    Close to things to do, located on the beach, friendly staff, and comfortable bed. The pillows were terrible, so plan accordingly. Of course it is always possible that we had the one room, with the one set of god-awful pillows. Still, be forewarned.

    One room had a broken air conditioning unit that was never repaired despite several attempts by staff. The only solution provided was portable fans, which was unacceptable given the heat. We were also directed by valet staff to park our truck in a lot across the street without being informed that it was not affiliated with the hotel or that additional fees would apply. The next morning, we were charged $70 for overnight parking. Most concerning was a serious safety issue with one of our rooms. The door would not properly lock and could be pushed open from the outside. We reported the problem immediately, but it was never fixed during our stay despite assurances from management. Because we no longer felt safe, we had to rearrange sleeping accommodations for our family. At checkout, management acknowledged the issues and offered compensation, including a complimentary stay and meal vouchers. However, weeks later, despite multiple follow-ups and providing requested evidence, we have not received what was promised. The combination of unresolved maintenance problems, lack of transparency regarding parking fees, and a room that could not be secured made this a very disappointing experience. I hope the resort takes steps to improve both guest safety and customer service.

    The room we were and did not have a place to put your clothes. There were no dressers. The and the pool was well maintained. The problem is the $56 a day hidden parking fee that you don’t find out until you get there or at least we didn’t and the $42 a day resort fee which we didn’t know anything about until we were checking out. Plus when we checked in, they took a $500 deposit. The air-conditioning in the room was like a refrigerator. We woke up the first morning and it was 63° in the room even though we had it set on 72.

    What I liked about the property that it was right on the beach. Property lost its charm, the keep up was poor. Long weekend and only one elevator functioning. Carpet in room stunk humidity. Furniture in room, chipped and old. It looks like if the property going on sale. Restaurant in hotel closed early. It’s sad the place has potential.

    My overall experience was nice however I was not informed about to daily resort fee so my budget was cut a little no problem. I will say that my air conditioning in my room was poorly maintained and was way too loud at night I reported it and nothing was done. Also the carpet in my room was also not maintained well

    So great! Right on the beach unlike other properties along the strip where you have to cross the street to get to the beach. Also this hotel has a bar in the lobby with mermaids swimming in a human sized tank!!! Great vibes at night!

    I loved being able to step outside and be just moments away from the beach. The property was well maintained, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. It was exactly the kind of getaway I was hoping for. The only drawback during my stay was the amount of seaweed along the shoreline. However, I completely understand that this is a natural occurrence and not something the hotel has any control over. The staff clearly worked hard to keep the beach area as clean as possible despite the conditions. Other than that, my experience was exceptional. The beautiful location, outstanding service, and comfortable accommodations made this a trip to remember. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beachfront escape.

    Loved that it was on the beach with resort chairs. Loved there were two pools. The main pool was hard to get a lounge chair, wish they had more. The staff was amazing & helpful. At no fault of B Ocean Resort, the city was preparing the Beach for a concert. They started before 8am making all kinds of noise with machinery. We couldn’t get hot water in shower until maintenance was called.

    I loved the location, beautiful spot on the water. Perfect location on the main street not to crowded. I was happy there was a little convenient store as I forgot some stuff lol We tried the buffet for breakfast, it was nothing more than a Continental breakfast with a hefty price. Also mattress where awful.

    When we arrived we got a room “poolside” # 1409 I think. The room was FILTHY dirty, smelled like mold and mildew, hairs all over the bathroom and over an inch of grime on the AC unit that barely worked, stains on the carpets and more. When I complained the night audit gentleman said “yah we get that complaint a lot” We got another room on the 9th floor of a different building. It was cleaner but still very dissatisfying. We got a $100.00 “hotel” credit and still had to pay full price for the first night even though we arrived after midnight and could not stay in that filthy room. Stay at the Omni at least it’s new and clean. I do NOT recommend this property.

    Para lo grande q es el hotel la piscina es un mini hueco, ni espacio ni camas ni sillas para sentarse y mucho menos tohallas; en la playa me quisieron cobrar las camas, las tohallas y la sombrilla por media hora porque yo llegué a las 4:30pm y a las 5:00 pm ellos finalizaban todos los servicios. Llegué hacer el checking 6:30 pm sun la habitación no estaba lista me cobraron infinidades d cargos por la habitación y el hasta el depósito lo cobraron doblemente la señora dayana q estaba en ese momento en la recepción, t cobran diario 57 dólares d parking más 45 d fee (diarios) por habitación mas nose cuantas cosas más, habitaciones q los baños estaban llenos d moho y mugre. En fin es un desastre total aquello y t cobran hasta la risa después d pagar tu reservación

    Staff was understanding that their property is not acceptable for most guests. The sheets were stained, the carpet had piles of dirt caked into it, the “ocean view” was really a view of the top of a building, the pool was cloudy and green, the list goes on.

    Diana at the front desk is the only bright spot who can be mentioned from this terrible facility. Hotels.com had a room listed as one king bed plus 2 double beds. The hotel does not have a room with 3 beds. So we were given a room with 2 double beds only. Diana was wonderful in helping us out. But I can’t say anything else good about this bad hotel. The only coffee in the hotel is at a very, very bad (and excruciatingly slow and expensive) “Starbucks” that is only opened at breakfast. After that you can’t get coffee until the next day. Our hotel room was not cleaned and, evidently, the person who was supposed to clean our room had no idea how to make up the bed. Make sure you have plenty of small bills in your wallet because there is no way to get change for even a 20 dollar bill in the entire hotel because the front desk doesn’t have any cash and the valet stand is the only cash option. But they didn’t have any cash either. So you’re out of luck. If dinner is what you want then there is only One kitchen at the hotel. So you can watch your food being carted across the hotel lobby. However, the food isn’t covered. I guess Covid information hasn’t yet reached this “establishment”. Please don’t waste your money staying at this hotel. This is the worst hotel (?) we’ve stayed at in many, many years. There are other hotels in the area that are cleaner, nicer and worth your money.

