Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and convenient location near a park and various restaurants. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and modern decor, but some find the breakfast options lacking and the rooms a bit noisy due to thin walls and loud AC units.

This hotel had a recent remodel and it was very nice and very clean beds were comfy. Highly recommend it

Love the breakfast! A good selection to get the day started on a good note.
- 5/5
Since we were traveling with our teenage girls, the option of having 2 king beds in the room was awesome!
- 4/5
Room was great, mattress and pillows were comfortable, and I had a beautiful view of the fountain and mountains from my room. Breakfast options could be better.

Great location. Very clean and modern. Breakfast was modest, but ok.
- 3/5
Breakfast was 7-9 during the week. My daughter and I had to be up and out by 6:30, therefore we were unable to partake in the "free" breakfast. It would have been nicer if breakfast was from 6-9 on a weekday.

Very quiet! Very clean! Enjoyed the stay!

The stay was clean and staff was excellent.
- 5/5
Great service at front desk. They don't have a water park or a casino
- 4/5
Wry close to the fountain I asked to be close to my friends but they couldn’t accommodate
- 4.5/5
Good value and location for my needs.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay, clean, quiet, peaceful, relaxing...just what you need after a long day in Arizona. Will definitely stay here again!!! Next time we will make use of the beautiful outdoor pool. Breakfast was continental. They had some sausage, egg, cheese biscuits and burritos you could heat in the microwave along with some boiled eggs, and multi flavored yogurts for protein. Again, we will stay here again!
- 5/5
Excellent stay and very affordable considering it’s located in an area of upper class income. I’ll definitely stay here again. Very nice hotel.

- 5/5
Nice hotel especially for the price. Spacious rooms, decent amenities ok bathroom. Nice pool, hot tub and workout room. Only continental breakfast. All in all a good place to stay. We would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The water pressure in my sink was a trickle when I tried to get hot water. Luckily I was able to get hot water in the shower!
- 5/5
We love coming here with our kids. Always clean and feels safe. The pool and hot tub have a view of the fountains too. Breakfast is included and the staff is absolutely amazing.

Keep it up

Clean everywhere, nice breakfast, very kind staff, safe location, everything was great!
- 4/5
It’s by the fountain,so location. My 4 th stay and the beds are Always Super comfortable! Clean, easy in and out . I was supposed to have a room with view. I had a view of a wall. The other three times I stayed on the upper floor overlooking the lake and it was like magic. But then I should’ve complained and didn’t I needed a quiet room as I had early mornings . the room next to me played their TV loudly in the evening !! Kept me up till after midnight .again should I have complained? I didn’t .

Excellent location. Clean rooms and common areas. Laundry. Pool and hot tub. Day staff were good. Rooms were decorated penitentiary gray and black. Very depressing, could barely stand to be in there, plus lighting was dark—why? that trend is 10 years old. My thin bottom sheet ripped the first day, it never got changed, even though I had the room cleaned every day of my stay. I’m 68 years old and female, and I’ve never ripped a bottom sheet in my life. Your washer and dryer still make you use quarters instead of credit cards. Why? My room was as far from the WD as it could possibly have been, so I had to take my laundry all the way back to my room, drop it off, go back down to the desk, get the quarters, go back up to the room, get the laundry, and walk all the way back to the WD room. Nope. Not doing that again. Samsung Plus tv remote and system were terrible; even staff said it was slow system, channels above 1000 don’t work even though Guide on remote only goes to them. So no tv for three days. It’s not a boomer thing, so don’t go there. I retired from technology. Remember, Fountain Hills is a retirement community, so you should have made the TV tech friendly and accessible because travelers want it that way. Hot tub was hot the first day but cold on day two. I felt the jets with my hand and the water was ice cold, heat had obviously been turned down. Only choice would have been to get out, redress, walk through the community room, go to desk, clerk and go through a Q&A session. Too much hassle. Didn’t bother trying at the third day, because those reasons. The Scottsdale BW is better, or was a couple years ago. Maybe I will try there again, or maybe I’ll just go with another chain.

