardly had any bacon on sandwich. See attached picture. I will NOT be returning to this location again

Construction and landscaping noise was excessive and early morning beginning before 8am.

Our stay overall was good, however the indoor pool and fitness room were both closed for upgrades. This was very disappointing to find out after we had already checked in. These were the 2 of the 3 reasons we picked this hotel.

I booked this room for an incoming Real Estate client of mine. She is an extremely fussy type, and very big on cleanliness. She LOVED it! She complimented everything, said she slept very well, and could see her car from her room, which she liked. Great lobby and overall appearance. A+

Property was a little dirty and had construction going on. Staff was very friendly but the Marriott system was down the whole time we were there. So we had to provide credit card information on paper.

The wooden frame of the couch is so close to the foot of the bed, practically unavoidable not to take a bad bruise to your legs, shins as you try to navigate around to the other side of the bed to get in it. I tryed to move the couch, it was much too heavy for me. Staff & management should definitely address this.

We stayed at this property for over two weeks due to a death in the family. The staff including Janet and Fatima were lovely and always helpful. Thanks All for assisting in a seamless visit during a difficult time.

We checked in and they put us in a room across from construction. Even though the hotel wasn't full. Our room was missing a couple of basic items. Looks like every day of our trip we had to ask for something like toilet paper or tissue. When we asked them to clean the room they said they only do it every 5 days. All in all it was just a really odd stay.

I had to wait until the fourth day of my stay to get clean towels and housekeeping despite requesting them every day.

Their site advertised a pool, when we got there there was no pool. Staff was OK. But got in the room and there was no microwave, so we had to use the microwave out in the lobby and it was dirty. Also when they vacuumed, there was dirt underneath my side of the bed. Plus when we got in the room the smell of Febreze was so strong it gave you a headache. We were there for two days and the smell lingered during the whole time. so overall the stay in the hotel was meh at best.

Still a nice stay in Frederick. Pool is currently under construction currently. Of disappointment was the bistro being closed on a Saturday evening. The employee working the shift called out. Night manager was very accommodating and welcoming!

We were only there for one night, so it's hard to provide detailed feedback. The room was fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. No complaints!

The concierge was mediocre (didn't even point us into he direction of our room), housekeeping forgot us the first day and even again after apologizing for the first time. The restaurant was closed our entire stay without any notice, so we had to go out to eat after a 5 hour drive. I didn't find out about about the pool and hot tub being closed until I got there. I have had better stays at hotels for half the price.

Usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when in Frederick, MD (at least twice a year), but discovered online that the rooms at this Courtyard have windows that open, allowing fresh air into room. This was the only reason I booked at the Courtyard, last stay at Hilton room was very stuffy and smelled dusty. Found the Courtyard to be a great hotel, clean modern rooms, in much better shape than the Hilton. This Courtyard will be my new go-to hotel when visiting family in Frederick, MD.

Great location with walking distance to dining and shopping. Very easy access from 270. Great parking at hotel. Breakfast options at hotel are limited but there are good options very close by. Hotel is clean. Property condition is starting to show wear.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was not serviced well nor cleaned. Trash was emptied and beds were made but dirty washcloths left in room, no evidence of vacuuming, nor sink being cleaned. Probably the worst for me was I was taking a shower and went to use the body wash, which was EMPTY! At that point, already in the shower and on a time schedule, I had to use shampoo as body wash. Not cool especially for a reputable hotel like Marriott. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and no extra blanket was provided, which became an issue when one guest needs cooler air and the other needs warmth.

Great room with balcony. Hotel was lovely but in-house breakfast was pricey, especially as it was counter service and not even a full restaurant. Pillows and bed provided little support.

Would like to know why I was charged 150.00 extra for my room and I paid you 402.00 for my room can you explain the hidden fee for 3rd party booking

Convenient to shops and restaurants, we would stay here again. Room was comfortable and quiet . I would like to have a microwave in the room; a better placement of the TV so we could watch from the bed would be nice also.

We come down to Frederick regularly to visit our daughter and this is definitely the nicest hotel we've stayed in. We just need a place to sleep, so we're not looking for much. But the room was very clean, as was the entire hotel. Nothing looked like it needed updating or repairs as we've seen elsewhere. Hotel was very quiet. We've stayed in some with super paper thin walls and this was certainly not the case. Room wasn't the biggest we've ever had, but was a nice size and the bed not being up against an adjoining wall was a very nice plus. Staff was super friendly and helpful. This will probably be our go to place from now on.

This was one of those stays where the few things that could go wrong did go wrong. I only stayed for two nights but for some inexplicable reason my room was never cleaned after the first night and when I woke up on the second morning there was no hot water and the phone in my room did not work so I had to wait on hold for 10 minutes trying to call the front desk through my cell phone. I was offered a complimentary breakfast, but a free scone doesn't really make up for not being able to shower prior to a business meeting.

Great location for what we needed. We could walk to several restaurants for dinner. Parking was free and convenient.

Terrible experience at this hotel. $150 security deposit not mentioned on the website that won’t be returned for up to 5 business days. Mask policy not being enforced in public areas made me concerned for the safety of my girlfriend and I. Television in the room didn’t work and bathroom did not appear clean. Will not return to this hotel or Marriott in general in the future.

We were pleased with our stay. The room was exactly as described online. Hotel was clean and room was clean. We asked for extra towels and they were brought right up to our room and still warm. We've already booked our next stay.

The beds were hard as rock and the pillows were paper thin with no support. We normally love Marriott hotels but this location was awful. They also don’t have basic things in the room like a coffee pot.
