Overall one of the best stays we’ve ever had! It was the perfect relaxing oasis and the shuttle takes you anywhere in their radius which was perfect for happy hour! The restaurant in the hotel was DELICIOUS and the 3 heated pools were perfect. They also have games outside to play cornhole, ping pong, giant chess and jenga!! Would definitely stay there again. Also the beds were so comfy and the staff sweet and always cleaning! :) 12/10

Very clean and spacious room. I was under the impression that it was located on the shore. It is not very close to the beach.

The property was very clean and well kept. Complimentary water in fridge came in handy. I prefer spring water over purified. I dislike the glass shower wall, it was inconvenient having to reach inside the shower to start running water. The balcony view was great. Thank you to front desk Christina T, for great customer service. And great customer service from shuttle driver Monique.

We only stayed for a night some didn’t get to use the amenities. But the room was nice and the ground were Weill kept from what I could see at night. Staff were friendly. I would stay there again if in Ft. Lauderdale.

The room I got what was not pictured. I know it was suppose to be remolded, but the bathroom is not the pretty ones shown. But room remodel the bathroom clean and not bad but didn't look remodel.

Beautifully renovated. Me and my wife completely loved it and we truly recommend is safe, very clean and convenient.

The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent, but they charge extra to leave the car at the hotel overnight. I don't understand why.

The bed was comfortable. Didn’t like that the refrigerator made noise all night that sounded like warning, doves fighting, and the AC went off every couple of minutes despite me attempting to turn it off very bad sleeping plus my doors didn’t lock on the patio. It was so bad I checked out after the first day and I still haven’t received my refund for three days..

Bathroom shower was a little outdated and the ac didn’t really work the best and it leaked outside but other than that nice hotel and free hour of biking was fun, also the shuttle is great and hotel is 5-8 min walk to beach

Room was clean, staff was great from front desk, bartender to house keeping. Food was good. Just one tiny issue, the AC unit in our room was loud initially each time it would come on. But other than that I would recommend this hotel for a nice, quiet weekend get away.

The woman at the front desk was not friendly or inviting very cold and disengaged. The property itself is nice and clean and well maintained. The room was nice and clean and up to date but the the bathrooms need renovations. The shower stalled needs to be redone. Housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times after we already explained to them and the housekeeping supervisor that the front desk gave us extra time to leave room. Instead of communicating with front desk the housekeeping supervisor or manager kept arguing t with us and one point proceeded to push the door open while I was in my underwear. This unfirtunaye unprofessional situation left my husband and I feeling like we will never book here again.

The location was ideal, close to various beaches, restaurants and amenities which was perfect for a solo traveller. The Staff was very accommodating and friendly, especially front of house staff, and Mark the maintenance engineer. I experienced quite bad WiFi issues which was usually worse in the day!

Only one complaint is the male bartender on staff the Saturday my husband and I were at pool is very rude! Many other patrons in the pool area said the same thing. The rest of the staff was very polite and helpful.

WE NEEDED A PLACE TO STAY ON SHORT NOTICE. THE GRDEN WAS OUTSTANDING !! FROM THE STAFF, THE GENTLEMAN BEHIND THE BAR. THE MANAGER FROM THE RESTURANT. ALL WERE SUPPER GREAT. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND HAD ALL THE COMFORTS. STAYED IN SECTION 6. THE QUITE SECTON. AGAIN AWSOME. WE WILL BE BACK

One of the drawing points was the nearby Windixie grocery store but they were permanently closed. CVS was nearby Front desk lady on may 14 was not so friendly but informative. The manager (new from. Miami Beach) was very welcoming. Early check in is $20 There are 3 pools. One was exclusive to adults only. Pools were ok but throughout the day, the bugs were accumulating. Staff should check more often. The room was ok. Bathroom should be updated. Lobby bathroom is way furnished and clean. Room furnished with smart TV, fridge and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. Pillow was great Floors were dirty although cleaning lady mopped Restaurant was great. Candy was our favorite waiter. My daughter felt at home with. Joyce was a little slower but friendly. The outside/pool bar was nice. The female (sorry cant recall her name) was fast, friendly and informative. The male charged me $20 for a margaritas. He should have not assumed that id know its that expensive when the others were closer to half that price The have shuttle busses to local places but not to airport Overall good stay.

