The kitchenette area and location. The bathroom was smaller than expected. When switching to shower, water from the tub fixture continued to run water thus the tub having a pool of water while showering.

Hotel was pretty expensive and charged $5 for parking in a regular lot you wouldn’t expect to pay a fee. Room was very outdated. Every kitchen appliance looked dirty and not well kept up. The beds were squeaky and not comfortable. They were all about the equivalent of a sofa bed quality.

The room was clean, staff was friendly, the hotel and property were well kept. I have stayed here before and never had a bad experience. Will continue to chose this location.

The pets. There should be pet rooms and non-pet rooms because some people are allergic to animals.

When I went to take a shower my first day there where towels left behind the door from the last people that stayed in the room. I told the front desk about when I left for the day and asked if they would come and get them and they did not

The room was not really clean.. the bathrooms were terrible, toilets disgusting, old and run down room.. Staff was very friendly..Breakfast was just ok. The little kitchenette was ok. Just needs alot of work to clean it up..and those bathrooms can be cleaned better! I would not even use them until I cleaned the toilets! There was a dirty washcloth left from the previous user.. :( Please do better! Would not stay again!

$5 hidden fee for parking in a routine hotel parking lot. Nothing unusual about lot-typical seen for hotel off I95. Money grab on unsuspecting customers. Food here at breakfast is decent but had to go three times to find a bagel. Not many choices. Turkey sausage not very tasty. I am disappointed in Marriott branded hotel.

The breakfast I had no TV for the whole weekend and when it was brought to the attention of management, I was told that management would have maintenance come to my room on Saturday to replace the television. No one ever showed up for a replacement and no one ever checked to see if maintenance came. That was a long weekend.

One of several Marriott hotels conveniently located off Rt 95. Close to restaurant choices and gas too.

The breakfast was fresh and replaced even towards the end of the time. It was clean and spacious as well. Always would like 4 sets of towels in the room. 2 people 4 bath towels. I always have to ask for the 4th towel.

The overall appearance of the property is ok. However you can tell there are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Such as painting, replacement of furniture and fixtures. The wear and tear is definitely showing on the furniture, cabinets, tub, caulking and other areas. The auto screen darking is a big issue and very frustrating when you wear glasses and can barely see. There isn’t an option to adjust that on the TV. I greatly disapprove of this feature.

The water was shut off, could not shower or use the restroom. No compensation was offered.

That’s unacceptable. It’s ridiculous and an insult. There are a dozen other hotels in the area. This is not a big city by any means and is a greedy offense.

The hotel was great; staff was courteous. Maybe this was just a one off but our room didn’t have sheets available for the sofa bed so I had to come to the lobby to get them. The shampoo and body wash bottles were empty (and since they are secured to the wall, could not even put some water on them and shake them) - not a big deal but hopefully a tiny detail they can improve on

I asked front desk to move me she was insisting no one smokes in rooms but I told her she can go check buy she decided to change my room, next room it was kinda dirty dust and the air wasn't cooling down the temp in the room stayed 73 degrees and feels like hard to breath .. wasn't gonna move again and its late and just deal with it for one night was tired from my drive from Maryland

I was so happy to see the different than usual breakfast options. The grits and quiche were great! They even offered breakfast sandwiches.

We know that you can’t guarantee adjoining rooms, but it’s very disappointing that when you mention to the staff that you are traveling with young children and they can’t find a way to even accommodate rooms on the same floor. Also, felt like we were being nickled and dimed when we were told there was a five dollar fee per car to park.

The property was very clean and organized I am an early riser and the coffee pot in the room wasn’t working. Went downstairs around 530a.m., while there was coffee and sugar. There was no creamer or at least none that I could find. Other than that one item,the stay was great

Only things that weren’t excellent were the towels were fairly rough and bedspread felt short for bed, didn’t come up to chin even. Otherwise was an excellent stay and would stay again. Check in Hannah was great!

