Everything was lovely. My only wish would be for the blind angle to be adjustable to open up the view of the canal.

Great little gem with the most friendly and welcoming staff and other guests. Great swimming pools and lovely bar area I think something healthier in the bar food menu such as a chicken ceaser salad would be a good addition. Otherwise I found the place to be pretty perfect :)

Every detail about our 5-day stay was excellent in every way. The only down side was the weather - chilly most days in February Fort Lauderdale. But we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing staff as always! Well-maintained property. Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Walking distance to Walgreens, McDonalds and a tasty all day breakfast spot. And just a 5 min Uber ride to the bars and strip.

I enjoyed my recent stay at Cabanas Guesthouse. The guesthouse is clean and well maintained. The Guesthouse is well located - close to “ The Drive” commercial area of Wilton Manors, and Fort Lauderdale Beaches. Most of all, I enjoyed the authentic hospitality of the hosts.

They do have a very limited menu for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is continental only. Location was excellent for those seeking a convenient Wilton Manors stay. Pool is especially nice. Staff goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Secure gate access and convenient parking on site. The property is mid century and nicely restored and maintained. Great for those seeking personalized, mid century architecture and unique experience though smaller and simpler than modern accommodations.

Convenient location with secure parking. Room needs attention to detail. Bed pillows are a bit hard. Would be nice to have dispensers with body wash and shampoo and hand soap instead of the little individually wrapped soaps and tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Room wall paint was a bit scraped in different areas under tv and in bathroom and floor tile is broken in front of coffee pot. Bathroom sink drains slow. Notified attendant cleaning room. Maybe add a skirt to cover the metal base bec stand.

The pool was nice, the hot tub was cozy, the gardens were lush and the staff were fantastic. If the owners invested some money in some upgrades — including a fresh coat of paint to the rooms and some upgrades to Smart televisions, this could be stellar.

When I first got there I was greeted by the general manager. I forgot his name. I went to my room and was very disappointed. It didn’t have a a comforter on top of sheets never cleaned room. All they did was changed the towels. Later on that evening once I got settled in I’ve heard the automatic gate oped and closed The traffic you could also hear. The pool was filled with pine needles I’d would say. Didn’t see anyone clean it. The hot tube chemicals were to powerful to even stay in it for too long I was going to Address my experienced to the GM unfortunately he was off. When he was off for a couple of days at that time I had just figured it was one of his employees. I went to the desk for some issues I had He asked me what they were. I then told him the pictures of the cockroach in my room. He stated, it’s Florida and he also told me they exterminate every month. Which I seemed hard to believe. Then went to take shower and the hose was spitting out water, more than the shower head Someone fixed it.So you guys can figure out how you would address these concerns. If you were to ask me if I would come back and tell my friends this is a great place to stay. I would definitely let them know not to including myself

We always stay at The Cabanas when we visit Fort Lauderdale! This place is so beautiful and relaxing! Walk to shops and dining, on site parking, beautifully appointed and comfy rooms. The pools, hot tubs and steam room are kept in perfect condition. The SPA is also AMAZING! A MUST STAY!!

Updated and kept very clean. The Air conditioning is amazing, and the beds are so comfortable! The clothing optional pool, spa and steam room are perfectly maintained and the Tiki bar is always well stocked and a great place to chill. Paradise found!

We showed up the same week as the coronavirus. All the restaurants and bars closed the next day so we spent all our time at the resort. John and Tim were very sensitive to the ongoing problems and did their best to sanitize and keep surfaces as clean as possible. It was a tough time but they did their best to keep all spirits up. We shall return!!

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was above and beyond. I wish they had a free Happy Hour every night with hors d'oeuvres, as do similar resorts.

Enjoyed multiple pools, park like setting drinks by the river. good size room with private Bath. very clean good bed. n Oasis of calm after a hectic cruise. Great staff with in house bar. Allowed to use facilities thru next day with a 1730 fly out. I would recommend to fellow travelers.

The property is beautiful. Adjacent to a waterway and privacy landscaping make it a charming getaway. The staff and spa is 1st class and they keep the rooms clean and well kept up. A large heated pool (clothing optional) and nice steam room add to the amenities. We had a small problem with our bedframe and within 5 minutes, the owner and a staff member came to our room and repaired it quickly. Nice friendly atmosphere and the guests take their cues from that too. A wonderful vacation spot.

Tim and the staff at Cabana's were incredible. It's in a great location to restaurants and entertainment. I met several international guests (most of were really friendly). We had fun hot tub get-togethers. I would suggest that you schedule a massage prior to your trip. They have great spa services and they book quickly. I'll be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Cabanas. Was my firsr time . The place is very well kept. Beautifully clean and the staff are super nice. There is s good reason why there is a disclaimer on their site about not guaranteeing quiet. I live in a very quiet place and this delightful place is on a very busy road at a very busy intersection so traffic and emergency vehicle noise is very hard to adjust to. That is a long explination for a small "but" if you live in any busy city it will be fine for you. I will go back without any thought

I have been staying at the Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa since they opened in 1999. John and Bill have built a friendly and comfortable resort where guests can relax and be themselves. The staff is wonderful and always accomodating. I would recommend the Cabanas to those traveling for leisure or on business. Once you check in, you won’t want to leave.
