    The room was spacious and the balcony had an excellent view. Only thing I can say, the rooms needed some cosmetic work. The bathroom door could not close properly and the sliding door from the balcony was extremely hard to open. Other than that had a perfect 2 nights celebrating with the wife

    It is a nice hotel for the money— the pool area could use a nice power wash to get rid of some of the debris and foliage after storms— overall it’s a good deal for the directly on the beach. The food is amazing—

    Didn’t sleep due to loud people on both sides of our rooms. The walls are paper tin and you can hear somebody talking a normal convo. But these people were really loud at 3am. Hallways reeked of weed. Just very low class as far as places I’ve stayed. The only employee that went out of his way was Brian. The rooms have doors that are breaking apart. Don’t trust the pics because it doesn’t look that nice. Embarrassed I brought my mom here for her birthday.

    atento y amable. En realidad le doy 4 estrellas porque las habitaciones(la que me asignaron a mi) un poco pequeña al igual que el baño. Y no tenia microvawe. También pagas el fee del resort que solo te da derecho a estar en la playa ,si quiere usar las tumbonas y sombrilla tienes que pagarlas. Asi que no entiendo que beneficio te da pagar el fee. Porque también el parqueo se paga por noche. En general el hotel esta bueno y aceptable y el precio que pagamos también.

    The tiki bar was the best part of my experience. The staff were so nice, always smiling, very helpful. Never had to wait to long for anything you asked for. When I checked in I did have a few problems with my room. Left came back the air conditioning was not working and the tv don’t work either. The gentleman from maintenance when to the front desk and had them move me to another room. It was nice to see that someone cared about my frustration 4 times to front desk for problems was ruff.

All of the outlets were questionable. One outlet wouldn’t let me plug in the cord to the lamp. The room should be closed until it’s inspected. Also, the hotel is to close together. I woke up the next morning and there was this man looking into my room. I did not like the stay here.

    Unfortunately, the first room was painted like the day before so the smell was extremely strong. They could not accommodate us in another room. Secondly, the room was extremely small with a chair and king bed. From day one, when you sat at the edge of the bed, the other end will raise. The balcony furniture was broken. The bathroom sink was clogged from day one. A fire was supposed suspected and everyone had to get out, to find out someone was smoking in the elevator. Lastly, as I laid on the middle of the bed, nice and steady it collapsed. Will never recommend as a hotel stay but as an AirBNB. My brother had one during the same time and his room was amazing. Not to mention he paid the same amount for 6 nights that I paid for 3.

    The Tiki bar was the selling point. Pool was fine with limited lounge chairs. The beach was ok. Lounge chairs $15.00 and another $15.00 for an umbrella. There is a resort fee of $21.00 a day not included in booking price. I booked an ocean view room with balcony. There was no balcony and the windows facing the ocean were so filthy it made it tough to see through. I guess because the curtains wouldn’t slide open we weren’t supposed notice. .I have never stayed in a room that was so not worth the price paid. The only mirror was in the tiny bathroom above the small sink. With only a thin filmy shower liner the floor got soaked after showering. Oh, and there was not a toilet paper holder so the toilet paper sat on the floor. The room was clean but had an old musky smell. I complained and asked for another room and was told to speak to Expedia as it’s the room they advertised. Our stay was 6/20-6/24/2026. We prepaid at the time of booking. Extremely disappointed with the amount of money we spent.

    Properly needs MAKOR update! They were doing construction on our floor at 8AM!!! Ughhhh! I was pissed! Checked out after 1 night! Very disappointed! Lobby was very nice but room are very out of date and hot water did not work!!!

    This property is in bad state of repair: the AC fan rattled constantly, the shower spigot handle fell off, the sink handles fell off, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in (had a pool of water in the freezer), the ice machine didn't work, the door lock was appalling. No luggage carts were available. The pillows were like huge rocks. Maybe the place was good 50 years ago, but not now.

    I reserved a Deluxe room Ocean View room did not get that. Got a city view room. Our rooms were never cleaned stayed there 3 nights. Only one roll of toilet paper was in the bathroom had to down to the desk to request more the phones didn't even work for us to call for service. Very disappointing

    This hotel was horrible all the way around, the room was dirty and out dated. The bathroom was horrible, no place to hang towels, 6 lightbulbs and 3 were broken. The room was not as advertised in pictures, two rooms down the hall were exactly as pictured, I requested 2 beds and had one bed, no outlets close to anything, refrigerator did not keep anything cold, even after adjusting temperature. No notice of construction on the property, the hallway was covered in paper, we could hear people arguing at one point about a resident leaving their property for renovations. The pool was dirty, trash all over inside the pool and on the deck. The connecting bar left out all the caddies with condiments overnight, and receipts with credit card information on it. Front desk was less than helpful. Do not stay here

    So convenient to everything and you really don’t need to leave the premises, the apartment is spacious with plenty of space for a large group, Justin reaches out a few days before to see if we needed anything and with great instructions smell in the hallways, barking dog a couple of rooms down, unstable wooden plank leading to the beach (easy for someone to trip)

    This is the second time me and my grown daughter have stayed at Ocean Manor and we have loved it both times. The staff is great, we recognized many from four years ago when we were there. Food and drinks are great at the Tiki Hut, food has very generous portions. The beach and pool is right there. There is an additional Italian restaurant along with a coffee shop and gift shop. We did not rent a car just used Lyft and uber a couple of times. There could be a few upgrades done but a perfect resort may take away from the charm of this place. We’ll be back for sure❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

    There were multiple issues throughout the room: the doors would not close at all as they were broken off, one bathroom had no hot water nor a shower door, and the TV in the bedroom did not work. Extension cords were running across the room to power various items, which felt unsafe, and used bars of soap had been left in the shower from previous guests. The elevators also felt unreliable, and the room windows had only thin curtains that were too small to fully cover them, with no proper blinds. In addition, there was no cable television available. Overall, the property appeared outdated and poorly maintained. The entire hotel is in serious need of renovations and better upkeep, as many things seemed to be falling apart.