Great location and nice room! The air conditioning unit made an extremely loud noise every night. I had to use earplugs to sleep and still had several bad nights.

Cristina from the front desk was excelente, the bicycle rent and 1 hour free was excelente too, and Monique the lady to takes us from the hotel to the beach in the golf cars, excelente too. Remodeled hotel, very central close to CVS across the street.

A wonderful hotel — very clean, with an incredibly caring staff and service. The front desk team was warm, welcoming, attentive to guests’ needs, and very friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the restaurant at the hotel was outstanding, with high-quality food and cuisine. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the beach, but there is a free shuttle available at all times, which makes getting there very convenient. Other than that, I’m very grateful to the entire staff for such a wonderful stay and a beautifully spent time.

I wanted to stay at a hotel that took in pride in being clean and The Garden Hotel exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to book again in the future

The room itself was very nice and clean, although there were not enough towels provided for both me and my wife. The property was clean and had a fun entertainment section for anyone who enjoys games and activities. The pools were clean and looked very relaxing. I also enjoyed the bar area — the drinks were good and there was entertainment, which made the atmosphere enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend giving this hotel a try. One of the most convenient parts of the stay was having a CVS Pharmacy right across the street.

To make matters worse, the manager offered us a 15% discount for the inconvenience, but it never appeared on the final bill. On top of that, the breakfast prices were quite high for a very basic meal. Unfortunately, this experience really affected our overall impression of the hotel.

The 3 pools were beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff was incredible; especially Lizze at the outdoor bar, who made the experience even better with her amazing service and energy. I do wish beach access was included, but besides that, this was one of the best outdoor hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back

My stay here was perfect! Staff was friendly and nice, food at the restaurant was amazing and it’s walking distant from the beach which I loved. This will now be my go to whenever I’m in Fort Lauderdale!

The staff that check you in/out were so sweet and helpful. They were very quick to answer the phone if calling from your room and were happy to answer any and all of my questions. The shuttle they offer on property was a bonus for me because I didn’t realize it came with one when booking! The communication with the shuttle driver was also 10/10 and she always made sure to pick up/drop off at the time she scheduled and if she was there earlier she would just send a message. The hotel is centrally located to Las Olas and walking distance to the beach which is why I booked with them. The room I stayed in was recently updated, quite large, very clean, and comfortable. The only downside was that I had to put in a maintenance request upon check in since the outlet in the bathroom and door handle to the bathroom were not working but other than that everything was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Beware .. the pictures on the websites are misleading.. the “resort” is well located on the main road, it is 4 buildings lined next to one another .. each have their own exotic name and own small pool .. they have a restaurant on site .. the building we stayed in is the “adult only” .. last building of the “resort”.. I loved it because they were no screaming and yelling kids jumping in the pool and running around .. all the room are pool view.. that is were the good part stops.. there are no mobility accessible room in the adult only building .. seriously !!??? .. anyhow, the room was quite basic, bed and pillows mehhh.. ac was loud and cool which was perfect because it blocked all outside noise including that of the rooms next to you .. if you end up being next to load neighbors, like we did on our first night , you will be screwed.. the walls are paper thin and you will hear everything, from loud conversations to their TV and or music .. thank God they left the following day and we were able to enjoy some quietness .. will I come back ? NO!.. I thought I had booked a room in a resort , turns out it was just a regular hotel set up differently, but not the upscale resort as pictured on their website , regardless of what other amenities is advertised like that little car than can take you downtown for free .. still, what they picture on their website is not what you will see when you show up at check-in..

The highlight of our trip was Falesha at the front desk, who was very accommodating. We ship many packages to the resort, and she made sure we received them all. The rooms and property are recently renovated, and everyone of the staff was friendly to my wife and me. I will definitely come back, thanks again to Falesha at the front. If we had any suggestions to make it would that the pool could’ve been a little more heated but still doable and wished there was pool service! Other than that I will definitely be back.

