I love that there was an adult only pool. The only inconvenience was having to walk to the main building to get beach towels or take them back. Also, I found the shower floor to be slippery. Being a senior, I would have appreciated a grab bar in the shower to feel more secure. All in all, we had a very nice time. Great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The resort was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the amenities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and convenient location. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning for Labor Day Weekend. Thank you for the room upgrade. It was an incredible surprise!

We love the Pink Shell. Room very clean, hot water was great. Bongo’s chicken wings were the best wings I have had in a while. The pool water was nice and cool not like bath water. The breakfast was amazing. We will be going back.

This is a great resort! Super friendly staff, great on site restaurants and we will definitely be back. We were disappointed with the fact that Rae’s Italian Restaurant did not inform us that their air conditioning was broken. What was more upsetting is that apparently it’s been like that for 6 months. The only reason I am not letting this ruin an all star review is that the property itself, and the accommodations are stellar. Our service and meal were so good in Rae’s but by the end of the meal we were soaking wet with sweat. We would have never gone. I mean, obviously no food is good enough to eat in sweltering heat in the summer when you are at an indoor restaurant. Ask before you make reservations if their air has been fixed, because my guess is that if they have let it go this long, it will still be broken in the near future.

Pink shell is amazing!!! The valet boys were very helpful everyday giving us suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Very polite kids. The lady at the main checking desk helped us find a sunset cruise for our honeymoon and even booked it for us. The room was very nice. The patio was spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean. The set up chairs by the ocean in the morning and go around and place umbrellas for you so you can have a relaxing day at the beach! Rae’s restaurant located inside the resort is amazing! Great food, friendly staff, a gorgeous environment! Jack’s restaurant for breakfast was very yummy!! Chef there making mto omelets. It was an amazing place to stay!!

The Pink Shell is amazing! View, location, the rooms and the bed was very comfortable!

A room was full of worms for the three days that we were there and we found two cockroaches alive in our shower and in our room. When we called the front desk, they said that the hotel is in front of the ocean and that’s common. well I told him that the Ritz Carlton‘s in front of the ocean and they don’t have any roaches. They only gave us credit for one night after we went to the front desk and had to tell them what was going on. They didn’t send anybody to clean until we asked twice to do so never coming back here again.

You can also rent bikes for free and the valet boys are very helpful! Everyone at the reception were so nice, and then you need to meet ranger Rob and do a kayaking excursion with him, he is amazing! Breakfast is included and so good!!! Real quality food and tons of options, and very nice Omelette station with Freddie who makes amazing omelette. Hope we can be back one day!! Thank you Pink Shell! Amazing spot! Love the view and the activities. Food was also delicious.

Overall, the location can't be beat--wide, sandy beaches with gentle waves, palm trees, less than a mile from Times Square. The staff was attentive--take-out orders were prioritized from their restaurants, service was provided on the beach, loungers/umbrellas set up individually on the beach, whatever you needed someone would take care of it. There are three pools and free bike rentals, as well. The food was okay, but not spectacular, and we had some challenges communicating our wishes to housekeeping, but overall, we'd go there again (in fact, we first went in April and went again in May).

Great time

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The resort and its staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than we expected and the food was great throughout the resort. We had 7 sunny days and the beach was clean and well kept along with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Water was great. Overall we had a very good time and we will be going back.

Fun pools and great free breakfast loved the chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We have come here for many years. Was very disappointed in the low rise building this trip. Liked our room but access to beach and pool is very poorly designed. Longer walk than necessary around pools our through parking lots for towels pool access and food. Should be direct access from elevator to the pool.

The Sanibel building is an old building, elevators are slow, there is no direct access to the pool area. Screened in lanai makes it difficult to take nice photos from the balcony because of the screens. Overall, was not what we expected.

The staff was amazing, the pools were beautiful. It was wonderful to have the included breakfast available by buffet every morning. I could not believe how well maintained everything at the resort was, including the gorgeous beach.

