The beds where clean but floors in both rooms 3103 and 3104 were very dirty your feet was black from just walking across the floor. The shower door in room 3104 was messed up. You need to wear water shoes when going into the pool there was something sharp in it around the line were it went to deep water.

I would get a refund if I could. We showed up to the facilities and immediately left to go to a Hilton. People smoking all over the place, trash on the ground, stains on the walls and holes in the floor. Not even suitable for an animal to stay.

Location was great, not super walkable but nice with a rental car. Very clean and helpful staff
- 3/5
It was okay but they have an internet based remote agent instead of real people at the front desk. Weird and unhelpful. The rest was adequate.

Alright before a cruise but won't stay there again.

Room was ok, bed was ok. Floors filthy. Why is the coffee maker in the bathroom??
- 4/5
Great stay. Shuttle from the airport took a while but it was worth the stay. Breakfast wasn’t anything to brag about. 7.5/10
- 5/5
I got in late and left early, but everything was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Shuttle guys are very nice The waiting in line to check in on a kiosk. The front desk are a little mean and seemed like they were bothered to sell us drinks from their refrigerator. Shuttle service was great.

El personal es muy nefasto, y racista
- 3/5
Good property. Not much option for food. Had to Uber to South Beach. Shuttle service to/from airport and cruise port was great.
- 4/5
The receptionist was not friendly other than that it was a nice room.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
The room was very clean, which was the most important. The coffee service in the morning was closed by 9:15 though, and the person directing the shuttle in the morning was very obnoxious. And told vulgar jokes. The free shuttle from the airport and to the cruise ship was very nice. Other than no coffee and the obnoxious person, it was a nice stay.

This hotel is close to airport and 1 of the hotels SAStransportaion will pick up at to go to Miami cruise port. SAStransportation is only $15 pp.

Convenience and the pool I did not like the check in kiosk. It was difficult to hear and understand. I prefer a desk clerk

The complimentary shuttle and driver were very good. More pleasant employees. One female employee who checked us in appeared to dislike her job

The hotel is good to stay short time. And is affordable.
- 2/5
The listing said it could accommodate trailers but when we got there they charged an extra $65 plus said we couldn’t keep the boat trailer there even though there were only 2 other vehicles in thst lot. I cried at check in What i said above. The clerk of the desk was not clear, did not speak very good English, and it took about an hour to get everything straightened out, causing the rest of my party to be very upset with me so it was not a good start to the night plus by the time they were finished raking us over the coals. The restaurant was closed even though on the site and the signage and reception said that it was opened until midnight and we ended up eating dinner that was brought in from a pizza place at 1 AM.

Breakfast could have been a little better

The shuttles from the airport and to the cruise ship port Breakfast could have been a little better

The reception lady not friendly at all
- 5/5
Adequate for our needs.
- 2/5
There was nothing to like, it is terrible huge motel difficult to find the location of your room. Never again to be offered
- 5/5
Reception efficient, all details covered. Shuttles from airport and to cruise port well organized and free. Pool area looked inviting but no time to use. Have used bar/restaurant before but as ours was late arrival and an event was on, we opted to buy cold beer from reception to drink in garden. Great basic hotel and will use again as needed.

3 Stars Just Ok. Nothing special
- 3/5
Our 2 day stay was just OK. It was unfortunate that each time we arrived because it was before the 3 o'clock check in time we got charged the extra $55. For a Hotel/Motel that primarily is attributed to the Cruise port and Air lines, this is a sneaky way to get an additional $110.Breakfast was appreciated, and just enough to fill your belly. The room was clean and chilled when we arrived both days.(Thank you for this) The shuttle staff/front desk (Marvin)were pleasant but terribly understaffed. We ended up paying an additional $50 to arrive and leave the port. Convenience, not so convenient.
- 5/5
Great everything except fridge! To noisy

- 5/5
All good
- 3.5/5
This was definitely not a 3 star hotel. At the utmost a 2... coating off some of the tile had come off in the shower stall. The shower head definitely needed to be replaced.
- 2/5
The room was partially clean (the toilet and sink). The floor was so dirty that my feet were black after walking on it for five minutes! There was hair in the corners and I tracked it all over the place. The shower floor was dirty, if you can imagine! The shower also had black algae in the corners. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy. The ride from the airport was fine. The bus ride to the port was an absolute clown show. The bus was completely full, so they had folks standing up in the aisle at the back of the bus and then ran out of luggage storage and proceeded to roll luggage down the aisle up to the poor folks that were standing. They had a senior citizen as a driver and the poor SOB had to load and unload the bus himself. The employee that gathered everyone together to load the bus thought he was a comedian but was rude and crass!
- 4.5/5
Employee who checked me in had a negative attitude, maybe because she got frustrated with the couple who checked in before me. She did not ask me if I had a car and if I needed a parking pass. The kiosk with the virtual employee is very loud.
- 2/5
Do not use the transpotation. We waited 45 min after pick up time and had to uber. When we used to go to cruise terminal. Others were on going to airport and had to wait for all the drop off first.
- 4/5

Hotel is a little outdated. The grounds were well kept. Rooms were clean but the beds and pillows were worn out. Ceiling fan ran but extra slow even on high. The spickett on the tub would not work to draw water in the tub. The shower head barely put water out. The staff were friendly enough but they didnt go out of their way to greet you with a smile. Shuttle service to and from airport and cruise port were the most beneficial. Hotel is close to both which is a plus.
- 2/5
After reaching the room
- 1/5
The shuttle to the motel from the airport was a long wait time & there are not many places to sit while waiting to be picked up. I consider an hour too long to wait, for this convenience. However, I did note that other hotels did have a better system (more vehicles in rotation ?).
- 5/5
I liked the rides from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the cruise port.
- 4/5
The. Breakfast is standard waffles syrup or butter eggs yogurt coffee and tea.

Room was recently updated but had little flying bugs. They didn’t bite but didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. I got locked inside my room since the lock wasn’t working. I ate at the restaurant and ordered chicken tenders and they were almost burnt. Not sure if I would stay there again

- 3/5
OK for the price. We normally stay at Hilton or Marriott properties, so this was like staying at campground. The staff was OK, but not very helpful. Getting information was like pulling teeth. The restaurant was good. The rooms were OK. I would never stay at a Rodeway again.
- 3/5
Shuttle to the cruise port was great! Breakfast was barely edible. Room really needs updating.
- 2/5
Convenient shuttle service Front desk service was terrible. We were assigned a room in the back forty and after a long trek to find it, the room had already been used with dirty linens everywhere. It was a hassle and took way too long to get a different room assigned. No apology from the people behind the service desk. Would not recommend.
- 3/5
The attached Tavern was good value. We waited 3 hours for the shuttle to pick us up from the cruise terminal.
- 4/5
They do provide free shuttle to the airport or cruise ships which is a huge plus
- 4/5
Hotel was ok, some of the staff were pleasant, breakfast was good! Appreciated the shuttle to the airport.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay!!! Clean room, transportatiom from the hotel to airport on point😁 We ordered food from the Restaurant and the quesadillas and the chilli amazing!!! 10/10 . The hotel offers the option to pay with Affirm, but when we artived, we were told that they do not accept digital credit cards. They should disclise this on their websiteor simply do not list that payment method as an option.
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was good, room was clean. All good
- 4.5/5
It was satisfactory. It had an on site restaurant with basically bar food. And drinks. I felt safe. Our stay was based on the transportation to and from the airport to from the ship. And that was great. When was a little old and out of date but that didn’t bother me. I actually appreciate older properties that make it easier to get around. To me it was like Classic, Florida or California tropic.
- 1/5
The first room they gave us smell badly, it was coming out from the bathroom. It's the old sewage smell. They gave us an upgraded room. It was better, but overall, still feeling musty. No tissue paper!
- 5/5
A great place to stay if you are coming or going to the airport or cruise terminal.
- 4/5
The Marine 84 Restaurant was delicious for dinner during both stays. Shuttle staff was very impressive... friendly and helpful and seemed to love what they were doing. Thank you SO much! The first stay, our room floor was filthy. The second stay, breakfast didn't offer much for diabetic/gluten-free diets. Neither stay accommodated our request for extra towels.
- 4.5/5
Pool needs to be cleaned
- 4.5/5
Close to the airport and cruise port. $40 fee to check in early
- 5/5
Cute and very functional stay especially for pre or post cruising. Clean room. Organized cruise shuttle. Decent breakfast.
- 3/5
No hot tub no gym really just a eliptical and a treadmill and bike in a 10 x 8 room. Run down old place. Food was overpriced. And land locked in the area not really walkable. Airport shuttle and cruise port shuttle was okay
- 4/5
We checked in late and left early this morning.
- 2/5
Coffee ok Fantastic 1 1/2 or 2% milk None of Hotels two / Three star ratings broward county . Apply such minor, but extremely important since BB more than 60% bookings are Latino’s where milk in coffee a mayor portion there life away from home. In fact the price range at very heavy use staying prior joining on cruces from Port Everglades
- 5/5
Decent restaurant for dinner. Very clean. Great value for price, and if we cruise from Fort Lauderdale port again, would definitely stay there.
- 5/5
All in all a nice place to stay for the money
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3.5/5
Our stay was convenient with a smooth check-in and excellent shuttle service to and from the airport and cruise port. The airport pickup driver came across as rude on the phone, but was much nicer in person, and overall staff were friendly and informative. The property felt welcoming and relatively clean. However, finding our room was difficult, and noise from early pool use, foot traffic, and loud shuttle announcements made it hard to get rest.
- 5/5
- 4/5
The property is older but they have done some more necessary updates.
- 4/5
Convenient and friendly, free shuttle to and from the airport.

