    More like a motel class and the hotel and room were pretty aged. Hardly saw any staff smiling throughout the stay. The only good thing was the price paid for and proximity to FLL airport and the cruise port shuttle.

    The staff was amazing. The room smelled heavily of bleach, which we later realized was the sheets, it was VERY STRONG. The bathroom was not clean, public hair in the shower and the shower head was gross. The water also only got lukewarm warm. The floor throughout the room was also dirty. Had we not been so exhausted we would have left. The only saving grace was the friendly staff.

    The location was easy to get to and priced well. The staff do not greet you nor make eye contact when you walk in which does not bother me but might bother some. The room was clean and tidy but my only complaint is that it's humid. All of my clothing and shoes were damp. I'm not sure what can be done if anything (it is South Fl after all) however, it's annoying.

    Comfortable stay for a few nights before a cruise (used twice in the past with my hubby) and then recently due to my husband was hospitalized and unfortunately passed away after a cruise. Staff was friendly (I wish I would have gotten the lady’s name at the desk with the glasses she was so kind to my uncle and I) we were there for a whole week, and they were kind enough to easily extend our stay and let us keep the same room. My uncle became fast friends with the lady that makes the food in the air fryer at the little cafe lol…he visited her daily ( he thanks her for getting his diet sprite). It’s not a luxury resort but the beds are comfy and suited our needs. Close to Broward County Medical Hospital. And less than 5 mins from the best diner!! We went to the swap meet/flea market one day and included an indoor Ferrari Museum, lots of vendors. Can’t beat the price for ice cold AC, free port shuttles, restaurant right next door, food truck on site and a pool.

    The deposit for out of state is $50, the deposit for locals is $200. WiFi speed is decent for work video calls. Floor was wet when I arrived. Other than that everything was great.

    This hotel is a bit older, but it is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.     The property is currently under construction, but the room and lobby areas are clean. The staff were quick to acknowledge that I entered the lobby.     The most serious concern was the growing black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and that the room was so wet with moisture the floor was slippery. The front desk attendant at check-out could not provide any customer service: no receipt, no confirmation of payment, nothing. The employee was rude and inconsistent, not wanting to be bothered by my requests.

    The staff was very helpful, the front desk the shuttle driver very helpful and excellent customer service. However the actual facility was not nice at all. Very old motel style. They had a room to purchase food, drinks and toiletries that was very makeshift. Not well maintained. I definitely wouldn’t stay here or recommend. The good thing for us we just needed a day stay between cruising and our flight.

    Overall, my stay at Red Carpet Inn went well. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and most of the staff were polite and helpful. The only issue I experienced was with one front desk employee who was a bit out of line and unprofessional during an interaction. Aside from that situation, everything else during my stay was smooth and comfortable.

    I didn't like that I had moved on to rooms and the l microwaves were not clean, had to clean microwave and toilet myself, tub and sink didn't drain properly, gnats flying every minute from the sink draining area, some toilets were not clean and had dried piss under the seat, and hair was stuck on the shower curtain in one of the rooms I moved into, house keepers walk on on you while you are trying to get to the door so I start locking my door, if you take seconds to long to get to the door and they constantly knock until you answer the door instead of waiting, staff at front desk is very rude, they see you standing and waiting but want say how may I help you, and they also have an attitude as well when you don't understand what they are explaining

    The property was good for a quick night stay near the airport. Had a connecting flight the next day so needed a place to just rest and then leave to the airport early morning. They do not have breakfast. The pool was closed. I think they are fixing the pool. The rooms are well kept. Staff who checked us in was nice too.

    I can’t think of anything. The front desk clerk was on a personal phone call the entire time I was trying to check in. The pool was closed. My room location was next to a semi truck parking lot and trucks are loud. Truck drivers talking loudly outside my room early in the mornings were very easy to hear and woke me up both days. The housekeeping carts were loud and easily heard when they rolled by my room. The housekeepers' radios were loud amd easily heard in my room. There was no (do not disturb) sign for my door, the housekeeper did not speak English and entered my room after I tried to ask her not to do so. There was construction noise from 9 to 5 both days preventing me from being able to nap. I could probably keep going, but I’m sure my point has been made.

    But this hotel because the convenience of getting to and from the Miami Court we'll say very good staff whom was clean the only problem is they have a pool it seems like it's never working it's too hot out here for them not to have the pool open and got the pool looks like nothing is wrong with it nice clear blue water but they telling us in signs all over the hotel that it's not in Houston till May 28th they got to do better on that one.

