This property requires better maintenance. Elevators look soo old. Same with bathroom doom. Rusted hinges aren't acceptable. I didn't expect too much from breakfast in hotel but that one was terrible. Cold scramble eggs, no fruits. It looks like management want to save everywhere every penny. They didn't meet 3 stars hotel standards for sure.

I like the parking, WiFi breakfast and location. Loved that the room had a microwave, iron, the bed was comfortable and I really appreciated the holding packages service. The door for the room required a bit more strength to close and open. Maybe replacing them would be best. Also the shower doors allowed water to get on the floor while in use.

Normal hotel. For the first time since I use booking.com for my vacations, I was asked to leave the breakfast premises, because time was over. Normal in hotels you even sit to eat your own lunch or dinner.

We also had someone knock and dash last night at almost midnight down the entire floor, causing people to wake up and open their doors. All staff besides the first night auditor I encountered were wonderful. So that’s a positive. Breakfast was lackluster and needing at least added condiments, like hot sauce. Fruits were gone quickly and not restocked.

Staff was friendly but the property was really worn. The door in our bathroom had water damage and was curled up. It was some what clean but needed a remodel. The vent in bathroom was really dirty. Fixtures were not very clean like mirrors etc. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The breakfast was ok.

This hotel was filthy and overrun with extended stay people who basically live at the hotel. I did not feel safe and left the hotel without staying even one night.

The management cavalier attitude about their non- return for hours and overnights, or even all day, being inside the rooms of people who used them and don't return them, is regrettable, and downright lousy management. I'm tired of it. Never again.

We were there for an overnight stay getting on the cruise ship the next day so the hotel was just fine for one night. The pros are the hotel is affordable for the area, it’s centrally located to everything and about 20 minutes only from the port, and the room was clean. It was plenty of space for the parking. I enjoyed the pool area as well, its tables outside near the pool where you can just lounge and eat or play cards. The staff was pleasant. It’s some food to purchase that can be microwaved and drinks in a cooler upfront by check in as well as other toiletries for purchase if needed. It is a McDonalds in the same parking lot as the hotel, a Wendy’s across the street, and a couple banks all in walking distance so that was great. My only real complaint is- as soon as you walk in the actual hotel room you were hit with a musky smell. I am not sure what the smell was but it did linger so we had to turn the AC unit down big time to overpower the smell. Also, the door to the rooms are hard to open and close, be mindful that it doesn’t automatically shut so then you can make sure to pull on the knob and lock it for your safety. The breakfast is included but it is lack luster so it may be better to just purchase it somewhere near by instead. Ultimately, we felt safe and it was perfect for a quick stay.

This property is more for travelers going on cruises at the nearby port. We had to move to another room as they gave us an adjoining room & the people in other room were extremely noisy. The room we moved to had a sewage smell in the bathroom. The water was a brown color. I read that Ft. Lauderdale is changing their water system & the water is safe to drink. The breakfast was good & the front desk staff was nice. The pool was nice & the rooms were clean but need some TLC.

I can only comment on the condition of the building as we checked in late and left early to catch a flight. The building appears quite dated doors don't open properly they stick and won't open or wont latch (outside security doors) there has been attempts to up grade the property but it's not don't 100% such as the bathroom in are room had been updated but they failed to fix the door or molding to complete the job so it just makes everything clash with its self and for the price I expected much better accommodations. The front desk staff was excellent worked through several other customers issues while still staying calm and professional. Great service was also given to me when checking in.

Room was used and nasty. Told the person at desk he came to see was I lying. Dirty water was in sink, bed had been slept in trash was on floor and shade was gone. It took him a long time to get us another room get to the room upstairs with my handicapped aunt the ice machines didn’t work only the one down stairs near the front room was not great but at this point it’s 3:30am we just want a few hours but they didn’t say sorry or accommodates us in any way I will never stay here again

Didn't get breakfast cuz I slept till 9:30 and it ended at 9:00 but all in all it was an excellent place to stay! Close to the highway with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The young lady who checked us in was fantastic! Very courteous and friendly..we visit the Fort Lauderdale area quite frequently and now we definitely know that from now on we'll be staying there!

I don’t know how this place got high reviews. For the most part it is clean. Rooms are terrible. You have to fight with the room door to open and close. The beds are clean. The water is yellow/ brown. Even the water they serve for breakfast yellow/ brownish. I can’t speak on breakfast because we didn’t eat due to a ton of people and due to the water color. We went to McDonald next door. The rooms smelled like old mold the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The toilet makes a long whining noise after flushing. I spoke to the front desk and he stated, that’s just how the toilets flushes at the hotel and to get some sleep. The next morning I reached out to Expedia. They tired to reach out to somebody at the hotel but they would put them on hold and not return. Finally they were able to speak to the manager an he came to the room and stated, that all the water in the area was this color. The staff is pleasant but very nonchalant about anything you have concerned about. I am assuming because they feel there is nothing they can do about it anyways. I stayed the two nights because we didn’t have anywhere to go due to spring break weekend . For what we paid we could have stayed at a really nice hotel on a average weekend. We didn’t go to the pool so I can’t speak on the pool. The area is average. I didn’t feel unsafe..

