Franklin Marriott Cool Springs

Very disappointed to have to pay to park as I stayed here last month and was not charged for parking. At a rate of $200+ I would expect to have free parking especially a parking lot owned by the hotel. So disappointing .

Awesome stay was charged for the breakfast even though I had the breakfast cards but place was nice, gym area , area surrounding weather was great

I’d recommend staying here only if necessary until these issues are addressed. The property is expecting renovations in the near future, so hopefully that will also bring improved cleanliness standards.

The staff was friendly. Everything was disgusting. First of all, they were doing a lot of construction, which had everything closed off. Also, everything in the room was gross. There was old food from the people before us. There was Hair left in the shower and all over the bathroom floor. Everything was so disgusting. None of it have been cleaned. Was not a good value at all.

The restaurants and staff were amazing. The beds were smaller than a queen and very uncomfortable. The rooms were the smallest I have rented and twice the price I normally pay. Getting in touch with the hotel prior to the conference was impossible and very frustrating. 17 emails and numerous calls,and never did reach a person working in Franklin.

The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. The facility and indeed the room were as clean as could be. This is just an older building with older facility issues - seemingly low water pressure; the "feel good" extra lock on the door didn't work, with marks showing the for had been forced open a few times (the deadbolt worked just fine); the room, although spotless, just smelled stale; all the electric sockets had no grip pressure left, and plugs fell out of them if looked at wrong. But again, it's an older facility. Never felt unclean, and was a nice place to stay the night.

The room was worn out- the bathroom cabinets needed to be cleaned/wiped down. There was a place where it had chipped and someone just colored it in with a marker instead of repairing it. It was fine, but it wasn't what I expected for the price per night.

The hotel looks nice when you walk in. But the room could have used some updating. The toilet, which ran off and on all the time, is definitely made for shorter people. I basically had to fall onto it. The sheets were scratchy. And the room was hot at night even though I turned the thermostat way down. When I realized the refrigerator wasn't cold, I had turned it up to make it colder and then I realized it wasn't plugged in hours after I put my food in there. The sink made a very loud high pitched sound when it was turned it on. But, the shower was great. The hotel was nice. The staff was nice. Also, the courtyard is a little depressing. So much could be done with that area.

Would stay again, pricey though, even after military, senior or corporate discounts.

This property was very clean and the staff were exceptionally nice. Our stay was enjoyable. We only wish the beds were queen sized rather than double.

Stayed at the Marriott for a conference that was held there. The hotel and room was very clean, had everything we needed. Every staff member that we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet and drinks at The Stave (the hotel restaurant) were great and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying when in the area!

Room gets warm even when air is turned down low. It was clean but could use some updating. You can hear people pretty easily and doors slamming shut.

We were surprised that the hotel of this caliber didn’t include breakfast. Also, I asked the hotel staff at the time of booking if they could decorate our room some since this was where we chose to stay for our wedding night.

The stay is what I would say was "Good". The issues are that, the toilet flapper valve needed replacing. It kept filling up after leaking. Which, we would press the flapper down to stop it from leaking. We had to do this three times. We didn't bother with it, when leaving hoping the maid service would notice it, and report it to maintenance. We didn't know if the breakfast was free or there was a charge, therefore, we didn't partake in it. You should put it somewhere more noticeable if it was free or not. Overall, the room was very clean. And the bar was an excellent. It was not excellent, but "Good"

The room was amazing. Shower and room comfort great. Pillows were little flattened when used not firm enough for my comfort. Would have loved to have microwave to reheat food. Safety is big to me and I felt very safe.

Clean property, but the staff was not very attentive or friendly. The room was fine, but half the outlets did not work, the toilet was extremely loud when flushed, and there was a constant ticking noise in the bathroom that became very annoying. Expected more at this property. 3/5

I stayed one night at this property,the pipes in the room were making a lot of noise and we called front desk,they said we will send someone to look at it but it got to 10 pm no one showed up then we went to sleep,also the sink was clogged and water was not going down,when I checked out the manager there could careless and don’t even care what experience we had,DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL, you are wasting money,will never ever go back to any Marriot just because the staff was so rude

Some portions of the room were a little worn. The carpet transition was frayed and looked awful. The standing lamp did not work.

