It was fantastic! Thank you - great price and comfortable. Highly recommend Floors were a bit “gritty,” maybe needed a once over mopping before we checked in. BUT, that was minor as our stay was perfect otherwise.

It was in an ideal location, good price and staff were polite. When arriving there were no staff in site to check us in, it took about 15 minutes for them to eventually turn up leaving us to wait in the heat and from a 9 hour flight!

Close to the beach and broadwalk, we'll priced. The check in lady was very polite, fun just a good customer service person. Rooms are quite outdated but it was ok for a 1 night stay.

It was nice location close to everywhere. Someone was available to your call at any time. I was very surprised that there was no table or anything to place my food plate. No chair, no table, nothing. How are people supposed to eat in the room I did sit on the floor. Poor!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was pleasant lounging in the pool. A pleasant walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. The staff was really pleasant.

Location The overall room was fine. The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, pool was nice. However, the bathroom was gross. The shower curtain was too short, so when you take a shower, the water runs right out of the bathroom and into the kitchenette. The bottom of the door and the surrounding woodwork were all moldy and rotted. There was also "evidence" of previous guests left in the bathroom.

It offered multiple pools across their different locations. Our second room was clean. I liked having the kitchen in the room. It was walking distance to the beach, coffee shops, and restaurants. Nick was an amazing staff member who helped us switch rooms when we were having significant issues with the first. He was very accommodating and was very concerned about the things he found in the first room. He was very responsive. Our first room was without a smoke detector, the couch had white stains all over it, the kitchen chairs were very cheap and even broke when my friend sat on it, and the microwave was not working. We were moved to another room which was much better. When we opened our balcony door, there was wet laundry scattered everywhere, and the gutter was half hanging for multiple feet. When trying to check out, no one was at the front desk, and we had to text, call and ring the doorbell multiple times. We also had scheduled a late check out at 3:00, but multiple resort staff came to our room starting at 10:00 asking when we were leaving because they wanted to clean.

The staff. The close proximity to the beach. The nearby market village, good coffee and price friendly goods like water etc. The nearby Italian restaurant had great food. The room had all the amenities. Lots of toiletries - no need to bring lotions, bath gel and shampoo. The pool area was clean and comfortable. The on-site laundry which was a reasonable price Minor point - just thought the grounds could be more maintained and the outside air-conditioners could use a wipe-down.

The first room was scary.. dingy, mosquitoes flying around... I did not want to sleep in that room... However they moved us to a much nicer room and we were completely happy with the new room, I knew I could relax and sleep ... I do feel they made it right...which means a lot to me

Each staff member that we came in contact with was very nice. Someone came in and replaced our towels and took out our trash each day. Very happy

check in at 3: we were told the room wasnt ready bcause of a bad smell in the room and theyre trying to get rid of it. We waited 45 minutes for them to come back and tell us the room is out of service because they cant get the smell out. They said they would transfer us to the hotel they own next door called “La Casa” which was fine. When we got to the hotel they were trying to charge us extra because the hotel was apparently “the best of them all and its a huge upgrade”. We said absolutely not, we didnt choose to stay here so were not paying extra. They agreed after some back and forth. They then brought us to our room and we found tons of bugs all over the bed, and the bathroom floors. We went down to the lobby to tell the staff and his reaction was just “oh okay”. The guy then transferred us to a different room which he never updated in the system i guess because later that evening when we were trying to sleep a person came to our room trying to enter the code 5 times. It was the wrong room. He came back with a different staff and they were talking really loud outside the door. About 45 mins later, another person came knocking on the door and then left. 30 mins later he came back with the staff member and staff knocked on our door super loud and yelled “guest services” and tried entering a code. We opened the door and he said no one is supposed to be in this room. We explained the situation and were super annoyed. Never coming back here its super unprofessional.