My flight departed at 6am. When I went down to the front desk to check out, there was no one at the front desk. I had to drop the keys and leave the facilities. They should have someone 24/7 for customer service.

The staff was kind. However, our room was dirty. There were traces of hair all over the bathroom. There were tooth floss pickers on the floor of the room. The water had a weird yellow tint and the toilet made a very loud noise whenever flushed. The bed was not mounted therefore it moved. The door was very difficult to open as it would get stuck. We struggled to get in and out of the room. We were literally stuck inside! Very unsafe.

I didn’t enjoy my stay in this hotel. First of all, no one was at the reception several times during my stay. I saw people (myself included), waiting and wondering where the staff are? My biggest issue was the bed bugs in my room. I woke up with hundreds of bites all over my body. I am alergic to bed bugs so you can imagine. I had to go to cvs and buy medication to treat it. Overall, a 2 stars hotel at most. Didn’t like it at all…

This is a typical budget place to stay. It looks way nicer in the photos then in person. The room was adequate but upon closer inspection, things are getting outdated and run down. Paint peeling, chipped edges of things, dirty looking pool area. Breakfast area was very tiny for the amount of available rooms. Can't find seating for breakfast because of that and pancake batter ran out when breakfast hours weren't even done yet.

Breakfast was chaos need more workers or something. Other then that it was nice.

The room was good but needs a little updating. The one thing that annoyed me is they have no cash on hand. I just needed change of a $10 for tips. The hotel is approximately halfway between the airport & cruise port. Don't they think travelers may need some change. And before you criticize, yes I did bring small change but used it up tipping at the airport etc.

The facility is nice in general, especially the breakfast area. Good coffee. but the vinyl floor of our room was dirty. Probably vacuumed often, but rarely mopped. Dirt on our feet was evident when we took a shower. I reported this to the staff. The bed was pretty good as well.

This was very much a budget Hotel. Staff were very nice and accomodating, especially the breakfast staff. But Hotel was very outdated, outdoor pool was cold. Shower did not have a seperate handheld so difficult for families with small children. Air conditioning unit was loud. One of the outlets at the desk didn't work, overall it was a bit pricey for what you get, but r only stayed one night in transit to our cruise

We had a late check out and they came by twice to clean prior to our check out time and were not polite at all and didn’t even try to hide their annoyance with us not being out when they thought we should, even though we let them know that the front desk had given us til noon.

Staff was very pleasant, courteous, and accommodating our room was nice, my wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary week. Will definitely be back 🇧🇸

The property smelled like urine. I left 2 hours after stay and the property manager advised he will refund the money. While showering the bathroom sewage got backed up, and came out on my fiance. I need compensation for this immediately. Could you kindly assist with it. I am waiting to receive my $200 back.

The room was absolutely spotless. Huge thanks to the housekeepers hard work. Front desk staff were also super helpful and friendly. Room was great size, sliding doors to small patio on my ground level room - bathroom kept well stocked with amenities and clean towels. Breakfast was free / and there was definitely plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. Coffee station open 24/7 too. The one REALLY annoying thing was the smell which came into my room almost every evening (and sometimes mornings) - while I’m not sure of the laws in Florida and don’t want to judge anyone’s choices - but I felt nauseous with the stench of marijuana. It was really strong! This is the only reason I’d never stay again. Such a pity as this little gem of a place to stay is great with such wonderful staff.

The staff at the Front Desk and the breakfast lady were awesome! The general cleanliness of the property in the front was good. However, the room I had could be updated. The bathroom door stuck and looked battered.

Hotel was ok, clean but older. Door to bathroom was off the hinges so it could not close all the way. Pool view room was “close” to the pool, but no view of the pool. Most of the crowd are waiting for their cruise to depart, which must be EARLY morning! Breakfast is only from 6am-9am, which is too early to stop serving. Very little options for dining in walking distance.

Breakfast was very minimal. I was surprised that there was no bacon, which seems unusual for hotels in the US. There weren't many fruits or options overall, but it was acceptable. Overall, it's a good place for a night or two if you just need somewhere to sleep.

Another excellent hotel service and parking

The hotel overall was updated and nice. Because we were traveling with our dog we were happy to see that the room had hardwood floors! However, the floors just seemed like they weren’t very clean. Our feet were always super dirty from walking on the floors, which was indicated each time we got in the shower and could see all the dirt washing away. Even when we asked to have the room cleaned one day it didn’t seem to solve the problem. Everyone working there was super nice and welcoming and if not for the dirty floors we would probably consider staying there again.

Our room was very nice except the door lock was broken. The next day we move and the tv was broken. The maintenance man tried to fix it and then dropped it. Moved us to another room and a small roach was crawling on the bed. We stayed in that room but not happy about the bugs. Found 2 more dead ones on the door in the bathroom.