Very close to attractions and stores but not in the middle of traffic. The light in our closet kept going on and off and we had to get maintenance to come in and completely uninstall it. The nightshift receptionist was very helpful and told us they would contact booking for a refund. Then the dayshift receptionist wasn’t as helpful and dismissive of all of our problems. It was a nice hotel but just too many things went wrong.

This hotel is quiet inside and out, set well off the road so there is no traffic noise. My anxious dog was actually able to relax here, unlike her other hotel experience. Some of the pet relief areas are even away from the parking lot, so a little more private. Very comfortable room with a full fridge/freezer plus a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was easy on and off I 95 south. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and the room was nice size. Breakfast was ready before 7 which is what we like as we are eager to get back in the road The tv was to the right of the bed. I had to twist my neck to see. I have vertigo so sitting that way was not working for me.

Location Our room was dirty! Carpet disgusting. Mattress was concave. Light bulbs missing all over the room. All cupboard handles were sticky and dirty. Had a lot of trouble staying just one night. Never again. Don't understand how this was rated a "9".

I had been driving for 10 hours. I had made a reservation 2 nights prior, paid for it and when I arrived at 11pm, they had given my room away. The staff person there had just come in and could not be bothered when I asked if she could help me find another room. everything

i like that it was secluded. away from things but not far from places to eat and shop. i liked that the property was clean and had great staff. they accommodated every need.

Was told reward point would be granted due to room not being available as booked. But a walk up was given the same exact room as I stood there. Due to I was attending a funeral I explained I would return in 4 hours. Room was excellent but haven't seen my points. IJS

I couldn't check in at 4 do to they had no clean sheets and no room ready. When i was able to check in, the shower had hair in it. The curtains in the bedroom had mold on it. It smells as if someone had been smoking in the room. The pool was dirty. It was not the best stay for my family and I.

Friendly & efficient check in, spacious & comfortable room. There are lots of chain restaurants very nearby but we drove a few miles to Tubbs Fish and Seafood and enjoyed that.

Let’s start with the positives- it’s a great location right off the exit of I-95. Front desk staff was amazing, and super sweet as we checked in at 2 am, she gave us a late check out for free. We booked a two bedroom, has a wonderful amount of space and is reasonably clean. However, you can tell this hotel was in poor condition and received a lipstick job renovation. Second bedroom door wouldn’t shut as it was cracked at the top, dishwasher had dings and marks, both bathtubs need re-caulked badly, tred marks along base of walls, wiggly outlets, sticky surfaces etc. Really expected more for a Marriot. It’s saving grace is the staff, and location. Would I stay here again? No, there are at least 5 other hotels right in a row prior to this one.

Good property for a quick pass through point.

We stayed here in June 2025, one night on our way down to FL. We checked in very late and immediately settled into bed. Shortly after, as everyone was dozing, I felt something tickle my arm. The room was dark, so I couldn't see, but I assumed it was a hair of mine and went to brush it off, but realized it was a bug. I immediately jumped to the other side of the bed, waking my husband who turned on the light, and there crawling in bed was a roach. He got up to investigate and found one more crawling on the floor of the kitchen area. It was very late so we did our best to sleep and quietly notified the staff at check out in the morning. They were very nice about it and apologized to us. We didn't ask them to do anything about it, but the front desk staff told us they'd reach out to Expedia to tell them to refund us. Fast forward to the middle of July and we hadn't heard anything. We called Expedia but it seems the hotel is ghosting them. Expedia has been reaching out to us every few days to let us know they've been trying to reach the hotel for info, with no luck. Suffice it to say we won't be staying there again and wouldn't recommend anyone else does.

I stayed 2 nights..room service never flipped my room .only had towels gor 2 but had 4 guests booked…no one answered the desk call for 40 minutes…broken garbage disposal..numerous lights out..shelf in closet had previously fallen and was not fixed !!! I stay at Marriot hotels all the time this was a 3/10 experience AT BEST …ofc i wont get money off or ANYTHING for my inconvenience!!! Priced WAAYYY to high to put up with this crap!! DO BETTER!!! I will NEVER brong my family here again.

