It was our 1st time at this place and we had a wonderful time. Def come again.

Diamondhead is our home away from home when visiting Ft Myers Beach.

From parking, check-in, the room, view, pool and bar, everything was wonderful. Our only complaint is that you cannot access your streaming services. We traveled there the first of June 2026.

We stayed in room 1208. Ocean front. Large balcony with table and chairs and two lounge chairs. Very clean. If I had any complaint it would be the water pressure was low, but I doubt the hotel was to blame for that. Highly recommend.

Very nice pool and lounge by pool. Short walk to beach and we got the use of lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach for free. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Also close to nice restaurants and things to keep you busy!

It's right on the beach, well-maintained throughout, meal options good but limited. Different hours at places to eat and happy hours which can be hard to keep track of. One restaurant isn't open Monday or Tuesday.

I didn’t feel the staff gave us a good overview of all the amenities of the property on arrival and we were not told that it wasn’t daily cleaning of the rooms… the hotel was nice. It was clean. Cabana restaurant was great…. Would’ve liked to see more nightly activities and better music. The karaoke gentleman was there more for himself than for the group.

We really enjoyed the Oceanfront King Suite. It was very clean and spacious. We loved that we were right on the beach, and that the pool and beach bar, Cabanas, was easily accessible from the beach. It was a very upbeat atmosphere; a relaxing and fun place for a vacation. The staff was excellent and accommodating. We are definitely planning on going back next year!

Our stay was all that we wanted the room was clean and very comfortable #1205 the A/C was cold small kitchen area was perfect the amenity’s at the resort were top notch and the staff was amazing short walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella and the pool was clean and perfect temp older crowd great music not to loud and drinks at the pool bar were tasty definitely will be coming back also walking distance to the restaurant area we had an awesome stay!!

The stay was wonderful! Be mindful the beach is still recovering and while there was construction next door it was over at a decent time. I go constantly to support the area and encourage others too! The beach was amazing the amenities made it even better! Thank you Diamond Head!

The elevator is to slow and no air conditioner they don’t offer breakfast, difficult to connect to there WiFi. The staff was very friendly and great.

This was our second time here. We love the close proximity to the beach, the quiet family atmosphere, spacious rooms, on-site restaurants and included chair/umbrella setups!

We loved our suite, it was very clean and updated with a beautiful view of the pool and beach! All of the staff here are very friendly and extreme helpful. Came right up with new towels when asked and fixed our air immediately when it stopped working. Within walking distance to a lot of places. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great. Just lacking in housekeeping (only 1x per week sheet change) and we had to call to get fresh towels and empty our own garbage and was told to leave it in the hallway.

We stayed in room 1108. It's a one bedroom suite on the 11th floor facing the beach. We were there in mid May of 2026. The view was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and beach were awesome too. Very few kids around which was okay for us. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the bar at the beach and pool area closes at 8 pm and the indoor bar closed at 10 pm. Even on the weekends. Way too early for most vacationers.

Clean friendly staff.The restaurant was amazing expensive.But amazing food Plenty of seating at the pool , have chairs and umbrellas out at the beach that are set up for you awesome. Couple of disappointing issues, you are paying a resort fee, which usually means there's some activities there Are none. TVS are not smart, TV'snNo no Netflix.Disney No way to program in your code from home to watch Unless you brought a firestick . And who would think about that. Their movie channel to rent a movie. Had A total of I think four movies that you could rent nothing in the theaters or anything you've ever heard of before sad. if you had kids and you couldn't program in Netflix Or Disney,.other thing is, if you're a coffee drinker, you better bring your own coffee maker. Finding a cup of coffee after twelve o'clock is like finding a unicorn. Resort Newly remodeled, not having a smart TV or being able to find a cup of Coffee at a resort . They had a barista trailer downstairs, but it closed at noon . Even the lobby didn't have coffee After 12 or 1 o'clock. But it is a beautiful place in the staff is super friendly and the restaurant was amazing food. Bring your own coffee maker., and a fire stick and the place would be perfect

Front desk staff, I believe Victoria, was very nice!

Room was not as clean as it could have been. However they did come and clean it after it was brought to their attention. The staff was very good and took care of all our needs.