Great place to stay outside of Phoenix! Walking distance to the fountain and nearby restaurants. Clean room, good breakfast options, friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Pleasant surprise at how nice it was. It was half the price of we ko pa.
- 4/5
They charged me 50.00 to check in early even though the room was ready
- 5/5
Parker at the front desk is the best. Always polite, professional, and helpful!
- 4/5
Wonderful location, friendly staff, good value. While it’s an older facility, the people on staff are trying to make this stay as comfortable as possible. Couple of minor issues with an older AC unit, and the coffee machine that did not work, but otherwise they came through and tried to accommodate us. We will be back.
- 1/5
Poorly lit parking lot. Dirty.
- 5/5
Friendly staff Breakfast ok Parking safe
- 3.5/5
The rooms are your typical hotel rooms. The hallways had a peculiar odor to them, though everything was clean, staff was lovely and the location-- well, the location was really nice. It was close to the fountain and a small shopping mall where they had an Italian restuarant and a terrific coffee shop. The odor in the hallway. The breakfast could have been a little more robust as well.

The staff Mike was above and beyond what we even expected, as well as front desk concierge Jason, these 2 people will have us definitely returning to your location even if it’s out the way. Had very very pleasant stay at horel
- 5/5
Everything was great!😊
- 4/5
The hotel has ample parking, was clean, two elevators, and offered breakfast each morning. While the breakfast isn't hot foods, there was a variety of microwavable sandwiches and a burrito option. The room we had was also spacious and clean.
- 3/5
The 1-bedroom suite was very cave-like, not sure if it was the lighting or that there was only 1 window or both. Switching to warmer and brighter light bulbs would go a long way. Our comforter had some stains on it and the room was a little beat up. The staff were the highlight of the experience, they were super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with a neighboring room blasting music at 1:30 am and once the staff were aware of it, they took care of it immediately. The continental breakfast was adequate, nothing crazy but was enough to get going in the morning. The location of the hotel is great, we easily walked to the fountain and the park and the craft show with 5 kids.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean comfortable and in great condition. And the staff very friendly I was very impressed and I will be staying at that place again on our next vacation to Arizona. Breakfast was good and parking was good.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean, nice room!
- 2/5
Staff was not friendly or helpful. Cleaning of room was very minimal and didn’t even wash dishes in kitchenette.
- 4.5/5
The only thing missing from our room was a view.

Great staff. The only thing I would recommend is getting the 2nd elevator fixed. Have to wait on one very small elevator is frustrating.

Clean, up-to-date hotel in a great location.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 4/5
noise in halls
- 3/5
The breakfast was minimal. Much better breakfast offerings can be found in hotels that are much less expensive. I rate it as poor.
- 5/5
Great stay 5stars

Staff could have been a little more friendly.. property was clean and neat.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great friendly staff, great views.

The room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and felt great on a hot day!
- 5/5
Perfect property, great staff
- 5/5
The cleanliness and staff was great.
- 5/5
The front desk staff is extremely shy, uncommunicative, not interested in customers. They barely say 2 words upon check in, check out, when you walk by the front desk. Mikey in the breakfast area however is great - pays attention to details and is pleasant.
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk Tyra was fantastic and very welcoming.
- 5/5
Really a great small hotel. We are in town for Mayo Hospital, and this is a great location at a very reasonable price. Fountain Hills is really great. Upscale, great restaurants, a very nice sports bar a block away.
- 3/5
I had a really bad problem at the end.with one off the staff.
- 5/5
No housekeeping unless booking day before
- 4/5
Room was nice and spacious. Only issue was a musky smell maily in bedroom area. Had to change rooms.
- 5/5
We had a lovely stay here. The staff was nice and everything was clean. You have to request housekeeping but that wasn’t a problem for us. The area is lovely, had no problems with parking even with an event across the road. Nice seating areas around the pool.
- 3/5
Lighting in room poor. One very small bottle of shampoo one conditioner one soap - I was a single Don't know what a couple or family would do. Room smelled when I checked in.
- 5/5
Great location. Quiet.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Close to everything!
- 5/5
It was great! We enjoyed being so close to the park.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful!!
- 5/5
Very nice...great location...friendly staff!
- 4/5
Room was clean. However, an open, partially consumed bottle of water was left in the refrigerator.
- 5/5
Great location. Easy access. Staff very helpful.
- 3/5
Several areas of hotel need repaired and updated. Water in outdoor spa was yellow and had a foul odor which unfortunately we didn't realize until we'd already entered. Hopefully nobody gets sick.
- 4.5/5
Outdoor area was fabulous Poor internet connection
- 5/5
The milk was bad the and the breakfast room was small.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Just what I wanted, night clerk was very helpful
- 1/5
Location, that's about it. There was a large cockroach aka, palmetto bug in the bathroom which I killed myself since it was in the middle of the night. I let reception know and they said the would notify manager but got no response. Acknowledgement of issue. There was no water pressure at all in the shower and took forever or water to heat up. The internet did not work, (circle of doom kept spinning and TV did not connect due to internet). Needed internet for work. Will not reserve there again. Front desk was nice but did not report issues to Manager although they said they would.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very basic.
- 4/5
The hotel is doing the usual, not clean everyday. Which most people understand today. However,r they were to clean every two days and it was not scheduled. I had to go and get new towels. There were areas where dust built up behind furniture, bulbs, etc., Overall clean, but, could be improved.
- 5/5
Clean room staff was friendly. The breakfast room was nice.
- 3/5
I stayed there before and it was nice. This was a different experience. The shower was not clean and the water didn’t get very hot and the shower pressure was low. The rest of the room was clean but it didn’t have the same friendly feel as the last stay.
- 4/5
Place is good & clean. Staff very friendly, will stay again on my next trip to AZ.
- 5/5
Perfect location for our needs.
- 4/5
Breakfast offered was average, the family I traveled with had special food needs and those not offered, (gf, vegan)
- 5/5
Jason at the front desk was super friendly. We were in town for an event and the location was super close. Also walkable to restaurants and a nice lake across from the hotel.

