Quaint boutique hotel. Outdoor area was very nice. AC unit never got my room really cool and it didn’t stay on consistently. My room was tight and small. Couldn’t unpack my suitcase, there were no drawers in the room to store clothes and no hangers in the closet. The hardwood floors could be cleaned better.

The walls were paper thin. With the upstairs guest we could hear everything... walking, bags moving, toilet flushing... being woken up at midnight by things slamming around and a "pool party" and the bed squeaking with every move also kinda sucked.

Very private, cozy room, great location close to beach and dining. Easy 20 min walk to alot of stuff, staff very friendly and helpful, very clean accommodation. The walls were paper thin. Everything was amazing. I had an emergency and had to check out one day early and couldn’t get a refund on my last day but that’s not their fault. Just because I booked through hotels.com and hotels.com couldn’t refund my day

An absolute gem!

We always stay at North Beach Village when we come to visit. La Casa was new to us and provided to ultimate experience. It was peaceful, clean, friendly, and accommodating. The staff was always available, the pool was clean, they provided towels without asking. Shops, and restaurants all walking distance, and there’s always something to do. We can’t wait to come back!

I didn’t like and maybe because I use to work for a hotel, but the cleanliness wasn’t the best I ended up having to tell the office I need them to come back, as I was cleaning our bed with Lysol and such I notice there wasn’t a fitted sheet just a sheet tucked under the mattress, the box spring was dirty/dingy so that made me cringe, the pool was not heated so we couldn’t relax in there at night during the day either really it’s shaded for the most part. So it still was cold. Needs some TLC and updating. They tried to charge us parking but there is literally no private or designated parking for this particular hotel, and it made it worse it was spring break leaving in your car coming back to no fore sure parking not knowing if your in a tow zone and your 4 hrs away from home uneasy.

Great amenities & staff. Very close to beach & lots of restaurants nearby. Condition of the property was not great (soundproofing was non-existamt) but still a great spot overall

Super cute and quiet property. Gorgeous little pool area and very comfortable lounge chairs made for great days relaxing. I loved the small outdoor gym, too. Our room was really spacious and pretty. Housekeeping was a little hit or miss. Some days we had full service (made bed, fresh towels) and some days we just got a bag dropped with fresh towels and replacement toilet paper. It was not a big inconvenience, just a little odd.

The room was large and very comfy. I loved the color pallet of the hotel. The pool was incredibly clean. The grounds were adorable and everything was such a close walk. It took an hour to check in. There was a line of frustrated customers and the desk attendant kept leaving to go check on rooms.

location was convenient. pool was nice, fountain in courtyard was not on for entire stay which was regrettable. the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. i can often sleep in chair, but the chair provided was not at all comfortable. also no extra blanket in room. help at desk extremely slow the mattress was AWFUL

Ac made to much noise also dripped on the head board cockroaches all over the bathroom floor and some in the bedroom you’ve been checking in. wasn’t so friendly? i’m excepting some type of refund probably the second worst room I’ve ever had.

The nicest part of it is the little common pool and patio area in the front; it's clean, decorated well and private away from the main road. The king bed itself was hard and fairly uncomfortable personally but nothing more than a slight inconvenience; same can be said for the small TV being incredibly far from the head of the bed, but TV isn't exactly important in a hotel room to me. Parking is probably my biggest issue, it's $10 a night to just park on the side of the street, and if the area is crowded during your stay, you'll probably park in the grass like I did. Highly recommended for a night or two getaway at affordable prices

The property is nice, but dated. The room had closets but no hangers. Quite a few shelves. No seating, no suitcase rack (we used an ironing board). The shower drained very slowly. The bed was comfortable.

It was only a few blocks from the beach. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the space was cozy and comfortable. The only issue was the water would not drain from the shower basin. The facility needs to repair their drainage system. Other than that inconvenience, the facility should receive a high rating.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Very clean, friendly, and attentive staff. Spend 1 full day relaxing by the pool. It felt like an oasis within busy Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back!

Arriving at the hotel was an adventure because we did not know where the check in office was. It was located down the street at another hotel. The maid did not know much English to guide us. The hotel group this location belongs to (North Village) has several restaurants in the area, a wine and garden spot for the evenings, a store, a fantastic breakfast coffee/bakery restaurant and a juice/smoothie bar. Room was great (King deluxe) staff was friendly and attentive.

Safe wasn't working. No power in the bathroom hairdryer wouldn't work. Other then that it was okay.

The only drawback was the stopper in the bathroom sink would not stay open. I had to use a toothpick to keep it open enough for the water to drain.

Room was clean and people were nice. A few items needed to be repaired (see pictures) and the pool filter didn’t appear to be running as the water level was a bit low which left some floaters. That said the price was fair and the bed comfortable.

