This was my first time at this hotel, and I was disappointed. The room was clean except the air conditioner air filter was filthy. It took me 10 mins to clean it. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows need to be replaced. Breakfast was a disaster. 8:30 AM, no coffee, no eggs, and a frozen breakfast sandwich that wasn't frozen, for God knows how long. The good news is there is an I-hop right down the street. Go elsewhere!

We had a handicapped accessible room, which - surprisingly - is probably the furthest room from the lobby, where breakfast is served.

The outside of the hotel looks a bit rundown, but the rooms are always immaculate. Nice, big screen TV, updated bathroom with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Excellent free breakfast and a friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of area restaurants and half the price of a Hampton Inn. A great value and perfect for our one night stay over.

Check-in was great when we got to the room the room smelled like molded carpet. There was bottle caps on the floor behind the chair. There were something on the floor that my dog picked up at eight. There was cobwebs on the light and on the wall we went to walk the dog there was no courtesy dog bags luckily we had our own and you had to watch your walk because without having bags people were just letting their dog go anywhere they want

For the years I have stayed in many Quality properties and am amazed that the registration process still does not flag registrants as a Choice rewards member. I have never been asked if I was a menber so if you don't tell them you don't get credit for the stay. I can see if you don't ask and I don't tell the company saves. I think you could get a 5th grader to make the code changes to make it all transparent.

My only issue was there was one customer in the breakfast area but it was a 10 minute wait for coffee. It was hard to get an answer from the worker as to when there would be some. I left without any.

The room was fine for 1 night stay. The room we had stayed at smell. It had a weird odor like someone smoked pot prior to our stay. Breakfast was ok. Not many options.

The rooms were clean and the housekeep staff were very helpful throughout the stay! As for the front desk employees, they were constantly rude and dismissive when asking for help.

I walked into the lobby to book at noon on friday and was greated by the angriest desk clerk i had ever seen so i went back to my car and booked online. When i got to my room late at noght, it smelled so bad i requested to be moved. They had no other rooms so the night desk clerk (who was very nice) stated that she would have a refund issued.

Easy check in & out. Staff friendly and professional. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. AC kept room comfortable. We didn’t want breakfast, but we picked up couple bananas for later. Breakfast choices smelled and looked yummy. If we need to stay in Florence again, we definitely will return.

Parking was simple. Room was up to date. It felt clean, although there was something brown on the wall. I cleaned it. All I really ask for is a clean bed and a fan that stays on constant. I would stay again. Cleaning staff was friendly.

Bathroom brand new Asked for a Non smoking room which it was but the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming along with the old musty smell from the rug. The refrigerator smelled like vomit as well and was unusable. The bed was new however the mattress pad was stained on one side which was disgusting. If youre going to update the room rip up the rugs and make sure all bedding is clean. I paid less at a hotel on my way home that was updated and spotless!

Eventually the staff member returned and said the manager had asked her to get a head start on laundry. She was apologetic, but being gone from the front desk with no call forwarding and without returning to check seems like bad practice, and the manager never answered the emergency line. Something is not right here.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect since it’s not our usual place to stay, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything in the room was nicely updated.

The sweet lady checking us in was personable, professional and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean and close to great restaurants and a mall. Overall a very good stay!

I despise doors to the outside and the deadbolt type lock was not very secure. The door had light from outside shining through which means bugs can get in and could probably break in easily.

First level should have been an option as I am elderly and was put on second floor and do not do stairs very well. They never asked. Very disappointed. No elevator available.

The night clerk who checked me was very polite and energetic. Other hotel staff wasn’t as friendly. I felt as though I was being bothersome, especially when I asked about an hour or two extension. Housekeeping was very loud and kept repeating herself over and over where it woke me up and I couldn’t go back to sleep.

I was there only overnight, but the property is within walking distance of several restaurants and other attractions, but was near the end of a road so was quiet and somewhat secluded.

Room was very clean. But the standout was the woman on duty when we arrived at night. I had not realized the hotel was 2 stories with no elevator. Our 2 rooms were on the second floor, and since we have a lot we don’t want to leave in the car overnight, that meant climbing stairs several times—a bit of trouble for us in our mid-70s. The front desk person was very nice and tried hard to find 2 rooms on the first floor when the place was almost booked up. In the end, although we stuck to the original booking anyway, we appreciated very patient she was in trying to accommodate us.