Very small room and far from sound proof. You can hear EVERYTHING in adjacent rooms and through the ceiling from the room above. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, so every noise in there is shared with everyone around you. If the bathroom door is left open, it gets hit by the room entry door, and it must the same way in other rooms. The guest in the room above ours arrived around 10 PM, pounded across the floor numerous times for at least an hour, and slammed both the entry door and the bathroom door multiple times. Then, this upstairs guest got up at 3 AM and repeated the whole process over again! Couple this with the constant grinding noise from the refrigerator in our room, and the intermittent high pitched whistling noise from the air conditioner, and you can conclude that staying at a cheaper motel would have been a better experience for us.

nice work out room for size of property; good breakfast selection and the rooms were clean wifi is very slow so have an alternative if you plan on working; rooms are a nice size but only have 1 chair (outside of desk chair) which looked and felt strange when most often there are 2 people in a room
- 5/5
The location of the hotel was very close to where our event was being held. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We did not use the pool/outdoor area due to the weather, but it looked very nice. The breakfast was not a normal hotel breakfast that I am used to at hotels. Also, the breakfast area is very small and it felt like we were stepping on each other. The breakfast was okay with breakfast sandwiches, fruit and pastries.
- 5/5
We had a great day at this hotel! There was only one regular coffee for a room for four people, but they said if you need more they will bring us more.

Clean place and nice Aesthetics Walls and roof are paper thin, I spent the whole night listening to other people walking and having s*x all night long, bed was in bad shape and I couldn’t sleep. If you are looking to rest from a long travel this is not the place.
- 1/5
The staff seemed to not want to help at all, seemed bothered to have to come out of the back room. The room itself smelled like smoke and cleanser chemical and was extremely humid. My elderly mother couldn’t stay there and we had to leave and find other lodging.

We stayed for over a week and booked through Expedia. We had requested a room with a view of Fountain park but were unable to do so since we didn't book with the hotel directly. Once we arrived it would've been nice to have a room with more light it was very dark. Everything was spotless though and we had all we needed to do light shopping and keep our food for lunches and stuff. Room Service is at request only, which we didn't realize until the 3rd day or so. It is written in tiny letters on the mirror in the room and it wasn't told to us on check in. Not a huge deal but would've nice to have that part more clear. The staff wasn't overly friendly or accommodating, but that's fine. And the reviews we saw about the smell of cleaning supplies and Mike staring at you at breakfast were both not an issue at all. The location was good since we did a lot of hiking and wanted to be central to drive places and Fountain Hills area is so cute! The park is wonderful we played disc several times and there was a tournament going on which was cool to see. The restaurants were great which we enjoyed a few nights. If you want pool time in January be sure to dedicate a day to it at the hotel because coming back after 4pm from a day of hiking, there will be no more sunshine at the pool the way the hotel is designed. Sun is from about 11-3ish so we missed out on sun time and laying out unfortunately. The day we finally carved out for pool time was cloudy.