The trip was a stop over on the way further south.The hotel was probably the best full functional hotel suite we havé stayed in since we have been going down south .

My trip was ruined by a chirping smoke detector in my room. I contacted the hotel front desk and was told that maintenance was gone for the day so I just had to deal with it. The following morning I went to the front desk and after waiting nearly 15 minutes, Kendra B unpleasantly came out and made me feel like I was bothering her with my checkout. I will NEVER stay at that hotel again.

The floors in the kitchen area and bathroom were very dirty. While taking things out of the cooler some water was dripped on the floor. I took a rag to wipe if off and as you can see what is on that. We had just walked into this room. The next day taking a shower you can see on the bath mat, which was damp from my husbands shower, I stepped on it and that was on my feet. Other than that the room was good.

Excellent property and customer service. My family and I had no issues. Rooms, bathroom, hallway, hotels itself were clean. Will stay again!

Our room was clean and excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is very close and convenient to shopping centers, groceries, etc. The breakfast was amazing and there are laundry facilities.I will definitely stay here again!

The room was fine but not above average. It only had one towel and a towel left from prior guests. The AC unit control panel was missing leaving wires exposed and making it Impossible to regulate the AC running when it was 30 degrees out.

Our 3 night stay at this hotel was amazing. Very clean hotel and some of the best and most friendliest staff we have come across in a hotel.

The kitchen & room in general was very nice I selected this hotel because they don’t charge for parking & it was close to great restaurants. Breakfast was fair cold eggs & hard sausage. Grits great! Quiet on 4th floor.

The staff was amazing and the ease of checking in was stress free. The room was bigger than expected and we all were comfortable. We will be enjoying this hotel in the future!

Exactly what we need on a road trip with a pet

I booked because it was a little over half a mile to the Florence Center. I was there for a concert. I was disappointed that I couldn’t walk to the event. No sidewalks or lighting. The event did have free parking so it all worked but I could have booked a hotel directly across from or next to the event. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

This place needs TLC. The cabinets were falling apart, the focets didn't work well, the water in one of the bathrooms was tan, the super was missing in the tub, the walls were cracked, the furniture was stained.... etc. The staff were very friendly. But this place needs a makeover

Unfortunately the molding in the room had staples in it instead of properly putting it back on the wall with adhesive. There was a wire hanging out of the bottom of the high vac unit, I think if it was just adults it wouldn't have been that big of a deal but we had little children with us

Florence has been a staple overnight stay for my family and me over recent years. This is my first time at this property and it was good. Comfortable, friendly, room had an odd smell but I let the front desk know. Free breakfast was a huge plus.

It was a great experience. Quiet, close to the Civic Center. Courteous staff. Room was clean . Loved the kitchenette and housewares that were available.

When I booked, I didn't realize this was a pet friendly hotel. I wish there would have been better notification of this. The worst part was the lobby and our room smelled like DOG! I called the front desk about the odor, and our room phone didn't work. I walked to the lobby and asked the receptionist if they had any non-pet friendly rooms, and she said no. I told her our room smelled like dog. She said sorry you shouldn't have to experience that, but she did nothing about it. She also knew our room phone didn't work but did nothing about that. She was pleasant and said she would tell the manager about the dog odor, but we never received any feedback about it. She did give me some extra points for future possible use. The lobby and our room still smelled like dog in the morning. I will not be staying anyplace like this again. Walking into the lobby reminded me of walking into my previous pet's veterinary office.

Evidently, housekeeping is only for when you leave, though. We stayed 3 nights, and had to go down to the front desk to get towels each day, despite having requested them be dropped by the room. Submitting a housekeeping request the night before... as stated needed to happen... doesn't work either. I guess that's "the new normal" in the industry.