It was as expected

The staff was amazing and super helpful. The location was great, <5 min walk to the beach, away from spring break madness. They let us use their sister hotels outdoor pool and hot tub which was nice, especially since there was a construction site next door. The room was sufficient for our need, the bathroom can use an upgrade og the toilet seat that has been peeling off on the sides as well as water from the shower dripping on the floor and spilling into the kitchenette area a bit. We were disturbed by a lot of noise from the room upstairs but it was probably just some spring break kids stomping a lot, we did not notify the management and the noises went away after a while

Definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed at can’t wait to come back next year !!!🙏

#101 the bed was very good. 2 awful hard chairs in the room , no table. asked for a table she did bring us one. No blanket, asked for one ,never got it. asked for the ice machine, she told me where to go, when I found it...it was out of order. I had to pay $10.00 for parking which on your website said parking but did not mention you had to pay.

The front desk staff was amazing, location was incredible for a late 20s early 30s couple for a day trip while visiting family. Rooms were spacious and fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, cooktop and microwave! Awesome value overall. There was some construction for an apartment nearby, but I’m sure that will be cleared up soon. It really didn’t impact our say that much.

We were a family of 4. The staff were great, very kind and helpful. The building is part of a wider complex where you have access to different pools and jacuzzis. A few steps to the beach. Really well situated. The room could do with a bit of attention, like adding cutlery and mopping down the floors a bit more thoroughly. Overall we loved our stay.

The room was decent. Generally clean, but needed some repairs/updates. One mattress was completely broken and couldn’t do anything about it the first night because we arrived late. But they fixed it quickly the next morning. Convenient to text the front desk with issues. First baby crib we got was just spare parts but the manager helped us get a proper one pretty quickly. Overall, got what we paid for and had a comfortable stay.

The customer service was rude. The same morning, the lady knocked on the door and I had no idea who she was. Apparently someone that gives out new towels. I'm not sure but she was unexpected. Other people staying were rude. Loud noises. The smokers are freely smoking wherever they want. There is a door inside the room that leads to another room. It was a very questionable door. I'm glad nothing was stolen. I would not recommend this place.

Pool was super clean! Staff was amazing and very prompt. Everything was super easy upon arrival and check in. Being close to the beach was the best part. I’d say the only thing that fell short was the room. Overall it was clean but it still felt icky in a way? If that makes sense but that may just be the OCD in me. I’d stay here again possibly in another room!

Was good for what we needed a night before we went on a cruise.

The check in process needs work, we experienced a very delayed check in due to traveling office managers. We saw multiple other guests waiting by the office for an absurd amount of time. Overall, I would stay there again and recommend it for what it is.

Clean accommodations. TV remote was dead so no TV. Good strong wifi over most of the property but unusable in our room. Good stay for a night before cruise. Did not like the $10 resort fee!

The hotel really needs updating. Outside desperately needs landscaping. The tables and grills were filthy. Walkways need upkeep, ie, painting, cleaning and tree root removal. Room was in need of furnishings. There was no table and chair(s) — what’s the point in having a kitchenette if you have nowhere to eat! No desk. Only a recliner that didn’t recline stuffed in the corner. Windows were bare. Overall, room was very unfinished.

The room smells like the pool right out front and bed is a bit lumpy. It definitely feels more like a solid motel than a hotel. As a solo stay, it’s all good. The location is ideal (blocks from the beach). Staff is warm.

Only issue here is parking it seems, otherwise it’s a great value. Room was clean and kinda modern and spacious but nothing fancy obviously. Parking might be ok because they are really like ten of these places next to each other. But other than that it’s a good beach trip launch pad.

this was one of the worst places i have ever stayed, the first thing we saw when we started un- packing was a baby cockroach, secondly the deadlock to our place didn’t even work so we felt very unsafe. while checking to make sure there weren’t any other bugs we found shards of glass underneath our bed. one of the worst experiences was at 12 am our neighbors decided to get rowdy and we could hear every. single. thing. very traumatizing. also the sheets to this place were paper thin so it was hard to stay warm. overall we felt very unsafe and were approached by an old man and thought we were going to get kidnapped right outside of the entrance. on our way out to leave at 5am we got a special greeting by a ginormous cockroach in the pool taking a little swim. i advise you to not stay here.

