This hotel is not being maintained. After a long day of hiking and exploring the local waterfalls there was NO HOT WATER for showers with 2, 7 year old kids! and on top of it, the staff took well over an hour of jumping around 4 rooms at 11pm before giving up on the ideal of a hot shower and having to leave at 3:45am for our flight! One of the rooms tubs also wouldn’t drain either after testing the shower,and phone not working to even be able to call the seat about the problems. WASTED TIME LIKE NO OTHER!!!! It shows you how the cleaning and maintenance crews are not doing their jobs. After numerous stays over the years I will not be back.

Room was clean. Staff was not super helpful or friendly. Asked for a wake up call and did not get one. Stood at the front desk for over 6 minutes and staff member just sat in the back on their phone.

The Ac throughout the hotel was not working, but the AC in the rooms were working. There was no hot water in the rooms. They had called a repair man.

Clean comfortable room with a comfortable bed' trust across from the entrance to the airport. The front desk staff the daywe were there was efficient, but never smiled, never made eye contact, and had very deadpan expressions on their faces. I had the impression they were very stressed.

I wish the shuttle lasted past midnight since many of the flights coming into Ashville are scheduled to come in around that time and flights are often delayed. To even add an extra half an hour and cut the shuttle service off at 12:30 would be very helpful. My flight was delayed and I specifically choose motels with shuttle services. It is a big factor.

Clean room. Air conditioning and heating available. Staff helpful. I caught a virus during my stay and was sick for more than a week. I touched common surfaces in the dining, fitness, and outdoor lounge areas.

My alarm clock was dead, useless. No time, no alarm. No excuse for these two items to be broken. It says a lot about management.

The hotel is in a really convenient location across the street from the airport. I was able to walk from the airport after my flight arrived. The room is perfectly adequate. Nothing spectacular but comfortable place to stay for a night. They have a nice free breakfast, and the staff was friendly.

Almost a perfect stay. Upon arrival informed the staff that the bathroom mirror light was strobing. While they acknowledged that they would have some look into it, they never fixed it. Good think I am not prone to seizures. Made use of the bathroom uncomfortable when the light was on.

I absolutely loved this stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. The pool was also very nice and clean, but always packed. The only thing is that neither of the ice machines were working but other than that, everything was great! I would recommend staying at this hotel.

After long days at ArborFest, it was nice to come back to a comfortable and quiet room. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and everything was set up well for a relaxing night’s rest. Overall, the hotel offered a great value and met everything I needed for a work trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone attending ArborFest or traveling through the Asheville area, and I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub after our long trip and found out upon arrival that it was not in service, so that was a real bummer. We paid extra money for this hotel specifically because it had a hot tub. The area around the pool looked really outdated and the doors and windows really needed a good scrub. There were no clean towels at all in the pool area. The bathroom in our room had no fan so mold was growing on the ceiling. The pillows in the room were awful and you couldn't make them any flatter. They were way too full and not comfortable at all. The road noise was unbearable and we didn't sleep at all before our flight. It was so loud it sounded like the window was open but we checked and it was not. If you choose to stay at this hotel I would request a room not on the roadside. The only plus to this hotel was that it was located directly across from the airport which was very convenient. We would not stay here again.

Must day was brief; however, the one night I was there was very pleasant. I left before breakfast was served at 6 AM. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We chose to stay here because it is close to the airport. We needed transportation at 4am and we were told the van was full until 5:30. We had to walk to the airport with our luggage. The van was sitting at the hotel empty when we left. This is the second time this has happened. Very frustrating and disappointing.

The stay was good but transportation schedules not so much. Booked a 5:30am shuttle and at 5:45 still no shuttle. The front desk called and said there was no reservation so we had to walk in the rain to the airport to be there on time.

It was fine other than the construction and power tools first thing in the morning. For a place whose only job is to facilitate sleep that wasn’t a great move.