Staff was wonderful especially Victoria. The crew at the bar were friendly and fun. Provided great service. Great place to stay will definitely return in the future

Hotel is very nice, it was our 3rd time visiting, however, we requested a low floor through Expedia, which they couldn’t accommodate, very disappointing, went several times to move to a lower floor, without success. We had entertainment daily in the past, not this year, very limited. There was extreme banging from construction next door, which all of the guests were upset by, understandably, out of control by the hotel, wish an ordinance would have limited that, with a resort right next door. All that said, we will not be staying there a 4th time.

The building, the buildings restrooms and suites are always clean. Drinks and food are delicious...and it's just a great place to be.

Great hotel but loud... airplanes landing nearby, street traffic noise. Plus I got room backing to 2 elevator banks. Room 1203... But beach location, bar n restaurant, pool all good.

Staff were friendly, helpful and willing to assist you. Hotel was well kept, rooms were well set up and well stocked. Restaurant and beach bar served excellent food with great customer service. Beach was beautiful with free chairs and umbrellas every day. Pool was perfect and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Staff came to you to take and deliver food and drink orders at pool or nearby tables. We had the best time!!

Personnel at the front desk is very professional but One the server at the beach restaurant is very arrogant and incompetent ( worst service I never had) There was one thing that really pissed me off : while chairs and and umbrellas are supposed to be free , an extra is charged for a third chair and second umbrella 42$ . This is a small amount compared at the value of our stay but the business model of suck off as much money as possible to the clients already in place is contrary to my values . I asked the hotel to waive this charge , they refused . I will never go back there even I liked the location

Location is great right on the beach. We also had free beach chairs and an umbrella making the beach time better.

The real highlight of our stay was the wait staff in the outside dining area, particularly Jayden, Tyler, and Gabe. The property itself is nice. The room was wonderful with great oceanfront views, and it was very spacious. Our major disappointment was that there was no housekeeping at all during our four night stay. One more thing ot mention is that the air conditioning unit in the kitchen area was so loud that we absolutely had to close the bedroom door at night to sleep.

The remodaled rooms were nice. Bed was comfortable. The poolside/beachside bar, Cabanas, is awesome, Great bartenders. Having lunch on the beach was great. We didn't try the restaurant. We got a breakfast sandwich at the food truck one morning that was very good. The property provides you with two chairs and an umbrella at the beach for their guests which is great. Pool and beach towels provided. There are great restaurants nearby. We wish the pool was bigger so you could spread out away from the kids. We had no problem parking everyday. The only thing that was negative is they told us when we checked in they would refresh our room on a certain day and we noticed early afternoon on the day it was scheduled for that it had not been done. So we asked at the front desk to make sure it was to happen. They told us the staff was on till 4pm. At 3;30pm still no one. We contacted the front desk again and they sent someone up with towels and changed the garbage. I guess we expected the bed at least to be changed too. It wasn't clear what refreshed meant and we should have asked when we checked in. Not a big deal. We were there for 5 days 4 nights. The beach is huge. Everyone on staff was awesome.

The hotel room was amazing great views of the sunrise and beach. We had a great time. Drinks and pool food was tasty. We had a great time. Easy walk to Moms and other local restaurants. Shuttle stops right out front.

The beach is absolutely beautiful—clean, relaxing, and just steps away. One of our favorite parts was having a private balcony with the room. It made mornings and evenings so enjoyable, with great views and a perfect place to unwind. The overall experience was easy, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for in a beach getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and relaxing

Location of property for us is perfect for local staycations as we are off island locals.

The poolside was great with good options for food and drinks. The Music during the day was odd. They mainly played 80's rock music which isn't what I normally think of when hanging out on the beach or by the pool.

This was a great place to stay, the beach view rooms are amazing with large balconies and beautiful views.

Most of the staff was great. All except for the 2nd floor bar. They were terrible. So we just stayed out of that restaurant.