I felt very unsafe and checked out but was charged for one night stay which I am going to fight for a refund. I simply checked in, left, came back, used the toilet, and left when I felt unsecure. I didnt use the bed or shower. If the room was secure, I would have tolerated the dirty floor and asked them to wet mop it. And I would have made sure they fixed the toilet paper dispenser and tv remote. I had to find another hotel at 10:30PM so was charged for the new hotel and this one. WRONG!!!!

All I can say is I have bed bug bites

I stayed for one noght and the room was comfortable and very clean. The remote was not working, so I could not turn the TV off or get the volume to work, but by the time I found out, it was late, so that was that. The stadff was accommodating and courteous, and the amenities were great! Will be back!

Didnot use pool

Location is great - meaning close to lots of good restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately therr multiple hairs still in the bathroom, parking is nonexistent; theres only valet or you can pay to park on the street (which, even overnight, was still cheaper. Decent place but i wouldnt stay there again given other options.

The room was very clean and updated but lacked counter/storage space. Very welcoming for our dog. Beyond control of hotel, but the area is not very accommodating to walk/potty the dog.

Did not use the pool. Parking was acceptable. The room was not acceptable. The refrigerator was making a strange sound, but the worst problem was the person at the front desk being extremely rude and condescending. I was supposed to stay one week. I checked out the second morning.

The property is well kept but they could have made better design decisions during their recent renovation. Particularly in the bathrooms. They are very small but that wasn't my issue. The showers only have a half glass wall so water either gets all over the floor or you have to squeeze in the corner close to the shower head. It would have been much better to make it a sliding door or just hang shower curtains. Also there's no exhaust vent and you can't open the window so it gets super humid and moist. I would also point out that the big window that shows your entire room does not have the privacy sheers under the heavy curtain so you cant even open them otherwise people walking by can see clearly and directly into your room. Also of note, you can kind of see it in the photos but the beds are very close to the door. Overall its an ok hotel. Not sure I'd come back due to the bathroom, but maybe its better if you have a bigger suite. I had the two double beds with kitchenette. Or maybe I'd come back if all my other preferred choices were sold out. Its not like its undoable. Again, property is very clean and staff was very nice. I left my watch buy the pool and was able to recover it from the front desk several hours later when I realized I didn't have it. I didn't try the food so I can't comment on that.

Was there fro six nights, two days out if the six I did not have housekeeping. By the time I returned st night it was too late to do anything about it. Disappointed. Room for improvement.

Everything could have been wonderful if only safety felt like a number 1 priority. They give a code to unlock your doors, pretty sure they give the same code Everytime. At 1:30 in the morning I was woken up to someone coming in my room, the people were just as shocked as me to see someone in the room. The night shift gave them the code to our room and said it was their room. Now first mistake is selling a room that is already occupied, but you are telling me you always use the same code?!?! So Joe Schmo from last week can just come in to that room at anytime?? When we went to the front desk it didn't seem that they cared. They blamed the night person but what gets me is that I am still waiting on the manager to call me. Apparently it was his 2 days off. I felt like I was in danger, I cried at the desk and I will say that Fatima and Jean seemed to care and they were as helpful as they could be in the situation. When they gave us a new code we decided to try the old one and guess what it worked!! This just seems to be a huge safety issue and the fact that no management has reached out is infuriating.

They don’t have an ice machine so you need to go to the front desk to get ice also no souvenir shop near by, but otherwise a great place to stay nice and clean with very friendly staff, great restaurant and a fun outside bar.

Quite an enjoyable stay. The staff and facility are outstanding and while off 'front beach', I'd rather stay here and may book again down the road. Beach is accessible and the amenities here make it hard to head to the beach!

The room was clean, the pool was nice and warm and the staff were extremely friendly! The building has clearly been updated some. My only complaint would be that there is a gap under our door so I had to put a towel there to try to block any bugs/light from getting in. Overall our stay was really nice and the location was convenient. We'd stay again.

