Nice hotel, staff were friendly and the checking in and out process was easy. The Pool was well maintained and the breakfast was very good.

The Ayers FV property is outstanding in all aspects. Stay-cation or Vacation, this property makes the time away really enjoyable. All of the amenities, either in room or at the property in general, are excellent.

The property is centrally located to Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and so much more. Close to the freeway with easy access but no freeway noise. Very soft bed. TV was easy to navigate. Nice breakfast.

I have stayed at this Ayres many times, and one of the reasons I kept going back despite it being far more expensive than the hotel across the street is because the service warranted it. You forgot something? They'll get you a small sample. Need a bottle of water or two? Right at the front desk. Not any more, just be prepared to pay for every little thing. Unfortunate that the hotel would rather lose a few thousand a year in overnight business stays over a couple bottles of water, but that's their business model I guess.

I greatly enjoyed the quality of the building. Once in my room for the night it was quite and relaxing. I couldn't hear the normal door slamming and never heard people talking or there tvs from other rooms. Overall my experience was great and I definitely would stay there again .

Breakfast was great. It was just a bit too noisy (plenty of school kids with their parents occupied at least half of the hotel). Overall it was still a pleasant stay.

The hotel is clean, and the rooms are more spacious than those in many other hotels. Breakfast is decent, though the selection is limited. The staff, however, is not very friendly. Although check‑in is supposed to be at 3 PM, the room wasn’t ready, and it seems common for them to have excuses. Don’t count on having your room available right at 3 PM.

Mother .Ayers is down the street from her assisted living facility. We love staying there we appreciate the microwave for leftovers . The staff is A + …

Was a nice stay. Easy location with parking, breakfast & hot tub which met all my criteria. However, the tennis team really wanted to do some laps in pool & soak in hot tub but it wasn't heated enough to enjoy. The hotel didn't have enough food options and breakfast was underwhelming. So we had to get out for food several times. Overall it was fine, we were there for one night only.

Breakfast should have been a longer time frame. Its too short it should be till 10am.

This is a beautiful very clean hotel. My husband kept saying this is a five star hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the dining room area was very clean. We will definitely stay here again or in any of their hotels.

The Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach was the cleanest hotel we have every stayed in! The room was spacious and had all the needed amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and free, and the property was easy to find. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast provided by hotels, a mix of hot items, cereal, and baked goods.

My family and I have stayed here a handful of times and every time, we leave feeling great. The rates are reasonable. A few of the main reasons we choose this hotel aside from the fair pricing is 1) proximity to everything (it is less than a 20 mins drive to Knott’s Berry as well as Disneyland and we love the restaurants nearby); 2) free parking; 3) cleanliness; 4) the free breakfast (we absolutely love that they offer Asian porridge on Saturdays!). I don’t have any complaints about this hotel whatsoever. Even the staff are truly amazing!

Breakfast was excellent, good protein options each day, as well as being family friendly. All of our staff encounters were friendly and positive. When the fan in our A/C unit broke, it was addressed immediately and fixed within 20 minutes. We highly recommend this hotel.

The staff does a great job to see our stay is away the best. We alway stay here when were going to be in town for a few days. The hotel is also so clean inside and the outside area.

The buidling was well kept. The outside had lush green plants and flowers that perfumed the area. Even though the hotel is near the freeway, you could not hear any noise. We pool and jacuzzi were in good condition. Our room was quite large. Everything was very clean and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was great each morning and freshly prepared. The food wasnt just frozen warmed in a microwave. We saw them cooking eggs on the kitchen stove. All the breakfast items were fresh. The coffee was good. Everybody that we came across, working at Ayres was friendly. We will stay here again when we come to this area.

As always, this property is well-maintained, attractive, and has friendly helpful staff. My only complaint is you are not allowed to take food to your room. I understand it helps with cleanliness, but there is also no room service so if you want to take a relaxed morning having breakfast in your room, you are out of luck.

