    Staff were very friendly! The suite I booked had animal food in it scattered on the carpet, rodent feces in the window, air didn’t work, and the shower wasn’t the best. After finding rodent feces I didn’t even feel comfortable staying there but I had booked one night as I was catching a red eye flight the next morning.

    This property is excellent I spent 4 nights here and didn’t get bored once, amazing staff, family oriented, very clean and I can’t say anything bad about the property. I meant several different people from housekeeping, front desk staff, the restaurant crew even maintenance every employee have great attitudes. 10/10

    The room itself was clean but the rest of the property seemed dirty and not well maintained. The shower head did not work properly there was no water pressure and the water was lukewarm. The tv channels buffered and would not come in clearly. There was only one elevator working and an extremely long wait to use one.

    The breakfast was good and the staff was also friendly. My room (King bed with balcony) was clean and the hit water was quick in arriving for my showers. I had a question for the cleaning staff and they were extremely accommodating and handled it ASAP. The only reason I gave a 4 Star was because of the elevator. They did have three working elevators on the other side of the lobby, but the one that most new guests use the two closest to the lobby. I had a very positive stay and would stay there again without hesitation.

    Chose this hotel because I waa able to secure off site parking for a cruise that offered free shuttle service. FYI. Hotel had nothing to do with cruise shuttle. The shuttle service thru the parking service did not work out as expected to the cruise terminal. Parking was very simple. I needed to get an Uber because the shuttle service did not show up at the 30 minute intervals as previously advised. Embasy suites amazing.. breakfast...coffee...room cleanliness. Staff all attentive and professional!!! We would definitely saty again!!!!

    The lobby, bar and pool area were very nice. The morning breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly but some of their rules were not like $35 fee to check in before noon even if your room was ready. Shuttle service to cruise lines was excellent but a bit pricey. Some general room maintenance was needed. Leaking AC in one room and another room had a toilet flushing problem and bathroom fan noise issue. Our final room was in good shape though.

    The hotel was very nice, the enmities were really exceptional. And the staff was very accommodating with the exception of two areas of my last stay. The cleanliness of my bathroom floor and the not so pleasant treatment from a short order cook at the omelet station. The employee did not understand the circumstances nor did he plan to listen to the reason as to why I had my family member hold my place in the cook order line. I had my family member (Aunt) hold my place in line, so that I could stay with her blind husband at the table as she gathered his food for him. The male cook was loud and became argumentative. Because of the large number of people around and to keep the moving. I ask my Aunt to let it go, it’s not worth it. His behavior was unexceptionable. Apparently there are behavior issues with the staff because I overheard a supervisor briefing the morning staff in the dining area. About staff arguing with each other. It’s a shame one employee can make a bad experience for a Hilton Honors Member.

    One staff member who helped us find warm milk and our princess water bottle was AMAZING. Other than that, hard pass. Only three of the elevators were working for a GIANT hotel. And the elevators, once you wait 15-20 minutes for one, are so tiny. It’s clearly a family hotel, yet the restaurant isn’t geared for it. No kids meal items? The front desk staff was largely annoyed and snappish. Won’t be staying again.

    Our room was placed directly underneath a 24-hour gym something that was never disclosed at booking or check-in. All night long, it sounded like we were beneath a bowling alley. Guests were actively working out and dropping heavy weights onto the floor, creating constant, jarring noise that echoed through the room. What’s most disappointing is how this was handled. I was in contact with the front desk throughout the night via chat, repeatedly reporting the noise above us. At no point did anyone explain that we were under a 24-hour gym and that the noise would not stop. That information would have made a huge difference in how we handled the situation. Around 11:45 PM, we were offered a room change but by then, one of my children and my mom were already asleep, and my youngest had just been woken up by the noise. Moving rooms that late at night was not a realistic solution for our family. We did receive a $100 refund, but it does not come close to compensating for a completely sleepless night and the overall poor experience. This stay fell far below expectations, especially for the price point and how the hotel markets itself.

