    This was our first time staying with the Hilton on our way to Orlando and I'm so pleased that we discovered it and we also stayed on our way back to Pennsylvania and hopefully will do the same next year. The hotel was very accommodating as we had our two small dogs with us as well. Our room was very clean and we appreciated the kitchenette .

    The hotel was clean, fresh, and pleasant, and the stay was comfortable. It was impossible to close the curtains properly. The streetlights were shining directly into the windows. We tried to hold the curtains closed with our own clips, but even through the gaps the light was extremely bright, and at 3 a.m. it felt like 9 a.m. on a sunny day. Because of this, we were not able to sleep well. Most likely for the same reason, our upstairs neighbor also couldn’t sleep and was walking around all night. We could hear every single step because the ceilings in the rooms are very low and the sound insulation is very poor. If you sleep with earplugs and an eye mask, then this is a great hotel.     The breakfast was exceptional. Everything was was hot and fresh and there were so many items to choose from, not you average eggs and waffles. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was comfortable and inviting. They offered hot coffee and tea all evening. I sat in this room to eat the sandwich I had purchased, had coffee and read my book . It was comfortable and inviting. The desk lady at night was so kind and helpful. The room was large and very clean . I couldn't get over the fact it had a full kitchen, even a dishwasher! The pool area was very nice. I wanted to go in but it was chilly and raining. I will definitely stay here again. There really wasn't anything. Maybe it was a little hard to find coming from I 95 but that was probably just me.

    Upon check in they were over sold so they put in a room knowing it was out of service. When I arrived in room heat was not working. I called front desk to he told maintenance left for the day and there is nothing they could do. Amanda the front desk agent refused to refund my $233 I paid for the night and told me the heat was working perfect! LIES!

    The hotel looks like it was refurbished and looks newish. The reason for my lower marks is because we got there and you know when you sleep in a bed the sheets look like they are imprinted with the shapes of the mattress pad below? It looked like that. Also there were several hairs between the sheets. The other bed looked better however on the quilt there was fountain. There were long hairs on the tub walls in the bathroom. The center table didn't look like it had been wiped down. The staff was super nice and honestly the breakfast was phenomenal. Sadly I would never go back to this property.

    This is a good hotel, but we booked a suite, with a door between the main bedroom and the pull out couch, and this suite didn’t have that, was small, had only 1 chair in the dining room. Trash bags were not inserted into trash bins. Breakfast was amongst the worst I’ve had at any such hotel. The fruit was off. The mini omelettes were dry, and made with American cheese, the pork sausages looked like churros. And pulled pork soup? The only good breakfast food was the waffles, which you make yourself.

    The room and staff were great! However, while I understand being pet friendly, I am still not happy that my sleep kept getting interrupted by barking dogs. Even though I called the front desk, they did not take it seriously or do anything. Thank you.

    Overall stay was good. A little noise from all the kids staying from some soccer camp/event while we stayed. Only complaint really was that but I know that the property and staff couldn’t control that. Staff were very nice and friendly. Would stay again

    To make matters worse, the air conditioner was as loud as a tractor, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The only positive aspects were the friendly service at the front desk and the decent breakfast, but unfortunately these cannot outweigh the disgusting and unacceptable condition of the room. This was a truly disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The housekeeping staff needs to do a better job with cleaning. The room was a bit dusty, the microwave was dirty and had a dirty plate in it. There was a glass left in the freezer. Being that this hotel is a dog friendly hotel, they need to ensure that they are vaccuming and dusting anytime they are cleaning the rooms. I had two rooms and needed them to clean something in both upon our arrival.

    We have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Homewood Suites here in Florence. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff, and the lobby was beautifully decorated and clean. Our room was spacious and full of amenities. We especially appreciated the free laundry service available to us, as we were nearing the end of our travels and needed some items cleaned. Many shopping and dining options are in close proximity too!

    The shower kept leaking to the floor, room felt dirty and musky. The pool was disgusting, looks like it wasnt cleaned in days, had bugs and cigarettes in it. The breakfast was okay. I was harrased all morning to check out on time, check out was 12pm, i shouldnt be called and people coming to my door asking me to check out before 12pm it was overwhelming.

    There were black hairs in the bathtub, bathroom floor, counter, sink and bed. The window was filthy and had two huge hand prints on it along with huge smudge marks. The curtain was broken and I cut my foot twice on shards of glass in the carpet by the bed. Trash bags were not in the trash cans. The fold out sofa bed sheet had stains all over it. Absolutely disgusting. The walls are also very thin and you could hear people talking, slamming their doors, running in the hall.

    Fire the property manager & the head of housekeeping. The first room had an unflushed toilet, dirty towels, no fresh towels & garbage in the garbage can. The grounds had litter all over & every garbage can was over flowing. As an added bonus an "Urban youth" was outside the door to the area that you walked your dog smoking pot This was a motel disguised as a hotel.

    The folded towels had hair stuck to them. There was hair in the shower. The shower was moldy and the light switches were so dusty. We took our wet wipes and wiped down all surfaces. We arrived very late and tired. And I knew it was going to take so long to get another room. The kitchen had someone’s left over pizza box in the fridge. Not the experience I was looking forward to. I was really disappointed. Will never be booking here again.

