Super 8 by Wyndham Ft. Oglethorpe GA/Chatt TN Area

This is basic accommodation with no elevator. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shampoo and body wash in the shower had pump tops which are easier to use than the squeeze bottles so many places use now. We didn't try the included breakfast but it didn't look like there was a lot of options.

Super cold A/C in my room .It was ice cold on low. Beds were very comfortable . The hotel was very quiet.Staff was excellent ! The bedroom was poorly lit.The room had no overhead lights and the 2 lamps in the bedroom weren't bright enough in my opinion

Nothing! AVOID THIS PLACE unless you enjoy sleeping with bugs and want a massive headache from their bs. Everything! Cockroaches inside and outside of the room. We checked in and walked to the room to find 2 cockroaches as soon as we opened the door. I pulled back the sheets on the bed, and another cockroach fell out of the bed. My son found another one in the bathroom. We walked out of the room to leave and there were at least 15 more cockroaches on the ground within 5 feet of the room. I went straight to the front desk and asked for a refund. They tried giving me a different room. I was told by the lady at the front desk that the manager was trying to get my money refunded, but because I booked through Booking.com, it wasn't going to be easy. All they had to do was accept my free cancelation request, not that hard. They called me the next day and said they are still working on getting me my refund. Well, now, here we are 2 days later, and still no refund. In fact, instead of giving me my refund, they said we never showed up. I have the receipt saying otherwise. AVOID THIS PLACE unless you enjoy sleeping with bugs and want a massive headache from their bs.

The room had a noticeable odor and the cleanliness was poor, which actually made me decide against having breakfast there due to hygiene concerns. There was also no hand soap provided. I didn't make a big deal of it since it was only a one-night stay, but I am not sure I would choose to stay here again.

Previous management was friendly and helpful, but new management even more so! Very welcoming and ready to take care of any request. Breakfast is minimal. Do appreciate that yogurt is available, but would like to see more choices than waffles or cereal. Maybe some donuts or sweet rolls and fresh fruit? Breakfast area definitely needs more tables and some cosmetic changes, but this area is under construction so that's in the process.

Very nice hotel. Our room was recently updated, which was very nice. Only thing is our room lacked Kleenex and there was no ice machine on the property. They’re also remodeling the front desk area and dining area. It was going to be done in two days which will be very nice! We still were able to have breakfast; some hot items and cold items to take with us. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful!

I would stay again. $150 on spring break when most others were booked or $225-$250, so the value was good.

Pool and lobby were under remodelation but the employee was accommodating and provided the continental breakfast even tho the breakfast area was closed. The rooms were remodeled a couple of months ago. We were able to relax and had a good night.

The only issue I had was the shower floor had the same tile as the rest of the bathroom floor so in the shower it was a bit slippery

The staff was very accommodating as I needed to check in early, process was beyond simple! Everything was wonderful - I’ve heard many negative things about Super 8’s when I used to reside in FL, but I’m so glad I gave it a shot would definitely book and stay here again!

The WiFi didn’t work and the tv remote was off

Everything was great but the water to take a bath needed to be hotter.

It’s obviously a former Motel 6, based on architecture and color of the doors. Not all that clean.

This property is perfect for my needs

The area felt unsafe and I had some loud neighbors who slammed there doors. Someone the. Called my room at 3:48am waking me up.

Carpet was dirty. Feet turned black walking on it barefoot after a shower. Breakfast choices were poor. Nothing hot but waffles and they were out of batter when I was there. No pastries. No fruit.

The manager greets me by name and remembers me from previous visits.

GREAT ROOM VERY CLEAN STAIRS WAS HARD TO CLIMB I'm 70 YEARS OLD WITH A DISABLTY I NEEDED A ROOM DOWN STAIRS WITH SMOKING BECAUSE OF MY LEGS ARE REALLY IN A LOT OF PAIN CLIMBING THE STAIRS OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GREAT THE BREAKFEST AREA COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER JUST WASN'T ENOUGH FOR US TO EAT IN THE AREA ROOM.

It’s a clean, inexpensive place to stay. What I don’t like is that every single time we stay at this hotel, we rent a room for 4 people and there’s always only enough towels for 2 who does that and why?

