Ive stayed several times, it keeps going downhill. Location is great for Sanibel, and beds/pillows are always very comfy, pool area is nice but many loungers are ripped and need replacing. phones in the rooms have been 'under repair' for over 3 years, the floors are warped and it causes the bathroom barn style sliding door to get stuck. The floor in our room was so slanted we kept losing our balance. I carry a UV light to check rooms and there was a lot of urine around the toilet.

Very summer lighting in our room and limited space for our belongings so we lived out of our suitcases during our extended trip. The cleaning staff was friendly, one woman at the desk was very nice, the others not too helpful with recommendations.

The front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the pool right up until 10 pm.

The bed was very confortable and the room and bathroom were clean. We asked for a room to be close to the elevators and, the staff did not comply to our request, although they knew my husband is handicap and had issues walking The room they assign us was all the way at the end of the building and that side of the hotel had an elevator out of service. They had many rooms empty and their argument was that they were expecting many guests attending a wedding. The rooms remained vacant the next morning when we checked out.

The breakfast was terrible, the spa at pool was not working, they bare cleaned the rooms, we saw a couple of mice on the first floor .. housekeeping was not great.. the best thing about this hotel was it was not expensive it was close to all beaches.. it was fairly clean, but they could not make a bed and the phones and TV do not work

Loved the place even thoughthe jacuzzididnt work at the time, nice staff, quite place when its bed time and breakfast was really good. If I can add or ask for one thing is for the hotel to have more umbrellas in the pool area because the sun was very strong the days I stayed there. Pool area needs more umbrellas.

The only complaint I have is that our air conditioner was leaking water inside the room(and outside). The air worked fine, but there was a damp smell in the room.

Place needs a remodel. Cleaning was not very good same rubber band was on the floor our whole stay. Hot tub was broken. Front desk wasn't very knowledgeable about the area and places to eat.

I didn't like this hotel and I would never stay in one like it again, the check-in went well because they gave us the room early, but the room smelled like cigarettes including the towels, in the pool they had very few umbrellas and the heat was too intense, another thing I want to mention is that that night in the room the wifi was not working at all we couldn't even watch TV 📺 so they had no choice but to sleep 😴 also the continental breakfast in my opinion was not good, the hotel is not cheap at night so it should have better services

The room was clean, and the A/C worked well; all the appliances (microwave, small fridge) worked well. These are undervalued areas, but when they work well, you can relax. The pool was a great surprise - big enough to receive all guests, clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was very good (in line with a 3* hotel), and all items were available. Early check-in and check-out were fast - no issues. When I booked this hotel, I was looking for an affordable option close to the beach, and La Quinta was a great choice. I recommend it. The bathroom door could not be locked; you can slide it, but it would be nice to have a way to lock it. Some guests were smoking, and others consumed alcohol at the pool area, and there was some loud music - not a big deal since we could enjoy the pool but it would be nice if someone could remind guests of the beach rules.

Wonderful breakfast! Free parking. Helpful staff. Clean and safe area for families. Publix within walking distance. Just a quick drive to the beach! We stayed an extra night we enjoyed it so much. Will stay here again!

Family of 4 , stayed here for 1 night . 2 young children . Locate was great ,close to Fort Myers and Sanibel Island . Nice pool and free basic morning breakfast which was good . Rooms were a good size with a large bathroom . Only real complaint was the shower , wish it got hotter and had better pressure but that's pretty minor for a 1 night stay. Felt it was a good stay for the low price !

Breakfast was good with a large variety. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Location proximity to the island was good. Good value overall but our room wasn’t the greatest. Not sure if they had just washed the carpets but there was a damp musky feel to the room. A dehumidifier was in the corner that helped a bit but the noise made sleep difficult.

We stay here at least twice a year the hot tub has always been good until the last two times. It is lukewarm. Asked the front desk and they had no clue. It’s too bad the place has a great location. We have committed in going back this next weekend but it will be our last stay unless the hot tub is fixed!

Clean room. Not sound proof. Could hear children crying and fussing during the night. Parking was fine. Breakfast was fine. Staff was helpful. Building needs a total remodel. It’s old. Things need painted and cared for. The rate was normal for its condition. But our room was fresh and clean.