Many things need upgrading at the property like non working hairdryer from 1970’s. Bathroom sink , and bathroom windows broken seals , could use new vanities and closet re-doing . Basically livable but super old property. Some things were upgraded, but do not match the old stuff.

The room was very small. The internet did not work at all. The door to the entrance of the place was not locked. A/C which is on the upper wall was not clean. The tv is just a Roku TV and it did not work because no internet. The place is older. The pool was dirty. If you go there, the office is a few building down hard to fine.

My mother and I stayed in mid-March, and even though it was during the peak of "spring break", we found the hotel to be quite pleasant. The room was very spacious with a desk, and a nice couch with coffee table. The courtyard with fountain and chairs and tables is a nice place to spend time. The staff are very friendly and responsive.

It was very quiet and we felt we had the whole pool area to ourselves which was nice and relaxing. The 1 bedroom suite we booked though was not as pictured and the main floor unit was quite noisy with next-door and upstairs neighbors easily heard through the walls and ceiling.

The fountain ran all night long making it nearly impossible to sleep! They need to turn it off in the evening. Location was great for walking to the beach and nearby hotels.

Checked in to a room and was attacked by a dog in the room that was already occupied. They gave us another room but that one was next to the loud constantly barking dog AND the shower did not drain.

It was not like the pictures you saw on line. A lot older, not as pretty. Funny smell in room. Poor lighting in room. Old air conditioner. Dirty pools. Old shower.

The location is fantastic. A few blocks (4) from the beach. Maybe a 5 minute walk. Walking options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Smaller place, peaceful away from the huge crowds. I actually had the place to myself for a majority of the time. Pool was great.

Me and my partner enjoyed a 4 day stay and it was very nice. Within walking distance of beach and pools to accommodate all visitors. The pictures on site are a bit outdated, because everything seemed much nicer. Office is open 24/7 and always responds by text. Overall great stay!

Nice little hotel but definitely needed some repairs in the room. Small bits of mold flew out of the AC. Shower didn’t drain well.

We came from VA for a wedding and stayed an extra few days to explore the area. The hotel is located close to a lot of restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. We did not find any vending machines or ice machines on site, but there were several stores close and a CVS about 15 minutes (walking) away.

rang the bell many, many times and called the number. No response. He came to the door 10 mins later then told me to park in a place where someone else had gotten towed. Thankfully I was forewarned and moved my car. The room itself was clean and nice but customer service terrible.

The room was clean & updated. You get what you pay for. One bar of soap for shower & to use at sink. We arrived early in a downpour to see if we could check in early. They allowed us to check in for a $35 fee. So our group of 8 paid for us to have one room to put luggage in. He told us to come back at 12:30pm to get the other keys even though our rooms were ready. I get it we were early & check in is 3pm, but most reputable hotels will allow you to check in if the rooms ready.

Check in was crazy - office is not manned and you need to call button on the door to get assistance. When assistance came, I greeted the girl who walked right passed me? Once in the office no conversation was had except for ID and Credit card. We went to the room and it smelled, went back to the office found the assistant who after a breif conversation just walked out of the office? toward our building. Went back to the building and he was not there? Back to the office where she spoke and said she didnt smell anything ... long story to get to we got a different room, above a couple who either works at the hotel or is squatting on the property. Both nights or should I say mornings, Sat and Sun 0300 woke to music blaring- had to bang on the floor to get it lowered ... told the assistant at check out and was told there have been other complaints about this resident. I was in 1201 and I would avoid that room for now.

Back to the office where she spoke and said she didnt smell anything ... long story to get to we got a different room, above a couple who either works at the hotel or is squatting on the property. Both nights or should I say mornings, Sat and Sun 0300 woke to music blaring- had to bang on the floor to get it lowered ... told the assistant at check out and was told there have been other complaints about this resident. I was in 1201 and I would avoid that room for now.

Chose to book this location due to a nice aesthetic of the hotel and promixity to the beach. Little did we know that the poor reviews for service were extremely accurate. On the morning of our check-in to the hotel we were moved to another "sister property" due to overbooking. The sister property was around the corner and not nearly as nice, but the price was the same. It was an obvious Bait and Switch. They seemed to use their nicer property to overbook and then move people to a lesser hotel. We were told over the phone that the property was overbooked and under renovation. When we walked by La Casa after being moved, the hotel didn't have any renovations going outside or inside the units from what we could tell. La Casa only had 12 units max so it seemed like they probably get overbooked and do this alot. The check-in process was terrible, there is no one on site and you have to call and wait 15-20 min for someone to get to the hotel to check you in. The inside of the hotel units didn't even have proper cable and very slow wifi. I had to connect to my own hotspot off my phone to send an email. The cable is Roku TV which doesn't have any of the normal basic channels, sports, etc. and you have to log in to your own Netflix/Hulu etc if you want to watch anything. The walls needed to be repainted, every room had black scuff all over. Lastly the owners threw there own family/friends party in the courtyard blocking access to pool. I wouldn't recommend

I rang the doorbell multiple times and called multiple times with text messages, as well, through the app. No one responded or came and did not return my call the next day as well until I made another attempt myself. Eventually they admitted it was there problem and that their staff "goes home at 11PM". I said that the instructions were clear about midnight check in and how to do so.

