The room was fine. Breakfast was not good and in the last day we showed up 4 min late after it was over 9am) and the front desk made a comment “that happens”. Seriously they could have said can we offer you a yogurt or fruit? We had to park at their 2nd building which is right there but not immediate to the building our room was in. No big deal but parking is limited.

This is a great place to stay! They have pet friendly rooms, plenty of parking and staff is so friendly. It is a non smoking property though.

Didn't make it to breakfast. Was not planning on stopping in flagstaff.... I got overheated in sedona , and had to make a mandatory stop. .

The place states that it is pet (dog) friendly, but that’s not the case. They are good to charge $25, per night, per dog. But they really should advertise what their definition of dog friendly means. We couldn’t bring our dog to the breakfast area. My dog is a miniature Goldendoodle! I could understand if it was a large breed dog, maybe. Also, you are NOT allowed to leave the dog in the room by itself. I can understand this, partly, but they should really think of a case by case basis. I booked two rooms. My in-laws had to stay in a room around the hallway, because their room was a non-pet room. I Do not recommend this place. Not until and unless they clarify their policies or change them. You’re located in a mountain town. Lots of nature loving people go there. Most love dogs!!! You should too Motel 8!!!

Front desk personnel super. Breakfast all sugary.need some hot food items besides waffles. Dinning area quiet busy.not comfortable. Nor does ir show off the facility well. Couldnt stream on tv. They discourage it. Perhaps bring my own stick on trips as this often happens. If you are like me and want to stay and rest in room this wiuld be useful. . . Direct tv cable offereings poor . All infomercials. and junk. No much parking.

Reasonable price to stay one night. Traveling to Grand Canyon National Park and state park in Flagstaff is very convenient.

The front desk clerk was not very helpful and and seemed to lack friendly customer service just checked us in didn’t tells us anything about the hotel or it’s amenities gave us a key and told us the room number. I had to ask where to go and when was breakfast.

The housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly. I'm sure because of graduation at NAU prices were much higher (hopefully) everything was old and crusty. Fixtures, bathroom, sink. The carpet defiantly had that "don't take your shoes off" look and smell to it.

We enjoy the space the room has.. Coffee maker was very very dirty. I saw it had debris in the water reservoir so I ran bottle and half of water through. It had chunks of stuff and smelled bad. Suggest that these are cleaned after each stay. Lighting in room is very dim. Sink was slow at draining.

Employees were awesome. Fast and easy to check in and out. Quite and safe location. Was able to walk my dog without any problems. Everything was great. Made last day of a very long trip easy.

Honestly for the money paid, nothing much. Rooms have amenities quite old, hosted in two buildings. Breakfast was very poor and needs. A major overhaul. Minimal assistance by the staff.

The property was very small. The Parking situation was ridiculous. We came back from dinner to no spots. The desk attendant was very unhelpful and told me to park my car at the back location which was a Super 8 not being used. So basically an abandoned parking lot, requiring a dark walk back to the main motel. I didn’t feel safe leaving my car. Once back in our room, I requested a blanket for my bed since the bedding was basically a sheet and the attendant was very rude and I was given a moldy smelling paper thin blanket. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

Long line to get checked in. Only one person was at the desk, and while she was friendly enough, at one point when she had 4 people in line waiting to get checked in, she answered the phone. Instead of asking the caller to hold or leave their number so she could call back once the folks in line had been handled, she talked with them for at least 5 minutes, answering questions, discussing options, room rates, discounts and other hotels in the area before hanging up and returning to the people waiting in front of her. By that time the line had grown even longer!

We choose Super 8 hotels often when traveling since they accept dogs and this was by far the nicest Super 8 we’ve stayed at. The hotel was clean and friendly, they provided nice amenities like lotion, shampoo and body wash, and was in a nice location in flagstaff. We really appreciated this nice overnight stop at a very reasonable price.

The first couple times we stayed there it was clean and employees were ok, not friendly but not mean also. Since then. The rooms we got were dirty, on 4th stay we had hair all over the pillows and in between the sheets and in shower, in shower hair in tub and hair on the wall soaps-in clear view! No shame! We told them about it and their excuse was the house keeper is new. If she’s new the supervisor or mgmt should have been checking the rooms! It’s like they didn’t chg the sheets, they just re-adjusted the sheets and tuck it in to cheat on their cleaning. I threw up! No doubt I did! When we brought the dirtiness to their attention they started looking upset and mean, making excuses for the cleaners, but no apologies! Not once.. and then they started to have an attitude towards us when we came back the following week. It felt like they intentionally gave us the ugliest and dirtiest room on second floor even tho I was in crutches! to punish us because we voiced out what they didn’t do. We weren’t mean about it, I just refused to go to another rm because I was using crutches and wheelchair. I also used my own sanitizing spray to clean chairs, desks, counters, remote, etc I didn’t want all that to go to waste. The lady that gave us extra sheets said she can’t make our bed bc she had to get back to her desk. I just told her that’s fine! We are not going to force u!!