    We were then told we had to move rooms at 1:15am, walk to a different wing of the hotel, across the marina and lobby, more than a 5 min walk away, and the replacement room was a partial intercoastal and partial ocean-view room, but a much farther walk to the actual beach than our previous room. After moving all of our belongings again, the air conditioning unit in that room was also making loud noises continuously, forcing us to move a SECOND time in the middle of the night to a different room down the hall. At that point, our entire evening and rest were completely ruined. We spent the night dealing with maintenance issues and room changes instead of enjoying the accommodations and experience we specifically paid for to celebrate a momentous occasion in our marriage. I understand that issues can happen, but this was far beyond a minor inconvenience. After speaking with a manager-in-training downstairs at the front desk, he waived the $50 resort fee and told us he would email or call us back for further compensation and never did. What started off as a lovely, last minute getaway for our anniversary, turned into a highly disappointing stay.

    I experience racism, disrespect from the manager, Zach, and one of the security officers I went downstairs to notify them that the bathroom sink was stopped up in the room was not what I expected and to return back to my room to find out my key wasn’t working. I had left my whole wallet in the room so I didn’t have ID on me at the time. I went back to the desk to let them know the key wasn’t working. I was talked to like I wasn’t staying at the hotel like I didn’t pay my money and after I explained to him that I only came down with the key card just to let them know that I was having a problem with the sink, and I was disrespected, questioned by the security, as if I was given a problem when all I want was to get back inside my room, they made up an excuse that I was being disruptive in the hotel, and they called the police on me after one of the security guards was nice enough to help open up the door. The police came to my room and was opening up the door unexpectedly while I was undressed. It was unacceptable and uncalled for by the manager Zack on top of it having to rush out of my room I wind up losing my engagement ring on my 40th birthday everything was ruined all because I couldn’t get back inside of my hotel room. It’s a terrible hotel terrible staff in my room shouldn’t been available if it wasn’t prepared properly horrible experience and I would never return back to such a hotel and on top of it one of the security guards let us know people that look like me they a

    Breakfasts are paid, delicious on the territory of the hotel. The price does not match the services and comfort, you spend a lot of time walking around the hotel, it is large, there are 2 pools and one closes at 7 o'clock, because there is a show, the second pool is full of people, it also closes at 8 o'clock, the price of a sunbed on the beach is overpriced. They write off incomprehensible payments from the card, it is impossible to contact the hotel, parking for three days costs $180.If you want to enjoy your vacation, look for another hotel

    I am very disappointed with the valet service experience. Unfortunately, we encountered a worker who was extremely rude and dismissive throughout our interaction. We felt completely ignored, and when concerns were brought up, there was no apology or attempt to address the situation professionally. Customer service should make guests feel welcomed and respected, but this experience was the opposite. The valet/employee’s attitude and lack of accountability left a very negative impression. I hope management takes this matter seriously and works on improving the professionalism and courtesy of the valet staff. the SHOWER water was very hot which I love, loved

    Had to change rooms 2 times. First room was motel room. Second room was nice but had ants on the dresser and in the bed. The third room was overlooking valet and was woken up by beeping trucks in the morning. Usually it is a good hotel- especially in the newer towers. I expected better on a Wednesday on a non-busy day. Not staying here again :(

Just wish I could rent a bathrobe and slippers, though.

    The property was ok. The pool by the beach is very small and crowded. The food was decent but overpriced. The beds were very small and not that comfortable. Tiny bathroom, exhaust fan didn’t work, glass door. Entrance door to our room kept jiggling making it sound like someone was trying to break in, waking us up before the sun came up and continued on for hours. The center pool was a quiet atmosphere and front entrance was nice. The location to the beach was also nice. We also didn’t like having to pay $55 per day for parking. All in all it was alright but we won’t stay there again.

It was Memorial Day weekend and our room wasn’t quite ready yet when we arrived at 5pm, but my girlfriend and I were each given a free drink voucher for the hotel bar which we were cool with. Didn’t have to wait around long either - like 15 minutes. Room was nice and comfy. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops around Las Olas. Fun property to explore. Great views from some of the upper floors! We loved how our room opened up to the outside, not a hallway. Definitely would stay here again. B Ocean is great.

    The room itself had several issues immediately. A pillow cover was torn on both sides, and after removing it, housekeeping simply placed the same damaged pillow back on the bed the next day. There was also no hairdryer in the room despite it being advertised online. After calling the front desk twice, we were first given a broken one, then another maid had to take a working hairdryer from a different room. The bathroom design was terrible. The open-concept shower caused water to flood toward the front door every time we showered unless we blocked it with towels. The second-story pool was peaceful until guests were repeatedly forced out for the resort’s paid mermaid shows. The beachfront infinity pool no longer matches the online photos because a large wooden bar now blocks much of the view, making the advertising misleading. The $45 daily resort fee included beach chairs, but service was disorganized. We paid early for an umbrella spot, were told it was safe to leave briefly to change, and returned to find our spot sold to another couple. Security was also ineffective. We endured loud disturbances from neighboring guests at 2 a.m. on multiple nights, and repeated calls to security resulted in little action. Management appeared aware of the issues but showed little concern.