    Breakfast actually hurt our stomachs. The eggs and bacon were weird. You only have bread and bagels as options. For coffee it’s Folger. Fruit selection was very slim and we were told not to touch the good fruit when a mimosa area came to be. Our sleep was ruined by the fact that every morning we heard weights being dropped on the floor. For a 2 night stay definitely ask if you’re above a gym if you want a good nights rest. The pool area is infested with mosquitos and could use some remodeling. The parrots and the lizards made you feel like you were in paradise. However the dirty koi pond could be cleaned up. Fish are important too.

After a 30 minute line up to check in we were offered the pleasure of a $50 USD “Early Check in Fee” OR if we were lucky enough to book online the extra fee would have been only $30. PLUS if you had anything delivered to the hotel, be prepared to pay an (unadvertised) extra $5 fee PER PACKAGE! When I asked where that fee was published - I got a blank stare. It’s not. Parking? Extra fees Airport shuttle? Extra fees Cruise shuttle? Extra fees No luggage carts. No fees for that. Several ice machines broken. No fees for that. Shower in the bathroom leaked persistently. No fees for that. If you’re spending $350 USD a night for a hotel. You should expect better.

    Room was very spacious Hotel was in a nice area, easy to get to market, restaurants, or even ice cream. Overall I would recommend staying here. Bathroom needs an upgrade, all other nice hotels have moved over to crystal sliding shower doors. This one is stuck in the 80’s. When taking a shower, the moisture stayed in the bathroom. Need to have better ventilation.

    Breakfast is not cooked to order it’s cooked and then it’s left in a warmer. It was super cold. The bacon was undercooked. It tasted very off other than that. It’s a normal breakfast. Staff was definitely not very friendly not open to helping. I stayed with two other work colleagues. One of my work colleagues received waters for free the other one received a large basket full of snacks and some sodas for free, I went up to inquire why I didn’t receive the same as we were all on a Work trip and booked the same rooms I was told that I didn’t have Hilton honors although I did and do and I also received points from the guest ambassador on my Hilton honors account. The lady at the front desk made it seem like I was giving her a hard time when I was just inquiring not even asking for anything just why they were receiving different things than myself. The rooms were very outdated not what the picture shows. They are very spacious however, both my room and my colleagues room. The sinks were leaking as well as this tub, which kept a constant drip all night, which made it pretty hard to sleep. The bed is also similar to a twin mattress however, it is a queen size. The pillows were very lumpy, and I also had a two bedroom but was only able to sleep on one of the beds as the other comforter and pillowcases on the bed next to the first bed or dirty makeup stains, as well as a dirt stain on the comforter clear as day.

    The rooms are so old. Shower water pressure is so low. Breakfast is included but food is not healthy. Hotel staff are not nice. The mattress is old and worn down. The bathroom floor cracked. The switched me to another room and the shower curtain was smelly. I would never recommend this hotel. And it is so expensive for the service and quality of the rooms. Old carpets.

    Our stay was a 4/10. We found a set of USED and dirty lash clusters in our bed, the wifi was god awful, the ac was insanely loud that we had to turn it off to sleep, there was a military grade light pointed straight into our window, we received a notification from the Hilton honours app saying that our room was ready and that the digital key was ready to use but when we tried to get in the room we were told that there was actually people in it and it didn't even end up being our room. Would not recommend this hotel.

    Expect tremendously long lines if you get there when it starts but is a secret. Go down to the main lobby about 20 minutes before it ends. No lines. There is a happy hour in the Barr area that allows every guest to free drinks every night. We did not go because the lines were huge. This is a destination for people going on cruise cruises where the cruise line is about 6 blocks away. The pool area is nice. It’s huge. There’s a nice Koi pond right next to it for kids to enjoy. I have no true complaints, except whether there is definitely need for upgrading. Any large area they have for breakfast? When they clear the dishes. It should be used for something else. Maybe a night gathering or a small band or something. It just stays empty all night.

