The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the friendly and accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, and convenient location, particularly for visiting Colorado State University. However, a significant number of guests express frustration over unexpected parking fees, issues with room amenities such as broken elevators and empty conditioner bottles, and noise disturbances from nearby rooms and events.

I left a few things behind in my hotel room. Afterward, I couldn’t get the hotel to tell me whether those items had been found—not by phone, not by email, and not through a colleague on site. There was never anyone there who could help me. That’s either incompetence or a lack of concern!!!

Everything was wonderful - except for one thing. In a nine-story hotel, the elevator makes a big difference. The hotel had one elevator only, the other one was out of service for an extended time. Management indicated that it could be months until it was fixed. For that I gave the hotel two stars. Gross inconvenience.

I was looking forward to a restful night but the lobby is so loud that this wasn’t possible. Kids were screeching until close to midnight and there were adults talking loudly well into the night. The building echoes and carries sound everywhere. The doors have large gaps under the doors that carry both noise and sound. So disappointed to have chosen a nicer hotel only to be met with the noise level of a trashy one.

Danielle at the front desk was AMAZING! One elevator was out the whole stay which was a bummer but other than that it was a great stay. Not free parking was a bit insane too but with how close to campus I guess I get it.

Hotel is just okay, dated but kept clean. The open lobby is somewhat strange and has old fake plants hanging off the sides of the walkways. One of the elevators was out of service. Went to the Starbucks in the morning, all the lights were on and looked open, but no barista. I stood around for a few minutes and then left and got coffee somewhere else. I've stayed at much nicer Hiltons.

I did not like how there was not communication to guest that the ENTIRE parking lot would be closed off with caution tape. I left at 4pm came back at 12:30am to what looked like a murder scene.

They accommodated our request for adjoining, connecting rooms without hesitation. Service was great, food was good and hotel was quiet. The only issue is that one of the 2 elevators was out of order and several times I waited 5 or 10 minutes for an empty elevator. Normally, I could take the stairs, but traveling with a disabled child, service dog and all of the equipment needed made stairs impossible. I heard that this elevator has been out of order for months. That seems beneath Hilton to leave 1 elevator in service for a hotel with more than 200 rooms over 9 floors. That's the only issue I have. Other than that, it was a great stay.

A hotel which is in the indeterminate age range. Not new and not yet aged enough to have developed character. It just is. Parking is much worse than my previous stay. They have now contracted an independent company to manage and the QR code and shortcode website are complex and the discount code provided by the hotel staff was so difficult to use that I abandoned the attempt and paid full price for parking. A big step in the wrong direction. The only particular advantage, if you can call it that, is that the property is across the street from the CSU main campus.

This is just not a place I’d ever choose willingly to stay again. I’ve never in my life heard of having to pay for parking at a hotel you’re staying at, but okay. Not the end of the world. One of the elevators was broken and the stairwell looked like it had been used in a serial killer flick- perhaps several. The worst part was the overall smell of the place- it smelled like mildew and despair. The common era has these two fountains that just…must the whole place up. It’s just… a sad, neglected, smelly building.

I went to the new room to drop my bags and wash my face. The knob for hot water was broken and the hot water knob literally fell off! It was just one thing after another. It’s a very attractive but not maintained hotel. I was just really disappointed bc I’ve stayed at other Hiltons over the years and this one just dropped the ball over the course of the weekend. And because it was graduation weekend the prices were practically double. The breakfast buffet was more of the same. Eggs, potatoes, waffles some fruit and a omelette station. Most of it was cold and bland. Didn’t go back the next day. You would have thought to give me future credits someplace since they aren’t going to Comp me.

Good cocktail at the bar. Like the onsite coffee shop. Room and beds were comfortable. Parking. They charge $15 per day for parking. But you can't pay it at the front desk. You must pay for parking with their bar code. So, I had to enter personal information, and enter my credit card information to pay for this fee on my phone. At the end of the stay, the parking charge came with a "service" fee. What service?!! It is a small fee, but I find it incredibly petty. And it made me dislike this hotel as I checked out. Also, they have a big bar code for tips on my hotel desk. I am also not a fan of hotels with tip bar codes in the rooms.

Computer system was down so it took a really long time to check in. Also, it’s an open atrium in the middle of the hotel- there was an event going on and it was loud. However, staff was helpful and it was close to where I needed to be. Parking also became an issue because of the event- I was lucky to get a spot when I returned from dinner. Also, parking was not free.