This fit the bill especially for the price, we loved the pool, and it was a good solution if you're just looking to lay your head, but the property needs a little TLC! Location was great for accessing both Sanibel & Fort Myers, and the pool was certainly a highlight. Breakfast was also great with gluten free options for us including eggs, sausage, Udi's bagels, and yogurt, indoor and outdoor dining areas, although I wish it started at 6am instead of 7am. Biggest knock was our room was musty. We had to empty the dehumidifier when we first arrived, I know it's FL, and while the bathroom was somewhat recently updated the room itself was less so and could likely use some new carpeting and AC unit to help resolve any ongoing moisture issues. The dehumidifier also squeaked so loudly we had to turn it off at night. One of my biggest pet peeves is when tropical locations don't have enough drying hooks for towels / swimsuits, this bathroom only had 2. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but mostly for reasons aside from our room!

The bed saved the day. It was a large king and very very comfortable. The room was too dark. Not enough lighting. The free breakfast is minimal. Eggs seemed made from powder.

Absolutely amazing! Rooms are impeccable and the staff is kind, compassionate, clean and very friendly. Location is perfect for going to Ft Myers and Sanibel Island. Plenty of nearby by stores and food options. Gas station next door is accommodating. Breakfast is very nice!

Upon check in, staff gentleman was very nice. Getting to our room was a hassle and I was let down by the appearance and run down nature of the buildings. Does not look like photos at all. We had to park in the back and then walk a significant distance to our hotel room. The elevator was dirty sometimes the buttons did not work. Our room was musty, there was not enough lighting. Our bathroom did not have a fan. Again, the room did not look like the photos. The carpet seemed dirty, we wore shoes the whole time. In the photo it showed a vinyl flooring. Our door when shut had a crack in it that let outside air in and light. Not the safest feeling.The bedding was clean and bathroom was clean, so ultimately decided to stay. We only stayed one night. We didn't use the pool or try the breakfast so unable to comment. We asked staff for a late check out so we could sleep in a bit and they were able to accomodate us, which was nice. In the future I personally would not return. I don't believe the "very good" rating is accurate. It's more of "okay" by barely meeting the basic requirements.

Room was okay, television wouldn’t connect to streaming services. Informed front desk clerk first day and after 4 nights still wasn’t fixed. Good thing I don’t travel to spend time in the motel room.

Unfortunate because we had higher hopes for this stay. We walked in to check in close to 7 pm, needing to get checked in and ready for a dinner reservation with family from out of town. I walked in the lobby and NO ONE. Literally no one showed up, I yelled multiple times and no one showed up. I stood there for OVER 20 minutes until the lady came in. I let her know I had been waiting that long and was late for dinner with family. She snarkily responded “Well theres other guests in the hotel and I had to fix a TV.” I’ve never in my life stood in a lobby alone for over 20 minutes unattended. Very excessive. Also the phone rang multiple times unanswered…great customer service. Shame on La Quinta for not giving them proper support to run a nationally recognized hotel. So we get our room and the rooms are fine, for the most part. Our kid couldn’t take a bath because there’s no stopper for the bathtub. Then we tried to call the front desk, phones in the rooms are non-operational. So I searched the location on my Apple Maps and hit the call button…guess what you connect to? A phone sex company who greets you with “if you want to talk to hot girls, press ***” This is ridiculous. We noticed another guest left their car door open wide open at night so I went to the front desk to report it. The gentleman there was nice enough but you could tell they clearly don’t support the desk. Hot tub was also broken, was never told that. They never once apologized for anything. Zero accountability.

Breakfast was old and rubbery. Hotel deactivated our key cards. We had a “do not disturb” on our door and they came in anyways and moved everything around. Hotel refused to give a refund. We left early and went to a nicer hotel up the street.

We saw cockroaches. Room was extremely dingy and dark. Hot tub was not working. Phone didn’t work as well as tv didn’t work. We left early it was so bad.

Beautiful Hotel with wonderful staff !!

