This was a great stay on Route 66 in Flagstaff with the view of the mountains. Clean, great parking and excellent way to enjoy Flagstaff.

Please please please do not stay. Dirty rooms, bad customer service, denied water and ice. It’s not worth it and I had to stay one night due to long distance travel

The communication from the inn was great. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Older inn but newly remodeled and super clean N/A

This place was pretty terrible! My sister who was barely able to climb a flight of stairs because she had a stroke, wanted to switch rooms, but they said there were no rooms left. The room had a dirty, musty smell to it. I didn’t even wanna sleep in that bed. I put a towel down first. The room was stuffy and smelly so I wanted to turn on the ac, but the ac wasent working. The other guests in the other rooms were sitting in the doorways to their rooms. There was a guy hanging out behind the building being creepy. I did not feel safe here. I came back here after being at my friends around midnight, and a strange man approached me asking about another guest who was staying there and was not answering their door. He looked like a homeless man or someone who was up to no good. I was scared. I do not like this place.

For an older motel, it was a dynamic stay I have stayed at a Ramada Inn and ended up leaving the next night because it had roaches and the toilet kept overflowing and when I told him they just left me a plunger in the middle of the living room suite, but this place I walked in and have been completely remodeled was beautiful. The air conditioner was ice cold, which was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was spotless, clean and new. Yes there was a train nearby but we were passing through and had driven eight hours and we’re exhausted and honestly it lol me to sleep and I didn’t mind it a bit. It was the cleanest hotel. I’ve stayed at in a long time and we’ve stayed in hotels so many times because we travel across the nation and I will absolutely stay there again. It was it was perfect. We loved it. The refrigerator was ice cold it was the first time I’ve ever had my ice packs being solid, frozen and none of the other hotels I’ve ever stayed at have ever left my ice packs frozen for the next day. They’ve been cold, but never frozen and our drinks were ice cold for the next morning. It was perfect. We slept amazing. We felt safe it was clean. We were able to park two steps from our door so unloading and reloading was so easy so we have marked it down as the place that we will stay every time we pass thru.

The toliet lid bite my ass every time i sat on it the only give you soap for one person,when two people were staying. The toilet paper was like wiping with sand paper. The water preasure was horriable. The lady at the front desk was nice though. She was the only good thing.

My go to in Flag. Stayed at MVI many times this year and always had a great experience. Dollar for dollar the best “budget” hotel in town. Rooms are well appointed beyond the price and the family who runs the property were always helpful and friendly.

I was thinking I was going to regret booking here after I read the reviews. However when I came to check-in, everything went smooth as eggs. The front desk attendant was polite & straight to the point. The room looked exactly as pictured, it was clean & first thing I did was check for bedbugs. There was NONE. The a/c worked great, TV was entertaining & it was a nice little simple room. The property was clean & the mountain view was pretty to look at. I enjoyed my stay, I would book/stay here again. The price was very affordable. Highly recommend for a good night's sleep.

GREAT PLACE FOR THE RATE! Comfy bed. Very clean. Great staff. New tiling and flooring throughout. AC could be a little stronger. Didn't matter much with the temps during my stay but if it was much warmer it would not be able to keep up. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a very clean property. It is obvious that the property has undergone a remodel, and it was done well. This is a no-frills property, but a very clean, comfortable stay. Perfect for a business trip if you are just looking for a place to lay your head at night.

Upon booking i selected handicap accommodations. I didnt get that at all. I had steps to my room n a very narrow bathroom. I was too tired change it. Bathroom had 1/4 of toilet paper roll no extra roll. No kleenex box.

There was hair in the bed sheets so I doubt the sheets were washed before we got there. Bugs in the window seal. We were charged an extra fee for our 3 year old son.. we had to share 2 pillows amongst the 3 of us.. if you’re going to charge an extra fee for toddlers at least offer an extra pillow lol.

The bath tub in 17 had been refinished but there are lots of raised bumps all over the surface that aren't sharp but you can feel them and it wasn't comfortable.

