    This is a Candlewood Suites. It is the low end of the IHG family of hotels. The advantage is that if you have a lot of work to do the desk/kitchen counter stretches most of the room so it is easy to work on a project. This particular location surprises you when you check in as they charge for parking that is not disclosed when you make a reservation via Expedia.

    I liked the Latina Representative at Check-out. She was very polite and pleasant. I didn't like Genesis, she was the young lady at Check-in. She came across as annoyed and like we were bothering her. The toilet in the room was leaking on the floor and the shower water was backed up.

    Property was nice and comfortable and great location. Front door didn’t look like an inviting front door so we walked around entire bldg looking for the entrance. Front desk staff was not personable at all. Wasn’t rude but no small talk and never made eye contact. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

    It was available for when we needed to be there. Uber Eats and DoorDash was easy to receive. Close to a mini mall, it was literally across the street. Close to cruise port, uber ride was about 12 minutes from hotel. Laundry was free and we didn’t have issues getting a washer or dryer to use no daily housekeeping, no bottle water in room upon arrival, dingy old. Found hairs in the bathroom. Can use with lots of upkeep.

    When we booked on the Expedia Website it said a Continental Breakfast was included. However, when we checked-in we were informed that a breakfast was not included and that the Hotel had asked Expedia several times to delete a breakfast from their website. As a result of this mix up we believe that Expedia should refund us some of our payment!

    I enjoyed the property's convenient location near the airport, which made travel much easier. The hotel also had a gym and laundry facilities, both of which were important amenities for me during my stay. Another major advantage was the shopping plaza directly across the street. It was very convenient for picking up food, groceries, and other everyday necessities without needing transportation. My favorite part of the stay, however, was the access to outdoor recreation. There were two parks within about a 10–15 minute walk from the hotel, and I visited them almost every morning to exercise. Having those parks nearby greatly enhanced my experience and helped me maintain my daily fitness routine. One downside was my interaction with some members of the staff during my extended stay. This was during a period when airport disruptions and shutdowns were affecting travel plans, so I had to extend my reservation multiple times. Unfortunately, I occasionally felt that certain staff members made unnecessary comments about the length of my stay. While they may not have intended any harm, the remarks made me feel uncomfortable and self-conscious, especially considering I was paying for my accommodations and extending due to circumstances beyond my control. Ultimately, this discomfort contributed to my decision to leave sooner than I had originally planned.

    The cleanliness of the room was also unacceptable. The shower was dirty, with layers of soap scum visibly built up on the walls, making it clear that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, I was informed that the airport shuttle operated every 30 minutes; however, I later discovered it only ran once every hour. As a result, I had to pay for a cab to ensure I arrived at the airport in time for my flight. Considering the price of the hotel, I expected a much better experience. Overall, the accommodations and service were mediocre and did not provide the value advertised.

The room was poor quality, the staff did not have proper information when calling early to inform that check in would be later than expected.     Everything was perfect until check out. It appears that this hotel charges an extra daily fee to park your 1 car in their hotel parking Lot. I didn't find out until check out. $10.00 per day to park your car in their lot plus tax. When I checked in, they said I didn't owe anything because I paid for everything from Expedia. I did have to leave a $100.00 deposit for the room. That I expected. They said I would get it back after they inspect the room and all is good. I go to check out 3 days later and the front desk gives me a receipt for parking. Meaning they will take it out off my deposit. Which means the listed price should have been 10 dollars more. I had a heated discussion before I left. I also called when I got home. I don't blame Expedia for this. It's the hotel. Just be aware of this ahead of booking. No they didn't give me my money back.

    The site was nice and clean, and stocked with snacks. There is no "real food" on the premises. The problem we incurred was getting across a very busy street that had no traffic lights near the property. There is also no breakfast served, but it is beautifully set up for cooking your own meals. I might recommend it for extended stay.

    Never again at this hotel, the hotel itself was nice enough however we had a significant problem with using the shuttle from the airport. When we got after the transportation area, it was pouring down raining. We had to share a small shelter with 30 other people which probably was only keeping eight people at a time drive. We called for about 20 minutes and said we’re wet and we need to shuttle and they said the shuttle just passed by your location and it will be up to 40 minutes until they return because of traffic. Long story short we were there an hour and 45 minutes with eight other guests we called repeatedly and everybody got a different story about traffic or they were just there you must’ve missed him, etc. After we and the other guests were all totally soaked along with our luggage, the shuttle finally showed up marked as a Holiday Inn, but the driver stuck a sign out the window that said Candlewood. I guess we were supposed to know that the candlewood shuttle was really a Holiday Inn shuttle. I really resent the fact that we and others in our party you’re being told different things none of which were true when we called. As far as traffic, there was no traffic. We took the back way to the hotel as I assume they always do and we saw only two cars the whole time. The bottom line is the truth goes a long way and a lie goes further when you’re dealing with people that you’re trying to do business with. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that I value your bus