    The hotel has its own private beach area but they do not allow their paying guests to bring their own small cooler to the beach nor pool areas because they force their guests to have to spend at their tiki bar. Be aware drink prices are pretty high.

    If "landlord special" was a hotel this would be it. The lobby was small and crowded. At first the staff was nice.....then we got to the room. It was not well kept and the door looked like it had been broken in to before and never really fixed, there was a huge gap in it as well. After the front desked was called to look at it....no one ever arrived. We chose to leave about an hour after arriving because it was not a safe place to stay. When asked to check out the front desk because mean and short. I informed them we were leaving because we did not feel safe with the door...that is when he asked if we wanted another room, considering that no one came when asked the first time we declined. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

    One feature we really appreciated was the full kitchen in our room. It made our stay even more convenient because we were able to pick up groceries during our trip and cook some of our own meals. The overall property and rooms were clean and maintained nicely throughout our stay. The resort also offered great amenities, including an on-site bar and restaurants, as well as convenient towel, beach chair, and umbrella rentals. What really stood out was the attentive beach service. Servers regularly walked along the beach to check on guests and make sure we had everything we needed, whether it was beverages or food from the bar area. Overall, we had a great experience from start to finish and would definitely stay there again!

    I booked a Deluxe Oceanview room and the front gave me a room overlooking the front hotel entrance! I went back and complained, She said you get a partial view if an Ocean view room is not booked directly through the Hotel. After complaining she gave me what she said was the last Ocean view room . The sink hot water handle didn’t work and the refrigerator defrosted twice on the floor during my 3 day stay.

    There is weirdness in this building. A good chunk of the rooms are occupied by permanent residents. Seeing Ring video doorbells on random hotel room doors is...odd. Some people (residents) were able to get towels at the pool for free. If you were just a guest, each towel is a $6 rental with $5 refunded when you return the towel as long as you have your (small, paper) receipt. There is a bar and grill on the beach (good) with giant venting fans on the top that roar at 70 to 80 decibels...all day long. We had an ocean view room (good) which also allowed us to see the abandoned tarps, equipment, and garbage on roofs below you (bad). Our room was...Spartan. A king size bed, two bed side stands, a small dresser, and a chair. There was a TV on the wall. No art on the walls. No carpet. There were no USB ports at all. There were two accessible outlets in the main room and one in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom...the toilet was of the type often seen in public schools. No tank. The toilet would not completely flush, requiring several reflushes. Parking is valet only. The price being charged seemed to vary. The good...the staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach. There are two decent restaurants on site plus a coffee bar. The hotel is one of the lowest prices of all the hotels on the beach...and it shows.

    The hotel itself was raggedy as hell. The door to my room was torn up. The toilet system sounded like the cruise ship when you flush. The bathroom door didn't close. The outdoor balcony was dirty and so was the furniture. The noise level was 10 & higher. They slammed the doors to the room from sun up to sundown. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I am really disappointed in Travelocity and would not book another room through them.

    The room we booked was certainly not the room we stayed in. We made the best of it and enjoyed the Casa Calabrian restaurant and having our guest enjoy the private beach with us for only $6 valet for the day but when it came to our room it was a bummer. The deluxe ocean view with king bed was far from that. We had maybe 10% ocean view, we special requested a king size bed (it was a double bed or king) walked in to see a double and all the pictures that were shown for the room were with balconies. Let me just say Hotels. Com are doing their best to help us and that’s what’s making it worth it. So if you book through a third party never count on the hotel to help you

    No need to leave the property, unless you want to explore, and Everything is in walking distance. Would have liked to be able to walk onto the beach with our own food and drinks, rather than having to walk through the tiki bar/restaurant which prohibits you from bringing any outside food or drinks, no coolers, etc

    Shower did not work. door was very hard to operate into the room. Looked like somebody broke into it and nobody truly fixed it. pool area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week garbage and debris everywhere although the wind was blowing in their defense but the garbage cans smell like they haven’t been rinsed out or cleaned or pressure washed in a month.

    Would not recommend, we were upgraded for free for a penthouse which at first we were so happy since it was our honeymoon night, but as we opened the door we were disappointed. The room had nothing special, the tiles on the steps to the balcony were broken , in the bedroom was only a bed with a sinking mattress, a dresser, a tv sitting on it . Under the bed we saw a concrete block holding the bed . The bathroom super outdated I felt like we were walking into the “Godfather”movie in a bad way , the shower door leaked water like a river bleeding through under the glass, made the whole floor outside the shower soaked wet. The balcony had broken chairs , broken gate, the balcony floor had asphalt from the roof all over . The only thing great was the ocean front and the view other than that very disappointed. We checked out 7:00 am with back pain from the horrible mattress. I do not recommend

    Deluxe ocean view room was bearly visible from a tiny corner in the room, all I could see was the top of a building. No balcony. Room felt very small. When I asked for ocean view, they charged me an extra $30+ dollars. Unfriendly check in staff.