I booked the room because of its proximity to the beach and because it had a small kitchenette. The place looked clean in the pictures, so I thought it’d be perfect for my mother/daughter trip. We arrived a little before midnight and couldn’t wait to get to sleep. The friendly gentleman at the front desk checked us in and walked us to our room. It had a musty smell, but I thought that maybe it was because the room had been locked up. Optimisticly, I figured once we got some airflow, it would be fine. Once he left, my daughter went to turn on the bathroom light and it didn’t work. When she turned back toward me, she noticed all the bugs on the bed. Wormy looking bugs were on the sheets and inside the pillow cases. We grabbed our suitcases and exited the room. The front desk manager helped with our refund, but now it was after midnight and I had to find a place for us to stay. The Hilton down the street was very accommodating and our beds weren’t covered in bugs. Overall, we laughed it off and enjoyed our week in Florida….somewhere else.

Solid economy motel room; close enough to the beach to walk, but not so close you would grab something if you forgot it. Same thing with restaurants; 22 minute stroll to Bubba Gump’s was fine and kind of the furthest restaurant to go to, lots to see on the walk. Pool was small but fine to hang in for a short time. Only off downside was no pool/beach towels at check-in - they were cranking to turn over rooms and said they were going to get some from one of their other properties, which didn’t help us but fine. They did get us into our room before 3 pm which was great so we could get to the beach asap (chair and umbrella rentals at beach end at 4:30, so small window to do that beach time for our one night). 14 minutes to the airport at 4:30 am so that was convenient.

Just a simple room, no frills at all. Clean and comfortable, but bring a heavier blanket if you need weight to sleep. The bed only had a sheet and a blanket/top cover slightly heavier than a sheet. Two front desk employees reassured me we would have a quiet room, we were room #1 right next to the office. It was not quiet. The office staff constantly banged the wall with something and we could hear through the adjoining door at times. No other rooms were available so we were stuck.

For the last 3 years I have been coming to this beautiful quiet side of Fort Lauderdale. I loved and enjoyed my stay. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was great! We booked a 2 queen bed with the kitchen stove. The room was a great size, beds are comfortable, the room and bathroom was very clean!

I was skeptical because of low price but was just staying 1 night so I figured what the heck. Turns out, I found one of the best kept little secrets. The place was great!! Comfy bed, short enough walk to the action, clean pool, and you are able to use the amenities at their other hotels in that little neighborhood. Truly a gem and I will definitely be back!

Our room was so much better than we had been expecting. We had hardwood floors, a day bed, and kitchenette. It appeared clean but the only issue I had was there was no comforter on the bed, just a few layers of sheets, maybe that's normal for Florida? The room was very large; living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Looked totally redone with new floors and paint. Two large tv's with all the pay channels. No counter space in bathroom and one mirror in entire room so two people could not get ready at once. We walked a few blocks to beach and A1A with lots of restaurants. Sat. we were gong all day to tournament. Came home and ate at the Wine Bar that had great pizza and pasta. Woke up Sunday morning to cockroaches all over the kitchen and bathroom. We had food, but it was all sealed and they were crawling over the containers. Checked out and left for tournament. If there had been no bugs, I would have rated this very high, but the bug issue was disgusting. Also, we were on second floor and one of the bottom steps on the stairs going up is extremely high and we both tripped and almost fell. This would not be good for anyone older or with a disability.

The room door was jammed the whole time. They never came with new towels unless we asked for them, the staff didn’t coordinate with one another to know that we booked an extra night and tried to move us to the opposite end of the hotel. The maid came into the room when we asked for extended checkout. The amenities were slim to none, the internet sucked… overall was pretty disappointed

Francisco at check in was great! He stored our luggage while waiting for our room to be ready, told us about local restaurants, & was always very friendly & helpful. The room was pretty big and very cheap, but there were lots of bugs in the room. The floors were very dirty as well. And the water from the tap was abit yellow. I should have spent abit more money and stayed at a more reputable place.

Negative - Bugs in room; floor was filthy because my socks were filthy; neighbors partied until 3am with music, yelling and loud talking. Only got 4 hours of sleep and stressed out. Management cut me off outside speaker when I tried to complain. Won't go back!!