Overpriced trash ass hotel checked in at 11 at night and couldn’t even take a shower because the water would’ve go down in the bathtub. The water was yellow like pee. I didn’t get no help until three in the morning.

This place sucks. If you want to be disappointed, stay here. Picture is not what it’s like. Crazy expensive for what you get.

Clean room, updated property pool was clean and inviting. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant.

We didn’t have any pets so not sure it felt like it could’ve been welcoming to them if you weren’t staying there. It was clean and staff was very nice but there was a few issues with the room that we had. First the electric stove top didn’t work great at all it took very long to try and get water to boil and at the end of it we actually weren’t even able to bring water to a boil. As well as all the plugs on the counter top didn’t work so we had to move the microwave over and use it by the door, looked at the circuit breaker and it was flashing red and green attempted one reset and it went right back to flashing and none of the plugs worked this might be a bigger concern that might want to be looked into.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was very clean and the staff was very friendly, although seemed stretched a bit thin at times based on how many customers wanted to utilize the amenities. The restaurant, while good, was particularly slow and needed additional staff to speed up order fulfillment. The shuttle is a wonderful convenience (please tip the drivers!) and the location is convenient. The beds and rooms are comfortable but the bathrooms are very small and some of the fixtures don't look entirely finished (exposed pipes). I would recommend this as a nice and convenient place to stay if visiting Ft Lauderdale.

This establishment is advertised as a hotel but it is an upgraded motel. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful. However, we had several concerns. The water was having a yellow coloring in the kitchen and in the bathroom so it did not seem drinkable. The hotel did not feel safe. Someone was knocking on our door late at night the first night and tried the code to get in. The hotel restaurant had a friendly staff, but a very slow service. We had to wait about 25 minutes to order breakfast and then when we finally did, we were informed that they ran out of two items that we wanted to get. The hotel offers an EV shuttle, which is great but when we called to get picked up from the beach, we were told that we would have to wait for about 2 hours.

We really enjoyed our stay, we had a room with kitchenette and everything appeared to be brand new. We had trouble with water and our shower head the first night but was taken care of by the great maintenance man the very next morning. The cleaning crew missed a few things sometimes like stocking the toilet paper or changing our sheets but once it was brought to the front desk attention it was taken care of. Overall a wonderful stay, close to grocery store, restaurants and the restaurant on premise is great. Fatima was also wonderful to deal with. Hope to return next year

My room wasn’t cleaned, went to speak to them and they said they were going to send someone and never did, not even an apology, their excuse we are too full because of cancelled flights. The two bottles of water in my room never received.

Better than expected. An old hotel with modest renovations. It’s not fancy, but has a lot of charm. Everyone that worked there was so nice…Everything you need is nearby. Lizzy at the bar was great. Unfortunately, the food at the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We would definitely go back.

I am so pleased with this hotel! I have to say that the customer service was absolutely outstanding. They were very laid-back and accommodating to all of their guests. The room was perfect for our family of four.. we got the two bedroom suite. It was not oversized, but gave a little separation and added space. The pool was smaller, but was exactly what we needed at the end of a beach day or just relax. The food at the greenhouse restaurant was great and well priced. The electric bikes and the complimentary shuttle were absolutely amazing, and we took full advantage. The location was right in the middle of everything and the area was safe. Grocery store, coffee and CVS across the street. You just never know when you’re booking online until you get there, but I would absolutely give this place raving reviews on all fronts!!

Overall very nice and very clean. The room and facility is nicely renovated and nice. There was no fan in the bathroom which was weird. Had a problem with getting safe to work but got help within the day. I didn’t appreciate the hotel fees which I didn’t know about before coming in. They don’t have additional roll away beds or pack n plays which was inconvenient. The restaurant was very pricy and very long wait for our food. The location is great and we really appreciated the free shuttle service to the beach and local restaurants.

Greeted nice and professional at lobby. Rooms and bathroom where clean and tidy. The front foyer had a synthetic scent that I did not like but I get what they are trying to do - aromatic therapy, but it made me sick each time I wakes thru the area. The staff where always helpful and friendly when asked for anything. I would stay there again.