Clean room, amazing location. I didn’t “love” staying near the front desk and breakfast room because it was noisy from staff very early but honestly, I was extremely tired and never sleep well away from home. I would absolutely book there again. Stones throw from shopping, restaurants and the Fountain. Great location.
- 4/5
The Hotel was newly remodeled, clean, quite and walking access to resturants. The breakfast sccess was not good. They should advertise as "muffins with stay" not "free breakfast".
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. I noticed was how well thought out the room & amenities were. From the homey furnishings & room layout to the breakfast I felt like a valued guest. The breakfast room was such a nice surprise after expecting the usual ordinary choices. Good coffee too. I will be back soon!
- 4/5
Room, pool, and lobby were clean and spacious. Staff was great and very helpful. The toiletries were also nice. I especially appreciated the dark makeup towel that was provided. Workout room was clean and offered a good variety of equipment. Neighborhood was safe and walking friendly, with a beautiful large space to walk around and visit little shops all around. It is a bit of a drive from the PHX Airport, but well worth it and the roads were fairly straight forward. Wanted to give four and a half stars, but this only allows four.
- 5/5
Very nice. Great location.
- 4/5
Always appreciate the cleanliness and the staff's helpfulness and friendliness.
- 5/5
Clean, quality room with GREAT location for our wants and needs! Helpful staff completed all requests quickly. Definitely a return visit!
- 5/5
Amazing location, nice staff, good location and great price!
- 5/5
Breakfast needs more items. Comparable hotels have hot eggs, bacon, and/or sausages. Also, guest rooms should have full bottles of shampoos and conditioner. Otherwise, the decor is fantastic and modern! Nice place to stay!
- 5/5
A wonderful environment with a friendly staff and a great location.
- 4/5
Laundry was a life saver! Front desk was very helpful.
- 4/5
The room i was in had been nicely remodeled. The decor was well chosen and they had plenty of space for your items. I would suggest that the company invest in door peep hole covers. Biggest Con: the breakfast was awful. Even the yogurt wasn't a healthy option. It is very basic and I honestly expected more from this hotel, especially given the price to stay. One other odd thing was, at check-in I wasn't given any info about when breakfast was or how to log into the wifi and there was nothing in the room or on the key card sleeve. Overall, as a single traveller, I had a nice stay and I felt very safe being there and walking around the area, even at night.
- 5/5
Great place and so close to the community center and everything else! Room was amazing, and it was bigger than I expected. Full size fridge / had a mini kitchen with dishes and everything. Friendly staff at the desk.
- 5/5
We do this trip every year we love staying with them. They're a great place to stay.
- 1/5
Our guest had no water pressure in their shower and since the hotel was full they could not do anything and she could not take a shower for the first day and they offered to move her the days after but she was already settled into the room and when we checked out they refused to comp the first night and were extremely rude about it. I would not recommend this place and we will put our guests someplace else from now on!
- 4/5
In room 203, the refrigerator made a loud, regenerating noise during the night on occasion.
- 5/5
The room I had was beautiful and filled with many amenities. Would love to stay there again. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It was a restful and quiet night ..... exactly what we needed.
- 5/5
spotless great facility will stay again