The property is OK. Close to the beach, airport and cruise port. The room itself needs some TLC, it is moist and everything inside including linens feels moist despite AC going on at full blast. There is some visible moisture damage on the walls. Shower could use a shelf for the toiletries.

There was no one in the office to check people in… others had been waiting 20 mins when we arrived. Saw the same when checking out. Room was clean & had a 50’s flair… great rate bad service.

The 2 young guys checking in were amazing. Very polite and professional. After checking in they offered to show us where the room was. Our room was 301 and I’m thinking it was an older section. It wasn’t nearly as nice as our friends’ room who was in 201.

Check in process was over one hour. The guy at the desk was totally overwhelmed. The rooms are very dirty. Just changed bed sheets but never cleaned floors and shower. The bed is very outdated and totally uncomfortable. The overall condition was deteriorating. We spoke also with neighbor guest and there confirmed the same. We guess that the most reviews are faked in order to look good. We not recommend to stay there.

Great property! We were in town for one night and wanted to stay near family who was at the very expensive Conrad. Beach Gardens is in the cutest area behind all the big hotels on the beach. Very clean, quiet, near great bakeries, restaurants. Very friendly staff. The room was cozy but it had everything we needed; we would stay here again!! Thanks!

The coordination between Expedia and the hotel was terrible. I called the hotel 3 days ahead of arrival to delay my arrival (from Thursday to Saturday). The hotel said I had a 2nd reservation, which I wasn’t expecting so I asked them to cancel and then delay my arrival. Next day, I got a reminder from Expedia with the wrong info, so I called them to confirm. They said the hotel collects all the money, and as long as the hotel has it right, it’s all good. Day before arrival, hotel texts me that they are moving me to a different hotel around the corner due to overbooking (the hotel was cheaper on future reservations, but no credit was offered). When I checked in, the hotel still had 2 reservations, both of which were wrong, and didn’t match my original IMO, nor the revised info I was told by their front desk. They ended up honoring what I said happened, but we’re reluctant. This could have been a huge issue, and I can’t believe it got to that point.

I read reviews about the place being dirty and smelly. We didn't have and problems with that. The front desk wasn't attended very much on Sunday or Monday. We had to wait a spell for someone to come check us in. If you want beach towels, ask as soon as you see someone as it might be awhile before you see someone again. I didn't like that there was no place to put anything in the shower. Soap, razor, etc all had to be set on the shower floor. We also struggled to get news on the TV. I couldn't find live TV. The man tending to the rooms was very nice and helpful.

The front desk personnel is friendly you can come in and enjoy time in the pool like is yours anytime quiet day ad night there is 3 different swimming pools you can go walk to the beach is under 3 minutes

This hotel was not worth $5 a night it was filthy when you walk in it looks nice at 1st but I went to go use the bathroom n bottom of the tub was black and there was mold all around the shower, go to wash my hands there's a roach crawling around the mold on the bottom of sink so ooking everywhere else in the kitchen lettuce and food in the sink nothing had been dusted in there for years there dust on every picture behind the TVn the window sills were full of dirt, dust n bugs! They tried switching rooms went through about four or five of them I was too exhausted to keep looking so I settled on the last room that had roaches everywhere I cleaned it they moved me to one of their other properties the next day which was beautiful definitely stay at North Beach Village Hotel total difference and VERY clean... All staff were VERY helpful n kind!

The room had a smell particularly in the bathroom. The tile on the shower floor was cracked and discolored and loose tile in front of shower. They had no bath cloths, said they were all out and had to request extra hand towels and took over two hours before receiving them. Overall the room was not clean. Would definitely not recommend this hotel but the price was good but guess you get what you pay for.