Nice spacious room for a family of 4. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and not having to have separate rooms. Plenty of selections for breakfast. Parking is a little hectic but all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We were asked to leave at 1 am because my 14 year old daughter was having a bi-polar episode. I will require a refund for 1 night and our $75 deposit since we didn’t even stay one night. And also, whoever the night manager was, came and spoke with me about my daughter’s episode and he told us we could stay if she quieted down and got no more complaints. My daughter did quiet down and I spoke with the police and we were still asked to leave. This was so wrong. I understand that it disturbed other guests however, my daughter has Bi-Polar 2 which is the more severe form. How he could be so insensitive to a young girl in crisis is beyond me. Even the police who responded witnessed her crisis after I told her that we had to leave, because that re-triggered her emotional and mental state. At least they were understanding and compassionate. And btw, booking that room for my daughters security took every last dime I had. So thank you soooo much for having such an insensitive staff. And also it wasn’t just my daughters, the people above us were stomping around slamming doors and everything else all night as well.

I left my jewelry behind and the head housekeeper turned it into the assistant manager Ashley who called me. This was over 6,000.00 dollars of jewelry and two people were so honest and said the reward I wanted to give each of them wasn’t necessary ! How amazing! Of course I insisted they each take the money . This company should be so proud of there employees!

The breakfast had limited options and cramped up space for the number of people present. The rooms were well maintained but be aware that there is no elevator on the property.

Nobody cleaned our room or refreshed our dirty towels (the first day we put a sign saying don't disturbed, but the second day we removed the sign and still nobody came). Staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy & plentiful. But I never got near the waffles or toaster for breakfast - just a mob scene in one place. Also please put out a sign saying "only 1 fruit each please" since there were people taking all the fruit and none was replaced. I did appreciate having liquid milk & not just solid creamers in coffee. Also appreciated the yoghurt and hot chocolate. Room was small but fine. Thanks.

Check-in process was easy and the room was neat and clean. I turned a lamp on and the electricity went out in the room. The outlets did not work, the lights turned off and did not come back on. We spent the entire night and the next morning in darkness and no electricity. I called the front desk when it happened and they were apologetic. I also let them know in the morning during check-out. We've stayed here multiple times and this was the first issue we've encountered.

Check-in process was easy and the room was neat and clean. I turned a lamp on and the electricity went out in the room. The outlets did not work, the lights turned off and did not come back on. We spent the entire night and the next morning in darkness and no electricity. I called the front desk when it happened and they were apologetic. I also let them know in the morning during check-out. We've stayed here multiple times and this was the first issue we've encountered.

When I booked and I tried to change my original date, they told me they couldn't do it. In fact, all they could do was make me a new one.. So I told them that I want it canceled. Now the website that I went on to, it said for the front office at winningham.. Come to find out it was not.So I did not get a refund that I should have. The problem was the weather..

Door tags needed to let housekeeping know when to clean rooms. We only had a “do not disturb” tag. We were there 6 days, and never had housekeeping. We had to get our own clean towels on the third day from the front desk. We emptied our own trash and had to go down the hall to find a housekeeper to get a roll of toilet paper!

My favorite place to stay when I'm in town. Great rooms at a great price. Right next to NiMarcos, and walkable distance from the Chevron. Parking is a little tricky at night, and if there is none in front, you have to park at the second building, which can be a scary walk at night, if you are by yourself. Overall, great hotel and worth every penny!

The property was clean and staff was friendly. The room was a good size but the bathroom door would not stay closed unless latched. The bathroom fan was obnoxiously loud, so much so, that it would drown out the noise of the trains across the road. The bed was on a very high pedestal and difficult for my short wife to get into.

Easy one day turn around trip. Free parking was a wonderful experience. The front desk assistant was very friendly and helpful. My room was meticulously clean. I didn’t eat breakfast the next morning but while checking out I did notice how nice the continental breakfast display was displayed. Great experience and would definitely recommend it anyone visiting Flagstaff.

The room was relatively clean unless you looked behind furniture or under the beds. We picked this hotel because of having 5 occupants and it was perfect size and we were not obln top of each other. However, the down side was that there Also, the bunk beds ripped holes in the carpet to and showed the sub-floor. We also had small ants in our room and our room smelled of mildew

If you aren’t looking for swimming pools or fancy accommodations, but just a solid clean room, friendly staff, easy parking, and a serviceable breakfast, this was a hard value to beat. Had the 2 bed plus bunk bed room and it worked real well for 3 adults and 2 kids. Spacious room, decent TV, and good freeway access. Beds weren’t the most comfortable, and breakfast serving area was a little cramped, but for the value it was hard to beat. Will stay again.