    This place was a sh!tshow. Dirty, broken tile and glass, mismatched furniture, screaming children everywhere - I think there was an unapproved birthday party going on. Anyone can just walk in here and go to the pool and beach. I saw it happen. Tiki bar was ok but WAY overpriced. We actually asked for a refund (and were granted one) and left.

    Room had a 'run down' condition. No bath towels and just a few hand towels and wash cloths. The beach was not at all enjoyable because of a constant, loud air conditioning unit running for the property! The elevator doors stuck a number of times. The staff were not friendly. I would not recommend staying at this property.

    The rooms could use shelves and hooks in the bathroom. There is no storage. Only 1 small nightstand between the beds and the main room lamp is on it. So no space for ur stuff. No microwave, no free coffee. Elevators are small and slow. The staff was nice but there were so many guest and there was no easy access to the beach and u have to weave urself thru all diners at the tiki bar eating. The lobby area was nice. Honestly wont stay there again. Dont recommend it. They can do better.

    We were upgraded to a balcony ocean view suite which was great - but much less so once we realized we were in a suite that was being renovated. The kitchen was incomplete and without a coffee maker. The unit smelled like paint and insecticide. The balcony and ocean view were delightful but outside furniture was not very comfortable - no umbrella for sun protection. We chose this property for the pool, beach and beach restaurant. Very little shade at the pool - no umbrellas. The beach amenities had fees for loungers and umbrellas - this wasn’t outlined on the website which was disappointing. The pictures looked nicer than the reality (more than normal) We enjoyed our stay but feel it was not great value for the money paid.

    The view in our beach view room was great, being able to watch the sunrise from our bed. The tiki bar is nice. The rooms are updated, with a nice sized TV and bathroom. The cable package is odd, with a lot of interuptions and not a great selection of programs. While the room itself was updated, the halls are very dated, and could use some TLC.

    The hotel was in a great location, the view was amazing, it had a pool, pool bar, dining and close enough to town to walk. The front office gal was very busy but also very nice and upbeat, she deserves a raise! It was crazy busy with it being spring break. The 3 stars comes from the interior of the room, it’s only saving grace was the balcony with the pool and ocean view. There is NOTHING else positive that I can say. The bed was hard, the pillows worse, the paint was peeling all over the ceiling, the bathroom countertop was cracked, the toilet didn’t dump properly so it always looked like it wasn’t flushed. There was no hair dryer (although the front office gal found me one) no microwave, no coffee pot, the cabinets in the bath and kitchen were broken and the “owners” personal items were in a cabinet that couldn’t be locked any longer. The website said there was a shuttle to and from the Everglades port and airport, there was not. It’s really unfortunately that they don’t put a bit of money back into the interior of this hotel/condo. It could be beautiful. For 722.00 For two nights, I expected more.

    Stay away from this place. Rooms look nothing like in picture. I booked ocean view based on pictures, room was terrible. Hallways always smelled like marijuana, tub did not drain properly so you had to stand in dirty shower water while bathing. Thermostat to room was disconnected so room was very hot in daytime and freezing at night. A complete dump of a hotel.

    Even though we had no beautiful scenic view, our room was spacious and comfortable and that in itself a beautiful place to be. The beds were low so as not to need a boost to get into. The walk in shower was perfect per my prior request. The kitchen was well equipped and we only needed a trip to the Winn Dixie grocery store, which is within walking distance, for food and beverages. The staff was friendly and polite

    We arrived with our 3 small children and the front desk lady offered us a “room upgrade for free” we accepted and when we got into the room were shocked that it was still under construction. Wet paint on the door, smelled like paint and drywall and a missing kitchen with multiple holes on the wall. The front lady only mentioned “the room does not have a kitchen”. It was getting late and the kids really wanted to enjoy the beach for an hour so we didn’t complain and accepted the room. The front lady gave us a physical key, one key.. when we got back we couldn’t get back into the room because we needed TWO keys. We were locked out of our room, wet and cold for close to an hour as the workers called everyone to find this missing key. My 5 year old ended up with a fever and blue from how cold he was. They refused to call a locksmith and ended up having a worker come from home to unlock the door. It was a total nightmare and I would never stay there again. Horrible. They refunded us the $20 resort fee for the inconvenience lol beware

    The listing here is very far fetched. The room was run down and had black mold on the curtains, and pictures. The amenities were short of nothing really. We were told that we should have booked directly through the hotel and ended up getting a double queen bed room. Aside from the poor worn out quality of the room, one bed had a broken box spring and the second bed had a twin box spring under the Queen mattress after complaining to management, they reluctantly gave us a partial discount for the first night and ultimately a room with a balcony and the full ocean view. The balcony and the Ocean view was 4 star, the beds and the rest of the room were reasonable. I chatted with Expedia during this fiasco, but was told that you were sorry and could do very little other than contact the hotel. Ultimately it was up to the discretion of hotel management who had been tell us that any discount would have to come from Expedia. After this experience, I will certainly not go back to Ocean Manor and I didn’t see the value in using Expedia.