They give you one toilet paper roll. You need to ask for more daily. Barely any towels. No room service even when you ask.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable, one of the nicest I've slept on at a hotel. The mini kitchen was great to put leftovers. The resort was next to the beach so that makes the getting there very convenient. The resort is located about a 10 min walk to the downtown Fort Myers Beach. The Coste restaurant was excellent. One of the nice perks of staying here was the fact that each room gets a umbrella and 2 lounger everyday. Overall, very happy with the stay and would definitely come back.

Loved the rooms, the beach access and amenities (chairs and umbrellas), pool and spa were nice too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and always available. Zeb, Ashley, Garret, and Tim were absolute gems 💎

A wonderful place to stay! The desk attendants Victoria and Karina were excellent! They were very helpful, courteous, and pleasant. All of the other staff were very accommodating as well. We spent a couple hours each day at the pool and the attendance/waiters were extremely pleasant and attentive. Every guest we encountered was also very pleasant. Looking forward to going back to Diamondhead Beach Resort next year!

First time staying at Diamond Head and this hotel is super nice. It’s got a chill vibe and geared towards more of a “seasoned” crowd; not spring breakers which is what we were looking for this time. Pool area isn’t huge but we were all about the beach. Attendants were all very nice and accommodating and shout out to Sean or Shaun (maintenance guy?) He heard us talking in the elevator about needing ice for our drinks / beach day and he hooked us up with an ice filled cooler on wheels so that worked out great for our days on the beach. Food was excellent my friend got the grouper Reuben sandwich and she said it was so flippin good. Coconut shrimp was also excellent. Bartenders were friendly and kept drinks flowing. Overall my friend & I would definitely stay there again!!!! PS loved the walk in shower. No bathtub to step into and out of!!!! They use Gloss by Pure shower gel / shampoo & conditioner. Next time I won’t be packing those items if they continue to use that product line. Highly regarded products. Hope this review helps others. They don’t carry the little items such was /shower caps; q-tips in the rooms. Also I don’t remember seeing a sundry place to get forgotten items like deodorant or razor etc.

Great beach and restaurants

Beach view was perfect! The outdoor pool was crowded and people “claimed” their chairs by the umbrellas early in the morning but the chairs sat empty all day with a towel on it. I felt uncomfortable, moving the towels that were on the chairs. I was also bothered by the fact that people were eating while they were sitting in the pool. I can’t believe public health would allow that.

Nice resort, beach front with the ocean right there. The room was nice it was a suite but had no stove so double check if you book a suite. The amenities were good, nice heated pool with a casual restaurant ocean front. There’s also a nice formal restaurant looking over the ocean. Food was great! The only negative is they sell day passes for the pool to outsiders so it can get busier with families using the pool, especially on the weekends. I feel for the price you pay the amenities should be for guests only.

The location on Fort Myers’s Beach was perfect. It’s on a section of the beach that is not as crowded as other spots, yet close enough to walk to the popular spots and restaurants. Elevators were slow. Could have been cleaner.

Location is wonderful. Facilities are excellent. Beds are comfortable. Nice size lanai with comfortable furniture. Water pressure low in shower but the water splashes out of the door with no shower curtain to stop it. Bar food is just OK.

Pool and beach area was nice. Room only cleaned day before we left. Over on end of bed was dirty when we arrived and tv did not work. Fixed one and then bedroom tv quit working. We were not impressed with restaurant meal. Steak was tough and not cooked as requested.

The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with breathtaking views, stunning sunsets, and easy access to the sand and water. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying morning coffee overlooking the Gulf was unforgettable. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a great view. The resort amenities were top-notch: a gorgeous pool area, clean beach setup, and everything you need for a stress-free vacation. The grounds were well-kept and had a peaceful, tropical feel. Would definitely stay again!

Great hotel. Our room was a 750 ft.² room with a very comfortable pullout couch for our daughter. The pool area was phenomenal. It had a very warm pool and a hot tub with tons of chairs and towels. At the beach you also get two free beach chairs and umbrella included with your room. Extra chairs are $10 each.

We love staying at DiamondHead! Rented two rooms this year! Great view, good bar & grill, and umbrella & seats by the water… simply perfect!!

