Rooms are little and beds very uncomfortable. Space was a problem. Upon checking in i was immediately charged $60 dlls a night for valet parking. I didnt see anything good about the hotel. Just way of how to get money from customers.

The location was ideal, the resort was immaculate, loved the beach/chairs/umbrella and an amazing pool. The food on the beach and at the restaurants was delicious. The nightly entertainment at 3030 bar was outstanding!!

We really liked this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A few things I didn’t like. We had tiny little red ants in our room, mainly in the bathroom. No free WiFi and no complimentary water for the room. Traveling with two little kids made that a little challenging. Will we come back though? Yes, definitely. The resort had a lot of amenities for the kids. The workout room had everything we needed and more! Had most of our lunches from Sea Breeze restaurant and not once disappointed. The pool was perfect for kids and adults and the beach was easy access. Marina Village is walking distance, approximately 15 mins. I suggest taking an Uber and dining at Coconuts. Our waiter Lucas was the best! Till next time!

Hotel was nice. Well kept the staff was accommodating. Ultimately the only thing that I’ll say negative about the hotel was that the views that are not oceanfront or looking south at the pool are not very good.

The hotel was very understaffed - long waits at the front desk and in restaurants. Our room had a leaky faucet and we woke up to a flooded bathroom at 4am. We were the ones who cleaned up the water, took a picture of the broken faucet, and notified staff. No help, no apology, no thank you. This was the worst Marriot I have experienced.

Pros- Great property and layout. Gorgeous beach and wait staff. Staff was super courteous. Quality restaurants and bars. Beautiful clean rooms. The only minor downside is the bathroom has no vent and didn't air out quickly and the door was a sliding door that didn't give much soundproofing. Overall A++

We really loved the convenience of having everything full-service right on the property. Having multiple restaurants, a Starbucks, and a bar onsite made dining and grabbing drinks so incredibly easy while managing two young kids. Also, our 4 year old had buffet breakfast for free as long as we ordered an adult meal or buffet. The only minor heads-up for future guests is regarding the beach setup. While the beach chairs are conveniently included in the daily resort fee, keep in mind that the beach umbrella rentals are an additional out-of-pocket cost. Overall, we had a beautiful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend this resort to other families looking for an upscale, convenient beach getaway.

Overall mixed views. Location by the beach was great. Facilities were good for the price point (gym above average). Staff were excellent and very helpful particularly in accompanying a late checkout free of charge and also moving our room due to a noisy ice machine. We had two main issues: 1) We didn’t have a single uninterrupted nights sleep (noisy ice machine, noisy fridge, very heavy and therefore extremely noisy doors from adjacent rooms). 2) There are a lot of extras you have to pay for which should be included. Two examples: parasols on the beach and beds by the pool which was super frustrating if the free ones were all taken. Also the staff frequently reminded us to tip them - adding to the sense that we’re were constantly being fleeced for money

The restaurant in the lobby was average but adequate. All in all it was a fantastic stay. We will come again.

The pool area was overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy, and I was surprised to be asked to pay extra for chairs near the pool, even though they belong to the hotel. Considering the high price I paid for the room, this felt unreasonable. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities such as minibar items, and charging $8 for a bottle of water felt excessive. While breakfast was decent and the restaurant was acceptable, neither stood out as particularly great. Overall, I expected much better service, cleanliness, and amenities for the price of this hotel. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations, and I will not be returning.

Property was excellent. The staff was courteous and always helpful. The rooms were newly renovated and very clean. The amenities were awesome and the food was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay however had a few issues. Huge crack in the tile as you entered the room. Not what you'd expect. Also paid a lot of $ for a check in at 4 and had to be out by 11 the next day. I was told that it was an extra $100 to have our check out moved to 2:00. I think that $100 may have turned into $300+ with extra taxes and fees but need to double check that. I just know that my checkout was $300+

Room was decent, view was great, felt like a resort… breakfast was what you would expect… staff was accommodating and made it easy to relax and get food/beverages 24/7. Complimentary drinks were a nice plus. Food and drinks are pricey.

