Allure Suites

Loved the suite! The space was perfect and comfortable. The staff was super nice as well. The building is old and there are areas where the carpet was stained and the walls were worn, but that did not distract from the room and overall experience. And the price is awesome. I will definitely return.

One terrible thing, the rugs in first foor are soiled and dirty with visible marks, the furniture and hotel is outdated. This should be taken into account by Expedia.

Many cosmetic needs such as souled and holes in carpets and paint and well used furniture. Room quiet and provided all I needed. However the third floor carpeting in the hallway smelled of cat pee throughout my five day stay. The staff were all super nice and helpful.

Like an older building that needed a facelift. Carpets were badly stained. Makes you think they aren’t clean. Carpet in room was poorly installed & made for a tripping hazard. Dirty, unwashed cups in cabinet. No glasses.

There were 3 cars in the lot. Not many lights on. Looked like it was closed. A van with 3 men in it in the lot. Another drove up. They exchanged something and the car left. ????we didn’t even check in. You should not list this property on your sight. HORRIBLE

The room was dated and there were some staining on the carpets and we did see one bug while we were there. One of the bed frames was broken when we arrived but maintenance came out and fixed it very quickly. Overall it was a great value. The hot tub wasn't working and the hot water took about 10 minutes to heat up for showers every time we used it. It did get hot though, just took it awhile to get there.

Jacuzzi was closed by the health department. Rusty fridge. Stain carpet in the hallway on floor one, no Jim as advertised. Two in one Shampoo had no foam.

Beds are super hard that side sleeper like me could not sleep. I regret that I book it. After two nights there, I learned that I can’t be too cheap when traveling

Room was not well appointed. TVs were very old and Wi-Fi was terrible. We couldn’t get towels or trash service even after it was requested. We did finally receive towels. The hotel carpets and furnishings were not great or very clean. The person that checked us in was very helpful and really tried to make sure we had the right room.

I made reservations for this hotel March 20-21. I reserved a room with a pull out bed so I could sleep my son. When arriving the room. Had two single sitting chairs and a queen bed, no pull out sofa. The manager tried to find us another room but she couldn’t so we checked out, didn’t stay even 30 mins, all we did was lay our son on top of the bed and we had our McDonald’s bag we didn’t even have luggage. Now there’s an issue getting a refund. They are saying there was a sofa bed there and the room was used. They are lying!! They will clearly be able to see us leaving on camera and not retuning. The hotel was very outdated which was ok we just needed somewhere to sleep but this has turned into a nightmare. I had to drive back home 3 hours because this hotel couldn’t accommodate us and they are not willing to refund and they are denying their part

The place looks nothing like the photos in Expedia. EVERYTHING is outdated, run down, or not operational. The hot tub had a sign saying it was shut down by the health department (not kidding). The beds were old and uncomfortably flat and lumpy. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, and the painted surfaces are cracked or need repainting. There were giant stains on the hallway carpeting on several floors. The outside windows had green mildew on them. The kitchen had supplies, but no eating utensils. We got 2 towels and zero housekeeping during our stay. I could go on, but isn't that enough to NOT include them in any vacation package or hotel rental (except the lowest category, which I wouldn't even want to offer)? I don't think I'll ever consider an Expedia vacation package because it was a terrible property and experience.

Refridgerator buzzed all night, carpets and floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed for weeks and never shampooed.

Staff was amazing, the size of the suite and the location Dead and live roaches in our rooms, advised staff and they said they'd spray- unsure if they ever did because we still saw more after the morning they told us they would be spraying. Extremely outdated and broken/torn everything- beds, blankets, appliances, rugs, chairs literally everything, it felt so dirty. Kept our belongings in the car in fear of bring roaches or bed bugs back to our home. We couldn't buy food to cook/eat in our suite like we planned on doing, and a huge part of why we chose this hotel was to save money on eating out by having a kitchen but EW, absolutely we were not about to put our food in there or use their unsanitary kitchen and appliances. We stayed away form the hotel as long as possible during the day trying to ONLY sleep there... We did give it a fun nickname though- HOTEL TOWER OF TERRORS

This was an awful place to stay. Fitness center was non existent and closed but was listed as an amenity. The room was dated, old and dirty. The remote to the tv was sticky. There was mold on the shower curtain and the tvs did not work. The carpeting throughout the building was stained. I would NOT stay at this facility.

I love the allure suites and every time I am visiting the fort Myers area I will be staying with you all.