Location is right on the beach and it’s fun, but not overly crowded I have nothing negative to say about Diamondhead Beach resort

I really liked the set up. The room had a small kitchen and everything was very comfortable. The beach was beautiful in December! The pool and hot tubs were always used and there was live entertainment around five. If I come back to Fort Meyers, I will stay here again.

The resort was wonderful. The rooms were super clean, the staph were attentive, and the view of the ocean were terrific. The sand art contest was going in; but, even with all the extra people around, the service was top shelf.

Everything about this resort is spectacular! Staff, amenities, room! We had a wonderful stay!

Suite was large, well-appointed and spotless with a comfortable bed and beautiful view from the balcony. The kitchenette had refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as dishes and utensils. Coste Island Cuisine and Cabanas had good food and live music.

Room was clean and very spacious. Enjoyed having the kitchenette and living area space. Four elevators whisk you up and down efficiently. Music at the bar was lively. The chairs and umbrellas provided were a nice bonus. Also, free parking!

I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday at this resort. Gia welcomed me in the lobby and told me about the resort. She was super friendly, but everyone was really friendly. I bought day passes to the resort for my family that lived in the area, and they enjoyed themselves as well. The pool was perfectly warm the hot tubs were HOT! The variety of live bands made the experience even better. I will be back. The weather was perfect 81-85 everyday!

Nice room, very clean, nice facilities, very comfortable bed, amazing location to walk to great restaurants. Our only complaint was that the AC didn’t work well! It ran continuously but never got below 75 degrees. Thankful for the ceiling fan to sleep, but it was very hot during the day. We reported the problem.

It was our first time visiting Fort Myers Beach. DiamondHead resort provided a great place to stay. Clean room, comfortable beds, great shower, overall a very nice place. Restaurants were great. The beach chairs and umbrella was a definite plus. Close enough to walk to Times Square area (but golf cart taxi service is also available at a reasonable rate). Note: some unit’s have a little stove top ours did not. We had bought some eggs before arriving and ended up giving them to a staff member. Next time we visit we plan on staying here again.

Michael was very helpful upon check in and gave VIP treatment. Great customer service! Beautiful beach access! There is a small pool area for those that wish to venture there in lieu of beach. Although the pool was cold, it was clean and offered poolside service from bar and grill. A great perk! Would stay again.

Very good

The hotel has been renovated due to the damage from the hurricane which makes everything prettier in general. The bathrooms have a lack of ventilation so after a day or two the showers tend to have a mildew smell. The beds were comfortable and the mini kitchen was great for our stay during a baseball tournament. The food at the beach bar and at the restaurant were yummy. Nice to have that great option in the hotel. The front desk and other staff members were very friendly and helpful with a bothersome neighbor who repeatedly had bumping loud music at all hours of the morning, day and night. They were able to silence it every time. Great location for a PG Baseball Tourney to all of the local fields (20-30 min drive). Coming back to the beach was worth it all.

The smell was so strong that if we opened the slider to walk in and out to the balcony, you could smell it in the room.

The room was amazing, view of the beach and pool were nice. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, the whole room was very clean. Staff were very helpful and I love that there were chairs and umbrellas out on the beach for guest.

The resort was fantastic and very accommodating throughout our stay. The beach and pool area are very nice. If you are looking for a nice quiet trip then this is the place for you. If you are looking for lively activities with solid options for dining and bars near by I would not stay here. Again great resort for relaxing but zero nightlife.

Beautiful room with an amazing view. Very clean. We loved the pool and the largest pool bar we have ever seen. The food at pool bar was very good, as well as the cocktails. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We walked to Time Square to eat. We will definitely come back here.

We love this resort and came back for the 4th time. They have a great pool bar with food and a very good elevated restaurant. All of the rooms are spacious suites too, which we love. Having said that, for the first time in our 4 stays, we did not know while booking, the week before, or even when we arrived that the pool bar was closed for half our trip and the higher end restaurant was closed the whole time! We would have come at a different time had we known this. We were pretty disappointed! Again, we love this place, but that was a big let down.

Great resort on a very beautiful beach. It has 2 great restaurants on site and with in walking distance to many more along with all of the area shops and attractions. Great location.