Spotless and very courteous.
- 5/5
Great room with view of fountain
- 5/5
All great!
- 5/5
When checking in, staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10. Check-in was quick.
- 5/5
Dana and the day staff are all very exceptional in their kindness and patience with myself at check in and check out and observations and listening as I walked thru the lobby. The property is very clean and well kept with lots of lighting. Stones throw from Fountain Hills park and the downtown venue. The room was clean and beautiful with a coffee maker, big freezer compartment and refrigerator for a dorm size refrigerator and a nice Kurig style coffee maker that had both french roast coffee and earl grey tea. Plenty of outlets to charge mobile devices and electronics with outlets and usb ports. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of continental breakfast items, juice, many types of yogurt and coffee. I liked the hotel for its hospitality, charm, quiet and spacious rooms and the people that serve here were top notch! Bravo! Get these people $$ raises, paid days off and stock options! Well done!
- 4/5
Check in was smooth, the check in person was friendly, when we got to our room my family all smell this burnt or metally stinch it stunk bad, being we were exhausted driving 8 hrs we jus sprayed air freshners and crashed out not bothering to make a complaint or call attendant but throughout the night we smell and breath in the stinch, does hotel.com refund or credit something back? Other than that breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
Room was very quiet.
- 3/5
We were not offered a password for the WiFi, which was not convenient. Employee who checked me in didn’t seem to be very customer friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Beautiful view of the lake and fountain. Very helpful staff!
- 5/5
Courteous staff, quick check in/out, clean room.
- 5/5
Check in is always easy and the room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The staff was very courtesy and helpful.
- 4/5
Nice, quiet and peaceful. The pool is great. Thankful for the ice machine and filtered water. Convenient mini kitchen in the suite.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean!
- 5/5
Clean room; wooden floors
- 2/5
The room was ok. Breakfast was very odd. There was a guy who seemed to be the keeper of the food. Particularly the breakfast sandwiches. He watched them very closely and was very rude if he thought someone had too many. I decided to take my sandwich back to the room to heat and eat. After all, there was a microwave in the room. He followed me out of the breakfast room and down the hall, very upset with me that I took a sandwich with me. He must be paid very well to watch over the sandwiches as he took his job very serious. That turned me off from this hotel and I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others.
- 4/5
Overall experience was good, staff friendly. Plenty of parking. Nothing negative about the stay if 4 nights
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Rooms and property were clean and maintained.
- 4/5
Outdoor pool was not clean when we went to use it. Although there were some crazy storms that had come through the area it did not look as though someone cleaned the pool afterwards.
- 2/5
Was told that no hadicapped rooms were available, however there are no cars in the parking lot.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms.
- 3/5
The air conditioning wouldn't go below 74
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The bath towels could use an update, as ours had some stains on them. The breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. A hot breakfast would have been nice, but this continental breakfast had more options than most hotels that offer a minimal breakfast. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great deal. Always love this place
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and courteous!
- 3/5
The breakfast was extremely limited. It was basically cold cereal or a muffin and an apple. When I turned on the shower, the shower head flew off at me. There was no one available to fix it, so they put me in the room next door.
- 5/5
Breakfast was basic. Having a refrigerator with separate freezer and a microwave was nice. Pool and pool area were clean also! Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Great stay and great price
- 4/5
Nice hotel in a great location. Could use a little upkeep. Beds are pretty uncomfortable. Other than that not too bad.
- 4/5
Hotel is a great value and location. Only complaint is the mattress were pretty worn down both times we have stayed here and people coming in during the late hrs making noise. Maybe local construction crews getting off work which I totally understand.
- 5/5
Clean , comfortable
- 5/5
I totally like the hotel and staff. So quiet and peaceful. Thank you!
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Super clean and convenient. Only complaint would be the mattress was a little work down.
- 4/5
Very nice location. We visited Fountain Hills during top temperatures though and the air conditioning unit in our room was not sufficient. At 61* setting the room temperature was more like 75/80*. I also would not recommend a park view room during the summer as the heat beats down on the front window.
- 5/5
We have stayed at this location twice. It is very convenient for us . The staff is very nice and helpful Bill Eads CA
- 4/5
Very nice hotel and reasonable in price
- 2/5
The front staff was very friendly and prepared for our check in. We used the pool and hot tub and it was very refreshing and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable causing poor sleep. They could benefit from a mattress pad. The attendant at the breakfast area was incredibly rude and the options were basic. For the price it wasn’t bad but the service with the breakfast attendant would prevent us from ever staying again.
- 5/5
This was our second time staying at the Fountain Park Hotel. Love the location! The hotel is always clean and the free breakfast a bonus. The only suggestion I might make is that the hallways smelled a bit musty. Maybe install some scent diffusers/air fresheners?
- 4/5
The breakfast is all pre packaged items (egg/sausage Burritos and McMuffin type sandwiches you microwave). There was also: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, toast, juice, etc. There was not the little buffet line of fresh scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, or make your own waffles... Our only 2 complaints would be: 1) the lack of a secure and most importantly strong internet/WIFI signal. It was almost impossible to get and hold a signal from the room that was not as slow as molasses. 2) on extend stays they do not come in and tidy up your room a little or replace anything. If you need towels, soap, etc., the front desk has it. We would definitely stay here again as the rates were fair and the staff was helpful the few times we needed them. Plus, Fountain Hills is an interesting place...
