    It’s cheap and decently clean. Airport shuttle only took about 15 min even though the front desk said 45. She did not understand English on the phone very well though and got frustrated and hung up on my husband. Bed was comfy, breakfast looked like mostly white bread and yogurt so we skipped it. Close to airport and port.

    ABYSMAL. What a nightmare of an experience. The staff was rude and clueless and unhelpful. Also, the rooms were smelly, unclean and had bugs! If I could rate this negatively I would.

    Our stay was pleasant with the exception of a pile of luggage, pizza boxes, and garbage piled at the end of the hall on the second floor. The room was fresh, well maintained, and quiet. The check-in staff was excellent, and shuttle driver professional.

    There is one minor detail i dont like is all led lights in the room except restroom is bright white color, like a florescent office light, it should be yellow color led, which can look more natural light, this is a very very low cost item , hope they can improve this in future.

    Worst hotel experience we have ever had! Beds were very uncomfortable, not enough outlets and the main thing was no hot water! We had to take cold showers while we were there. When we told them about the cold showers we found out the whole building had been like that for a while and nobody ever mentioned that when we booked it.

    I absolutely enjoyed my stay here while visiting! Got a chance to see my family I haven’t seen in years briefly. I do blacks and smoke weed medical that’s why I spent most of my trip outside. Whenever I felt the urge outside I would go not to mention this big old smoke detector right in front of my bed. Also needing my money back was essential. Usually weed smells it lingers. My question is so because I left a lingering smell behind when I left I was smoking in you guys property. Just a tad bit confused why you would keep my deposit. Anyways cool. Thanks for the 1 night I thought you’d be my go to when I checked in next eeek but no thanks! May your day be filled with continuous joy!

    The breakfast was better than I expected and included hot items like eggs and sausages. The hotel is also conveniently located right beside a mall, which made it easy to grab food or other items we needed during the trip. Bad: Unfortunately, the airport shuttle was out of service during my stay, and the hotel did not offer any alternative transportation support. I specifically booked this hotel because of the airport shuttle service, so having to arrange and pay for an Uber myself was pretty disappointing. The facility itself also feels quite old, and the breakfast area gets extremely crowded in the morning. It was difficult to even find a place to sit.

We had a 0600 shuttle pick up and the front desk receptionist didn’t call and make the appointment even after I made sure and requested it twice. He was not the person to man the front desk. In the morning we were waiting and I ask the morning receptionist if it was coming and he said it wasn’t requested. Luckily he called and the shuttle made its way back to pick us up.

    The extra cost for things is what irked us most. $70/day for parking. They offer a ride to the Cruise port, but it was $20/person. We asked if they recommended someone else, they suggest a taxi for $15/person. We ended up taking an UberXL for just $16 for everyone.

    Hotel offers free shuttle from FLL but leaves travelers in the dark as to how to find and get on their shuttle. We eventually got on a shuttle for another property which is close to them. After being dropped off at Best Western, we saw Best Western's own shuttle parked at the hotel. Only later did we find that several hotels that are in close proximity share a shuttle. How are we to know that the Holiday Inn Ex/Candlewood's shuttle would pick up Best Western's customers?

    Clean hotel with great quick breakfast as we will picking up friend at the airport. It was also located right next to a shopping center for dinner the night before that had good food that wasnt fast food. ALSO, the telivision was easy to use and had a variety of movies and easy to use. We needed a quiet night before heading to the keys.

    I did not have breakfast as the small area was packed and could not get place to sit. Upon check in I asked if my room was ready and was told if I wanted to check in early I would have to pay an additional $15 and put on a list, I thought this to be rather odd as in my many years of traveling have never encountered this…I declined give them any more money as I had already payed $300 for the room.

    Had to wait over 1 hour for shuttle which was ridiculous considering how close the airport is. The hotel shuttle was parked beside hotel, not being used. A shuttle from another hotel took us to hotel. If you want a hotel with airport shuttle, pick another hotel.

    I had rented for four, but our friends were coming in first. Their "policy" was to not let anyone into the room until the person whose name was on the receipt arrived. Fortunately, the front desk suggested I chat with Epedia. I did and was able to get the name chaged, so they could get in the room promptly.

    Room was near lobby and very noisy in the morning. Their key machine was broken so had to be "let in" to our room each time by staff. We arrived late at night so did not see or use the pool.     Marc very helpful and cordial with arranging transportation to cruise terminal.. Darwin very friendly and accommodating on our check-in. Overall it was a good experience,given how exhausted we were when we arrived. Downside the air conditioning unit very noisy but kept room cool.