The blankets on the bed felt like paper hospital blankets. Didn't have the normal things you would usually see in a hotel like at least a bottle of water and maybe a coffee maker.     It's probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed. There are no windows that you can open. You can't even pull the curtain aside because people walking in the hallway see you. It's like prison. The room smelled mold. The hotel smells marijuana and it's not allowed but I guess they don't care about it. The room was very dirty. The hotel needs a big renovation. There's water dripping from the upper floors when you're walking in the hallway. Housekeeping staff needs to be changed completely. They're doing a terrible job. Housekeeping manager also needs to be replaced with an experienced manager. This hotel obviously hires cheap labor. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Find a nicer and safer hotel. This hotel is in a bad area. There were fights during the night. I didn't feel safe or clean at all.

The pool is out of commission for the rest of the month so we didn't get to go in the pool. They have a little convenience store with breakfast foods and alcohol but it was closed.     It's kind of a motel run in the name of a hotel. Ground floor rooms does not have proper ventilation and always stay the floor wet some reason . Always feels sticky on the floor . Floor1 and above are decent with carpet but very small rooms and bath room is too small . Outside is very dirty and well maintained inside the room and lock the door you may be ok. It's just cheap I guess so it gets a lot of crowd .

    Nice place for a good price! Near to the airport and deliveries what one need prior to board on a plain. I really believe that there should be no shower with curtains nowadays! I mean, we are 2026 for God sake. Also, we had over 5 suitcases and a baby. We arrived around 11 pm with all of that, they had the luggage cart and none of the staff have even offered to help during the check in.

    To make matters worse, I woke up with bug bites all over my body that appear to be bed bug bites. The room also had a foul odor coming from the vents, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.     The staff are very rude, they knock, I yell just a minute loud enough so they can hear me and they still burst into my room as I'm trying to get dressed to answer the door. The room floor was not swept or mopped well. The Tub looks like it has not been scrubbed, just sprayed and wiped. The shower was dirty as well. There was dried up piss under the toilet seat and the toilet was very dusty. I had to clean my own room. The microwave was smelly as well. The staff does not listen to see if someone is in the room, they just knock and walk in which is unacceptable.

    Worse experience I ever had at any business. On the reservation my name was listed as “Doug” and on my drivers license it is “Douglas”. The staff member behind the desk (Tiana) would not let us check in until I contacted cheap tickets and had them email another reservation with the name change she demanded. I always go by Doug and at the age of 71 have never had this issue. She was the most rude, dismissive, and unhelpful hotel/motel staff member I’ve ever run across. It took well over 45 minutes to check in. You can imagine the long line of customers (angry) waiting behind us as this debacle unfolded; all having just flowen into Ft. Lauderale and just wanting to get to their room. Stay away from REDCARPET INN AIRPORT AND CRUISE PORT HOTEL FORT LAUDERDALE!

    Got a little bit frustrated upon arrival and check in. When I made the reservation, I used David and Mike for the 2 rooms. Upon arrival, the front desk asked for ID and would not check in Mike because his name on his ID is Michael. I had to call Hotel.com and get them to change the name on the reservation to Michael in order for us to check in. This is the first time in 50 years of traveling that this happened. Maybe you should alert future guests of the requirement that the name on ID must exactly match reservation, so they are not delayed at check in.

    You get what you pay for I guess. The room was not great - just a place to sleep for the night. It felt dirty. Floors were sticky and the sheets smelled like bleach. Would not stay there again. Couldn’t use property since pool was closed for repair. The motor on the A/C was so loud it felt like we were in a truck. Also, we were to have complimentary shuttle service to the port. Our checkin in time for the ship was 12 noon, but they said nothing was available to accommodate that time. The best they could do was a 1:30 shuttle- we ended up paying for an Uber. We’ll never again.

    The room was comfortable The immediate neighborhood around the motel is not residential or commercial. The only nearby outside business is a competing motel with fair to poor food (2 meal experiences). I didn't patronize the on-site small convivence store. The nearest shopping center is 1.5 miles away. If you don't have a car, a taxi is your only option besides walking to some food-wagon vendors about .75 miles away.