Great staff, location, room size, and quietness basic cable-too many commercials, need to clean the carpet on 3rd floor, and building could use an outside paint job and window cleaning.

The lobby needs an update but the rooms with a full kitchen were nice. Great location. 12 minutes to Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island. 2 minute walk to Public’s. Pool was just OK.

Kind enough staff, but in serious need of maintenance. Horrible pillows, towels. I guess you get what you pay for.

Location was the only okay thing with this hotel. This will be a long read but all comments are necessary. From the lobby to the rooms it is sparse, uninviting and feels just downright dirty. All decor was dated with dirty everywhere as well. When the elevator doors opened to the floor where our room was, we immediately felt as if we were stepping into a crime scene. The smell was downright awful. The carpet all the way to our door had massive stains and there was a heavy bad odor and dampness to the air. We hoped for better in the room we were given, but that too was pretty awful. Thankfully there were no obvious stains on the carpet but it did have a pattern that would hide it if there was. The desk/table had a sag in the middle of it and the one fabric seat provided was stained and smelled. The love seat smelled a bit as well. The kitchenette area had worn corners and edges to the cabinet fronts and it was unfinished at the toe kick on both sides of the dishwasher. We could handle the wornness if all the other things were not so gross. There was no clean surface in the room at all even though there were smear marks that looked as if a wet cleaner had been used but not checked after it dried. Most every food or drink mark came off when I used Lysol wipes. There were only vertical blinds in each room and they were both broken and missing pieces. So much so that there was an open gap at the end of both. The one in the living area would not open at all. There were 2 very very old tvs and neither had clear sound. Or a decent picture. They were both staticky and garbled. The toilet and shower seemed to be a little bit cleaner than the rest of the rooms, but I still felt the need to go over everything with Lysol wipes before touching or using. This was not an inexpensive hotel and absolutely not worth what we paid for. I will add that from the outside of the building we could see rooms on the second floor that had curtains and blinds and decor on some walls we could see.

This place is a dump. Stained carpeting in the hallways worn out. Furniture worn-out, hotel rooms have zero amenities not even a full roll of toilet paper. The tube tv was junk, staticky, I don't know how this place gets away with it but it's a total rat hole.

However, they ran out of toilet paper; had no dish soap for dishwashers or to hand wash dishes. In fact, have a note posted that their dishes are not sanitized. The third floor smells like urine, (pet floor) as does the entire stairwell. Thankfully they were able to move me to 5th floor. A huge improvement from 3rd floor. Apparently, the new management is working on improvements (kudos!) Price should be lowered until more is updated. Looked like they started w/2nd floor.

It's an old hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep and don't want to spend too much. The bathrooms were very clean, but the kitchen and beds need replacing; the mattresses aren't comfortable.

In a city with so many options Allure is wayyyyyyyy behind in so many things. I choose it because it was close to where we were having an event. As I said basically a 1.5 star hotel priced to high.

Location was easy to find and accessible. From the pictures I knew it wouldn't be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in but it was far worse than I expected. The rooms felt dilapidated and in dire need of a remodel. The kitchen cabinets faces were coming off. The fridge made a loud noise from the fan/motor. The carpets had stains all over them. Cracks in the tiles. Mold all over the windows (luckily it was outside), but I was concerned that the AC probably had mold inside of it too considering it is right under the window. One of the AC's didn't work well, made some awful noises and emitted a smell. The mattresses and box spring weren't fresh and new for sure. The mattress was smaller than the box springs so you could see how dirty the top of the box spring was. I grabbed what I thought was a spider in the bathtub but turns out it was one of those small pokey goat heads. We reluctantly stayed because it was evening and I didn't want to pack my family up and chance no openings at a nicer hotel. The pits and pans were under the sink next to the plumbing which was a weird and fairly dirty spot to put cookware. I was prepared for an older place but not what we walked into. I've spent less per night on nicer 2 bedroom hotels. Very disappointed.

This hotel was mediocre, it is an older motel.

Very slow to get an extra pillow or to get a towel for pool. Towels were tiny. The hallways had a very mildow smell, many huge stains, wallpaper was peeling down, cracks in floor in bathroom. Kitchen had very limited utencils and cups/glasses, even for just 2 people. I booked this place due to "hot tub" which was out of order and when i asked when it would be repairs, it was a long term thing (permits needed) so you should not advertise a hot tub or include in pictures. pool longers were damaged. Coffee in lobby was very cold/stale. i would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.