    They also charged if you want early check in even though it is not stated, they due state if you are late to check out though. Rooms smell very musty and like mold even though they are clean. The bed on our second stay would make noises like it was going to break every time we moved. Some of the staff were nice and some very rude or hard to understand.I would not stay there.

    The hotel was clean and convenient for our early flight, but our stay was significantly disrupted by loud noise from the room next door in the middle of the night. It seemed to come from an adjoining door, and we were unable to sleep because of it. I understand this may not always be within the hotel’s control, but it did affect our experience.

    Location There was a cockroach crawling on the drink machine in the breakfast area. When we alerted the staff they didn't seem to care and asked "only one?" The shuttle experience was very confusing. It was not labeled at the pick up zone at the airport. I emailed the facility as there is zero information about the how the shuttle systen works on the website and I did not hear any answer back. Calling was useless as an AI answers the phone with zero information.

    The stay was everything my daughter and I needed it to be! We LOVED the pool, and the woman at the front desk was very kind and patient. The room was very spacious -- yet cozy. Also, the hotel is very nicely located near several stores and eateries, which was nice because we did not have reliable transportation at the time.

    Was able to do an early check for a small fee which was very nice. Staff is ok. Breakfast was decent. Not a lot of counter space for breakfast and gets crowded. Pool was nice. Ended up cleaning the pool a few times due to leaves but overall it was fun to chill and relax by the pool. Elevator is a bit slow for a building of 2 stories only. Room were nice and roomy!

    I appreciate the fact that the night staff managed to sort one room for us. I was very angry and disappointed in the fact that our two rooms were cancelled ? This was due to a short security check from my bank. I had sent a message to inform you of this as soon as I had authorized the transaction, so why you could not have taken payment is a concern? There were plenty of funds in my account and it was a debit card. We had traveled from the UK and then a taxi to your hotel only to be told that our rooms had been cancelled? NO NOTIFICATIONS WERE GIVEN OF THIS OR THAT PAYMENT HAD NOT BEEN RECEIVED? After traveling from early morning in the UK, airport administration, the 10 hour flight and taxi to your hotel, you can understand our surprise and extreme disbelief that our rooms had been cancelled? We were stuck (4 people,2 disabled that had the accessible room booked) this was around 11.30pm. for over an hour or more we desperately searched for alternative accommodations only to find that all were sold out, or no late check in. We had booked the two rooms for our overnight stay as we had our cruise sailing from Fort Lauderdale the next day. Me and my family were so lucky in the fact that we managed to stay in a room ( no accessibility) for the remaining morning, as it was now 1.30 am the next day 17th March. We had one bed, an armchair and a single rollaway bed for the 4 of us to at least get some rest before breakfast at 8.30 am. All in all I am stating that the payment system caused all our troubles. So maybe a change should be in place so this doesn't happen to another in the future? If we still used cash then this would never have happened, it's our digital world of today that allows quicker alterations to rebook without proper consideration. Mr David Laney.

    Location was decent. We specifically booked this hotel due to it having a shuttle and us traveling with two young kids. We called the shuttle to pick us up and was told due to traffic it would be an hour before they arrived. We then started noticing that other hotels were on their 4 or 5th pickup and our stop was not there. After two hours with two cranky young kids, we opted to order an uber which stone within 10 minutes. When we arrived at the hotel, there sat the shuttle which hadn’t even moved. I expressed my disappointment at check in and was told “oh it’s been busy, how would you like to pay”. No apology, nothing.

    There was no in room dafe which is our fault as we should have paid better attention. The front desk thought there were safes but no.So rather than have to hide our valuables we chose not to have service. A lady who was not a guest got inside the hotel and stole food from the breakfast and towels off the cart and we discovered she has a key to the maintenence room from one of the hotel staff as we saw her swipe a key when we were sitting by the pool. I mentioned it to the fro t desk and he said no big deal.

    The lobby is very small and I paid for breakfast to be included. The front desk told me it would be open till 9:30, then we went down at 9am and nothing was there. We were not the only people wondering why breakfast was no longer being served either. Seems like they tell people until 9:30 but then its only served till 9am. So really annoyed that we had to go pay extra for breakfast for our family somewhere else before flying out. Room was also weird smelling. Only 3 towels in the room when it was for 4 people.