    This was a layover for one night because we were cruising the next day. The room was clean and comfort and we like that they offered transportation to the port. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

    After shuttle had us waiting over an hour in the heat. We arrived to a full lobby a crabby staff. The rooms smell like wet carpet but pretty clean. Its a mini strip mall with a few restaurants, five below and dollar sore etc across the street. Good for a night before cruise quick stay.     Would certainly avoid if possible, hotel refused to cancel remaining nights and kept the amount paid even though the nights were not used and checkout was completed at 6am. Property not in good condition, more importantly safety is in question here. Several occasions found outside doors to be propped open with carpets allowing anyone to enter without a key. Desk staff and management quite unfriendly. This is after our company has booked many times with this property and will not do so again after this.

    This gets 2 stars simply because of the comvenient location, but that's the only reason. The room smelled stale and strongly of dog odor - when I called the front desk they simply stated they are a pet friendly hotel and said there were no other available rooms. Next, there were rust areas in shower/tub and toilet ran loudly all night long.

    A number of issues. First price for what was offered. Carpet dirty, night staff very short with me and finally the courtesy shuttle from the airport took over an hour to pick me up and it took three calls. Plane landed but I did not get to the hotel for 90 minutes. It is an airport hotel. No restaurant and vending so expensive.

    The price we paid, it could have been a lot better. Shower was moldy, bathroom was outdated, cramped. No towel rack next to the shower, it’s under the sink. Our AC THE LOWEST it would go was 70°, not good for a menopausal woman, and it quit working over night. I told the front desk at check out and all she said was “thanks”… again paid damn near $400 for one night stay, this is not the Hilton or any upscale hotel, more like a motel 6 just a different name. No breakfast. The complimentary airport shuttle took over an hour to arrive, meanwhile saw other area shuttles come and go back again many times while I stood there waiting.

    The staff were wonderful, and the room had excellent amenties: equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, brand name toiletries, free airport shuttle with a helpful and friendly driver, free washers & dryers. (Stay away from the lobby food offerings, the prices are outrageously high!) The only reason I didn't give a 5 is that there was a funky damp carpet smell when I entered my room. The maid spritzed it down with fabric refresher, which I greatly appreciated, but the fact that they are prepared to do this suggests a chronic issue that definitely needs to be addressed. On the whole, I was very pleased, and I would stay there again.

    When we alerted the night staff, the front desk attendant’s response was both dismissive and offensive. He claimed he smelled 'curry' instead of urine—a comment that felt pointedly racial given our Indian background. While he eventually acknowledged the smell and sprayed the room, it was ineffective. He told us he had no other rooms and offered a refund if we wanted to find another hotel at midnight, which was not a realistic option. We were forced to tolerate the smell for the night. While the morning staff was courteous and apologized, the lack of hygiene and the behavior of the night staff is a major concern. If you allow pets, you must maintain professional cleaning standards. We will not be returning.

    Room was not ready until well after check in time. Instructed that they would watch our bags so we could get lunch. Lady who checked in after us did the same, but when we returned she was upset because her bag was missing. Lots of confusion and miscommunication. Room was decent to sleep in but really warm and unable to decrease thermostat. Needs remodeled. Snacks, food and drinks were expensive in convenience area they had but only option at night unless you wanted to walk across busy road. Served its purpose but would not stay here again.

    The room was very nice and well designed. The toilet was a little annoying to flush since it seemed like I had to hold down the handle. The door to the room shook a lot when other peole were leaving their rooms so it rattled a bit, but the atmosphere was still very nice.

    Front desk staff was rude. They did not know how to operate their computer system so we had to run our credit card twice. We were told that we would not be charged twice. Week that was incorrect and we were charged twice. Office manager was unsympathetic and kept telling me that I didn't understand. I understand my bank balance and charges made against it and I was charged twice.

    This hotel is a pet friendly hotel.However, it is not a people friendly hotel period ! This hotel belongs to the dogs. The moment the door was open to room 303. The smell of dog and dog urine was so strong It almost knocked me over. I could not even enter the room. I immediately went back to the front desk. They went to show me another room number 109. It also smelled very much so like dog, not as much like urine, still like dog very strong. I immediately start crying. We were not able to get our money back. However, it was so bad that we did not care. We had to leave and go to the hotel next door Holiday Inn Which was much better considering the circumstance and provided a good breakfast.I am a person that is particular.However, I am not overreacting in this review, and the hotel was more expensive than the holiday inn unbelievable.The experience was traumatizing, and I warn you heavily NOT TO BOOK!!! 😭😭😭

When we got to the hotel only one of our rooms were ready. When we got into our rooms, my three year old found two half full white claw drinks on the side of the bed and poured them down herself.

