Honesty review!! The room was real clean!! I would’ve preferred more towels and face cloths but that wasn’t a huge turn off!! The parking is extremely tight!! It didn’t get cool in the room until 1AM but it’s South Carolina the heat might be different!! For the price I most definitely would stay again!!

The room was very clean, staff was very pleasant, parking was very convenient, and the air conditioning worked very well. The only thing that was troubling is that you had to ask for a coffee machine for the room, along with the coffee, sugar, and creamers. I remember, in the past, there was always one in the room. I guess you must be having problems with theft.

Definitely an upgrade from the old Super8's. Good quality fir the very affordable price. Next night we stayed at a Fairliend Inn at twice the price and we're disappointed.

Staff in the office were wonderful! My GPS screwed up directions off of 95. I had to ask a different motel for correct directions. Took me about 45 minutes riding around trying to find where they were located.

The property was clean. There 2 abandoned hotels on both sides of this hotel with lots of suspicious activities around. My granddaughter and great granddaughter was visiting while I was here and the front desk clerk had a nasty attitude. They weren’t staying.

I wasn’t able to even stay at the hotel. The receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. I paid online in advance only to be told that I have to pay an additional 100 dollars that wasn’t even advertised on the site

Travelled extensively for 40 years, domestically and internationally; this is the second worst hotel I ever stayed in. Starts with check-in via kiosk with on-screen avatar; no humans in sight; room key issued like getting money from an ATM. Discovered hair dryer cord was cut in two and curtain was broken and would not close to block outside light. Went to front desk and had to go through kiosk's avatar to request a human being to help me. Eventually someone came out from back room and replaced the hair drier but told me maintenance was gone for the day, so had to sleep with lights shining in my face. Only chair in room was plastic desk chair. When I had trouble moving it around, discovered they used throw rug to cover a hole in floor from missing flooring and the chair leg was dropping into the hole. Bath tub was chipped and shower head arm was loose. No soap for bathroom; only shampoo and conditioner pump bottles mounted on wall. Hot water temp too high and capable of scalding. Sleeping on floor more comfortable than the worn out sagging mattress. Blood stains on pillow case. No hot breakfast. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP and Ramada, who used to have a good reputation should be appalled.

Needed a place for the night on way to Florida. Male traveling alone. It was cheap, clean, AC worked well and shower had good water preadure.if this is all that matters, then this place is perfect.

The hotel was in a bad area with homeless and drug people. The front desk person was rude and rude to other guests because they didn’t speak English. There was a lot of garbage on the grounds and you can tell that they are not keeping up on the rooms. We will not stay there again.

Location is terrible…bad neighborhood…stained floor …bathroom door hard to close and not locking properly…refrigerator freezer frozen up…was not told about $100 additional deposit until I was checking in and then I had to say over and over that I wanted proof that I had given the receptionist the $100 cash because she insisted that she didn’t have a receipt to give me but finally wrote $100 on my paperwork…I have a reservation for returning back home from vacation and I am canceling it and staying somewhere else…never again

The furniture is very old, the room reeks of smoke, and there is hair everywhere. The breakfast was terrible—or rather, there was almost no breakfast at all: just cereal with milk, a stale muffin, and a cup of yogurt. The coffee was completely undrinkable. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

Nice place to stay in Florence to go to Myrtle Beach. Basic accommodation with limited breakfast but clean place to stay. Area around is not the best but it’s near fast food and dining options. Room was clean and satisfactory.

Since I have to give a star rating I’ll just a “real” one star location would have been an upgrade. Dirty property, the bedspread had rips and tears and there was a strange “white stain”. The towels are the originals from 1982 it looked like.

The rude lady at the counter would not allow me to stay, because I lived in town. I explained that I had an emergency situation. She then told me the policy was $100 cash. When I said ok... she then said I could not stay. I understand their skepticism because that area is well known fir prostitution and drug related activity. Howver, I was dressed professionally because I had just cone from work.. as a county employee. I respect policy but there is no need for nasty behavior. I would have never, ever even considered staying in such a run down place if it wasn't a dire need. But Ivwent further down the street to the LaQuinta and it's more of what I'm used to. More money of course but wotth it. Very clean, better lication, wonderful staff... DO NOT GO TO THE SUPER 8.