The room was modern and very clean. The area felt safe. There were plenty of stores and restaurants in walking distance as the hotel is located within a large shopping area. But, the absolute best part of the stay was the woman at the front desk that checked me in. She was very nice, efficient and accommodating. She's everything customer service used to be. She was a nice ending to a very long driving day. This will now be my usual stop on my way south.

The receptionist was so sweet. We weren’t from in town we were from California and she helped us find some good local spots to eat and hang out. The hotel was actually being renovated, which was a major plus it was very nice very clean. Everyone was very attentive from the maintenance staff to the housekeeping, even the people that were working on the renovations

The room was not spotless. There were no plastic bags in the garbage cans. It was just an OK room. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, but it was doable.

Our was a good size the beds were very comfortable was recently redecorated and the bathroom was brand new. Parking was a little tight as they are currently renovating some of the rooms construction vehicles took up space. Breakfast was fine. We are Northerners so the sausage and biscuit gravy was not in our wheelhouse but there were other choices for us. It's an outside entrance to the room. We were on the first floor where they put people with pets as we were traveling with our dog. That tends to be a little noisier as we hear people coming and go. Overall good stay.

The room could have been cleaner like the bathroom sink, bathroom floor, tub & toilet. There were no bags in the trash cans. I didn't have to do a deep clean but you shouldnt still see dirt in these areas when you check in. The bed was clean & comfortable.

I had to wake the front desk person up at 6:10 so they could start setting up the breakfast foods.(apparently that person also sets up the breakfast) She was in a corner sleeping in a chair. I wanted to eat and leave early but that didn't get to happen. It was a continental breakfast which had biscuits and gravy( which was cold). No waffle mix to make waffles. Coffee was weak.

They were under construction and I asked to be moved to a quiet area because I work nights. The manager was very rude and the room that was given to me was one room away from where the work was happening. I was only staying for two nights and I was happy to get out. If I was staying longer i would look for another hotel. I will NEVER recommend or stay in that hotel again.

Area around the hotel is not the greatest, the hotel overall is extremely dated however they were renovating several rooms,the gym was an absolute joke with only 3 machines which were from 1980!! Hotel guests were loud and did not see any security. The room itself was not the worst but wasn’t the best or the tv but not the worst for one night, the bathroom was old and dirty tub had brown spots and we waited until our next stop to shower,overall I wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be back.

The room was very clean upon entering, but had a very musky smell. Almost like pee or something? Or, it could have been old smoke. I'm just not sure, but it was definitely not pleasant and I had to spray in the room. I have stayed here in the past and never smelled a smell like this before, so I'm hoping this will be addressed.

Breakfast was not good. We were there today 06/26/2025 @ 6;30 am. to 6:50 am and no one was at the front desk or in the breakfast area. Not sure where everyone was.

There were gummie bears on the floor, the bathroom was dirty and moldy, the vents were dirty, and there were people smoking marijuana outside our door. When I called the front desk, they later knocked on my door and said "room 204, we told them to move". Gee, thank you for announcing which room complained about the pot smoking. I grabbed my kids and wife and left after checking in 2 hours before.

The lock to the room was defective and not even the staff could get i to the room. The other room offered was dirty and had no air conditioning. They would not even help to check with other hotels in the area to see if there were any rooms available. We had been driving from Long Island New York all day. We had to leave Florence, get back on the highway and drove for another 1/2 hour when we stopped in Manning South Carolina. We stopped at a Days Inn and they were wonderful. Clean room, very nice staff, very helpful.

Every time we went to the front desk for something no one was there. I believe you did not have enough help and they were torn in too many directions.

When I arrived at the hotel, the attendant told me that she sold my room. She told me that she was sold out and she only had a king size room. I was tired and I needed a room so I took the king size bed. The room was filthy. There were feces at the bottom base of the toilet in the bathroom. The bathtub had multiple dirty rings around it. I could not believe that anyone correct a room to someone in this condition. I went back downstairs and approach the attendant, and she was very belligerent in talk to me like I was a child. I ended up checking out of that room and went to a different hotel.

I contacted Expedia and they refused to refund my money also. Very disappointing. I showed up for my reservation to an absolutely disgusting room. So in essence, they condone places like these and will continue to offer them on the website. Please choose any hotel other than this one.

The room looked pretty clean but a slight smell of smoke. The bath mat was hanging on the tub and was already wet. We used one of the extra towels for that function. No trash bags in the trash cans. Very few options for breakfast. The room looks nice though and the beds were comfortable. Not a bad overnight stay.