clean. nice restaurant for dinner. wonderful breakfast included The woman at check-in was not very friendly.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, and the entire place including the room was clean and beautiful. Nothing.
- 4/5
An ok place to stay
- 4/5
Perfect for cruising
- 0.5/5
They gave our room away so we did not stay at the facility and they had to uber us to another resort all 19 of us WILL but disputing all charges We did get to stay there
- 4/5
Only negative: They were short-staffed when several parties were checking in so it took quite awhile.
- 3/5
Wifi slow. Weak signal. Breakfast not great. Staff nice. Room clean although ours was very noisy due to loud AC unit and proximity to parking lot. Weird smell in lobby
- 3/5
The kiosk check-in was a nightmare. If the Manager wasn't available to help us we would have been even more irritated. It took over 1/2 hour while desk check-ins breezed through
- 2/5
Check in staff was rude and unfriendly
- 5/5
It was a good stay. They are one of the best hotels for those leaving on a cruise. The rooms are fine, not outstanding but clean and nice. Breakfast was good and the services they offer to those cruisers can't be beat.
- 5/5
We checked in pretty fast.It is a very busy place. I had the room with the big bathtub. That was amazing.I used it twice. Everybody was nice. It's really big with the cruisers, and there's the shuttle.
- 4/5
Close to airport and Cruz’s port free transportation to both by shuttle
- 5/5
Great stay before our cruise, convenient for airport and cruise transfers.
- 5/5
It’s deceiving when you see this place. My first impression wasn’t the best. Reception was not very warm or smiling. But the amenities are perfect for people like us taking a cruise. Free shuttle from the airport, free shuttle to the cruise port. Restaurant/bar was great. Room was sparse but clean. Didn’t use the pool, but it was nice. You can even park your car there (for a price) while you cruise! They really know their business and there clientele! Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Breakfast was very nice. Only complaint is the music in the bar/restaurant is extremely loud and starts very early in the evening. You cannot hear anyone speaking to you while eating dinner. We actually saw two couples leaving and the ladies removed ear plugs from their ears when they got outside. Maybe start music at 9 o’clock??
- 5/5
The shuttle was included from the airport and to the cruise port . The breakfast was good n/a
- 5/5
Perfect for our needs pre cruising.
- 4/5
We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. It is older, but clean and efficient. The on site restaurant was good, but pricy. It’s very close to both the airport & cruise port. They offer a shuttle to both for a fee.

1 night stay on the way to the Bahamas and way back. Airport transfers and ferry port transfers available. Its an all American motel, so right up our street! Helpful friendly staff
- 4/5
Breakfast OK. Pool very nice.
- 0.5/5
I made the reservation for my family, Some how I only put my Nieces name down. Tiffany at reception would not let me check in because my niece was not there yet, and I would have to wait in the lobby or somewhere until she arrived at 9:30pm. The payment was made with my credit card and I had all the paper work. I asked her since there were 2 rooms on the reservation, could she just give me a room she said "yes for $199, but she could give me a discount of $8.00, which I felt was an insult. I left and stayed someplace else. Tiffany, never showed any interest in helping to resolve the situation. I made 2 reservations here and was not able to cancel my stay on April 13th and receive my money back. so we stay here on the 13th. I will never stay here again and will tell any one who ask me about it: PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE. Although, it is convenient for a place to stay when cruising out of Fort Lauderdale which is what we were doing.
- 4/5
Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was just the standard. I am sure that this property looked nice many years ago, and has a very good potential if upgraded and modernized a bit.
- 3/5
The complimentary breakfasts was ok as well they had cereal, waffles, bread etc i would rate it a 5/10
- 4/5
This was a fair hotel. It is dated, but it is clean and considering they seemed to be the only hotel that offers a free shuttle to the cruise port, I’d recommend staying here. I don’t know if I’d stay here again because of the dated-ness of the hotel. It’s clean, but I don’t think the free shuttle is enough for me to stay again. The staff was fine, not rude, just all doing their jobs.
- 1/5
The owner or whoever the guy was walking around the FULL lobby while we were trying to check in. Was incredibly sleezy and rude.
- 2/5
Also, the hotel is located away from restaurants. The only accessible restaurant was at the hotel and that place was slow and over priced and did not deliver per the menu (they were out of many of the advertised ingredients).
- 4/5
Some employees not the friendliest, breakfast wasn’t restocked much. Restaurant crazy expensive with nothing in walking distance
- 0.5/5
Location Bed sheets were not changed and had someone else’s blood on them, people being loud and could not sleep
- 5/5
Shuttle to port
- 2/5
Check-in took over 30 minutes, and we had a reservation. Terrible process, especially when you arrive late at night. Avoid at all costs.
- 4/5
We were disappointed because the breakfast was very limited this time with no eggs or sausage. Other than that the stay was good.
- 4/5
Appreciated the shuttle to the cruise pier. Enjoyed the restaurant too.
- 4.5/5
Comfortable, friendly staff, hotel had a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and also shuttle to port terminal
- 3/5
Very slow check-in. Good airport shuttle with a grumpy driver. Good sports bar/restaurant but there's nothing else in the area. Pool looked cloudy, so we passed on a dip in the pool.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Breakfast was a joke and the shuttle wasnt even running for most of the morning
- 2/5
Bartender at Marina restaurant was really nice
- 2/5
Breakfast options was the same every day and staff stood and watched the portion you were taking. I was told I wasn’t able to pour coffee in my coffee cup that I brought with me.
- 5/5
Excellent pre or post cruise stop. Love that they have a shuttle to the ship! Extremely clean…our new ‘go to’ place!
- 2/5
Female receptionist at check in was not friendly. We seemed to be a big bother to her. She raced thru checkin. Seemed annoyed when we asked a question. Raced off before I could ask another question
- 3/5
Breakfast wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Shuttle service was great. Fan had a lot of dust on it in the room and was hanging off of it. Sheets felt like they had sand in them as if they hadn’t been cleaned.
- 3/5
On the other hand. The continental breakfast was very good. And the staffs work at the breakfast place, they're very nice and helpful. I thank you for them.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Loved the meal that was attached to the hotel. The shuttle was fast from the airport and great they brought you to the cruise ship. Janet
- 5/5
Budget hotel with excellent service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was also clean and comfortable. Guest Laundry was perfect for our needs, had multiple washers and dryers that took coin and digital pay. Complementary shuttle from airport took a little longer than desired. However the process for the cruise port shuttle was very detailed and organized! Breakfast area was a little crowded. But overall, great experience for the price we paid! I would definitely stay there again for a Fort Lauderdale cruise!
- 1/5
Rude front desk staff, they force you to deal with a remote desktop in India who tried to help but it was very difficult to understand, who also charged me extra fees after the reservation was paid in full through Orbitz, no one to indicate where your room is, and finally after looking at a hotel map found the room which smelled bad, old AC unit didn't cool well, slept in a poor quality mattress, it was terrible.
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
The main attraction for this hotel is the free airport and cruise terminal shuttles. They make it easy to get to your cruise. The room we had was large and clean. It boasted a fridge and microwave. The pool is nice but unfortunately does not include a hot tub. Check in is at 3 pm so we had to wait a while by the pool. The only restaurant in the area is the sports bar in the hotel. We had the fish burger and Cobb salad. Both were good. The only shop in the area is a gas station a 15 minute walk away, which had surprisingly good pizza.
- 3/5
Very nice place to stay with family for a couple of days.
- 4/5
The wait for the shuttle from the airport was 90 minutes but the rest of the stay was good. Not a lot of options for breakfast but it was a decent continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Breakfast was very good, staff was good except for the bus guy yelling orders at elderly folks, pool was very nice
- 3/5
The hotel itself was good but the food at their restaurant was terrible.
- 5/5
Older facility but clean and well organized if you are headed on a cruise.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Shuttle to and from airport and cruise port. Breakfast was nice to have.
- 4/5
The rooms are updated, the building looks very old. It was nice the free shuttle from the airport and to our ferry.
- 5/5
great stay and awesome shuttle to the ship
- 5/5
Everythimg is goog,

