Nice peaceful location. The staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. Free coffee and water were very good. Breakfast was hot and lots of choices. The bathroom was well stocked lots of fresh, clean towels etc. The bed was very comfortable. There is no restaurant on site . However there are multiple fast food and restaurants within a five minute drive.

Good breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, yogurt, cereal and milk, fruit, muffins, bagels, cream cheese, juice, coffee. It was all good.

Had a great stay. Visited family in Ft Erie with my 3 year old son. Hotel staff were very friendly, and went out of their way to talk to my kid and he really liked them. Room was clean, beds were comfortable.

The staff were great, but the rooms were a bit less than desirable. Noise from the nearby highway as well as from other rooms (loudly closing doors, people talking, etc.) in the hotel easily made their way into the room. In an effort to provide amenities in the room (jetted tub, desk, wardrobe, etc.) the room became crowded. Wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom and was taped back in place in one spot. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were throw-pillow sized.

Perfect for what we needed. Super nice staff. Ideal location for access to the peace bridge to get to Buffalo.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The best part of this stay was the breakfast! So many options and tasted so good. The staff was very friendly too. I travelled with family and we all have young kids and the staff were amazing with them.

Arrived well after dark. Road to motel gave the vibe I was entering a horror movie . (Not an issue Comfort Inn could control) upon arrival the only light in the parking lot was that from the street light on the road near the parking lot. Mentioned it to desk the desk clerk. She didn’t seem to concerned. The carpet to the second floor was filthy. Many spots and traffic pattern. No one there seemed to be concerned about anything. The motel was nothing like the commercials. Soap dispenser was empty. No Kleenex. Door hinge didn’t close. Had too pull it shut. I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. I’d post pictures but I don’t see anywhere to post.

Front desk staff member was awesome !

Upon arrival and check in we were given the keys to our rooms and to our surprise both rooms had not been cleaned and weren’t ready for use. We immediately informed the reception staff and within minutes they gave us 2 new rooms. Great service.

The lady at the front desk was totally amazing. She was very helpful and gave us great tips on what to do in the area. Would definitely visit again and hope to see her there again.

Amazing staff. Allowed early check in and parking for 2 vehicles. Room was freshly cleaned. The air conditioning worked amazing and kept our room comfortable all night. We took advantage of the free breakfast. They were very kind and understanding that we were going to a bills game and therefore allowed for early check in on the spot. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect route to the border and everything!

The hotel is a bit tricky to get to but offers good value for money. The lobby is attractive, and our room was large though somewhat short on lighting. The breakfast offered more options than typical at a budget property.

Our room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was okay, though crowded if you waited to go until 9 am. The location was convenient to visit with friends nearby, shopping and restaurants. Overall we had a pleasant stay at a very reasonable price.

The hotel was clean and good.The problem was no elevator to the floor above, so if you are a senior like us, you are in serious trouble taking your luggage upstairs as we were on the second floor. Also,we checked out and then went for breakfast.After breakfast, my wife asked the clerk where the washroom was and she said there was none downstairs so she had to ask the clerk to give the key for our room so she can use the washroom.

The hotel was in a great location for us, and it being dog friendly it made since. The only issue we had was where the room was located. Major foot traffic which set our dog off hourly. No respect for quiet hours from anyone (even the front desk staff.) if we stay here again we will ask to be away from and foot traffic and the front desk area.

One of my best stays in the whole Niagara region. The location is fantastic. Super close to the Peace bridge but still very quiet. Staff are fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. And the area is great because not too many people ventures south of Niagara Falls so it's still very civilized.

The room did not smell good at all and it was very damp you could feel it on your feet on the carpet also house keeping needs to clean better my 2 year ild kept finding things on the floor under the bed base covers bath tube did not look very clean and could not tell anyone at reception because she was out side smokeing when it was close to check out

Difficult to find property. Our sink was clogged and the shower dripped. There was a decent breakfast and the staff was friendly.

The washer and dryer was not working the whole time we were there and the front desk wasn’t helpful and said do it at our own risk. Also there was a huge centipede in our room. There was also a blackout at night and it was super hot and humid in the room. The AC didn’t seem to work as well. We stayed 3 nights.

I really appreciated the late night staff member who was able to check us in at 12:45am. The entrance to the hotel was yes a bit unorthodox, but nothing Google Maps couldn’t handle. Would stay here again!

All outlets were completely worn out in the room, so it was difficult to charge phones and run a cpap machine.

Well worn hotel. Strange to see an indoor hotel without an elevator. There were blood trails on the bedding and pillows that looked like there might have been bedbugs although I couldn’t see any current activity. A bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling. I had to go back to check-in desk as neither room key worked. The clerk thought I didn’t know how to use a key card. Otherwise a standard low budget hotel with mostly workers as guests. Small crowded breakfast area not worth waiting for.

