The staff was amazing. The room was very clean. We stayed one night on route elsewhere The next day. The only downside was the constant slamming of doors and loud voices at night, and thats not the fault of the staff.

The first night we had a room across from the ice machine and pool entrance. We asked for a quieter room for our second night. They were able to switch our room. Great sleep the second night. The staff will do what they can for you.

I stayed in the King Room with Sofa Bed on a high floor. The room was spacious, and I especially appreciated the work desk, which allowed me to work comfortably during my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall room layout was excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit.I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel. The air conditioning unit is somewhat noisy, which can be a bit disruptive at night. I had seen other reviews mentioning the breakfast area, but I personally found it perfectly adequate. The main downside, in my view, is that breakfast service ends at 9:30 a.m. For guests on vacation who may wish to sleep in a little, this can be inconvenient. I would suggest extending breakfast hours until 10:00 or even 10:30 a.m., allowing guests to enjoy a more relaxed morning without worrying about missing breakfast.

For anyone staying overnight before a cruise this is the best spot. Free breakfast. 2 miles from airport and 1 mile from the Disney terminal. Clean and comfortable.

Rooms are really clean. The only thing I did not like, the sink is outside of the bathroom. Not inside with the toilet and shower.

No complaints. No SHUTTLE TO MIAMI PIER. an airport suttle was 10.00 pp. Some uber/lyfe was cheaper. But overall breakfast made up for the "shuttle service" it looks like it maybe free airport service when they use "surcharge" to pier you expect to pay to the cruise port...

From the time we entered the door we were greeted with smiles. There was a line but it moved quickly. The newly renovated rooms were beautiful and spacious. They had mini fridges but no microwaves. The Starbucks coffee options at the lobby bar were an added touch. Checkout was easy. Again departed with smiles at the counter. And the convenience of location to the port was also a huge win.

Nice place to stay walkable to the convention center. Nice food options walkable as well, la Vida Pura, Starbucks, Panera for good fast options. Appreciated that there are laundry facilities for guests. Nice comfortable lobby area with snacks for purchase, that was great as I arrived very early and needed to wait a couple hours to get into my room.

Very large room & clean. Staff was very friendly & nice. The lobby seemed a little small for how busy the were but that’s my only concern.

In overall, the hotel was good, but after staying at several Hyatt properties in Asia, my expectations were much higher. The room was clean and the location is convenient, but the overall experience felt basic and not up to the usual Hyatt standard — especially for the price. I was expecting a more extraordinary stay, but it fell a bit short.

I felt very mislead about an extra $100 "cleaning fee" charge for my dog to stay with us. I specifically booked this hotel because it was dog friendly. I paid $115 for the night and the extra charge was almost as much as I paid for the room. I think this charge would be justified if the room needed cleaning because of my dog, but not just because. She's 12 pounds and was in the room for 12 hours.

The service at front desk was HORRIBLE the agents had an attitude when I checked in not friendly at all and when my cousin arrived on the later check in they wouldn't let her in. Front desk receptionist was watching Television as if she were at home with a BONNET ON HER HEAD. THE POCTURE IN THE ADVERTISING SHOWS YHE BEACH THE BEACH WAS 10 MINUTES AWAY NO VIEWS AT ALL. I CHECKED OUT EARLY AND GOT ANOTHER HOTEL

We stayed here one night before flying out of FLL. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and suite was spacious. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast was fine not great not horrible. Mediocre. Staff was fine when we checked in. We arrived back in Ft. Lauderdale and needed temporary storage for luggage. Called and asked if we could they said yes. Arrived at hotel then said they can’t because manager said they couldn’t accommodate and for “safety reasons” they could not accept luggage which makes zero sense because we stayed there 3 days prior. Wasted 30 dollars on an uber. Had I been told on the phone no that’s one thing but to be told yes then turned away when you arrive is unacceptable

The room had no functioning curtains was right in front of a streetlight. It looked like daylight in our room at 10pm. The staff had no empathy whatsoever. We even asked for something to cover the window and our request was rejected. I’m am almost 8 months pregnant and was in Fort Lauderdale for an important course that I really needed to be rested and prepared for. Jessica at the front desk said she was going to still charge me for the night. I would have understood if she said let me talk to a manager tomorrow and see what I can do for you, but she was so rude and adamant that she would not be refunding the room. Having to pay for a room that I did not use, then pay top dollar for a room last minute is a lot of money for me. I went outside to call Expedia and my credit card company to see if there was anything I could do in the process. She locked the front doors and I was left outside and we were forced to drive around Fort Lauderdale at night to try to find another hotel at midnight. It was a horrible experience horrible customer service.