The room was clean and staff at check in was great! Located right by train tracks so recommend bringing a white noise machine for while sleeping. Great location and enjoyed the local cafe down the street! Woke up 2 times in the night smelling very strong weed! When we checked out, the cleaning crew were standing outside our door smoking weed!! Have some respect for the public and your guests!

Clean rooms $233.00 for one night stay. The next-door guest was yelling, cussing, hitting the walls, and playing their TV at 3:30 am. I called the manager. No one answered. She called me back. I told her what was going on. She called their room. The man said he would not answer the phone and referred to the manager in vulgar terms. They continued this behavior until 6:30am, then left for work. When we checked out, I told the manager about their continued behavior. She said they coiuldn't do anything about it. I said you could have kicked them out. No reply form her.

We just booked it like down the street because we weren’t sure if we were gonna spend the night or drive another 2.5 hrs. But, fyi, they will charge for late check ins.

Might have had a different rating if this non business person had better manners and treated paying custpmers with simple common courtesy and respect. The price was low, so I usually don't expect much. Moved to a cheaper one down the street. Had I not paid in advance for 3 days through expedia I would have checked out and used the 3rd day somewhere else due to the fowl treatment.

The staff was incredibly rude refused service and gave my deposti and late fee back. I drove 10 hours to get to that reserfed spot. For her to turn us away like that just because of a confusion was incredibly unprofessional and i hope she looses her job for that type of behavior. I sure wouldnt want my business to be represented by someone so inconsiderate.

I always love my stay here. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and huge bonus it's walking distance to the Museum Club (zoo) where you can always find the animals.

The train runs all night and is so loud...you think it's running through your room. Also the street is noisy too but not all night.

Wasn’t expecting a lot, and really didn’t want or need any extra frills, just needed a place to sleep and it was perfect for that. Parts of the room were in good shape and seemed new and other parts were old and not in great shape. Room was kind of dark.

Good,, affordable place to stay in Flag. Your only challenge, as with all hotels on the Rt 66 strip is the trains going through at night. Bring ear plugs.

I was driving in from Tucson and I called the hotel to let them know I will be arriving at 11pm. She told me I had to chk in no later than 11pm or else I had to pay an extra 20.00. I was about 1 hr away when I called. I had to drive over 85 mph to not be late. I thought it was crazy that I had to do that, I’m just thankful that I made it safe. I don’t think this is fair or right for people that drive long distance.

What an awful experience, the person upstairs directly above our room was making noise the entire night when I confronted the front desk they were very unhelpful and rude about trying to make anything right with our terrible stay. The room has a window in the bathroom that faces the sunrise, causing a lot of light into the room.We were also caught in a traffic issue on our way after a 7hr drive and the office charged us a $20 late check in fee, even though we called to let them know we were behind.

This is an old classic Route 66 motel that is completely updated and immaculate. It was truly nostalgic to stay there. Gallup has a lot to see

They charge u 10 dollars if u leave trash in the trash cans the want u to clean ur own room

Charged extra money for coming in 30 minutes late and the train kept me up. You could hear people talking all night.

I loved the easy check in. The lady at the front was so kind. The rooms very clean and quiet.

no coffee pot. no ice.

The property was clean clearly freshly renovated with new floors and tiles and bathroom. However it was limited space, small bed, simple, no coffee or tea amenities, old building. Although it was less expensive than many similar motels in the area it still felt expensive for what it offered and in comparison with similar motels in that price range we stayed in last several days.

Clean, inexpensive, recently renovated.

Room was awesome for the price. I was so tired from driving from Cortez, Colorado to Flagstaff, the bed was just cozy. My friend stated it was noisy due to the trains passing by every 20 to 30 minutes. I didn't hear the trains until I woke up,lol. That would be a problem for some.

Had an amazing stay, very clean and staff are amazing and helpful.

I am appreciative that she allowed me in but her attitude was poor. I won't stay here in the future. It is next to the train as well.

Rooms were not made!

Staff was friendly and rooms were pretty clean. Towels were thin and hard. No place to hang towels after use had to request fresh ones due to no place to dry so we could use again. no ice machine. Bed was very hard.

I gave it 3 stars for the fact that there were a few things that were a bit disappointing. First of all the water temperature for the shower took forever to heat up, the water pressure was very low. There was only one roll or toilet paper, no tissue box. The walls are a bit thin you can hear the next door guest. The sheets in the bed were stain. Im definitely not staying here ever again.