The part of the room where I sleep was clean although the entire room needs a face lift. It's very run down. Fridge in the kitchen is stained as is the carpet and walls around the floor. The floor itswlf was hot and muggy. The lobby had maintenance issues with the doors and the room was only reasy after 5pm. The staff was nice.

It is a gem of Fort Myers Florida. A little older but very comfortable, best place we've stayed. They are kind and thoughtful, they think of you as their customers! Enjoy your stay!

Our room was clean, large and nicely furnished and had a full sized refrigerator/freezer. My wife is handicapped and she had no problems moving around. One thing we missed is not having ice machines and some type of breakfast. But everything else was excellant and for the price you can't beet it.

The rooms need upgrading the hallways and carpets were stained and terrible. This is the second hotel that I booked on Expedia for this past trip that the conditions shown on your advertisement is nothing like the condition when you get there no wonder you sell so many room rooms.

The hall carpet showed the age and wear/stains. There weren't any hand towels but the desk staff did say if we need anything to just ask. We did not since we were only there one night.

I will say the staff was pleasant and helpful and the issues I have is beyond the front desk control. The room, the floor was sticky and our feet were black from walking on it. The toilets didn't flush, the staff had plungers ready and acknowledged the plumbing is known subpar. The refrigerator didn't work, nor one burner on the stove. The TVs were old outdated CRT with grainy picture quality. Everything in the room was outdated and worn. the cabinets were literally peeling the veneer and flaked off on the floor.Cigarette burns in the couches and chairs. Just a lot of little annoying things like no real coffee for the in room coffee maker (they said they were out of stock), no soap or shampoo (we had our own but still...) Overall the place looks dated and dingy, noisy elevators and on and on. Not what we experienced based on our stay last year. I will say, looking over the tattered bed spreads and rock hard beds, the bedding and linens were clean. I don't know what happened in a year's time but we'll never go back

The only thing it didn't have was a microwave-oh, and the toaster should be replaced. Other than that everything was fine. The staff were cordial and helpful.

The staff is so very friendly. Super nice greetings and personable. The room was extremely clean. The hotel is older. It’s still the 1980s for furnishings but if you are not there much it was a great value for the area. It could use some updating for sure… but we have no complaints

Hotel needs many repairs. Dishwasher didn’t work. Hair dryer didn’t work. The air conditioner/heater did not work in the living room. Lamp was broke. Luggage carriers broke. Lighting was poor. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures and when we arrived we where treated with police men in the lobby trying to fix a problem with one of the people that where staying there and over all just made it feel in safe

Well…it was clean, it was quiet….but there was no hand soap anywhere-no bar soap-no pump soap. So i asked for 1 at the front desk &told they ran out- so sorry! Really- its a freakin’ hotel- how is this possible-this truly amazes me ….my next trip will be elsewhere

The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was very nice and spacious. However it was loud when someone was above you walking in their room. A few roaches came out in the bathroom the last day we were there.

The room was ok. Our bed did not have a top sheet or blankets. Only the comforter. The bathroom did not have any hand towels. We had wash clothes to use. I went to service desk to ask for hand towels, lady told me they didn’t have any. Would not recommend.

Dishwasher note working, I don't think a Dishwasher is necessary anyway. Room not very clean it's an old building I wasn't expecting it to be spotless. The staff was absolutely the best kind welcoming and attentive. I would definitely stay there again in the future. Thank you

The main advantage was its lication, convenient to all areas of Cape Coral and Ft Myers. This was more likecstaying in an AirB&B. Services non-existent.. we stayed 6 nights, no housekeeping, had to ask for towels, purchased our own soap, TP and shampoo at nearby Publix. Night Attendant , Renata, was very nice and helpful in finding some special size coffee packets for in room coffee machine. I rated it Good for the price, we had an excellent rate, and would return... only next time i will be prepared as it does not offer routine services of hotel.

Very clean and comfortable suite. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I actually extended my stay bc I felt so at home. It may be a little worn in some ways but I didn’t mind bc everything was spotless and whatever they spray on their linens smells fantastic!

Roaches. The hot tub has been down for quite a while. Carpets dirty. Extreme rules. If you invite someone over they have to turn their ID in the whole time they are onsite. Lots of parking wide open lot seems like no one really ever stays here.

The place is still mid century and the hotel is hot as if the AC stopped working except for the rooms.

