The front desk clerk Tracey was phenomenal. Such a delightful heartwarming personality. She made our stay! One elevator was out. The room was maybe worth $100 definitely not twice that.

Super nice and helpful staff. They allowed for a super early check-in (for a fee) which was very convenient. Great location close to the airport and beach. Everything was relatively clean. Some furniture/fixtures are a little weathered, but nothing major. My only complaint is that the room doors are oddly difficult to open, though this wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

Check in was great. Tracey was the best. She gave me the best orient to the property, even walked me down the hall to show me where to enter back into lobby after parking. During breakfast, Scott was attending and he really is a gem. We only stayed one night before we flew home but the interactions with Tracey and Scott made this a memorable stay. They both are assets and should be rewarded for going above and beyond. Our Room overlooking pool was cool. Only one Elevator, tiny bathroom in room, water damage on bathroom door. Had to pay to park in their parking garage. A/C in room didn’t get cool enough, it kept us from sweating at least.

While the accommodation was the good, the following things weren't; water takes at least 5 minutes to get warm then it gets really hot and have to turn it all the way to cold for warm water, the juccuzi we had ran yellow water unlike the sink, shower and toilet, the night stand was pushed all the way over, the fridge is not cold and the ac only blow air in the living room area so the bedroom remains warm, the bathroom lights did not work and flickered. Oh, and 1 elevator is broken so you have to take the stairs or wait a really long time. I stayed there for 4 days and 4 nights because of the breakfast and the beach and the parking seemed to be fair. Maintenance is definitely required.

Great location! This is a great option for a hotel close to the beach and cruise terminals. This is an older hotel, with some upgrades done, but it could definitely use a few more upgrades and some deep cleaning in the rooms. I enjoyed that’s the pool has a deep end. However, it is worth noting there are no lifeguards and no life vests available, and this may pose an issue at some point. If you have younger kids be sure to bring a life jacket of your own (deep-end of the pool I believe is 8ft). The breakfast buffet was great and had basic choices with a few hot items available. Overall, this was a great choice for a night or two.

My experience was great!

There is no airport shuttle. You do get free breakfast. There are enough eatery walking distance. The beach is walking distance as well. Pool is lovely. Unfortunately the bar in the hotel was closed. There was a sign if you wanted wine to ask the front desk. The bed was great. TV was satellite only. I would consider staying here again because I love the beach.

This place is a disaster. I had to Check out after the first night couldn’t stay there, so much mold in the room and the water was completely yellow. Stay away

The breakfast was good kids loved the pool...beach is just a 2min walk we had a good vacation Bed was really comfortable ? Personally I think parking should be included or at least be cheaper ?

Property barely adequate. One elevator used by guests, cleaning staff, maintenance, not big enough to accommodate all these people. Rooms are poorly furnished, chairs are old and rickety. Rooms need painting. The whole operation of this hotel very unorganized. A lot of maintenance issues. Way over priced for the condition of this property, they charge nightly to park in their garage. I do not recommend staying here.

The only thing that is somehow ok is the price, the staff is friendly and accommodating but the the property overall needs a refresh.

First room we got had a bunch of ants. The front desk staff moved us. The hallways smelled musty with an overwhelming amount of room freshener. Our room felt muggy and smelled very musty. We slept in our clothes so the stuff in our suitcases would not smell like the room (we only were staying one night). The staff was super friendly.

Tracey and Jasper at the front desk are truly the best!! Welcomed us with a big smile and gave us info on where to eat. You can tell they love what they do because the two days that we saw them were always talking and helping all the guest. Used their washer and driers located in the garage and worked perfect! Will definitely come back

Breakfast was great although it would nice if they had more variety of fresh cut fruit. We reserved a room with a pool view, not realizing that our door would literally be on the pool deck. Not big deal and it was easy to hop out and get chairs. The room itself was VERY small with hardly any room to move around the beds or the room itself. Not sure if all the rooms are like that.. I hope not. The water pressure was great, but oddly the sink looked like it was installed for a toddler...a nd this was not a handicapped room. We struggled with the AC because the air conditioner was tuck away down a small hall by the bathroom and didn't really reach the actual room itself it seemed. We had it set on 65 and would still wake up hot in the room. The hallways and bathroom wer nice and cold though, lol! Aside from that the staff was great