It took us an hour to check in since they didn’t have staff, The couch was dirty, TV was not working, there is spiders in the room, sheets were dirty.we will be looking for a refund. Definitely avoid this place at all cost!

they should put more towels and should dress the bed daily plus they should have a a room so people that are staying should get ice as it its a hotel

The room was gross. The odor when we first walked in was extremely musty so we had to keep the door open and spray perfume to fry and let it air out. It didn’t help. There were water spots in the ceilings and spots where the plaster was hanging down. The toilet ran 24/7 then stopped flushing completely. We had to pour water in the toilet to manually flush it. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so there was no airflow and all the odors and moisture just hung in there and got increasingly worse. There was black slimy build up in the shower that could have been mold. The dining table had wholes all over it like someone had been stabbing it with a knife. We booked the room for 5 days and by the 4th afternoon NOONE had come to take the trash, or drop off towels, or do anything at all. We had to track someone down to service us. I absolutely would never stay there again. The only good things were the location and the size of rooms. Oh and at least there were no bugs that we saw.

My reservation was for beach garden when I arrived there they said they had no vacancy and they sent us to another hotel that we had to walk to with Oliver luggage a quarter of the mile away that was a nightmare place we left after one night

I reported some issues in the room. Tv doesn't work, bathroom too dirty and they never solve.

A VERY SEEDY PLACE! It took ten minutes for us to find someone to check us in. When we finally got access to the office it was dirty and should have been an indication of the room cleanliness. Piles of dirt on the floor where it was swept but not picked up, counter for coffee was gross and needed wiped down too. They over booked the hotel and sent us a few blocks down the road to another one of their properties (Royal Palms) and had to park 2 blocks away, only to have stained sheets with hair on them, no fitted sheet on mattress, hair on toilet, and a sticky floor. Not to mention a DNA looking substance on the box spring cover. They showed us another room but it wasn’t any better so they refunded us. Their current guests that were there also seemed “rowdy” and maybe were long term renters.

Place was gros, bugs all over the bed and counters floors were extremely dirty and muddy. We got no blankets or towels asked for them and still never got them and someone stole my bracelet

There was never anyone at the desk. We wanted beach towels and had to go 1-1/2 blocks to get them. Also the safe was broken. Figured there wasn’t anyone around anyway....

To start, there is no one EVER at the front desk. When someone finally showed up, He was mask-less and was entertained by his cell phone to the point I had to remind him I was standing there and am I checked in. Come to find out I was put in another hotel of theirs around the block... No I was not informed of this prior. My card key did not work. I had to get one from the housekeeping staff to let me in because the guy left as soon as he told me have a good day. I get to the room and there was garbage cans full of what the previous party left. The floor was filthy (there was literal dirt on the floor). I killed 2 bugs within 10 minutes of being there. The sheets had old stains on them. There is a crazy amount of dust accumulated in corners and behind the bed and other surfaces. And the bathroom had lots of mildew. The suite had two TVs and only one worked. The pools were gross and cloudy.. They always had something floating in them. I only saw someone cleaning one of the pools once.. and I stood for 5 days. My neighbors were smokers so there were cigarette butts right outside my door every morning. I only saw one employee wearing a mask - most of the time. I was out for an entire day and Housekeeping left my room open after entering to clean it - clean what, I do not know.. they only fixed the bed. I hope no one goes through what my kids and I had gone through. I will never stay here again.

Stay was ok. No one at front desk full time. Tv did not work, no bulbs for one light, no one maintained pool that we saw, but we have stayed at worse.

This hotel was kind a cute quaint little place. It was overall quiet excluding some unruly neighbors. There isn’t anyone on site as they are each boutique hotels of the North Beach hotel group so if you need anything it can take a minutes. My only complaint about this place is the internet is terrible. So, if you want to disconnect this is definitely a place for you, not for the contractor that needs some internet access. It was clean the check in staff was fantastic, and it’s only a few blocks from the beach. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Ft Lauderdale.

Nice and quiet place if you want to stay close to the beach

Arrived at property to find it closed -literally. Another guest arrived. Offered a room at a “sister” property. Horrible room. Chipped tiles in floor, damaged blinds, no curtains. Next to parking lot- very noisy. No WiFi entire stay. No front desk, it was clean and the poor staff seemed sincere but seriously overwhelmed. Was given a slightly reduced rate. Felt like a bait/ switch. Contacted Expedia and they did nothing. I will not use Expedia again.

Perfect location, just one block from the beach! Room was very spacious and clean!