It's always a nice stay at La Quinta Inn Cypress Creek! The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast they provide is delicious and the variety of foods isn't what you'd expect to get from a hotel. My family and I choose this hotel each time we have an outing or getaway.

While our initial check-in process was smooth, our overall experience was severely undermined by critical service failures and unacceptable comfort issues. Firstly, our room experienced ongoing comfort issues, notably the excessive noise from both the air conditioning unit and the mini-refrigerator, which significantly disrupted our sleep and general rest. However, the main issue, which far supersedes these comfort problems, occurred on the second night Around 11:50 PM, our young son woke up vomiting. This created a considerable and urgent mess involving the duvet, bed linens, and the floor. We immediately called the front desk requesting cleaning assistance. We were informed that housekeeping services were unavailable at that hour. It is unacceptable for a reputable hotel to lack emergency cleaning support, especially concerning biohazardous messes like vomit, regardless of the late hour. My spouse and I were forced to spend a significant portion of the night, when we should have been resting, cleaning the affected area ourselves with limited in-room supplies. This severely ruined our stay and overall vacation experience.

Also, there is no soundproofing in the rooms. I could hear people outside and in the hallways very clearly. The tv from the room next door was also loud. The A/C unit also made this loud dripping/cracking noise when it turned off.

First of all the staff at the hotel told us that we would get a double bed handicap accessible room. I sent my niece there to make sure and they showed her the room while she video called us to see it. I even put it on the hotels.com app that says they will send it over to the hotel. When we arrived they said the room wasn’t ready due to the air conditioning being out. Then they said that they never got anything saying that we needed a handicap room. My mother is handicapped and had a difficult time with the bathroom. It could have been a real problem if she would’ve fell in that shower. With no railing or seat I had to try and help her while washing. The manager said that they would comp us one night and as of today I don’t see it off the bill. I think that was to get us out of her face. I will be making some calls about this. The cleaning staff did their best with what they had. They were friendly helpful and I know it’s not their fault that we had a roach come out on our last night there. Not a big roach but an infestation type. The door to the bathroom kept getting stuck and was loud. The room was so patched up that it did not look like the pictures. I’m so disappointed from the start of our trip driving 9 hours with no other options at the last minute to the last night that I don’t think I would use this app for my bookings in the future. I would recommend that if the hotel has limited handicap rooms, to notify the customer days in advance if it’s out of order.

Very close to Inter Miami's home stadium, just 15 mins walk. So this hotel has always been my choice whenever I come to Fort Lauderdale for a Inter Miami match. Lot of parking available, lot of fast food options within 5 mins walking distance. The stadium itself is just 15 mins walk. The morning hot breakfast is nice as well.

Low and behold, next day, I check my bank account and there are 2 deposits pending on my bank account. I called hotel. They said they could not help and transferred me to customer care. They hung up on me before I got to speak to anyone. Called them back, only to be told they couldn't help and that I needed to return to the hotel and talk to them. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. They need to do better hiring.

I reported the issue to the staff, but it took two full days before it was fixed. While the staff was too friendly , the delay in addressing the problem was frustrating and impacted the overall comfort of the stay.

The Hotel is perfectly located for those going to Chase Stadium. The general look is very nice, large reception area, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Limit is the lift, slow and not "smart". Parking is available, breakfast very minimal but enough. In generakl the hotel needs renovation, but is well kept and staff is helpful.

The place definitely felt a bit old and stuffy, and the hallways and elevator were pretty damp. The bathrooms could use some updates, especially the shower. On the bright side, the staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the stay a little better.

Generally a good hotel for the price. Pool and hot tub are good with provided towels. Beds ok, but not for people with bad backs. Tv had many unworkable features but would have been excellent. But I hate places that turn down hit water at night. Very hot during the day, lukewarm at night. Unacceptable. Too bad cuz its a good budget hotel and close to Wilton manors.

Hotel is ideally situated for attending inter Miami which is what we booked it for. Was roughly 15 min walk each way. Staff was friendly and the free Car park was ideal. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and messy and short on options but as it was free can’t complain too much. Overal happy with our stay and would deffo recommend if your visiting that region.

The air condition in rooms 114 and 130 wasn’t working as well. Recommend upgrading the air conditioning system. Rooms were never cold even when the thermostat was adjusted. Also, the door is very hard to open you have to push your body toward the door and apply pressure to get in. Other than that the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lastly please tell your room attendants if you have the check out list don’t come knocking on guest doors at 8am in the morning asking them the same questions when I can see you’re looking at the list.

Overall looks goods, nice to stay when going to a match at Chase Stadium.

The tub was filthy and drained was blocked. Had to use husband’s flip flops to take a shower. There were hairs, soil or sand and backup water. The room AC only made noise but did not cool the room. The only positive was the counter staff, which were helpful and pleasant. Won’t stay again and would not recommend.

Have stayed here numerous times in order to visit family and friends. The renovations look great. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Love the new pancake machine, though it wasn't working properly. The staff member working breakfast was very nice. We will continue to stay here when we visit.