The hotel was great and the staff was great. Breakfast was pretty good. Our only complaint was how far it was from food options. There’s a few close by in a food court setting, but if you want to walk, it is about a mile to anything good. Normally it would be be a problem for me but one member of our party can’t walk that far. So be prepared to uber if you can’t walk! It was a fairly quick car ride to the cruise port!

When I first walked into this hotel the staff was friendly and greeted us politely. The lobby area was clean and inviting. One of the elevators was broken so it took a while to navigate to our floor. I would say it’s a little outdated but it’s clean. Our room was fine. Nothing fancy but it was clean and felt clean. I never felt uncomfortable in my room. Breakfast the next morning was actual very good for being a small hotel. Large selection. Very fresh delicious fruit. I was impressed. Check out was a breeze. We stayed here the night before our cruise and I feel this hotel gets that a lot as there is plenty of seating options in the lobby area. Maybe for waiting for that uber to the port. It was very busy the morning of our checkout. I would stay here again.

We always stay here when we are cruising out of Ft Lauderdale& found this hotel to be welcoming and pleasant. It has always been clean but it is now beginning to get quite shabby. Really needs a face lift.

Breakfast was great, no views of the beach. Short walk to beach, however a ling walk to the ocean edge.

Complimentary breakfast gave lots of options and was always replenished. The only thing that was frustrating was not being able to check in early (even though the room was ready) without paying an additional fee. I understand charging a fee prior to noon but the front desk agent told us anything before the usual 4pm check in would incur a fee.

Front desk staff were wonderful and the breakfast was very good! Just had one incident where the woman bartender was very off……kept harassing one guest about paying his bill twice…..which wasn’t the case. Got quite loud and seemed to be out of it. Disturbing to watch.

Très long avant de pouvoir monter et/ou descendre. Encore pire lorsqu’il y a des bâteaux de croisière au port car tous veulent quitter en même temps le matin avec leurs valises. Encore une fois avec un seul ascenseur lent. L’hôtel est bien entretenu mais aurait besoin de rénovations.

Close to the beach you can go behind the hotel and find the tiki bar at the b hotel next door and watch the cruise ships leave around 4. We think it’s awesome. Pool onsite balcony rooms Family resort. There is a shuttle available to take you to the cruise port 17 cash each. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a bit older, but it’s very well maintained and consistently clean. The complimentary breakfast is a great perk, and the staff truly stands out. They are attentive, friendly, and never overwhelmed. The location is absolutely perfect, making it an easy choice for convenience and accessibility.

They had one server/bartender to work on a Friday afternoon and evening with a very crowded lunch and dinner crowd. She did her best to rush around but took us over an hour to get service and food. Shame on Best Western for being cheap on staff. Rooms were not very clean either- worn

Got a very dirty vibe from the hotel. Doors and carpets were filthy. Toilet water and the free water fountain in the lobby had yellow water. Cold buffet breakfast with not that many options. Bar/restaurant was never open. No beach access, had to take a shuttle 1/2 mile to enter beach. Overall it felt skeevy.

Stayed 3 nights. Staff were friendly. Morning breakfast was nice. Location was convenient for trips to the beach.

Check the timing of your trip with local activities. We booked this trip specifically for the beach front access but it was blocked off for Tortuga happening the following week. Not the hotels fault but definitely would have booked elsewhere. We had to walk quite a far distance to get to the beach. Breakfast every day was excellent, all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Pool was nice. Rooms are older and have wear and tear. I give the overall stay a 7/10.

Room was small, but did the job. A short walk to the beach and a short Uber ride to the cruise terminal. Pool is small and the amenities are very basic, but the location is convenient.

