This hotel was very well maintained, and the rooms were clean and not dated. The view was awesome and it’s close to a lot of amenities in the Fort Myers area.

I had a really good experience staying here. The views are beautiful and make the whole stay feel very relaxing. I also liked the location because there are many places to eat nearby, including an IHOP right across the street, which was very convenient. Another thing I enjoyed was having a nearby place to go fishing and relax. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room cool the entire time. Also, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The pool was very dirty, there were not enough umbrellas, and the chair cushions were in terrible condition and felt disgusting. The elevators also felt unsafe and smelled very bad. On top of that, they were constantly being used by the cleaning staff, which made them uncomfortable to use. The room had a very strong mold smell from the moment we walked in. The bathtub looked old, dirty, and poorly maintained, and the towels had stains on them. The worst part was that the rooms were not cleaned during the stay at all. They only clean them after check out. No trash removal, no towel changes, nothing, which was honestly terrible for a hotel stay. There was also a very unpleasant situation during our stay. A crime happened on the first floor of the building, the area was blocked off, and the elevator access became limited. We had to ask for permission to enter or leave the building, and a police officer was always accompanying us.

What I liked the most were the views, the pier, and the friendly staff. There are also several places to eat nearby, and the air conditioning worked very well, which was definitely appreciated. But honestly, the overall experience was very bad. The entire place constantly smelled like marijuana, including the hallways and common areas. The room had a very strong mold smell, and the bathroom looked old, ugly, and poorly maintained. One thing that really bothered me was that they do not clean the rooms during your stay. They do not change towels, take out the trash, or do any cleaning until check out. The elevator also smelled terrible, sometimes even like urine. The breakfast was very poor with very little variety. Also, whenever they cleaned rooms after guests checked out, they left trash bags, towels, and other items outside the rooms, which looked very unpleasant and caused bad smells in the hallways. I definitely would not recommend this place for families or people traveling with children because the marijuana smell throughout the hotel makes the stay very uncomfortable.

My husband and I had a nice relaxing time this is our second time staying at this hotel we love the view,the restaurant is also good there,IHOP is right there also and very good staff and food,there's lots of things within near distance.Now I will say they need a higher toilet also a sink, and better lights in the bathroom to be able to put your makeup on if you are a woman,the hotel is older but they do keep it clean the best they can,they do need to have king size beds also,remodeling the place and with some nice upgrades the place would look much better and it would be rated a 4 to 5 star just because the view is awesome!!!! Other then that we had a nice time!! Unfortunately while we was there a terrible tragedy occurred on the 1st floor that we heard a 2 year old was killed,very sad.Police all over the place,and the crime scene Unit covering 2 of the first floor rooms..Praying for the family of the child 🙏🙏

Parking was ok. Room needs major remodeling. Bathroom was discussting. Phone doesn't work to call the desk had to use my cell phone. Lights don't work. No shampoo and no service personnel to bring the shampoo. I don't recommend this place at all. Breakfast is normal nothing special. Only thing is on the water and it was noisy.

Overall well worth the money for this hotel compared to other waterfront properties that were double to triple for a long weekend getaway.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past five years whenever I’m in town visiting family, and it has always been a go-to because of its great location and consistently friendly customer service. Unfortunately, my most recent stay did not meet the standard I’ve come to expect. When I arrived, the shower had hair in the tub from a previous guest, which was disappointing. I also had difficulty adjusting the A/C—the thermostat only responded when I applied pressure. The remote control felt sticky, several lights in the room were not working, and the room phone wasn’t even plugged in. Normally, I would have reached out to the front desk, but I checked in late after a long day and didn’t have the energy to switch rooms or deal with the inconvenience at that time. I still genuinely like this hotel and plan to continue staying here, but I do believe it may be time for some updates. Renovations such as replacing the carpets and upgrading room features would make a big difference in the overall guest experience. I’m hopeful that improvements will be made, as I would love to continue returning for years to come.

This was the only hotel with a balcony on our trip, and it was beautiful overlooking the river facing south. Quiet location just across the river from the downtown city and sights, so the view out the window at night over the river toward the city was pretty spectacular. The room was spacious, the carpet thick and luxurious, and the bathroom nice and large with plenty of places to put things. If we return to Ft. Myers, we'd definitely consider staying here again. It's an older motel and showing some of its age, and it's too bad the neighborhood is tired as well. We didn't eat breakfast downstairs, because the outside door into the kitchen was noticeably misshapen; but our fave breakfast place, Skillets, was right en route to our planned activities south of Ft. Myers. No vent fan in the bathroom.