This hotel is not in a safe location. I was glad to not be alone. Many seemingly homeless persons in the area. The gas station next door does not sell coffee. The hotel was clean, including the carpet. We did not partake in breakfast.

Buyer beware. Consider other properties in the vicinity. The door had daylight of at least an 1/8 to 1/4" and all kind of bugs came in.

Nothing Stains in the floor bad smell poor breakfast I was charged twice for the room. Booking charged me and the hotel did too. The fee price for the dogs is shocking I will never stay there again

Suite with 2 queens and 2 sofa beds was great for a family with three kids. Room was clean and spacious. Sketchy location, did not feel very safe outside alone.

Comfortable room Worst breakfast selection I have ever seen at any of the super 8 franchises I’ve stayed at in 30 years! They might save money but they will lose return guests, including me! The photo shows a toaster and waffle maker but the only choices were cold cereal, yogurt, juice, apples, muffins and the weakest coffee I’ve ever had.

Didn’t get to check out the property it was raining when we checked in Bugs in the room, the staff when we checked in were nice. The staff when we checked was rude! Arguing with me, we booked a non smoking room and there was definitely a smoke smell in the room. And apparently breakfast can start as late as 7, sometimes they come in and open it at 6 and sometimes it not til 7. The reason I book this room was that breakfast was included.

1.) A red fire ant bit me on the lower leg overnight under the sheet. 2.) There was a spider in the corner above the sink and 3.) a cockroach ran across the sink just before I brushed my teeth. So might I suggest better critter control is needed!

Initially, there was no remote for the TV, but they managed to get me one. Also, I was very disappointed that there was no coffeemaker in the room. Every hotel that I have stayed at in the last two years has had a coffeemaker in the room.

I’ll be perfectly honest, this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed!!!! The rooms were just nasty, outside used needles were littered on top of the green transformer on the side we stayed (room 222) the swimming pool was filthy and green, bed linens were dingy and comforters had burn marks on them, vanity top had burn marks on it… all around just nasty and gross !!People kept beating on the walls and screaming all night!! And that’s not including the idiots who weren’t even staying at the hotel roaming the parking lot!!! The manager is just a mean and rude person!!! NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE

We went on a 9 day road trip and stayed at 9 different hotels. This one was by far the absolute worst. The woman at the front desk was VERY rude. The hotel doesn’t look like their pictures. The free breakfast is a bowl of stale cereal or a granola bar. (If you decide to stay, pick the granola bar) this hotel is a step above camping only because the AC worked well. While the cost was cheap around $90 for the night, the bathrooms at a camp ground would’ve been cleaner. Do NOT try to use the pool or the staff will treat you poorly. Speaking of the pool it is need of repairs and I wish I would've Taken a picture. We would’ve left but I booked The non Refundable option. Use my mistake as your own lesson. Don’t book here or select the refundable option. Once you see the state of the room, you will want a refund.

We do not recommend this hotel, dirty, poor condition, no towels, and they control your AC in your room, you cannot put the fan on or adjust the AC or have a fan run all night, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in a very long time. The owners do not understand the US Citizen born standard, very 3rd world conditions here, a real disappointment. Everything is poor here, very poor.

The young man that checked us in was very honest and informative. He was polite and understanding of my frustration with the hotel I booked which led me to booking with the Super 8. Our room was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend this stay to anyone for a quick place to lay your head for the night or even a weekend stay! Very affordable!

The hotel is under new management as of 7/24 or so, and they have done a beautiful job with the room and lobby. The price was very affordable. The staff were all very kind, courteous, and helpful. At no fault of the hotel, the area is a little sketchy.

The whole town is a bit rought but the hotel served its purpose. Good price, clean room and had a good night sleep. What else can you ask for under $75

When upon arrival.. multiple unsavory people yelling and screaming at each other area hotel is located surrounded by other properties that are not well maintained. Didn't even stay or talk to staff . Never would have booked it was able to see condition and type of folk staying at this location

I didn’t know that food from fast food restaurants and my clothes was “too much luggage” in the room. Never heard of a hotel having a “luggage limit”. Whereas fellow people had band equipment in their room. I don’t recommend. Then proceeded to say “we’re not an extended stay hotel”. Y’all can barely keep rooms filled. And the rooms you was filling had prostitution going on.