Breakfast was okay, not a lot of seating. The rooms apparently did not have sound barriers. You could here every noise amplified in the hallways. A/C units sounded like cars rolling overhead, whenever they come on. Plus there was a sound in the room I could not identify in the room, like a whirring noise. the good news is that I only had to stay there for one night. Close to cruise ship ports and they did have a small pool.

At midnight someone was banging on our door, they were so intoxicated. That just ruined the stay

Easy check-in. Front desk staff was amazing. We loved the location and how close it was to the outback steakhouse. However, Breakfast was pretty empty and not stocked well. The breakfast attendant was talking and telling us how it was his first day doing it as soo many were waiting for food to be restocked. The fridge in our room was not cold. The lobby/breakfast area is small, it was very hard to find a spot to eat.

The location. It was a very short driving distance to the beach and to the airport. Recently renovated and we could tell everything was new? Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Provide breakfast (should put turkey meat on the menu thou because we don’t eat pork) food still was good and cooks We’re very apologetic because they didn’t have any turkey sausage. No cons really we paid $201.00 for only 1 night but booking online was fast cheaper than paying inside the hotel and very fast

The location was good, room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was the breakfast selection being limited and bottled water was outrageously expensive. Hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle with the selection offered. We aren’t asking for fine dining but healthy breakfast items like whole grain bread would be nice.

Hyatt Fort Lauderdale welcoming staff and beautful furnishing appointments was top notched and room rate, which includes complimentary breakfast, was very affordable.

We checked in late night the front desk was pretty clueless but made it work no complaints. Room was clean . However it was 40 degrees outside and the heat didn’t work. When I stated that they said o yea a bunch of rooms complained. So seems like the hotel locked the units to not be able to use the heat

My only minor issue was the breakfast experience on "cruise days." The seating area was overcrowded, and it was hard to find a spot. While the staff replenished the food often, some items like the French toast were cold by the time I got them. Also, with the main toaster out of commission, the line for the single backup toaster was quite long. Despite the breakfast rush, it's a wonderful hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

The check in was quick and efficient. They were both very helpful. The room was clean and large. Breakfast ended before we could get down there. We had coffee and while we were gone they cleaned our room even though we asked not to. The room was on the second floor and if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the best option. I would recommend and stay there again.

Everything was great! Slight annoyance of being near the elevator and kids screaming in the hallway, along with pool area could do with some cleaning up of leaves and debris from getting in pool. Neither net left at pool todo that ourselves.

Quick check in, clean and updated room, and my daughter loved using the pool.

The hotel was fully under construction when we arrived and the workers told us it had been for a month. We were not notified of this and it created an inconvenience with clean space to move around, very limited space to get in and out of the building, and reception desk had no room to move around it.

I enjoyed my stay overnight before boarding my cruise. It was great that they allow cruise parking for hotel guest and reasonable priced shuttle from hotel to port. The newly renovated rooms were very clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. My biggest peeve was the workers doing the lobby/1st Fl renovations had no consideration for customers. The work signage didn’t fully match what was taking place. Walking around on stilts plastering during the busiest part of the day, by the solo operating guest elevator. As a retired facility manager, I feel it could have been done at a different non peak time. We still loved it for beauty, closeness to activities, the pier and the beautiful staff. We’ll be back.

I wish somebody would've told me that the place was under complete renovation. The place was disgusting. it should've been shut down for renovation walking through what we had to walk through was terrible. Would advise nobody to stay there. Let's talk about the elevators dirty slow scary. I'd advise anybody not to stay there.