The hot tub was broken the entire stay and we basically booked this hotel for the hot tub. They said there was coffee 24 hours in the lobby and there was cold morning coffee every day afternoon and evening. The staff was very good our first night and the next two nights the staff was extremely non attentive and rude when approached asking about anything. It was uncomfortable and we never even told them about any of our complaints, which I'm guessing would have made them worse.

My real problem was with Hotels.com. I originally placed my reservation for February 27 arrival February 28 departure. When I arrived at the La Quinta hotel, I learned my reservation had been placed for March 27 departing March 28. I ended up booking another night for my February choice and I paid for it out-of-pocket. When I tried to contact Hotels.com, I was unable to reach anyone and to have my problem solved. I was just handed off from one computerized system to another and back again. I'm very disappointed that I had to pay for two reservations because I had to buy the February 27 night and was unable to use the March 27 night. Very dissatisfied with that and frankly I would like my money back. Thank you.

The location of this property was excellent. The building is older, rooms were not very sound proof to the traffic and other sounds. The cleaning service was very good.

If you only want to pay 200 buck's this hotel great. If you spend 500 to 700 bucks you will have a nice, quiet, safe place near or on the water in fort Meyer's. Overall this hotel is run down and sketch at best. I will pay more money next time I travel.

Fantastic pool - maybe could be vacuumed better daily as there were leaves in it here and there. Staff extreemly friendly.

Breakfast was disappointing. They had grab-and-go items like muffins, oranges, and yogurt, plus waffle makers, but the eggs and sausage were fridge-cold and burned at the same time, inedible. I wouldn't recommend this property. The one bright spot was hotel staff member Loraine, who made the early checkout process easy and stress-free.

I didn’t stay , first room smelled like pets and the second room smelled like someone sprayed bathroom perfume on an unclean bathroom. Wet towels on the countertop. So we left. The guy at the front desk said he returned the money but third party charged me for it .

Fantastic launderette down the road and a Publix nearby for stocking your fridge as breakfast not so good. But overall compared to the island prices money well spent.

We stay here every year. The staff is great and and always accommodating and the rooms are always clean.

Not a great experience here. Bathroom has no fan so was always wet and slippery floors, counter, steamed up mirror. Walls are thin, was woken up both nights by loud guests & could hear entire conversations and music. The hot tub wasn’t working and that’s a main reason we chose this place was to use the pool/ hot tub.

Good location before going into Sanibel Island to stay if you want to be close to there and the boat launch is right before the bridge as well. Rooms were clean. Its an older building, but overall was good for a few days. Staff was pleasant.

Convenient laundry

Stayed here last year same time. It was fine. This year not so good. Started with shower and sink immediately. Very very low water pressure. We requested a room change. 2nd room. Adequate shower, sink a trickle. Light beside bed bulb was out. 9:30 p.m.Went to front desk, waited 15 min. No one came. Left note. The rooms are very poorly lit so bedside lights are a necessity. The next morning at 9:30 a.m. went to desk again. The old bulb and my note were still sitting there. 2 hours later the maintenance man arrived. Keys worked 50% of time. The railing on the side rear steps was out of base, a definite SAFETY hazard had still not been repaired from a year ago. The pool is beautiful but the lounge chairs are tired. The rooms have been up dated but very dark. The breakfast was decent but a staff member was just standing in a hallway when many things needed refilling. This could be a really nice place to stay but many things need change. 2025 stay compared to 2026? Minus 30% for items mentioned.

Thank God we found another with such short notice!

Desperately need more towel hooks or racks in bathroom. Lighting is really too low; I could not see much at all unless the tv was on. Bathtub needs stability strips to help it not be so slippery. Pool was gorgeous and warm, but the seating was painful. Those orange sun loungers are ‘killers for the back and behind’. Breakfast eggs were awful and the breakfast hostess was not at all engaging or interested in the guests. Your hotel is very close to being excellent. Room was clean and quiet. Pillows were poor quality. Some lights didn’t work. Front desk staff were not at all welcoming, friendly, or helpful. Pool is very nice. Bring a floaty! Breakfast was your typical free breakfast but we showed up 1 hour before it ended and there wasn't much left.