    One room was great and everything worked as it should. Other room the AC was broken and would not get below 73 so the room felt a bit stuffy. Normally 73 would be OK, but after a long day at a hot beach, you want the room as cool as you can get it. Other than that, everything was fine. Everything in the room worked OK there was no hot water at the kitchen sink which was strange, but there was hot water in the bathroom so that was fine to wash your hands or have a shower, which is all that really matters. We were able to walk over to the five below store for some snacks and drinks. The food in beverage selection inside the hotel, while convenient, is extremely overpriced and that walking trip to five below was well worth it. All in all, it was a decent hotel for the price and nice convenient location to the airport. I would stay here again if you don't mind being a medium drive from the beach or you want to be close to the airport.

    It was nice. Had a shuttle to airport for a fee and could pre pay for them to bring you back to hotel when you return. We drove and you could pay 10.00 a day to leave your car at hotel. Our vehicle was a van so didn’t know it the cruise parking had van parking. Only problem was no breakfast but they sold items you could eat for breakfast.

    Clean suite with great modern amenities, Quiet. Airport transfers provided. Very faint odor in room/didn’t realize rooms double as a pet friendly hotel, not overbearing smell and no pet hair. housekeeping does a great job cleaning.     Check in at 1 am. Room wasn’t cleaned from last tenant. Bed not made. Garbage still in room, and towels laying on counter. It was only a one night stay due to flying in late and cruising the next day. Advised hotel staff of issues. Had issues with trying to get refund. Had to go to hotel next door.     My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The manager Daniella was unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate reasonable requests, which made the experience stressful and unpleasant.     The property looks better on line than it does when you get here. Smells like wet dog in the hallways, elevator and even worse in room. Found bug in bathroom, spots on floor that they missed with vacuum and noisy rooms next to me people constantly slamming doors. Property interior a little dated.     I was highly disappointed with how the setup with a shuttle company on the pickups and drop offs! It's not 24 hours like it should be! if people have weird flights hours! The way it's listed is we pick up and drop off to the airport with reservations.. I was very upset once I checked in to this newer Hotel and went to the room and went to enter the restroom to sit down on the toilet seat and there was only one boat in the toilet seat causing me to get injured I've fallen on the ground and I was already disabled..I reported it, to two of the deaths representatives and they failed to report it to the general manager that wasn't on the next day but should've been reported Within that 48 hour period. They did fix the toilet seat immediately but still I had to pay for a taxi to get to the airport and that's not cool or should be tolerated especially if you're dealing with a third party company like Expedia..

    I ran, yellinh and caught the last sh7tyle if the night...i had two briken toes and a heart condition, but imade it! The next morning when i called down to remind them i would be in the 5 am shuttle qith my son, we were bot on the list which we were told we were in when we checked in at 11pm the n8ght before. Thank goodness there were 2 seats left and we made it to the airport in time. The rooms were clean and had a full kitchen, but due to floridas humidity...they stunk...intop of all of this the 2 staff members i had to deal with were rude and nasty.

    After arrival at airport we called and spoke with hotel directly regarding our shuttle pickup. We we told shuttle was in route and where andcwhen we would be picked up. After waiting for 45 mins we called again and was told that the shuttle was no longer running and that the driver said he came to the airport and we werent there which was a lie. We along with another couple were forced to find other transportation to the hotel . We arrived so late no restaurants were open and then the front desk attempted to tell us our card had declined which was untrue as we used the exact same card to pay for it on site.     Althought the service and room were adequate, there is a great deal of room for improvement. The sister hotel, Holdiday Express, is across the parking lot and provides a full breakfast and a pool for the same price as Candlewood. Strange and disappointing.     Property felt old and broken down. Coffee maker in the room did not work; when i asked for new one they told me there was no one to bring me one that i had to come down and get coffee in the lobby. Hot water in shower was at best not cold. When i asked to fix they told me they would but never came. All in all i give this property a 2.     Upon checking in, I went to my room. It smelled so bad that I immediately went back to the front desk and told them it smells horrendous. They assigned another room on the first floor. That room was slightly better however it was still bad. The shower had rust around the knob. In addition there is no daily housekeeping. I didn’t know that when booking. This was a Candlewood suites hotel. It obviously operates as some kind of extended stay place. Overall this place is really bad.

    When we arrived the room I booked was unavailable, we were placed in a room that did not meet our sleeping arrangement and one person from our party had to sleep on the couch. The room was extremely muggy and humid. It took almost and hour to cool down. When we showered the water drained VERY SLOWLY, so by the end of the shower we were standing in dirty water. The weight room was decent, although hot. The did offer free laundry which was nice .

    We had 2 rooms. Wish we had only 1 issue to raise but it is multiple. Both rooms had very intolerable smells. 1 room had a metal clanking noise all night. The hardwood floors would become dangerously slippery because the adjacent carpet was wet (yuck). More issues and pictures available
