Room 109 was comfortable and the staff was pleasant enough The floors are dirty

Room 107 beds were not very comfortable and the floor was so dirty they made my feet visibly dirty. I had to leave early due to an emergency and the staff said they would waive the fees and refund for the night I didn’t use but then once asked they would not refund - disappointed for being told I’d be refunded and then wouldn’t in the end.

My reason for leaving only 4 stars is as follows: If staying in a studio, recommend selecting King bed size because the queen rooms appear to have a damp smell to them which was a downfall. It seems those rooms don’t get as much ventilation. Even our clothes smelled like the room when we returned home. The beds also weren’t very comfortable but it could be me being picky and/or just getting older and preferring different accommodations. Sheets were a little rough and mattress didn’t have much support.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, though with the limited lobby hours I did not interact much with them during my stay but they helped me get set up for my late arrival and addressed the concerns I had about some questionable communication I received. I would recommend this property to friends and would stay again myself.

Liked the grounds and the outdoor area quite a bit. Rooms were clean, well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Bathrooms and window dressings had some wear to them. Location was convenient to anything that one would need.

The communicating by text was helpful and answered my questions prior to arrival. We got there much later than expected and allowed us an extra hour for check out. Great place! The staff were absolutely amazing. The heated pool was a nice touch, the rooms were great, a lot of facilities. Great location.

Close proximity to the beach and local shopping mall, all of which is walkable. Staff were really friendly and helpful, complimentary coffee and a smooth late check in procedure will look to stay again in the future.

Old style South Florida hotel. Great without carpets. All was good. The jalousie windows were all glued shut and covered by window glass plat that could not be opened. I don’t like air conditioning and this inability to open windows really bothers me.

The motel is right out of the 60s and captures all the charm of a Wonder Years beach bungalow with impeccable upkeep on the property. You enter the rooms from the outside so I consider it a motel. I feel the price was about $100 too high. For $300 a night I feel like bottled water should also have been included in the room. You could buy water in the lobby for $2 a bottle. There was nothing structural I did not like about the property. It’s in a great walkable location to food and coffee and the staff members were friendly.

The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I’m a light sleeper, so I especially appreciated the large bed and overall quiet environment. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and didn’t get a chance to use the pool or other amenities, so I can’t comment on those. The location is very convenient, close to the beach, Las Olas Boulevard, and shopping areas. Everything was exactly as described, and I would definitely stay here again.

Interesting place. Seems to be in revival though. I hope it does well, However, the parking is on street only (not fond of that at all), the restaurant was closed (and seems permanently so), a lot of street noises filters in, and the pool area closes at the rather nebulous time of “dusk.” Some loud repairs going on in the room next door one day. But the pool area, even with the odd hours, was lovely, as was the covered patio on the other side. Staff was terrific.

The problems started on the second day, none of our key cards for the room were working, called the out of hours number as reception is only open 0900-1800. Retrieved a spare card from the lock box, this also did not work. Phoned the out of hours number again, struggled to get the point across that none of the cards were working. An employee then attended the hotel, and could only open the room with the master key. The only option was to then change rooms, not very helpful when you are checking out in the morning, expressed how inconvenient it was, the member of staff was less than sympathetic stating he did not work there. This whole process took over two hours, we had come back to the hotel to change for dinner, and was very late by this point. At check out the following day, we asked for some kind of compensation due to the inconvenience, we were told the manager was not in and they would contact us. We followed up with a message, two weeks later we have had no response. Poor service, dilapidated operation and unsympathetic staff, would not recommend.

This hotel could be so cute but is very run down. Needs a renovation badly. No restaurant on site. Only thing available onsite was coffee, and it was empty most of the time.

The location is convenient for its walkability to stores and restaurants. The boutique size of the hotel is appealing. There is no elevator to easily transport heavy luggage to second floor.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable.The pool area was well maintained. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! A lot of places to eat within walking distance. We had such a wonderful relaxing time. Gonna be our go-to hotel for future FTL vacations.

Great location, especially for seeing an event at War Memorial. Adjacent to a really nice neighborhood for walking, nice to be off a busy street and away from the really tall buildings and scene but close enough to them to visit. Felt safe. The beds are a bit lumpy, the pillows quite lumpy, and the blanket really thin (and not thicker one; I asked). Also I couldn't figure out the hot water because it needed to be in the middle between hot and cold (no big deal that it was hooked up strangely, but a sign would help).