The room smelled like a dirty fish tank. We asked to move rooms and there wasn’t one available. On Saturday night there was no hot water for showers. We did complain and nothing changed. On Sunday night we were informed that there would be no water from 8-5 on Monday. We had to set an alarm to get up to use the bathroom. I would absolutely not stay here again. We overheard other guests complaining as well. Some rooms didn’t have air conditioning or the fire alarm wasn’t working. We did not get what we paid for. I will be writing a formal letter of complaint to the hotel when I return home.

The room was alright, smaller but recently updated. However, the bathtub has been reglazed and is extremely slippery and dangerous. While l have stayed at many hotels with a reglazed tub, this was the only one l have experienced that no anti-slip mat was applied.

The room was clean for the most part. There was a dehumidifier innthe room that ran constantly and the room did smell slightly mildewy. I had to wear socks because the carpet felt a little grimy. The fridge was turned off so it smelled horrible when we opened it. Had to leave it open for a bit to air it out. Bed was not very comfortable but that is personal preference I suppose. Shower was good. Although, be careful stepping out, because the floor is lower than the tub. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was lackluster. Wasnpriced right for being close to Fort Myers Beach, but I probably would not stay again.

Difficult to get in and out the room, door was very difficult to open. Hairdryer did not work and it took a long time to get a replacement. Lady at frontdesk was not so nice and did not really make an effort to assist. Breakfast ok. Very loud AC. Pool is not heatet. Ok for 1 night.

Room was okay, but needs a desk lamp for working at the desk. Without it, the room was too dark to work in. The only lights were over the bed. Convenient location to Sanibel bridge and close to shopping.

The room was kept very clean. Morning breakfast was good considering it was free. My biggest complaint is the fitness room, where the treadmills and elliptical machines are always broken, amd the front desk will never call to get them repaired. Those machines have never worked in the 3 years I have been coming here because the Shell Point Guest House has been closed.

I was very surprised, the rooms were amazing, roomie, clean, and the pool is very nice. I have to say the hotel manager was terrific. Even adding personal touches like decorating the lobby and the eating area for Valentine’s Day. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Truly Amazing, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The pool and hot tub were nice but the first few days the heater was broke. When they fixed it, it was beautiful. The breakfasts were great and very nice dining area. I would stay there again. The staff was always very helpful.

We had a cockroach in our room and tv didn’t work both nights we were staying. I called front desk about tv they said to hold why they could find someone to help. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then they hung up.

Staff were all friendly and pleasant. However, twice in 12 hours we found our TV not working and the first time, in evening, there was one person on staff in entire hotel and it took him well over an hour to come and fix the problem,which he knew about. The faucet water ran for 30 minutes, and never got hot. We were instructed by the front desk to let it run, and it would get hot. We had ro call twice before being assigned another room. We had to go to front desk for the keys to the room next door, they would not deliver.

There was no table in the room, which is an inconvenience, and there was one in the past. The radio clocks at the bedside were removed or absent, and this is also a downgrade from the past. I can't imagine why this was done, other than just letting the facility slide. The inside door lock was also missing or in disrepair, again not caring to keep the facility in working condition.

The room and staff were great, as was breakfast. It was the inconsiderate idiot in the adjacent room thinking it was a good idea to have the TV on loudly until 2am that spoilt it.

The cleaning crew made so much noise first thing in the morning. I wanted to relax and sleep in, but I could not the three mornings in a row because it was so loud laughing talking they don’t have to be so loud. It was very annoying.

Would like to have more lighting in the room. Other than that it was very comfortable. An issue to be aware of when I closed the door to go out to dinner I must have shut it too hard and the security latch activated. Couldn't open the door and the attendant managed to get us in. Nice stay and would recommend staying here.

