We stayed in a king balcony suite w a view of the canal. Room and bed were comfortable and nicely decorated. kitchen is small but sufficient. Cookware bare for anything other than eggs and sandwiches. The hose under the sink was leaking water and maintenance took care of it immediately. Nice shower. Nice outdoor space. GREAT location. Easy walk to beach or to Publix and liquor store. Water taxi stop #8 was right there. Staff were super helpful. Definitely would stay here again

The out side. Dinning by the bar on the water was nice also the games in the lobby are were nice The rooms first room they gave me the air didn't work mold all around the ac and the room was disgusting that was room 1009 the second room they gave us the air didn't work maintenance man came up to fix it he got it working but made a awful loud rattling noise he stuffed towels around it to try to silence it but didn't work finally I called management they came up to the room and I told them to listen to this this room was 928 so they moved us into another room which was room 9:30 that room was okay all in all me and my girlfriend lost 3 hours of our time that we could not spend together because of these rooms they are to be ashamed of the way these rooms are and the condition that they are in especially in the area that this hotel is in very very disappointed

The hotel smelled of mildew and marijuana. The fixtures in the room are starting to break and the wood finish is peeling off the cabinets. There were male enhancing drugs left in the closet of the room. I stayed in, which makes me think they didn’t clean thoroughly. Since I booked through Expedia, I went through them for a refund, but they told me that I should’ve contacted the hotel. I assumed this was the right step but when I had an emailed the hotel, we will see if I get a response.

The check in process was smooth, property maintained, stayed on the 3rd floor bathrooms could be cleaner. Downside, I paid for a city view that was really a view of the dingy parking lot next to the very loud bridge. You can hear very loud traffic. The city view is falsely advertised. First time staying wasn’t impressed.

No consideration for the ART of retaining quality customers service.

I have to say hotel is very beautiful in a good area you’re located by everything and the best part of it is that you’re by the beach like 10 minutes away. The staff was select excellent that’s why I keep picking this hotel every time I’ve been flat Light up three times I keep coming back to this hotel so if you wanna have fun enjoy it stuff is good nice scenery area and you right there by everything so go ahead and enjoy yourself. I stay here believe you you will have fun.

The room was run down and grimey. There was LOTS of water damage everywhere, the floor was super uneven and gross (it turned our feet black and we had to have staff clean it twice), the room smelled like mildew, the beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Everything seemed half done and cheap. We really expected so much more from a “Double Tree” property. The staff were wonderful though. They were funny, personable, helpful, and accommodating.

Customer Service is key to the Guest Experience from Valet to Check In. Improve those interactions. Also have cookies for all guests confirmed for that date or no cookies at all. Room 721 TV needs service. Channel 3 did not play well.

It’s a great location and right on the water ! The building looks fine at first glance but once you get onto the floor with rooms it smells musty, the air vents are dusty, the rooms are outdated, no smart tvs. I think it’s fine if you aren’t expecting a luxury experience and just wanna rent jet skis .. hopefully they’re pricing reflects this moving forward..

It was a horrible experience. We booked the hotel because we were getting married on a yacht that docks behind the hotel. The problems started months before. The Staff are rude and don’t care. The General Manager was insulting. Workers for the wedding were not supposed to pay to use the valet but were forced to. And then we were told that professional photographers were not allowed in the rooms to shoot the bride getting ready. This venue has 3 different yachts that book weddings every weekend. They have no concept on how to accommodate weddings. If it weren’t for the yacht docking there, I’d never had stayed. As it was I told my wedding party to book elsewhere and all out of towner special meals were planned elsewhere. The hotel definitely didn’t deserve the extra 20k in revenue. Bad management, unfriendly staff, dated building and decor. No hot water in Bride’s room. Roaches. Mold as well in one room. Don’t book here.

Place was filthy, had a musty smell, the layout was awful difficult to figure out where your room was located. Had to go in an isolated parking lot with no visible security! Horrible experience I have to reconsider staying at any double tree hotel in the future. I have been a loyal guest at double trees for at least 20yrs.

Rooms were large and spacious but well worn. The biggest negative was the cleanliness… dishes still had food on them, sheets were clean but stained, same with white towels- not clean. Windows, appliances wiped with dirty cloth leaving gross film on everything!!! Bare minimum utensils. But the layout was really nice- could be awesome if refreshed and kept to a higher standard of cleanliness! Shout out to Steve at the front desk- went out of his way to call us a taxi ride to the airport!

Location was about the only good thing The hotel’s “system” added a second hold on my card for over $900 for a three night stay. The same day, somehow an account was open in Hilton Honors with my information (I already have an account). They stated they had nothing to do with it - coincidence? I approach the desk manager and called Hilton. They said it would be investigated and they would get back with me. It has been over 5 days since the matter was reported, no answer yet.

