Comfortable bed and in general good for its level. The toilet was leaking water from the bottom when it was flushed.

Pleasant

Room smells of bleach. Windows only open a few inches. Carpet had a huge iron burn mark. Not enough towels for 2 people to shower. Looked like a seedy motel from the approach.
- 3/5
Was close to our even and east to find . Good price . Clean.

Disappointing

This place is in the best location, right next to the bridge and restaurants. It’s also very convenient for our dog, as there’s a beautiful park just across the street. Some of the customers seem to rent the place out for months, but they’re friendly and welcoming.

Plumbing problems
- 3/5
The manager was very helpful. It is an older facility. I did not like seeing small black flying insects co in my room through the evening.
- 4/5
The ac hardly worked and the bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom mirror was dirty
- 4/5
Older motel .. clean.. comfortable beds.. quiet .. front desk staff were pleasant.. price was very competitive!!
- 3/5
The bed was very hatd and uncomfortable. The pillows were more like a couch throw pillow very small
- 5/5
The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly. Check-in was very easy.
- 4/5
It was by Niagara Falls so it was expensive for what you got for your money! It was ok!
- 4/5
But good condition Nothing wow Good to sleep and go
- 4/5
Tout est ok , juste le climatiseur qui est très bruyant.
- 5/5
Great stay. Very clean and well maintained.
- 3/5
Close to everything I needed. Good location, staff were super friendly. Rooms had new flooring but bathrooms were original and the rooms were very dark. Our fridge didn’t work but they were quick to provide us with a new one.
- 5/5
Was a great hotel for an overnight, nothing fancy but very clean and affordable!
- 1/5
The people were nice. That's where the good ended... There was a hair dryer on the wall in the bathroom that was from the 60's, the toilet leaked from the flange and the guy came up and looked at it then giggled and said his manager would look at it the next day. Nothing was done. The stairs were unsafe and the rooms look like they hadn't been updated since it was built. Would never stay there again and would definitely not recommend it!
- 5/5
Everything was conveniently close
- 4/5
It was fine.
- 4/5
Good hotel at a fairly cheap price
- 5/5
Older, very clean. Parts of property are under construction. Great experience
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and comfortable for a one night stay before we crossed the border. Some aspects were very dated but didn’t affect your stay. Very close to the border so super convenient.
- 4/5
If yiu have an early flight, this place is easily accessible and you dont have to contend with traffic.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Friendly owners, clean and comfortable rooms, walking distance to restaurants and stores, and a great view.
- 1/5
The staff was rude, the place is gross.
- 4/5
For the Nexus interview, I checked in one night early, which is the closest to the Nexus office!
- 5/5
Stppped for the night on our way from Cincinnati to Perry Sound Canada. Hotel was just over the border into Canada where we spent the night. Not much to look at on the outside but the room we got had 2 queen beds, nice TV, and clean bathroom/shower.
- 4/5
Clean, good size rooms. 24h front desk coverage. Very good location right next to the border. Second time I have stayed at this motel.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
The hotel wasn’t what we expected. It was a two-story motel style that actually had resident living there, but they were quiet and still a little bit uneasy for my two young nieces who were with us. The managers were very polite and very accommodating. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were larger room because the two teenagers we had the only downfall is there was no pool available so we had to drive to Crystal Beach to go swim.
- 2/5
Obvious attempts to upgrade, but building is old, damp and our room had a funny smell... shower was nice and it was clean... cheap hotel quality for much too high a price
- 3/5
Just an average motel but the location is ideal for someone crossing the border into or from Buffalo. Peace Bridge is a 1 minute drive. Good selection of fast food restaurants within a 5 minute drive including Tim Hortons and Wendys right next door. Nice walk along the warerfront is only a couple minutes away.
- 5/5
The check in was super fast and the room was comfortable for one night :). Exactly what we needed after a long drive
- 5/5
Pretty alright
- 5/5
Responsive staff, strategic location
- 4/5