Good variety of breakfast to choose from in their complimentary breakfast. Plenty of parking. We stayed there to move our daughter and they allowed to park our pickup / uhaul trailer crosswise (3 parking spots). This the nicest of all the Ayers we've stayed in. Will definitely return.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly.. only thing is they don't allow their food up to the room. I had surgery bear by and would of loved to be able to have some breakfast the day after. i don't think it’s any different than buying food and bringing it up. So that made no sense to me. But everything else was nice.

I stayed there often but this time is not as great as before since I had no Internet for the whole stay of 2 days and 1 day with no heat.

Our room was absolutely spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable and the linens crisp and white. We had a fabulous stay at the Ayers Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach. The hotel is located in a great area with many restaurants and shops. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and plentiful. Joel at the front desk was so kind and helpful when we arrived and he remembered us and said hello each and every time we returned to the hotel. 10/10 highly recommend for this stay! We will definitely stay at the Ayers on future trips to SoCal.

Asked for a refund for cancellation never received, spoke with hotels.com who spoke with hotel to receive no show charge as I couldn’t make the trip. Speaking with the hotel is not a pleasant experience cause they tell you they can’t help you to contact the company you book reservations with. Has gone past the refunds days, still waiting for it. Not sure if I will get, will never stay at this hotel again or use hotels.com

Staff was great and rooms were clean and taken care of. They use the kitchen area for continental breakfast at night and have a bartender. Drinks were great but pricier than expected. Pool terrace area was very pretty and the gym was spacious. Only negatives was the room I was in it took almost 15 minutes of running the shower for it to turn warm. Additionally they offer complimentary coffee but no hot water or tea. So I had to keep asking for hot water. Overall I would still recommend for comfortable stay in a beautiful area.

The bad, the whole first floor smelled like a chemicals and chlorine cleaner. The room has an old smell to it and felt like the window needs to be opened to air out the place. The walls are kind of thin and you could hear when people walk above you but it wasn’t too loud. The staff including the breakfast crew were very friendly and nice. For the price point, it was not a bad place to stay but for a longer stay next time, definitely looking to stay elsewhere that is more up to date and fresher smell paying extra. I would stay here again if there are no other options around the price point.

I think this is one of the best hotels I have been to. Very clean, totally comfortable bed, and great jacuzzi. The breakfast was delicious and such a wide selection. Plenty of parking and unlike other nearby hotels, it’s free. The best part was how professional all the staff was and David in the reception desk was accommodating with early check in. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This is our second stay at an Ayres hotel and we were impressed both times. The hotel was very clean, large rooms and the service was excellent. It is next to the highway but we couldn’t hear it when inside our room. They have a nice sitting area outside the dining room, including a fire table. Our only complaint is the breakfast. It was decent but it was the same exact hot breakfast every day which is tedious when you’re staying there for a few days.

The room were very clean and smelled so nice. The Shampoo and Conditioner were so nice I didn’t even use my own. The breakfast had a lot of different options. Parking was easy and felt safe with the Police station next door. Staff was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be staying there again.

For some reason, they felt as though they have to put us in a handicap bathroom room, and the shower was very mediocre. It still had a step in tub, but the shower handled it was mounted on the wall would only face toward the curtain, so it was very awkward.

Housekeeping must have doused the room with a perfume spray just before we arrived. We had to leave the room -- our eyes were stinging. Fortunately it dissipated before we returned or we would have asked for a room change. I aways wonder what the hotel is trying to mask -- smoking? bad plumbing? -- when they do that. Ayers was clean, breakfast above average, free parking and while we saw no canine guests, always glad to share space with puppos.

Everything was good except I couldn’t get quality night sleep due to too loud air conditioning. Every time it came on it sounded like the whole building is in a rocket launching..

Always clean and roomy....comfy bed. Large desk along with couch and coffee table. Large area in sink space ....countertop by sink is large and there is another large countertop above the fridge to keep my ice and snacks.

When I travel to Huntington Beach to visit family, I stay at the Ayres Hotel. The staff is always friendly, room & other areas of the hotel are clean, it's convenient & in a safe area.

Fire alarms at 1:30 am. False alarm. No hot water for 24 hours. No communication at all. Front desk pretended they had no clue what was going on. A complete and total rip off. Too bad the front desk is a joke. The hotel is very clean and nice

Ayers Hotel Fountain Valley is a fabulous option if you need a room in Orange County.