    The room was nice and we had a great view. The amenities unfortunately were misleading from the website. They had two treadmills at the gym but one was broken, they only had 2 bikes for the entire resort of 1000+ people (which were unavailable every time we asked to use them), the infinity pool was essentially unusable due to the dozens of children everywhere and the excruciatingly loud music from the DJ. The umbrellas were $38 extra even though the website says umbrellas are an amenity. I had to ask several times for more coffee pods and it was difficult to get any help from any of the staff or answer to questions. The positives were that the beach was right there and there was a waitress that came around with drinks. 20% gratuity is added to everything - from the drinks at the bar to the umbrellas. The food was subpar, and there’s no other restaurants except if you walk a mile, which we did and that was great. Definitely a good place for kids and families but not for couples.

    Extremely crowded pool with filthy towels and chairs. I’ve upgraded my room to have a balcony and got a wedding going on until 1am right under our room, my 2 years old woke up twice crying because of the noise. Mattress had dirty spots, lamps had a thick layer of dust. Overall I left even more tired than I came to this hotel. Would not recommend this hotel, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

We booked and fully paid for a room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 older children/teenagers), but the two beds were extremely small and completely inadequate for a family of four. Sleeping was very uncomfortable and the night became almost impossible to rest properly. The experience was so bad that we decided to leave after the first night and move to another hotel, despite already having paid for the full stay. What is even more concerning is that during checkout, the employee acknowledged that management is aware of the issue with the beds and mentioned they are “planning a renovation.” If the hotel already knows this is a problem, continuing to market these rooms as suitable for 4 guests feels very misleading. The pool areas were also chaotic and severely overcrowded. The hotel clearly has too many guests for the size of its facilities. There were not enough lounge chairs, so many people were sitting or lying on towels on the ground. Guests were drinking alcohol inside the pool and playing loud music on personal speakers, while staff appeared to do little to enforce rules or maintain a relaxing environment. To make things worse, one of the pools closes early for the hotel’s mermaid show/bar activities, leaving only one small pool for a huge number of guests. The gym was also extremely small, overcrowded, and had equipment that did not function properly. Overall, this property did not match the expectations created by its marketing, pricing, or room descriptions.

    Reserved a standard room. We feel confident we received the Expedia Special . One of the partially updated rooms , view of roof and AC was loud. We were there for one night so didn’t complain but if we were there longer we would have needed to be moved . The resort itself was exactly what it advertised and amenities were excellent. We would recommend and would stay there again.

    The only thing good was the beach. The pool was over packed and the elevators were broken. The ice machines weren’t working. It took them 4 hrs to bring me some extra pillows. The sink was clog and when we came in the room the toilet paper was soaked as if it fell in the water. The rooms need maintenance.

    I def recommend this hotel. Beach access comes with 2 lounges in your stay. Umbrella is extra tho. Pool access leads to beach. You’re also able to use hotel amenities day of check out at no extra cost. Leave your bags w the valet they tag it for you. We only did 1 night but it was 24 hours for us since check in is at 4

    The pool outside was very nice and big. The staff were all very nice. The food choices were limited and the tips were added in automatically and we didn’t know it the first time. No one pointed it out and that was disappointing. Our room wasn’t cleaned a couple times and we had no clean towels. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned at 6 at night. We also had a fire alarm at 230 in the morning. Someone was vaping apparently. So many of the staff were above and beyond nice and that makes a difference.

    Excellent Front Desk Staff!! I had my 83 year old mother in law visiting. They were so kind to provide me with a wheel chair to transport her through the walkway and to her room. Valet was amazing, they were quick, engaging and very professional. Housekeeping was attentive and very accommodating when they provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste after we forgot to bring ours. Pool and beach staff were fantastic too. I will definitely book again in my next return. It was a one day stay but it was well worth it. I was in room 1284 amazing view of the Beach.

    Hotel close to the beach, but the beds are very small, barely fit 2 people. My wife has bug bed bite all over her legs. I read the reviews and someone else also have bug bed bite so look out. Don't Stay here. None of the USB charging are working. The Safe is not working. The Iron is not working. Only one elevator is working. I will never ever come back to this hotel again. They also charged $50 for checking in early.

    I do not recommend this hotel at all. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had while traveling with my family. The rooms were extremely dirty, the beds were broken, and the air conditioning barely worked. The room keys constantly stopped working, and the staff did nothing to properly fix the situation.On top of that, they charged extra money to my account, promised they would refund it, and I am still fighting to get my money back. The pools were completely overcrowded with no place to sit or enjoy time with family. The beach was dirty and smelled terrible, and the bathrooms were clogged and disgusting.To make things even worse, if you have a larger vehicle they give you a hard time about parking and charge you extra money to park somewhere else, even when you have to do it yourself because they won’t help.By far the worst place I have ever stayed at. I would never come back, not even if the stay was free. I am still dealing with them trying to recover my money.Not only were the rooms disappointing, but the biggest issue is that they continue charging my bank account without authorization even after my stay. Money keeps disappearing from my account and I am still fighting to get my refunds back.This is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Guests should not have to worry about unauthorized charges or feel like their money is being stolen. I trusted this hotel with my family vacation and deeply regret it.

    They shouldn't charge a gratuity at the restaurant, especially since it's a buffet! Why pay a tip when you serve the food yourself? Regarding the second-floor pool: they rudely forced us to get out, claiming there was a mermaid show taking place. None of the guests present could understand why we were being prevented from enjoying an amenity we had already paid for. At the very least, they should have invited us to watch the show.