Property was clean, doesn’t look the greatest from outside. Hot tub doesn’t work which is why I booked this hotel. You’re only allowed to have guests over if they turn in their ID the entire time they’re on the property. There’s no privacy. I didn’t even want to walk outside because they were so in my business every time I came back. It was just very uncomfortable.

We will never stay at this hotel again and advise anyone thinking of doing so to check out the photos we took. The hotel stank as soon as you walked in, the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain when you brushed your teeth, they had box tv’s, the refrigerator and cabinets were broken and disgusting and the inside lock to the door was completely broken. Again, please see photos. We left early. This was a huge waste of money.

We've visited this property several times and always enjoyed ourselves. It is an older property but it has always been clean and had a very nice pool area. This time was different. The pool was closed the entire time. Now it was 99 degrees out, and the only reason to go to FL in the summer is to float in the pool, so having the pool out of service the entire time was a major issue to the extent that it ruined our week-long stay. Further, it appeared that it was simply not being tended, perhaps due to low occupancy. We were also supposed to have had our rooms serviced every 3rd day, and on day 5 we had to ask for it, as no one had brought us fresh linens or taken out the trash. The room itself had issues: a rusty fridge. Seriously, throw a coat of paint on it. Though the staff were and have always been very nice, we don't plan to return due to the issue with the pool and general maintenance. Unfortunate, as we were previously fans and often recommended it to others.

Bed was uncomfortable the pool was out of order holes in the couch burn marks in the bathroom this hotel look like it has never been update since 1960 the staff was very friendly that was the only good part of my stay

This is just over the bridge from South Cape and very affordable. These hotel rooms are like apartments and work well for expended stays. There is a Publix, gas station, and restaurants within walking distance. Management is easy going and well spoken. Ask for an updated room. Easy access to Cape, FMB, Sanibel.

I Love Staying here. only thing that sucks & they need to fix, is their INTERNET!! It’s slow & 95% of the time it doesn’t connect. That’s the only issue. Other than that, it’s awesome

Overall, had a good experience here. It was definitely worth the price and the staff were very friendly. The only downside is that the furniture has stains along with some of the towels and the property is pretty old. If the rooms get remodeled it would be a great hotel.

Honestly only reason we didn’t leave was the beautiful, very helpful front desk lady was amazing!

I was truly impressed with the quality of the deluxe suite. Perfect for an affordable option if traveling with kids or friends. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite also had a full living room and kitchen with dinner table. Book it! Totally worth it!

I stayed in a suite that felt a bit like a 1990's time capsule. The unit was clean and the furniture/kitchen appliances were all functional and in good condition but the style reminded me of the 90's, which was a fun decade. I'm not writing this to complain. I actually enjoyed the nuance of having not one but two tube television sets that both worked as if they were new. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment and a movie theater. I enjoyed a relaxing weekend there and would gladly return. I don't think it can be beat for the price.

A Very run-down and tired property that is held up purely by the will of the Staff running it. Desperately in need of refurbishment, but with the potential to be great if that is done right. The Room itself was a throw back to the previous century with CRT TVs, very dated furniture and dishevelled kitchen units. However, the space, a two bed apratment with small sitting area and kitchen, was big enough that you could have an extended stay here without too much discomfort

The only good thing I’d have to say about this hotel is the location for the price. You are close to Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island so if you have a car, it’s a pretty ideal location however I would not recommend this place. If you wanna feel like you’re staying in a place that feels clean the first day we get there it looks like the walls are crumbling around the hotel, the hotel room itself is a nice size. However, it has a very strange stale smell to it that will not get rid of. We swim in the pool for three days which happened to be nice and I go out to go to the pool the fourth day and there is a warning that the health department of Florida had closed it. It was only a small little sign by the pool. The hotel had not said anything. There was no signs making it more notice that it was closed. When I asked the front desk what it had happened she was like it’s just closed. However, it said it was for safety reasons meaning I don’t think it was cleaned at all because it did not have a smell of Clorine. We only got room service once., She took all of our towels because they only give you two and gave us a bathmat size towels, and I didn’t even feel like saying anything because it’s so hard to find a cleaner. The tiles were crumbling in the kitchen.

The staff was accomodating and friendly. First room was very noisy and the sink was leaking badly. Second room the toilet didn't flush on the first. It was repaired. The furniture had holes in it and the appliances were old and rusted. The bedding also was old and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The location was convenient. I would give it 2 stars.