    The lobby was deceptively nice. If you found the 1 good front staff member like we did our first night you will be very fortunate but don’t get your hopes up for getting that again. Room stink, was very old. Property in failing health. Beds were warped and uncomfortable. We needed to put pillows from the second bed between the mattress and frame to loft the head up to an even level. Wi fi was good, pool was nice. They had a little kitchen which was nice and free coffee. The shuttle services were very good but honestly that is what you are paying for. When we came back from our cruise we had a king room that had a comfortable bed and a new vanity but the room was filthy. Bedroom door litterally had black wear marks and thick dust. I had put on brand new white socks and they were black after a couple of hours. The rooms smell horrible, the second one was moldy. We had a 5 star experience on our cruis and came back to a 1 star hotel. Do NOT recommend

    There is no sound proofing at all in the rooms. I could hear people taking, moving suitcases, etc. throughout the night. The lobby was always beyond packed with people waiting to check in or out. The only free thing, coffee, was unavailable and no one seemed to know how to fix it. I was lucky and only waited 5 minutes for the shuttle but the gentlemen in the shuttle with me waited an hour! Pool needed skimmed so one of the guests ended up doing it herself. I wish I would have booked a Hilton!

    Very disappointed that when I called for a free pick up at the airport, no one would answer the phone. I called 3 times and my husband called as well and it just kept ringing. Paid got a taxi to take me to my car.

    It was ‘ok’/very basic… we had asked for a room with a bathtub and were told that that is what we had as close as the day before our stay… We did not get a bathtub!! we were told there was no restaurant that you could walk to nearby when in fact, there was one!!! we had asked for a room in a quiet area, and I had called the day before to make sure that was in the notes and it was… However, they put us next to the room where you can get little things to eat and drink, and it was extremely noisy… It was also right by the pool and by the stairs and the elevator so there was lot of echoing… We did get a few hours of sleep, but there were most definitely things misconstrued

    Old hotel with some upgrades. Staff was nice at check in and checkout. It’s in a busy area so it’s not the quietest place you can stay. Room was pretty clean except for an artificial nail laying on the dresser. Room is spacious. The coffee in the lobby barely passes as the weakest coffee I’ve ever drank.

    Let's start by saying it smells like mildew. Anything metal was rusted (lamp by the bed) for example. There is NOTHING to eat. No vending machines no store nearby. The next morning we walked a mile to a gas station to get some food before our shuttle to the port. We had to door dash a sandwich to get two bottles of water at midnight.

    Staff was fine, but the room had mold forming all around the ceiling which was gross. Smelled funny too. Bed was comfy though. Breakfast was disgusting. They used a tiny room, it's a father and son making powdered eggs. No coffee, place was just a mess. I wouldn't stay here again, and i wouldn't waste money on the poor excuse for a Breakfast.

    Our room was very clean. Building was in good shape. Pool wasn't heated but it was clean. Free airport and cruise terminal transfers was a nice perk and very easy to arrange. The only downside is there's really nowhere to eat within walking distance except for a Racetrack gas station which did have a wide selection of hot food including pretty good pizza at a good price.

    Lights in the room where disconnected, I had to use the phone flashlight in order to get in and fix them, there was no hot water at all. AC was turned off and room was hot when I got there. When I placed the reservation it was indicated that there was a shuttle service from airport to the hotel which is one of the reasons I choose that hotel, after the reservation was completed it was indicated that there’s a time-slot for requesting the shuttle and I arrived pass that time which I forced me to pay a taxi to get there, breakfast area opens only after 8am which didn’t worked for me either

    The airport shuttle wait was over 2 and half hours. When I called they said it would be 45 min to an hour. They said it might be sooner. They took my name and number. I called after an hour and half. They told me the shuttle got stuck at the cruise port. Wish they would have called me when they knew the time frame. The time they gave me wasn't even close.

    Nice staff, clean room, well run small store to get some food and drinks made it a good start to the holiday. It was nothing special but more than adequate for us . Getting a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and the same from the hotel to the cruise port worked. We waited quite a while but so did everyone trying to get a hotel shuttle at the airport. Washer didn’t spin the water out hardly at all but the machine walked across the room and the dryers didn’t dry. All in all it wasn’t a bad stay. Bed was comfy and towels were soft. Room was clean.

    An absolutely huge upgrade from the past couple years actually the rooms were clean. The bedding was brand new and they actually serve breakfast again thank God, the air conditioner, and the air conditioner was fabulous.