    If I could give lower than one star I would. We are Hilton exclusive travelers and this was not what we are used to at a Hilton property. The room was nasty, they did not give us waters at check in, there was no hot water for shower and they did not give us tickets for happy hour. It was probably the worst experience we have ever had. On top of everything the staff was terrible. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

    Yes, the staff service was excellent, the room was very clean, I stayed at this exact hotel several times in previous years, but the things that have changed my mind about staying here again is the bathrooms is very outdated and needs upgrading as well as my room was leaking from the ceiling and when I asked to be moved to a different room they said they were booked but they did send maintenance right away and they fixed the problem but this was 11:00 pm so the noise they made was very loud and disturbing. Lastly I have stayed at other hotels that Not held to what I consider the status of this hotel and the pillow quality was exceptional. The quality of pillows and linens has diminished and I’m truly saddened. This was always my hotel of choice, but unfortunately this will be changing for me.

We got in late due to delays at the airport, but were able to get a wonderful dinner right at the hotel. Service was wonderful.     Nothing. To pay over $700 a night for this hotel was completely unacceptable. Elevators not working. Being on the 11th floor took forever to get to the lobby and/or to my room. Leaking shower head and toilet . The staff seemed overwhelmed and appeared "detached" from their jobs. The valet half the time was AWOL with the desk clerk having to find them. And lets not forget the cockroaches in the lobby. Overall this was an "F" grade hotel and for the money absolutely not what one would expect.

    Elevator service was poor. Two out of five were not functioning. Trying to leave we waited forty-five minutes with luggage to get on an elevator.     The pictures online do not match what you see in person. I found towels dirty that were folded had yellow stains. The staff is not welcoming or friendly.     The room was nice, there is a slight water leak in the tub. Staff was great. There was an issue trying to pay for the parking but the staff was able to fix it. The only real issue was that there is a bank of 3 elevators and at one point all 3 weren't working. Luckily the bank of 2 on the other side worked but everyone had to use it.

    The rooms are big which is nice when there are kids. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was every morning and with many options. The water falls in the center of the building are beautiful. The out door coy pond is beautiful. If there is anything that I would fix is update the restrooms in the rooms.

    The room was clean but felt outdated. The front desk clerk was a bit rude when we checked that 1am. I called at 11pm and spoke to the same guy to let him know we were on our way (everything was paid in advance) so don’t give our room away. We drove down from Virginia that day and due to traffic incidents we went 4 hours delayed driving for 18 hours. His reply was, “just so you know we are sold out for tonight.” I repeated my statement and he repeated what he said, I didn’t understand what that mattered. I asked did they still have our room but he didn’t answer. Breakfast was extremely chaotic. The various levels and steps make it hazardous to carry your food in both hands because crossing the little bridge I needed to hold onto something. Not sure I would return. We stayed there because we could get cruise parking which was paid in advance in O River but then we were bumped to another lot and the valets told us one thing but the parking folks told us another and the front desk person didn’t know what I was talking about and said, “talk to the valet when the come in at 6am” but in fact one was working at 1am. It was a terrible mess with the cruise ship parking supposedly at Embassy Suites. Better customer service is needed and everyone needs to understand how the cruise parking works.

    Bathroom needs to be revamped. Shower tub was stained.The shower tiles and ceiling need prayers. Ceiling fan was very noisy. Floor needs regrouting. The Female Bartender needs training on how to make a proper simple Whiskey Sour drink. The drink was way too strong.

    The elevators were broken on both sides, wait times were ave 15-20min with packed elevators stopping on every floor. Staff also had to use these elevators and although I am sure frustrated by this, were not always nice. The bathroom in the hotel room was not clean at all. Bodily fluids on back of toilet seat etc. Most staff did not speak English. Valet was $41.00/day and you could not call or text for your car. You had to wait to get on the elevator then wait for the valet. The price ave was abt $400/night and not worth it at all. I did speak to a gentleman at the front desk but he couldn’t really do anything about the elevator situation. I had prepaid or I would have found something else. I have stayed at Embassy Suites before without any issues but will not ever return to this one. The room also had a plumbing issue with water leaking all over the carpeted floor. They do have a great breakfast included if you don’t mind dealing with the crowds and elevators or lack there of!