- 4/5
Very clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Staff were very nice. I'm gluten free so there wasn't really anything for me to eat.
- 5/5
Beautiful property - very clean and convenient to everything in Fountain Hills!
- 5/5
Great stay!! Loved this place.
- 5/5
Pleasant
- 3/5
Hotel was in a good location. Waited for a hotel staff to show up for 5 mins because a sign said he was running an errand for another customer. Elevator is a little too stuffy for the luggage trolley. Hallways were pretty quiet, a little dim, and I did felt a little unsafe because there was no security cameras in the hallway besides one ring camera mounted on a wall near the laundry room. Room was clean, except shower floor and the fabric material on bed headboard was dirty. Disappointed the small refrigerator did not have a freezer. The AC barely worked with my room hotter than the hallway and front desk area. The baby crib (aka pack-in-play was clean and appears new). The wall paint and base board paint looks worn out/peeling. The black makeup face towel had lots of fuzz on it. The tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner is only enough to use one time. Did not have time to explore the outdoor pool. The free continental breakfast was quite simple with coffee, kids cafeteria-like small juice cups, milk stored in a coffee-like jug, three kinds of cereal, small yogurts, plastic utensils individually sealed to go, toast, bagel, distasteful cheap pastries, and once in a while those Jimmy Dean croissant sandwiches and small cheese egg burritos you will have to microwave yourself. It’s not the worst hotel but also nothing special; seems more like an in-between middle place to stop for the night.
- 5/5
Quiet and comfortable 😎
- 5/5
Leaving airport early next morning….the shuttle bus was full and on time
- 5/5
Great room with comfortable bed and pillows! Nice staff and breakfast!
- 5/5
Ery nice and clean room. Easy access to everything and goid breakfast.
- 5/5
We loved this property. Very clean, well maintained and in the quiet town of Fountain Hills. It is right across from the fountain and 2 awesome restaurants. Desk clerk was very courteous and friendly. We will be coming back.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel
- 5/5
we've been in quite a few hotels during our lifetime. Priced right for the elderly and very clean.
- 5/5
Very upscale property
- 5/5
We loved the fact it was clean and quiet. Plus it was next to restaurants, shops and the water fountain. Good spot to stay.
- 5/5
Love this place will stay again amazing clean great parking staff location !
- 5/5
It was great.
- 4/5
Loved the pool and breakfast
- 5/5
Another great stay at this hotel. Love the closeness to the park.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient staff, large amount of choices at breakfast, good bed.
- 5/5
Love this place! Been here about a dozen times! So quite and peaceful.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service.
- 5/5
Fantastic location. The park across the street is incredible. It has a great walking path around the pond, multiple playgrounds, and a splash pad as well as great restaurants and shops facing the water. The hotel itself is clean and quiet with comfortable rooms. We stayed here with our toddler and had a great time.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with good amenities.
- 5/5
Fountain Hills and The Fountain Park Hotel are a great place to stay away from the traffic and congestion near Phoenix and Scottsdale. Relaxing, no traffic in town, and convenient shopping and dining options. Our drive to the airport on Saturday morning took 35 minutes. We would do this again on a return visit to the Phoenix area.
- 2/5
Hair in the ice bucket. At breakfast the mictowave wasnt working and the employee in the room got snotty with me saying that I was doing it wrong.... the microwave started working correctly after being unplugged.
- 5/5
Very nice property. Ewife enjoyed pool.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and most of the staff very friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately, Jason the front desk person, was not very accommodating. He was a bit short on patience, did not communicate well, and was a little rude in the later hours. Othwr than that, it was a great stay. If you have the pleasure of meeting Daina (Diana?) At the front desk, she is amazing and made our stay near perfect.
- 3/5
Stayed here before and it has been really nice. This time I’m pretty sure a Sasquatch stayed in my room before I did, there was hair everywhere! There aren’t too many things that gross me out, but someone else’s hair all over the bathroom, on the towels, and on the bed puts me over the top. I also had to turn the fridge off because it was so loud. Also time for some new mattresses, it was pretty uncomfortable. I’ll stay here again on my next trip, just hope it’s a bald guy that stays in the room before me this time.
- 5/5
Air and water is good.
- 3/5
The mattress was so soft it sloped down at the top/edges. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallways.
- 5/5
We were on a 20-day, 2,000 mile road trip of National Parks, national monuments, Sedona, Moab, Taos, Santa Fe, and more. A comforting and relaxing first and last night at the Fountain Park Hotel was perfect, with a nice breakfast each morning. This hotel is located in Fountain Hills.......a very nice, quiet, and not crowded town, with a lake across the street that offers views of people enjoying nature and the outdoors. A Sports Bar Grill is one block away and was a nice place to enjoy dinner. The hotel met all of our needs, and we're glad we made the drive to Fountain Hills to get away from the noise and hustle around Phoenix during our vacation.
- 5/5
Beautiful area cute and modern clean stay
- 5/5
Was a very enjoyable stay at the hotel was in town for the fountain Hills car show got to the hotel early was no problem for the staff took care of all of our needs. Had an enjoyable one night stay will definitely be staying there again.
- 5/5
Hotel stay was very nice. Staff eas very friendly and accomodating. One suggestion, need lighting over the bathroom mirror.
- 5/5
Great hotel in the heart of town. It's across the street from the gorgeous fountain park. The Fountain could be seen from our room. Many restaurants and shopping are a block away. The staff was exceptional! Clean hotel and safe neighborhood. Free hot breakfast (breakfast sandwiches, burritos, fruit, juices, cereal, pasty, and so on...), comfy beds, large rooms. Pool and hot tub!!! We'll stay here again!!