My original room had a roach, which I documented on video. Due to a winter weather advisory, it was unsafe to leave, so I requested a room change. The second room had entry/access issues (also documented), and I was ultimately moved to a third room. Despite these issues and multiple room changes, I was not offered any refund or compensation. This experience fell below Wyndham’s standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. They tried to make it right by crediting be with 2,000 reward points which is worth roughly about $10. Do not stay, they are a joke

Breakfast was reasonable, staff is friendly, room was quiet. We have 4 people in one room, but somehow the hotel has a rule that the maximum number of towels they can leave in the room is 3 sets, so we have to ask for additional towels each time after they clean up the bathroom. Also, the toilet was clogged for some reason, we didn't do anything wrong, but we were asked to unclog it ourselves which is strange.

so convenient to the Asheville airport and to the rental car center for the price of a Rent-A-Car, you could stay overnight and get your car the next morning instead or return it early stay overnight and pay one less day on a car rental if you’re flying out on an early flight

The room was good but I had called before 11am to reserve the airport shuttle and was told I could do that at check in. At check in they said the shuttles were all full. So advice is to make sure the shuttle gets reserved regardless of what they tell you.

The location is across from the airport. We scheduled a hotel shuttle for 8 am and the shuttle driver was a no show.

A bit dated but clean and comfortable.

Just plain dingy white towels, wash cloths and don’t like the pump soap, shampoo and conditioners. Squirted all over and almost slipped on residue. Just looked and felt like a low end Motel.

This place has it all. You can walk to the airport. It has a pool, fitness room, clean bedrooms, friendly staff. It's not expensive.

I am disappointed in this as a wingate property. It was subpar at best. The rooms were not up to the standards of a wingate property and the staff was not very welcoming. I was told there would be no problems when I checked out early but they lied. Won’t be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We loved the pool and Jacuzzi, both were very nice. However, at 9:00 pm Friday night I decided I was ready for a hot shower. There was no hot water. I had to bathe VERY quickly in barely lukewarm water. I about froze! The next morning my friend took a shower around 10:00 am and it was hot. That night I thought I'd best get my shower early so around 6:00 pm I tried to shower and again, no hot water. I tried again around 2:00 am thinking surely it would be hot then but, nope! I've never stayed in a hotel and run out of hot water but we usually always stay in Hilton hotels. This will prevent us from ever staying here again. That and the morning we got up to leave, someone was smoking pot and it was so strong it was coming into our room. When we opened the door to the hall the smell was overwhelming. So as long as you don't want to take your shower in the evening and don't mind the strong smell of pot, you'll be fine at this hotel.

They’re friendliness of the staff

I visit family in the area as often as I am able. This property is my go-to. The property is clean, easily accessible, the staff is always pleasant.

On the down side. The top bar of the light in the bathroom flashed the entire time I was there. The toilet handle came off in my hand as it isn't really attached to the toilet. There is an obvious stain on the chair in the corner, and the lighting was a bit dim for working in the room.

Honestly, if I didn't respect this place for what a great job they do, I'd probably make my husband steal one of their pillows because my head has never been so content. They have breakfast but I can give zero details on that because I slept so well that I didn't make it downstairs until after 2 PM. Giving it 5 stars because I can only assume they can do no wrong. Definitely stay here if you get the chance, and please give me details on their pillows if you're in their inner circle. Also, Mudpuppies is super close by and has great staff, delicious food, and great drinks.

This hotel is right across the street from the Asheville Airport. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable (on the firm side if you like that). We didn't have breakfast, but the coffee was great.

Room was dirty, still had old food on the floor. Almost didn’t want to use shower as it felt dirty and not enough parking and smelt like smoke. Had cookies at check in which was a plus.