We went to the resort for my daughters birthday a weekend staycation!!! It’s was great family friendly room was basic but clean resort is beautiful with private beach and alit alit of activities restaurant food basic but good overall 5 stars

House keeping only cleaned our room one time in the 5 days we were there. I had to find someone to take the trash.

Every aspect of my stay was excellent! As a senior traveler, I look for safety, comfort, and quality service. The Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach location always delivers an amazing hotel experience.

Had a Great Beachfront view of the ocean . Room was extremely clean . Pool and Hot tub was great . Also if you go , you must visit the Tiki Hut Bar on the beach . And last but not least , the Staff was amazing !!!

The hotel held over a $2600. 00 on my credit card since booking .com had not sent the money I paid to the hotel before my check-in . It was very upsetting to me, and I had never had such an experience before.

We stayed in an ocean front room. The view was wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the pickleball courts and the amazing restaurants. Wonderful trip!

This hotel has it all! It feels very much like a Caribbean resort. Private beach, giant pool, spa, restaurants, bars, wellness juice bar, Starbucks & outdoor fire pits with lots of seating. Everything has been updated. The resort grounds are so big you never feeling like you need to even leave. Very relaxing!

It’s too pricey for what it is; they want to be a Four Seasons or Peninsula hotel. But it more like a three or four star

Pool and beach were beautiful, though swimming wasn’t possible due to rip tide and jelly fish warning. Tennis courts were pristine. For the price I found the room pretty basic. Pillows on the bed were very cheap and uncomfortable. Housekeeping failed to refill our soap which was inconvenient. NOTICE FOR TENNIS PLAYERS: I scheduled a tennis lesson with the pro the hotel referred me to, Andy. Except he sent someone else to provide the lesson without any communication. Bait and switch was really not appreciated and reflects on hotel they work with this kind of coach.

Our experience, as always when we stay there, was wonderful. The staff, the beach crew—everyone was incredibly kind. The hotel gave us a beautiful detail for our anniversary, which we truly appreciated. All the employees are exceptionally friendly.

In addition, the air conditioning unit was noisy. When we raised the temperature, it repeatedly made a clunking sound as if the machine was stopping and starting. The bed also felt somewhat damp, likely due to humidity, which affected our comfort while sleeping. Aside from this, everything else was great, and we appreciate the hospitality we received. With some improvement to soundproofing and the AC system, this would be an outstanding place to stay.

Best experience I have had at a hotel. Left a cruise, left my wallet in a taxi . I was lost. Did not have the taxi name or number. A bellhop suggested that I call security. Received taxi number and also their phone # . I am ever so grateful , the food and staff were outstanding . Edward who worked the pool was exceptional.

After spending over $500 a night, I was extremely unhappy because the room was not as cold as I like. I tried to call the front desk but had no success. I must be honest and say, I have stopped at hotels that were half the price but I was extremely satisfied.

I HAD STAYED HERE A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS A BETTER EXPERIENCE. The location is great but the beach has a lot of garbage at the shore line and during the length of our stay it was not cleaned. Check the weather ahead of time because the waves were so strong we could not go into the water. Paying well over $400.00 a night and I was very disappointed. This is more of a family type resort. Lots of kids running around and owning the pool areas and lobby all day . If you are looking for a quite couples weekend this would not be the place. High Resort fees and daily parking fees. The food and drinks are extremely over priced . I expected more from this Hotel at its price point. I suggest purchasing the breakfast plan since the breakfast buffet fee is over $70.00 dollars for a couple. If you want to lay on the beach, the good beach chairs are an up charge. If you want a small beach umbrella is over $30.00 It felt like all the amenities I wanted use came with hidden fees. Other than the staff that work for tips, the rest of the staff was not as friendly as I remember. We would greet them and they seemed not engaged or happy to be there (This could be the norm for that area). I have stayed in less expensive locations and had a much better experience.