    The staff tried to get into my room at 1:00 in the morning with some very loud guests. The front desk had mixed up the room numbers. As a solo traveller in a room by an external door, it was very upsetting in the middle of the night to hear someone trying to break in. After that was settled, they phoned my room and again disturbed my sleep. I would never stay there again.

    Room and bathroom super clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Hot buffet breakfast was not so hot. Eggs were dried on the edges, saucisses were VERY greasy. Couldn't get fountain water after breakfast time as machine is closed. Must pay 4$US for bottled water. Room fridge had a buzzing sound to it and air conditioning had a rumble sound that was horrible. Also being an airport AND cruise hotel, you could get a shuttle to cruise port free of charge.

    Staff was acceptable but noticed language barriers when serving customers. This is an older hotel and shows wear and tear. Alarm or beeping from another room was annoying as it was never resolved after multi night stay. Breakfast was the usual and seating is problematic due to lack of space.     What they don’t tell you about the shuttle is they make you wait hours after waiting 2 hrs we finally took a taxi just so we can get out the heat. Then they still charged us for early check in I feel like that should have been waived since we had to wait so long. One of the reasons we booked the hotel is so we can get a shuttle to the hotel and we didn’t even get it.

    The airport shuttle provided was confusing. We weren’t sent any pickup details, instead had to call the hotel for details. Told us to wait at pick up point F. After waiting for 45 mins (and seeing the shuttle van drive by us multiple times and several calls back to the hotel) the hotel staff told us there are two F pick up points (this makes absolutely zero sense). So that was annoying. The staff weren’t that friendly either. The cost of the hotel was $$

    Not recommended. check in was a nightmare, we were stuck behind a massive party who had a problem with their reservation and while they made phone calls trying to resolve it they would not move aside. the singular clerk also made no effort to check us in while he waited. we waited for forty five minutes then checked in in sixty seconds. The walls were paper thin and we had to listen to our neighbor coughing seemingly in our ears all night. The fridge started making a racket in the middle of the night and we actually had to move the furniture to unplug it to make it stop. the toilet handle was broken. the breakfast buffet is set up in such a way as only one or two people can teach the food at a time (the food was good though). we asked a clerk for advice the next morning about if he knew a place to get cash. "No." entire answer. never staying here again!

    Modern rooms, clean, quiet, great for young solo female travellers like me, decent price, friendly and helpful staff. Overall a great stay, highly recommend! Used the free shuttle to and from the airport, just had to call for pickup from the airport and book in advance to go to the airport from the hotel, the shuttle leaves every hour.

    I didn't try the breakfast buffet. The hotel was was clean and we felt safe. My only complaints are the water in the shower was not warm or even any type of hot. I like a nice warm or hot shower to help me wind down my day. Also the air condition in the room felt like it was turned off after midnight. I am a woman over 45 yrs so I need to be very cool at night. Needless to say my 3 nights there were very unpleasant and uncomfortable because of those 2 issues. I don’t remember having those issues last year when I stayed

    Lady at front desk was not polite at all. She should remember shes in "customer service". The pool was very dirty and cold. The floor in the room was dirty. Our feet got very dirty from it. Thats awful. The woman handling brrakfast was not polite at all. And i watched her while we were eating. Not a place i would recommend or stay at in the future.

    The air conditioner sounded like a jet plane taking off. The slamming of the doors was constant and at all hours of the day/night. Even the cleaning crew enjoys slamming doors early in the morning. Those doors should be changed so the cannot slam that hard, most hotel doors shut slowly. If you cannot replace the doors then place signs asking people to be considerate of others and not slam their room door at 2 am!

    I would like to start this message by saying that your employee Dai was excellent. She was very helpful from the moment we walked through the door. My wife made a mistake with the days and Dai pointed it out very professionally, but more importantly helped us immediately and found a solution. This was so comforting especially since it was our fault and we were very tired and just wanted to get some rest. Please ensure that she receive this message and you guys (the company) treat her right. It's hard to find good employees. That being said, the rooms was very, very nice and everything was perfect. That is also hard to find as usually we have some issue with rooms we have reserved, not at this hotel, but others. You guys have a wonderful hotel and we have nothing but good things to say about it or our stay.