Outdoor Pool was great. Breakfast was good. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean.
- 3/5
If you are going on a cruise, they do have it on point in the morning to get you to your ship. That’s was a nice surprise after the night we had.
- 5/5
Room very clean and nicely updated. Staff very helpful. This is a great hotel to stay in if you are needing a night between airport and cruise port. They offer the shuttles for both. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, including eggs, waffles, and sausage. All kinds of bread and pastries. Highly recommend we will certainly use this hotel again.
- 4/5
Very good 👌
- 2/5
Not enough seats for breakfast crowd
- 3/5
The desk didn't answer the phone for the free shuttle from the airport The cruise shuttle was well organized and on time
- 5/5
Excellent spot for layovers and day stays..super location and emeritus
- 2/5
Pre cruise crowd. Felt tacky and dirty. Rooms were adequate.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Shuttle to port Everglades was well organized and efficient
- 3/5
- 1/5
Check in was beyond difficult, they were understaffed. Room was clean but no frills. We paid to be picked up at the cruise port, called them like they instructed, person spoke broken English and after waiting 90 minutes, we finally called an Uber. Don’t recommend this hotel!
- 2/5
I picked the room with the whirlpool. I had a long week. Could not wait to get in my room and relax in the pool. Paid extra for that tub. The water would not get hot. Money litterly down the drain. They did not fix it. Went to the little restaurat. They said an hour and a half wait for food. I was so hungry. I saw a sign on the gift shop saying they have sandwiches. No sandwiches. Check in took over an hour. Breakfast was a joke. All bread products. I could not wait to get out of there.
- 4/5
Let’s start with the good, free shuttle from airport and to the hotel. Bathroom had decent shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Room had both heater and AC. One of the staff, I believe was a cleaning person (girl with dreadlocks) wish I took her name. Was so friendly and very welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was false advertise as we were a family of 4 but they only gave us 2 comp breakfast? What am I supposed do with just 2? The virtual check in is cool but they are not that friendly. We asked for later check out they gave us 1 extra hour, we tried to booked an extra day but they asked for double of what we paid for one night, I would not pay that much to stay in this hotel. The lobby needs renovation.
- 5/5
Very clean room
- 2/5
Check in was prolonged , bedding was fair. Room fairly clean. Breakfast was fair.
- 5/5
It was a nice place
- 3/5
Room was clean, but very dated. Breakfast was not good, very limited selection with the smallest coffee cups ever. This motel is right in off the expressway so there is not much to do in the area at all. I would not stay here again. Very dated motel.
- 4/5
Only a couple of things I didn't like: the rock hard bed, and the high prices at the adjoining bar and grill.
- 3/5
Check in took along time. It was done on a screen in the lobby with a live person. We could not understand her or hear her, and we had to fill out mountains of paperwork
- 4/5
Except the restaurant was expensive and my hamburger was awful. Very loud music and slow service.
- 4/5
Pulling up I wasnt sure what I was walking into. There was a bit of a wait to check-in but the staff were nice. The room was very clean but you could hear a lot of noise outside. I made my way to the bar/restaurant for dinner which was pretty tasty and the waitress/bartender was very kind and efficient. It was very crowded and had a lot of activities posted though none were happening while I stayed. The air and heat were great and although I was a bit afraid I slept very well. I woke up the next day and used all of the amenities- the free breakfast was sufficient, and the breakfast staff were nice. I used the gym- but it only had three pieces of equipment that seemed to be on its last legs. I sat out by the pool and soaked up the last rays before going home. The free shuttle to the airport was icing on the cake. For a clean quick last minute stay it was fine!

Love Hotel.com it's such a gr8 app and wonderful prices and offers

The manager suggested we eat at the hotel restaurant, but by that point we wanted to leave the property for a bit because the interaction made us uncomfortable, and we did not want to spend more money at the hotel. The following day, while waiting for the bus to our cruise, the manager told jokes to the crowd. Several of the jokes felt inappropriate, especially given that small children were present. One joke referenced Peter Pan’s favorite place to eat being Wendy’s, and another referenced Viagra. Even as adults, we found the situation awkward and unprofessional. The continental breakfast was below expectations. The eggs were runny, the coffee was subpar, the waffles were decent, but the sausage resembled a rubber disk and was not enjoyable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The alarm clock did go off at 6:00 AM even though we had not set it. Overall, guests expect professionalism, comfort, and a welcoming environment when staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, due to repeated uncomfortable interactions and several quality issues, we would not choose to stay here again.
- 3/5
They took my reservation but did not keep my reservation. They sent me to a hotel next door and gave me a few perks.
- 5/5
Love it there always will go back
- 4/5
Room was clean, check in staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Check-In is kind of a mess but once you get past that the room in the hotel are very good. I slept incredibly well in the bed which is amazing for me in a hotel. The transportation was terrific and the guy who drives is a bit of a comedian. The breakfast was nice that it was included but it was lacking. Not as good as even at Hampton inn. But you have transportation to a cruise board or an airport. The bed was comfortable and who could ask for more

I love staying here
- 3/5
Restaurant on site ran out of several item on the menu on a Monday afternoon. Soft drinks are an off brand fountain and have off taste. Had 2 reservations for consecutive days & had to check out & in. That was okay except key wouldn’t work. Towels were not changed & trash not emptied when I was told it would happen.
- 3/5
The lobby has an odd and very strong "grandma freshener" smell. The attached restaurant was just fine and convenient. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated and was the best part about the room. We had a fire alarm go off randomly around midnight during our stay. This is just fine for a one-nighter before a cruise or a flight.
- 4/5
The breakfast room was very crowded and there were any tables to sit up. They were all take him. So we went outside, but those tables were all taken as well. We had to end up taking food back to the room. The usual offerings. Nothing that stood out, but it was adequate. I guess overall I would just say it’s close to the ships and airport other than that I just wouldn’t have stayed there. In the morning there were tons of cruise ship passengers, leaving on a booked bus. Apparently a guy on a loudspeaker was directing everyone, it was chaotic and annoying and extremely loud. The shuttle driver was very rude. I always, always tip. But I did not tip this guy. We ate dinner at the adjacent restaurant Marina 84. The food was good, but extremely slow service. Like beyond the pale. The server came by several times to apologize for taking so long, but still no food.

Staff was wonderful and room clean. Just the breakfast was not very good.

Room was clean and perfect for our stay before a cruise. Check in was easy and the shuttle service was great. The breakfast however, was very limited.