The hotel was beautiful, tons of amenities. Rooms are updated and lovely. Booking.com doesn’t show you the correct room you booked. We payed for an ocean front room and didn’t get one. Thankfully the Marriott staff allowed us to have a room because they had one available. The pictures and descriptions are not accurate on booking.com

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the pool, ocean and breakfast buffet. Two things that could have been approved was give free bottled water in room instead of charging $8 per bottle however I did appreciate the free fruit infused water throughout the resort. The other charge that I thought was steep was the umbrellas at the beach. The loungers are free however $25 a day for the umbrellas I felt should have just come with the chairs. Also this resort is not real walkable to the boardwalk or restaurants. But we loved all the transportation options available. We road the golf carts frequently. The staff was very nice and helpful. We loved this resort and the area around it. Always felt safe. Some of the restaurants we visited were some of the best food my husband and I had ever had. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was dirty such as the floors. There were German roaches along with their regular palmetto bugs. I had found a dead in my room and one alive. My friend had them crawling all over her room and switched 3 times. All the rooms she had were infested much worse than mine. Very disturbing.

The room was dirty such as the floors. There were German roaches along with their regular palmetto bugs. I had found a dead in my room and one alive. My friend had them crawling all over her room and switched 3 times. All the rooms she had were infested much worse than mine. Very disturbing.

100% would recommmend, staff is super friendly, valet staff was so attentive, beach amenities were so convenient. We chose this place as a weekend staycation and it was so relaxing that we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING, the hotel had everything covered.

Very professional staff, bed was not comfortable felt like rolling hills, extra charges for everything, food in restaurant just ok, I did like the pool area and private beach, the room was good sized however not worth the cost, I’ve stayed in Turks and Caicos at least 5x and it was more affordable there with more for the buck. I found it disappointing

Everything was nice except the parking prices. $60 a day is too much. I hope they can change the prices and make them more affordable for people so they can enjoy their time

However on the first night of our stay the pool restaurant closed at 7pm vs the advertised 10pm which forced us to eat off site. the following morning we went to the restaurant to attend the breakfast, we purchased a buffet option thru Expedia but we were not met with that, they removed the buffet option throughout our entire stay and we had to order a la carte. the food and service at the restaurant was great luckily! Afterwards we headed to the pool and sadly we're met with ongoing construction at the jacuzzi area with the jack hammer off constantly, there was no sign or indication that this was ongoing. thankfully the pool attendants were warm welcoming and speedy with food and drink delivery. The night prior to our checkout my husband decided he'd like to stay an additional night and enjoy the beach which we had no had a chance to bask in since we were at the pool most of the day. When he met with the night manager, he informed me she was extremely rude and hurried him away advising him that due to our reservation bei

We love it here! We got lucky and stayed here one night a few years ago and now it’s our go-to place after cruising. Every amenity you could ask for, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, right in the beach. We will probably never stay anywhere else.

Lovely and very comfortable beach resort with any amenities you could dream of. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not very clean and could’ve used a good vacuuming. Other than that, we have no complaints.

I thought i booked breakfast included and didn’t apparently. Breakfast buffet is $34 per person. So that was unexpected. Manger was rude and didn’t work with me on it. I don’t even eat buffets because i just had surgery so i thought it was included. In essence $40 for 2 peices of pineapple and 2 slices of bacon. Not only that the waitress “escorted me “ to the front desk when i questioned it. Paid $1500 for a hotel and was treated like that. Never again! Everything is overpriced and expensive. Plus $13 a day for WiFi.

The biggest minuses were small bathroom and very limited closet space. The room was advertised to accommodate up to 4 people when in reality comfortably it can accommodate only two.

The beach was really nice and there were plenty of beach chairs. The restaurants were good. The staff was so-so, the lobby was really small and the pool was average. The pool was fairly small for the size of the resort and pretty crowded. The elevators kept breaking and there were lines for the elevators. The gift shop prices were absolutely ridiculous, as were the water bottle prices. They apply random charges to your credit card each day which I was told would drop off afterwards. The location was good and close to the port.