Unsure. I was expecting a room with a balcony and view of the river. I got the room with a balcony but the view was of the back of the restaurant on the first floor, literally the door going into the kitchen was infront of us. I was told it was this room and another available that wasn't clean. I said don't I have a reservation? The guy giggled some and said your just here for ine night. That shouldn't matter. The guy was nice and I understand not his fault, the rest if the staff was fine. The restaurant was delicious but we got stuck with a waitress that most of the time was no where in site. I overpaid for this room big time! Room 117. There were beer bottle caps under the bed.

The room wasn't what was in the picture so keep that in mind, also queen beds were pretty small which was weird. You have to specify that you want a room on a higher floor because what was automatically given was a room on the first floor so there was NO VIEW!

All was great until I tried to shower in the morning. It did not work! Upon checking out I let the receptionist know and asked how they could even clean the bathtub without running water, that’s when he started raising his voice to us. He gave me the managers card. Two emails sent to the manager with no response. I emailed corporate, still waiting for a response.

Hotel is dated, but clean. Beautiful water views. Beautiful pool area and docks. Good restaurant serving locally caught fish. Balconies off each room provided excellent visitas of the water. Great location near downtown. Quick access via car to downtown shoppes and restaurants.

Front desk clerk was not very friendly when checking in. Lobby was overly fragrant with the smell of cheap cleaner. When I went to my room my key didn’t work and ultimately maintenance had to come do surgery on the doorknob to make it work. The area around the hotel seemed a little sketchy. While none of these are necessarily deal breakers I would explore other options since there are so many.

We stayed for nine nights and had to ask for supplies and for our room to be cleaned twice while we were there, otherwise I don’t think they would have acknowledged us beyond check-in. Also, the vending machines on both the 2nd and 5th floors of the east tower took money but didn’t give change (or at least the right change) and didn’t always give the product, either. We would love to stay there again because, again, the location is convenient and the views were wonderful, but it really needs new carpet and updated appliances (micro and mini fridge).

Reserved a high river view king. When I got there Ariel told me a 2 queen was all that was left, I was the last to check in. That I had been upgraded. We got in the room 217 dirty , lights didn’t work, smelled the balcony view was the back of another building not the river. When I went back to office another person was checking in. I told Ariel that room was not what I had paid for. Ariel then informed me they had a king balcony and another room I could have. I will never stay there again.

Room was dirty when we got there. Someone left their toe nails on the couch and some crumbs(?) all over the top of the freezer door. Didn't complain, relatively minor. Room was otherwise quite nice, very spacious. View was both great and awful. Payed a premium to upgrade our room to an upper floor, got the 3rd floor dead center above the restaurant. The roof of the restaurant is pretty ugly, loud, dirty, and we had the smells of cooking food coming into our room whenever the restaurant was open. Also had a strong cigar smell coming in from the guy on the ground floor. If you ignored the roof top, or held a camera just at the right spot, the view of the river and skyline were awesome. My husband thought about asking to switch rooms but the place was packed and it sounded like there were no rooms available, so we just dealt with it. Breakfast buffet was good to awesome everyday, depended on how early you got there and if some of the more popular stuff (yogurt, pastries) was still available. Staff were ok overall, front desk staff were efficient and as friendly as they could be, it was just very busy for them. I would say the facility overall could use a good deep clean, lots deferred maintenance around the facility, including the restaurant (ceiling/lighting could really use some sort of cleaning, it was bad). I would stay here again, price was ok, food was good, pillows were fluffy and plentiful. Location not always close to where we were headed each day, spent a lot on Uber.

When we got to the room, we found it dark, dingy and damp. The front door was difficult to open. The bathroom featured rusted fixtures.

The room was okay, but the bathroom was subpar. The bathtub had a rusty drain and the floor was dirty. I even laid a towel in the bathtub so as not to have to step on it.