The room was average, but could definitely use new beds. My bed had a sinking the middle, so my back ached the entire weekend. I suppose it's not something you can control but the bathrooms are too small. Other than that the stay was acceptable.

The room number made zero sense and were out of order and that might have been due to majority of the rooms going through construction. The staff that was working at night told me the location of the room completely wrong! I walked around the hotel twice searching and the room was on the opposite side of the hotel/ where I was told it was. Since the room it looked clean from a distance but noticed there was several stains all over the comforter that was covered up, the shower had stains on the tub from what looked like built up dirt grime and one of the towels had a weird stain. The alarm clock made this terrible noise every time the time changed causing me to eventually unplug it so I could sleep.

The only issue I had was that there was no elevator for my room on the second floor (I had a long day of driving so I was exhausted) but overall, the stay was great, especially for the area it's in. Room given to us had a jacuzzi tub that was not working (young man told us this at check in). Water in tub during shower built up as I was showering. Towels had stains. It was just an overnight stop on a longer trip. We had our dog so it was pet friendly. We were very pkeased

When I opened the room door it reeked of weed. So much for a nonsmoking room. I took one look at the room and didn’t even walk across the threshold because it smelled so bad and was awful looking. Plus, it was an outside door at the back of the building with no security cameras. Signs everywhere that said hotel not responsible for cars/belongings. Even had a notice at the front desk that said there was no fire sprinkler system on property. Checked out 1 minute after checking in.

Use either. Was not at all What we expected and would no recommend for the price.

Very comfortable bed

The door room for our stay was open upon arrival. The bathroom was dirty and so were the towels. The door of our second room looked like it had been jammed prior. No quality in quality Inn.

I were just passing through. I bought a motorcycle in Mississippi on Tuesday. I traveled to Atlanta and stayed for the night. Returned to further my trip back to Bowie Md. I reached South Carolina on the night and decided to rest there Wednesday Night. I resumed my destination Thursday evening after a family gathering and reached my home by 8 pm Thursday Night.

Dirty place!

Had a great stay this was our 3rd time here and had no problems at all l. Clean room, friendly staff at check in and great location of the highway and lots of food places nearby

Staff was very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Overall a pleasant one night stay while traveling.

My husband and I just wanted a nite away from home. I can definitely say the girl at the front desk was very friendly, very nice...... Now the room on the other hand..... YES, I asked for smoking bc my husband vapes (Following rules), but I should've just got a non-smoking room. There were cigarette butts and ashes all in a corner by the nightstand... apparently wasn't vacuumed well and there were no trash bags in any of the trash cans in our room. Luckily I had a grocery bag. With that being said.... I will not be booking here again!!!

I like the motel aspects of this hotel makes it easy to drive your vehicle up to your room to unload what you need for the night. This hotel is looking tired and needs a facelift. The breakfast selection was under whelming, So found little of interest. Location to I 95 is great! Didn’t feel we got good value for what we paid.

Ciggarette butts around. Not much area to walk a dog. But, other than that, out in the open, quiet and dry. Not many bugs.

Breakfast bar had a great variety and the self serve/make waffles were excellent!

First impression on check-in, negative. 83° day and not even allowed to hand carry your dog into the lobby? Female manager very dismissive. Wouldn’t check me in aa expected me to leave him in a hot car or leave a car running in a not so great area with AC on. Should consider putting up sign for one pet in lobby at a time on check-in. Second negative impression was initial room given smelled heavily like smoke, had requested non-smoking.Given another room with very strong air freshener smell, but better than the smoke smell. Cleaning could be better, dirty ring inside toilet bowl, the housekeeper very nice. Only stayed here because other hotels were full, there’s a reason why this was the last one with remaining rooms.

Not bad for one night. Just too noisy and parking was a challenge.

First , base of tub , dead bug, dirt in corner,towel rack pulled out of wall ,exhaust fan grill very dirty(hasn't been cleaned in months) ,pillows very small,soap opened,stuck to soap dish,refrigerator not cold enough,old potato chips under cushions in day bed(used cushion on bed in place of pillows} ,lack of elevator,breakfast was late,server not there until 0630 ,sausage gravy not ready until long after we left, office person was no where to be found when we wanted to complain ,condiment cabinet was locked until server came,bread was stale ! I hope you are aware of all these problems! First and last time at this at this hotel!