The first thing I asked before I booked was “does the hot tub work” she said “yes, it’s working”. I travel for sports and that’s why I choose this place because Hot tub, AND IT WAS NOT WORKING! Not only that I tried to book at the hotel and she gave me a higher price than hotels.com. Then I book my room and said “oh, your a Wyndham rewards member, you could have got room for $20 less”. I told her that’s why I came in to ask in person. She said nothing she can do. She could have cared less if I checked in. She acted like I was an inconvenience to her. When I discovered hot tub was not working, she says “well I can’t call a tech out now, sorry it is what it is” Unreal! She should not be working with people! I had traveled all day and just wanted to relax. I will be giving bad reviews on every single website I can

Breakfast only was served at 7:00 and I had to leave before then. Most hotels have it start at 6:00 or 6:30, which helps travelers a lot. So that was a big disappointment. The room was okay. The walls were paper thin. We could hear every single person who came in the parking lot or walked past the room. No telephone for the room, so no way to have a wake up call or call the front office. No hair blower in the room, which is a norm for most hotels. Very disappointing

We were greeted by Roopa who was very nice! We explained how the hotel was hard to find by gps. She explained that if you add service Rd to the address it will guide you correctly. Parking was easy. There was a circle K next door & a publix down the road along with a Gator Bites Pub which we decided on for dinner after our late arrival. Our room was clean & spacious. A comfy, clean bed. I would have liked more down pillows. There were like 5 pillows so plenty to choose from. I prefer down so you can fluff it as neccessary. There was a love seat and side table which was adequate for a drink, snack etc. There really wasn't enough dresser space for our week long stay but it was sufficient for a couple of nights. The room was cleaned daily. The free breakfast was good. I made self waffles. Tea & coffee were available 24/7. The pool is hugh! It's great for laps. The hotel is located on a quieter street so that was nice. It was also located nearby to main streets for easy access. We went to Bunche Beach preserve nearby which was great for a walk & I found some nice 🐚 shells. We were able to feed gators while mini golfing at Smugglers Cove. We had breakfast twice at Sunflower Cafe after waking up too late for the free breakfast. It was delicious, the staff was friendly & the service was fast. We would definately stay at this LaQuinta again!

My room was very musky and when I walked in, I should have just walked out. All of my clothes were damp. I kept using the blow dryer to get the dampness out of my bed linens. Upon check out, they did tell me that I should have come back to desk and asked for a dehumidifier. With this being said, the facility itself was nice. Breakfast was nice. Pool is nice. Location is good. My neighbor’s were very noisy. I just turned on my TV to drown them out. I was only there to take care of elderly parents so I was barely in the room. Only to sleep. I fly to Florida about 2-3 times a month to take care of elderly parents and I will not be staying here again.

Overall this was a good place to stay and I would stay here again. The only negative remarks would be. The room initially had a musty smell but the room did have a dehumidifier and after about 2 hours of turning that and the AC on the smell was not noticeable. The other issue was the wi fi and internet was horrible, for at least 1 and a half days there was no internet at all. We had to go down the street to Mc Donalds and use their wi fi so my son could submit his homework. On the positive the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and made everyday. Breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The staff were all nice and pleasant.

Newly renovated property just finishing the last upgrades like new exterior tiles. Lobby was spacious, staff helpful & check in prompt. Room was newly upgraded, excellent WiFi, great pool and breakfast was outstanding continental with hot options like sausages, scrambled egg, omelettes and waffle maker. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Receptionist all of them probably the most professional people I’ve ever met and they were very helpful and very knowledgeable and trustworthy and really loved their work and duties!! Always went out of their way to help out and the security guard was the best!!! I felt safe knowing that he was always around!!

This was a great location for everything! Bunche beach right down road. Morning coffee was offered early. Pool was Awesome But noticed sign said 6ft it is not its 5ft. Sign also stated pool closes at dusk people were still in pool at least till 10pm playing music. Another find was an observation of a electrical panel facing pool with wires exposed no cover plate. Room was very clean! Bed was comfortable But there are noticeable gaps around door at night large enough for little critters and you could hear other rooms conversations and party music Not sound proof. The vents in bathrooms carry conversation. Tv was great reception (Dish Network) but wish there was at least one religious station like Daystar or TBN as at night can be some smuck on tv. Breakfast offered hot scrambled eggs or omlets sausage links or patties would have liked to see a potato of some sort utilizing one of the chafing pans instead of two sausage choices thats just my preference tho. Needed shampoo and conditioner and some towels staff accomodated me ,with a smile, very pleased.! There is security that walks the perimeter at night which is nice as i am a single older woman. Wr stay here alot but this time was not a good experience there was absolutely no water pressure in the shower and it just trickled out i told a member of the staff and she said they would have someone fix it the next day that really didnt help us out bc wr were only there for one night and then around 6:30 am our air conditioner stoped working all together. Now normally we enjoy this particular Hotel but not this visit very disappointed. Breakfast is always great here though thats a plus and the pool and spa tub are always on point.