Place was exactly as described but it's really a condo not a resort. No gym. Beach is the best part open not that many people. Knew there was construction going on, did not bother me at all. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Clearly they are updating, but it’s fine. The staff was exceptional! Beyond friends, checked in, smiles just genuinely seemed happy to see us, it was really nice.

Outstanding beachfront hotel. Only issue was the close to pool construction but they told us about beforehand. All of the rooms seem to be getting an update so ill definitely return. The bartenders, staff, construction workers every one was friendly and helpful.

The staff at the resort are fantastic. Jen in Coste Island Cuisine was amazing. Not only was she friendly but as a first time solo traveler she made me feel so relaxed. The food at both the pool bar and Coste Island was delicious. My room was very clean and had everything you’d need if you wanted to cook on your trip. My only issue is when people are in the hallway it’s very loud and your voice echoes and the elevator AC wasn’t great.

Loved the pool the music! We ate at the cafe but there were so many flies we couldn’t eat our food!

hotel is newly renovated since the last time it was hit by hurricane Ian (2022). room were clean, nice view from balcony, staff were friendly. unable to experience the hotel restaurant. beach area is clean with 2 beach chairs and umbrella included with hotel stay ( probably cost $80). hotel has a dj with daily activities which is a plus. area wise, the whole fort myer beach is still recovering with lots of ongoing constructions. pier/ boardwalk still missing. maybe in 4-5 years it might be comparable to destin or panama city.

Great quiet resort. Friendly staff at the bar and front desk. Room had separate bedroom and pull out couch in living room. Nice view of beach and city. Only complaint is that even though there was no housekeeping, I wished they would of passed by daily to pick up and exchange wet towels.

Great location and clean rooms. Just wished our room would have been ready when we checked in at 4pm.

Loved or stay. Beachside and access to umbrellas and chairs at the beach. Pool was good. Warm but it would be impossible to try to keep it cool with the hot Florida Temps. Live music and fun atmosphere. Close enough to walk to downtown but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Will definitely return.

I really like this place

Excellent place to stay, clean, accommodating, staff was excellent. Not your fault, but the dredger on the beach was a little annoying.

Overall I liked this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean for the most part, with the exception of the floors. Staff were very friendly and the beach was great. The only things I didnt like were the super slow elevators and there was zero water pressure in the shower, which makes it really hard to wash your hair if its long. It also would have been nice if the bar/restaurant by the pool stayed open later.

The cleaning needs to be improved, the dishwasher does not work. And the beds are very uncomfortable, there is also very little variety in the hotel restaurants. For the rest, everything is fine, very good attention.

We loved our gulf view room which was very spacious, clean and had wonderful amenities particularly the kitchen. Great sized balcony with plenty of room for all 4 of us to sit out on and still have lots of space. Everything was very clean and the staff were all super friendly. Location was excellent, right on the beach with the use of loungers and umbrella. Free parking was also great. We were able to walk and explore FMB. Highly recommend the dolphin and shelling tour with good time charters too.

The hotel was great with a beautiful view of the Gulf. We did have an AC issue, but the staff responded promptly to fix it. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Diamond Head Beach resort is a fantastic place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Friendly staff. Hotel has direct beach access as well as two hot tubs and a pool. Rooms are clean and the one bedroom suites are wonderful! Spacious suites with a small kitchen. The one I stayed in had a small refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen, sink, and area to use for food prep. This room was spacious and clean. Request an additional towels to be brought to my room Request a additional towels to be brought to my room and the staff who delivered the towels were very friendly The only downfall is the drinks at the bar are basically slushies. I was expecting to get an awesome creamy piña colada but instead it was just a basically a coconut pineapple slushy with some alcohol. Another benefit is the hotel now offers two beach chairs and an umbrella each day for their guest to use on the beach, highly recommend.