Very nicely maintained hotel. Room was spacoius,clean,the bed very comfortable. Nice outdoor area with a fire pit. Breakfast very nice with a variety of items. Room was very quiet despite several soccer teams staying there.

Quiet, nice staff, free breakfast (it's good, too!). Convenient to leave the premises with a quiet back road. Would stay there again.

We were there for one night, before a cruise out of Long Beach. Hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good. Great location & I would stay again.

The front desk employees were extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. The facility was CLEAN everywhere. The rooms smelled lovely! The breakfast options were limited but available. I’ll be staying there again when in the area! Also very close to the Huntington Beach Sports Complex so easy and comfortable when staying for a baseball tournament

Two queen room (facing Slater) was big and clean and quiet. Hotel also had fire doors. The elevators worked well - no long waits. Ample free parking (especially in the back). Right next to freeway and police station.

I loved the breakfast everything was great

All around very pleasant stay. Friendly staff at all levels. Only one issue for me it woul be nice if the toilets with the walk in showers have hand rails in the shower and near toilets

We thought it would be a typical hotel stay. We were in town for 10 days for the PGF softball tournament. There was a lot of softball games, beach time, and team outings. The cleaning staff was patient and understanding. If there wasn’t softball dirt everywhere, there was beach sand. We returned to change during a room cleaning and they were very understanding. We also LOVED Joel at the front desk. He was shy, but I think it was because I was very outgoing. He was friendly and answered any questions. He gave recommendations and was just a pleasant person. All the staff were great. There was one woman that wasn’t very friendly, but I figured she was too busy to greet us. Breakfast wasn’t delicious, but we appreciated it was available, free, and early since we had to be at the field by 7am each day. It is right off the 405 and near everything. Location was perfect for what we had to do while we were there. We recommend Chicken Miason, and Zubies Dry Dock, and The Hangout, so good. I don't want to recommend this hotel, only because I don’t want it to get filled with so many people that I won’t be able to get a room. Haha. Thank you Ayres for giving us a great experience.

Everything about it was excellent. Super clean. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. The only thing I thought was too new-fangled for me was using the room key to turn the lights on. By the time we checked out, I had it figured out. Lol! I would absolutely stay there again.

I usually stay here every time I travel to the area for work. It's close to work and lot's of places to eat. My only complaint is the breakfast. For someone who is on a plant based diet, my option is typically oatmeal. They use instant oatmeal packs and only 1 of the 5 days had a regular pack. The rest were all sugary packs. I wish they would cook oatmeal and provide toppings.

Ayres Fountain Valley is such a lovely hotel! I typically choose my normal chain hotels for points and skeptical about booking with chains I’m not familiar with. But after reading all of the positive reviews, I am so glad I booked here! It is impeccable clean and managed from the moment you walk into the lobby and into your room. Great smell, too, even in the rooms. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet is a great perk with plenty of seating in the dining room and patio. The bed and linens are comfortable. It’s very convenient to many places in the area and a quick drive to all the nearby beaches. Even though it’s right off the freeway, I was never bothered by any noise. Free self parking in a safely lit area is also nice. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Orange County.

Was greeted when i walked in but was treated with attitude, most likely the check in attendant was in a bad mood, but thats no excuse to relay onto the guests. Other than that, the property is good, breakfast is okay, cleanliness was the best part.

This was one of the nicest high quality hotels I’ve ever been to for an amazing rate per night. The breakfast was fantastic as was having the hot tub and lounge area! I will be returning!

I booked this hotel because I had surgery at the nearby hospital. Therefore, my most important requirements were ice and tv. The ice machine was great! The tv was not great. At first it didn't work, and the desk tried to accommodate me by giving me a new remote and even changing rooms. It still didn't work. The maintenance guy came the next day and reset the tv and told me they were planning on replacing the old tvs (they didn't even stream or cast). The breakfast was good, and the pool area was nice.

We had a 2 Queen Bed room and it was very spacious for my family of 4 with a partition wall between the two beds that provided privacy for my wife and I away from our kids.