Didn't love our room location, it was tucked back in a corner and secluded, maybe because we were traveling with our dog... but our view was of asphalt and the side of a building, not like the photo shown in the ad. Also our setup was awkward, with the sofa under the mounted tv, so we had to turn it around and move it across the room. Overall a decent hotel for the price.

Avoid. Where to start. Lets start with things they can likely fix easily. Line up out the door to check in at 8pm.at night. Lady in front was discussing ants in her room.... Bar took 15 min to get a drink. Not overly busy but only one lady working bar and she got distracted easily. This is not a hotel. It is a motel. I had 3 rooms at hotel so know the rooms. The main building was nicely renovated and ok. Only issue there is the weed smoke wafitng up whenever you sit on.balcony. It doesn't normally bother me but it was excessive. It was great! I particularly liked that there were 3 pools, a lounge outside, and a lot of games to play outside like ping pong, Jenga, Connect 4, plus a little library. Room was clean and comfortable for sleeping :)

This is a motel not a hotel. In the oldest portion there are no elevators. Staying on the second floor was impossible for me to lift my suitcase up the very steep larger risers than a normal staircase. I had to wait for someone to come by to help me. The beds are very very soft & the pillows are extra firm. There is a free shuttle service within 5 mile radius. Maximum it can take is 5 people. There could be a lineup of people wanting it which can make for a long wait. Service in the restaurant is slow.

It was newly renovated, but our bathroom door was warped and the bottom corner broken. Our door didn't shut and we came back to the room with it wide open after they had come to clean it

The room itself was very spacious and had a great view. Beds and pillows were quite comfy. Bathroom was not updated and could use a facelift. I was overall happy with my stay, however the little things start to add up and take away from the experience. The pools are not heated and they were freezing. Their text concierge replied to my text 5 hours later. There was no hand soap in the dispenser in my bathroom. The most bizarre thing was I went downstairs to the restaurant in the morning to order breakfast. Order as taken and I went to sit at a table to wait for my food. Its going on 15min, no food....20...25...30min. The table next to me just received their food. Another 10min go by, now going on 40min with no food and the chef comes out and apologizes and says hes having an issue and needs to leave. Then the waitress comes out and apologizes that "the grill is not working and we arent able to cook anything". I said so how did that table get their food and is the grill really not working or did your chef leave? She just looked at me blankly. Very weird.

This is a newly renovated property that looks great. Booked two balcony rooms. The rooms were verty clean and current. The view was outstanding. The entire staff at all levels was friendly and professional. From the house cleaning staff to the front desk, everyone stops to greet you. I will stay here again.

Great drivers for the shuttle

The staff were amazing. The room was a dump. I think they ran out of money during renovations. The right side of king side bed was broken. The TV list internet connectivity and never came back. The tub was gross and probably 20 years old. You could see the outside through the outside door so it wasn’t hung properly. Light shined in all night because blinds didn’t cover the windows properly. No ice machine you have to call and wait and wait. Oh and there is no in room dining/room service. The web site is wrong. Oh and get ready for a 20 buck parking charge per night and a resort fee. Overall I probably paid with taxes over 350 for one night in a crap hole. And was smoking at 1 then 215 then 330 am by the people and cars outside. Run away.

The room was clean but the supplies like soap, shampoo & tissues were skimpy & not always always in the room before it was needed. Also, the reception employees & the cleaning staff spoke & understood very minimal English thus making communication difficult.

No light switch for floor lamp. Not enough outlets to charge. HORRIBLE coffee setup. Not enough artificial sweeteners. Only powdered “creamer”. Toilet paper even worse than the Walmart GV brand (which is a what I use at home). Chairs by desk all scuffed at the arms from being too tall for desk. Cardboard pieces poking out from floor tile.

The entire stay was pleasant. The front desk staff was able to check me into my rooms swiftly. The rooms were very sizeable, the balcony view is amazing during sunrise/sunset! The housekeeping staff were very respectful. I did eat breakfast and dinner during different days of the week, Maria was very attentive and the food tasted very good. I did visit the bar which is outside and the nice lady tending bar was able to make my drink and offered to make a local drink, which I enjoyed.