    We booked this property because it said that there was an accessible chair lift for the pool. One of us is confined to a wheelchair. We asked twice to access it. First time told that it wasn't working. Then they changed the story to it works but the guy in charge is too busy to install the battery etc. Mo said matbe tomorrow...tomorrow is today and we are checking out. No phone in room Had to use cell to call front desk. No room service. Ice only onthe lobby floor. Says only for tenants as it is also a condo rental. The balcony we got was dirty not cleaned at all. We asked a young chap to do it and he did. Chair hogs abundant at pool early in morning no where to sit both days. Their pub says access to lounge chairs umbrellas beach towels but they do not tell you that it costs 15$ for chair and umbrella each and 7$ for towels plus a deposit of 5$ each. We abstained. Patio area is for food and beverage service only. If you sit there you must buy. Basically the entire place is a cash grab. Would we stay there again no. Would we recommend it no unless we don't like that person.

    Loved the easy access to the beach and the restaurant. The booking site was a little miss leading as it showed I was going to have an oceanside balcony room and I in fact did not. Fire alarm went off twice the night we stayed which was not real convenient and pretty scary. Hotel staff knocked on the door at 10:50 to tell us check out was at 11:00 which we knew I felt like they should have been a little more understanding about check out time since we had to evacuate in the middle of the night and was outside for several hours which had a huge impact on how much sleep we received.

    Overall my experience at Ocean Manor was just ok. The pictures provided for the hotel and room do not do it justice. The hotel overall is very outdated as well as the rooms in my opinion. When I booked my stay I booked for a room with a kitchenette and my room didn’t even have a microwave in it. When I went down stairs to ask to get a different room and they said they are fully booked even tho I can see on Expedia they had rooms available. On entering my room I was very disappointed, the room was very out dated and had alot of issues. Multiple cracked tiles, stained bed sheets and curtains, rusty and dirty vents in the shower, broken cabinets in the bathroom, cracks and holes in the wall on the balcony. Over all there were a lot of things that needed attention in the room and in my opinion for what I paid for was way to much for the quality of the room and hotel. The hallways were dirty and the carpets very dirty, the walls are extremely thin you can hear all your neighbors and room service very early in the morning making it hard to rest. At least the front desk staff was nice and accommodating and the restaurant and out side are was nice but all in all out of 10 I’d rate my experience a 4.

    Overall my experience at Ocean Manor was just ok. The pictures provided for the hotel and room do not do it justice. The hotel overall is very outdated as well as the rooms in my opinion. When I booked my stay I booked for a room with a kitchenette and my room didn’t even have a microwave in it. When I went down stairs to ask to get a different room and they said they are fully booked even tho I can see on Expedia they had rooms available. On entering my room I was very disappointed, the room was very out dated and had alot of issues. Multiple cracked tiles, stained bed sheets and curtains, rusty and dirty vents in the shower, broken cabinets in the bathroom, cracks and holes in the wall on the balcony. Over all there were a lot of things that needed attention in the room and in my opinion for what I paid for was way to much for the quality of the room and hotel.     The condo was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and we fell in love with the pillows. The host was amazing, and so many little features like books to read and games that were available that made the place feel like home. I couldn’t find a pair of scissors, but we made do with a knife.

    Room wasn’t bad. Kinda looks like it was renovated and slapped together in a rush though. I wouldn’t for an ocean view room again though bc it was not an ocean view room it was a room with a view of another ugly hotel next door and the windows were so filthy you couldn’t even see out of them. I would stay again only due to the location is very nice it’s right on the beach with its own bar and free beach access but don’t get suckered into paying extra money for a ocean view room

    Booked this hotel for 2 nights, but checked out after the first night because overall this is hands down the worst “resort” I’ve ever been to. The vibes were off the second I checked in when they didn’t ask for ID. They have no idea who is their resort and who isn’t. Upon going to our room we noticed the halls were dirty and smell, they gave us the wrong room. And when you try and talk to customer service they are no where to be found. They don’t tell you at check in that the counter closes overnight and not one worker can be found and the reason that’s a problem is bc there was an overwhelming noise in our room and it was in the lobby too. High pitched ringing. We were not able to sleep the entire night. The staff refused to acknowledge the sound and when asked about any of these problems the woman at customer service and valet who work there were extremely rude. I asked for management email and it was not provided by the front desk. The same front desk woman who I witnessed talking inappropriately about a housekeeper who spoke over the walkie. Lastly check out is at 11 so at 1040 I was heading to my room and in the hall and housekeeping knocked to clean it and we’re going to open my door until I asked them what they are doing. I said I still have 20 mins and will be leaving now but that they should not enter my room until check out time. Thankfully Orbitz was able to help get my money back for the second night. Orbitz was the only positive experience to come out of this.

    Rooms were okay clean. Staff was great. Everyone was pleasant. Had a great massage. Food at Tikki bar was average, akin to bar food but eatable. The Italian restaurant was okay. Only had one dish, the polenta tri colari which I enjoyed eating. Their drinks were ample and not watered down. I had an old fashioned. Well maybe two... The atmosphere was lively with live music and everyone singing along. It was great to be right on the beach, which was clean and not too crowded. Just watch out for the gangster seagulls!! One took off with someone's whole meal in a bag and when I tried to chase it off I swear it laughed at me as it flew away, bag in beak. My only critique would be that the rooms are very dated with noticeably rough areas like floor around the toilet peeling up. Overall not a bad experience. Not perfect but not bad. I would go back if I got a good rate.