Victoria Park Hotel is always an amazing stay. I always enjoy the boutique quality of this hotel. I return yearly because of my wonderful experiences!

This place is an unexpected gem! Check in was super friendly and welcoming. I was even shown to my room! THe room was generous in size with a pull out and a kitchenette - clean with very comfortable beds. All rooms look onto a charming courtyard with a pool, flowers, and fauna. It was like stepping back into a time capsule! We loved it - every aspect of it was excellent. If we return to Ft. Lauderdale I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else but here! If you're staying in town for a cruise (we were) it's an easy 20 min UBER ride. It's in a very quiet, safe location.Don't hesitate to stay here! We LOVED everything!

without staff at the counter after 6 pm be sure you know how to enter property and use of gate codes. gaining access with a gate code was not well explained, just numbers given but you have to use the * key and the paddlock keys before the number will work. also room key stopped working after initial use and not sure what would have done for entry if we hadn't had 2 keys as no way to reactivate afer 6 pm

Nice clean room, nice clean pool and spa. A little tricky checking in for late check in but doable and also some loud partiers staying in hotel for spring break but otherwise good place. I would stay again.

Nice off the beaten path hotel. Stephanie at the reception desk was excellent and extremely helpful. Room was clean and spacious and had a kitchenette with plates, glasses, wine glasses… the works! Great stay!

Stephanie and Marty were great hosts! Stephanie upgraded us to a king studio on check in and we were very happy with the room. Everything was impeccably clean and well cared for. The location is excellent with shops, restaurants and the beach are nearby.

The property was clean and safe. The staff was AMAZING, so sweet. The only issue we had was that the room was HOT. The AC (portable - hanging in the kitchen) didnt seem to ever change temps no matter what we did. The bed was also very hard and old. We would stay again though based on location and the staff, we would just have to bring a fan.

There was also no staff at reception after 6 PM, which made it difficult if assistance was needed. Given the high price we paid, it felt 2 stars (not 3), the overall level of the hotel was disappointing. That said, the receptionist we interacted with was very kind and helpful, and we truly appreciated her attitude.

Room was clean, large, with a mini-kitchen. Front-desk people were very helpful and welcoming. Location was further away from major tourist areas but this also meant it was quieter. A handful of dining options within a 3 minute walk, but note there's not really any breakfast options close by.

Absolutely lovely! My partner travels for work and we usually stay at a chain hotel. We decided to give an independent hotel a try and it could not have been better. The Victoria Park is now our “go to” hotel in FLL. We had a spacious king bed room with a deep tub, shower and a kitchenette. It was perfect for mixing our own cocktails and sitting in the hot tub or lounging by the pool. The hotel grounds and room were immaculate. The hotel is also within walking distance of many restaurants. We highly recommend El Tamarindo which was suggested by Billy (front desk). Delicious !!!!

Property definitely had that old Florida feeling, it’s been lovingly kept up and our room was spotless and comfortable. Eating area and pool were very nice, front desk staff was helpful. Walk through nice river area residential neighborhood to Los Olas blvd, only 30 minutes. 20 minutes walk to beach, a few stores, mall, and eateries nearby. My only complaint was that my bed was quite sinky, would not have been suitable for two.

The 2 detractions from this property are the slow/dropped internet and certain frayed things like the area rug. Makes it look scruffy. What we enjoyed is how CLEAN and quiet it was, the location, comfortable bed and Stephanie and Carlos are excellent hosts. Parking was easy on street.

Midcentury modernish motel with lovely staff and charming courtyard with nice heated pool and hottub. Our ground floor room with open patio area by the pool had a small, equipped kitchen, dressing area and large open room with couch, dining table, large TV and comfy king size bed. Will stay again.

The amenities of the property were poor or absent at best. After checking in, I noticed a hot tub. I asked how to turn on the heat. They said that the heater went out. Later I went to get some ice, and the large ice maker had a sign that it was out of service. We needed to get into the car to go and buy ice.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Park Hotel. This boutique hotel is in a great area. Walkable or a short drive to many restaurants and the Galleria Shopping Mall. A hotel without parking. You have to find a spot on the street and hope it's legal and you don't get towed. It's been over 15 years since I had to parallel park. Thank God I remembered how.