The manager stood there while we waited and the other woman was on the phone with a customer and then had to go in the back to get someone to help us rather than handle us herself. Seems like checking in is great but then they don’t care at the front desk when you check out because they don’t care at that point, Bar staff and restaurant staff were wonderful

Everything was prestine at Galleria Doible Tree. From checking in, housekeeping, property, location to Publix’s, Starbucks, beach, and McSorley’s. Made for the best trip with three 16 year old boys. I will miss the view of the ocean and intercoastal for sure. Thank you making making SB 2026 one of the best. That’s what brings us back✈️🌴🚢☀️🌊

The hotel is in a great location, and the facilities are excellent. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful,very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only area that could be improved is the room cleanliness, as it was a bit dusty during our stay. Other than that, everything was excellent from the location and facilities to the outstanding service provided by the staff.

When I entered the room, it was visibly dirty. There was blood on the curtains, stains and debris underneath the toilet seat, and all of the kitchen appliances were covered in fingerprints and smudge marks. The overall condition of the room made it feel unsanitary and very unpleasant. I immediately brought this to the staff’s attention and asked what could be done. I was told that because the property was overbooked, there was nothing they could do. No room change, no proper resolution, and no real concern shown. This was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness is the bare minimum expectation when booking through Expedia. I would not stay here again. Be aware before booking.

As for the room itself, it was nothing special...the same or worse than other, cheaper choices..The water pressure was ridiculously low, barely a trickle. The plugs were installed such that nothing I plugged in would stay plugged in. Overall, a really scrappy experience. This Doubletree failed big time. I'm switching to Marriott next time book a hotel.

The staff was unsupported. When my husband and I arrived at the hotel, our room was not ready. We understood that we were early. They told us that they will text us when the room became available. At the front desk, the associate was not helpful and presented rude. I asked for the warm cookies and she stated that they had no more. That was incorrect as I saw cookies being handed out to other guests. Upon going to have something to eat, there was a letter informing the guests that the hotel had no heat and to ask for blankets if needed. That was my first red flag. It was nearing 3:30 p.m. when I did not hear from the hotel about my room being ready. I called the hotel and was told that it was not ready and I stated that check in is 4:00 p.m. The rude person on the phone said "let's hope it is ready." I then called Expedia customer service to let them know that I was concerned. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and I mentioned to him that there was no heat at the hotel. He called them to find out when my room would be ready and also to inquire about the heat. He was told that no hotels in Fort Lauderdale had heat. Which was not true. He did mention that if my room was not ready by 4:00 p.m. The hotel would offer compensation. I received a text at 4:06 p.m. that the room was ready. When I got to the person at the desk I mentioned to her that I had waited a long time to get a room and that I am not happy about the room not having heat. She was rude.

The property is beautiful, it’s right on the water, beautiful view and outside area is gorgeous. The rooms left a lot to be desired though. Not sure if it was just our room or not, but it felt outdated and unkept. One of the lights on the wall was damaged and the shower drain was very slow to empty. But very beautiful property, rooms just need a bit more upkeep.

I booked this hotel specifically for a hot tub because the weather was cold this week and I came from Ny for warmth - the hot tub was filthy outside looks like it’s never been washed — also there is never more than 1 person working front desk ,I waited about an hour to check in and anytime I needed anything from front desk it was always a long wait because one person only working or nobody at front desk , little frustrating

The assistant manager had 5 guest wait 5 hours before we were given a room. Beautiful hotel with a water taxi at location. I have a copy of the manifest of rooms needs to clean. You never know who knows who. My room was available and not in use. The company send me a standard message about language barrier but I speak 4 languages. Stop trying to blame the housekeepers when it was a management issue.

If you’re not planning on spending most of your time at the beach it’s a good place to stay. Very convenient for the water taxi. It was roomy and comfortable with a good restaurant with an amazing view. Staff was mixed, some were amazing, but others at check-in not friendly or helpful at all. A nearby draw bridge creates noise when one is sitting on the balcony. The lobby shows signs of wear and tear. The elevators need to be cleaned. The location on the intracostal waterway is perfect. The public water taxi stops at the hotel. The boat lights parade sailed right in front of the hotel. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.