No coffee or food was available at 8:15am and the front desk clerk had no intention of addressing it. We will look for other hotel options in the future.

None of our lights worked. Our remote didn’t work for the tv so I swapped one at the front desk they still didn’t work. I called the office and the manager on duty told me she didn’t know how they worked. Breakfast stopped promptly at 9 am but we checked in late. Bathroom was dirty, bathroom door won’t close. Just terrible

What I will say is the property appeared to be in a location a bit unsafe, but it ended up being quiet and the room comfortable. The morning breakfast however was the most limited I have ever had at a hotel.

I paid extra for a late check out and the day of I was told I had to leave they don’t offer late check out, I ended up standing outside until my ride came to get me.

It wasn't OK quick overnight stay I did like that. They were pet friendly at an affordable rate. Everything was clean overall… The toilet was not mounted to the floor though every time he sat down you felt like you were going to fall off lol and was going to have a coffee and quick breakfast before we got back on the road, but there was nothing out but coffee and cereal and one yogurt was all there was in the small fridge.. there were a few tables of people eating muffins, etc. but when I asked if they had anything else she said they were bringing more muffins out soon.. again overall it's fine for a quick overnight. Stay on a road trip.

I would’ve given it a much higher rating and my stay was great until I found a bunch of roaches in the bathroom. Two large ones and a bunch of babies.

I like that the parking spot is right outside our room.

The hotel is pet friendly but there are very few places to potty dogs so you do have to walk a bit. There was also a spider in the bathroom but he was in the upper corner so I left him alone. The hotel seemed pretty clean otherwise. And for the price, it wasn’t bad. I’d stay here again.

Rundown room. Bathtub faucet was broken. Batteries on the door were dead so you couldn’t get into the room took about two hours for maintenance to fix the issue. They kept my ID because they insist on making a copy of it, now I cannot board my flight.

Price/ value was excellent. Front counter staff was friendly and inviting. Had to tear myself away so I could get some sleep.

It’s 10 pm I’ve been here for an hour.. the toilet doesn’t flush well , it smells like cigs (got the smoking room but he said I couldn’t smoke cig’s and it still smelled like cigs?…) it should clarify online. Also I touched a button on the AC and it fell apart…easily put the cover back on but like….still dude cmon….

The quality was poor, I got put in a room with roaches and had to pay more money than my original price when arriving.

The property was clean, secure, and had everything one would want in a stay of a day or longer. I was thoroughly satisfied

Checkin late night was quick and easy, but the room smelled strongly like a public restroom, burn holes in the blankets.

Not clean and had cockroaches in bed. Had to leave due to crawling on us.

Our room was comfortable and mostly clean. The shower looked like it had just been used, as it was wet, and there was soap residue in the tub. In addition, toilet paper was floating in the commode. The bathroom door was peeling and had obvious signs of needing to be replaced, as some of the wood was moist and falling apart. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Convenient location. Right off of 95. The property is dated. Bed sheets were yellowish. Roaches came out at night.

VERY disappointed in our room, especially since we booked for 7 nights. Complaints: small tv screen located in awkward place; toilet “ran” constantly and slow to flush; no sheer on window so room was dark all day; horrible mattress (broken down on one side); sofa so low it was very hard to rise from; no coffee pot; no cold water from faucet; door lock broken part of the time; stains in bathtub; permanent stains and hole in the wall of toilet area. Have stayed in Super 8s that were very clean and comfortable so it was extremely disappointing to have to spend a week in such a nasty room.

Needs a fine tuning, but what hotel doesn’t need improvements?

Booked a 4 night stay. Upon arrival immediately realized this hotel choice was a big mistake. Area was not appealing to travelers at all ! Spent first night there, second day found cockroaches in the bath. Went to office for immediate check out and refund. 5 days later still no refund