Needs a facelift! Front desk wasn’t that helpful
- 5/5
The room was clean, and the bar and restaurant is so nice. We had a very cozy visit.
- 4/5
Floor could've been swept.
- 2/5
Room was dirty, loud and bright. Staff was rude. Breakfast was ok, the free shuttle was good. Close to the airport.
- 3/5
It was fine but I think the rating is too high. More like a 6 or 7.
- 1/5
Never made it to the hotel as jad a trip to the ER instead but still charged me for the room. Wasted money
- 5/5
Good place before getting on cruise.
- 3/5
ok for a quick stay on the way to or from a cruise, but dated and in an industrial area... nothing is walkable.
- 3/5
Pick up at airport
- 3/5
Everything was average. Nothing stood out as exemplary.
- 1/5
Waited almost 2hrs for a shuttle pick up from airport to the roadway. Rooms were gross.. I felt like I was at boot camp. They start yelling in the a mega phone that is connected to outdoor speakers at 8:30 for port shuttles. The man yells to get out of his lobby. “No one waits in his lobby. Keep moving.” Then they bungee strap the shuttle door close and it gets pulled open while driving r

I have a good stay. Got a good price for the value
- 4/5
Check in was not a smooth process and took a long time. Room clean.
- 4/5
Older hotel but clean enough, great staff, restaurant on site, liquor store and convenience store on site, pool, excellent shuttle to cruise ship. Felt safe and good vibes overall. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Room was clean and nice

Our group of four adults chose this hotel due to the close location to Port Everglades. It is an okay place for a night or two. As others have stated the checkin process is very slow. Luckily there was no one in line when we arrived at 9:30pm however it still took 30 minutes. The checkin clerk would walk away to help another clerk or try to multitask by answering the phone. He was friendly and kept apologizing for delays. I felt so bad for the people who came in after us and had to stand in line. There is a kiosk to check in located in the lobby but if there was noise the virtual agent had troubles hearing and it didn’t seem to be any quicker. We travelled from outside of USA and didn’t bother with switching cell phone plans as we would have wifi on the cruise. The following day we asked a lady managing the line to please call us a taxi and she directed us to wait in the check in line. Luckily the fabulous Izzy (shuttle driver) helped us out twice during the day. There isn’t very much to do within walking distance of the hotel so be prepared to spend money on uber or taxi. The rooms themselves were just okay. Washrooms seem to be renovated, nice and clean. The breakfast offered eggs, sausages plus continental options-just okay. The shuttle to Port Everglades was pretty well organized. Izzy entertained the guests with jokes while we waited outside. Overall, I would stay here if you want to be close to Port Everglades and shuttle service is important to you.

Needed something for one night before a cruise. Excellent choice. Great price, clean, great shuttle service. Will book again
- 1/5
said they hthought i was Carolyn somebody and asked if I knew someone elso - a name i never heard of - they said I had to pay in cash to stay there - I said no - the front desk guy kept lying to me - asked me to leave !!
- 5/5
Everything was great. Restaurant and bar onsite wasgreat . Food was wonderful.
- 4/5
Besides this, the hotel was convenient and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Great value for the money. Very conveniently located close to airport and restaurant next door is a good option for eating instead of a bag of chips. Clean room. Shuttle service is great. Really good option for just overnight stay if you have to take a next morning flight or cruise.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Shuttle from airport was nice.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Clean Room, Shuttle Service excellent
- 4/5
Great and highly organized included shuttle to the cruise port
- 2/5
Place is old but has been revamped. Needs to be knocked down.
- 4/5
When you drive up, it looks old. But the sports bar gave us a great meal, the beds were awesome, the shower was great, things were clean, breakfast adequate, shuttles timely and well worth staying at this hote!
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was friendly.
- 1/5
Room wasn't properly cleaned. Insufficient seating for breakfast. Attendant suggested that we get food and take it back to our room, at which time it would be cold. Check in was a nightmare. We were told that early check in would cost an additional $30 then we were directed to an automated check in system that was extremely slow and we were charged $42. It took over 40 minutes to check in. Maintenance is lacking in the hotel.
- 1/5
Roadway is a terrible accommodation due to poor customer service and really long time checking in and hotel do not provide water bottle in rooms and no water bottle for sale after 7pm since they lock up the fridge where drinks are sold and next door restaurant bar did not have any water bottle for sale plus bartender had attitude when asked for cup to use for the water dispenser located in hallway. Will never recommend or stay at this hotel again
- 4/5
Pool was heated and clean. Room was clean. Kind of crazy port hotel. Had to wait a long time at the airport for pickup I scheduled.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very professional and helpful. Our room while older, was spotless with fresh linens and a renovated bathroom.
- 3/5
This place is OK for a one night stay before a cruise. Relatively clean, rooms were fine. Customer service was lacking. Lots of noise from the airport. Breakfast was not great, and expect them to have all the food put away at closing time to the second.
- 4/5
Spotless room...well maintained and fresh look. The bed was surprisingly comfy. The free shuttle to airport was wonderful.
- 4/5
Facilities very clean. Quirky fun decor. Very efficient shuttle service for airport and cruise port.

Check-in was awful. We had to use an automated like virtual check-in person and it took a very long time and there was no directions to how to get to our room so we’re walking around with all of our luggage and things just wandering around looking for this hotel room. The staff was not very helpful. However, I will say the next morning the staff was amazing, friendly helpful, polite, accommodating. It was a completely different perspective from check-in to check out. That’s why I rated them in the middle instead of a poor rating.
- 5/5
A very organized shuttle service between the hotel and the cruiseport that is free for guests. The rooms were good, and for a small fee, I was able to stay for the day when I got back from the cruise.
- 3/5
The rooms were OK, can see they had been updated since last time we stayed there. When we arrived in Fort Lauderdale, I had to call 3 times to get the shuttle service and it took an hour and 10 mins for it to arrive. We ended staying after our cruise too due to canceled flight and it took 50 mins to get picked up, some of the shuttles had come and gone twice before we got picked up. It's only a 5 mile drive from hotel to airport, so not impressed at all. When staying on return from cruise we had sat at the airport of 10 hrs and were looking forward to a meal, the restaurant to open but not the kitchen this was before 9 pm. So not real happy with the whole experience.
- 5/5
Great for traveling to the cruise port. Very well organized getting everyone on the shuttles and off to their destinations. We will book again based on how easy the transfer from the airport and cruise ports went.
- 4/5
The hotel is convenient when traveling on a cruise. The staff is very helpful and friendly
- 4/5
The rooms are always very clean. I have stayed here 5 or 6 times and will be back in February.
- 3/5
- 3/5
Very slow process
- 5/5
Everything you need. Most complete package in Fll
- 3/5
Everything was ok
- 5/5
We've stayed here sveral times. The rooms are clean, no frills, but clean. Air conditioning and heat have always worked as expected. The breakfast is good; begian waffles, donuts, bagels, sausage patties, cereal, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, ect. There a pub bar with; pool table, full bar, and good food. Izzy runs things and he is usually very busy, if he isnt tied up he will engage customers and is quite helpful and personable. They also have a gift shop with most anything a traveler may need, the hours are noon to 6pm I think. They offer a very efficient shuttle to and from the Ft. Lauderdale airport and the cruise port. If your cruise gets in early in the morning and your flight doesnt leave until that evening you can catch a shuttle back to them and get a room for the day (a day room). Theres not much to walk to from the hotel, with that said you can uber around Ft Lauderdale for around 15-20 bucks for most destinations. If you want to walk to resteraunts and the beach its not the place, they do have a shittle to the beach I believe. This is a great budget minded stay where we have always felt safe. I did forget to mention they have an outdoor pool with lounge cahirs and tables and chairs. If travel takes us to Ft. Lauderdale again we will most likely stay here again.
- 4/5
The rooms were ok. The check in time was way to long. I had 4 rooms to check in and it took 40 minutes. The shuttle service was great.
- 5/5
Food at local restaurant was so yummy. Loved the courtyard and grounds. Catching the shuttle was a bit challenging but worked out. Would stay again