    We were in town for a one night stay before a cruise. We were excited to check in and start our vacation. I greeted the woman at the desk and asked her how she was . Her response was "I'm in pain." Oh, ok. Sorry to hear that. And I was. But that is not who the hotel needs making a first impression. I was immediately felt let down and almost guilty to be excited. She said they have rooms available then but it would be $25 for an early check in. We have traveled all over the US and 25 countries in Europe and I have never heard of an "early check in charge". We just paid it so we could get to exploring the hotel and area. One of the things I was excited about was the one bar and restaurant they had inside, it is a really cool retro nautical theme. We were disappointed to find out it was closed all day. So a hotel has one indoor restaurant and it's closed all day on a weekend? They have one other snack bar type restaurant out by the pool but the rain looked like a sure thing anytime. We walked around the rest of the property and it just looked run down. Paint chipping, pool furniture worn out, pool water looked dirty. The next morning at 6:30 we were awakened to an ear deafening sound of a fire alarm. Everyone had to evacuate. We stood by while the fire trucks came and it was declared a false alarm, the system is not working properly. We went back up to our room and two hours later the same fire alarm happened. Instead of feeling refreshed for our cruise were were tired/stressed.

    Me and my cousin came down for Mothers Day weekend; and had a great time. However, this resort nickel and dime you for everything and it was a bit overwhelming. Parking you had to valet and it was $57 a day and you really couldn’t park any where else. Every drink and meal had added service fee and gratuity's added. Our room was nice but it needs a deep cleaning. But overall we had a great time.

    Decent value for oceanfront room, but facilities are slightly run down. I believe they sell day passes for the hotel, so the pool can get extremely packed on the weekends with people who aren't guests of the hotel. I recommend a cabana on the beach if you can splurge. Food options are decent, in close walking distance to many other beach restaurants.

    It is sad because I stayed at this hotel several times before and never had any complains. This time ,my room did not have all the towels needed the first day , the hair dryer was broken , toilet seat loose from the floor , no dj on the pool which is one of the things made us come back all the time . The people from the valet parking did not understand that we want only parking for a day and they want to charge us for overnight , specially JENIFER the parking supervisor was very rude . I will start exploring other places . His hotel is not as pleasant at is used to be

    After seeing many bad reviews I was surprised on how good was my stay. Rooms was decently clean, amenities also good and staff were super helpful and nice. I got the room with terraza ocean view and I enjoyed a lot. Food and valet parking are very pricey but as it's expected in any resort hotel.

    I have stayed at b ocean multiple times over the years and this past visit was rather disappointing. At check in there was a lot of chaos in general and the girl who checked me in messed up our reservation. It did get fixed but she then tried to have me pay for someone else’s room hold and said it was the same amount of money so it was no big deal. The guy at the desk told her no. She then gave us directions to the wrong area of where we were staying and we needed to remind her to give us our beach bands. Our room was not exactly what it’s been in the past either, which was disappointing. We don’t need our room cleaned crazily or anything but we weren’t even given wash cloths to wash up with on the second day. We also came back to our room and the door was left cracked open. There seemed to be some issues too with electric because our ac kicked in and everything turned off and in the middle of the night it would not come on for a long time and the room would get super hot. And the staff in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast to check you in was just very unhelpful and we stood there after we had asked for a table and nobody helped us. It was odd. With that being said there was an amazing server at the pool restaurant outside who was extremely helpful and the property location is beautiful. There Weren’t any towels and the one lady was so kind and went to get us some and the people on the beach were also great. Again we’ve started numerous times and this was not the same

    We arrived during a power outage that affected the building we were staying in. After waiting two hours we requested a room in a building that had power. We reserved an ocean front balcony and moved to beach view no balcony. They told us we would lose the balcony but I did not know they would charge us for a balcony room. Not fair!

    My room had a balcony overlooking the beach. Beautiful view. The rooms were old and very dusty. Didn't seem clean except for the clean sheets. Bathroom had hair everywhere from the previous guest. Not worth the money when there are plenty of other hotels on the strip. Continental breakfast not includedand was $32 if you wanted it. Valet fee, resort fee..soo many fees for an old outdated room. Picture advertised was not accurate. There was no thermostat in the room to control the AC. We were extremely cold. Definitely would not recommend this resort.

    This property is in a great location! Direct beach access, a nice pool with pool bar, great lobby and nighttime activities. The room I stayed in was a little outdated and the tower I was in was a little complicated to get to, but that wouldn't deter me from booking again. It was a nice change from where I usually stay.

    The sheets off outselves and put them on the floor. When we got to the room, there was a dirty towel on our balcony and it was not removed until day 4 of us being there. The second story pool is very outdated. The other pool by the beach was very tight, we went out around 11am and we were never able to get beach chairs because they were filled so we were forced to go to the beach to lay out. Our front door was very hard to lock and unlock. There was people partying next to us a few times and it was incredibly loud. Moral of story, we paid $350 a night and this was what we had to deal with. I couldnt wait t come home and sleep on a clean bed.

    Room was very clean and spacious. Staff was great. We got off the Carnival boat in Miami and got to the resort early, they had no problem getting us a room to check in early for a small fee. Pool was nice and beach access was right there. Only thing I can say is our room was right off elevators so it got a little loud at times but nothing I would complain about but would just rather have a different spot. Would definitely stay again.

    One of the beds didn’t have a fitted sheet and other double bed sheets had a few stains on them. Also the shower leaked onto the floor and had to clean it up after every shower. No options on tv for streaming just standard cable. If you’re on inter-coastal side you do have a long walk across a skywalk to your room just fyi. Other than that everything else was fine.

    I get it. On the beach. F1 weekend etc etc. That said, for the price, I did not expect the room to have wood furnishings that looked like it was from a high school shop class. The bed was lumpy at best. Front desk seemed hurried/bothered at check in and wasn’t even asked about the stay at checkout. Bartenders seemed uninterested even on a slow night.