The Garden Resort is a collection of smaller motels, combined with a cool retro motif. The rooms in the Dahlia building were plain, but newly refurbished, impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable. What more can you ask? We did not use the pool, free shuttle or other hotel services, but they seemed fine. Staff were absolutely great.

The room smelled like marijuana, and the hotel in general did not look like the pictures. It is a glorified motel with a horrible view and low quality amenities. They charge a high resort fee for a motel with a tiny pool and sad little bar. It is not a resort of any kind.

This hotel has undergone a fabulous renovation and offers great value. The room was super clean and the bathroom was perfect. The on-site staff is wonderful, especially receptionist Christina, who was most accommodating, and the amazing bar team of Lovely and Maria, who gave great recommendations for local entertainment and who were an absolute joy to talk with. Lovely and Maria, you rock! We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Property was not a “luxury resort” as advertised. Style is motel, but rooms are clean. Bathrooms could use vents and longer shower walls, as everything gets wet.

Very basic, pool isn’t cleaned every day. No ice machine despite the fact they give you an ice bucket. When asked about ice they sent us to buy it at the supermarket. Room was cleaned daily.

The room was very clean, great amenities for kids! The room didn’t have any drawers or furniture to put clothes in or on. I used the ironing board for that. It could also use a larger garbage can for the suites, as well as a chair for extra seating.

There are absolutely none of the activities that they advertise. No yoga or Pilates. They simply do not have them, but they advertise that they do. In general, I did not feel like I got my moneys worth for the 60 dollar a day “resort fees”. It’s not a resort. It’s 3 motels owned by the same company.

The food was outstanding. They all made me feel like it was home away from home.

My husband Dan and I celebrated our 30-year wedding anniversary at The Garden Hotel & Resort! We loved our stay! The hotel was recently renovated and looks amazing! The hotel is modern and clean and has a Circuit shuttle to take you anywhere on Ocean Blvd. The hotel is also down the street from Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Beach and 10 minutes from the Mai-Kai Restaurant & Polynesian Show!

One towel for three days and I ran out of toilet paper. They billed me for parking and charged me a premium rate for an extra night. I’ll never stay there again.

The rooms here were nice and clean, but parking area were limited due to construction. I paid for parking one night and next morning I had a nail in my tire, I came back the next day to pay for parking once again, later that night when came to park they were alll gone. Not a single space was an available, after speaking with concierge, I was told to park my vehicle on the side of a building where I could not see on visible camera. So paying for parking was useless I still had to park off the property.

Even though the properties under renovation, it is a very good option for Beach location. It is literally across the street from the beach.. it’s more like a boutique hotel. However, once they finish, all of their upgrades is going to be a fabulous location and very organic.. we will be back again. It’s a best kept secret.

Upon arrival, it wasn’t obvious but as the day went on my partner noticed the bugs on her feet and ankles. The infestation was severe enough that my partner developed bites, and we were deeply concerned about the health risks associated with flea exposure, including skin irritation, allergic reactions, and the potential spread of disease. To protect her health, I had to rehome her to another location on Saturday. The owners didn’t send someone to clean up the bugs until after 4p, so my partner who was staying there while I was at a conference continued to stay at the new location. As a result, she was unable to enjoy the property at all. I contacted the property owner about the issue, but they have not provided any refund or resolution. Given that the property was unsafe and unlivable, I am requesting Expedia’s assistance in securing a full refund. I can provide further details, including documentation and communication with the owner, if needed. I trust that Expedia values the safety and wellbeing of its customers and will address this matter quickly.

100/10 Rating.. The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional from managers to regular staff. I would recommend this hotel to any visiting Fort Lauderdale! It’s extremely affordable and actually look way better inside than the price you’ll pay.

Pretty old buildings but remodeled. Check-in receptionist, bit jaded, robotic, not very welcoming, Check-out receptionist, amazing! so kind and attentive. The building looks like a war zone since they are doing heavy remodeling and construction. As it's an old area/building they use the AC units which although new, when ON is so loud you can't speak with someone a foot away.