Beyond the physical state of the building, their billing practices are incredibly deceptive. I was hit with hidden fees and overcharges that were never disclosed until after the stay. It feels like a calculated effort to squeeze every last cent out of guests who are already overpaying for a subpar room. It is clear that management has given up on maintenance and honesty, relying instead on the Hilton name to trick people into booking. Don't fall for it. Was still cold. The TV was old. It wasn’t a smart TV. They most likely had to option to pay for other channels or smartTV. There was nothing noted about valet parking on the site; which mean I had to pay for parking $55 per night. I paid to had breakfast and even then it was confusing. When you finished eating you still had to sign a bill. Luckily I spoke to them about it so they place a credit which needs to go back in my card because they initially charge me. They charge another $100 per night for potential damages fee, which should be added back to the card but this hotel has a lot of hidden fees. It is not a family hotel. It was always crowded in for of the hotel and congested with cars. I wasn’t too happy with my stay at all for all this money I paid. Never again!

The outside and lobby of the hotel are nice. However the room reeked of cigarette smoke, the decor and overall state of the room was very tired and dated. Our "city view" was of an abandoned parking lot. For the high cost of our stay, we were very disappointed.

The bed had hairs on it. There is dust all over the room. The light in the shower was not working for the money I paid. It was totally not worth it. I was expecting a 5 Star hotel, and it was more like a two star.

The hotel is in deplorable condition. My room was not ready until 6:30pm and it was not the type of room i had reserved. Front desk attendants were rude and not helpful. I am surprised that Hilton woulld put their name on this run down property.

Check in was easy and they had a room available to accommodate for early check in. The room was very nice and was an exceptional value in my opinion. We had a view of downtown Ft Lauderdale and the ocean from our balcony. It’s a five minute walk to the ocean. The restaurant was open on Thanksgiving and the staff was very friendly. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze as well.

Not first time here but this time the pool was open and renovations were complete. Room was clean with great views of the canal from my balcony. Staff was courteous and helpful. Only complaints were that the fitness center is too small and lacks any weightlifting machines (it only has dumbbells), and that my suite was above the pool area which blasts music too early in the morning.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The balcony was a great amenity. Unless you read the fine print about the room, you will be surprised to find that valet parking is $56 a night! A tequila sunrise at the pool bar was $26.25. At the pool, daily, every afternoon for 2 hours, on the other side of the hotel's property wall, the Ft Lauderdale Fire Department tests its sirens. Too many surprises to recommend this Doubletree despite its ideal location.

Our room was not ready for checkin until 7pm. Our sliding patio door fell off the hinges. All night long all we could hear was cars drag racing on the road outside our window. The front desk staff were friendly and understanding but the place is falling apart.

I just expected more out of my experience being that almost spent 1,000 staying there. I asked for a balcony room I got with no view of the city, a big palm tree everything, loud construction going on room right up from valet parking so very noisy no peace. The room wasn’t worth the cost stand up shower no tub, the comfort of the bed just felt like it’s been slept on too much lots of sink holes. Everything in the room just looked old fashioned it definitely needs upgrades. For the amount of money you have to pay without complementary breakfast there’s a charge for everything. You paying per day to park, the cost of the room plus a deposit that you do get back. But all the up front costs just not worth it and I will not be back!!!

The BEST chocolate cookies in the USA are to be found only in these hotels. The coffee making facility in the room is also a great compliment to the cookies. The cookies are kept in a cookie warming oven in reception and you receive two a day (or more if you ask nicely). They cannot be purchased anywhere else so make the most of them!

Nice comfortable spacious suites for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. Everything works, the premises is a bit clinical in the reception area (those LED overhead lights are operating room level!) and there is a nice outside seating area. A good price for generous facilities.

I have been coming to this property for more than 12 years but the rooms have to be update. Staff are wonderful, food is good but the rooms need to be remodeling. They are clean but everything is too old. I hate to say that this is going to be our last time there. Location is wonderful , you can walk to the beach and there are a lot of restaurants in the area very easy to get from the airport.

When we checked in we were told that the AC was being worked on and it was hot for awhile. We get to the room and it wasn’t cleaned so I did it since housekeeping was gone already we were told. Since the hotel has the bathroom soaps on the wall in the shower we went to take showers and the body gel was empty. The hotel needs renovations the room had baseboards broken and sinks looked like they are glued back together

This hotel backs up to a water way! You can catch a water taxi there. It rained everyday we were there but it was still nice. They have an outside bar as well and a pool. They have a close by mall and grocery store that you can walk to. Lots of stores and places to eat also. Loved the location. The lobby smells amazing! The restaurant is yummy and affordable. The rooms are large. Make sure you get your cookie when you check in! Delicious. I’d stay here again for sure.

The hotel was fantastic. We had an intercoastal view with a balcony and it had such good views . Huge suites, great location, decent facilities and the staff were very helpful and attentive. We got a Lyft from the airport so didnt have a car but it was so handy as the water taxi pulls up to the hotel we therefore brought a multi day pass and were able to travel everywhere by water taxi it was so handy and allowed us to see manatees and dolphins. It was also a really short walk over the bridge to the beach and to a beautiful state park. The bed was really comfortable and having a kitchen was so handy for breakfast and hot drinks. The hotel pool bar and coffee bar were great as well. Additionally you have a publix and starbucks over the road and mall next door so if like us you didnt bring the car this place really is ideal.