Outdated and needed repairs in room

Stayed on 04/09/25. I arrived at 9 pm and female attendant didn’t care to greet nor replied to mine. Breakfast at 6:40 am was lacking essentials…there was no ketchup nor honey, while mini fridge was locked and a client and I had to inquire if it would be opened. Tall female Manager on duty referred to young female kitchen employee in an unprofessional manner while delivering instructions to the employee. A guest with physical walking disability inquired about the waffle maker but there was no employee to provide assistance and the guest stated that did not feel comfortable nor inclined to request assistance from Manager on duty. The young female kitchen worker had walked out. Breakfast was very basic, bland, even the coffee was not delightful while the coffee cup’s lids were not the appropriate size for the cups, they were bigger…safety hazard! When I went to the front desk and stated ‘checking out’ and returned the 2 keys, female Manager dropped the keys on desk, in my opinion as if throwing them carelessly, while opening her mouth yawning. Too bad a clean room and facilities are tarnished by such rude and not professional staff. Stay somewhere else. I will.

These properties have struggled to stay in business. Staffers are underpaid and increasingly indifferent. Families can’t feel relaxed

Room was not clean found dirty socks in corner, stains on carpet. Pictures falsely advertise thus place. Room was dirty and gross.

Horrible place. Was awake all night. Could hear everybody thru walks. Smelly room. Dog poo everywhere! Never again. Not worth the money.

Lousy breakfast didn’t have much to offer

Old style hotel with very large rooms, everything was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn't great, but the coffee and juice were fine. Several restaurants around, also a large Target. Only stayed one night on journey to Florida. Would stay again on our next trip.

Dated property- need renovation. Breakfast: mediocre. Pool best feature.

Breakfast was horrible. Coffee was empty , asked to be refilled. Only option was biscuits and gravy,toast. No eggs? They did have a waffle maker. There were 4 young men above us on the balcony smoking pot and were very loud Sorry, but we were very disappointed in our stay..

Remote for television didn’t work

Room had cobwebs in corner, tv is small and too far across the room to see well. Room is in a hard place to find. I had room 238 it was in front up stairs between 200 and 219 opposite end from where 237 was .

The woman who checked me at the desk in was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, and the property felt slightly unsafe as a solo young female traveler. The room was average but outdated. It was okay but I would definitely not stay here again.

Our room was clean, furniture was in good shape, it was quiet, the price was fair, coffee was decent in the lobby, and we got a smoking room which was nice for a change. We can't complain at all. We're only there one night so never looked for more. Will book there again if necessary.

Our room definitely needed some maintenance. The chain lock on the door came out of the wall, the door handle to the bathroom was broken, the a/c made a rattling noise and didn’t cool properly. Paying $140 for this is much too costly!!!!

Pollen all over and that carried on in the room with carpeted floor:/ should remove carpet and replace with wood as they were very dirty

We had queen beds, and one of the beds was not made, and it had a dirty sock in between the sheets. We asked for someone to come and change the sheets and we were told that we had to change the sheets ourselves. The next morning we went to check out and we told the manager about what happened and They offered a 30% discount and we weren’t happy with that so she got very upset and was very nasty and she gave us 50% off

Beds are comfy. Persons were courteous. AC not workin so we had to move. Rug was stained. Bathroom old and crummy looking, although clean.

There were nails on the wall and it was very dirty.

The room was clean; but the bathroom was really outdated. Patches were visible on the bathroom wall, a bar was missing from the bathtub, no shower gel, tub and surround were dingy, shower curtain was dingy - overall the bathroom needed to be remodeled and updated.

Had a very nice stay, The bed was a little hard and the breakfast was lacking, no eggs, sausage, bacon, or peanut butter but what there was tasted good. Other than that I would not hesitate to stay again.

Toilet was not clean. Thankfully we travel with disinfectant wipes! No wifi connection. As an international traveller, wifi is important. If a hotel says they offer wifi, wifi should be available. When I reported this to the front desk, they gave me a telephone number to call. After 10 minutes of asking me to do this and do that, I gave up. We had been stuck in traffic for 3 hours due to numerous accidents on the I95, I just did not have the patience nor did I think it was my job to rectify the situation.

Refrigerator in room had mold and smelled horrible. I kept my food in my cooler. Property needs to be updated and cleaned!

Room was very clean and comfortable. We have a peg and that is why we chose this hotel. Would stay here again.

The bathroom area could use some updating. There were cracks in the sink, stains in the tub and stains on the walls. The actual room was great! Very clean and smelled good.