Office staff were phenomenal. The room was absolutely perfect for a one night quick stay let me tell you the shower pressure was amazing! My only small complaint was that we were on the first floor so our balcony had a little opening that went directly out into the pool and restaurant, but we didn’t hear any noise or have any kind of disturbances. Parking was easy very close to the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not sure you want to hear my feedback. This is the dirtiest, filthiest place I have stayed. No redeeming qualities. Front desk man was nice this morning, and young woman at desk last Friday night was extremely welcoming. The view from the deck was pleasant. The bagels were ok, and the folded cheese eggs were passable. It's just that I would have preferred a clean room, not fancy just clean. The room was gross and my niece and brother remarked the same about their room. My nephew was disgusted. The older brother was just as disgusted. This was a shock considering the nice Best Westerns in the U K.

Old hotel

So let me start off by saying I’m a local that lives in Lehigh and we were just looking for somewhere to stay at for a weekend that’s nice. I came across this hotel and the view looked amazing. It looked like it was a good nice hotel so I was like let’s do it but once we got there, you know we explored a little bit. All there is to that hotel. Is one little building where the lobby is at which is small next to it is the east and West building which is literally just rooms. That’s it in the middle. There is a hallway to go to the hotel and to the pool and also to the docking area, which has a very pretty viewer, but other than those things there is absolutely nothing else to that hotel if you’re looking just for somewhere to stay the night, it’s not bad, but if you were looking for something like us with things to do a big lobby area, a recreational room or something like that then I don’t recommend it

Really great restaurant associated with a hotel. If you are willing to walk across the bridge, you will get to the historic district, which is a lot of fun. That’s the area I would recommend for dining. Unfortunately we did not have hot water one day. And we had some very noisy people in the hotel who banged at our door late at night. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The Restaurant staff were all fantastic and very helpful. Especially at breakfast.

Room was clean in visible areas but not so much behind cabinets and such. The room smelled like wet, dirty carpet, and that was probably the worst part of it. The TV was pretty old and super dark, the iron did not work. Had to call front desk about shower not working, but it turns out the faster handle was just very hard to move. I felt like I was about to pull it out of the wall. In general, the room was pretty dated and not so clean, but the view was simply amazing. I guess, for the price, you can’t really complain too much

The views are awesome as is the location. The staff is very nice. Our room needed a major update. It was very very small but with the balcony it enhanced the size.

The room is musty and smelled moldy. I used essential oils to freshen and cleanse the air. I had multiple challenges using the passkey to enter the room. The maintenance man came twice to help me enter.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel the rooms were dirty with no maid service you have to walk to the office to get your own towels and must hike your dirty ones with you to exchange and the manager and staff were the rudest people I have ever meet , the air inn my room broke down 4 times in two different rooms and the weather was at 100+ temperatures and every time we asked for help with the issue we were meet with rude hostile employees I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

This was the worst hotel I have ever in 54 years stayed at the ac in my room broke down 3 times in 100 degree weather I had to chang my room because of this and after 2 days it’s ax broke down as well the Wi-Fi almost never worked there is no house keeping while your in the room if you need towels you have to go all the way to the other end of the property to get them at the office , the pool closes early and opens late morning and the worst part of the stay was the manager she became angry that we complained as I think anyone would I’m not normally one to complain but come on , so she proceeded to have here staff to refuse the rest of our reservation which by that time I had had enough anyway but waited until after check out to tell us and had her staff wait by the door giving us no time to pack out things as they should be and we had to run out the door this may sound crazy or maybe you would think I was a bad customer but no this hotel and experience was insane I would never recommend anyone stay at this hotel!

As soon as we walked up we realized that the key pad for entry was broken. Once we walked in we noticed a fogger that was left in the middle of the room. That told us that they did not clean the room fully between customer stays. The mini fridge was missing parts and the A/C did not cooler than 75 degrees. The bathroom sink did not drain unless you manually lifted center piece in the sink. Lastly the toilet overflowed on the second use. I had gotten the best room that this hotel has to offer. Top floor with a view that overlooked the water. We were suppose to stay for two nights. We contacted the front desk about our issues and asked for a refund. They told us that because we got the room through hotels.com that we would have to take it up with them however they would leave a note for the manager to approve the request for a return. We decided to leave after only being there for a few hours and cancel our next night there. The hotel eventually declined our request for a refund on our stay even for the night we did not stay. I would highly recommend never staying at this location. Hotels.com should not do business with this hotel. This location is a 0 out of 10 because of cleanliness and customer service.