No refrigerator no microwave no room to move for 85.00 a night is a rippff

This place was just dirty walking upstairs to our room there was trash and cigarettes in the stairwell. In the room the bathroom there was hair everywhere the floor had toilet paper in it(used) and no toilet paper on the roll. The room was very dirty as far as the floors. As a former hotel manager this was unacceptable. The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite she got me towels and toilet paper. The room only had two towels to accommodate 2 adults and one child. The pillows were so flat we had to use blankets out of the car for pillows.

Check in was easy....the woman working the 2-10 shift was amazing....she knew the area where we are from so we chatted for a bit....her knowledge of the local eateries was very helpful. We checked out early (3:30 am) on the 12th......girl on duty didn't have change to return our security deposit....we gave her another $50 to get our deposit back in the form of a $100 bill....other than that hiccup was an excellent experience and we wouldn't hesitate staying here again in the future.

The room we were in was run down and looked dirty. Very noisy. The breakfast area was small and very limited.

Very good stay of four nights. The facilities rate about 3-star while service is 4-star. The service from hotel staff was very good, and they responded to all my needs in a timely manner. Room had a lot of space. I booked a single king bed and was comfortable enough. My room had a desk and chair and sofa, which I highly appreciate. Hotel location is very close to grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants.

Not a bad hotel room for the price. Room was clean and was good sized. The shower fixtures were not secured to the wall very good. Just minor things that would make hotel better. We have stayed here in 2024 and you can tell they have fixed up the hotel. We would stay again when we are in the area.

Our room had roaches. The issuse was reported to the front desk. Was told they would spray and set out bait but didn't find any evidence of either. There was also an issue with the smoke alarm. It went off twice in one night. Front desk said they would replace battery however the next night the alarm went off again.

I really can’t believe this was a Wyndham hotel. The room smelled weird and decor was aged, the blanket was itchy, and breakfast was very minimal. It did seem clean but just felt icky.

We rented two rooms. They both were extremely filthy. There were large dead bugs in one of the rooms. There were large dirt spots on the inside of the bathroom wall (I actually took a wet washcloth and wiped them off). For the price we paid I expected the rooms to be clean. I will never stay at this hotel again. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Check in fast, easy and employee was great. Room was a little less than clean (dry urine on toilet seat). Rest of room was clean but a little outdated. Looks like they are upgrading though. More than sufficient for a temporary stay. Area was a little suspect but night time was very quiet!!

Room could have been cleaner. The corners of the floor need to be vacuumed. The hairdryer almost came off the wall when I tried to use it.

one ripped towel and 1/2 roll of toilet paper when we got there which was around 5 pm. Did get towels & toilet paper from the office which was a nice person. Carpet was dirty as i got black on my feet everyday as I go bare foot. Cleaning crew came around 10 and doesn't speak english. We didn't leave the room to after 10 so we got no service for 3 days but did on the forth as we left by 9 am. Stayed four nights; other than dirty carpet and cleaning crew not coming back after we left, not too bad. I wouldn't stay there again.

First time staying at a Super 8. Over all good experience, housekeeping came the first night and gave clean towels and such. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff was amazing! Room was clean and decent. We did switch out of our first room because it smelled like weed and the shower curtain rod was broken. They switched us right away. The hotel is not in the greatest of neighborhoods but we never felt unsafe.

Everything was great, the receptionist was informational and did stress that the $50 hold would fall off. The only real issue I had was the person above me had their kid running around at 11pm and at 8am. (Didn’t really care too much for the 11pm) other than that I’ve had a great experience.

As we didn't have a DO NOT DISTURB sign, they changed out our towels every day. But we kept having to ask for an extra towel--EVERY DAY! The breakfast was pretty much non-existent: Cold cereal, packaged oatmeal, some bread. Not sure where the milk was for the cereal. On Monday, the ONE POT of coffee was empty, and there was no juice (which had been there the two previous days). There was hair in the shower that wasn't mine. And, there was some kind of gunk on the bathroom wall as well as beside the bed. The luggage valet stand was completely broken (see picture). We asked for a new one--they did bring one, but it was broken as well. The only saving grace was that the beds were okay and the water in the shower was hot.

It was close to the Chicamauga Battlefield park.

The people were very nice, and it was convenient to the Chickamauga Battlefield park.

Every time I go visit my daughter I stay here. It is clean and friendly and the breakfast is good too. It is also very close to my daughters house. Couldn't ask for any better than that!