    Rooms need maintenance. Sliding door was very difficult to open. Bathroom sink fixtures were loose. Trim needs painting. No microwave or coffee maker in the room. Nice large balcony overlooking pool and beach but furniture was small and old. TV was a FireTV but no fireTV remote just a universal one so using that to operate the TV was challenging. Water temperature in shower was not hot just warm. The bedding was very comfortable. Parking is $18 per night and there’s a $22 resort fee too. This is not part of what you pay when you book through Expedia. Staff was very pleasant. Tiki bas restaurant was very nice. $16 for a frozen margarita. We got a medium pizza for $17 that was delicious! Margarita was delicious too! The property overall was very nice. There’s a McDonald’s across the street and a Dunkin’ Donuts just past that. We really liked the location.

    The place was scary, filthy and felt unsafe. We arrived with 4 adult guests and they gave us a room with 1 king bed although we booked 2 queen beds. It felt like the kind of place you "book by the hour". I shared these concerns with the front desk staff and manager of the hotel, and they assured me that they would follow up with Expedia for a refund. This is definitely not a place that is worth anywhere near $400 USD a night. I would appreciate a call from Expedia about how you will handle this. It made the last day of our vacation horrible.     Room was clean to a point, talk to manager to get us a balcony sense we requested one and was not possible we did arrived at location 1 hr before and my friends that arrived a hr after check in also got a room same as ours did got a balcony, so manager didn’t help us at all and was a bit rude, and bathroom had a ceiling leak so I guess if you don’t tip them in the front they won’t help you so keep that on mind if u are staying at this place, and also they do charge a $20 fee no matter what for the resort stay which we didn’t even use so yea my rate for this place is 1 star

    Cons: Room was GROSS. Not cleaned properly, broken furniture, construction supplies literally underneath the beds in plan view, no blankets provided, bathroom was half finished and dirty floors with sand everywhere, shower door was broken and a simple curtain hanger with a curtain instead of replacing the actual glass for the slider door, window opens up completely easy access for a child to fall out of. Just a room that clearly was not meant for clients to sleep in. No key entry, pinpad used again tells us this probably should not have been available to rent due to being unfinished. All round a bad experience. Had to have house keeping provide toilet paper due to none being in the bathroom. Like really ?!?!

    We loved the location of the property just footsteps to the beach. Host provided sand chairs. Tiki Bar was entertaining and had great food. On-site gift shop, spa, coffee shop and downstairs restaurant were phenomenal. Large living room has huge sectional couch making it easy to unwind and catch up with your group. Has an updated and very nice kitchen with everything you would need. Condo was very clean. Host Justin very nice, attentive and quick to respond. Nothing, it's a perfect place to escape to.

    Rooms must be rented out, at night there was drilling happening in room next door, dogs barking, loud music and strong smell of weed. Doors were damaged, room was basic and not clean, old beds with stained sheets. We left after an hour of arrival. We did not feel safe. This property is misrepresented online.     We had four rooms booked, and this review covers the worst one; however, they were all subpar. The lobby is nice, but the rooms are another story. TV broker, only one light in the whole room, and the AC is not working. The door to the room was rusted and had obviously been forced open at some point. In fairness, the hotel did send someone to make some repairs, but without any apology.

    I did not have an ocean front room but the beach view from the restaurant was great. The studio rooms are very spacious, similar to a one bedroom apartment. The floors are all tile and could have been cleaner, I had to wear socks or flip flops. I had to ask for a hair dryer and iron. The AC was very loud. Overall a great value for the location.

    Loved this property and would definitely stay again if in Fort Lauderdale. Some stand out employees were Maddie , Msnuel in the Italian Rstrsujt and the security guard . Its so great to be right on the beach & the beautiful pool. Bamboo beach Tiki Bar was great to have on property. We had our first lunch there , one breakfast and several cocktails. It was great for me as I am more of a night owl then my friend so since they are open until 2 I could go there and mingle with other guests and locals while she rested. We had an Ocean View Suite with a balcony & so worth it!! I would give them 10 stars out of 5.

    After checking, this hotel was a disaster. My daughter‘s wedding was held here. The penthouse suite had a cracked closet all the way across the mirror, the food was horrible. We could not eat our steak, and there was no seasoning at all on the chicken and the string beans were hard. Our room had a TV with no news channels, and none of the regular shows that would normally be on The provide you with a coffee pot with no coffee. Our room was next to the trash room to make matters worse, we were awakened at 3 AM by a barking crying dog that went on for over an hour. I couldn’t wait to leave this morning.

    Paid for an ocean view and requested a king size bed which hotel messaged me back “noted” . Was given a pool view with the ocean in the background I was put in the corner had the smallest balcony of all balconys and two double beds. The hotel stated you cannot choose a king bed but I had the proof they acknowledged my request.They also do not tell you it’s $18 a day to park. You must pay a resort fee as well. 6 days cost me $100 to park and $100 resort fee. Room service never came we had to stop them In The hallway for towels and toilet paper. thermostat were broken. I don’t know what the temperature was set at as all numbers were worn off and dripping condensation from vents above our head. The mattresses are old they need to be updated .Also no coffee pot ! I don’t ever write reviews but the amount of money I spent and hidden fees for this resort I would have rather stayed somewhere else. The only good part was the tiki bar down stairs the food was amazing and bartenders so nice!

