It was a lovely place to stay. Like a help yourself bed and breakfast. It was a very interesting property, not like a normal hotel.
-
Great The heating. Couldn’t control how hot the room is and couldn’t open any windows to cool off room

The room was amazing! The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the fireplace made the room so cozy. The hot tub bathtub was so relaxing and well needed. The stairs were a lot but the room made it so worth it. Had a great time and will stay here again!! The stairs were a lot to climb but the Sion Bass room was so great it was worth the climb!

Positives; Location with walking distance to food and beverage. Decent shower Television Snacks and coffee in common area Beautiful original woodwork Negatives The building was restored in 2003. It win an award. However after 23 years it definitely needs a facelift. The bedding was dirty and crusty in spots There was a strange fragrance in the room that was very much like “old musty” perfume. The room would have been ice without the electric fireplace.

Size of shower. All the bells and whistles weren’t needed as much as I needed more space.
-
Easy, consistent communication from the property management. the air-conditioning was really appreciated with the heat outside. I am a woman of average size, but the shower felt kinda small.
-
Very nice and clean and Love that it's within in walking distance to restaurants shops and bars- Love the Starbucks right behind the building. Very nice rooms and love the beauty of this old house. Wish there was room service but definitely appreciated the free snacks and coffee.

The room we stayed in was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom with the jet tub was a bonus for us. It was a great touch with the popcorn and morning snacks. There were a group of, I'll say younger, kids that were right next to us. They were quite loud but it didn't stop our great stay.

What a beautiful place. Was close to everything. The history was great to know as well.

We had a great stay in this historic location.

The spa tub was wonderful. The bed was super comfortable. Check in was easy. Small fridge in room and a large fridge in lobby area. History of the house was fun to learn.

The building and room was exceptional. The pictures don't do it justice. I felt like a princess once I walked into my room. The tub was a dream. Thank you for a dream come true stay. Best room I have ever stayed in. Thank you for fulfilling my request of a lamp for the desk. Extremely satisfied.

Location and the place itself. You hear everything, the bed was hard and there was absolutely no personal contact with anyone the entire stay. Contactless entry with 2 codes.

The location is why we chose this bed and breakfast. It was close to Ruth's Chris which is where we had booked a wine dinner. It was with easy walking distance! We also found a new restaurant for lunch that was the other direction and even closer to our inn. The Abstract was open at noon. There are art galleries right across the street from The Abstract on Broadway. This guest house is just what we needed! Private parking, contactless entry, and great accommodations are what to expect! Good communication with the Booking.com system was a bonus. Fort Wayne downtown is made extremely accessible by staying here. The info that we got before booking and after confirmation said check-in at 3pm and check out at 11am. When the property direct messaging came in, it said 4pm and 10am... on the dot. Early check-in was available by request. I requested 3pm as was previously scheduled. I didn't hear back. It did not cause a problem because we went from lunch at The Abstract to the art galleries across the street hosted to a behind the scenes tour by the owner/artist of one of the galleries, Ruth Koomler. We didn't get back to the property before 4pm anyway.
-
Easy walk to the venue with easy access back in and in our room.
-
Hardly anything for breakfast - options were microwave oatmeal, granola bars, fruit, coffee. Carpeting in room was very dirty/stained. Really needs replacement.
-
The tub was a little dirty and so was the floor.