It was good for the price, even though it looked fixed there was hair everywhere even the sheaths and the tub and a big hole on the carpet probably a fury friend scratched on it.

It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included, but there was no meat. Parking was a little sparse. Check in was fast and access to the room was easy. We were on a road trip and appreciated a fast in and out, no hassle experience at a reasonable price.

Flagstaff is an awesome town with 3 monuments and parks are within 100 miles.

I was with my 2 kids for soccer tournaments on September 6th. One of my sun played in the morning and has another game by 1pm I was asking to check in early but the lady told me that they don’t have any available rooms before 3pm and my son needs a shower for the next game. I told her to cancel the reservation but she said she is gonna charge me a full amount. In the middle of our conversation if I payed 35 dollar she can give me a room I don’t say nothing because I need my son to take a shower but I don’t like to pay the extra money. When I walk to the room I see a lot of rooms available. They just charge you for their own benefits. This is not a good Customer Service and I don’t recommend anybody to be there. Its better to pay more in and stay somewhere else. I’m traveling a lot and I’ve been checking early too many times but I never get overcharge. This is my first experience.

We’ve stayed here before, but don’t think we’ll be back. Room was clean overall, but it smelled extremely musty. Tried to open the window and air, but soon the room smelled of marijuana.

Very friendly staff that has to work with older property with small parking lot also close to major railway that can get busy all times of the day or night. Luckily the railway is aware of going thru town and does its best with little excess horn noise but if you are a light sleeper bring the ear muffs!

The king mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on, it was sleeping on concrete. The shower made noise and the room didn’t seem well cleaned. They don’t clean your room daily, they only service your room every 3 days, their breakfast is junk food, will never be back.

Wall had stains on it. Bathroom fan had mounds of dust. Blankets were raggedy.

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had full size toiletries and was well equipped. The bed was okay, not plush and seemed to be sitting on a high metal frame sticking out past the mattress. The phone in the room was not working which I realized when I tried to turn the front office. The walls are pretty thin and I could hear when someone was showering or watching tv. Otherwise it was adequate for the short stay I needed.

Staff was excellent. Property was decent except for gaps around room door, making an otherwise quiet room a bit noisier. A/C worked well, fridge functioned well. TV had 2 remotes and was a bit confusing to figure out. Everything else was fine except water pressure too low in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps provided. Bed was medium firm and comfortable. Overall good stay for the price.

Breakfast options were nice and it was good to have in-room coffee, fridge and microwave. The vending machine had water and sodas but I think $3.50 for a bottle of water is too much.

They require a $75 deposit. Not a big deal, but this was the cheapest stay we had on our way home from vacation. We stayed in several very nice, resort style places. Super 8 was the only one to require such a deposit. And it was mid at best.

Great price for a room that included 2 queens plus bunk beds. Very hard to find that accommodation at budget pricing while also being pet friendly. Some great restaraunts nearby & close to historic downtown. Only complaint was the cleanliness was lacking & the room had a significant odor (my best guess is it's likely due to previous guest's pets having accidents in the room).

Gorgeous location with a stunning view of the mountain. Quiet and cozy. Room was big and clean with great amenities. Only real complaint is that the beds are rock hard :( I sleep on a firm mattress at home and this is excessively hard. Actually hurt my hips since I'm a side sleeper. Get some cheap mattress toppers to soften the beds up for goodness sake.

The hotel was so much more than the price we paid. Clean and convenient. We were in Flagstaff on a family emergency and the staff, especially Ashley, took exceptional care for us! Many kudos to this motel.

The room smelled heavily like dog pee even though we did not have a pet friendly room. There was garbage and food next to the desk leftover from the previous guest.

The shower and bathroom sink did not drain. One staff member on duty, no maintenance person at hotel to help she tried in between checking people in. She put draino in both, didn’t work , had sewer smell in room. Deadbolt on door didn’t work, security problems. It was a king suite!! Very disappointing, couldn’t stay had to leave!

The clerk was very nice. It was an easy check in. I had dogs and it was nice and quiet which made the stay comfortable.

The bed was AWFUL! Other than that, we were pleasantly surprised. Would stay here again for sure.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The door to the room did not lock when leaving, but when I reported this, staff said they would get on it right away. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Our room was on the second floor. We had to carry everything through stairs. No elevator available. Once we wanted to shower we found out it wasn’t working. We moved rooms. They had one room left that didn’t have a guest key to. It meant if we left we had to have front office open it every time. No discounts or anything given to us after this. Also, the beds were like sleeping on the floor. Super hard.