    Our room needed a lot of attention. The furniture was dated and significantly scratched up, the drywall by the door in the bathroom door had chunks out of it, and the idea of a frosted glass bathroom door that doesn't latch doesn't seem well thought out. Lastly, while it was nice that beach chairs were provided there was a group on rhe beach playing inappropriate music (personal speakers weren't supposed to be allowed) and used the "N" word repeatedly in their conversation with no regard to the families around them and no one addressed it. We are very disappointed in our experience there.

    Beware that there are two main buildings to the hotel. Marina side, be prepared to walk across a bridge in a hot hallway away from ALL amenities. Main building looks super new and upgraded, but marina building is older and surface level clean. Our room was clean, but looked like someone came in to paint or attempt to upgrade space on a budget. Pool area is small for such a large hotel, don’t expect to get a chair… not enough available. Although we had amenities bands, there was a hut stating we needed to pay for chairs at the beach. We got one time drink tickets upon check in, I guess that was a perk.

    I booked a king bed with ocean front balcony and never did up staying in that room. At first they gave me a double bed ocean room. Then I went and tried to discuss it with the front desk to then be given a intercostal room with a king bed and no balcony. To some the balcony might not matter but to me it does I traveled over a 1000 miles and was looking forward to my balcony looking out to the ocean. Well after staying in the intercostal for one night after a long travel day I went down the next morning hoping they would of had it worked out and maybe the room I booked would be available but no so went back to the double rooms and balcony that’s supposed to be looking out towards the ocean which it was but this time they put us in a corner room and the views just weren’t as good there was a bunch of trees and stuff right out in front kinda blocking the view. The elevators were slow and half the time they didn’t work. Valet was good but very clustered. It just wasn’t at all was what I was expecting and I will never be staying at this hotel again.

    Was okay at best. They upcharge on everything. I bought the ocean view room but it was more of a view of the sand and partial ocean. $56 for parking every night. They were testing fire alarms for all 3 days so you couldn’t be in your room for at least 2 hours every day because of the alarm going off constantly. No compensation offered. Food and drinks sub par but super expensive. If you want an umbrella next to beach chair it’s additional charges. Just overall they up charge everything for what should be reasonable. Will not be returning.

    There are a few small areas that could use some improvement. Our room was missing a few basic items upon arrival, and the water pressure in the bathroom wasn’t the best. Nothing that ruined our stay, but a little more attention to those details would make the experience even better. Overall, it was a good stay with great service, a clean property, and a beautiful beach atmosphere. We would definitely consider staying again.

    Our room view was great. But our room was not taken care of properly. I didn't like the sound of the air conditioner, or the temperature control. We had to request toilet paper after 2 days, we also didn't have a trash can for 2 days and had to find a housekeeper to get one, and we had a problem with ordering food service because the phone didn't work 1 day. Beside these, we also ran out of shower soap the last 3 days, so we used ours and had to request water and sugar for our coffee. Additioally, we didn't like the way the pool water looked at times. It seemed to be cloudy to me. Staff was great though.

    So we stood there for one night and than ended up adding an extra one with this hotel. We didn’t think it would be an issue and we figured we would be allowed to stay in the same room considering we are the “in house guest” and that is suppose to take priority. When I went to the front desk to book it for another night I was informed that somebody reserved that room so we had to pack all our stuff up and switch rooms which was very inconvenient. I understand things happen, however as someone who use to work in a hotel myself, whoever is staying in house is SUPPOSE to have top priority because we are the paying customer. It was just very tedious because we had to up and move everything. And ontop of that, the AC in BOTH rooms we were in were barely working. It was hot in the room the whole time we were there. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again because of these inconveniences.

    The wifi NEEDS to be updated. It does not work at all. But I had a room right on the beach with plenty of seats on the private beach. The beach was clean and such fun! The strip to walk on being right there is awesome. About 15 minutes from elbow room walking! The pool area was such a vibe with drinks and laughing and music. The food was super yummy! Gym was clean and had all the things I needed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. One thing I wish is for a breakfast sit down area and more gluten free options. Thank you so much !     I loved that the property had its own private beach and was close to many restaurants. When we first arrived the room had noticeably unclean parts (clear duck tape on the wall, hair in the shower). When we checked in also asked for waters to be brought to our room but they never came. We had arrived late and just wanted to go to sleep so we mentioned it Saturday morning before we left for the day that we would like our room cleaned. We were gone all day and they never came to clean the room. Again we were too tired to deal with it and went to bed. Sunday morning we asked again for it to be clean and water to be delivered. Got back around 4pm, they never came. I went to the desk frustrated and brought up all the things I had let go the last 2 days. They apologized which I appreciated and said they would send someone right away. By the time we got back to the room that evening the room had been serviced but the tape was still on the wall and they made our bed with a flat sheet that kept moving instead of a fitted sheet revealing all the stains on the mattress. We were going to call the front desk, but the phone was broken. When we went to check out early the next morning and tell someone of the room. Waited 15 min for someone to even attempt to help us check out but no one was available. We dropped our keys in the key station and went to the airport. They also charge way too much for their “Starbucks”, it cost over $50 for me and my husband to get a few sides and a breakfast burrito. My yogurt side was disgusting and half water, could not be finished.