We stayed at this motel for one night before our cruise, and the ratings seemed pretty good. I'm not sure where these people stayed! We also chose it because it had an airport and a shuttle to the cruise port. To begin, we had to wait over an hour at the airport for our pickup. This was hard with 10 people, including young children. When we finally arrived, it felt like checking into a jail, with all the plexiglass covering the front desk. I do have to say the front desk agent was wonderful and helped a lot, since we had three rooms. Beware, the motel is a long-stay property! Residents can't smoke in their rooms; however, they can sit on the air conditioners outside with their cats and smoke. The rooms weren't too bad and were clean. Stay away from the breakfast, or just have the cold items. Get there early, or you will have loud employees yelling a countdown to you to finish up and get out of the room. The shuttle to take us to the cruise port was over an hour late, and the owner just made excuses why it was not his fault and everyone else. When it finally came, we were crammed in, sitting on each other's laps. It's a good thing the port is close. As you can guess, we had quite the wait for the airport shuttle. They knew we had 10 people in our party. When it arrived, there were 4 seats. We again sat on laps. My husband and son-in-law stood up front. All the people already on the shuttle yelled, "Don't stand there, the door doesn't close!" Just don't stay here!!!
- 4/5
Shuttle from airport took 1 3/4 hours to arrive after I called. Check in took 20 minutes while at the counter. We had a reservation and they had all our information already. Rooms were clean but dated. The breakfast buffet had less selection than the last time we stayed.
- 5/5
clean room, old - school Florida fee. was nice
- 5/5
Yes the breakfast menu was fresh. Everyone was very nice. We always stay here when cruising. Very convenient.
- 5/5
The shuttles to where we need to go and quick service
- 3/5
I made the mistake of walking on the tile floor in bare feet, an hour in and the bottom of my feet were black. Always seems when you book through Expedia you get the least desirable room. We struck up conversations with a number of people that were also staying here, same category of room booked direct, nicer room, better location…. Haven’t ever experienced where when you are an hour or so early to check in they want to charge you $30.
- 5/5
What stood out to us was the customer service personnel. We arrived very early in the day and they were extremely helpful. Not only found us a room but also had us enjoy breakfast on them.
- 5/5
Shuttle service to and from the cruise ship.
- 4/5
Disorganized check in. Made reservation for pick up from airport. Waited 40 minutes to find no available seat. My husband, 66 years old, and I sat through back door of van on floor…. But glad we got there. Great breakfast but limited tables.for seating.
- 1/5
Check in was extremely slow & inefficient!! (Over 1 hour to check in)Virtual check in was horrible!! Get rid of it! Why make reservations ahead if they're not prepared when we get there?Shuttle drivers were very friendly! Restaurant closed before the stated time. We have stayed several times in the past and enjoyed it but we will not be staying again!
- 3/5
Good people but this is basically a motel. Very clean but check in was a bit chaotic. Free transport to the cruise terminal. Recommend for an overnight stay.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Unique old school set up
- 4/5
Clean room very friendly staff and decent breakfast
- 5/5
Xysed a virtual check in. Strange but quick.
- 1/5
It's not worth the MONEY
- 2/5
Staff and just not like the pictures at all. Looked very old and not a safe place to stay.
- 5/5
It was one of the best experiences, great service and very friendly staff, very clean
- 3/5
Beds were hard and each of the two beds had 4 pillows, but all very very hard. Shuttle from cruise pier to hotel was ridiculous...it was almost 2 hours to get picked up and taken to hotel (phoned hotel 3 times questioning about the wait).
- 2/5
Check in process was a pain, took too long
- 4/5
Bathroom was clean, beds were clean. For a 1 night stay it was good.
- 2/5
This was my first time staying at this property, the staff behind the desk were more interested in taking our money, instead of letting us know about their pool in the garden area. The "free" breakfast was just ok, the staff didn't seem too motivated to help, the usual dried up scrambled eggs and sausage patties, danish, muffins, make your own waffles. The room was clean and the restaurant attached to the hotel, but not owned by the hotel was very nice, attentive staff, great food! My Sister and I arrived two days prior to our cruise..we wanted to do some shopping and asked the woman behind the desk to call us a cab..well, this gypsy cab driver took my sister and I to the mall, which was seven miles away, he took us the long way, there was not a meter in his vehicle, and he charged us $ 80.00 for a one way trip!!!! Anyway, I am from NY, and he took advantage of two senior women. I reported him to the taxi commissioner, and when I return home, I will call this man and file a formal complaint. I would suggest that you go else where! I do not recommend this place and will never return!! SHAME ON THEM!!!! PS, they were to pick us up at the airport, we waited over an hour, we were told to be patient, we waited and waited in the hot sun, so we decided to get a taxi to the hotel. Terrible!!
- 5/5
An old-fashioned hotel that is well kept up. It was so quiet we overslept and missed the free shuttle to the cruise port!
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The room was fine. The staff was exceedingly slow as if they didn't want to be there.
- 2/5
room was ok but whole building needs a lot of updating, location was not nice
- 5/5
Location, shuttle from airport and to port, and price was great.
- 3/5
Room was clean. AC did not work well and it was loud.
- 1/5
We reserved 3 rooms. They checked us in to two rooms and when I sent my son to get his room checked in they charged him for another room. Then they tried to tell us we would get future credits. I said we don’t ever some here and to just give my son his money back. The lady rolled her eyes and said they would not do that. It caused us a lot of stress and I still don’t know what we were charged with. They said I was going to get money back but I haven’t seen a credit.
- 3/5
The check in takes a long time. Breakfast is average but not enough tables.
- 4/5
Had a small convenance store, restaurant, bar, pool, and transportation from Ft Lauderdale airport & to cruise ship. Very efficient operation. hotel shows signs of wear but clean. Staff was helpful and friendly in spite of being very busy. It seems like most, if not all are people are going to a cruise ship or coming from one.
- 3/5
Room was OK, the washroom was great, very large. Bed was OK. Check-in and Check out were slow. The sent that was in the main lobby was not pleasant. It was a sort of incense that bothered my lungs. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the outside sitting area. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Pick up at airport was fast and coinvent.
- 4/5
The room was spotless and the staff very efficient. As for the continental breakfast, lets just say it was ok.
- 5/5
Great service and got an early check in.
- 4/5
Great courtyard. Good breakfast, clean rooms, great staff!
- 4/5
The room was extremely clean, with everything you needed. The pool area was clean and staff helpful. The breakfast was basic but there were different options eg eggs, sausage, waffles.
- 4/5
Very clean
- 4/5
Everything was good ! I feel like Savannah should have a more outgoing attitude to make the customers feel
- 3/5
Having been here before and loved the hot breakfast. This time it was just bagels and cream cheese. I was shocked that they only serve a hot breakfast when the Motel is full. This place has little going for it except the free cruise shuttle and a very expensive bar/restaurant.
- 2/5
the shuttle bus coordinator was horrible.he was making rude jokes about seniors.how he has lasted 15yrs at his job with the rude comments is beyond me
- 5/5
breakfast was like everything else in the US - it appears that the hotel was trying to save a little money - the environment was clean but sparse of food and condiments and the quality was sub par normal. Rooms were clean neat but older. Staff at registration was new and helpful. Will pick another place to stay before boarding cruise ship. Transportation to and from ship was very good.
- 3/5
Price point is the main attribute. We booked 6 months in advance and paid half of what the nightly rate is currently. The complementary airport shuttle, complementary breakfast, and complimentary cruise port shuttle make up for the barebones accomodations.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room. Ideal location. And a free breakfast.
- 3/5
The lineups to check in were long. The staff at times ignored their clients. I received no direction to our room, wandered around for bout 10 minutes then had to seek out a staff member to show us the way. I did not receive a welcome letter from the clerk with pertinent information regarding Wi-Fi etc. The only saving grace was the team whom organized the shuttle to the cruise port. They were outstanding. So professionally organized in arranging passengers and with so my passengers they were just hopping, and efficient getting everyone onto the shuttles and off to the various ports on time….phenomenal
- 5/5
The room was clean, perfect for one day before cruise
- 3/5
Staff was great except check in agent who kept answering the phone effectively ignoring us. Took about 30 minutes for a 5 minute chore. Facility pretty run down. Breakfast was a joke. Good shushuttshuttle service.
- 4/5
Beds not the best, but clean
- 5/5
Room very clean, shuttle service excellence and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. This was our 3rd stay there, never disappointed.
- 4/5
Great to have a shuttle pick up at the airport and again to the ship port in the morning.
- 2/5
I would not stay at this hotel ever again. Customer service is a highly regarded part of service industry and this hotel fell very short of that.
- 3/5
Shuttle needs to be better driver should not be having people stand in the back of the vehicle when they pay for a seat
- 1/5