Shower had some mold. Smallish, older room. Good breakfast. Plenty of pools and good beach access. Fun place for families but not much nearby.

Hi breakfast outstanding service and friendly staff

Overall experience was ok to good. My wife and I stayed in a beach front room 5th floor. There is no peace or tranquility if you want to sit on the balcony at night. The pool for the kids is very loud and the entertainment whatever it might have been that night just travels right up the building into your room. 2 pools essentially for the kids and 1 adult pool. Adult pool and area pretty small. If you would like to use that pool get your towels and get there early or forget it. The beach is nice. However, if you get down there early (10am) for a beach chair you're gonna wait at least another hour on average for the umbrella. Oh ya, be sure to flag them down to get one because if you don't they will drive right by. Overall we feel the Pink Shell is more of a kids experience place. If you want a more adult relaxed feel I don't think you will get it here. 5 stars for the breakfast. It was really good and a good selection. We usually took it to go and ate on the balcony in our room. 5 stars for the Valet. One night when we went to down to get the car to go out, the valet did a dead sprint to get our car. Not necessary but they were always on it. Almost forgot, 10 stars on the sunsets!

I had a great stay at Pink Shell. The staff and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They are top notch. Food was great. All rooms have a beach view. I wish I had more time or I'd book a few more days. Stay at Pink Shell!!

The property was very nice/clean. Not to mention the special air filtration systems in the rooms which is great for anyone with allergies. We felt some of the restaurant options were a little pricey and just ordered take out from the Italian restaurant. The drinks/bar by the adult pool are expensive and then they charge you a resort fee. Didn't we pay enough for the room per night? For two Long Island Ice Teas with gratuity was about $45!! Bring your own beverages and put it in a travel cup to save you money.

Breakfast was very good! Omelet bar was amazing, buffet items were fresh and the bacon was cooked thoroughly

Very clean room, staff was very helpful and delightful. Free breakfast is very good deal and a lot of food. The views from our room which included the octopool and the Gulf were stunning and amazing. We loved that the balconies are screening in top to bottom for safety too. 100% going back!!!

Everything at this resort was A+ the one and only non-issue was the AC kicking on throughout the evening was quite loud. Aside from that, everything was outstanding.

Great breakfast! Great room and balcony view! Great beach with chairs, umbrellas, and cocktail service. Horrible bar staff!! They act like you are bothering them when ordering. And because your tip is automatic, they don’t care about the poor customer service they are providing.

We loved our stay at the Pink Shell. Perfect for families. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This location is at the end of the Blvd, but is well within walking distance to the area downtown. There is also a shuttle trolley that's very convenient for those unable to walk much. The downtown area offers different restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shops and kiosks. We had a great time and would book this resort again.

Great spot can’t wait to come back!

First appearance of our room was very dirty. There was an orange peal on the remote for the tv, dirt and crumbs on top the stand tv was on, sand covering the floor everywhere, and even in both beds. The first night we had not even been on or near the beach and it was like the sheets were never cleaned before we got there.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Pink Shell! From the food/drink, to the beach, to the facilities was great. What beats all of that is the quality, attentiveness, professionalism and the friendliness of the entire staff. We travel quite a bit and we will be back to see Denise and the outstanding team at the Pink Shell soon.

It is comfy for family

This was our first time at Pink Shell and everything was absolutely wonderful, our family had the best time and we cannot wait to come back!

My husband, sixteen year old daughter, and myself stayed here during our spring break. We arrived before the check-in time but were able to leave our luggage with the concierge. We had full use of the resort. The food was really good. The only time we left was to walk the square shops for souvenirs. The resort does a lot for kids but the area is spread out so you aren't cramped. Our room was amazing and the view of the gulf was amazing.

Beach view was not obstructed. I did not care for the screened in lanai but certain there is a reason they are screened in. Pool areas are spacious and clean.