The hotel is old and need a big reform.

I am appalled and shocked that Expedia would even offer this property to customers to stay. It is poorly kept, and there were no phones that worked in any of the rooms. In case of an emergency, there is no way guest at the hotel can reach the front desk, extra extraordinarily rude and difficult.

Everything was fine, this was our fifth time at this hotel…the only thing was the mosquitoes…in previous times we had never suffered from their bites, especially around the pool…it should be fumigated to prevent it 😩 Otherwise, very good as always!

The location is close to the bridge to Sanibel Island. Good price. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Large modern room, but poor lighting in the room. Large bathroom, but was disappointed I couldn't get a room with a tub when I thought I had reserved one. Limited TV channels. No HGTV channel. Coffee/Tea available 24/7. Lots of choices for the free breakfast. Plenty of parking. The area seemed safe.

We were frequent guest of this hotel until couple years ago seemed it went down. But we loved it there so gave another chance. Happy to say the rooms were very nice & the rooms where newly updated, pool beautiful and breakfast good except scrambled eggs where powder eggs nasty. Reception told us some extras we didn't get because we reserved through Expedia. Hmm??

My room was clean and in great condition. The breakfast each morning had a nice variety of options, which was a great start to the day. The staff really goes above and beyond to accommodate guests and make sure you feel at home. This will definitely be my top choice the next time I’m in Ft. Myers/Sanibel. Highly recommend!

I've stayed at this property a few times in the last few years. Glad to see that the property has undergone a makeover of several rooms. The wardrobe in my room needed an adjustment to the door would not close and it was brand new. There was an issue with the faucet not being secured to the counter. I mentioned both to the staff and it was taken care of. I figured it was an issue of contractor installation during renovation. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we are in town.

No hot water in bathroom 6:30 AM on check out day? No exhaust fan in bathroom either. Rm. #101 No breakfast before 7AM? Have had breakfast at 6AM at other motels.

The only problem we had was the bathtub was very slippery. When you took a shower you had to be very careful because the tub was very very slippery. I fell twice but did not get hurt. Just bruised on my arm. They need to check it out and put some kind of slip material in the tub.

This is our financially friendly home away from home<3 My daughter is obsessed with the massively big pool and hot tub!! Staff is always so helpful and kind! Wouldn’t trade this place for anything when it comes to just getting away for a few days and wanting to have a beach day since the Sanibel causeway is right next to it. Also the Circle K next door is perfect for last minute snacks and beer! The Publix next door also is perfect! Can easily walk to both places. Can’t wait to go back next month! <3

We have a time share on Sanibel and we always go a day early, stay at La Quinta and shop for necessities the next day before going on the Island! It’s close to lots of shopping and the island! And it is reasonably priced and clean! They also have a continental breakfast. Next year (2026) they may have a restaurant and bar, which would be a big plus!

The room had 3 lights on one side of the room and none on the other side. I had to put my suitcase on the sofa in order to see my clothes. The curtains were too thin. You could see right into the room unless you had the darkness shades pulled. For privacy, this made the room very dark. The eggs were too cheap with the breakfast and a lack of vareity with daily susage.

Great price but the room was very dark and not very clean. My son’s sheets were stained, there was hair on the bathroom floor and when I requested room service they never showed up so I went to get my own towels. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the people taking Upstairs and next door and it was pretty loud outside late at night. Breakfast was just ok. The only bagels were everything bagels and the only bread was white. And the beach was not a walkable distance.