    We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing with mishap after mishap. At check-in, rooms were not ready on time (by hours!) and the lobby was packed with people arriving for the wedding and related to a cruise. The lobby restroom was filthy. Once we finally checked in, we had reserved rooms with double beds, but were told upon arrival that none were available and were asked to “check back the next morning.” Fortunately one of the king rooms had a pull out couch but it took multiple calls and waiting in line at the front desk to get bedding and we were told there were no extra pillows (really!?! In the whole hotel you have no extra pillows). The carpets throughout the property were also noticeably dirty and sticky, and the front desk appeared understaffed, resulting in long wait times both in person and on the phone. The most concerning issue occurred when our room was serviced and turned over prior to our official checkout day! As a result, eight bottles of champagne were missing. Despite multiple in-person visits, phone calls, and text messages, the response was nonexistent and ultimately unresolved. We were repeatedly told someone would follow up, but never received a call from management. This level of service and lack of accountability is unacceptable. We cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

    This was the only hotel on the beach under $200 a night on 2 days notice. Not a 4 star property but it was exactly what you would expect from $190 a night. The staff was great and the location was pretty good. This place definitely had its quirks.. the room was nice, but the bathroom doesn't have ventilation so after a shower it would be a steam room for 2 hours. The AC also barely works and the curtains have to be open 24/7 as they are too long and completely cover the AC when closed. the pools have limited seating but we never had a problem, dont even bother trying to get a chair by the infinity pool. The beach was great but they try to charge you 40 bucks for an umbrella and there's about a foot between each chair, not exactly relaxing, $25-50 for early check in, and $28 for a burger and fries. Everything there is certainly overpriced but it's a 15 minute walk to the main spots. The hotel was very busy and very loud. I personally would not stay here again, but this is exactly what I expected. Its fine in a pinch, Some people book a hotel for under $200 per night and expect it to be the four seasons.. Have realistic expectations for the cheapest hotel on the beach!

    Overbooked and always had to wait for anything we needed. The card reader on our door battery stopped working and they couldn’t find any working walkie talkies to get someone from security to open the door for us. I needed to fill my insulin pump and we couldn’t even eat not access our room. No apologies or anything. The place was a zoo and was packed all time and there were huge lineups! We will not be returning to this hotel ever!

I don't believe in giving unless deserved i always give gratuity, however the services provided was not deserving. CSR was very lacking. Need your waiters and housekeeping to be more approachable and greet your guests. This would make your hotel resort deserving of the resort fees and 18% gratuity. I would not have minded these fees since higher end resorts have them however only if the atmosphere was hospital and welcoming, Disappointed it was lacking. Did not like my view of the beach being blocked do to construction for an up coming event. Would have been nice to know, so would have booked elsewhere. AC unit too loud. Need a quieter one. Disappointed that the 2 complimentary water bottles were not provided for each day we were at the resort but only 1 day. Should be all the days you stayed since each day you charge a resort fee and you would provide 2 bottles per day of booking if different customer book each day. This would make your resort more favorable and a good perk.

    My family and I stayed for 7 nights with two rooms. Pros - location and proximity to beach, paid buffet breakfast was good but featured food that was the same for entire stay, deep pool was quiet and clean, sheets clean. Cons - mid-week scared by someone aggressively beating repeatedly on our door at 1:00 am really scaring our 10 YO, required two calls to security before the drunk and disorderly person was stopped and let into the room next door. The person continued to yell and slam things within their room then ran their shower water for 45 minutes (paper thin walls), our room was not clean with carpet obviously dirty, furnishings dated and beat-up, heat didn't work which took 2 days and 2 people working on it before resolved after waking to a 60ish degree room, inoperable safe took 3 requests over 3 days to get fixed with a new safe finally being brought, two days no room cleaning with no fresh towels, had to request shower soap and tissues, paid room upgrade to ocean view allowed for a balcony view only when standing due to type of railing that obstructs view when sitting, Salty Siren pool had limited chairs, pool drinks were over $20+ each, lunch for two adults and two kids $185 (burgers for 2 adults, chicken strips for 2 kids, no beverages 18% mandatory tip included). Overnight mandatory valet parking is pricy at $57. Noted details of stay quality at checkout (when asked) without so much as an apology or offer of an accommodation. Won't be staying here again!

    Room was not ready at 4:00 check in time. Front desk said they would notify us when ready but didn’t. Finally got room at 5:30 with no apology. Entry door would not latch correctly unless door was slammed. Dead bolt would not work. Safe not operational because of low battery. Curtains detached from rod. Ran out of toilet paper and tissue. Overall condition of room ok but not excellent. Restaurant and bar access and availability not communicated.Beach access was excellent and Sand Bar staff excellent. For price point we would definitely not recommend

    Overall, B Ocean is a good hotel with a nice atmosphere and great location. However, the front desk experience felt lacking in customer service — it didn’t seem like guest concerns were a priority. Additionally, one elevator in the south building was out of service, which caused longer wait times. On a positive note, the poolside staff and bartender were very pleasant, welcoming, and great to chat with. They definitely made the stay more enjoyable.

    I don’t know who called this a 4 star hotel. Maybe it was at one time. Maybe ICE came and took all of the staff. It certainly has nothing that a four star hotel has. There a two disgruntled staff members to check people in while everyone stands in line with nowhere to sit in the lobby. You can get 2 venti Starbucks for 30 dollars while you wait which makes paying 15 for the same thing at home seem really cheap! The entertainment is a constant stream of people interrupting to complain. When you finally get to the room you can tell it had been painted at some point because there was paint on the carpets, on the glass on the bathroom door. We stayed in a days in once and it was cleaner than this room. The carpet looked 30 years old. There was 1/4 inch of dust on the baseboards and cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom. The outlets did not work. There is no wifi. You cannot stream on their TVs. We stayed Thursday through Monday and had housekeeping on Friday only. We had to go get towels and toilet paper at the desk, which was an obvious problem for the staff by the heavy sighs we heard. We were in the hotel across the street. The door to the street was open, requiring no key. The elevator required no key. The doors were open and unlocked with access to the street. No cameras no security. There are two small pools with old dirty chairs to lay on. I could go on and on. Never again. We stayed at the HARD ROCK, a real 4 star hotel for the next 3 days. What a pleasure it was.