It was a nice place, very convenient for us.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. The room was clean.
- 5/5
I find it good but expensive for we where there for almost a week. No benefits from it. Not even a half price. To show good faith
- 4/5
Great affordable place to stay. Our fridge wasn't working at first but someone was up within 5 minutes to check out the fridge and ensure it was working. They also brought extra blankets for us. Would stay again.
- 4/5
For the money it was just fine and very close to the border crossing.
- 5/5
Overall good stay, in good price. 👍
- 5/5
Safe. Clean. Convenient. This isn't a modern 5-Star glitzy hotel, but is a solid, get-the-job-done place. I'll be back.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 2/5
The people running the motel are very nice and accommodating. The place itself, however, needs a lot of attention. The room needed a better cleaning. There were many people who sat out on the walkway to the rooms who apparently live there. They smoke and listen to music. They were nice but that says a lot about the motel. I would not return to this property nor do I recommend it.
- 5/5
It was very nice people were great
- 4/5
Safe
- 5/5
The room is simple, large and tidy, with the room amenities and bathroom working as intended. The manager was very friendly and accomodating, even at my request for late checkout due to sudden circumstances, so extending my thanks for their service!
- 2/5
The place needs to be torn down. Filthy, rugs disgusting, afraid to get bed bugs, clientele seedy, lone men hanging out in hall sitting in a chair, lady on a short bath robe sitting and arguing with partner. It is a shame that they use the name of Knights Inn, it is not the same company. NEVER AGAIN.
- 5/5
The folks that served us were very friendly and accommodating
- 5/5
good customer sevice at all!
- 1/5
The place is a tear down ! I wouldn't put a homeless person there its that bad ! Bugs climbing up the walls .windows do not lock, baceboards falling away from walls, no housekeeping. Never will i recommend this dump to anyone!
- 2/5
Manager not friendly. When I asked about breakfast he acted like he didn’t speak English. Only coffee in room for one person.
- 2/5
It is a dump and home to many transients.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Needed repair inside the bathroom. Outside had old beds stacked. Not cleaned.
- 3/5
JUST A BASIC PLACE TO STAY FOR 1 NIGHT NOTHING SPECIAL
- 4/5
Very nice place and peaceful. The staff are very courteous. Good value for the money.
- 1/5
This property provides long term housing for people. A person with serious mental health issues lived in the room beside us. At midnight, he began screaming and cursing, pounding the walls. It was frightening and impossible to sleep. The staff told us "don't worry, he's like that". After 2 hours of this we asked for a new room which we got, but the air conditioner didn't work. We didn't get any sleep. It was actually traumatic. I would never stay here again!!
- 5/5
Beautiful little spot well located and rooms were modern clean and well equipped!
- 3/5
The property is for a one nigh stay as there is no ice for the rooms, there was coffee pods in room with no condiments, no dining on premises, office was for check in and out only with no vending machines for water or other beverages. A very basic place with no amenities. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Our stay was June 27th. Noisy as it was close to the Peace Bridge to USA.
- 4/5
Everything close by
- 4/5
Fine option for a budget.
- 4/5
It was ok for a night
- 4/5
We recomend it.
- 5/5
Convenient.. close to all things
- 4/5
Don't have much comments, was average looking place with a clean room
- 1/5
Very disappointed. My son was bitten 21 bites on his arm, neck and face, and me 3 bites on my arm, 2 bites on my back by bedbugs. Now we are all worried if we carried it home with us and would have to do bedbug home treatment and will get rid of some of our things if it gets worst. We brought our baby with us too, fortunately she’s not bitten by those.
- 5/5
Clean and well maintained older property very pleased
- 5/5
very clean, beds are comfortable, room is spacious, staff is polite, very close to lake, will go again
- 5/5
For the price I paid. I was really happy
- 4/5
The rooms are old but super clean. Bedding was fresh and clean, bathroom was sparkling. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
from the outside it did not look to good but when i got inside the room I was impressed the rooms were very clean & had a pleasant smell in the room . Staff was very friendly
- 4/5
Check in was fast and smooth. Staff was friendly. Just beside Timmies. Close to restaurants, walmart, Canadian tire and the Lake.