The front desk staff were very good! The breakfast area and food choices were fine. The property is just tired: concrete needs repairing, only one elevator worked, not in a real walkable area. We only spent 1 night before we left on the Key West Express. Would have been very unhappy if this was our vacation spot for the week. The elevator was broken on our side of the hotel, so we had to lug our bags up 2 sets of stairs. The door did not lock well, and you could see light coming through it. The TV did not work well; the sound was distorted on some channels, which was frustrating. The rug was dirty, everything just seemed dirty. In the morning I took a shower, and the drain stopped up. It was a walk-in shower, so the water was about to overflow onto the floor. I went to the front desk for help but was told maintenance wasn't coming in until 9 am, and we couldn't wait. The very nice front desk lady gave me gloves and searched and found a plunger for me so I could attempt to unplug the drain. You also had to sign out pool towels, like I would want to keep their thin skimpy pool towels! The outside just seemed sad and run-down. I would never recommend this hotel. We were happy to leave. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because of the wonderful woman at the front desk, she was helpful and very nice. The pool also seemed nice for the little kids that were staying there. They seemed to be having fun.

Our room was infested with cockroaches. I have pictures and went to the front desk with the dead cockroaches to prove it. They said they would spray the room but it was at midnight and we had kids and a dog. Then the next night I killed 2 more. The kids dog and I ended up sleeping in our car for 2 nights at the hotel because we couldn't afford to get another room somewhere else

Also if you aren't a fan of cigarette smoke make sure you move the cigarette post down from your doorway otherwise the AC pulls the smoke straight into the room. Maybe we just had some inconsiderate neighbors but the posts should just be on the stairways. Problem solved.

Pool was large and great. Typical hot continental breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels, oranges, and bananas. That was fine for us. People were nice and no noise issues. We would stay there again!

Rooms were very clean

The television needed to be fixed. We reported it twice and no one tended to it.

Clean and safe

Had to change rooms after arriving. New room cleaner and no smell of pine sol. New room bathroom faucet broken and floors in need of major cleaning. We chose this hotel for the pool which is really very nice. The staff is really wonderful and accommodating. Just wish I didn't have to ask for a clean and well maintained room to sleep in

The elevator broke down and we were put on the third floor! Grounds were very dirty.

Beautiful pool, very quiet

The pool was great. However we had some kind of bugs on our rooms. Our arms, stomachs and ankles all have bites. Would not stay here again.

The front desk staff were outstanding! They offered information regarding local restaurants and beaches. They even provided a list of several near by restaurants. Bill went out of his way and shared a list of a few of his favorite spots both near the hotel and on Sanibel Island. The breakfast was much appreciated and helped us keep our dining cost down. We loved both the patio and pool areas. They were both well maintained. clean and comfortable. We were pleased with the housekeeping services. They were always prompt and efficient however they did not vacuum the carpet and occasionally forgot to replace cups. The location of the hotel was perfect. It took us no more than 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy many local beaches, nature hikes and museums. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fort Myers.

Hotel is a little old but clean, good staff, and an awesome pool. Enjoyed my time there!

Mediocre. Pool deck was dirty, bird poop on the chairs. Pool itself seemed very clean. The rooms are adequate size but could have been cleaner. Pool towels look like washcloths! Lamp in the room didn't work. Lighting was poor, hard to read.

Spent one night at the property. Very clean and quiet. Swimming pool is wonderful. Many people enjoying this delightful amenity.

Great pool and hot tub. Close to the beach!

We came for 9 days. We choose this property because of the pool. We called and were told the pool was at 87 degrees year round. We unfortunately only got to enjoy the pool for 2 days due to at first a part broke. They then supposedly got it fixed. It worked for a day and then the water was cold again. I and many others complained to the front desk who stated it was at 87 degrees but that was not accurate. COLD water was flowing into the pool. It was funny but the next day suddenly warm water was flowing again. It was disapointing that we only were able to utilize the pool itself for two days. At the beginning I had to go to the desk everyday to get new towels as well. I was treated very nice by the staff except unfortunately the person who said she was the manager was very rude and argued with my suggestion the pool was cold. All of the other staff were friendly. I don't know that we would go back there.