The room was very nice, except it had ants and a huge cockroach showed up in the room too. The bathtub area needed some work. Other than that we loved the room itself.

The hotel is part of a bigger village - you could use all their properties amenities. Ours had the nicest pool but it definitely needs to be refinished. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. However - the bathroom had a pretty bad mold in the shower and small black bugs. Also there was no comforter or blanket in the room just 2 sheets. This is in a great location with lots of restaurants.

No staff cleaning the rooms daily, as well as no one at the main office to check us in so we waited with our luggage for 15 minutes before someone came, pool was dirty

Parking is difficult. There just isn't hardly enough for 6 cars on the street. The location is good. Walkable to everything.

I arrived late ( solo ) and Dan was so kind & met me out in the parking lot to walk me to my room ( offered to carry my luggage even too ! ) room was perfect - cool small outdoor pool , outdoor eating , grill area , cute mini kitchen and very comfy bed - hot shower , clean bathroom . Places to eat a few blocks ( 5 min walk ) to beach w great pizza, middle eastern & Tai food , CVS all within 15 min walk ,3 min min ride . Publix 5 min drive , 15 min from airport. A great choice !!!

In reference to cleaning, the rooms looked very clean, i loved it! However, at around 4AM in my sleep, i felt something crawling on my face and woke me up and i slapped myself twice and jump off the bed to turn the light on a saw the bug crawling, and it was a large roach. I immediately called the office and a very nice gentleman came over, brought me water, found the roach and took it out for me. Of course, I couldn't sleep anymore, sicked of my stomach and scared to fall asleep and have another bug crawl on me. I was a zombie all day with no rest. Everything else was perfect. Very nice place to stay. It's like a home away from home and between walking distance, about two blocks from the beach!

Friendly service at front desk. Everything was great, except the mold in the shower. Heavy mold on the caulking in the shower. If hat wasn't there. The stay would have been exceptional for a 2.5 star hotel

Negative: one night a couple had 2-3 AM conversation by the pool.

What started as a romantic birthday trip for my wife turned into a nightmare. This particular hotel mistakenly checked another couple into the room I reserved for our weekend. Imagine our shock when we enter the room only to see a disheveled bed and the belongings of another couple. I go back to the office to inform the clerk that the room was currently occupied. He apologizes, explaining why it’s the fault of the previous clerk. He takes the room keys and programs them to open a different room. I proceed to the new room. I open the door. And guess what I see.....? A suitcase, a flat iron, another occupied room!!!! After this, my wife and I left. We cancelled the room and requested a refund. Didn’t feel safe there at all.

The rooms seem really great at first! The space is really nice and there’s a pool in the courtyard. It was very hard to check in as the number to call that was left on the office door, which was also very hard to find, was not reaching anyone for a solid 10 minutes. Once we got to the room, the bathroom locked a little gross but we thought this is still a nice room. Upon leaving and trying to help remove sheets etc., we found that the fitted sheet was actually a flat she and that the mattress underneath was very stand… I’ll leave that to your imagination.

This property is a good budget stay if that is what you're looking for! Close to the beach - 5 min walk and close to a couple other shops. Cute public space with a nice pool, grill and chairs to lay out on! The rooms are pretty basic - no extra attention in them, they were fine. The bed was not the most comfortable but worked for us!

The staff was terrible. I went to the receptions desk many times during normal business hours and there was never anyone there , the office was locked and the office number always went to voicemail. There are no designated parking spots available so if you rent a car you can spend 30 mins just to find a parking spot in walking distance. There are allot better place to stay for the same price.

Loved to stay at la casa. The beach and a nice breakfast place were in walking distance. The room was spacious and had a nice interior. It was perfect for me and my boyfriend. Only minus is that the room haven't had a blow dryer.

The location was great near the beach the room was very nice but I received no room cleaning services and had to call to get clean towels and for trash removal

Great little jem in Lauderdale!

Could be cleaner in unit. No phone in room. No onsite presence of staff. I could see some travellers being concerned with security/safety.