Breakfast and staff in the breakfast room were friendly and the food was good. I had wished the main lobby bar/restaurant was open earlier in the day we had to order food out. When it was open the bartender was friendly and seemed to be running around with a lot on his plate. We booked the pool side room for a family of 4 and while the location was great! It was smaller than one of the traditional rooms I found out so we did feel very tight in there with all of our baggage and not much room to have it out. I would not stay in there for more than 2 nights.

The room was clean, neat and spacious. Rooms overlooking the pool are great. The breakfast had enough choices including pastries, toast, eggs, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. The location is plus, very near the beach and public transit. There is easy access to ride share services as well.

This was a lovely place to stay the night before our Cruise. The staff was attentive and helpful. Specifically Robert at the front desk was able to quickly remedy an issue caused by Expedia. Breakfast was good and the pool are was nice. Onsite parking was convenient. My only issue was that the elevator could use a tune up!

My daughter and I traveled to the area for a sporting event. This hotel was close to where we needed to be and very comfortable. The check-in process was very easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If we need to come back to the area in the future, we will stay here again.

Wonderful staff - arrived early and an upgraded room by the pool was provided immediately.

Now, that said, the staff were phenomenal. They were engaging, kind, helpful, and embodied the principles of hospitality. It's unfortunate that their overachieving cannot save the property issues. Full disclaimer, we happened to stay here during a spring break period, which explains the 2am ruckus. However, we could still hear EVERY sound from the adjacent room and hallway.

Hotel was good for a last minute stay after my flight was cancelled. The customer service was fantastic; everyone was super friendly. The bartender especially was very outgoing and made sure everyone was taken care of. The only complaint I have is the walls were super thin so you can hear everything from the other guests around you which made it challenging to sleep due to all of the noise.

Cons:The rooms are very rundown. The tub is peeling the paint is terrible. The baseboards and everything are caked with paint. Carpets are old and dirty throughout. One elevator was not working. Elevator was very slow. It's okay for the price I guess. Only stayed one night if I had to stay more I would definitely choose a different place. Calamari not good or the cocktail sauce. Needs to be remodeled completely.

I stayed here for two nights prior to a cruise. Only minutes away from Port Everglades. Two minute walk to the beach and restaurants. All of the staff were wonderful at the front desk. Every single one! As a matter of fact the whole staff was fantastic from the bar area to the breakfast staff. Room was clean. Nice sitting area not only around pool but also on the second level. I plan to make this my pre cruise hotel from now on!!!

Room was in the back corner of the bottom floor. Like a dungeon. So dark and old and dirty feeling. No view of anything despite paying extra for pool view room.

Bathroom tile and grout was gross. Maid did not replenish coffee or other bathroom needs. One elevator was broken and not fixed. Only warm water available for drinking in lobby. Bar did not open until 2pm.

They have an amazing breakfast every morning for the guest ..housekeepers are very good at cleaning and amazing to stay here at that hotel. Staff were wonderful. Check in, eating area, and pool area were clean and bright. Was a short walk to the beach but our room was in poor condition. Seemed like it was in the midst of renovations as there were patches on the wall that hadn't been painted yet. Bathroom needed attention. Felt like we didn't get what we paid for. Definitely has potential.

The room was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available which is great when arriving a few hours before check-in. We were given helpful ideas on what was in the area and walking times to get there. Would definitely stay there again. Just a short walk to the beach.

I don’t understand why this hotel gets such good reviews. It’s run down and felt damp and stinky all over. The restaurant closes early and the bar closed an hour earlier than we were told. The beds were ok but again felt damp. The breakfast was below average for free breakfast. We learned our lesson: stick with Embassy Suites.

Rooms and hotel very clean. Breakfast is very good. Only frustrating thing is only 1 elevator for staff with laundry carts etc and guests to use for whole hotel and we were on 5th floor so lots of additional exercise using stairs otherwise long waits.

Experience was good overall. But the elliptical in the gym was old, corroded, and tremendously noisy. It should have been taken out of service years ago. I complained to Best Western last year about it. They acknowledged my complaint, but obviously the elliptical was not replaced.