There was mixed views so we decided to go with it The rooms were not at all in the pictures that they had shown they smelled. The bed was uncomfortable, and the phone was literally ripped out of the wall and sitting on the bedside table.

The hotel is in great location - but … as any old hotel the furnishing and carpet looks and felt/smelled old. Access to the building is open, has an elevator which is convenient, and ice machines that actually work. I didn’t have time for breakfast but the restaurant where is served is lovely and its waterfront with a nice covered patio - access couldn’t have been more convenient, just a few steps from my room. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend the property to anyone looking in the area. The location didn’t feel unsafe.

It was nice, the staff was wonderful, the pillows and towels were good. The mattress was really bad. The coffee was good, the bagels were alright, the eggs and sausage were not, about blew up the bathroom afterwards. Overall i would stay there again, just hope they get better mattresses soon.

We could not get a room higher than 1st floor as none were available yet hotel was lightly occupied? Clerk was uncaring and matter of fact. Yet when our ac wasn’t working in our room they said they had another room available in a higher floor? Did not make sense. Hotel has declined significantly as we’ve stayed here before. In addition to faulty a/c our outlets didn’t work, and the clerk was unreachable for 2 hours of calling front desk to address a/c issue. Bathroom tile was dirty. Very disappointing. Won’t be returning.

I sent them multiple emails that I needed to cancel my stay because of the storm and never get a response back. Horrible customer service.

My big Brother passed, had to come from Maine every month for the last 6 months. Reasonably priced, well kept, staff wonderful. Restaurant on site, wonderful, also free breakfast, close to downtown & beaches. Dolphin comes occasionally to entertain. The restaurant has live music in season. Pool on property, small beach, family of ducks, etc. Great place!

I was there for a weekend long baseball tournament and stayed with just my 10 year old son. It's older, not renovated. There was blood on my "clean" washcloth hanging up. The elevator broke the second day there, and I had a wagon and cooler on the third floor. One of the other parents staying there was walking down the stairs and the handrail broke off the wall, causing him to fall down the stairs. The microwave was in the closet. The breakfast was good, the AC was cold, the room itself was spacious, and the pool was nice. However one of the ladders in the deep end of the pool were broken as well.

All good the service was great checking in & out was a breeze rooms are a little out dated but kept in good conditions & clean beds are nice & comfortable continental breakfast was good omelette bacon sausage scrambled eggs waffles nice view only 1 complaint a little noisy cause of the highway but still no complaints will stay again

It was right on the water and the bridge lit up beautiful at night

The room was disgusting with dirty windows, room smelled bad and damp, sheets dirty with black dots possibly bed bugs, bathroom with hair and dirty toilet. We had to fight for another room and even the 2nd room was old and smelled.

The second night I arrived at around 10PM. TV still could not get it to work. The Room had not been cleaned. When I checked out I asked about the room and was told then that I would have to request it and signed a paper. Was not told this at check in. I requested a room wasy to get to because of having knee surgery and they gave me a room on the ground floor. But there wasn't a parking place at the door. Made ut hard to get to the room late at night.

The property is old and needs updates. The only nice thing is the location and the view if you get a water view room

Property is old and dingy. I felt completely unsafe , door was old and had an old chain hinge. Bathroom window facing outer walkway was an old glass crank window with a shade over it. Barely slept

I was very upset at the fire alarm at 6 am

You need to be on the 4th floor or higher for a good view otherwise you end up looking at the roof of the restaurant

This hotel is just old and tired. It's showing wear and tear in a big way. The view is spectacular and the lady at the desk was very nice, but the hotel needs a refresh. , They offer a breakfast on site, but we opted for the IHOP in the parking lot and got an early start to our next destination. Would not stay there again.

Very nice pool area and the pool was actually big enough to get in some laps. Room was a little dated but nice compared to some others I’ve seen on my trip. Staff seemed very nice and helpful.

This is an excellent place with a great on site restaurant with a nice waterfront view. Lots of good eating places within waking distance.

Loved the view and the room was very clean. Overall wasn’t bad considering it’s an older hotel.