    The rooms were clean and the hotel was beautiful. Nature incorporated into the hotel in a very calm and refreshing way. The elevators were giving trouble on the day I departed however I will applause the efficiency in which it was rectified. The breakfast was scenic and tasty.     This is a family-friendly facility. The amenities were decent, a nice pool area, an average, small gym, and a nice oasis-looking main lobby area. It's also a convenient location-close to Ft. Lauderdale beach, airport, highways, and restaurants. The elevators were not great- a lot of waiting. The breakfast was not that great, and I felt it started and ended too early. The rooms are nice, semi-modern. As a single person w/no kids, I wouldn't stay here again, but if you have kids it's prob a good option.

    Requested in two different occasions that the room be cleaned once for a three night stay but the request was never met. At very least we could’ve used clean towels. Very loud in the morning made it difficult to sleep. The parking is a real problem. Not enough spaces and they allow shuttles to take up space that causes congestion. I stay in Embassy Suites often so I know wha to expect and this fell far below expectations, which aren’t to high to begin with.

    Hotel was good for price. Front desk almost always has a line and you ask them to water refill stations they will tell you there are none but there’s one by the pool. Although it may not be filtered? No signs by it saying it’s not. Waters at front desk are $3-$6. The restraint is slow food ok but very expensive. Pool is nice enough. Will stay again because of location and price and like I said it was fine but don’t set expectations too high

    This was my first stay at an Embassy Suites' Hotel. I love the open air concept. The room was spacious and very clean. The complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning had a wonderful variety of tasty foods. The property had many indoor and outdoor options for seating and relaxation. Jessica and Andy both talked with us about future vacations. My friend/ sister and I enjoyed talking with them both. We also appreciated being able to take a shuttle from the hotel to our cruise port. Directions were clear, and the ride was pleasant. Our experience at the hotel was wonderful!

    The room was ready for check-in at 10 am, subject to a $50 fee. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant. She gave us drink coupons, which we didn't use. Wonderful bellboy, pleasant and very helpful, checking in and out. HOUSEKEEPING: cleanliness was lacking; Room 1106; bathroom sink; hot-water handle leaks; had to use a facecloth to collect the water. Roo itself needs a little TLC. RESTAURANT: Excellent room service and food. I was surprised by how big the portions were (a bit expensive but worth it when you don’t want to leave the room. CHECK-OUT: Easy, let them know via app that you are checking out, and drop your cards in the box in the lobby, but we never received our final statement as promised. It showed up on the credit card (which seemed higher than expected). Didn't use the shuttle service to the port, used Uber. My review would have been poor, but between the bellboy, early check-in, pleasant customer service, and the food, I gave it an extra star and would add a half-star if it were available.

    There was minor things that could be improved and slight cleaning issues but overall very well and I enjoyed the stay. The things that are important like comfort of the bed was excellent, hot water and water pressure fantastic, plenty of room and friendly staff. The breakfast had very limited options for vegan and the in hotel restaurant didn't have vegan options either but there was some within walking distance. Confusion with the concierge service was also unprofessional because I scheduled a shuttle to the airport (online and at the desk) I was told that it would be $12. I was then informed I would pay cash to the driver. I didn't like not having options for payment I was told what to do but then when I followed the instructions I was informed no it's not $12 it's $15. Which made me feel like the driver was just trying to secure a tip possibly since I specifically asked for change of the $22 I gave him because I didn't have a $10. If that was the case he received that on top of the $2 tip I gave. I gave a $2 tip because after getting change and then paying the upcharge difference, and him running a light (yellow light violation)(he spread up on a yellow light and I don't think that he quit made it but he might have barely). He argued with me (not in a aggressive way but I could tell irritated) about not having a voucher. The lady at the desk didn't mention anything about a voucher. She wrote it down in a book. He acted like I was supposed to know the procedure/process.