This class hotel should have more dining options . Pool area at some point was missing umbrellas and it was very difficult to find a shade . Past few days were very hot at Fort Lauderdale and that was very inconvenient and almost impossible to enjoy the pool area

Beaware of hidden fees. I paid for room stay on hotels.com expecting those to be total fees. After check out i received my email receipt from the resort with additional $53 per day fee as a "resort fee". I questioned the front desk and was told it is for all the amenities. Absolutely ridiculous...like what the 6 elevators that only worked half the time??

Pool chairs umbrellas and towels need to be updated. I found not enough servers at the outside restaurant and pool

The view of my room that I have paid extra for is unavailable for use, in which there was a balcony that was still under fixes. There were disturbances from the noise outside in the morning that are from the ongoing renovations, however that is valid. The room is dirty and there was hair all over upon arrival, there was also no room service/housekeeping thus making me have to go to the lobby to ask for cleaning. I honestly don’t recommend this place, it’s unfortunate that I can’t rate this any lower.

The property is good for families who want to stay on property and enjoy the pool and the beach. It is hard to get a good sun lounger and the hot tub was out of action for our stay. The room cleaning situation is not up to hotel standard. Our room was only serviced at 6:00pm each day. This meant the room was not made up for the duration of our stay which was very unpleasant. I would say it's fine for a short stay, but by the end of our 4 nights we were ready to leave. Front of house and valet services were good.

The check-in was efficient and professional. Once they found out we were celebrating my husband s birthday, the next day champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were left in our room. The Oceanview room with a balcony was spectacular!

They decided to jackhammer one of the hot tub during our late June vacation. At the same time tree trimmers were using chainsaws to trim the palm trees around the pool. It was the opposite of relaxing and was not an enjoyable experience. The chairs on the beach also don’t come with umbrellas without a $32 daily charge.

We were not prepared for the $54.00 PER DAY for parking at the place we had paid to stay at. Never seen that before. The hotel was still being remodeled when we stayed there. It was drills and hammers at 9am. There was also a $10.89 charge each day we were there that the staff was unable to tell me what the charge was for. Would not stay here again.

Traffic is a nightmare here. The rooms are all run down. The location would be great except for the fact that they are doing construction and they do not tell the guests. It is important for anyone booking a room here and hoping for a balcony to be advised that 50% of the balconies are blocked off for concrete repair. The damage looks really bad here and it looks like they’ll be at it for about a year. We paid for a balcony room and they cheated us out of it because it was blocked off for construction. You should know this because they are not telling the guest that 50% of the balconies are out of commission. But they are still charging the balcony rate.

For the most part the stay was nice but some exits and entrances to the pool and beach were closed during the stay due to exterior work being done on the building. Also the noise during the day inside and out was not great but we made the best of it. In my mind they should have waived the resort fees during this time to guest as a way to say thank you for your understanding with the construction during this time.

Fantastic staff. I got a stain on my white pants and the housekeeper took them and got the stain out for me!

Didn’t like the fact that there was a lot of noise from the construction that was going on. I found some ants in my room, but the room was nice. Wish the pillows weren’t so soft.

There is maintenance going on on the building surfaces and window cleaning. We did not have access to the balcony.

Went for mothers day weekend and had an amazing time. They gifted us mimosas at breakfast, and had a blast at the pool playing trivia. It eas easy to get sun chairs, and the beach service was also great. We will return

Situated on the beach and tucked away for a private resort feeling. Suites are a bit smaller than other resorts, but consistent with Marriot brand.

Our stay started off a bit rocky as we were given a room on the 2nd floor which had no view, smelled musty and the bathroom was very outdated. The next morning I asked for a room on a higher floor w/an ocean view & the staff accommodated our request with no problem. Our new room was beautiful, updated & we had an amazing view of the ocean. The beach & pool were amazingly gorgeous & the staff was amazing & VERY accommodating!! One major downside was that they were doing construction at the hotel and we were woken up almost every morning between 8:00 am & 9:00 am by loud banging and drilling 😡. Other than that we had an amazing stay.