    This hotel has a lot of potential. It is really beautiful but needs a lot of maintenance done. We were locked in our room because the handle was old and needed replaced. Pool was not cleaned every day. Iguanas were cool but require being cleaned up after every day. Landscaping has a lot of trash. Tiki bar is really nice. Good food and drinks.

    I have been staying in this hotel every year for the past 5 years. It is an old property but beautiful and located on a beach which is lovely. However, the property is on need of a good maintenance. The first room I got had no AC, so first night was a nightmare. Front desk said they don't have a maintenance tech to solve the issue.The next day at noon I got another room with a working AC but the zinc was clogged and water accumulate in a second when you open it. One of the bed pillows was used and has dry blood on it and the furniture has dust. The balcony door was almost impossible to open. And last, but no least, the persons who clean the rooms, don't speak a word on English, I trued to talk with some of them and no luck.Definitely, a very bad experience. Sadly, since I love the place itself. Not worth to expend my vacation time and my money in here. Hopefully they improve.

    The size of my suite and The balcony views of the beach was awesome. The breakfast was fulfilling. The Tiki staff was very nice. This Resort is in walking distance to McDonald's, Duncan donuts and Winn Dixie supermarket. A 10 min walk to Lauderdale by the sea where you will find several restaurants and stores. The pool deck area should be cleaned throughout the day to eliminate animal poop, braches from the palm trees & trash left by guests

    The proximity to the beach. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The owner of Apt 511 was not. We had an approved check in time of 1100am -1200pm on 9/8. Room not ready. Spoke with owner who said they would give us an access code said it may be ready around 4pm. We are a family of 6 with little ones who just got off a cruise. The owner wanted us to leave our bags inside the room and leave them with no access. The door was opened and as walked in the place was discusting not just from a cleaning view, but the overall maintence and upkeep, unsafe for children. Visible patched holes in walls, bugs in light fixtures, mold everywhere, moldy smell as well. Balcony dirty, moldy and cluttered with debris. On the one side you could see the ocean, the window was moldy, dirty and could not even get to d/t debris and clutter in the way. There was a patio table with one chair. We called the owner back and said we did not feel comfortable leaving our bags here unattended since our car was already valet parked and would take 45 minutes to retrive (????). We had all our passports,money and personal belongings ect. The owner became very hostile yelling stating" I said 4pm. Get out now. " We let him know we would not be staying here and requested a refund. No refund given as of yet (9/11/25). Please see pictures. I would never stay nor recommend this place. I am currently disbuting the money with my credit card company and they have been helpful. We checked in at Marriott Beachtowers which was beautiful. Also i would like to add the pictures on booking for this Apt # 511 are not at all what you get in reality. If you have women and/or children in your family this is not a safe place to stay. DO BETTER WITH YOUR BUSINESS AND TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT.

    1. Yellow water ran into the bathtub 2. Closet leaked water everyday, leaving a puddle and the closet unusable the entire stay 3. Bathroom sink was clogged the entire stay 4. Phone did not work the entire stay 5. The recliner was broken and could no let down 6. TV had to be reset 7. Microbe buttons were broken l 8. Maintenance came twice and attempted the closet issue. They never attempted to unclog the sink. I have pictures and videos of these concerns. There were no other suites available for a room change or an upgrade until the night before my departure. I declined it because I was leaving the following morning around 5:30am. I am expecting compensation in a refund, but I have not heard back from the manager or anyone else.

    The location is awesome. The rooms could use some simple additions like places to hand wet clothing and a soap dish in the bathroom. The tiki bar staff is amazing - friendly and efficient. The front desk and coffee bar staff were okay - some were not that friendly. Restaurant prices were a little high- Lauderdale by the sea had much better prices. Hallway stunk really bad like marijuana.

    From the minute we walked in there was nothing but great things going on. First of all we got an upgrade at no cost to an oceanfront suite the beach was just great the pool was amazing the staff was awesome and the guy at the pool towels was very nice and friendly. Everything was very nice and clean we will be back next time we are in town. Great job by all.

    The facility/resort was very nice. It was wonderful to have the restaurant, shopping, tiki bar and beach so handy. Great location overall. The unit itself was roomy, the kitchen was small, but cute and updated. The unit needs some serious attention and repair, not to mention decor. The entire unit was not welcoming or happy. The broken bed frame at the foot of one of the beds, the other bed without a box spring, no headboard in the master bedroom, all beds need new pillows, terrible patch jobs throughout, lack of patchwork as well. The place needs paint. The towel ring in bathroom 2 was so loose it felt it was going to fall out of the wall. I have owned an air bnb as well as a wedding planning business and a little extra goes a long way. The towels were old and thin. There were no shampoo or soaps, and why would there be an empty air freshener in the bathroom? It made me wonder. The expired pastries on top of the refrigerator were kind of gross.

    It’s an older property and the bathrooms are very small. The staff and reception folks were friendly and answered any questions we had. When we went to use our towels they had hair on them. There was also the strong smell of marijuana about the property.