    It’s an awesome location. If you are going to transfer from the Embassy suites to the port the next morning. Employees at the reservation desk and others that we spoke with in the hotel we’re friendly and polite Our room was a king size bed. The bed linens were very comfortable and all felt clean. TV size for the sofa area was large and very enjoyable to watch football. The snacks prior to were very very simple although we did enjoy a few chips and veggies. We had ordered GrubHub to be delivered to the hotel and it was a great location to choose from several different vendors for food. Most definitely we would stay here again at the Embassy suites in Fort Lauderdale. It really gave us a great kickoff for our cruise and to leave refreshed. We had reserved a Uber for going to the port the next day. And it was only like $10 for us.

    There were significant negatives. There was an intermittent noise that came from the floor above. It was so loud it woke us up throughout the night. I did mention it on checkout but no real care was expressed. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as you’d expect on arrival either. Shame as the hotel is in a great location and looks impressive

    This hotel and the location was amazing. Customer service was excellent. We received complimentary drinks for happy hour. The complimentary breakfast was great. My grandson loved the room so much, he asked if we can come back after our cruise. If ever I’m in Fort Lauderdale again, my family and I will stay at this hotel. I forgot to take pics of the rooms, but the rooms and the bathroom was clean, beds and pillows very comfortable.

    Unfortunately when we arrived a little after 4pm our room was not ready. However, the rep at check in, I believe her name was Nubia, was fantastic. I could tell she was as frustrated as we were. She apologized multiple times and offered us a meal voucher for the restaurant in the hotel. She said the room would be ready soon. After our meal, I went to check on the status of the room. Unfortunately it still wasn’t ready. It was football weekend with the Hurricanes playing the day of check in and the Dolphins playing the following day so I understand it happens. Needless to say, she was very frustrated, checked the computer and gave us a different room. She gave us several drink vouchers for the evening meet and greet at the bar. The only negative thing I noticed was the hotel in need of a facelift. The hallway carpets were pretty deteriorated. Other than that, it was worth the price and I would stay there again.

    From the start the check in service was terrible. We called before we booked and asked which room type gave a view of the port and was told that all room types had that option and it was just luck of the draw. When we asked at the hotel we were told the rooms with a view were more money. The parking was also really expensive. The lobby was very clean and nice but on a Holiday weekend with several ships coming and going and 2 major football games, only 3 of the 5 elevators were working and a worker told us stairs could only be used for emergencies. We waited 10-20 mins on average for the elevator. The real kicker was the room was not clean. When we walked in there was a coffee stirrer on the floor. I took a few more steps and squished a raisin. The tub had sitting water in it. The shower curtain was falling apart. The dispenser was completely out of shampoo. Multiple lightbulbs were blown. The room was very spacious just not clean.

    Everyone was so nice from the front desk to the maintenance people. One of our rooms had a medical emergency and the staff was so kind and compassionate towards us. The hotel is also around so many stores. Very safe and walkable area. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

    There was a constant water drip from the A/C unit which made my overnight resting uncomfortable. My rooms temperature was not comfortable at all. I also parked in the back and had to walk around the side to enter instead of.closer to where I parked due to keycard malfunction .

    Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous place. Loved the greenery inside. Loved the pool. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We stayed on the 12th floor and had the best view from our balcony, especially at night. The room fridge and microwave were a bit small and located inside the lower cabinetry, but they both worked just fine. Our family had a great stay, and we'll be back soon!

    I booked 2 rooms at embassy suites in Fort Lauderdale and it was very disappointing one of the rooms had bathtub drainage issue called customer service they sent a tech who couldn’t fix it, contacted again and was moved to a different room yet it had the same issue with drainage, service was really unhelpful and this location was by far below other embassy suites by hilton