- 5/5
It’s beside Tim Hortons.. Staff are friendly. Smooth check in.
- 3/5
The property was clean and a great value for the price. We would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
It was okay but one night. It is run down a little bit.
- 5/5
How clean it was. We read many reviews and everyone mentions that is a bit outdated but clean. and is true. even though we saw that the room had new floors, flat screen TV, i guess they are renovating. Will definitely stay at Knights Inn Fort Erie again.
- 4/5
The location is excellent and they provide a good customer service.
- 2/5
minimal necessities, stated continental breakfast not available, continuous running toilet, clean but everything oh so worn.
- 5/5
Decent Hotel for families on budget . The Front desk people were very friendly.
- 4/5
clean but needs updates to property and rooms. nice and quiet.
- 3/5
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Great location! However, the rooms need to be renovated, they look and feel like the 1970s although clean. Remove carpet and change shower floor - urgent
- 2/5
no space to eat breakfast, should not offer breakfast.
- 5/5
I like the room. Very comfortable beds and clean. Staff is great and welcoming.
- 2/5
clean room but very run down hotel and when you turn the heat on it smelt like a burning musty smell so we had no heat. but the room was very clean and bed very uncomfortable ,staff very freindly.
- 3/5
Property itself was old with spider webs all over the place. Overall, it was okay. We were there for only two nights and spent all day outside coming to the room just to shower and sleep.
- 1/5
After checking in and saw the status of the stairs, and the room. I debated for one hour whether to stay or not. I finally decided to check out and look for a better hote.
- 2/5
We were going to the Niagara area for a few days and the Howard Johnson in Fort Erie was one of the last Hotels left. We decided to stay here rather than drive over 2 hours for a different Hotel. The room was very dated with an old CRT (Tube) TV, a couch from the 80's and other furniture that may be older. The hair dryer was probably from the 70's. The included breakfast was cereal in the small lobby. The bed was okay for comfort so at least we had a spot to sleep. Be careful when you are heading to this Hotel from the Highway as it is easy to turn one road too quick and end up at the Duty Free with no way to turn around so you end up on the wrong side of the border crossing and having to explain that you were not in Buffalo, NY and having to pay a Toll of $5. to enter Canada, there were 3 cars that did the same thing as us at the same time.
- 3/5
Location is good, amenities in room are not good. I found CRT TV inside the room, there is no wardrobe.
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed, hotel a bit old but in reasonable condition.
- 4/5
Breakfast should have more variety. Eg. white & brown bread.
- 1/5
Dump and over priced.
- 1/5
a hole for low-lifers! nobody of any worth would stay here
- 2/5
The only plus I would give this hotel is that my room was clean. The website states continental breakfast included this is a 3x4 table in the 10x10 office with cereal dispensers and some coffee. Not my idea of a continental breakfast. I was to stay there 2 nights left after the first. They have people that live there and allowed to make all the noise they want and whatever hrs they want. People kept me up till 3am. It's just a rundown hotel that looks like they rent by the hr. Would not recommend to anyone.
- 1/5
Dirty place. Only couple of cold bagels offered fkr breakfast. Toaster doesnt even work. Milk ran out. No place to sit for breakfast. Roons are dirty.
- 4/5
The room was freezing cold when we checked in. It took most of the day for it to heat up. The plug by the ironing board was non-functional, as well as another by the desk. We had to use the bathroom to charge our phones. The hotel staff was very friendly, and helpful. I appreciated that they gave us a room on the end, with less noise, as we were in mourning over my Uncle. We were in Fort Erie for his funeral. We will definitely use this business again.
- 4/5
Room was clean staff were plesent a little dated but a very reasonable price easy drive back to the falls and two minutes drive to the peace bridge giving easy access to the states.
- 3/5
service good beds good bathrooms good but needs a facelift all over to earn one more star
- 3/5
Everything would have been great but we ended up next to several room where the guests we’re smoking outside their room.
- 4/5
There is a timhortons open 24*7 right next to it so in my book thats a plus point.