    The stay was great, hotel is outdated, older property in this area, has a musty smell throughout hallways but the location is awesome. This hotel offers direct beach access, no crossing streets or highway...it has a bar, pool, you can rent beach chairs and umbrella and they set up for you on the beach. If you're looking for glamorous hotel this isn't it but if you want access to beach, bar and pool...look no further but rooms are average at best and restroom toilet is loud when flushing. Overall I would stay here again if my ultimate goal was just to enjoy the beach and oceanview

    Room- clean, spacious, comfortable bed Property- clean Only have one complaint- the electricity went out for an hour in the room and hallway. No updates or notifications were given. I had to stay in my room or be locked out, and I had to use Google to find out what was happening. Upon checkout, when I mentioned the issue, the front desk did not care to ask further or seem to care at all. Left a bad experience at the end of an otherwise good trip.

    Stay. I had no television the whole time I was there.. no room service and no service phone so I couldn’t call to the front desk in regards to what was going on to my room. They didn’t get it squared away until around 8 PM the second night that I was there , but it definitely needs some help and I am definitely looking for a credit for what I pay or some type of incentive something because I spent $500 and it wasn’t worth $500..

    Was given partial room accommodations that were close to what we had reserved for which was ocean view. Quick tip: calling the hotel ahead of time to ensure the room being reserved is actually what will be given upon arrival. Also businesses around the area are closed after sunset for the most part and there is no front desk available during midnight time until after 7am.

    Staff is friendly and helpful. Beach access is great. Rooms are very outdated and bathroom was falling apart smell of sewage comes thru the sinks. We had to plug up the sinks and add water to alleviate the smell. To access the beach you have to go thru the bar area which smelled like pure alcohol. I wouldn't stay here again with my family.

    The room was okay. The bathroom had stain all over the mirror and the toilet was not mounted right. It kept moving every time you sat on it. The pool was very dirty, it had feminine products floating and no did anything until it was brought to there attention. Tiki was great. I would recommend stay at the resort next door.

    The hotel was not what was presented on Expedia rooms were not what we seen 1st room poor air conditioning toilet was bubbling over when u flushed we were afraid to use it. a wonderful gentlemen at the desk upgraded our room it was very nice but not clean looked like the sheets on the bed were never changed all wrinkled comforter also. no one ever came to clean or bring clean towels we had to ask . the pool area left much to be desired water had hair floating around and full of sand on the bottom never vacumed . around the pool was dirty also never cleaned or swept there was not one umbrella around the pool no where to get out of the sun . was there for 5 days never seen a cleaning person thru out the hotel with the exception of the 2 who came to clean the room after we requested it and they were nasty!!would never stay or recommend this place not what u think it would be

    The food, location, and scenery was great! The food from the Tiki Bar was amazing and the staff were friendly. The location from the beach was right outside which made the view spectacular no matter what time of day. Although minor, the bathroom sink had some damage (I think the paint or laminate). Underneath the toilet, the surface wasn't completely cleaned (there was left over pee from whoever). In regards to parking, you are kind of locked in with using the hotel valet parking since there's not much anywhere else.

    Cons - the whole resort needs attention. Much needed TLC! All of the hallways smelled like weed that seeps into the room. We had to move out of the way of the unfriendly staff several times. We booked for the ocean view but were unable to sit on the balcony due to the grease smell from the tiki bar. Our room didn’t include a trash can and the smoke detector was removed (our additional room only had sheets on the bed- missing a blanket). The oversized wooden bed frame sticks out and had a quilt covering the obstruction causing a painful shin injury. The mattress was extremely worn out and uncomfortable. The door to the emergency exit (stairway) stuck and wouldn’t open. Our door didn’t deadbolt. Housekeeping came a few hours after we checked-in staring uncomfortably into our room confused why we didn’t need service. No housekeeping service the next day (our full day) and came 20 minutes before checkout to see if we were still there. The pool was very cloudy with worn out lounge chairs that looked as if they were about to break. The walkway to the beach required a weave through the tiki dinning area. Unbeknownst to us each room is individually owned. Our room had a small night table and a giant light. Hardly any room for a phone. The building is old causing sound to carry in the doors, walls, and floors including the wedding reception music.

    We got the deluxe room and loved the ocean view from the balcony. The room was nice, I just wish it came with a microwave. But the room does have a mini fridge. Parking is valet only with a fee of $18 a day and paid with velvet at check in. The valet staff was great and along with the hotel staff. I would stay here again.

    The hotel is old and can use some upgrading including fire alarms, staff & operable fire hoses. My check in was good, I believe the gentlemen’s name was Bart. He made sure I got an oceanfront room as requested. My last night was horrific. At 4:45am I noticed an orange glare & smoke outside. I go out to the balcony & see that the large tiki next to the hotel is on fire. I run downstairs & there’s no one at the front desk. I bump into Carlos, the valet guy. I’m calling 911 & he says he already did. Another guest runs down & ask Carlos if there’s a garden hose outside. Carlos says “yeah I think so”. The man (who was the hero) runs out & is trying to put out the fire. No fire alarms have gone off yet & the fire is really going. There’s plenty of smoke. I find the fire hose in the hotel, I pull the hose out & I’m trying to turn the valve but it is rusty & not moving. I ask Carlos who is busy filming for help opening the valve & he says me, “no, you’re going to make it worse” & proceeds to walk away. Finally alarms start going off after about 10 minutes. Now the guest start coming down & the lobby is full. I ask someone else to help me but he can’t turn the valve either. No Fire dept yet. Two other guest run out & try to help the guest whose been battling the blaze alone. Eventually the manager (who Carlos pointed out to me) comes out half dressed and is frantically trying to turn the valve. He eventually does. The fire dept finally arrive to finish the job. I don’t recommend!