READ RHIS BEFORE BOOKING. I woke up at 2:00 am itching and when I turned the light on I had bits all over my body. When I pulled the sheet back exposing the mattress I found bed bugs, which until this point I had never seen. I caught one in a napkin and checked online and sure enough that’s what it was. I dressed and went to the front desk and upon showing it to the cheek and all my bites, I was told there was nothing she could do til the manager got there the next morning. I asked for another room and was told there wasn’t any ( I later found out that wasn’t true.). I asked for cleaning supplies and was told they were locked up and she didn’t have the key. I remember the hotel had a guest laundry so I decided to wash all my clothes but the door marked laundry which was open, turned out to be the hotel service laundry but there were cleaning supplies, so I took bug spray and cleaner. The clerk then yelled at me to get out of there. I showed her what I found and that I would return them when I cleaned the room. She then told me she was calling the police . Which she did and a half hour later after I had cleaned the room the police showed up and I was forced to leave. It was just above freezing at 3:30 am and I was on a motorcycle. After trying four hotels all booked since it’s leaf season I gave up and rode an hour away to another hotel. I was called by the manger the next day apologizing since the whole thing was on video and the clerk never told her what was happening.

It was a great place to stay!!

This stay offered parking for our vehicle during our travels. It is super convenient to the Asheville airport. You could actually walk to the terminal if you wanted to. They offer a free shuttle that was right on time.

The room was basically spot cleaned with a candy wrapper and coffee lids on the floor upon arrival. Saw a couple of bugs in the room. Hot water barely worked. The pool was about the only part of the stay we enjoyed. The breakfast was barely par.

I just think some liitle things would go along way.

Room smelt. One staff memeber said the shuttle was taken at 430. The other said it wasn’t. Idk. But over all dated and smelly hotel.

Sadly there were a lot of things wrong with the room. We were only going to stay one night before flying out and were willing to look past the water damage and stains in the carpets and on the ceilings. But our room also happened to have fleas. One girl at the front desk was very accommodating and let us know we could request a refund through Expedia and she'll run it through since we decided to go elsewhere for the night. Unfortunately, the audit shift girl came in and blocked our refund request when Expedia called on our behalf. And although we brought the flea up to them, the audit shift girl only confirmed the incident but did not approve the refund. Now we have to wait to call again while we're on our flight for the morning shift employee to confirm a refund.

Great for a night after a flight

Was only there for a couple hours and to sleep. Super close to the airport and had shuttle service.

Hotel was very clean and neat, staff very courteous. No problems with booking at all. One time stop to half a very long drive and we have never done it before but thought we would give it a try. Make this trip every couple of years, and I believe this is going to become a regular stop from now on! My only complaint is that I encountered some poison ivy outside as I was unloading my car, stay on pavement.

Things I didn’t love: PARKING number one! I circled the building 5 times before deciding to park in the surgery center lot next door, along with many other frustrated hotel guests. Room was a little dirty. First thing I noticed when I walked in the room was some strands of hair on the comforter. There were old food stains on the floor. A collection of dust along the walls. Just gross. OK for one night as a necessity but will definitely choose somewhere else next time

Break other guests scrambled as we did to grab a muffin or yogurt. The coffee was made. It was an inconvenience and disappointment. There was no free breakfast.

We have stayed here for many years and this was the first time we felt unsafe. Over a three night period we saw front desk staff only when we checked in. Other times they were not visible. Also, with the off site parking for the airport allowed at this facility if made the property feel unsafe when you went to your car or were outside the building. Our room also overlooked the indoor pool which made the room extremely noisy until the pool closed at 10pm. I understand a room with a pool view but have never had one with a picture window overlooking an indoor pool before.

Hotel is nice and convenient location to the airport

First and most disturbing was the desk clerk who checked us in gave us a room that was already occupied. At 11:45 pm we attempted to get in the room and we woke the folks up in the room which made us all very uncomfortable. 2nd one of the outside doors on the front side of the building was not secured at any point durning our stay. other than those two incidents your hotel was good and clean. Staff that we interacted with were very nice.

Good hotel stay for short term.

Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean

If you have an early flight at the airport this hotel is best. You can just walk across the street to the airport. They had a hot tub that was just what I needed to end my hiking trip. The price was fair.