The manager Billy makes this older property a gem. He is caring and wants to make sure every guest is comfortable. He goes out of his way for everyone. I can understand why he has repeat guests.

We had a good stay, the man at the check in was very helpful and we could get the room early. We had a good night sleep and had supper in the mall within 10 min. Walk.

Do not stay here. Check-in time is 3pm...and the Lobby closes at 6pm. If you do not arrive in the 3 hour window...good luck getting into your riom.

Front desk check in is family friendly. They make you feel like it’s a family retreat. Clean beyond clean. Beautiful tropical pool area. For sure to visit again

The check in process was awesome. Very laid back staff, room's are huge, neighborhood is amazing, and a very quick shot over to Los Olas Blvd and downtown. Can't recommend this enough considering its half the price of the big name hotels in the area! Must stay.

Very cute property! Rooms were extra large and very comfortable. Property was clean and staff was very nice! It was a walkable area to restaurants etc! I would stay here again if in this area!

This hotel has an old time charm about it. It’s older and tucked into a neighborhood.

I loved my stay at Victoria Park Hotel. The property and pool were well kept. My room was super clean and the AC was freezing! (In the best way!) The location was great, close walking distance to shops and restaurants and only about 8-10 minutes from downtown if driving, and only about a 10 minute drive to the beach! I highly recommend this hotel and I plan to stay here again.

Love Victoria Park Hotel. Billy is fantastic and very accommodating. The pool is beautiful and peaceful.

The landscaping and pool area are the only highlights of this place. Negatives: the interior is just so-so. You'll find a much better room at a Hampton or Comfort Inn for less money. The A/C is ridiculously loud, and the TV is on a wall 90 degrees perpendicular to the bed. Sorry, I'm not going to swivel my neck 90 degrees to watch TV. Lastly, I didn't find the street parking to have a safe feel. I was worried about break-ins. For the money, I think there are much better choices in the area.

Amazing customer service from Billy. After having a delay in our flight, allowed us to stay and enjoy the patio until we left got the airport. clean, comfortable and very safe.

We have stayed here before several times. This time we were on the ground floor in a room next to the street. We heard a lot of traffic noise, the only complaint. Next time, we will make sure that we get a room in a different location.

Not worth the price I paid. This place is a motel not even a hotel. We booked it thinking that they serve breakfast. They could have notified people that they no longer serve breakfast. The guy behind the desk wasn't even nice. I would look the other way and don't even bother. It's a little outdated and some mold around the building. I would think twice booking at this motel.

We stayed 1 night prior to a cruise. Even though it is an older property we found it charming. It was in a great location in a quiet neighbourhood and the staff was warm and friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We really loved the old time family feel of this place. The staff was so friendly and the pool area was lovely. The Galleria Mall was only about a 12 minute walk away.

Hidden gem! It was the perfect spot to stay before cruising out. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurants were close amd delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Check in was easy. A lot of choices for dinner in walkable distance. Pool area is lovely and clean.

Victoria Park is a great place to stay! Staff are so nice, helpful and welcoming! Rooms are large, spacious, clean and comfortable! The hotel is walkable to shopping, restaurants etc! I would definitely stay there again!

On the plus side, the managing couple were communicative about the after hours check-in which went very smoothly.

Seems very well managed, Lovely little hideaway. It is not your modern everything included Hotel, it is a quaint old style enclosed family hideaway.

Location is close to beach, shopping and food. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Billy, at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful. It's not a luxurious place but I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was truly a great place to stay. We only stayed one night and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Everyone who works here was so nice and just sincerely pleasant. I will definitely be coming back again.

Spent an evening at the Victoria Park Hotel while we visited with our son. We didn't use a lot of the amenities, but they looked nice. Parking is street parking, but non metered. We were concerned we may have problems, but there were plenty of spaces. The room was renovated and excellent.

We only stayed 1 night before w flew home. It wasa great little hotel. Our room was very spacious. Its in nice little area and they have really made it a great comfortable space. Down the street is an exceptional italian restaurant and ice cream shop. It is family friendly all of the other guests seemed very happy. I would definitely stay here again but for longer. It would be a great home base one would take daytrips from.