Our stays in the past were excellent but this time they were under construction and after flying for 10hrsi just wanted to have a drink, eat and go to my room to relax, but the bar and restaurant were closed due to the construction so i had to walk a couple of blocks to get something to eat. I feel they should've let me know about the remodel before i arrived. When we got to our room i needed to use the desk but there was no chair so called down and was told they ordered new ones but hadn't arrived yet. We went to bed early and there was banging noise from construction and our room was next to the elevator and could hear a humming noise from it all night.

When we booked this hotel it was strictly for the amenities and convenience for cruisers. However, we were never contacted and advised of the MAJOR renovations taking place. We could not even get a bottle of water.

Expedia needs to issue me a refund a.s.a.p. The hotel is an active, LOUD, and very dangers construction site. Hyatt should not allow employees or guests on site. I took pictures and video and will be submitting this information to OSHA. I will be accusing Hyatt and Expedia of violating safety regulations enforced by OSHA. Hyatt employees are made to work in deplorable conditions and their extreme negativity, hostility, and stress is apparent. Who do I contact at Expedia for a full refund. This was the WORST hotel experience EVER!!!!!

Room was good until we had no hot water for shower. Room used for breakfast was very crowded and seemed dusty due to construction. We should have been alerted about construction. Due to construction dust, we started our 12 day cruise with a construction alergy type nasel problem.

Had no idea this hotel was under construction as I booked this months ago. I can understand a few renovations but this is a full on construction zone. It was loud, chaotic, and very messy. Exposed ceiling wires, debris covering the floors, and the breakfast was in a tiny conference room with no where to sit and subpar food. Also was woken up very early in the morning by loud hammering from construction. I wish there would have been a little courtesy to send a message to upcoming guests about the extent of this construction. I would have cancelled and booked somewhere that was actually worth the price.

To be fair, they’re under renovations, but to be honest it was a little much. The construction work and traffic in main lobby was insane! The staff was super friendly, my room was perfect and clean . I loved how they provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They had a nice safe fo me to keep my things in, small fridge to keep a few things in, a desk and cozy couch. I slept like a rock, except being woke up by construction drilling and knocking at 8am. That was a little annoying, but I get it. They’re making the hotel better.

Got in very late from airport- hotel staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, even at 1 am. Breakfast was crowded, definitely need more seating somehow. Room was clean, got a great night sleep. We would go back.

I am super frustrated with this stay. They were in a HUGE renovation! To where the front desk was a banquet table , walls and cables were exposed and cardboard /paper covered the floors. There were signs everywhere that the pool wasn’t available which I would not have booked here if I would have known it would be closed and it was going to be such a big renovation. The lights didn’t fully work, the sink cabinet literally fell off while we were sitting on the beds. There was drilling so loud in early morning that it was shaking the room and the lights flickered! I literally recorded it! The room numbers on the walls were falling off. We couldn’t call the front desk so when I went to the front desk/table , they just said sorry it’s a renovation and pretty much just offered free parking as a joke of compensation. If we were planning to stay longer than one night then we would have changed hotels. It was awful! I will not stay here again

During our stay, they were doing a big remodel, so lots of sounds during construction hours (9am-6pm). It was quiet and we got a good night’s rest. Publix, TJ Maxx, and eateries were near by via a 5-10min walk. Breakfast was good too. Rooms were outdated, but very very spacious.

They really should have closed the entire hotel while renovations were going on. We arrived on a Sunday and there was construction noise the entire day until around 5:30pm. I booked months ago and was told reno's should be completed by my arrival at the time. I was charged full price for the room. Had to go to the main lobby for toilet paper, the girl on the front desk was annoyed that I made her go get me one. Lot's of dust and only one working elevator all day due to the construction. I feel I should be reimbursed for part of my stay since I booked two rooms.

This property is under construction, which we did not find out until we checked in. This means it was full of construction workers, loud, messy, only one elevator working, pool out of use, temporary (very average) breakfast etc.