The girl at the front desk is so nice I forgot her name, but her complexion is stunning. And she is always working the night shift. She is accommodating, and helpful every time I save stayed here. The rooms do need to be updated and are clean. I have experienced once where there was hair left behind in my shower. But besides that, it's a decent place to rest after traveling.

Nice and clean with great service

Not very quiet…can hear a lot from other rooms. Ceilings in bathrooms very low. Did not have extra blankets in rooms only a thin cover over sheets. Other travelers with us did not get the room types promised in their reservations

The views are great but the hotel needs to be renovated, it’s so old! Th bathroom features are so old that makes it look ugly despite been clean and spacious. The carpet has to go!!! Invest in the hotel, it’ll be worth it.

Always a pleasant stay at the Best Western in Fort Myers. Nice onsite restaurant and bar as well as a great pool.

I did not like that the lobby was separate from the hotel. Also the elevator was outside the building in the walkway so anybody could access the elevator and go to the rooms without being seen by any staff member.

The hotel overlooks the restaurant below, but no matter what room you move to the noise is too loud. The pool, the view and the breakfast were good. The elevator didn't work for a while and being on the 5th floor made it difficult.

Older motel, but room was nice size and clean. Great view as long as your room is not facing back of restaurant. Restaurant food was good.

Loved the location and view with a great breakfast on the water!! Comfy pillows and bed. Doors and Lino floors in bathroom need elbow grease and thorough wiping. Areas of the room smelled like weed. Faucet in bathtub needed fixing and someone was in to do that but then it broke again. Bathroom sink gave hot water but not the tub.

Happy with our stay, room was clean and had a nice view of the water. Staff was all very helpful and friendly, food at the restaurant was really good also!

They were busy but took over an hour for room to be ready. Another couple got tired of waiting and canceled then left. Hair dryer did work and didn’t get another even after talking to front desk

Breakfast was awesome! Scrambled eggs with cheese and hash browns, oranges, waffles, cereal, juices, teas and lots more.

Toilet not working

The morning was woken by the restaurant staff perpairing the breakfast very noisy by our room. very!!

Room was large, but beds were hard. Lots of noise from cars racing up the bridge which was right next to my room. Next door guest woke me up at 3am with singing that lasted until I check out at 630am cause I couldn't take it anymore.My family went to get breakfast and left empty-handed since their was no one to attend to them in restaurant. Wish it could have been better

Very out dated hotel.

There is no coffee machine in the room so you can’t make coffee in the morning. You have to walk outside to get to the main office to get a cup of coffee. If you don’t have your breakfast voucher with you, the jar of creamer was empty and the coffee was terrible

Pros- 1. on the 6th floor the view is pretty good if you don't look down at the roof of the restaurant below you. 2. The ac gets cold Cons- 1. There's a window that never shuts from the bathroom to outside, letting bugs in and sounds like you left the door open all noght long 2. was told after I thought they skipped my room service that they don't do it EVERY night so I asked about tomorrow night and she acted like they wouldn't come either??? For a $220 a night room? 3. The shower barley showers, such low water pressure could hardly get warm even tho the water does get very hot. Overall- if youre absolutely broke and NEED to see the water front, its not a deal breaker, I just really got nasty cigarette motel vibes from this place and will spend $209 a night on the Drury inn (fantastic high quality hotel) off the water

Nice hotel breakfast not great and no one came to clean

Old warn out hotel scary neighborhood at night, 2:30 in the morning. People are arguing yelling outside. I don't know if they're drunk or what, outside hallways are dirty. Restaurant is dirty old, worn out place.

Didn’t stay there one night

Requested housekeeping after two days none done. Power went out in my room and i had to request service. Loud old refrigerator kept me up all night.

The room was a little small and the water pressure was terrible. The amazing view of the Caloosahatchee from the balcony made up for everything!!

They are working on cleaning up the area. But the view is amazing from the waterfront rooms. Staff is super friendly and willing to help in anyway.

The hotel is located in a very nice location with most rooms facing out over the river. The pool also faces the water. Property rooms could use a major update.

We only stayed one night and the hotel was very quiet, clean and good service!

My husband and I went away for a night just to get away. Check-in was friendly and fast. The restaurant on the property was very good and service was great. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good as well. It consisted of cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal. We will definitely return if we need a place to stay.