The Ponk Shell has an unobstructed view of the Gulf. It has a few pools, a couple of hottubs, and a private beach. The breakfast is fantastic.10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful well equipped rooms with an ocean view

It was honestly the best vacation. First and foremost, the place and views are beautiful, the staff was so friendly, polite, and curious, they have everything right there, and the food and complimentary breakfast was exceptional. It was a perfect stay, at the pink shell resort!

The view to the beach was fantastic from the room. It overlooked Bongos and the main pool below. In yhe evening, live music could be heard from the screened in deck. The adult pool was perfect temp for those evening floats in the pool. Great experience all around.

The pool was fine, but the ocean was stinky and murky. The sand was kept in great shape by the tractors. Was very disappointed in the ocean water.

We loved our stay here! So much for the kids and adults to do!

The staff was incredible - friendly, helpful, warm and inviting. We were there during a cold spell, yet still were able to enjoy the pools which were comfortably heated. The beach was amazing, with all the amenities, like chairs, umbrellas, and food/drink service. Although we dined off site for most of our meals, the complimentary breakfast buffet was fabulous. So many choices, and they changed up the selections daily. We booked this trip on a whim and felt like we hit the jackpot. We will be back Pink Shell - many thanks!

Food was good but cold .what I didn't like was I couldn't pay cash fir anything I had to charge it to my room or use ny card

The room was fairly clean, however, I walked around in white socks the first day we got there and the bottom of my feet were very dirty after a few hours. The floor had apparently not been mopped in awhile!

The rooms could use an update with more current furniture that’s comfortable. The noise level was so high in my room. We could hear the people talking in the room next to us and above us and the shower stall area was very old tile and not in good shape.!

Room was wonderful with good view, it was clean and well kept by the cleaning staff. Amenities were great and it was in an excellent location. Restaurants are all convenient and there is plenty of seating as well as good entertainment that include a live singer over the weekends. Free breakfast it great and very pleasant. We loved the omelette guy!

Amazing resort! The view from our room was gorgeous inside and out. The entire resort was very clean from the room to the pools to the dining. The breakfast offered something for everyone (omelets, pancakes, waffles, fruit, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, juice and much more). The staff goes out of their way to make everything perfect. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Hotel

The hard sell tactics to attend a sales presentation for their newly renovated building was very unprofessional and off putting. Texts started by Holly the first evening (Sunday) after checkin even before we had unpacked. Also during checkin, we inquired about upgrades and Jordan informed us that upgrades weren’t available for third party reservations. Found this rude and shortsighted and let him know that if it weren’t for Expedia, I would not have booked the reservation. Was also ridiculous as they wanted us to attend their sales pitch, and later we could see they were not fully booked. Furthermore the pictures displayed on both Expedia and their website of tue rooms were very misleading. Our building and room were dated and rundown, dingy. The gym was also not in good condition. Elevators were super slow and seemed outdated and also rundown. Will never go back to this resort.

Be ready for a $60 a day “resort fee” to be sprung on you. They claim towels, breakfast and a few other things are “complementary” but then tell you your $60 a day resort fee pays for those things. I got news for you pink shell. It’s not complementary if I’m paying you daily for it. Overall the resort is okay but I don’t like feeling like I got one pulled over on me and that’s what they did. I spent money there tipped your workers well and then had to cough up another $300 (5 nights) at the end for this fee. Oh and the first day I checked in at 4pm and they still had the audacity to charge me the full resort fee that day when I was there less than half a day. Again don’t like how they went about it. Put the full price up front don’t charge me more money once you get me onto your resort. Even if the resort was a 10/10 I wouldn’t be returning for this reason alone.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very relaxing. I love the multiple pools, the kids had a huge one to enjoy and adults have one to relax in. The food was great with a large variety. You have to wait to be seated but they are very efficient and it's usually 15 to 25 minutes. The rooms were cozy and clean. The beach was amazing and so close. Great place to stay!

The hotel was spectacular. Just what we were hoping for. Beautiful views from the rooms. Relaxing. A nice adults only section which is ideal for us seniors. Great hot tub, in room tub and breakfast. The entire resort was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was surprisingly well done. Beach is groomed daily and the sand is soft and clean.