- 4/5
The hotel is in a very nice area, which makes it safe. Near dining options, so you can walk to restaurants. Also, near to the Fountain Park for walking and for the car show which we attended.
- 4/5
Beautiful place, well kept. However, breakfast was subpar, to say the least. Dry goods, such as cereal, pastry… some fruits, yogurt. I was really disappointed, because by the aesthetic of the place I was expecting breakfast to similarly be more satisfying.
- 4/5
Local restaurants are close and easy to walk to. The fountain at Fountain Hills Park is a must see.
- 4/5
Easy place for a nice quiet stay. Great staff!
- 5/5
Facility was tucked in from area I was attending in Scottsdale but that was ok. Nice neighborhood location with craft stores, some shopping and park with events.
- 5/5
We arrived very early, room was not available, went o a car show, the front desk called us around 2 pm to say our room was ready. NICE!!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 4/5
Great spot in the middle of Fountain Hills. Walk to everything. The staff is very friendly. The grounds and common areas are clean. The rooms are spacious and comfy. I wish there were a sofa or loveseat in the room. There is space, and the armchair just wasn't as comfortable. Liked that they had streaming TV. I really wish they would reopen the restaurant. Breakfast is a disappointment, with only microwave or grab-and-go options. That is the only area for improvement. Will stay again.
- 2/5
Located in a beautiful area. Felt very safe. The smell was musty, especially in the rooms, and the breakfast dining was not what I expected. For the price, it was good. This is the place people go to save money.
- 5/5
We were in town for an event at their Community Center. It was perfect!
- 4/5
Fountain Park Hotel is located in Fountain Hills which is a nicer part of the valley. We stayed here in 2023 and it was ok but we had to leave early bc their pool got shut down by the county for being a health hazard and it was hot so we wanted to be and to swim. We decided to give this hotel a second try and it was ok this time. The pool and spa were both open and operating fine. The room here was pretty nice and cleaned well. It is true that they must use a lot of cleaning products here because the whole hotel smells pretty strong of chemicals, but it does seem to dissipate or maybe we just got used to it. We slept fine for the 4 nights that we were here. The gym here have basic machines, but the space is actually quite sufficient and larger than most hotel gyms. Finally, the breakfast improved from when it was just grab n go items with no breakfast room in 2023 to a sit-down small dining room with Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fruits (apples, bananas, and oranges), several kind of basic yoplait small yogurt cups, several kinds of basic breads, unhealthy but kid-friendly cereals such as fruit loops, raisin bran (ok healthy), Cheerios, and frosted flakes. There's also granola but the very basic kind no nuts. They also had prepkgd hard boiled eggs. You can microwave your own breakfast sandwich. The attendant was not friendly at all, so if you are a bigger breakfast eater or you bring a few items back to your room for your family/friends to eat, he stares you down.
- 5/5
I felt safe and the staff was helpful, and the Hospitality Breakfast was beyond a set up in quality and choices I would enjoy working there. I was a Hampton Inn Hospitalty service years ago, Thank you
- 4/5
Was a very nice stay and would definitely come back.
- 4/5
Nice place. Too much space underneath door to the room so you could hear people coming and going all day and night.
- 5/5
Love this place! It's very quiet and comfy. I have been going here for years for little staycations. The price has really gone up after their minor remodel. Hard to justify a $150 - $200 price for a room I used to get for $80 just 2 years ago.
- 5/5
Great service, clean, updated rooms and friendly staff. Thank you!😊
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, clean room and wonderful amenities. The hotel is close to shopping, entertainment and great restaurants.
- 5/5
Front desk clerk was very friendly
- 5/5
Very nice basic hotel!
- 4/5
Most of negative stuff I read is bogus
- 5/5
The property is very quiet and clean. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Definitely will be returning again.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very helpful. Fountain Hills is lovely.
- 4/5
Room was dark but that may be for cooling purposes.
- 4/5
Loved being across the street from the fountain park and dining walkable.
- 4/5
- 4/5
Hospitality was good. Continental breakfast was good in a clean room. Located directly across from the Fountain Park lake area.
- 5/5
Location was perfect. Right across the street from good restaurants
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay to hide from the business of life!
- 5/5
Great rooms, great pool area, great breakfast and great location!
- 5/5
The breakfasts were great for us, and though we did not use the in-room frig it was nice to know we could've, and the coffee maker and microwave were nice touches too. The staff made some good suggestions for a scenic drive out into the desert and there were numerous parks and possibilities along the way, and good restaurants near the hotel or a short drive away. We'd have no problems returning if in the area again.
- 2/5
Desk clerk apologetic and gave us new room. We settled in for the night and that is when the nightmare started. We were on the first floor and the room above us at 1030-11 PM just started marching from side to side until about 1-130 AM. Knowing it a hotel and they can’t control everything tried to let it go. At 430 AM it started again, I am a fairly heavy sleeper but loud enough to wake me. My Son and I tried to tolerate this and at 630 had our fill and my son went to the front desk because they would not answer the phone when I called using the phone in the room or my cell phone. My son when to the night desk clerk and the response was you should have came to me at 430 what am I suppose to do about it now. He said, “but we are still trying to sleep. The night clerk also the problem will be remedied they are checking out today. I then approached the day manager after we did get up explained the situation and she did say the night clerk should have handle it differently. But I did not verify they were checking out. Staff would not help with problem and I only have 1500 characters to talk about all issues.