    Once our cancellation period expired, we were informed of a $43 plus taxes charge per night. We ate in the Wreck Restaurant having confirmed the Mermaid Show would happen. It did not so we paid for a premium meal but did not receive the show. The room was cold and neither the air conditioning nor the in room electric heater warmed it up. A number of the electric points did not work. Will not be staying there again.

    Pool deck and beach were great! Mermaids were a bit misleading... we checked multiple times during the suggested hours, but never caught a glimpse. Also, snacks aren't allowed on the beach unless you purchase them from the hotel. It was odd to watch people being escorted off the beach by security for having Publix pretzels in their pool bag.

    The room had no fan so after people took showers our room was so sticky for the rest of the night. The beds were full size beds. It was $55 to park per night which is ridiculous!     Unfortunately, the condition of the room itself was disappointing. I understand normal wear and tear, but this went beyond that. There was a lot of dust on the lamps—not just a little—and noticeable stains on several picture frames around the room. One behind the bed literally looked like handprints from nacho cheese Doritos. The TV remote barely worked, which was frustrating. When I tried to open the patio door, the door handle actually fell off. It appeared the screw had snapped, which is a serious maintenance issue. While the ocean view balcony was fantastic and definitely a highlight, the glass patio doors were covered in fingerprints and smudges that made the room feel unclean. To make matters worse, housekeeping knocked on the door twice without announcing themselves and then walked right in, which felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. The amenities, however, were amazing. The two pools, coffee shop, and gym were all great and very well maintained. I personally feel like more money has been put into the amenities than into updating and maintaining the rooms themselves. What really adds to the disappointment is the price. The cost is comparable to a luxury resort, but the room quality and overall experience do not match that level at all.

    Paid a luxury hotel price for what felt like a poorly maintained motel (much the building is a converted motel). While the staff was friendly, discovering that our room required outdoor entry was an unwelcome surprise and not clearly represented in the listing. The photos are misleading. The room had a noticeable mold smell, a bathroom sink that did not drain properly, and visible water damage with discolored walls. We’ve stayed in worse places, but not many, and certainly not at this price point.

    This was our 2nd time at B Ocean. The staff was extremely kind and professional. The amenities and beach access are amazing. The only thing that I'm disappointed about is that I requested an upgrade after receiving the offer from the hotel. I had selected a marina view room, and asked for an ocean front with balcony thinking that it would be a better choice. The room was not as good as expected. Stains around the toilet, dirty bathroom curtain, scratched furniture. I don't think it was worthy. The food at the pool restaurant was delicious.

    Our room was freezing. We are from Michigan and we could barely handle this room. We were sleeping in long pants and sweatshirts. The thermostat was definitely broken. We told the front desk, and no one seemed to care. They did not offer a different room or to see if repairs were needed. The entirety of our stay in that room was extremely uncomfortable. We came to Florida to escape our harsh winter. We had to ask for extra blankets multiple times before we finally got them.The hotel hallways and the carpet in the room were dirty. Our room was never cleaned, nothing replenished. We felt misled by the website photos. The beach is beautiful but I would never stay here again. Way overpriced for a broken thermostat and freezing room.

    The management of the hotel was terrible. When we first checked in we asked for a travel crib for our baby. They said housekeeping would bring one right away. We called over and over and they either wouldn't answer the phone or said one was coming. We went to the front desk and there was a long line of other people complaining. They called housekeeping in front of us but the travel crib never came. After 4 hours they said they had none left. We were later told that they just don't even have travel cribs at the hotel. If we had been told we wouldn't have spent hours of our vacation trying to get one. We then had to try to go to Target at 8pm after my baby's bedtime to buy a travel crib. They could have just told us the truth. We had other problems, our first room smelled like smoke, they couldn't find our reservation when we first checked in, they never told us when our room was ready and we had to bug the front desk, they wouldn't help us bring our bags up to our room. The hotel did have a nice beach and pool though.

    That was the good above, now for the absolute worst they had a party playing music so loud it was impossible to even watch tv or sleep, we had to change rooms at 10.30, I went down as they wouldn’t answer the reception desk phone, get gown there and two of them are laughing looking at a mobile phone while the phones are ringing, absolutely terrible customer service, we moved room to the building across the road as the party was in the main building, ruined the nights stay and felt terrible the next day, they just don’t care about guests at all. Don’t recommend to anybody with kids. Beach staff were also poor just messing around in the hut, they also don’t care if the guests are enjoying the stay. Never stayed anywhere where all you hear is guests complaining about the place it’s embarrassing. Best part of the stay was getting the car to leave.

    Room decor outdated, windows were dirty. Smelled of fuel odor coming from heating unit. Complained to the front desk several times about this issue, never was resolved. Only one person for available to check guests in and out, which caused us to have to rush to catch the taxi we had called the night before. The breakfast Buffet was very expensive, and the food was not good. I would not choose this Hotel/Resort location for another vacation stay again nor would I recommend it to my friends.

    Room was mediocre. Tiny bathroom. No vanity space at all. No towel hook for hand towel. Inconvenient. Gym is advertised but consists of 5 cardio machines—3 of which are broken. There is one cable machine but the cables were dangerously frayed, impairing movement (broken). A few mismatched free weights are available. Location is nice. Valet is expensive. Don’t bring a car

    This same experience happened to another one of our family members who booked through AIRBNB as well! It’s one thing to make a mistake, but then to poorly resolve the issue or even pretend to have sympathy for our situation. This hotel probably makes millions a year, yet can’t properly accommodate or compensate the issue. I will never stay here again nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at other hotels such as Margaritaville, who go above and beyond to resolve their issues, that it does not even negatively effect your stay. Don’t try and save money staying here you will regret it in the long run or have to sleep in your car with your family because there’s no where else to stay.