I was disappointed that the fridge had no freezer and their on- site laundry wasn't available.

Smelly and dirty rooms.whole property was under construction.I think that’s the reason you guys made booking non refundable.I couldn’t believe Expedia did that to us.Because being old customer I was totally shattered.

We travel with our well trained dogs. Paid $180 extra for them to stay with us. One is a certified service dog. At no time were they left alone in the hotel. In the Niagra area, you can take your dogs everywhere with you. After the first day, we arrived back to our room and the bed wasn't even made. When I asked what had happened, I was told the staff reported there were dogs in the room. I corrected that error and was assured the note would be taken off our record. Second day, returned to same problem, now tod there were VICIOUS dogs in the room. At no time were any dogs left in the room with either my husband and myself. They even went to dinner with us. Worst service while traveling with my dogs ever!

This is a very straight forward hotel, no upscale amenities. More importantly, the hotel is clean and well maintained. We liked the beds, in our opinion they are very comfortable. The included breakfast is typical of this type of hotel. It is well attended and executed and was very much appreciated. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. For us the only minor issue was that we were not aware that there is no elevator and we had a member of our party that partially disabled and it was a minor challenge for him to navigate the stairs.

Tricia was absolutely amazing. She helped accommodate my mother with a ground floor room, and her friendly face was a pleasure to see. However, the breakfast was not very good.

This hotel looks dated and needs upgrade. In fact, it was refurnishing the exterior while we were there. Regardless, the overall condition inside, including the room we stayed, was well maintained and kept very clean. Love the front desk, cleaning and service crews, all very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel if you visit Fort Erie.

Hotel having maintenance done. Overheard employee tell another employee about the ants, with a comment of "again". Client service should never assume a customer is the cause of the issue especially if pre existing. This was a first time visit to Canada of friends and to be belittled to assume they caused the ant issue is unacceptable. Fort Erie has very few affordable lodging facilities. However WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMFORT INN TO ANYONE!!

I liked the very comfortable room and the comfortable beds. What I thought was going to affect me are the curtains, but I didn't even feel the light of the spotlight that was on my face.

1) They are not ADA-friendly. The entire facility has only 1 handicapped parking space. There seems to have been a second one at one point, but they painted over it to make it a normal parking space. More parking spots are reserved for choice members than handicapped spots. Isn't there a specific number of ADA-parking spaces they are required to have by law? 2) The breakfast had a great selection, but there was no place to sit. The seating area is too small. They need to expand it. They know the breakfast is popular and they make the section small. Perhaps in the next renovation, they should consider expanding the breakfast area. 3) Housekeeping. In other hotels, housekeeping does not start until the official check-in time. They can also clean rooms that have been checked out before the time. That is fine. But in this hotel, housekeeping starts at 8:30, so they come by. I was walking out of my room to breakfast and was asked if we wanted towels. They handed me the towels and told me to throw the old towels on the floor. I told them I could not receive them because I was going for breakfast. The rest of the group didn't want to leave yet. We had scheduled to leave the room at about 9:30, but now, since housekeeping was there, we were rushed out of our room.

The staff were welcoming. However simple tidy up of cigarette butts/ garbage by the front entrance to patio deteriorated their presentation. Unfortunately I over heard front staff state to another - I am not maintenance staff so am not dealing with this! Sad- perhaps they do need support?

We had a number of issues with our room that had us headed towards ruining our stay. The blackout/privacy curtains were on a broken rod and wouldn’t close. The room had a noxious odor. The pullout sofa was advertised as a queen but was only a double. There were not enough pillows or towels for all of us. The bedding on the sofa pullout was dirty and there were no blankets. The night staff was rude and not helpful; she was more interested in being on her phone and visiting with her friend who was in the lobby. However, in the morning we met the stellar housekeeping staff, and were thrilled with their sincere interest in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Those women were fantastic! Also, the hospitality of the breakfast staff was equally friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and offered a variety of breakfast options. If it wasn’t for these staff members I would give the hotel a failing grade solely based on the attitude of apathy and indifference of the night staff who was irritated and unhelpful when we asked for help to fix our room issues.

booked two night separately as we decided Friday it would be easier. Made a sure when we checked in that we could stay in the same room. Went to the us for a concert and they called and said we had to move rooms. They took out stuff and moved it to another room. Not happy

Breakfast was good. Roads and access to hotel in bad shape. South side entrance door key didn't work. Bathroom tub faucet dripped. Curtains wouldn't close all the way, thus too bright. Staff was friendly and helpful.