TEN DOLLARS FOR TRASH. So I stayed one night and before check out the next day I cleaned up after myself left the bag by the door the room was clean but they still charged me

My wife and I stayed here for one night during a quick stopover. While we didn’t spend much time in the room, we did appreciate how clean it was, and the bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. However, there were limited amenities—just hand soap provided. We noticed a small window by the vanity with some cobwebs, though it wasn't too obvious unless you looked closely. The window lacked any blinds or curtains, allowing some sunlight to come through in the morning, which was a bit disruptive while sleeping in.

The room was so small we had about a foot between the bed and the dresser. The door could barely open to get in. All in all it caused me some phobia

I came with a service dog & I got in late from driving 16 hrs. I called several hotels to see availability & mentioned I had a service dog. When I checked in I just grabbed my keys and went because I had already made the reservations online. The next morning at 6am when letting my dog out to pee the owner was outside and ran toward me angrily shaking his finger saying I’m not allowed to have a dog. I told him her vest and ID and papers were in the room. He said “show me them” then disappeared while I let my dog finish. I went to the room fully planning on going back to bed since I got in at midnight. And while I was on the toilet he came banging on the door. I yelled to give me a min. After I finished 2 mins later… no one at the door. I packed up and went to checkout, instead of getting any rest. I saw him in the yard and he said show them to the manager (his wife) I went in to office, and she said there’s a $50 fee and pointed to a sign for not disclosing I have a service animal. There were signs everywhere. As if I’d somehow single that one out, out of view at 12 midnight. Also I called ahead. I told her. She said she was on staff she didn’t get a call about a dog. She wasn’t. It was a young girl that night. These people a horrific abs rude. Try to keep in mind that I have SEIZURES… and STRESS triggers them! The whole experience set off a slew of them for the following 2 days. Absolute awful.

If you are a lite sleeper this hotel is not for you. Its on a major highway and just across the street from some active train tracks.

People knocking on doors in the middle of the night.

Freaking noisy with very loud trains consistently passing the property, through no fault of the motels but rates should be much lower for zero coffee, noise etc.

Bare bones without a lot of extra amenities, like coffee. But it was clean and the front desk attendant was friendly. Nothing special but fine as an affordable place to crash.

We had to move room because the bed was covered in hair. The second room, the shower was covered in hair. It appears to be hard to get a cleaning crew here.

Its cheap but its also right next to the train tracks, if your a light sleeper not recommended

Nicely remodeled. Friendly staff. Only suggestion for improvement; in our specific room there was a frosted bathroom window that could use a curtain. It got very bright in the room very early.

Well definitely under new ownership. All rooms have been remodeled and the outside is very well kept. Housekeeping was the best. Didnt have to ask they were there first thing making sure we had what we needed.

The rooms were clean. As for my experience, I have to say I was disappointed overall. Our TV didn't work and we didn't know this until about 11:00 pm so it was to late to call someone to fix it. Our check out time was 11:00 am so me and my husband were sleeping in. At 9:45 there was a knock on the door and then it opened. A male , Im assuming housekeeping, opened the door and and asked when we were checking out. My husband was in the bathroom and I was in bed. If checkout is 11:00 then why did he open our door? So then at 10:30 he opened the door AGAIN. I have never had an experience like this and I will never use this motel again.

The place was dusty upon arrival and had bugs in the room. We made sure it wasn’t bed bugs but it was not a great welcome. The windows didn’t seem very thick so we could hear everything outside. We just didn’t feel safe.

Clean property. But around it a lot of buildings that have gone out of business or abandoned.

Fairly decent stay

Staff was friendly and room was somewhat clean. However, I woke up to some big black ants the next day and there was no hot water when I tried to shower. Just a heads up like most of 66, the railroad is across the street so you’re going to hear train horn on and off when you’re sleeping.

I would take shampoo, conditioner and body wash, there won't be any.

Stay was worth the price. Room was clean. The noise outside due to traffic and train was loud at times. Other than that, the stay met my needs for one night.