The bed was miserable. Every time my husband got up it creaked and popped a number of times. It’s been almost a week and my neck is still sore. We’ve stayed at less expensive places for overnight stays and the beds were amazing. Just thought this being a resort, the bed would have been at the very least comfortable.the grounds and the pool were amazing and the buffet breakfast was wonderful.

Over all the hotel was great. Very clean and friendly. Food was very good but not too many options. And the beach is stunning. Our biggest complaint was the area/location of the hotel, keep in mind we did not have a car with us, but we found that there really wasn’t much to around. We did take the long walk to the main strip a few times during our stay, but honestly even when you get up there, not too many restaurant or stores. We were kind of forced to eat at the hotel restaurant multiple nights. Not a huge deal but wasn’t really what I expected. Only things with the actual hotel we didn’t love were, the lock the gates of the pool and beach area in the mornings until 8 so the only way down is via the stairs, which was only an issue for me because we have a baby who wakes up early, would have been nice to push him around in the stroller during the earlier mornings. There was a very nice employee who helped me carrier the stroller down the stairs one morning. Also the front row of lounge chairs at the pool needed to be paid for, which normally would t bother me at all. But they were completely empty the entire trip, just seemed silly to have the entire row unused like that. Maybe during more crowded times of year it’s different. The rooms are great - very spacious and clean. Sorry for long review but thought it might be helpful if you are traveling without a car and with a young baby.

It was ok, there was a mix-up with Expedia having to do the payment when we booked the stay. My account was to have been paid in full, but my son Raul's hotel stay was paid instead, so try to correct the problem with Pink Shell, which was A night, Mayer, especially dealing with Denise, she gave me such a hard time.

Perfect pool temperature. Adult area. Free Beach chairs and umbrellas available. Despite hurricane construction all around, this property seems unaffected. Super nice staff,great housekeeping service.

Breakfast was just ok nothing great about it. You have to walk outside to get to every building. The wristbands are a nice idea.

Beautiful property. Larger units have washer/dryer in unit. Adult only side was quiet and not crowded. Love this resort.

Very clean Food was great, all the restaurants were awesome and the breakfast tasted great and was different every day. The rooms were big and comfortable. The staff was always pleasant to talk to and they fixed any issue we had ASAP. The beach was wonderful too.

The breakfast is phenomenal, so much and high quality food! The beach is wide and you can find so many shells, also love that there is a shell washing station by the pool. Service is very efficient and everyone is so friendly. The view from the balcony in every room can’t be beat. My happy place 😀

Our fourth time here! Perfect for families. They always have special activities planned for children daily. Great service, very convenient, and always clean!

Clean room with beautiful views

What we did not like was the very loud male singer while we were trying to enjoy our balcony and the screaming family at the pool til 10pm. Other music on the weekend was a much lower volume and enjoyable.

Friendly, clean, lots of options for activities. One thing I didn’t care for: laundry in the second building was free, and costs 2.00 per wash and dry in Sanibel bldg. I only found out luckily before I paid.

My family and I absolutely loved the hotel, The staff makes you feel like you're at home, the food is excellent, and the cleanliness is 10/10. we hope to return soon.

for the most part, everything was great, but I had to make an argument with the front desk on my friends room because nobody told us that parking passes were limited, and people drove in separate cars, and therefore they told us they could not hand out any more parking passes in the end they did but they charged my 20 $25 which I thought was ridiculous

We were traveling with our granddaughter and she loved it! It’s a very family friendly resort, if it was just my husband and I, I probably wouldn’t have chosen it because there were kids everywhere even though they do have an adults only pool. We’ll probably be back just because my granddaughter didn’t want to leave 😁.

Beach views and sunsets were magnificent.

Extra fees. Non working appliances. No housekeeping came. Loud construction work.

Great place to stay. Town is a 10 minute walk with Tram and golf cart if you prefer not to walk. Events for the kids every morning. Italian restaurant on property is delicious. Plenty of other food options so you don’t need to leave.