I was very disappointed that the thermostat controlled only the fan. Nashville was experiencing record heat and the room never got below 72, and that was at 3AM. VERY uncomfrtable

Neatly situated, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Short walking distance to a fun little bar that stays open til 3 am. Clean, nice rooms and facilities. Best hotel fitness center I’ve ever seen. Staff is accommodating and professional. Hotel bar could use a few more draft beer choices and most of the usb chargers in the lounges don’t work but that’s no biggie. Great laid back quality spot for “hotel therapy” for those too busy for a real vacation in these weird times. That’s why I went anyway.

Air conditioner/heater wasn’t working when we got in the room. I called the front desk. Tech was at my door in 5 minutes. Heater was on in 10 minutes. Everything else was perfect.

Did not get the room I had reserved which was extremely disappointing.

Our stay went very well. The hotel seems to have been recently updated however the quality was not the best. I could use a few touch-ups in the room we were in. The bed was horrible. But overall, the stay was well. Would I stay again? Yes, but it wouldn't be my first choice but differently, a great option.

Property well maintained however the rooms themselves we very dated, needed remodeled. Bathroom cabinets were scratched up, appeared aged. Pool was under construction that was not made known on the booking website. Restaurant was wonderful and Staff was friendly and helpful, however, not worth $200 a night.

The staff , and even guests, were amazing. I had an emergency - my autistic grandson ran out of our room-- twice! I made the front desk aware and gave them a description. She alerted other staff. I also spoke with a security guard for a wedding and a few guests. All said they would keep an eye out for him. He had heard the music from the wedding and had headed toward that. He was found,first by the security guard and the second time by a guest. Everyone was so helpful.

The hotel was very easy to find, parking was easy and convenient. The hotel was clean, although undergoing construction. My room was very cute and clean, however there were some snacks from a previous occupant and some lightbulbs were out. The ladies at the front desk who checked me in were absolutely fabulous. I was traveling with a small child and had alot of bags and one girl helped me unload my car and helped me bring my things into my room and gave me a list of local eateries. Unfortunately it was the opposite on my way out. They people at the front desk refused to help me. One man claimed they were too busy with checkouts but there was no one around checking out. In fact he stood behind the desk and watched me struggle with many bags in a cart and a small child in my arms. He didnt even offer to open the door. It was very disappointing for someone in the hospitality industry.

Overall a good stay. It was not up to Marriott standards that I have experienced in the past. We stayed two nights. we asked the front desk to replenish the coffee in the room for use the next morning. It never arrived. The hallway to the room was very cold, probably low 60 degrees and blowing strong. The buffet breakfast was okay. The buffet lunch for our group could have been set up at the entrance to the dining area instead of the breakfast food area for better and faster serving of the food. The line to get to the food was quite long and moved slow due to the layout. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was nice! The only negative thing I have to say is that there’s only one HVAC vent in the hotel room, and it’s right by the window. Needless to say, the circulation sucks. There’s also no ventilation whatsoever in the bathroom, which is a little gross if you want to shower or use the restroom.

Room was never serviced. No maid service. No coffee to be found any place.

Convenient to the freeway. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Good neighborhood for an evening walk, but the speed of traffic on the boulevard type road was surprising.

My husband and I went on a little staycation for his birthday. Overall the hotel was nice and very clean. It’s definitely more business savvy then romantic, so probably would book at a different place next time. Felt more generic like a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn rather then as fancy as the pictures look.

Well situated for all local businesses, shopping etc, Many restaurants within easy walking distance, although the bar/restaurant at the hotel itself is really excellent. Great gym and pool facilities. Room was spacious and well appointed. with all the amenities we needed. My only 'gripe' is the annoying voice announcement in the elevator for each floor and the pillows were not too comfortable.

Beds were uncomfortable and bottom sheets didn't fit. Ended up sleeping on the mattress cover half the time. Asked to be changed and the second set was even worse.