My family booked two rooms for an overnight trip while waiting to go on a cruise. Only to be met with a hotel under construction that we were not notified about. Upon checking you could not hear the staff talking over all the loud noise from construction. The main lobby was nonexistent due to the tear up and construction workers. There was dust everywhere. We checked in went to our room where the noise was extremely loud until at least 6pm. There was one elevator working for the whole hotel, plastic lined the hallway floors. And after traveling all day we were unable to get any rest due to the noise. The next morning they had a complementary breakfast that was held in a boardroom with food on hot plates and not toaster available for bread/bagels that were provided. To say our family was disappointed would be an understatement. I feel that we should have been contacted regarding the state of the hotel so we could arrange another hotel. Instead we paid the original price for a poor stay and poor conditions.

There was construction going on in many places of the hotel. The staff did not warn us of any work hours of the construction. It’s a good thing we didn’t have to be up early. The power tools never gave you a chance after 7 AM on a Saturday. The nature was definitely hardhat required safety boundary stuff where not only workers could get hurt, but I certainly could too. When my wife mentioned OSHA these scattered like cockroaches. It got really uncomfortable from there. Glad we got on our bus and left.

We've stayed here before and had a great experience but this time was a hot mess. Not only was the construction a pain, but there was nasty dried blood on the back of our room door by the room latch. It was something else.

We stayed before our cruise. Great breakfast. Easily able to walk to dinner. Short drive to Park n go to drop our car and catch shuttle to cruise port!

We were not notified that the building was under construction and in the middle of updating. Thankfully we are just staying one night and the room was clean.

The hotel is in the early stages of what I was told would be a complete overhaul. Even though I was only there for one night, that would’ve been helpful to know prior to check-in. Rooms are very dated and because of that don’t feel super clean, although nothing was truly dirty, just old. The bed was ok. The shower was honestly painful. High pressure is fine but there was only one showerhead setting and that seemed to be “nails shooting into my body.” I’ve never wanted a shower to end so quickly in my life. I hope those get changed in the upgrade. The service at both check-in and check-out was wonderful and there was a security guard out front at night, which made me feel safe when checking in alone later in the evening.

My stay was two one nighters on the front and back end of trip. The building was being updated and we knew that going in. The help was fantastic with help and overall plesantry. My only surprise was transportation to and from the airport there was a charge. The web site insinuated it was free. All good

The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious (it wasn't a suite), and it had a very large sofa and computer desk area. The shower was huge! Restaurants, shopping and entertainment were within walking distance. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better stay.

I already shared about our stay and don’t want to go into it again. I would never stay there again and wouldn’t rec it either.

Brianna at the front desk was wonderful! We arrived early right off from a cruise and she got into action. Let us drop our bags, get a text if a room opened up. She warned us it might be an hour or two and invited us to eat breakfast gave us a map of things close by or let us change to bathing suits to get into the pool. 30 mins later room was ready! Thank you for your help! The hotel is under construction outdated but was fine for an overnight stay.

Was an amazing experience. Came in early and was helped to store my luggage’s, ate breakfast and room was made available within an hour. Was really impressed.

The day staff at the front desk has room for improvement. The top floors were under construction but don’t recall this was mentioned on the website when booking. Some hotels we searched mentioned anything going on at the property. The sink was clogged/not draining properly, looked like there was mold around the bathroom trim.

Pool was dirty, hotel was outdated. But the breakfast was really good, it was fine for one night. Room was clean but the pull out sofa was broken.

We found out after arrival that there was a major renovation underway at the hotel. Rooms were clean, existing, I assume pre-renovation, restroom was very hard to maneuver in. Some staff were quite responsive, some others didn't seem to care.

Overall staff was friendly and helpful..hotel was ok..bathroom was not the cleanest, if the stay was more than a night, I would have asked to change room but as we were only there for a few hour post our cruise and really only used the toilet and sink area.