Old carpets, kitchen cupboards falling off, fridge doors covered in rust spots. Filthy moldy windows on the outside. Everything was tires. Leaking all over the floor water from who knows where. Greasy dishes put away. The room wasn’t even cleaned properly. The front desk was amazing though. You can’t polish a terd with this hotel. But they hired some great friendly front door staff. Pool was green. Wanted to stay there to cool for my kids and to swim. Drawer handles hanging off of dressers, embedded dirt on the floors. 70’s decor.

Older bldn, but clean for the most part, nice and convenient exstended stay hidden at the corners of two major blvds. Staff friendly and helpful, hot tub and pool was open daily. Rentervations going on so I will be considering staying again.

Pool out of service all three days, carpets on 4th floor dirty, trash cans missing lids, no food except for expensive vending, no early check in, always out of coffee, need to drive a bit to get to anything worthwhile.

This was the perfect place for what we needed this weekend. A no frills kind of hotel that served it's purpose. The suite was nice having the little kuchen, seating area and separate bedroom. The hotel needs to be updated or at least given a facelift, otherwise it was fine. The price was right too!

The pool didn’t work. The hot tub broke the tvs were circa 1980. The wifi was slower than a turtle. It was a very dated hotel it doesn’t look like they invested any money in it for quite a few years.

The property is centrally located, minutes from Cape Coral, perhaps 35 min from both Ft Myers and Ft Myers beach. The room's are suites with a sitting area and kitchenette. I was told the room was cleaned every three days, although new towels, etc were brought in I do not believe bed linens were changed. The hotel is by a parkway but there was no problem with noise. I recommended the property to an associate who is heading to Ft Myers beach as ideal to stay. There are no ice machines, ice in a bag, no cost, is available from the front desk.

The air conditioner in the bedroom didn’t work, the telephone didn’t work, they didn’t have an iron but an ironing board and iron holder, furniture had water spots, very old and needs cleaning. Towels are very worn and little.

Got to the room opened the door turned on the lights and the first thing we see was a cockroach running. The small kitchen was rusty knobs missing from the oven. We went into the bedroom and lifted the mattress only to find a few mor bugs. We packed up went right back down and canceled the room and found another hotel. So far I still haven’t received a refund

Overall, the location and accommodation were adequate for our needs. If the facility were to be updated, I would consider staying again.

Front Desk was friendly only complaint is pool does close at sun down about 6:30pm but this property was worth the cheap price

Yes the property is a bit dated but look beyond the decor and you have a well-priced, clean and comfortable stay. The a/c units were new and provided a comfortable environment. The front desk staff were always friendly and it was conveniently located to the shops (Walmart) and a couple of good local bars. I’m glad we looked beyond the star rating online.

Cons: VERY old / outdated property. There are stains on the gray carpets in the hallways. Overall: This place served its purpose! We only slept here and then spent our days out on the beach. It wouldn’t have been a relaxing hotel to just lounge around. They have very affordable two-bedroom suite options that sleep 6 people and have a kitchen. I likely would not choose to stay here again, but it’s okay.

The room wasnt clean. I asked to change rooms because of the conditions, and they said there was no other rooms available for the one I booked. Walls were dirty, shower in bathroom was dirty. Air system in room was a portable air condition. Just was not happy at all with this stay.

we stayed for 1 week, no other option, Price good Very old but everything was clean, Bed was new-er, sheets clean, fridge, MW clean inside, bathroom clean, looked under sheets, hidden parts of the bed, no bed bugs, We had a good sleep, didn't use the cooking other than we kept everything in the fridge, just in case of some bugs. Soldier conditions, clean, sleepable, though I was with my son, don't bring wife here unless she served in the army.

Don't judge a book by its cover is the theme of this place. It is a very super old hotel. However you can see the heart and soul that they really care about everyone staying there. And you can see there in the middle of renovations doing room by room! I did have problems with the furniture being super old and they're being several stains on the couches and chairs. However the front desk made sure to make us as comfortable as possible and brought us covers and covered up the furniture. VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW, the reason we stayed even seeing the stains was the fact that the bed sheets were perfectly clean there was in a single stain on the bed sheets or the pillows no loose hairs the refrigerator was spotless and the bathroom was spotless!! You can see that who they have cleaning it now is really doing amazing job! I was very impressed. My biggest complaint is the stains and they do not have an option to go swimming or have the hot tub after 6:00 p.m. because they do not have lights outside.

I greatly enjoyed my stay with Allure Suites in Fort Myers - this hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures - very clean, very friendly - I will be returning back to Allure Suites when I have my future business trips.