Our bathroom had pretty significant issue with what appeared to be mold. The only ammenity was a bar of soap and shower cap. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. There was some sort of conference/gala downstairs that was super loud until about 10p. Would not stay here again. There was also something charged to our room (not by us) and it is quite a process to get this rectified. Had to pay extra for parking and there were no parking spots after paying.

I booked the Hilton even though it cost a bit more for proximity and past experience. The staff and cleanliness were up to Hilton standards, the physical plant not so much. The hotel has a large open atrium style and hosts large special events with hundreds of people and amplified music and speaking. This went on until 10:45 PM. The noise makes it into the rooms making it impossible to sleep or relax. The special evens also fill the parking lot making it hard to park for guests, even when they require you to pay for parking. Check for events happening during your stay. Otherwise the hotel is clean, but average.

The staff was very friendly and the room was fine. We had to pay $16 for parking. I have stayed at several Hilton locations where they asked for license and license plate information, so the parking lot could be managed. I've never been asked to pay for parking. Also, the only complimentary coffee that was available was located in the room and the quality of that was less than desirable. When I asked the front desk if there was complimentary coffee somewhere in the lobby, they told me that they don't offer complimentary coffee, but that I could purchase Starbucks coffee to the right side of the entrance. I choose not to never give my money to Starbucks, so I purchased coffee off site.

I booked a double-bed room on the Executive Floor, expecting it to include a sofa and coffee table as shown in the website photos. I specifically chose this room type so we could have some space to relax and not just the bed. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find there was no sofa in the room. A few minutes later, a large piece of the ceiling even fell onto the bed. I immediately called to report the issue. Rami, the gentleman at the Front Desk, was very kind during check-in and assisted us by arranging a room move to the 8th floor. However, when we went downstairs to collect the new room keys, the lady at the Front Desk was extremely rude. I politely asked if we could have a room with the same university and mountain view as our previous one, but she bluntly said we didn’t pay for it. Considering we paid for an Executive Floor room, it was a Sunday with about 20% occupancy, and given the inconvenience we already experienced, the least they could have done was offer a better view as a courtesy. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve had.

We needed an early check in due to our wedding. It took calling everyday for 3 days to get it approved. The beds are comfortable and room was clean. Upon our departure, there were football team busses blocking at least 20 cars from backing out of parking spot. Had to run around finding someone to move buses. Then police cars were blocking our way out. Being charged for 1 car overnight with a confirmed reservation was also very frustrating.

The refrigerator in the room wasn't cooling any drinks we had in there. The showers cleanliness was ok at best. I called the main line for more towels and I spoke with a robot, never received any towels. The hotel is nice, a little out dated but still pretty cool building. Service was some of the worst I have had in a hotel in some years, definitely the worst for a Hilton property.

We stayed at the Hilton in Fort Collins and had a wonderful experience—again! This was our second time staying here, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The beds were super comfortable, the lounge was a great place to relax, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and clean. Pro tip: if you’re planning to have breakfast, it’s cheaper to purchase it through the app than in person. Out of the five different hotels we stayed at on our trip, this one was by far the best. Highly recommend!

The stay was fair. The hotel is outdated, rooms have minor upgrades, and the common areas are average. We stayed in the presidential suite, which was large, but not worth what we paid. The executive lounge has minimal drink and food selections as well. Northern Colorado is a tough market for good hotels, but we’d still try a different Hilton brand next time we’re up there.

The Hilton property was fine but be warned that they outsource their parking to a 3rd party operator. Their rudimentary phone app to reserve/pay did not provide a phone number for help. It’s too bad this Hilton just doesn’t add parking to the room charge instead of using a predatory service. It really cheapens the experience.

This hotel is way overpriced for what you are getting. There are more expensive hotels located in the main downtown area of Fort Collins that are better choices. The hotels may be presented as more expensive by Expedia, but in the end, it’s not true. This hotel, nickel and dimes you for everything. You have to pay for the coffee, you pay to park in the parking lot that they own I might add. They charge you $50 per day for a “dog friendly” room. In the end, my trip was significantly more expensive staying here than it would’ve been if I would have stayed in the better hotels in the main area of the downtown. I could’ve looked past that if the college kid working the front desk hadn’t acted like a pretentious ass with the long, drawn out sigh, when asked explain the extra charge. I won’t ever stay there again.