    The hotel seemed a little dated, but the room was clean and the breakfast was ok. I chose this hotel because they had a shuttle to the cruise port. Then I found out it was $15 per person, so we ended up taking an Uber for about $17. The front desk person was unfriendly and kind of rude, not just to me but to others too. I asked if it were possible to get a quiet area, maybe a corner room. Desk person said he "couldn't predict" which rooms would be quiet. Really? Not even a room at the end of the hall, away from all foot traffic and the elevator and ice machine? He gave us a room right next to the elevator and ice machine. Nice (sarc). Heard the maids talking about us/our room request in Spanish. Guess they assumed I wouldn't understand. Won't be staying at this hotel for our next cruise out of FLL. Stay here at your own risk of disappointment.

    They were painting on all floors. The carpet had paint splatters and you had to be careful not to get fresh paint on yourself or luggage. When upgrades are needed the hotel should be closed while the work is being done.

    The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The lobby was very dusty, stony paint smell everywhere like a construction zone. A guest woke us up at 6:00 AM, fighting with her partner in the hallway, that lasted at least an 1hr. We missed that little breakfast they serve because the front desk didn’t say it ends at 9:00😏.     The airport shuttle was easy, quick, and the driver was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was ok, clean, but the common areas of the hotel were a mess. I am assuming the property is renovating, however the staff never mentioned it or had signage. I had two rooms, one with an elderly handicapped and the other with two small children. The maintenance works in the hall were loud and unprofessional. I felt the hotel over charged with the condition of the hotel. This hotel will nickel and dime you. There is a fee to check in at noon, even if your room was ready, and a fee if you need to check out at noon. The property was not nice enough or had amenities that this should be the case. The area was not very nice, the hotel had many unsavory guests staying that continued to ask for money every time the doors opened. I would never stay there again.

    To start, they offer free shuttle from the airport. The front desk was rude when i called for the shuttle. It took 45 minutes to get to the airport when it was 4 miles away and no traffic. The hotel was under heavy remodel. I had to dodge dropcloths, paint, roller trays, amd tools on my way to my room. My flight got in in the morning. They wouldn't let me check in early so I had to drop my luggage and walk around the neighborhood for 3 hours. I couldn't access the pool from inside because they were doing tilework in the hall. You had to walk outside and around the building through a shady door to get to a pool full of dead dropped leaves. I was there for 4 days, and not once did they enter my room to take out the trash, give me clean towels, or make my bed. Even after I asked for service, I never got it. They made me pay a $50 deposit per day to cover if I smoked or had pets in the room. They told me I'd get it back in 12 days. What kind of operation is this? The only nice part of this experience was the breakfast. The girl was prompt, courteous, and made sure everything was full and clean. Besides that, I'd never recommend this hotel to anyone. Star clear of this place. Terrible experience.

    The guy who welcomed me for checking in, was rude and flexible, and would not allow me to take my luggage in. Plus, the pool was not very clean and there was a party where you could see people entering the gate that was not from the auto.     Hotel is in an area that isn’t so safe when you’re a young female alone. I had a man follow me and my friend while walking into the hotel. It’s very loud so don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper. Just felt kinda dirty and the carpet felt wet? It’s ok if you don’t care about any of that and need a cheap place to stay. Close to the airport is the only benefit.

    This property was very convenient and close proximity to almost everywhere I went. The room was clean and breakfast was on point, i really liked the hotel was it was 10 minutes from the airport. I didn't know the shuttle stopped at 11PM so I was waiting to be picked up .

    They are undergoing renovation and renting in between and bs is that they are posting a apology after you pay at the front desk and it becomes non refundable. Congrats you got free construction dust with the stay...

    I woke up with ants all over my bed, on my clothes, in my sheets. Literally everywhere. I am very upset about this, and it is completely unacceptable. I have pictures and videos of many ants crawling everywhere and it is quite disgusting.

    But the killer is the reception: complete failure, total disaster. No courtesy, no customer service skills whatsoever, no common sense. I arrived at the hotel early. Because of that and to display their ghettoness, wickedness and greed, she managed to keep me and my family sitting at a little table waiting for close to 5 hours instead of having a room ready for us. And to top it off, she had the nerves to ask me for $15 if I want her to get a room ready for me, while other guests kept checking in and out right in front of us.. That’s disgusting. I still feel sick in my stomach. Best Western needs to watch out.

    It was fine for the one night that we stayed and they had the option for airport assistance which was helpful for the timeframes that they had.