    Highly disappointed in my recent stay. The location was convenient n prime location to interstate. However the first room I walked into was not cleaned, there was hair on the bed sheets n the bed was not made. Went to front desk requested a new room, that room recked with odor almost like a moldew/sour smell. I immediately walked back downstairs to complain. I was given the first room back n requested bed change however bc no housekeeping . I was handed a bag of sheets from the front desk clerk n literally had to change my own bedding . The chairs were worn with stains n the shower wasn’t clean. Highly disappointed will not be returning.

    I like the fact that it was quiet but my room was not properly cleaned. The kitchen area had dried ketchup or bbq sauce on the fridge and sink and the ice bucket had dried food on it as well. After that, I questioned the cleanliness of the whole room and was very uncomfortable. The next morning when I went to take a shower to get ready for church, I saw that the tub had a dirt ring around it. I called the front desk and ask for house cleaning and dwas told that thye would be right there; ten minutes went by and no housekeeping. I called again and another ten minutes went by. When housekeeping finally came, she had a toilet brush and said she heard my toilet had a ring. I told her no, that it was the tub to which she said she needed to go find something else to clean it with. While she was gone, a gut knocked at the door with a plunger and said he was called because my toilet was stopped up; I said no my bathtub has a dirt ring around it so he shook his head and left. The housekeeper finall arrived and cleaned my tub. I took my shower but I was late for church services because all this took about 30-40 minutes. I had stayed there before and had no problems; I was very disappointed with this stay. Oh, and I killed a little roach on the wall.

    The stay itself was uneventful. It was a normal hotel experience-no better, no worse. The nightmare began when the hotel clerk claimed the room had not been prepaid and charged our card for the stay-even though we had already prepaid. Hotels.com was "not able to reach the hotel" and promised to follow up. We DID have pets, so we expected a $50 pet fee as promised in the terms and conditions. HOWEVER, the second charge was for $150-not the $50 pet fee stated on hotels.com. Fast forward about two weeks, and I have gotten nothing but the run around from both Homewood Suites and hotels.com. First, the manager was going to refund the extra payment. Then, they couldn't "find" the charge. Then, the manager was refusing to refund. Now, today, all of a sudden it's "the pet fee." It's very clear they charged far more than they should have and are not the least bit apologetic about it. I would suggest only using a card that has the amount you expect to pay. We normally really like staying at Homewood Suites hotels, but this experience has really soured us and it's unlikely we will be back unless they admit their mistake and undertake training for their staff so this doesn't happen to anyone else.     I would of rated this property all 5 stars, but thier database crashed. They had no backup hard copy of who paid just which rooms they were assigned. I had to write my debit card info on a paper which is something your not suppose to do when traveling. They had to escort everyone to thier rooms so they can open the door.... However, the room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. We needed to use a handicap room, I really think hotels needs an education on what handicap accessible means, we of course had a backup plan for our son, but it would be nice that a handicap accessible room had a handicap accessible bathroom..... Putting rails on a wall isn't enough...

    My room here in Florence was quiet but the floors were dirty. The carpets in the hotel are dirty. The floors in the elevators were dirty. When I go into a room, I remove my shoes and put on my flip flops, which are cleaned each time before packing. Nothing on the bottoms of my flip flops. When I put on my flip flops and walked around the room, the bathroom, and then back to the entrance to the room, my flip flops were now with something sticky on my right flip flop and all kinds of little specks of things stuck to the bottom of my flip flops. In the bathroom, there was hair on the floor, hair behind the door in the bathroom, and a small clothing tag stuck to the floor. A clear indicator that the floors had NOT been cleaned. I hope the pictures I attached are allowed. The room showed that someone had wiped things down, such as the appliances, but with what? The microwave made a loud noise when in use. The shower in the bathroom had mold, again, not being cleaned. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not for me. I don't like feather pillows, and that was all they had. I will never stay here again. I hope Hilton, that owns this chain, will do something to address the maintenance of this hotel. It is definitely in need of updating and a major cleaning of floors and bathrooms! The staff there was nice.

    Property was very updated and clean. Staff was so courteous and pleasant. My only complaint is pet owners should be on their own floor. We were next door to a dog owner and it was very noisy. I love animals so that was not the issue. The dog barked at everything.

    Room was decently clean but the floors seemed a little dirty. My husband and I definitely liked how the room was laid out. The pillows on the bed were awful and not comfortable at all. The hotel was pretty quiet all in all.

    We stayed there overnight on our way to Florida. Overall we had a good stay. The room was big and clean but breakfast needs improvement. Not too many choices.

    What if I was someone who does not insect, this not sanitized and a health hazard. The only action that was taking was my room got changed, no extra perks or anything else. Beware of your sheets not clean upon check in, as they only spray lysol.

    This is a very nice hotel! I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have, is my room was in the front just behind the flag pole. So, the super bright lights that shine on the flag pole shined directly into my room all night. The blackout curtains didn’t stand a chance.

    Staff was friendly but our hotel room and bathroom was dirty. The carpet was stained and the walls in the bathroom were filthy. My daughter and I also had the worst allergies while in the room. I’m surprised the hotel is newer but so worn down already.

    The only negative I can say is check in was not good. Check in time was 3pm we got there at 4pm and our room was not ready for us till 5:20. Then we went to the desk for a blankt and there were none clean. we were told one would be brought up when it was clean. That didn't happen.