Showed up to check in after a full day of delayed flights. Arrived to the hotel around 2:00am to be told that their system went down and there was no way for them to check us in. They advised that they would give us a refund and to call around to find other rooms. We couldn’t find anything within a 20 mile radius. They finally advised that they would give us a refund and let us stay in our prepaid room if we were ok with waiting until 7;00am. I needed up waiting since we were stranded but I never received my refund. Once we checked in the room was not very clean. Sheets and comforters were stained and looked dirty. Impossible to sleep in with the shuttle guys screaming over the loud speaker first thing in the morning. Likely won’t be staying here again
- 5/5
Clean room, shuttle from airport and to cruise port.staff were pleasant and helpful.
- 2/5
Took a long time to get checked in. Long line ups!!
- 5/5
I thought this hotel was outstanding. They have a great airport and cruise shuttle. You can book a room for the day if you have a late flight out when your cruise ship returns. The staff did an outstanding job to help you in any way they could.
- 4/5
We've stayed here before, only complaint is ..check in, takes 20 minutes or more
- 3/5
Very slow check in process. But included shuttle was good value.
- 5/5
Great stay, perfect hotel for a quick stay.
- 1/5
I would avoid this place at all costs.
- 4/5
I appreciated shuttle from airport and to cruise port
- 1/5
The cruiseport shuttle was horrible. We waiting two and a half hours and was told it would be there in ten minutes. We had to take a uber. The lobby lied to us every time we called.
- 5/5
Room clean, and quiet, restaurant on premises, staff friendly, pool looked clean, but we did not go in the pool. It’s a great place to stay a day or two before you cruise. The bed was very comfortable. They gave us breakfast vouchers for breakfast and the breakfast was great. A lot to choose from. The only negative was we waited almost 2 hours at the airport for a hotel shuttle to bring us the hotel.
- 5/5
My room was spotless and the staffers were knowledgeable and helpful.
- 3/5
STAFF- specifically the airport shuttle driver! Extremely rude and condescending! Not to mention he did not enough seats for those in the van that he picked up so he had them STAND in the back of the van. Can we say against the law, not seat-belted in, not to mention dangerous! To be clear, the van tows a small trailer to keep the luggage in. The van itself has 3 rows of 3 seats with the last row having 4. Behind that last row there is a cargo area where you would put luggage but since they are in the trailer he had them stand in that area.
- 2/5
Waited for 1hr 11min for airport shuttle to pick us up. Poor service. Then we were told they were not shuttling guest anywhere during our stay.
- 1/5
Very slow check in process, terrible rooms, no major amenities. Basically slept and got out of room fast!
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. The shuttles worked out great. Good deal for pre-cruise night.
- 1/5
Check in. There were only 3 people in the line and it was close to an hour to get us checked in
- 4/5
The staff was kind, helpful. The hotel is older and so things aren’t quite as “nice “, but it was clean, A/C worked, the pool looked nice (I didnt use it). They offered shuttle to cruise port the next morning and also had from port to airport on last day of cruise for an additional charge, that was cheaper than cruise rate. So that was nice.
- 4/5
Room was comfortable and had good bar restaurants.
- 3/5
Hotel was to rushed. Had to wait over 2 hours for a shuttle to pick us up from the airport .
- 3/5
It took so long to check in. The ice machine didn't work neither did the soda machine. Both were unplugged. People were nice
- 5/5
We landed in Ft Lauderdale just after 11pm. After getting our checked bag we called the hotel to request pickup. We waited no more than 10 minutes before the shuttle arrived. Check in was easy and the room adequate for a short night of sleep.
- 5/5
The room is clean, modern, and comfy. The bed is excellent. Staff are great.
- 3/5
Room was decent staff was nice and gave us upgraded our room due to a delayed transit with shuttle service. I would stay again. Beautiful garden and live music at the bar
- 2/5
Was moved to a “sister” hotel with no advance notice and the place was a dump.
- 5/5
Stay from beginning to end could not have been better. Airport shuttle picked us up within an hour which and was nice, great check in process from a friendly employee who also explained how the next days shuttle process worked. Nice bar/restaurant attached to it that we were happy to see as we were hungry and wanted a drink. Room was very clean with your basic amenities, good shampoos/soap. Breakfast was also good. A step above continental. Pool was clean and there was a unique courtyard. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Called for shuttle pick up from FLL. After waiting for an hour called regarding the shuttle again. Informed the wait time is 45 minutes to an hour simultaneously the shuttle approached and proceeded to drive by the pickup point. Called back and was greeted with condescension regarding my exasperation for waiting and being passed by. Took a taxi because shuttle was unreliable arrived at 1:30 pm for a 3:00 pm check in and was offered an early check in for $30.00. No thanks. Unreliable shuttle and poor customer service.
- 3/5
Check in process was a headache. Staff member was also very rude in the lobby yelling and telling everyone to stand on the stickers on the floor. I’m sure this is to prevent over crowding at the desk; however there is a pleasant way to do this.
- 2/5
Check in was extremely slow!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and check in easy.
- 3/5
Room was decent, but the air conditioner was so loud I barely slept. The breakfast was inedible and it was beyond crowded and chaotic in the breakfast area. Don't book if you're counting on the breakfast being good.
- 3/5
Staff could you some training as they come off sounding like we are all stupid and it seems quite rude.
- 4/5
We have stayed here twice the nights before our cruise. There really isn’t any nearby shopping areas, but we got in later so that wasn’t that big of an issue. Both times though, it took FOREVER to check in. It seems to be an extremely slow process. I don’t know what they can do with their computer systems to speed it up, but it literally takes 20 mins just to check in. And we had already prepaid and scheduled our morning cruise shuttle before we checked in. I’m sure we will stay again, but you really need to go in knowing that check in takes forever.
- 5/5
Room was clean
- 4/5
I appreciated the airport pick up and the shuttle to the cruise port. Breakfast was included and it was a very good selection. The only downside was the check in time. Since we all arrived via shuttle, the line was very slow moving
- 1/5
Front desk staff was great, and helpful. Just over worked.
- 5/5
Staff was well informed about what we needed to do to get to our next destination.
- 5/5
Good value for the cost.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the washroom was big and updated. We will surely book this hotel once again because of their free breakfast and shuttle services. You don’t have to worry about transportation to and from the airport and most importantly they also provide shuttle to the cruise port!
- 5/5
Value
- 1/5
We waited in line to check in for an hour and a half. Then it took 20 minutes to actually check in. The free shuttle was not available when we needed it. Breakfast was chaos.
- 2/5
It took an hour to get our room for no reason whatsoever. The staff were rude to the people in front of me as we waited in line, and then they charged us more money than our prepaid agreement. Also the front entrance is atrocious and made us very confused if we were in the right place. Also I didnt realize it but they almost exclusively cater to next day cruisers and were annoying and very loudly announcing constantly over a booming intercom.
- 5/5
Very Friendly staff!!!
- 4/5
We have stayed here many times. Always clean and efficient.
- 1/5
They gave us a room next to where they were doing construction on other rooms, had to listen to saws and drilling til about 7pm and started bright and early around 7am. Also our TV stopped working that night, thankfully was only there for one night.
- 1/5
Shuttle from cruise port to airport not reliable. Received a text that our shuttle would arrive at cruise port at 8:30 am - Great. But at 8:45 no shuttle. I called hotel after put on hold told that shuttle on its way. 9:10 shuttle arrived but it could not hold all who were waiting and we were told it was only going back to hotel not to airport. Called hotel again to be forwarded to a voicemail. Never did get our ‘paid for’ shuttle, we had to take an Uber. I will not rely on Rodeway shuttle again.
- 5/5
Airport shuttle easy to find. Wait time less than 15 minutes. Breakfast lots of variety and well stocked. Staff friendly. Great stay
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
Staff were somewhat rude - not at all friendly. The restaurant on site lacks all forms of customer service. We waited over an hour for food. Service for shuttle was available- however we didn’t get one until 1 1/2 hours past our scheduled time. Shuttle staff picked preferred customers to board shuttle.
- 2/5
The bed was clean, the floor was dirty, the safe didn’t work and worst of all the wifi doesn’t work. I have never been to a hotel where wifi doesn’t work
- 5/5
Nice hotel, clean, updated. Great shuttle service from airport and to the cruise port. We would stay here again
- 3/5
The free shuttle was misleading. The constant loud announcements were irritating.
- 5/5
Staff ready to help
- 5/5
Great room, restaurant too
- 5/5
Simple but clean, quiet. Looks like it would be great for kids too.
- 5/5
Was very attentive to us and helping with us to get to the port for our cruise. Also let us check in early
- 5/5
Not many breakfast options but complimentary shuttles were amazing. Greeter was hilarious.
- 3/5
Did not have the breakfast due to time, shuttle was easy to catch. Room had been updated and remodeled but the new had been put over the old and the room and bathroom smelled old and moldy. Hallways were noisy with people and all hours of night and day. Otherwise, restaurant was great and staff was excellent. Not bad for just a one night layover.
- 1/5
Rude staff
- 5/5
Great restaurant. Complementary breakfast was really good .
- 5/5
Nice size room, ample breakfast, free shuttle to cruise ship.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean. And the staff is more than efficient at getting everyone to where they need to be whether it be the airport or the cruise ports.
- 3/5