The hotel is really dated but it is in a great location. Parking is $20 a night, no problem. You can walk to the Elbo Room bar which is awesome!

Staff was excellent and room was clean. We got up in the morning to get breakfast and when we got back to our room (before checkout time) it was locked and we had to get a new key. Turned out that this had happen to other people on our floor.

The rooms were large, and the pillows and beds were very comfortable. The property spent a lot of money updating showerheads, but then failed to hire professional tile installation. The carpets desperately need replacement. One of the two elevators were out. Much money needs to be spent on cleaning and updating property.

Was in FL on business trip and wanted to be near beach to try to sneak in some time in between my meetings. The price was within my budget. I have to give props to the staff and housekeeping because the day I arrived was very busy for them and I was several hours before check-in. They confirmed how many people were ahead of me for early check-in, let me park so I could walk around and immediately texted me when I could come back...which was only an hour from when I'd been put on waiting. I was really impressed. The beach is a 5 minute walk. They do rent chairs. There are also restaurants nearby. Hotel is right by the cruise marina. They don't offer shuttle to terminal, but would be an easy taxi or uber. This is not a luxurious new hotel, but they were clean and very accommodating for the price per night I paid.

Unfortunately, it seems like the hotel is going down a bit. One elevator for a sold out hotel was frustrating, the pool was cold for the beginning of our stay and pool towels were hard to come by (we waited over 30 minutes after asking the front desk for towels, at which point my husband just went to the basement and grabbed some himself.)

Room and staff were great!

Close walk to restaurant and shops and close to cruise terminals.

This facility was beautifully laid out. Very nice patio and pool area. The dining area overlooking the pool was a nice touch. Great breakfast service. Variety and quality was very good for an establishment like this. I think the thing that stands out the most is the front desk staff. Their service was terrific. We had a difficulty with my cell phone and needed to pass info between the ATT store and our room. Multiple times, the desk staff carried messages back and forth between the desk phone and our room. They were absolutely stellar!! I think the only negative was the carpet really needed cleaning, but the room was very nice. The poolarea and entry grounds were beautiful. We would stay again without question.

The front desk manager went above and beyond. The breakfast was amazing with lots of options.

The sun deck and pool area are lovely! We enjoyed that our patio door opened right out to it. Seeing the Christmas lights on the palm trees was festive!

Old and dated building with water stains peeling paint in a lot of areas. One elevator out of order. Body wash was empty in shower. Four guests in the room and only supplies (towels, soap, cups etc) for a couple. Strong smells in the hallways. Would not recommend

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful, gave good recommendations on local restaurants. They also generously took out bags all the way up to the room for us. Breakfast was fantastic, so much to choose from and the view out to the pool was relaxing. Would stay here again :)

The room was nice, but only one elevator worked which made it difficult to get around as my husband wasn’t able to take the stairs.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus. The room was clean, breakfast was great. The breakfast staff were friendly. Great location, close to the beach and marina. We hope to be back!

The room was fine. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and looked like it had been repaired It was clean and the bed and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Room is good and pool area is relaxing. Breakfast is always good. Front desk manager needs to understand she is the face of the business and needs to be more friendly and not so curt. Other front desk staff are very accommodating .

The hotel is in a good location. Convenient for cruise guests. It is dated and in need of refurbishing. Although some refurbishing has been done such as in the bathroom, the carpets in the rooms and hallways show their age along with the doors in the bedrooms. Check in was convenient. Arrived 10 am from a cruise and had early check in for $25. That was a real plus. Pricing for the room was good when compared to other hotels. Walking to the beach and eateries was easy.

At check out advised them of bug found in room & bed sheets felt like they had not been changed. My mothers bed felt like sand at the foot of the bed.

They also should replace their bartender -- grumpiest, least helpful guy I've ever met. Decent breakfast buffet -- nice guy looking after that section. They also don't respond to emails sent to them through Expedia. Sent them a couple of questions 2 months before we checked in and nada, even after I resent them a couple of times. Disappointing.