All of the above.

:)
- 5/5
Great place very convenient location and clean.
- 4/5
This seemed to be an older hotel but at least it was clean and quiet. They have a great staff. Because of the location, we would probably not hesitate to stay there again. It was worth what we paid.
- 5/5
Nice quiet location. Beautiful area. Walking distance to a few nice restaurants and nice walking path around the fountain. Fun farmers market on Wednesday mornings with food and craft vendors. Close to Scottsdale. Breakfast options were ok.
- 4/5
Good service. Room was clean and nice. Pool and jacuzzi was wonderful. Basic complementary breakfast with good options. Very nice area.
- 3/5
Great location across from Fountain Park. Good cafes next to the park. Short 20 minute drive to Old Town Scottsdale. A Safeway nearby. The hotel it self was so-so.. Noisy air conditioner, noisy old refrigerator. The shower had plenty of hot water but the water pressure is not adjustable
- 2/5
We didnt like service, the room was not really clean, breakfast was terrible, overall it's a No Thanks!
- 5/5
We love Fountain Hills and the hotel is walking distance to everything we needed. Hotel is clean and quiet and comfortable
- 1/5
There was a tree in front of the window so the view was completly obstructed . Birds woke us up in the tree at 5 am everyday chirping . One day it was windy and the branches sounded like nails on a chalk board scraping on the dirty window . I notified the front desk . Upon arrival there was spilled old coffee and a used bandaid on the floor . So we called the front desk and had them come clean the room and she only cleaned the coffee up and picked up the bandaid . It was 35 minutes frim old town so out of the way .