Great location

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed. For the rate they charge, you’d expect something more refined — but the experience was anything but. The decor is basic and feels cheaply done. The hallways are painted with a rough industrial coating you'd typically see in a garage, not a guest-friendly environment. The bathrooms are outdated, the sinks clog, and the electronics in the room are the absolute cheapest and most outdated I’ve seen in a long time. To make matters worse, the hotel is undergoing remodeling — which they fail to mention up front. Construction noise starts as early as 7:00 AM, disrupting any chance of rest. Guests have to share elevators with construction workers and equipment, which is inconvenient and frankly unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. The check-in time is unusually late and the check-out time far too early, giving guests minimal time to actually enjoy their stay. And to top it all off, there’s a foul smell lingering in the pool area that seems to be coming from the bar — making what should be a relaxing space quite the opposite. There are much better and more comfortable options in the area for the same or lower price. You’d honestly be better off staying at Margaritaville.

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend with our two young kids. It was a great location on Fort Myers Beach. Fun stuff to do on the beach. Walking distance from other restaurants and things to do. The firework show was by far the best we’ve ever seen. We were on the 6th floor oceanfront balcony and basically had front row seats! We found a ton of seashells. Checked out Sanibel Island. Hung out on the beach and pool everyday! Best weekend! They’re still repairing from Hurricanes but don’t let that stop you from staying. Food was great here and staff are super friendly!

Everything was wonderful! Checkin was easy, bracelets for the room and pools were a great idea! The beach chairs and umbrellas were fantastic and free with the stay!! We will definitely be back!! Margaritaville is a short walk, scooter rental is across the street. Got a ride to nervous Nellie’s restaurant from the limo golf cart for $3 each person. Just a great experience!!

First, the location is absolutely unbeatable—right on the beach with gorgeous views and a lively, fun atmosphere. The poolside bar and live music were great touches, and the room was spacious with a lovely balcony. We also appreciated the friendly front desk staff. That said, there were some important concerns that impacted our stay: 1. Parking was extremely limited. Since the restaurant and bar are open to the public, many spaces were taken up by non-guests. As paying resort guests, we expected either assigned parking or at least guaranteed availability. This was frustrating, especially after returning in the evening. 2. The elevator situation was a mess. At times, only one elevator was working for the entire building. Even when both were running, they were very slow and often crowded. It caused long waits and inconvenience, especially when hauling beach gear or luggage. 3. Upon arrival, we noticed long black hairs in the shower and on the walls, which made us question how well the room was cleaned. Also, the shower floor is dangerously slippery and could easily cause a fall. Definitely something that needs attention for guest safety. 4. The pull-out refrigerator in the kitchen area was extremely loose, and unfortunately, my boyfriend cut his foot badly on it. It definitely needs

It was a great place and loved the big balcony and view. Front lobby people were super nice and helpful except for a Veronica, she was a little rude and not very polite. The bands that played were good. Pool was very clean. Only thing that i see they could improve on is the way they do housekeeping. * sheets, towell etc. . And they need to upgrade coffee pots in the room to k-cups.

The room was spacious and nicely equipped. The balcony was large. The beach was excellent. It was nice that beach chairs and umbrella were included. Restaurants close enough to walk.

We have been visiting DiamondHead for at least 15 years. It is the only place for us on Ft Myers Beach. Beautiful beach front suites , dining options. Views. Just gorgeous. Staff is always great. Property is immaculate even after going through Hurricane Ian. They have rebounded nicely and it remains my favorite spot on the island

Excellent and friendly staff. Clean rooms. The beach access was great. The pool was nice and clean, but uncomfortably warm for me, but my toddlers loved it. We are wokring on a return trip. O, and the Cabanas restaurant was great and the added benefit of the umbrella and chairs made life so easy. A great place for familes and couples alike.

One set of elevators were noy working so when wanting to go anywhere it seemed to take forever to get on and off the elevator. And nothing opened for breakfast

The room was overall fairly clean. The couch looked liked it could have used a cleaning though. The food at the Cabana was awful. My Son and I tried multiple dishes over the course of a few days. Very disappointed in each. We even tried the food at varying times of the day but it didn't seem to help the quality or flavor.

Excellent property, spacious rooms and beautiful views. Do NOT expect hospitality from the staff though. Very discourteous and seemed bothered by any communication. They also charge extra for included amentities if you book through a third party. I would stay here again, but lack of hospitality definitely left a bad taste.

Definitely hadn’t recovered from the hurricanes. The room was clean. Problems with the elevators and hot tubs.