    It has dated rooms. You get a free beach towel to use but need to rent the loungers and umbrellas. We had 6 burnt out/missing light bulbs in our room. If you are a room that ends in 17,18, or 19 get it changed. The elevator will keep you up all night with its dings everytime anyone calls for it on your floor, the floor below, or the floor above and there are four elevators so you do the math. One night there was a room that had two dogs barking for hours and management did nothing about it. They did let us store our luggage and check in early when we had an early flight. The location is nice. It’s a nice beach walk to Lauderdale-by-the-sea. Short walk from Winn Dixie and CVS for things you might need. The servers at the Tiki Bar are great!

    This property really needs upgraging there is no microwave nor coffee pot n tha room u have to go downstairs to get food warmed up and hot water n ur cup to make some coffee. Tha curtains has sun spots all n through them everywhere patio furniture coming apart tha headboard on tha bed is just there its not attached to tha bed nor tha wall. Tha only noise i had a problem with is when house keeper come to clean tha rooms around us all u here is them slamming stuff sliding stuff all on tha floors cause they have no carpet on tha floors imagine that fr 7 days they dont stop partying until after 2am. people work at tiki walk by u so many times u have to walk right by us serveral times there and we had to go down to register to place our order on ur own, when they are suppose to come to ur table and take ur order per tha manager we really thought they were on some racist stuff because as soon as tha 2 older white ladies sot down they ran over there to take there order but we had been waiting over 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Tha only thing I enjoyed about this expensive trip is my man and tha ocean Praise God for His ocean to keep us at peace. Update this property PLEASE it really need it. Yall charge people alot of money to stay in this shabby place I have no problem paying but let it be worth it. Tha front desk clerks were really kind. Besides the foreign black lady at tha coffee shop that tried to charge us for a hot cup of water "REALLY". With no coffee pot n tha room.

    I stayed from 5/18 until 5/23. I booked through Expedia a while ago; I reserved an ocean view room. I love that it was a one stop shop. I rented a car because I booked a few excursions and was going to see friends. My overall experience was a good one and I would stay here again. I loved that there was a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance, as a local Walgreens, etc. What you NEED to know, things I found out as I went: Valet parking only. . you can’t use the pool if you are not a guest at the hotel This is not an all-inclusive resort, you are charged for basically everything except a beach/pool towel. You get a card at the front desk, hand it in at the rental booth by the beach, and you get it back when you return the towel. I always bring one beach towel from home because they are REAL beach towels. The towels that are supplied by the hotel are more of a shower towel to me. Beach chair fee card only (you can buy a cheap one at Target or whatever and leave it there when you leave, you will save money that way) Umbrella fee , card only (same idea as above) Small table is available for rent, I do not know how much as I did not rent one, card only. I have a foldable one that will fit in my luggage, so there’s that idea No room service - I can't the rest of my review here but will on other sites like yelp

    We had a great stay at Ocean Manor Beach Resort! The location is perfec and everything was clean and well-maintained. The beach access is a big plus, and the overall vibe is very relaxing. A few things to keep in mind: you're not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the pool or beach area—you have to purchase from the resort, which can get pricey. Also, the bathrooms could definitely use some updating. One thing that would really improve the experience is having some music at the pool to create a livelier atmosphere. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would return, but a few small changes could make this place even better!

    If you ask me how my stay was, I'd say it was good. If you ask me if I would return, it would never be. The parking was terrible; I don't know if it's due to the time of year, but it was the worst thing about it. We paid for a room with an ocean view, which of course is more expensive, and that was never the one we got. According to the front desk, they were at maximum capacity (unbelievable). The hotel description says they have a private beach with access to chairs and umbrellas, which is false. You have to pay to enjoy them, and the beach is far from private. The rooms are very clean, and I think the staff is doing their best. They should update the promotions they offer so that customers don't feel scammed; that's how I felt

    Loved the location, the tiki bar on site and the fact that the staff would get your drink order from the pool. The unit was great. Spacious and great layout. Also had thoughtful items for what might be helpful for the stay including the menus of the onsite restaurants I think there could have been more chairs for use at the beach as well as some outdoor compatible mats. Also it’s worth noting there isn’t a gym onsite. No fault of the owner, just good to know. I had trouble casting in the primary bedroom but it’s likely user error.

    The valet service great and lobby. The condo was DIRTY It wasn’t cleaned at all,very outdated.Mold&mildew smell inside the condo ! Justin refused to refund my money DONT STAY!also it’s not oceanview. Worst experience ever

    Our room was decent but the hotel itself is very old and worn out. Pool was nice. Tiki bar was great but pricey. Holes in the carpeting in the hallways and other places. $18/day for parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And no self parking accommodations for disabled!! Needs better mattresses and the woodwork around the room entrance door needs to be replaced along with the woodwork in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was broken. No coffee and no cream. Frankly it felt like a dump and for the price we paid, I would certainly expect better.

    Loved breakfast at the Tiki restaurant, sitting outside viewing the water. Italian restaurant was fantastic. The staff maintaining the beach were great. The pool was dirty, murky water. Trash left around the pool, not picked up. Our room, #318, very outdated and unkept. Unfortunately it was not part of the hotel, individually owned. We were unaware of this, prior to arriving.