    Half the mattress was broken on one bed Mold/water damage all along wall Dirty- someone’s leftover candy on the floor. Def would’ve been caught if room was cleaned Bathroom smelled gross- small/yellow water Called for bath towels 2 days in a row before actually getting them Security must have been lacking. Had to call multiple times. Woman passed out on the floor. Then at 2:30am another woman banged on our door so harshly it woke my son and I and I was legit shaking. Screaming in the next room. I don’t think they even had a restaurant. Best part were the people working in the busy coffee area. They were nice. Also the beach guys.

    all of the above. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Check in took over 3 hours and 5 hours or more for other guests. Waited for room on beach, no beach towels. Our room had 2 bath towels, no racks in bathroom to hang wet towels. The refrigerator did not work, informed front desk, no remedy taken. I expect some type of financial compensation. I will be leaving this review on all travel sites.

    You would think there was a shortage on towels and sheets. Everyday asked for more then 4 towels, always told no more towels. Asked for a cot, not cots: ran out of soap cause they only fill 1/4 the way, never refilled soap. Pools xlose at dark which is literally 5:00 pm. Staff always too busy to help. The air conditioning is either freezing you to death or sweating you to death. 2/3 the charger outlets don’t work, phone don’t work. Honestly place sucks

    First of all. The air conditioner did not work the first night. The outlet on the left side of the bed was not working at all. Second, the shower was not very hot and the water pressure was low. Third. At night the kids run wild in the lobby and because of the tile floors, the sound is unbearable. Friday rate was outrageous for amenities. Rooms were good and beds comfortable. Property was beautiful, beach was excellent but drinks are expensive. Customer Service was excellent!!!

    This has always been my favorite hotel in Ft Lauderdale every year we go a few times but I think I won’t be going again. The towels and bedsheets smelled very bad like old those bath towels were so old and smelled bad they even had stains. The bathroom sink was clogged very disgusting, we couldn’t even make coffee in the morning the coffee machine did not work I don’t ever do a bad review but this time I had to . The valet parking very expensive and also crazy i think they should have free parking for the guest because they charge a high resort fee. I don’t think we will be going to this hotel again.

    You pay a resort fee for water, with no water bottles available from the front desk or did they assist with finding you some. Our room had ants on the night stands and all the counters. Ruined all our food. There was black hair all over our sheets and shower. The carpet was ripped up at the transition of floors. The place was just gross. I brought this to the front desk’s attention at check out and he said sorry, thank you for staying with us. The only plus they did, was allow us to check in early. My family will not be staying here again.

    We stayed 2 nights and was woken up for about 2 hours to a couple fighting next door and pounding on door and I tried to call the desk through the phone and it was not working so I had to go all the way to main building ti tell them to call security and it took another 30 minutes before security came and even after security left the couple was still fighting super loud. Throwing stuff, banging on door, banging on wall. We were unable to sleep all night due to the noise. That was Ridiculous. We weren’t offered anything as compensation for what we had to go through. This ruined our last day in Florida as we were extremely tired the whole day and ended up sleeping to make up for not sleeping at night due to the domestic situation I also told them to call the police because he was hitting the girl and they didn’t. They had no sense of urgency to anyone in this situation. Also bed sheets were all ripped and yellow. Bathroom had broken handle. Awful experience

    Our room with a balcony was so worth it! The view was great! Private beach and full bar service on the beach was the cherry on top. We were in the pool / beach for hours on end. Amazing trip and would absolutely stay again. Even with ongoing construction at the time (they were renovating the pool!) we hardly noticed!

    Good location, nice beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a little run down plus there was no soap in the shower and the TV didn't work. Staff did respond quickly to rectify the situation. The $9.80 charge for my morning latte was a bit off-putting. Resort fee is steep and charged even if you check in late. Probably won't stay there again.

    Very disappointed with the property! Checked in and received the penthouse suite! Excited to spend the weekend on Ft. Lauderdale and celebrate our Christmas party. Woke up on the first morning and found the living room area was over 80 degrees. The thermostat was blinking with an error code. (We checked and it indicated a blocked drain). The bathroom sink was also clogged. Went to spend the day on the beach and informed the front desk of both problems. Returned several hours later and neither had been fixed. Maintenance showed up two hours later to clear the sink, plunging the filthy water right next to our toothbrushes and not even asking us to move them. No one ever showed up to fix the AC. We tried to have some friends to the room but had to leave because it was too hot. The kitchen area was covered with ants. Our coffee cups were crawling with ants in less than ten minutes. There was glitter all over the floor in the bedroom next to the night table and the glass doors in the shower were so out of line, you couldn’t close them for risk of breaking the glass. The living area of the room was so hot, we had to keep the curtains closed the entire weekend, so we didn’t even get to enjoy the view. The TV remote in the bed room didn’t work very well. The front desk offered us a measly $50 credit on a $700 weekend! Be aware there are ridiculous fees, including a $55 dollar a day valet fee!!!!!!! Brunch is $95 per person!     Beyond the obvious health and cleanliness concerns, the experience made it impossible to feel comfortable during my stay. What should have been a relaxing visit turned into an unpleasant and stressful one. I ended up leaving the property and finding another hotel. I expected far higher standards of hygiene and guest care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning unless significant improvements are made.

    We had an Oceanview room. The view of the beach and ocean was pretty from our room. However the room was very small for the 4 of us. I didn't realize when booking it was 2 Double beds not Queen beds. My family of 4 was very squished. I wouldn't book here again with my family. I would look for a hotel with a larger room and larger beds.