I only gave the staff a 3 bcuz one staff I encountered twice was rude like I bothered her. Everyone else I encountered was super nice especially the guy organizing the cruise shuttle. They had the best coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel and they offered flavored creamer which was a bonus. I had emailed prior to my stay to inquire about the shuttle service and received a response but important info was left out, the “free” shuttle to the port is only 10am & 11am there’s additional fee for any other time. Would’ve been nice to know that but it all worked out and was allowed on the ship early. Bed was comfy, quiet at night for the most part, restaurant on site convenient but limited options.
- 5/5
Room was spot clean and staff very
- 1/5
The clerk at the desk was rude. She wore some type of audio headset and was constantly talking into that . Multiple times I said are you speaking to me or talking in that headset. We waited over an hour for the shuttle. The lobby was chaotic with people all over the place.
- 4/5
Good shuttle
- 5/5
Everything was pretty good
- 5/5
Clean room and convenient location to the airport and cruise dock. The included shuttle to and from FLL and the cruise port are great perks not offered by many of the other hotels in the area. Highly recommended!
- 4/5
Comfortable and good service
- 5/5
The room was great, very friendly staff. Our car wasn't bothered while it was parked in the secure area while we were on a cruise. We'll definitely stay again.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The breakfast menu was fresh and the shuttle to the cruise port was easy to access
- 3/5
Service is subpar. Check in I could barely hear the woman she wasn't speaking in the mic. Shuttles were great. Gift shop, alcohol options were good.
- 3/5
A/C didn't seem to be working properly and was loud. Front desk person was ok. Didn't seem like she cared.
- 3/5
Room was better than expected. Overall it's great for connection between airport and cruise terminal. It was great to have a big bus to the terminal, but on the way back it was small shuttle bus so people had to stand. Pool is really nice. Great alcohol options and gift shop.
- 4/5
Very good cruise shuttle, well organized. Only problem is that you can see outside around the door.
- 5/5
Loved the funky retro vibe of this inn. Room was very clean. Free shuttle to the cruise port, onsite we were able to purchase wine to take on board the ship, nicely stocked gift shop, nice buffet breakfast and a sports bar was attached to the inn. And it had really good food! They definitely cater to cruisers. I highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Close to the sea port and FLL
- 4/5
This is a great basic hotel with free breakfast & free shuttle to/from airport and the cruise port. They have an excellent system for getting people to the port. It was the easiest and less stressful option I've done. I am now more motivated to take cruises out of Ft Lauderdale / Port Everglades and definitely staying here again, simply because they made it so much less stressful.
- 4/5
TV badly needed replacing. Comfortable beds.
- 3/5
The only issue we had was getting the correct number for the shuttle from the airport. We were given several numbers and finally one of them was correct. The number on the itinerary was not correct. Otherwise the check in and room was great!
- 5/5
Well appointed stop over hotel if you need to get on a plane or a boat. All your needs covered. And a nice sports bar restaurant with really good food to boot
- 4/5
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Bad breakfast with minimal and overcrowded seating which was in a messy dining room
- 4/5
It’s an older hotel, a bit dated with low ceilings and some things that could use an update. We only stayed a night waiting for a cruise. Great for that, not sure for extended stays. Pool area was actually very nice and the shuttle service from the airport and cruise terminal was very convenient.
- 3/5
Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean. Staff tries to upcharge shuttle costs.
- 5/5
Courteous staff
- 4/5
Everything was clean and well stoked. The people were very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Clean, pool is great, amenities are plentiful.
- 5/5
Staff very nice and willing to do every thing to make the group comfortable 20 people
- 2/5
Breakfast was ok, typical continental you do have to turn in little tickets. The pictures online are not true, this is definitely a budget hotel. When we asked to move rooms because the smell was just too strong and causing our son’s allergies to go crazy the supervisor (whom the front desk agent had to call over the phone) kept insisting on a refund and telling us to leave. We also never got our deposit back. She said we needed to email her on how we wanted it returned like huh?!?!? Anyways definitely won’t be staying here again.
- 4/5
clean room , staff was good a bit slow on check in seemed like old fashioned paperwork compared to today’s zip zip your in, food was good in the restaurant and of course shuttle service was good
- 5/5
A fantastic place to stay prior to our family cruise. Shuttle bus from airport and to cruise port was an additional benefit.
- 5/5
Very slow checking in, however, staff was very helpful. Used airport shuttle (must call) and used cruise shuttle...both appreciated. Breakfast was typical but place very clean. Did not use pool but many did. Only downside was only place to eat dinner was next door to Inn and that's just bar food.
- 5/5
The shuttle was wonderful and efficient. As we just got off a cruise was pleasantly surprised to be offered a day room rate to relax before our early flight home.
- 5/5
Will stay there again .
- 5/5
Room very nice and clean
- 4/5
Average location. Outdated for sure, the shuttle from the airport had doors that didn't close. Calling in to get picked up is chaos because the sound quality is terrible and you are on speaker so you hear everything. Price wise I would use it again but I'd lower my expectations accordingly.
- 5/5
The airport and cruise port shuttle was what drew me to book. Nice, comfortable and clean room. Good waffles for breakfast. Hotel restaurant was good and had live music. They were out of a lot of dishes on the menu and the wait for food was long but everything was tasty.
- 4/5
Fine stop off before going on our cruise
- 4/5
We stayed one night before our cruise. The hotel is very geared for this. The airport and cruise terminal shuttle was smooth especially considering the number of people they transport. It was great that they sell wine by the bottle which was nice as we could bring a bottle per person on our cruise. Breakfast was just okay only because it was very crowded. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Good value for services offered and location. It’s ideal for pre and post hotel stays going to or coming from a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. They offer shuttle service to and from airport and to cruise terminal, fees included, they have a bar/ restaurant on site with tasty food and efficient check in and check ou
- 4/5
Airport shuttle was quick and easy. Rooms are basic but clean.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but weathered. The door lock assembly was loose. Called the front desk to report it. Maintenance came swiftly and repaired it.
- 4/5
Why is there a bathtub in the room with the bed? Why does the faucet not meet the sink? Very weird place. If you use the faucet, water goes on the countertop
- 5/5
Easy to shuttle to the port
- 2/5
The facility is old and dated, they have to hide the odour of the building with air sent fresheners which make the problem even worse. We arrived after our flight at 11:50 am, check in is not until 3:00 pm. We were advised that rooms are not ready yet, But if you pay an additional $35.00 we will magically find you a room that is ready. This is strictly a cash grab by the management of the property. I have been a FOM and a General Manager of a hotel for years and would never place my guests in the position of waiting for 3 hour to check in. As housekeeping clears the room we check in the guest that is waiting. Our room was clean but had an old musty smell to it. I would not recommend this property, and will advise my travel agent to make note for her future travellers.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Front desk was friendly. Exactly what I needed. Airport shuttle is a bonus. Great breakfast included! Love the waffle station!
- 2/5
Yes
- 3/5
The property was run down and debilitated. Rooms were clean but damaged. We didnt even have proper curtains.
- 4/5
I just don’t like certain things but overall was coo.. the a/c wasn’t working good my room was hot mostly
- 3/5
The shuttle service was excellent
- 4/5
Clean and had lots of extras including free shuttle
- 4/5
Good breakfast. Large rooms. Nice surroundings pool. Restaurant on site
- 3/5
AC noise is loud. Room is comfortable.
- 5/5
We liked the convenience of being close too the cruise port and their shuttle picking us up ! The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Everyone was super nice ! Would definitely stay there again !
- 4/5
for the one night stay was good , i would stay again for a longer time.
- 4/5
easy transportation
- 4/5
Good Continental breakfast. Restaurant on site. Free parking.
- 3/5
The room was fine for what we needed. It was a bit dirty and the fridge didn’t work. The aircon was so noisy it was hard to sleep. Breakfast could have been better. Bar next door was good for a drink.
- 1/5
Waited over an hour for the shuttle when told it would be 15 minutes. Check in was a nightmare and took another 40 minutes. The breakfast was subpar. The only good thing was the food at the restaurant but had to sit in the outside dining area due to the volume inside
- 4/5
The hotel has a restaurant/bar, and people come from the outside to watch sports, etc. It also has a nice, interior yard to hang out and take pictures. This hotel is super convenient for people going on a cruise or to the airport in Fort Lauderdale. It has plenty of shuttle buses to either location. And the breakfast every morning is great, which includes eggs, sausage patties, and juices.
- 5/5
Todo muy limpio, el personal muy amable y dispuestos ayudar. El recibimiento fue muy agradable y ya es la segunda vez que me hospedó con familia y amigos
- 5/5
We have stayed at other FL hotels pre-cruise and this was the best! Shuttle came early, a long line to check in, but restaurant and bar on site, store, and free shuttle to cruiseport if you go early. The gentleman that checked us in was awesome!
- 5/5
Convenient to get the shuttle to the hotel and to the cruise port. Rooms were clean and staff were accommodating.
- 5/5
Shuttles are very convenient. The restaurant was excellent.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
I like Robert and his nature. He was awesome.