Property is under construction and the pool is not open. The floors were dirty. I enjoyed the quietness and the customer service.

Upon arriving in Fort Lauderdale from Ohio, the entire property was under construction, which was NOT mentioned. No use of the pool, etc, trash and materials everywhere with almost nowhere to park. The first morning after arriving around 3am the prior night, a construction crew was running a very loud tile saw and jackhammer at 7am which woke us up. Also, water pressure was awful and room was nothing like advertised and had a musty dust smell to it. They post several different rooms and different pictures so you don’t actually know what room you’re getting. Overall, terrible experience, would give 0 stars if possible.

The hotel is in a great area, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, the rooms were renovated and very spacious, clean, comfortable bed. The only negative point I have about the hotel was that it is in big time renovations and they said it would be done a few days after we left but that is impossible as there is about 1-2 months left of work. They also send me an email saying that saturday and sundays they would not be working but they were on the saturday. Very noisey, chairs at pool are all broken, pool very nice and clean. Once this hotel is fully renovated it will be a great place to stay.

This property is under construction and they have a complete disregard for safety. Equipment left in the parking lot, hoses in the way can't get around with stroller or luggage, workers getting upset that they need to move their equipment so you can leave... even though they were dumb enough to put it in the way they would block the only entrance and exit. Not worth any money

My issue with the place was that it did not look like the pictures, even the lobby and outside. The name of the hotel is garden hotel but when you walk to the door there is just a paper sign that says royal palace. This made it hard to make sure you were at the right place until you walked in. The only good part was the room. Also did not understand the extra charge for amenities when there were non in the room.

We couldn’t even stay there, the place was totally destroyed and not under maintenance. Pool decks were broken, electricity box exposed at the pool area, coke cans here and there, horrible experience. We didn’t check in and we are still trying to get our refund back because the place looked like it was in ruins. Horrible don’t choose this place to stay

It was a convenient walk to beach, restaurants, & stores. Didn't like the fact that they didn't have wash cloths. They'd only give one.

We were there 3 nights and the room did not get cleaned once. Was only provided 2 bath towels and when we called and asked for additional towels, they brought us 2 small hand towels. The air conditioning unit in the room was not functioning fully and would make noise ALL night. Between the noise of the air conditioning unit and the construction as well as hearing the next door’s neighbors because of the paper thin walls, we were truly not happy with our stay.

The renovated inside of the motel is decent, but the outside still needs a lot of work in the fact that they charge you to park at a motel that’s being renovated is ridiculous. It’s not close to the events. You have to walk four blocks down the street just to cross over to the beach. The chairs at the pool are disgusting. Bad low hanging wires in the under garage part in electrical cords running from the building next-door over to this building. The outside tiki bar was not open. The inside bar was not open. Most of the staff does not speak English. Also, the water pressure is terrible and they should’ve redone the bathrooms.

They say they have airport shuttle service, but you have to call and arrange it beforehand and pay for it. The property is appears to be under construction, based on the fact that when I opened the blinds in our room, a sea can was blocking any view there might’ve been. The office building is dank and dated, and I hesitated to sit and wait for our room to be ready The gate was broken on the entrance to our room. There was not a single chair to sit outside on the gated area. There was no seal around the air conditioner, and I could put my hand between the wall in the unit, which would explain why there were bugs in the room. There was a second exterior door in the room that was locked from the outside, and for some reason had a peep hole to look into our room. I covered it right away, but it was concerning to me that it could be opened from the outside at any given time because there’s nothing on the interior side to prevent it from opening.

Enjoy the distance to the beach. Convenient to shopping areas and the Fort Lauderdale Beach. They are working on this Hotel. Making major improvements on the inside. And they have not finished the outside yet.

For the price, this was a good hotel. The photos are a little misleading, it does not look as nice in person, but it is still nice. It was clean, had somewhat comfortable beds, had a good amount of amenities. The tv needs more channels, but definitely not a big deal. We wish there were carpeted floors because coming back from the beach with sandy feet did not go well with the tile floors. But overall, it was nice for the affordable price. We would come again.