This hotel smells musty. Especially in the room. I saw mold growing in the shower. The tub drain was clogged and a plumber attempted to fix twice but did not fix. I was showering and had to keep shutting off the water several times so the tub didn’t overflow. The hot tub and pool seemed dirty and dated. Need to be repaired. Too much chlorine as well. No pool towels on the first day. Someone kept smoking weed on the second floor and it smelled awful.

Room was clean! Bed was we super comfy and slept amazing!

We have stayed at Wyndom Hotels before and it has been great. But not here in north carolina by Ashville Airport. The lobby smelled so bad everyday like bleach and chlorine. Our room was dirty on counters, end tables. No phone in room. You couldn't sit on couch with out falling to the middle. Not vacuumed. Had hair from Others on my barefeet. Had to ware saddles in my room. We could tell our room at some point had leaked from ceiling, But after a rain storm on 7-29-25 It soaked our carpet and the air conditioner by the window right by the bed. We told them about it, but no one ever seemed to care. They changed our room on wednesday 7-30-25. When we went upstairs our room to gather our stuff for the new room. Our door was left open the whole day wednesday when we got back late from being with family. All of our belongings were in our old room with the door open for any one to come in and take what they wanted. That is so unexceptable for any hotel to do this. Weather it be cleaning staff or maintenance. Plus it was still raining in our room. We will expect only 100 percert of our money back for the huge security issue they created for us. They really better step it up if they want people to leave good reviews

Very nice hotel.

It was very convenient across from the airport and the staff was very understanding and worked with me to get a shuttle out early the next morning.

Nobody was at the front desk for over 10 minutes upon arrival. The first room assigned somebody had just smoked cigarettes inside the room. Switched rooms and went outside to return to the two front desk agents talking a man calling white people snobs and Gringos.

It was acceptable clean and the shuttle was quick. We parked our car while at the airport.

Enjoyed my stay while training for Septic installation.

My stay has been phenomenal

You can see that they are trying to renovate, but it was average at best.

I didnt like the check in at all. I did the early check in, including sending a copy of my drivers license. Then when i got to the hotel, i still had to show my drivers license. The girl couldnt look at my picture on the license on the computer and see that it was me. I will never spend my time doing that again.

Overall a good experience. Slept well and the breakfast was good 😊

Fast and easy check in, clean room, no hassle parking. Very close to airport.

Check in was quick and easy. The rooms, hotel, elevator are dated. There was a strange smell in our room. There were stains on the carpet and the tv had limited channels and half were in another language. We tried to get a shuttle but they couldn’t fit all of us in one trip and didn’t have the times available that we needed.

I requested assistance because kids were messing around after 9-10PM on my floor. No one assisted or responded to my complaints

There are many hotel options near the Asheville airport. I would not recommend this one.

Property is in walkable distance from Asheville regional airport. Clean and well maintained. Staff was very courteous. I enjoyed my stay

Older building, smoke free but our room smelt like stale cigarette smoke. Good water pressure, decent breakfast, clean enough. Spiders in room and some ants in dining area.

Positive though…super close to the airport. Could almost walk.

I know it’s impossible to make everyone happy but the mattress was extra firm and found it uncomfortable. The a/c was very loud. I informed the Clerk at checkout. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was much better than most.

Common areas could use a little more cleaning.

The hotel is in great shape and room smelled so clean as we walked, carpet looked new and room was immaculate. Staff were friendly and there was a variety of restaurants close by… we also loved that the drive to the airport was like 2/3 minutes and we didn’t have to wake up too early!!!! Would go back again. My kids loved the smart TV and ready wifi with no password 😊

The parking was limited by spots reserved for nearby businesses and I don’t know what else. The good news is that Starbucks is just a few minutes away and then I hopped right on the expressway to leave the area.

I’ve killed multiple bugs in my room… door key does not worked. Took me multiple attempts to get in the first time. Ultimately, I had to go downstairs and request another key. Great location & but not worth the trouble and bugs. I would like to add, Front desk agent was very kind.

Checked into the hotel and when I got to my room I it had a strong smell of mildew. I took my shoes off to get comfortable and the carpet from the bed to the window was wet.