There is a construction going on. When we asked one of the staff when the construction will finish because of the noise affecting us sleeping. Instead of explaining, she responded “if you are not happy, you can find another accommodation”. Throughout the two nights of our stay, we did not even see a smile on any of the staff. Super Rude. Will not stay here again. Will NOT recommend anyone.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, soft beds. Bathroom was nice. Shower was great with plenty of water preasure. We arrived late and staff was very helpful with suggestions for supper. I definitely would stay again.

Staff was nice enough, bit not very helpful at breakfast and the layout for breakfast made it crowded and inconvenient. They are doing construction, so hopefully dated rooms will be refreshed and the great space better used.

I was originally supposed to check in at 3:00 PM, but I arrived at 7:30 PM four hours later and my room still wasn’t ready. The room was uncomfortably hot, the sheets had an unpleasant odor, and the shower was in terrible condition. I do not intend to stay here again.

While making reservations, I was told the airport/cruise shuttle was complimentary. It was definitely not.

The check in was easy and friendly..the room was very clean and cozy we absolutely love the pull out bed..breakfast was the same everyday so maybe a diverse buffet would have been appreciated.

We arrived and found that the hotel is being renovated. There was no notification ahead of time for this. The noise was not an issue since they stopped working the construction at 6pm. The problem is, there's 2 elevators and one was reserved/blocked only for construction crew. On check out day, we were trying to get downstairs to catch our prebooked Uber to the cruise port and after waiting more than 10 minutes for an elevator since every time it stopped on our floor, it was full, we ended up having to drag 3 large pieces of luggage down the stairs. This was very disappointing. I am a travel advisor and would have loved being able to recommend this hotel to my clients based on location and proximity to the cruise port, but unfortunately, due to the elevator issue, I can't in good conscience do that. The room was fairly clean but the shower pressure was terrible. It was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable.

I booked this property last minute and upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk by a staff member who informed me about ongoing construction that would cause noise until 6 PM. The elevators were dusty from the construction, and only one was available for guests. Within five minutes of arriving in my room, the fire alarm went off twice. When I went downstairs to check on the situation, the front desk staff member reacted indifferently, saying, "Yeah, so?" I decided to leave after being there for about 10 minutes.

Our room was very worn, including carpet and the bathroom. Felt need to wear shoes in the shower. When we opened the soda bed, it had dirty, stained sheets on it. Front desk states there was no one available to put on fresh sheets until I got very pushy and then magically someone could help us. Lobby was not clean during breakfast, everything sticky and covered in food pieces and dirty dishes, long after families would finish at a table. Also saw nothing about the renovation when booking.

Overall the staff was excellent. My room was changed due to the AC not working with no issues at all. I appreciated that so much. Thank you!!

Even though the property is undergoing some renovations, it's very quiet. Convenient because they allow cruise parking and offer a shuttle to the cruise terminals however you MUST call the hotel and request this.

They were remodeling during our stay, but it was very organized and all construction stopped at 6pm every night.

A very good experience. The room was spacious and had excellent water pressure in the shower. The only negative is that it's under renovation, and Expedia didn't mention it.

The hotel is under renovation. We had 30+ contractors on our floor at 7:30AM banging, cutting, singing, yelling… had we known it was under construction we never would have stayed. Completely unacceptable.

Had no idea they are doing a full renovation of this property. They put us on the 5th floor where they are doing full renovations. There might be 3 rooms on this floor available to sleep in and they gave us one of those rooms. 30+ workers in the halls cutting, hammering and making all kinds of noise staring at 7:30AM. Would have never booked this had I known

After we got off the plane we called hyatt place for the shuttle. We were taken to a different hyatt place. When attempting to check in we learned that we were not at the correct hyatt. The front desk person laughed and said “ Oh this happens all the time.” Their shuttle could not take us to the other hyatt place which was almost 10 miles away so we had to pay an Uber driver. It was clear that the front desk staff did not care that we were at the wrong location. There are many other hotels to choose from and the message from Hyatt was clear. We will not return to the Hyatt.

it was terrible experience. i reserved 2 queen bed as i was travelling with 2 kids and my old parents. the front office told me that they cancelled my reservation even though i did not receive any communication. they said Expedia card was declined . They gave me 1 King bed for 5 guests. my parents and kids suffered.