We wouldn’t know! We got contacted saying that the room we booked with pull out sofa and 2 queen beds was under maintenance and they transferred us to Fairfield - their sister one! I was told they’d charge me rate I booked at, they didn’t! I had to fight them. No sofa bed! Had to use cot. Wanted to use pool - under maintenance! TERRIBLE!!!! I’m so upset!!!!!

Unfortunately, the since covid/pandemic, the workforce (everywhere) has not recovered. The receptionist did a great job keeping a calm demeanor even though she had several guests waiting in line and calling the front desk. Several patrons were not very friendly to her and she still kept a smile on her face. The residents I speak of, were not the usual business or one night stay type guests. It seemed like they were long term residents. I was really disappointed bc the overall rating was so high, I actually passed on a place I stayed for 2 years to ensure the higher quality.

Overall the stay was ok. Some of the staff are friendly than others and truly care about the customers overall experience. I just wanted the quality of the stay to be worth the quantity of the money I spent

Property is very old and in dire need of updating. There was a cigarette hole in one of our couch cushions and some of the lighting and outlets did not even work. Lobby was very small and often crowded as it seemed people were living at the hotel.

People appear to be living in this hotel.

The staff were very friendly! The room was very spacious. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel that offered complimentary.

Comfortable beds

Having a kitchen, including stove top, helped us to save money. But there were a variety of restaurant options nearby if you want that. Room was smaller than expected but functional. It would have been helpful to have a mirror outside the bathroom. Loved the kitchen but plates, pots, and utensils were not clean and we had to rewash them. Free breakfast was ok, but not great.

The area was nice and the front desk was friendly but the room itself was dingy. Choosing the Marriott brand should insure a pleasant clean stay but this hotel needs updating badly. Floor tiles were coming up in bathroom, a small dark tv, a stained couch and a sticky floor in the kitchen area. Thankfully the bedding was clean and comfortable.

Check in was a little slow, young attendant was very nice, bathroom was dirty and mold on floor and Tub. Unsatisfactory.

The staff was very nice, however the room was outdated and had a smell. Even after doing my own cleaning and disinfecting coming back into the room it still had a a smell. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and made us itch a lot. The air stopped working Saturday night. We got up at 6 Sunday to check out because we couldn’t sleep. We have family out in the area and always stay in Florence. This was the first hotel we was unhappy with.

Clean convenient and affordable

Perfect for our needs. Room was large and the kitchenette allowed us to eat most of our meals in the suite. The pool was great.

Room was not stocked but the size and cleanliness was good. Breakfast half done. But staff was awesome and accommodating.

Room could have used a better cleaning job. I would not stay here again.

Overall, the stay was good, and the staff was polite. The pullout out bed was unusable. We did report that to the front desk, and they did supply us with portable murphy bed.

It was great, except the power outlets don’t hold the plugs securely in the bedrooms. They need to change the outlets.

We did not enjoy our stay. The ppl that stayed in the room beside us made so much noise. My kids and I couldn’t get any sleep. The stay was terrible, but the facility was clean.

This is a quiet, out-of-the-way property that’s pet friendly, while well-kept regarding pet walk areas. Staff is friendly and helpful, and rooms are well laid out and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful when I was struggling with opening my hotel door (keycard wouldn’t work for some odd reason). Everything was so nice and wonderful, really made my first trip to the south great!

I only stayed for one night. It was pleasant for my family, including my cats.

The guest with animals don't have control of the animals they bring here.The animals bark all night long.Its awful to other customers.

Overall it was a quiet enough stay. I prepaid for the room and then the hotel charged my card they had for the pet fee for the room again. Double charging isn't a way to keep customers. I have children/grandchildren in the area and I simply want a hotel that is clean, safe, and doesn't try to take all your money. This hotel doesn't hit the mark on the last option.

We requested in the front desk for the room to be cleaned. To my surprise, the room was not cleaned. I stayed for three days and the room was not cleaned. I stayed in Room 211. (11/15 - 11/18)