Building is very worn, and run down. The place needs a Reno. Pool exit handles broken, but pool was nice. Shower areas are getting worn…it’s an old hotel. With that said, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, it was reasonably quiet. We felt it was expensive given the over all quality. Go stay at the Avid by IHG. It was much better and a hundred cheaper.

Breakfast was average, but convenient. Room was small, and had a musty smell. No ocean view, we were on the bottom floor and looking at a concrete hallway. Room should be a storage area, not a room. Would not recommend room #100 at all.

The breakfast was like other hotels. Decent and very clean. Hotel night manager Robert was wonderful. The newer front desk manager was a great help. She helped me confirm my airline ticket. The hotel is older but it’s right on the water and they kept it clean

This hotel was by far one of the friendliest places I have stayed. The staff was amazing, the food/breakfast outstanding. I enjoyed the pool as well as the gym. Also very clean. I will definitely stay here again

Staff was great. They were very accommodating and helped us surprise my husband when our children's families joined us at breakfast. They made sure our room was away from the rest of our family's rooms so that he wouldn't see them the night before. The beach is very close, with nice facilities; and in early September we had it all to ourselves. There are many dining options within walking distance, as well as a small restaurant within the building with a decent menu. There is a busy road to cross to get to some of the restaurants, but totally manageable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very well managed. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was very nice. We would stay her again.

The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area was kept tidy and the pool felt great. Put my mind at ease to end up staying as such a safe and clean place. Closeness to the beach was an added plus for sure also!

N0! Ocean view,and aVery strong trash smell was coming from one side of the property, bring it up to front klerk i was ignored!

The staff was super accommodating, especially Robert. He was a BIG help! Made sure we had everything we needed and then some! My mom and I enjoyed our stay at BW. Very pleased with our experience!

This is an older property, but clean and well maintained. Location right on Fort Lauderdale Beach is fantastic. Check-in and parking was convenient. The breakfast attendant Scott was excellent! I would return to this location for a future stay.

We arrived early after driving through a severe storm for two hours, and the staff kindly accommodated our early check-in — something we truly appreciated. Having a restaurant and bar onsite was very convenient and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. A special mention to Scott, the breakfast attendant, who was so kind and went out of his way to make us yogurt parfaits. Overall, a very positive experience.

Breakfast very poor, with limited options and low quality, in general hotel needs to be updated. I would choose another option next time we travel to Fort Lauderdale.

The beach 🏖️

Lovely room with unexpected balcony overlooking Fort Lauderdale, comfortable beds. Great location for the port. Only negative was limited breakfast options and they had run out of milk.

The stay was great. It's not the four seasons but it was comfortable, close to the beach and night life. Oscar and Bert at the front desk were absolutely the best. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Bar and breakfast staff were awesome. Property was very hard to find because of total lack of appropriate signage out front. The entire hotel is in need of an upgrade because everything was very dirty looking and old. decent food in the bar/restaurant, however, for the price.

Scott at breakfast was outstanding. Did a great job and friendly. The young man (longer hair) that checked us in was great also. Was very helpful. We checked in on Sunday the 13th of July.

Picture of bathroom on website was totally different than the actual one. Zero counter space and tiny. AC was not great. Parking was awful. Pool view was behind dirty AC units and parking garage. Staff was nice. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was good, but tight space to sit. The beds were comfortable. Cleanliness could be better, found a hair tie that should have been trashed in shower. No weird smells. Room walls, especially those that can connect are thin. We heard neighbor's children scream often. Hotels.com says 3pm checkin, front desk said 4pm. $25 for even a couple minutes early. Front desk staff won't or cant be flexible. Cleaning staff carts blocked elevator access more than once. Power went out and shut down the only 2 elevators for several hours.

Great location. We were at the convention center for a few days for a tournament and the BW was walking distance. Airport is very close as well (10mins). Breakfast was great there and Scott was a great asset to the staff at breakfast. He talked to everyone and made sure we had what we needed. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay with our grandchildren. Beach was short walking distance away. Breakfast was really good. Our server Scott was wonderful . We highly recommend staying here.