Beautiful view from every room. Adult pool solidified my decision and is perfect. Wish the bar was a better “scene” but enjoyed the pizza. Most evenings spent on our lanai relaxing. Will most definitely stay there again.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Don't bother going to crowded Margaritaville. Which is just down the street. The amenities and the STAFF HERE IS OUTSTANDING. Directly on the beach. Go from the beach to the pool all day long. They have 3 pools. Two of the are for ADULTS only and the larger one is for the kids. I can't say enough about this place. I WILL BE BACK! Sooner than later. Not a single bad thing to say about this property and I'm HARD to please. :-)

Staff were all very friendly and helpful! Food was very good, but quite expensive, especially drinks. Room was clean and housekeeping staff was great, but building definitely could use some love-needs a facelift. Overall, the resort was fairly quiet. We enjoyed the on- beach activities- jet skis were a blast. The beach was pretty clean. We enjoyed our long weekend here, and would definitely go back if we have the chance!

Amazing balcony

Overall a good choice for vacation a week long or less.

The Pink Shell was an amazing property. The staff were so helpful and fun! The villa we stayed in was so clean and had everything we needed and more. I didn't realize they had washer/dryers, dishwashers, stoves etc in them. I also loved the adult only pool. The family friendly pool stayed very active and we preferred to hang out with our drinks and relax. Fort Myers Beach is still in repair after the hurricane last year. That was the only thing that I could see that would make me give it 4 stars for the area around the property. Lots of construction. But, it still was nice around the resort and loved having the bikes available as well. We will definitely come back.

I liked that the property had free breakfast. It sucked though that they left gratuity cards constantly at breakfast and in your room for the maid service. I spent $6000 on my trip for 4 days including flights, vehicle, food and I only picked that resort because of the free breakfast but each day felt guilt tripped to have to tip. And for what? They showed me a seat and gave me water? Other than that it was good but they should for sure just pay the staff more and rid the gratuity cards. Spent money on “resort fees” at the end, take that gratuity out of that.

Everything about the property was amazing it exceeded my expectations, food all restaurants on site were great !! comfortable rooms easy access to the beach and three pools. There are a few things that consumer should know it is a cash free establishment. Everything is charged to your room with taxes, gratuity, and fees as well. There is a bus that runs up to Times Square and over the bridge you will need exact change and be aware of the times for pick up and drop off. Or you can use golf cart service for 3 bux.. this place was great 10 out of 10

We had an amazing time surprising some friends at the resort with a last minute getaway. The place was convenient from airport and everyone from the valet, customer service, and housekeeping were amazing. They really do a great job making everyone feel special. Went with a family of 6 ranging 5-13 & joined another family of 4. The rooms were spacious and well decorated.

We enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back.

Have been staying with Pink Shell for years and the pool areas have really been improved with hot tubs and made more secure for guests. They have done a great job bouncing back from the hurricane. We will be back!!!

The resort was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and all of the pool and restaurant areas were very clean and well maintained. There were great activities every day and night. It was fun for the whole family!

Beach was dirty, room was never serviced even asked several times. Rae’s food overpriced and not flavorful.

Room was super clean, pool area perfect, food amazingggggg, our pool server Floyd offered fantastic service to 10 of us he was very very good at his job! All around experience for our staycation was perfect! I will definitely be back!

I was in search of a vacation that would be family friendly and have so much to offer we wouldn’t have to pack up the car and drive to entertainment. Pink Shell delivered everything I hoped for. The rooms were amazing, the staff was great, the entire family was entertained.

No me gusto que aunuqe estaba con ropa de piscinas, incluso mojada y con mi pulsera de llave sali y entre varias veces en el dia y me mandaban a que escanear la llave una y otra vez entiendo que es por segurida peor creo que fue demasiado en mi caso personal. Tuve la mala experiencia de una noche el equipo del aire acond por mas de 1 h estuvo pitando pero puedo comprender que puede suceder. Por lo general todo me gustó.