Horrible experience
- 1/5
Horrible customer service
- 3/5
Sappinos was reccomended for good pizza, and i totally agree. Delivered to your door and super good after a busy day. There is no where to walk. Its located on a busy road. There is a bar/restaurant on premmises but we didnt try it. I read a lot of reviews that were very bad and thought about cancelling. I didnt feel unsafe and the room was not dirty like others mentioned. The door on one of my rooms didnt lock but the deadbolt and latch did so it wasnt a huge deal. I also noticed one of my bathroom doors was not on track correctly, but honestly did not care. Breakfast was a basic waffle, cereal, and bread selection. The pog juice was so good though!
- 4/5
We would stay there again.
- 2/5
It took over 45 minutes to check-in and was only 2 people in front of me.
- 4/5
Average hotel, we appreciated the complementary shuttle to the cruise port.
- 4/5
We booked and paid for a pick up for our return to the airport from the cruise port and they assured us they will be there at 8:15am to pick us up. We hurried ourselves to get there on time as we did have a later flight however they told us 8:15am would be our only option for pick up…they did not show and only after a call to remind them did they come for us. It all worked out, but it did create some anxiety and we didn’t have breakfast on the ship before departure. They seem to not be very organized. Overall it was a decent stay for what it was and we would be okay with staying again.
- 4/5
They had a nice gift shop and attached restaurant.
- 4/5
The staff was really kind. At continental breakfast, the staff was very present and helped my wife and I. It was one night stay but it was really enjoyable. I would recommend Rodeway Inn & Suites to family and friends. Parking was easy and they offer transportation to port of Miami for cruises and to the airport.
- 3/5
The property is decent for the price. All but one staff person was nice. Check in person was horrible. All in all we would stay again.
- 3/5
The transportation from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the cruise port was great. However, the staff was not very friendly. The breakfast was okay at best, and our toilet did not work initially. It was convenient however, and that’s why it earned 4 stars.
- 5/5
service was verry good and friendly and patient
- 2/5
You could hear every airplane take off, the bed wasn’t even a mattress on a metal bed wire frame.
- 5/5
Muy rapidos y atentos
- 3/5
Good for an over night
- 4/5
Close to airport and cruise terminal
- 3/5
Ok not great but enjoyed the pool area. Restaurant was blah.
- 3/5
The room smells like dirty mop, too many outside people using the pool, and no breakfast able on Sunday, Love the restaurant next door.
- 1/5
Horrible staff and experience
- 4/5
Good place for one night when you are heading for a cruise. The little shop was nice as we had forgotten a few things and they had a lot in the small space. Breakfast was ok but the loud speaker was horrible. Also the shuttle costs extra and fills up quick. I’m glad we brought car seats because we had to take an uber.
- 5/5
Everything was good clean and staff was excellent
- 5/5
Absolutely will be there again. Best place in FLL so far. Very affordable. Breakfast is same thing everyday but at least they feed you.
- 1/5
I recently stayed at your hotel Holiday Inn Express with my family, and our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon entering our room, we were greeted by the unpleasant sight of a dead roach on the bathroom floor. As if that wasn't bad enough, we soon discovered another roach on the ceiling. Naturally, I reached out to customer service for immediate assistance. They assured me that someone would be sent to help, but after waiting over 30 minutes, our calls were ignored, and no one arrived. Desperate for assistance, I approached a cleaning lady in the hallway and asked for her help with the roach on the ceiling. Despite her best efforts, it was clear she lacked the proper tools or authority to handle the situation. Eventually, someone from the staff arrived, but all they brought was a bottle of spray. I explained that spraying the roach was not a viable solution, especially since we were not offered another room. With tired family members and ten pieces of luggage, moving to a different hotel and arranging another Uber was not feasible for us, especially given our short stay of less than 12 hours. As if the evening's ordeal wasn't enough, I woke up at 3 a.m. the next morning to find roaches not only in the bathroom but also crawling on the floor and even on the lamp. This was the final straw, confirming that the hotel had a serious pest problem that was not being adequately addressed. The lack of responsiveness and inadequate handling.
- 5/5
The shuttle service was great. The driver was safe and friendly. The property has a restaurant, bar, live music when we were there, a pool, and a small shop. We didn’t expect all of this and really liked it. We would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area especially if looking for a place before or after a cruise with shuttle service.
- 5/5
I’d recommend
- 5/5
I likes the onsite restaurant, sports bar and live entertainment. Transportation to/from airport and cruise terminal is free and very easy to use
- 5/5
Only down fall of the location is food is not available at walking distance after hours. I missed a late connecting flight and was hungry this is at no fault of the hotel tho.
- 1/5
Shuttle driver was extremely rude.
- 5/5
The staff was really helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Everything was nice and clean.
- 1/5
Property is old and very run down in need of Lots of work the only good thing the beds were High and with no spreads so you could easily see if there were mice under the bed
- 5/5
Very good hotel especially for the price. Clean. Room is small but adequate. Beds were good. Bathroom was excellent. Nice shower. Has a safe and fridge, which was nice. Transportation from airport was very good and free shuttle to the port. They even arrange transportation from the port back to the airport for a decent fee. People who worked there were very nice. Breakfast was above average with scambled eggs, sausage and waffle along with the other usual hotel breakfast items. On site restaurant was excellent with really good food for a decent price. Shout out on the fish tacos! Would definitely stay at Rodeway again.
- 5/5
Very convenient location to Port Everglades
- 5/5
This was the cutest place to stay before our cruise. On site bar/restaurant and breakfast was great. So convenient. Has great phito opportunities and a free shuttle to the port.
- 1/5
Plus the breakfast was really bad.
- 2/5
We stayed at this hotel the night before we left for our cruise. The hotel was ok. Not good or great. But ok. On the morning we checked out my husband had the eggs and sausage at the breakfast. He then spent the next 4 days of our cruise with food poisoning from that breakfast.
- 4/5
Nice motel for the price. Could use some updating but not terrible. Has a fun bar attached and the food is good although a little pricey. Pool is small but clean. I wouldn’t recommend going here for a vacation but I would definitely stay for a night or two if on my way to somewhere else. Staff was accommodating and helpful
- 5/5
Overall very clean and accessible hotel.
- 5/5
Very convenient for the airport and going on a cruise. Nice rooms.
- 4/5
Really enjoyed the showers
- 4/5
Check in process took way to long almost 40 minutes
- 4/5
The property is not a nice hotel. If you’re looking for a place to sleep the night before your cruise or airline flight and cheap this is it. But the staff are unfriendly and the decoration of the property is mediocre.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Bar and restaurant
- 3/5
We were almost unable to get breakfast due to complete overcrowding of the breakfast area on Sat morning before the cruise. There was no seating which was fine because we can eat in our room, but the man "directing traffic" had lines every which way and we could not access the majority of food due to other guests. On our return, we paid for a "day stay" to get into our room early and still waited an extended period of time to get into an available room. With two cranky toddlers, this was less than ideal and not what we paid for. Overall, the place was clean. The floor on our first night was very dirty. Turned our feet black. It was after 11pm when we arrived so we were pretty desperate to just get sleep to request a new room. However, the second night and every other part of the hotel was clean. The attached restaurant was good for lunch and had great food.
- 1/5
The place was absolutely disgusting. You walk in the staff is behind bulletproof glass because you have a bunch of drunks