The staff is excellent and very helpful. The hotel sits in a very good area of the Ft. Lauderdale strip for ease of access. Our stay was post-cruise, so we didn't really experience parking and didn't want to mess with the pool. The bar and lounge is well above average. Many choices of food and drinks! However, the beds are hard as a rock. Expect some achy backs in the morning. We reserved two rooms for two nights. Both nights, water pressure was very low and hot water was very minimal. Both rooms were hardly able to set the temp to an appropriate amount to have a bearable shower.

The room was ok, but the bathroom door did not close all the way, the electric was questionable in safety…. But there’s was a live roach in our bathroom as well. I have video but it wont let me upload videos here. The lobby, pool area and dining area looked nice though.

The hotel has everything you want in a budget friendly family vacation. The rooms exceeded my expectation and beds were comfortable. A/C blows very cold which was awesome. I 100% would stay here again.

We checked into our room and went to used the restroom and as I was using the bathroom I noticed small bugs all over the toilet seat I was sitting on. It was so gross so I immediately hopped in the shower to rinse myself off and. Noticed they were all in the shower and on the towels. They were all over the bathroom walls as well. My husband immediately went to get a new room and the manager, Robert, treated him so poorly. They did move our room, but did nothing to compensate us for the experience. They told us to send an email with the pictures and videos and then never even responded. It felt very dirty. I’ve never had an experience like that at a hotel. The customer service was so horrible as well. They should have been extremely apologetic.

It was clean staff was nice and it was a vary nice stay I have no complaints. Also the complimentary breakfast was amazing . And it was right there by the beach witch was also really cool . If there's one thing I would say it was the fact that we had to pay for parking and it was 20$ a night ....we are already paying to stay at the hotel and have to pay parking everywhere we go already . If you stay at any hotel parking should be included but that is just my personal opinion.

We stayed here for a few nights before our cruise. Close to the port and everyone was great. Rooms were clean and quiet. If we ever cruise again we will definitely stay here again!

Room and hotel were clean however condition is very tired . Breakfast wasn’t that great , no milk at all today and when I asked for some more the other day I just got told to wait . Rooms cleaned everyday and clean towels supplied .

It was clean, in a great location, beautiful outdoor space, very convenient and reasonable self parking with simple in/out. One block from the ocean, close to the airport, excellent free breakfast, and looks just like it is presented on the Orbitz website. A solid 10 and I will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is in great condition, I would imagine it’s had a recent remodel. Our room on the other hand had a smell to it and we couldn’t figure it out, I called maintenance but they couldn’t figure it out either

Nice facility and rooms

Front desk staff were nice, but we were treated ever so rudely by one of the breakfast staff. Me and my husband was 10 minutes early from breakfast opening. We were there at 6:50, breakfast opens at 7. The front desk told us we can go and get coffee and so my husband did, and i went to the pool to check it, 4 mins later i went in got a cup of coffee and sat with my husband in one of the tables, all of sudden that person approached us and told us next time don’t come before 7 cause now they were forced to open 4 minutes early. He was very rude about it. So we just left without eating breakfast. First morning there and it was already ruined. We will never stay at this place ever again even if it’s free!

The property seemed outdated. The breakfast area couldn't accommodate the number of guests having coffee at the same time. The elevators were slow due to the amount of guests leaving at the same time. It was chaotic.

The room was adequate although cramped. No chairs so you have to watch tv from bed. Free breakfast buffet was great and kept clean. We were on sun deck level that did not have private balconys but there were tables with umbrellas scattered across. Beach is a quick walk down 1 block by B Ocean resort. Very limited bar and bar food. On Saturday and Sunday’s’ cruise departure days, the bar/kitchen staff were overwhelmed. We ordered delivery quite often. The staff here are very friendly.

Property was slightly dated, but for the location to the beach, breakfast and the price it was great.

The property smelt like raw sewage and we got a dirty room. Our blankets and pillows were absolutely disgusting.

Location is wonderful. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and breakfast was really nice. Would highly recommend.