The weather wasn't great, very rainy. The cleanliness was excellent, and the front desk staff wasn't very helpful. The food and breakfast were excellent. The room rate wasn't commensurate with the price. The balcony was so small that almost two people couldn't fit. In short, nothing like the room I saw in the image on the website. The saleswoman in the store wasn't very friendly. I wouldn't rent again.

Another great stay at Pink Shell. The post-Ian Pink Shell is every bit as nice as before. Friendly and helpful staff, great service, and great restaurants in premises and close by.

The Pink Shell is definitely a 5 star resort!! Absolutely ZERO complaints! Free Breakfast that is AMAZING! Free Beach Chairs with Umbrella. Adult only pool area. The staff on the beach taking food and drink orders. You never have to leave your chair! Very clean and well maintained. All staff was very friendly and welcoming! Food at restaurants was delicious!

What’s disappointing, is the cost outside of the resort. FMB is still recovering from the hurricanes, and what you pay for, for dinner or shopping is expensive. I recommend utilizing taxi services, rather than paying for parking, and if you want to save a buck, leave Estero Island for shopping and dinner. Every room has a kitchenette, so buy groceries, and bring your own cooler and alcohol.

Not one negative thing to say!

The property was secure and well kept. 3 pools Buffet breakfast unreal and included. Staff was on top of everything always a smile and a pleasure talking with. Only thing when walking home from the little town there are no lights and very little side walks.

Room was essentially an efficiency with cook top, microwave, pots, dishes, small frig. Pools were great & the beach was right there.

There was nothing i didn’t like about this hotel. Everything was excellent! Spacious rooms and spacious balcony with amazing views. Kitchen fully equipped! Staff were super friendly and very helpful. We didn’t feel like leaving the resort! Rae’s restaurant has the best sea food I have ever had and the Bongo Bar offered fast service! Beach front, chairs and umbrellas included in the stay. Breakfast included too, with amazing views.I would highly recommend for families. We are definitely going back!

I think what stands out the most for us was the staff. Everyone who we interacted with was friendly and seemed to actually like their job!! The housekeeping was phenomenal! It was such a dream to come back after a full day at the beach to a fresh room. We watched the grounds keepers every morning going through their routine of cleaning pools, wiping tables, putting out lounge chairs and umbrellas And they all did it with a smile and a goodmorning! We felt super safe on the beach and all areas of the resort. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great swimming pools and access to the beach. One of the elevators was down most of our time there which made wait times excessively long. All of the staff is excellent, very nice and helpful. The dining options at the resort were average at best.

And the family of five that stayed in the white sand building it was a pleasure staying for the 4 nights.

There was no air in the elevators. Parking was difficult Should allow 15 and up at adult pool. Teens do t like to stay in the kiddie pool. Towel access should be near adult pool Overall great time! Enjoyed our stay!

The only thing I would like to see is an indoor Bar area. Sometimes you don’t want to sit outside by the pool.

The woman that works as a security in the pool area has a very bad temper and her language with clients is awful, she didnt care about our opinions was terrible the experience with her....unfortunately that was a very bad experience in that beautiful hotel, everybody else were amazing .Her name is Pam and we talked about her behavior toward us with the front desk girl, I really hope anybody has to deal with her angry character ever.

Property is nice. They have activities daily and it’s all the way at the end of the island which is nice and private if you like that. If you want to be where all the action is you should get a ride on the golf cart as it’s a little but of a walk.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Kudos to the leadership!

We have stayed at the Pink Shell three times now. We enjoy the friendly staff and the nice facilities. Congratulations on recovering from the storm. One suggestion; please add an opening to the pool area by the Captiva building like you had in the past. It is rather annoying to have to walk all the way to the main building to get in/out of the pool area. I understand it may be more convenient for your staff but certainly not for the guests. Thank you for another great stay.

It is a beautiful Property. You get free breakfast with a LARGE assortment. However everything on the resort and on the island has a 18-20% gratuity charge auto added on there, Even if you are only getting 1 drink. They have alot going on at all times.