I don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We paid over $700 for a two-night stay, plus $55 per guest per day for parking, which is outrageous in itself. But the condition of the hotel was beyond unacceptable. Let’s start with the toilet seat, which looked like it had been chewed by a dog—completely damaged and filthy. The shower was covered in dirt and thick soap scum, making it feel like a health hazard rather than a place to get clean. The couch was stained and soiled, and the sofa bed had sheets with yellow stains that were so disgusting we couldn’t let anyone sleep on it. We had to go out and buy an air mattress for our guest to avoid having them sleep in filth. This is an old, outdated hotel with no signs of renovation, which would be fine if they at least kept it CLEAN. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, especially at this price point. I voiced my concerns to management and, to their credit, the manager waived $117 off the bill (parking charges) —but that didn’t come close to making up for the horrible conditions we endured. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. It’s not worth the money, the stress, or the disappointment. I wish I could give zero stars.

Rooms are not advertised the correct way for example our room was a balcony city view, but there was a big palm tree in the middle of the balcony. Probably got that room because I got it on Expedia living room TV did not work kept on saying weak signal. chairs in room are rundown. Anywhere you go outside your room charge money for an example. If you sit outside, they want you to purchase a beverage from the bar very little smoke area.

Checked in May 3rd-7th. There was no AC until late in the evening on the 4th. Asked for a fan, they had none. Our balcony was the least hottest spot to sit however we only had one chair between the four of us so we took turns sitting while trying to escape the heat of the hotel. We were asked if we wanted housekeeping on two separate days but, we did NOT receive services our whole stay. Also, the cable was horrible. I thought it was due to the weather (rain, clouds an windy conditions off an on) but on the 6th our only day of clear skies an sunshine the cable was still not working. My family an I travel to Florida multiple times each year, this particular time was a girls trip and my sister's first time in Fort Lauderdale. She was very disappointed as we all we're. I've never experienced so many wrong things during one stay.

Property had no air conditioning the entire 4 nights of our stay. The WHOLE building. The electricity was not out just the A/C. 80deg in room at night with doors open and loud noises from road all night. Absolutely horrible -No fans, not notified upon check in, Blamed it on power problem when all others in the area seemed to be just fine. We stay here often, but will be our last.

Day 2: There was a power outage from 10 PM to 8 AM, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable overnight. It was difficult to rest properly under these conditions. Day 3: I got stuck in the elevator, and it took quite a while before anyone arrived to assist. This caused a lot of anxiety, especially since I’m claustrophobic. Later that morning, I called the front desk to request coffee and creamer. I was told it was too early and to come downstairs. However, when I did, the front desk staff said they would send it to my room—this lack of clear communication was frustrating. Day 4: The air conditioning stopped working from 3 PM until 9 AM the next morning. Again, the room became uncomfortably hot, adding more stress to an already difficult stay. While I was offered a $100 credit, I feel that it was not enough given the number of problems and the discomfort I experienced. A refund would have been more appropriate considering the inconvenience and aggravation. I hope management seriously considers this feedback to improve the experience for future guests.

Great place to stay! Gallery One was with in walking distance to the beach, shopping and many restaurants. The rooms were large, clean for the most part and comfortable. We had a small problem at check in with our room but Javier, at the front desk, quickly resolved it for us! He went above and beyond and we are greatful for his professionalism. I loved the location—everything was within easy reach, making it very convenient. The lobby areas were amazing, and the customer service was excellent. The valet service was efficient and made arrivals and departures seamless. The bar service was also fantastic, offering a great selection and a welcoming atmosphere. The only area for improvement would be the functionality of the restrooms and shower heads, but overall, it was a great stay.

While I enjoyed my stay here and the location was perfect for my needs and desires, the room accommodations themselves left much to be desired. The bed was very low and uncomfortable. The shower leaked water onto the floor due to either missing seals or poor functionality of the shower door. The furniture is very dated, especially the very low profile couch that was also hard as a brick. The chairs on our balcony were very old and badly stained. It was not a good look. The hotel, itself is beautiful and smells amazing and it's very clean and the staff is attentive and friendly. The view is gorgeous and the vibe is on point. My only real complaints relate to my unit during my stay March 21 through March 25, 2025. I can see myself returning to this resort, yet I hope to get a better room with more modern accommodations. I do recommend this resort as it has the perfect location and is a beautiful property.
